just because a few ppl in the fandom are toxic doesn't mean you get to generalise the whole fandom as problematic btw.

The only generalisation that can be correct is that "No generalisation is ever correct."
Blanket statements can't capture the nuance or work on an individual case-by-case basis, there will always be exceptions to a rule. No two people are the same, and no single statement can fully and accurately describe them both. It's important to notice when we encounter these generalisations, otherwise it's an easy road to prejudice, assumption and dehumanisation of all kinds.
Blanket statements tend to rule the world online. Even when generally correct, they can have major flaws. It's why I use words like 'tend' and 'generally' myself. When you see them, think about what exceptions there may be to a given statement.
Always remember nuance, you will be a kinder, more thoughtful person than anyone who lives in a black-and-white world.

Every blog I go to who believes transandrophobia is a real and valid form of oppression tend to be non-binary, intersex, people of colour, kink blogs, multiple pronoun users, asexual, aromantic, therians, disabled and a whole host of other identities that have experienced historical exclusion from queer and trans spaces.
Every blog I go to who unironically says transandrocunts and believes that tma/tme is somehow good tend to be white, perisex, binary and passing trans people or— in most cases— cisgendered. Which could mean fucking nothing.

“The first thing you need to know,” the stable master announced loudly to the gaggle of school children trailing behind her, “is that these are not unicorns.”
Eleven-year-olds tended to be loud. Their silent scepticism was deafening.
“You cannot keep unicorns in captivity,” she continued. “These are all crossbreeds, mostly with specific breeds of horses.”
There was a small murmur of curiosity and a gangly arm shot up into the air.
“Yes?”
“Only mostly horses?”
It was always fun when some of them paid close attention. “Only mostly horses. I only deal with European breeds, and they tend to cross well with horses. See this here is a cross between a grey Thoroughbred and an English Unicorn. They’re large, and reasonably docile.” They also had that champagne sheen most showy folk preferred. “For people who come here looking for a steed, this is their best bet. Although I've only ever seen it done by people who personally broke them as yearlings.”
By now she definitely had the whole class’s full attention.
“But this French Licorne cross is actually half fallow deer.” She gestured to the pasture beyond the fence. “Look at them. Slight build, slender legs, built for speed and agility. They need a lot of space but they are beautiful to look at, and they’re relatively easy to tame for the pure of heart.” There was still something distinctly deer-like about them and they were all so beautifully cream coloured that they almost took on a silver hue.
“What’s those hairy ones?” a voice piped up.
“That’s a Unicorno/Shetland mix, from central Italy. Traditionally they tend to be crossed with Monterufolino, but they are hard to come by and make their coats even darker.” Unicorni were naturally built more like ponies, some with considerably shorter horns, and their coats were often a much darker gold, or even brown. They were less flighty than the French breeds though, even if they showed blatant favouritism towards certain caretakers. They would even pull a carriage if properly motivated.
“Do you have any bigger ones?”
The stable master turned around. “What was that?”
One of the boys was standing behind her with a determined look on his face. “Do you have any like that but bigger. With the beards and the furry hooves.”
“Feathering,” she corrected automatically and the boy nodded eagerly. She frowned. “What exactly do you mean?”
“There’s really big unicorns,” he pressed. “With wild manes and tails and split hooves like the French ones but hair like those ones!”
“Buddy,” she laughed, “what you’re describing there is a Scottish unicorn and let me tell you, they cannot even be crossbred into domestication.”
The little face fell.
“Any offspring of an Aon-adharcach will be as wild as they are no one can capture them with their horn still intact, not on your life. You go near one of them with a halter and it will skewer you.”
She smiled at the boy, who still looked rather taken aback, despite this proof of his favourites superiority.
“Tell you what. If you want to see something unhinged and imposing, I’ll take you to see the Eenhoorn/Friesian cross we’ve just got in from the Netherlands.”

I live for the imagine, the idea of the lads men having a nightmare in the middle of the night. One where you would often shake him awake and afterwards, pull him into your arms. There he was, cold sweat dripping down his chin. Hands, body trembling as he calm down from whatever he just dream of. He settle in your arms, looking, searching for warmth. Searching for life. "It's okay." You whispered to him. "It's okay love, I'm here." You gently hold his cheek. "It's okay. I'm okay. I'm here. You have me." You grab a hold of it gently, your eyes looking for his. "Look at me. I'm safe." You utter once your eyes found his. Hands reach out for his and bring it to your chest where you heart is beating. It took him a couple of minutes to relax, your free hand running your hand through his hair. Soothing him back to sleep. "It's alright. Nothing can take me away from you."

Liberals of all sorts will confidently talk about what "indigenous peoples"* want in a way that makes it clear they've never studied a single anti-colonial movement in their lives. Like they can't conceptualise that the societies deemed "indigenous" are (by necessity of still existing) every bit as alive and part of the 21st century as any other people, instead preferring to think of them as nothing more than static museum exhibitions with any deviation from this being a lack of "authenticity". Nor do they imagine that resistance to colonising powers stems from the vicious destruction and exploitation these societies are invariably subjected to (by necessity of being classified as "indigenous"); rather they see it as a matter of idealistic preference for a "natural" and "primitive" life that leads them to resist the inevitable "march of civilisation" for its own sake
These sorts of foolish ideas are widespread, but groups will express them in more explicit terms than usual. Like Anti-Civs are really nothing more than the typical Liberal idea of the "Noble Savage" taken to a logical conclusion; if such people are so Noble then maybe we should aspire to Savagery. It's ultimately incredibly reactionary, whatever its adherents claim; a true progressive would reject the chauvinistic framing of "Civilisation vs Savagery" altogether
*nearly always as some sort of homogenous group, lacking meaningful variation both between societies and within them

"all podcasts are about a pathetic man going through the horrors" factoid actually just statistical error. Listenership Georg, which is about a man and inspires over 10,000 posts per day, is a statistical outlier adn should not have been counted

siblings are messy and complicated btw! i cannot see another “if you think the black brothers hate each other then you don’t have siblings” post. siblings are messy and complicated. siblings are perfectly capable of hating one another. if you think that sirius and regulus somehow could inherently rise above the hatred and vitriol their parents instilled and encouraged in them just because they’re brothers then you are making both of them uncharacteristically virtuous

(TLDR at end)
Telling housebound people that you "loved covid" to justify you calling them lucky isnt the got ya moment you think it is
During covid EVERYTHING was for you, EVERYONE was in it with you, for school people were doing online school you didnt have to go through months even years of legal stuff to be able to get that.
When you are house bound everyone moves on, no one waits for you, everyone goes about their lives, they forget you ever existed, you stop existing in society
And covid lockdown wasn't for years. And You had the empathy and compassion of the people around you.
Also your forgetting housebound people have a reason we are housebound, which normally is to do with energy, or another significantly disabiling thing,
so we normally cant just do all the fun stuff we want in our house, we are normally not doing all the stuff you say you would apparently have time to do if you were housebound.
I literally get out of breath and exaughsted by going to the toilet or up and down stairs. I spend most my day in my bed tired. Its not fun. Its never been fun. Im not having a fun time. My quality of life is terrible. I am a 14 year old girl trapped inside my home.
Stop using "well i loved covid" as a got ya moment. So invalidating and so mean. You don't understand.
Sometimes i do tell people well covid lockdown wasn't nice and they have been through it and not enjoyed it probably after they call my lucky for being housebound,
But thats more to get empathy after they say im lucky and not because they are directly the same,
its an attempt to show something that may resonate with them and they may realise how it infact is not fun being trapped inside your home
but i genuinely do not care if covid was the best time of your life because its not actually very similar
TLDR
Covid lockdown and being house bound are not similar,
stop telling house bound people you loved covid
after they say they arent lucky for being housebound and give covid as an example of how it sucks being trapped at home.
Covid isnt similar to being housebound in countless ways,
many of us just tell you that to try and have understanding from you
