Biserka: A therian that can transform into a large sized panther. Her teeth and claws can rend through flesh easily. She can also imbue her claws or a weapon she is holding with lunar energy. This energy impacts any affected by radiant, moon-relation, and light in general. It is also with imbuement she can discern through any 'falsities' such as illusions or disguises. Even outside of her transformation, Biserka maintains the power and dexterity of her other form making her hard to get a hit on and woe to be hit by. Her skin is tough to where piercing weapons are not assured to get through and that she can take a beating.

She does use swords but is not afraid to get down and dirty in a brawl. Her fighting style can be considered brutal due to her being taught by a rather sadistic teacher. And can have an enemy in ribbons if she doesn't contain her own bloodlust. Unlikely since she a very collected individual that tends to get down to business.

Her boon and bane is her connection with the moon where she is strongest during a full moon night and weakest on a new moon night. For the sake of this fight, they will be fighting sunset on a full moon night to give Biserka her peak performance.

Oren Tenebris: The head of the Circle of the Silver Branch, a coven of witches that has blended with the modern day. He and his childhood friends are considered the strongest of their coven, which is why he got pushed to be head. And what makes Oren powerful is his lack of specialization. Driven by curiosity, Oren has dabbled in all manner of spells and keeps the ones he finds interesting in his arsenal.

But where he is the best at is considered cosmic magic where he recreates the majesty, fear, awe and destruction of the celestial objects. This includes searing heat of a sun, the attributes found within planets, the crushing of immense gravity and the meanings that have been given to stars and constellations. He also has a small sense of clairvoyance due to this ability but it does little more for him than to predict the next move a 'predictable' opponent.

However, he doesn't consider himself to be a typical mage and is actually quite adept at physical fighting. He uses magic to reinforce his limbs to take blows from beasts as well as make his punches and kicks hold quite a bit of weight behind them. The closest approximation of his fighting would be a mix of muay thai and hung ga. His punches are very solid in connection and he is speedy with his elbows and shins.

in Storm Bringer, Iceman mentions Chuuya punching a guy through (several) ceilings for having asked him about his past. That guy was a wholeseller Chuuya was supposed to be making a deal with for the jewel trade he was in charge of. That incident happened July 18th, and it took the guy 3 months to heal.

Now, we know both halves of skk were 15 in, well, Fifteen, and that at this time in SB, they should both be 16. Chuuya's birthday is in April, and Dazai's, June.

Since there was a time skip of a month at the end of Fifteen, the punching incident can't have been from then, as we need at least that amount of time for Dazai's birthday to have already passed. So this was after the boys' 16th birthdays, July 18th +3 months, placing SB's events at somewhere at least mid-October, even November.

The events of SB take place over like, at most, 2 weeks, between the Flags' deaths and the final fight. Then, there's another one-month skip in the epilogue, +1.5 month, so we're now at minimum in December-January range.

The Dragon's Head Conflict is said to have happened "shortly after the King of Assassins incident". Skk should still be 16 during the conflict, so we have until the end of April to get there. The conflict lasted for 88 days, nearly 3 months, bringing us to a bare minimum of it starting at the tail end of January.

What I'm saying is there was barely 6 months, most likely even less, between SB and the end of the Dragon's Head Conflict. The PM might have mostly avoided taking part in it (canon reason why they managed to take over the underworld in its wake), but they still suffered from it all the same, especially since they had just spent and lost a lot of resources during their fight against Verlaine.

Also Chuuya must have had like 3 months to make those friends before losing them too.

Shockingly underrated thing about Leo is that he’s legitimately charming when he wants to be?

He’s the Faceman! He’s persuasive! That’s not just some random title he gave himself with no backing to it. People will listen to him. Even if they think he’s being annoying or if they’re upset at him, people listen to him anyway! There’s a reason his bros push him out front to talk to people, and when this happens, that talking nearly always works.

Moreover, Leo knows people. He looks at them and takes into account how they act and what they’re like as he makes his way through the conversations. It’s easy to forget this aspect of Leo’s character because he only brings it out when he really needs (read: wants) to, but it really is a notable part of him that always love to see.

And I say charm in particular because he has a knack for not only getting people to pay attention, but for getting people to stay and listen to what he has to say.

his hand flexes, digging into the raised scar like it’ll part beneath his fingertips to plunge into his mangled insides. no one knows the cruelty of reforming the halved; his name, his being, not nearly as important as his body when he was stripped from himself. no one knows the pain of healing and understanding losing pieces of yourself means losing your value along with them.

how many more pieces did he have to lose before he was halved once more? before his very presence incurred grief so strong it was better to be rid of him than cradle his bloodied remains?

did the infant fight himself? did he age always at odds with himself; his halves never truly whole? he hopes he wasn’t, that he was spared the loss of self; the fear that one may be welcomed over the other.

who will he lose when the inevitable comes? when he’s ripped apart again? simon? or ghost? is it better to be cursed with choice just like his mother or live with an aftermath chosen for him? does it matter if in the end, he convinces himself there was nothing of him left to lose?

his head lolls to the side and the wild buck of his chest slows. he watches johnny beside him, his face lax with the rare peace of sleep; his cheek squished against the pillow, his lips pursed as long breaths escape him.

johnny. soap. never torn asunder but two all the same.
