anyways this session has really solidified the reason quackity chose the people he did for me. because i remember connor getting an ask a while back complaining about how they wanted quackity to add people who would actually play instead of his friends (ie wilbur) who may not be active as often and. it rubbed me the wrong way for a lot of reasons, but mainly because it's clear quackity didn't choose just his friends. sure, it was a bonus that he was close to them, but quackity's first priority has never been "who can minmax the server and stream every day?" it's been "who is a good storyteller/who can tell a good story?"

because that's the core of it. the qsmp isn't about streaming or playtime, not necessarily. it's about the story. during the first announcement, people were surprised to see dantdm and jaidenanimations on the cast, because dan isn't really in quackity's circle and jaiden is barely an mcyt even if you push it. but you know what they were? storytellers. dan was a part of so many people's childhoods with his mod showcases and miscellaneous videos, all of which had lore. jaiden creates entire stories from video games! games with pre-determined stories that she has to spin into something new, something of her own.

and then the brazilians were added. some of them still did minecraft content, sure, but not all of them. but they were still storytellers. cellbit has his entire rpg. pac and mike have multiple roleplay series. and when you get to the french, the pattern repeats. baghera, for example, with her gta roleplay. not all of them are minecrafters at their core, but they are storytellers, and for most of them, improvisational ones at that. the same, of course, goes for the newest batch. pol is a filmmaker. vshojo has insane, deeply complex lore for all their vtubers. bagi is adept at ttrpg. sure, people being able to log on often is a necessity, but what good would that be if it ended up sacrificing quality for quantity?

this session really nailed it for me because you could see their expertise shine through. i feel like, even still, a lot of mcrp is seen as "lesser" because of its medium, or because of how it can switch between roleplay and just creators hanging out. roleplay is only typically praised and called to attention when it's highly emotional, and the same goes for the storytelling, with a heavier focus on how well creators can utilize angst as opposed to other moments. but this was treated differently. the silliness of minecraft was gone. what was previously disregarded came into light, like how fucking smart foolish is when writing characters and how well quackity is able to play into the story while staying true to his character, among other things! i just think quackity's brilliance in selecting his server members isn't talked about enough, because holy shit has he done a fantastic job

Hunter: Also Stardew Valley. Luz introduced him to it and he loves the change of pace. It encourages him to slow down.

Willow: Flyer Derby <year>. She loves that she is a playable character!

Gus: Prop Hunt. All the fun Human Artifacts!

Vee: Minecraft. She plays on a server with her old cabin mates (but especially Masha)

King: Backyard Baseball (so he can play catch)

Camilla: Cosmic Frontier for the Super Nintendo. Don’t mess with the classics

Eda: Grand Theft Auto. She has had to go legit now that she runs a school but GTA helps her get her criminal urges out.

Okay it is time for me to talk about rpz characters !

Small explanation on what is rpZ : a gta rp server that was created by Zeraror made to last 2 weeks exactly. It was the first introduction to rp for a lot of French streamers. It was full rp and almost everything was impro. The only big event really organized was elections for the mayor (won by a dog who gives free cocaine btw)

All of our french qsmp stremears (expect Kameto) participated.

ANTOINE CROUTE (he/him)

Baghera character

He is 16 years old, youngest of the server, often misgender because of his high-pitched voice. He spent the full two weeks with his cousin Daniel Croute (play on words with Antoine Daniel), so we can't speak about one without speaking about the other two they are basically soulmate. At first we think they both have parents and we don't see them because they are on holidays, but towards the end given the fact that they confess that there parents don't give news and the fact that they live on the street we understand they have been abandoned.

Antoine often says he is the muscle and Daniel the brain but they both aren't that smart and very naive and get themself into a lot of troubles. They are looking for an internship but always inevitably get fired because of their numerous mistacke. They will finaly found a job at Montazac(Antoine characters)'s vineyard even after a few incident in the end Donatien de Montazac permently hire them, makes them heir then adopt them.

Links with q!Baghera :

The obvious one is their need for a family and habit to get attached quickly to anyone who start to respond to their need. Baghera did it with philza and Antoine with Donatien and Doc Maison(a mentor of his). The fact that they don't have a "real" familly hurt their selfestem

Then more funny(?) is their relationship with death. Or if we want to be precise the temporary kind of death (because of the coma dynamic in gta and respawn in Minecraft ). If you are familiar with q!Baghera she as a tendency to die a lot but also to encourage other to do so, saying they should die more, have more fun with death in general. She steps on mine, drown herself, jump of clif, for fun and giggle a lot. In the spawn of two weeks Antoine had 48 coma, the record of the server (compilation of all his coma). Antoine keeps on dying dumb way and never learn his lesson as doctors will anyway always come to help him

Their compassion and the way they always go out of their way to help. q!Baghera in a way that she always tries to find the best solution to help their friends and resolve situations and Antoine just throws himself into dangerous situation to help his loved one.

In the first week of the qsmp, Baghera told the adventures of the Croute cousins to Pomme as a bed time story. The moral was that even when adversity kept making their life difficult they kept hoping for their happy ending with they got.

DONATIEN DE MONTAZAC (he/him)

Antoine's character. He is a winery owner, very rich, and has for motivation getting even richer. We understand quite fast that he doesn't care for no one except him and his money(but his characters evolve during the weeks). He is taken ostage at least 4 times and somwhat always manage to escape the situation harmless and with more money than before. He isn't violent but is in an relashionship with the Vagos (local mafia) to protect his domain. He presented himself to the election and had a lot of votes, he was quite pised to lost against a dog.

For multiple reason (he snitched on him to the cops) he is hated by doctor Cox, a dangerous ex psychologist with a love for revenge. Cox will try to manipulate antoine into betraying Donatien without sucees. The last day he will kidnapepd both Croute cousins and will force Donatien to choose one to kill, he will refuse to but will instead forced to beat them up. They will be ultimatly be saved by the fact that Cox henchman don't want kids to be hurt in the conflict and called the police. After the incident he will confess that for them he would have been capable of paying any ransom (wich is a lot coming from him)

Links with q!Antoine :

I think q!antoine is really different from Donatien but one thing they do have in common is their selfishness. Not in a particularly mean way but they both put their own interests as an all top priority and won't go out of their way to help other if it doesn't benefices them.

But also both character soften their way for they kids, Donatien for Antoine and Daniel and Antoine for Pomme. In both case it is a slow warming to them and then love with a powerful want to protect(less shown with Donatien because Antoine is already almost an adult and can take care of himself)

He reference his character out of rp : During qsmp 2024 anytime he was winning a lot of money he would jokingly said he was in a "Donatien arc". During the elections arc, he said that he gave enough before and don't want to try to lose to the dumb mascot again (Gegg in qsmp, the dog in rpz)

PATRICK PAGNOLESS (he/him)

Aypierre's character.

(Okay, so I didn't watch his pov. This is more what I know from wiki fandom/clips/seeing him in other pov)

He is the owner of the Pagnoless brother with his brother Jackyyy (played by JimmyBoyyy which you might have seen during purgatory 2). It is the richest enterprise as well as the one with more depts. He is from the south of France and left to escape the Corse mafia.

Etoiles's character.

Not much to say since because of scheduling conflict and difficulties with rp Etoiles didn't play much. He was basically a bald doctor with depression. He is really passive aggressive and hates his job.

ANYWAY, that was not short at all but I cut a lot of things and tried to make it still understandable.I maybe forgotten things, rpz were a pretty eventful 2 weeks.

To all my mutuals who I've been around for 6+ years who have "MCYT" in their Discord servers' blacklists, I am geniunely truly sorry, I have failed you

[Feat me kind of ranting below, talking about discourse and comparing roleplaying in Minecraft with your usual roleplaying in GTA since it's the topic of my fanart, even though noone asked for it and I'm not even trying to spark a discussion i just need to get it off my chest]

But I have to be honest : for the past two months I've been pondering whether or not I should publicly share any fanart of the kind because I didn't know if I wanted to be associated with the fandom Which like don't get me wrong, I enjoy a lot of the fan content that's being shared around, I am geniunely impressed- I mean dude look at my main account, look at this mess, look how much qsmp I'm reblogging I am as obssessed as you are But I'm talking about the "you know " part of the fandom The "I have been part of the Warrior Cats fandom for 10 years and this hits a new low in terms of cyber harrassment being done in the name of fiction" kind

Also also the other thing that makes me unconfortable is that, back in my GTA RP days, the line between the characters and the streamer/content creator is clear, it's a wall, they are absolutely not the same. I've had times where I would follow the VODs of one character and it took me a whole year to figure out what the CC looked and sounded like. Because when in roleplay the character and the CC don't share the same name, or voice, or personality, or opinions, or background. Streaming with a webcam showing the CC's face is uncommon during rp scenes, some of them don't even interact with their chats, metagaming/OORP is a(n even) big(ger) no-no. Like you can't even say that your game is lagging, instead you say that your character has got a headache or else it would break the immersion of the roleplay And I get that there are pros and cons between those differences, the players feels more at ease when it's less strict rp (imagine having to mute your mic when laughing for the sake of the immersion of the other players, that's some GTA RP rules for you)

But my biggest con imo is the line being so blurry between the character and the CC. Not the CCs' fault oviously, but it doesn't help that some people would take it too seriously and too far and merge the character and the person behind the screen into the same entity. Which they aren't.

Mountain - animal crossing. the perfect mix of collectibles, little friends, and gardening :) has terrible taste though. even dew thinks his house decor is ugly

Dew - gta v. buys a tank and blocks the highway with it so he can cause mass chaos with explosives!

Aurora - minecraft. you might think she likes creating elaborate builds but you'll always find her on a hardcore pvp server. she gets too frustrated in single player... *rorabug died in lava*... *rorabug was killed by a skeleton*... *rorabug tried to fly and failed*

Phantom - playing whatever the others are playing but on a controller that's not connected. poor guy always has a good time though. maybe one day they'll let him play

Cumulus - world of warcraft. i don't really know what this is but it feels like something cumulus would like

Swiss - a sudoku app. got really into it but still doesn't understand how to do the complex ones. instead he speedruns the easy levels

Cirrus - mobile games like homescapes and candy crush. definitely level 4928275 and is on it whenever she's got free time. just finished a show? play a bit of candy crush. need to sleep but not tired? give that homescapes level another go

Aether - doesn't play digital games. would rather play bridge with omega

Rain - red dead redemption 2. living his best cowboy life. goes on murder sprees (his fav method is hogtie-ing people and dragging them about with his horse) but also must be nice and say hi to all the villagers or he gets sad

If I may, only because it's midnight and I'm feeling sentimental, I don't know what genre of brain I have that I'm like this but for the longest time my two primary raison d'etres have been Minecraft and languages. Like I've had a ton of hyperfixations over the years but those have never wavered for me.

And I've tried in the past to combine the two but it was never very easy, either because the language partners I found weren't into what I was into or the servers I found were too advanced and unacomodating for me to get anything out of it.

But now I'm on my seventh year of Spanish at the best possible time of my life because now I get to have conversations in Spanish (and mildly Portuguese) about Minecraft lore, and I'd never conceived this as a possibility before.

Not only that but now I have this world of content to help me learn and it's this perfect blend on my lifelong interests. Outside of a few videos, polyglot YouTubers almost never make multilingual gaming content, and mcyts rarely make bilingual content either.

But seffius, you cry, Karmaland has been around for ages. Brazilian Minecraft content is nothing new either.

But I'm talking about Minecraft content with a multilingual focus and a multilingual community. Something I can use to learn but it won't cost me if I don't understand everything because there are people who will help me.

I genuinely hope people of different content categories will pick this up. I want to see multilingual Rust. Multilingual GTA 5. VR chat. Whatever. I want to see polyglots actually have conversations outside of hello how are you with other content creators. The Internet is so fucking vast and makes so many different people accessible it's a damn shame we aren't all bilingual.

But we could be.

Author's Inspiration : I found a collection of Ao3 Coding works showcasing various unique things you can do with HTML code. I had never interacted with html coding beyond the basics of adding links to stories, but when I found La_Temperanza's choose your own adventure code I was inspired to make my own.

Grian was a natural choice to me--I had a swarm of ideas that started coming up-- fishing, phasmophobia, snails, pranks, watchers-- By the first day I had 37 endings planned with some more concrete than others.

I wrote the fishing branch first, followed by the Permit Office and then Shenanigans, with only one interruption of writing Desperate Creation.

Map of Pathways: Wake up is the starting page, each boxed number is an ending. All paths have at least 2 choices at any given time.

Note: while this is accurate, note that Endings 6, 7, 8, and 9 as well as the page 'Grumbot' that leads to them were cut for time to post for GTA. My plans for that pathway was for chat to spam "mumbo" when Grian was in the chamber of Sea Critters, Have Grumbot show up and send Grian back in time to a different Season of Hermitcraft, and have a weird event happen. (Season 6 was going to mess with time travel more and result in Grian being stuck in alpha world Minecraft, Season 7 was going to be during the Mycelium Resistance, Season 8 during the Moon crashing into the server, and Season 9 was going to be in the middle of the decked out dungeon.)

I think when it comes to board games they play the basics like uno and "Mensch ärger dich nicht" (idk the English version tbh). Or just card games in general because idk if I'm the only one but I think everybody in Germany at some point has those games that have 100 games writing on it.(I swear idk where it came from I didn't buy it.it spawned).

I think JoJo really Uno tho and they play it sometimes when they are at Camelot.

Leon isn't really a board game guy in my eyes. Yea he would play it when others bring it up but not by himself.

Vannesa is a card game type to me as well as Marlon. Idk they just give card game vibes.( Im Not in the whole card and board game thing so excuse me:') )

Deniz doesn't seem to be the guy that plays board games as well tbh. Would play if brought up but that's all.

If it comes to video games tho I can say a bit more. Those are games I think they would play so not games from that time

Leon:World of warcraft-. Doesn't look like the type of guy but when it was winter and they couldn't play soccer he started playing wow and could addicted. Maybe Marlon brought it up as a joke first. Leon probably plays FIFA here and there. Minecraft too tho

Marlon: Resident evil. And Nintendo games. Especially the legend of Zelda. Maybe when he got older he was saving a lot of money because he didn't want to fight over the computer with Leon so he bought a switch and started to play Nintendo games. Probably after the Nintendo ds broke they got as a birthday gift years back. And Minecraft too

Deniz: FIFA and maybe tried GTA as well. I don't think he plays a lot of video games tho. Like when he had time sometimes but that's all. Minecraft too like the others probably

Raban: definitely plays wow can't change my mind.also Pokémon obsessed. Other than wow he mostly played games on his phone like class royal ect. Would also instal those ad mobile games that suck

Vanessa: I don't know about her. Maybe shooter games here and there but don't see her as a gamer or anyone enjoying video games a lot. Minecraft yea but just because of the others. She doesn't really play it without them

JoJo: all cozy tbh. Stardew valley mostly. Gives his animals funny names and all(Mood). Minecraft is a basic I think but he definitely played it too and had a lot of dogs before he even had a house. Maybe some point and click like Deponia or Harvey's new eyes? Don't see him in shooter games. Maybe tried them but that's all

Markus:maybe shooter? I don't see him as a video game guy. Minecraft here and there but that's basically it. He played stardew valley with JoJo tho and had a few games on his phone. I see him as a secret Pokémon go enjoyer tho

They all made a Minecraft server but just after a couple of days it was dead. They tried it like 3 times and after 3 weeks the server was dead again

god i actually dont know bc im not a gamer girlie like miss cyber girl ene... i think takane plays everything pretty much. ofc more the shooters as we know but is probably pretty knowledgeable on a bunch of things, i think she especially loves horror and based on her canon fave movies (the godfather 2 and the clockwork orange) she's probably rly into games with an ongoing story, abt crime specifically. like yakuza and gta and all that stuff

i dont think seto plays any videogames and he gets frustrated easily when he plays with everyone. when mekatrio+ayano mario kart he is dead last like TRAGICALLY last. kano i dont have strong opinions but i liked ur hcs about him being into strategy games and hiding it a bit. i also think he'd like graphic novels... and he'd be the kind to watch lets plays instead of actually playing a game too. also hiyori i dont see her playing anything. maybe the sims too bc the awesomest girls play the sims

for haruka he rly plays everything like same as takane theyre the gamer couple ok. they play every single game ever and probably make icebergs together abt obscure videogames. they look for the weirdest most obscure game they can find and just do that for a friday night activity. other than that i think haruka also rly enjoys games like animal crossing and the sims and stardew valley etc. like for takane i think she plays those but gets bored pretty easy she just speedruns thru them and is frustrated theres no action and haruka Gets it more. though they both love minecraft❤️ the yuukei quartet minecraft server is real because it meets all of their conditions for games. i think ayano and shintaro want creative mode because theyre both into making their houses and being at peace and dont want Scary Surprises while haruka and takane prefer survival bc THATS GAMING!! so they always argue abt it lol. i think ayano could be into survival too but i think her reflexes suck LOL SHE JUST WANTS TO MAKE A TREE HOUSE.

haruka mentions being a little baby abt zombies so hes a baby abt horror to me. but he also says he pretty much gets over it after getting addicted to dead bullet soooo i think he can also enjoy horror games, just maybe not by himself. i think haruka and takane choose some horror game and keep arguing about the lights because haruka wants them on cuz hes scared and takane wants them off because That's How Horror Games Are Meant To Be Played

La verdad me gusta los videojuegos , me considero del tipo casual, es decir juego por diversión y entretenimiento y no por ser el mejor, lo mas chambita es que juego con mi grupo de amigos desde hace tiempo.

He jugado muchísimos temas de videojuegos pero como tal lo que tienen en común es que son juegos casuales, de estrategia, mundo abierto e incluso shooters, en mi niñez me gustaba mucho los juegos de celulares (porque en ese tiempo eran juegos de calidad) como el FNAF, el angry birds, geometry dash, clash royale, clash of clash, etc...., esos si eran juegos de calidad (casuales).

pero en la actualidad (a causa de no salir buenos juegos casuales) me mude de plataforma a PC, juego lo que es subnautica, fornite, valorant, forza, slime rancher 2,GTA V, Rocket legue, PVZ battle for neighborville, etc.., y ahora mismo estoy activo en un juego que ha durado mas de una década, pos es el Minecraft, lo juego porque junto a mis panas creamos un server , en total somos 5, y pues si es cierto que jugar con amigo es más divertido.

Depends. If he's with his dad he'll just sleep until he feels better, and generally ignore Phillip if he tries to probe him about what's wrong. If he's with his mother, he'll spend the entire week getting pampered and babied by his mother. He'll get home-cooked food and lemon water basically on demand.

11 | Do they have any addictions?

He has an unhealthy dependence to his vape. But, it's not that deep, bro, he can stop at any time, I'm sure. Ignore the stats.

28 | Are they a #gamer?

Yes! He's played video games since he was young. He likes the Rockstar games (which he was allowed to play when he was way too young. I'm sure Phillip knew what GTA was about but didn't care, he most likely played GTA III and Vice City with his brothers and wasn't into the moral panic a lot of adults have about violent video games) and he plays almost everything from shitty first-person shooters to highly acclaimed AAA titles. In fact, I'm sure he spent his entire summer between the 11th and 12th grades griefing younger kids on Minecraft. Phyllis's youngest grandchildren have a Minecraft server, I'd bet he's burnt down their villages and looted all their shit before, just for fun.

He is famous and I think he likes it just fine. He does have his own grievances with the press, but on the outside, he's generally nice to them and will stage pap walks just for the hell of it.

for the past few years, ACE has been centered around variety games, the biggest being GTA V. they’ve floated between gamemodes in GTA V over the years, but race-style games have been pretty consistent.

games such as Risk, Golf With Friends, Uno, Shellshock, and more have been pretty consistent on the channel as well. honestly, i could spent hours listing all the games that have been on this channel. it was even a fortnite channel for a hot second, but Jerome has fully admitted that he sucked at it
