you guys are finally married!! what does your life as newlyweds look like? <3

kenma did NOT get up the day after your wedding. and he didn’t let you get up either. you guys cuddled the entire day and then got up at like 6pm to get takeout for your first meal as husband and wife LMAO

that was basically your honeymoon but if you want to actually go somewhere, that’s totally fine <3 he’ll go with you

but his love definitely comes out most in just plain domesticity

and if you guys started living with each other even before getting married, you’ve definitely gotten a taste of that simple life

domesticity with kenma looks like you guys sharing a lot of chores

if he washes the dishes, you put them away and vice versa

and he actually enjoys doing the dishes (maybe slightly just bc you squeal and can’t help but kiss his cheek every time you see him roll up his sleeves and tie his hair back. just maybe)

on the other hand, LAUNDRY is the bane of your guys’ existence which means folding + movie nights are a STAPLE in your household

you both definitely take turns picking out movies while folding clothes or while you mend his old nekoma sweats

laundry makes him feel like years are being taken off his life though. he loves being on stray sock duty (pulling out your giant bag of stray socks and trying to find matches when the pile gets big enough) or sometimes he just ends up cuddling you instead. usually its with his arms wrapped around your waist, and he loves putting his head in your lap

sometimes it gets hard folding laundry when he does that

but you can’t complain, watching a movie and cuddling? suddenly laundry’s not that bad

and he’s just so comfortable and has this crazy effect of always making you feel sleepy that you guys have fallen asleep countless times on the couch

although this also leads to you guys waking up and the most random movies playing most of the time

like the one time you guys woke up to the shining theme playing and literally thought you were about to die (IK I MENTIONED THIS IN COLD KISSES BEFORE BUT IT IS STILL SUCH A FUNNY MEMORY TO ME)

sometimes you guys throw in a blanket while drying your clothes just so that while you’re both folding laundry you can be under a warm blanket too <3

you definitely binged like all the conjuring movies while folding laundry too

my guy cannot be trusted in the kitchen but he will try his very best if you ask him for help

will for sure keep you company in the kitchen no matter what though

is sometimes on music duty or will just play his switch while you’re cooking and you both enjoy the peaceful moment <3

he can also make tea or coffee for both of you while you're cooking!! he's very good at that <3 and definitely helps grab plates when you're both ready to eat

and sometimes gets out of bed early in the morning so he can bring you a cup of tea while you're still waking <3

especially on cold mornings. will 100% get out of bed for you. you're both cold? you want the heater up? okay <3 he'll get out of bed to turn it up before getting straight back into bed and pulling you close, nuzzling his cold face into your warm neck

but especially by marriage, if you want one-on-one time he will absolutely give you his full attention. why would he pass up on a chance to stare at his wife's pretty face and listen to her talk?

so oftentimes you’re curled up at his side, your face nuzzled into his torso to block out the light while he has a small lamp on and an arm resting you, holding you close

and when he finally goes to bed, he never fails to press a kiss to your head before wrapping his arms around u <3

Hello! That is honestly such a cute request and I have a few ideas for it hehehe

I’m going to do this for Karasuno and Nekoma, if you would like other teams, send in a request again saying which ones you want.

(For those who have sent in requests, don't worry, I'm getting round to writing them all up)

In all honesty, you were really into music and you wanted to sign up for a music club, so when you found yourself standing in the gym, you couldn’t have felt any more out of place.

It seems there was a bit of a mix up with the sign up sheets and you ended up becoming the manager for the boy’s volleyball team.

You don’t know shit about volleyball.

You talked with the teachers and they said it may take some time for them to go through the sign up sheets and find an empty spot in the music club for you to switch into.

So for now, it seems like you're stuck being the boy's volleyball manager.

On your first day, you were very confused about what exactly you should be doing. I mean the team already has a coach and an qualified teacher with them, what can a student manager do?

So you just sat around, watching the boys practice while the coach yells at them. You weren't going to lie, you got a little bored...

Next few days, you would do the same thing, you even used the time to get homework done, since you thought you'd rather do something than do nothing.

You won't lie to yourself, you weren't popular, or that's what you thought, just known by everyone because of how you looked. You knew you weighed more than the other girls in your class, it didn't bother you all that much and you did always try to see the better side of things.

But that doesn't mean that everyone else thought the same.

You were eating lunch with your friends in the school courtyard when a student walking by with his friends yelled out names at you like "piggy", "diabeto" and "fat cow". You didn't really take words like that to heart, they never were all that creative with the name calling.

However, before you or your friends could say anything, a boy from the volleyball team (you pick who) came and stood up for you.

You watched as he stood in front of you and started yelling back at the boy who was name calling you. "I think she's perfect the way she is!"

As you watched him, you couldn't help but wonder "had he always been this good looking? I hadn't noticed before...."

Funny how now you suddenly feel motivated to actually look into volleyball.

So next time there was a practice, you came prepared. You did your research, you learned the basic rules of volleyball and asked other sport manager's what they do.

The boys were surprised to see you suddenly interested since you usually sat in a corner dong homework.

"The teachers are taking forever with sorting the mess up, I didn't think I'd actually be here for here for this long. But since I am, I might as well help out." You shrugged when they questioned it. It wasn't a lie completely but it wasn't the only reason.

You glanced over to the boy who stood up for you the other day before quickly looking away again, he was smiling at you.

As the weeks passed, you began to pick up more and more about volleyball. It wasn't long before you memorized the positions and each player's weakness and strength.

The other boys were quick to notice your little crush and thought that it was probably why you decided to stick around, but later they began to feel like you genuinely enjoying being manager as well. You weren't a bad manager either, you helped everyone equally and the team as a whole.

Nishinoya was little shit though, you were kind and nice to everyone but with him, you're patience wore down thin.

You did get an offer to change clubs and go do the music club you wanted, you thought of going to both volleyball and music but the timings clashed often so you had no choice but to pick.

Volleyball or music?

Oh well, you can practice music at home and the weekends, it's not like you can see your crush at home or the weekends, right?

You kinda knew making decisions based off of a boy wasn't really good for you but even if you wouldn't admit it, you kinda liked playing manager.

You actually found it fun.

When you told the boys that you were staying as their manager, you were taken back by their cheer.

"We were worried that you'd leave us when you get the chance to join the music cub" Hinata said.

"Sure, we didn't get off too well in the beginning but we like having you around now" Suga smiled at you.

The others nodded their head and in that moment, you felt immense happiness wash over you, your face felt a little hot from the praise and you felt a little embarrassed.

"Thanks guys, I promise to get better at being a manager too. I still have a lot to learn."

At the end of practice, you were helping clean up along with your not so secret crush.

"You know Y/N, I hope you don't mind what the others say about you."

You look at him. "Say what?"

"About your looks. It doesn't matter what a person looks like as long as they are happy and healthy." He says, looking at you with a sincere expression.

"Oh that, don't worry, I'm basically immune to those childish name callings, but thank you anyway for looking out for me" You smiled at him.

As you both continued to talk, you didn't see the rest of the boys spying on you both through the windows, silently cheering you and your crush on. They all are VERY supportive of you both, even though they all suck ass at being cupid.

Nekoma

No one and I mean no one has ever thought of bad mouthing you.

You quite literally were the sweetest girl in the whole school, always having pure intentions. No one could ever hate you, you got along with everyone.

You heard the volleyball club was looking for a manager for a while now with no luck so you decided to give it a go.

"hello I'm-"

"Y/N!" A few of them called out, running over to you. You recognised nearly all of the members, you had spoken to them at some point during your time as school, even the ones that were not in your year. You knew the basics of volleyball since the school sometimes made you do that in your Physical Education class.

Yamamoto was all over the place, he could basically explode with how much joy he felt. His team finally got a manager. He was so going to boast about it to his friends outside of school.

What amazed you was how seriously the boys took the sport, you weren't all that much into sports or anything really, you struggled to find something to actually be that passionate about that could lead into a future career.

So you weren't able to understand but respected their dedication and efforts nonetheless.

You were really good and hyping the boys up and giving them motivation when they needed it, some of them became very fond of you.

Kenma would sometimes try to hide behind you whenever Kuroo would be scolding him, you would give kuroo a sweet smile and lie to his face saying "I haven't seen Kenma all day!"

Whenever lev would to the same, it wouldn't work out the same but you found it enduring still. You would let out a laugh before acting like insanely tall guy was actually able to hide perfectly behind you.

Yaku would often tut at you for playing along, saying that lev needs to learn but you keep taking the seriousness out of it.

"But he has gotten better though, hasn't he?" you would say back.

"Not enough!" yaku would reply back before huffing away.

Though despite you being all smiles and sunshines most of the time, you did have moments where you would get a bit serious.

During tournaments specifically, the boys were good, really good even but so were other teams.

When you get nervous you would become quite and have a serious frown on your face.

Kinda scared the boys a bit ngl-

lev would laugh tho.

Maybe kuroo too.

They find it cute more than scary okay?

You would give them a pep talk before their very first game, promising to buy them all ice cream if they come first place.

Though no one at your school has ever badmouthed you, that doesn't mean people from other schools wouldn't.

Since you were on the chubby side, you were prone to some bullying when you were younger, though in middle school it died down a lot. The boys never saw you differently because of your weight though, you were sweet and a really good manager to them so why wouldn't they adore you?

So when they would overhear people from other schools making fun of you just because of something as little as your weight, they didn't take it that lightly.

They would only stop yelling threats and curse words when their next match is about to start or the "bad mouther" runs away. Kuroo once nearly got a bit physical too.

You would then tell them to ignore that when it happens since there is not use wasting breath over people like that, it's not like you take what they say to heart anyway... well most of the time anyway.

But like always. the team refused to ever ignore anyone making fun of you.

It's almost like you have a bunch of protective brothers, they sometimes tease you but no one else can.

• You're at least partially a nerd or you're out of the game... I don't think Kenma could be with anyone who isn't at least somewhat interested in pop culture. He can talk about games for hours once he gets to know someone better and it would be difficult for a total layman to understand him.

• I also think Kozume would need someone to balance his shyness. He'd probably die next to an extrovert but if you are less afraid of people than he is, you can help him overcome it.

• You would have been good friends before you got into a relationship. The boy doesn't trust people right away. Maybe Kuroo would have to orbit around you two as an extra person at the beginning of your relationship.

• You would often play video games together. In the school corridor, Kenma would pull out the console or the two of you would play on your phones. Even if not in the same way, the most important thing is that you are together. In addition, there would be co-op sessions at home in various games. You can count on him if you can beat something. He will defeat any boss you can't handle and make it a point of honor. If you praise him, I guarantee you that his bangs will hide the blush on his face.

• You would give each other stupid nicknames online and on various social media platoforms. So much so that you would then also use them in real life. Profile matching from your favorite anime, game, series? Definitely.

• He likes volleyball more because of his friends than the sport itself. If you weren't crazy about it, he would definitely survive. It would probably be a while before he invited you to a game, unless you showed up to one before he did and surprised him. His nervousness is certain, so it better be any practice match, otherwise Nekoma could be in serious trouble. His focus would go out the window and it would be difficult for him to play.

• He has problems with self-esteem and what people think of him. Even after years, he wouldn't get used to getting compliments from you.

• After he started Bouncing Ball, not much would have changed. Maybe apart from the fact that he has quite a lot of money that he can spend on all sorts of merch. A room dedicated to gaming, giant figurines or a home theater? Your apartment will be full of various, not necessarily useful things. You have to stop him from spending money sometimes.

• In addition, he would become a little more open to people in the future. It's hard to be the head of a large company and avoid conversations. After hours, however, he would need to recharge his social battery. He would lie on the sofa, his head in your lap and enjoy the blissful and pleasant silence. Until Kuroo or Hinata dropped by unexpectedly and the day turned to be loud and unpredictable...

PART 1 - Captains

Sawamura Daichi:

I feel like Daichi would be unintentionally smooth! Like you would say something, anything, completely normal and he would respond with something that would leave you shocked and flustered.

~ You were sat upset and depressed, all your friends were going on dates and having fun and while you loved being the manager for the volleyball team, you would have liked the option to go be social, maybe go on a date yourself. ~ 'Yeah, like that would ever happen.' ~ "Even I wouldn't date me." You muttered, not noticing an amused captain standing behind you. ~ "Oh, well, your standards must be impossibly high then." He told you with a wink, leaving you with your lunch and a brand new face colour!

Oikawa Tooru:

Oikawa would use a pick up line that is a just an excuse to have you touch him in someway, he would definitely know a few, cause, you know, it's Oikawa!

~ Everyone on the team was doing great in practice today! ~ "Nice kill Iwa!" You called, he nodded, determined and returned to practice. ~ The only thing that would make them all better is if Oikawa left the locker room, he had got in on time, what was taking him so long? ~ You wandered over to the locker room, knocking on the door, "Oikawa, you've been a while, is everything okay?" You asked, curious, the door then opened. ~ Revealing a very shirtless Oikawa, holding his jersey and looking at you with a smile. ~ You turned away quickly, covering your eyes. ~ "(n/n)-chan! I'm glad you're here! My jersey feels weird, can you check it for me?" He asked, handing you his jersey that, to you, was very noticeably not on his body. ~ Confused, you did as he asked, taking his jersey and feeling the fabric, "It feels fine, why do you ask?" ~ He smiled and sighed, "Guess I'm just not used to it, got it made special, its made of boyfriend material!" He said cheerfully as he pulled it over his head. ~ Already blushing at being so dumb as to fall for that, your blush got worse as he gave you a kiss on the cheek and waved. ~ "See ya (n/n)-chan!"

Kuroo Tetsuro:

Obviously Kuroo would use chemistry pick up lines! There is no way in hell he wouldn't! I also feel like he would have definitely looked up said chemistry lines! Bonus: He would get super nervous about using them.

~ Kuroo was sat in chemistry class, waiting anxiously for you to show up, you were his lab partner and he loved hanging out with you, so why was he so nervous about a dumb pick up line. ~ His team knew that he liked you so during a game of Truth Or Dare, he chose dare and was now being forced to either tell you he liked you, which he was definitely not ready for yet, or tell you a pick up line without messing up. ~ They never told him he had to say it! He had written it down, now he was just waiting for you to show up. ~ He was hoping to give it two you before class started, hoping you might say something to him about it, but you came in just as class started, he was going to have to do it during the lesson. ~ He slid the paper over to you, watching in nervous agony as you opened it: ~ Are you Fluorine, Iodine and Neon, cause you're F I Ne! ~ You covered your mouth in a giggle, but he could see a blush on your cheeks, you turned the paper over, wrote something down and slid it back to him. ~ Are you made up of Copper and Tellurium, cause you're Cu Te! ~ Dammit, now he was blushing!

Kita Shinsuke:

Kita is someone who knows what he's doing, similar to Daichi, he would say something super smooth after you've said something. Just adding his line to a sentence and chuckling as he leaves you with a bright red face!

~ Being manager of the Inarizaki boys volleyball team wasn't easy, you had Suna wanting to sleep or on his phone constantly, the twins arguing, Aran trying to ignore them all and the others not really helping either, a lot was on your shoulders. ~ Kita was usually really helpful but he never wanted to step on your toes, he would usually wait until you asked for help. ~ You looked over your clipboard, you were so busy with equipment, water, helping with practice and then the official matches, you realised there was something you'd forgotten. ~ "Ugh! I forgot to look for a new manager!" You shouted, sitting down on the sidelines, huffing. ~ "I'm such garbage!" You cried, burying your face in your hands. ~ Kita walked up to you, patting your head and leaving you a juice box, "As someone who cares about the environment, I'm obligated to pick you up." He told you. ~ You looked up at him, "Huh?" You asked, tilting your head. ~ "Is seven okay?" He asked, a small smirk on his face, before walking off. ~ You were now burying your face in your hands to cover a massive blush!

Ushijima Wakatoshi:

I feel like Ushijima wouldn't use pick up lines but even if he did, he would only use them because his team told him to! But I feel like you would be the one to use a line on him, he would wind up confused and naturally go to his team!

~ Ushiwaka was sat with his lunch, Hayashi rice, when you came up to him out of the blue. ~ "Hey Toshi! Can I take a picture of you to prove to the team that angels exist?" You asked innocently with a soft smile on your face. ~ Naturally, Ushiwaka was confused, he, of course, let you take a picture, you were the one asking, but he wasn't an angel, he was a human, a human male! ~ The next time you came up to him was at practice that evening. ~ "Toshi! Make sure you tie your shoelaces properly! I don't want you falling for anyone else!" You said with a wink, walking away to get the teams water ready for their first break. ~ Looking down at his shoelaces in confusion, why would he fall for someone, if he fell it wasn't on purpose… ~ He heard Tendou and Semi snickering in the corner of the gym, "What? What's so funny?" He asked, his regular monotone. ~ Tendou walked over to him and clapped a hand on his shoulder, "She likes you Ushiwaka! She's using something called, pick up lines!" ~ After a conversation about what pick up lines were and finishing practice, Ushiwaka came over to you, who was getting ready to leave. ~ "Hiya Toshi! Your hand looks heavy, you want me to hold it?" You asked with a sly smile. ~ "Yes, please." Ushiwaka said stoically, taking your hand in his.

Bokuto Kotaro:

Bokuto would give you the most adorable, sickly sweet pick up lines he could find, either online or from his friends. I feel like he would get too flustered or embarrassed using an overly sexual line, or anything remotely suggestive.

~ Bokuto had a massive crush on you, you were his first choice for manager, he even convinced everyone else on the team to bring you on as well! ~ This was the perfect opportunity to get close to you! ~ But it wasn't going to well… ~ Every time he tried to talk to you, but he wound up stumbling over his words and then you'd get called away, he'd wind up a little droopy. ~ He didn't give up though! He kept it going, he would work up the confidence and just say, hi! That was such an improvement. ~ By the end of the month, the two of you were having full blown conversations, so he thought he could slip in a pick up line that he had found online a while ago. ~ "You know, I thought diamonds were the prettiest thing in the world, until I met you!" He cheered, you were smiling at him and ready to respond, but he unfortunately got too nervous. ~ "What!? Yeah Akaashi I'll be right there!"

Hey guys!!!! It’s my first post so decided to make it about any character you want. Hope you enjoy

warning: non just pure young love

Word count: 321 words

 “Ok let’s play 20 questions!” 

You exclaim

“ Y/N, I’m trying to finish my work”

he says with an exasperated sigh

“ oh cmon it won’t take long!”

“Fine, ask me your questions.”

“ OK!! Have you ever broken someone’s heart?”

“ Yeah no I’m done playing.”

“ No wait I’m sorry please. Just answer the question.”

He sighs and looks up from his paper

“ No, I have not broken someone’s heart. Or not that I know of.”

“Boring.”

“Fine! Let me ask you a question. Have you ever been in love?”

You freeze. There is no way he knows. Are you that obvious?

Finally, after a few long seconds, you reply. 

“Yes. In fact, I still am.”

That caught him off guard. Suddenly he sits up straighter, trying to hide the obvious look in his eyes. Was it jealousy?

“Oh. Interesting.” 

He lowered his head and seemed very interested in his assignment.

“ ok. Have YOU ever been in love?”

He shakes his head

“ Dosn’t matter. She likes someone else.”

After a few long minutes, he sighs and starts packing his things into his bag. 

“ I need to go. I have practice soon.”

He gets up and hastily walks to the door. Before he can leave the room you stand up abruptly and state, 

“ it’s you. I am in love with you!”

He freezes and slowly turns around.

You make eye contact and see his facial expression soften.

“Oh. Well I like you too.”

He turns around and slowly walks out of the room. 

A few seconds later you hear the same guy do a loud cheer in the hallway, causing you to softly chuckle.

Atsumu Miya - Gift Giving

Loves to spoil you, he gets paid veerry well and he often reminds you of that with gifts.

It makes him happy to buy you things that you like.

He’s definitely a provider and it makes him feel good that he’s in a position to look after you without any money worries.

But he also knows how much you love handmade things so he watches videos, trying to learn how to make certain things that he can give to you.

“Sooo, I know you said no more-”

“Tsumu!”

“I know, I know, butttt hear me out-” He says as he hands you what has to be the 30th bracelet this year. “This one is prettier. I got better at the patterns and bought some cute little charms to put on it too. And it’ll suit you so well!” Grinning as you let him put the bracelet on you.

“I swear I’ll move on from bracelets.” He laughs a little as he looks down at it before pressing a kiss to the top of your head, “Maybe I’ll get you a certain ring next.” He jokes. He’s dead serious.

Tōru Oikawa - Physical Touch

I think he’s naturally physically affectionate.

Chilling on the sofa? He’ll pull you onto his lap and cuddle you.

Walking down the street? His hand naturally gravitates to yours.

Laying in bed? He’ll hold you close to him and play with your hair until you fall asleep.

He’s better at showing his love through touch. Claims there’s no words good enough to explain his feelings and his heartbeat conveys it more.

He arrives home one morning after several away games, smiling as he sees you laying on his side of the bed.

Oikawa climbs on top of you and begins peppering kisses across your face, laughing as you wake up. You smile as you wrap your arms around him, “Missed you.”

He just wraps his arms around you tightly, burying his face against you and breathing in your scent as his heartbeat syncs up with yours. He doesn't need words to let you know he missed you too.

Osamu Miya - Acts of Service

Do I really need to elaborate?

This man will cook everything and anything for you.

He loves taking care of you and making sure you’re fed.

Makes his heart swell with so much love when he makes you food and sees how much you enjoy eating it.

Bonus: quality time (imagine how happy he’d be teaching you recipes and cooking with you???)

Wakes you up with a nice breakfast in bed that you absolutely devour.

"Is it nice?" He asks softly, glad that you appear to be liking it anyway.

"You know you don't need to ask that, your food is a gift from heaven." You beam as you lean forward to give him a quick kiss.

"Well I'm just pleased that my food makes you so happy." He smiles as he feeds you some fruit.

Kei Tsukishima - Quality Time

Not the best with sweet words. He tries but he's just better at showing love in other ways.

Always keeps up to date with your hobbies, researching them if he’s not familiar with it.

Takes part in your hobbies whenever he can, and even if he can't, appreciates watching you.

He loves spending time with you even if it's just silently watching tv together.

“So what’s going on in your book?” He asks as he joins you on the sofa.

“It’s long.”

“I don’t mind, I don’t have anywhere to be. Or if you’re too into it to ramble right now, you can just read to me.”

He relaxes on the sofa with you as he pulls your legs onto his lap, resting his head against a cushion as he listens to you, watching you lovingly as he tries to catch up with the plot.

Keiji Akaashi - Words of Affirmation

This man is so sweet. + emotionally intelligent >>>

Reassures you and praises you so much.

Definitely very vocal about his love for you. Always says that life's too short not to remind you how much he loves you.

It’s like second nature to him, the words just spill from his lips so easily with you.

"Am I not allowed to call my partner when I’m on my lunch break?" He teases as he relaxes in his desk chair, eating his lunch that you had made him.

"You know I love it when you do but you don't need to, you can just enjoy your lunch."

"Well I enjoy my lunch more when you're on the phone. Besides I wanted to thank you for my amazing food. And to add that I love you and I'm proud of you." He says warmly.

“Well I'm glad you like my cooking. But proud? For what? I haven’t done anything today, really.” you can't help but laugh a little.

“For everything…I don’t need a specific reason to be proud of you, I just am.” and Akaashi doesn’t need to see your face to know you’re blushing.

Inarizaki and shiratorizawa (or one of them) with a fem manager that gets into fights often? But it's because they have roots to delinquent family members so they're pretty recognisable,,, also she kicks ass pretty good so most of the time she comes out alive

When you first signed up to be the manager for the boy's volleyball team, you really didn't think much of it. You only signed up because your parents wanted you to go to some sort of after school club.

You didn't like any of the clubs so you decided to be a manager for a sports team. Besides, you didn't think a manager would have to do much since most of the organisation for matches would be done by the teachers and coaches.

So here you are on your first day being introduced to the boys in the team.

Inarizaki

You stood before them with a deadpan face on.

"Hey, I'm Y/n L/n and I'll be your manager from today onwards."

They boys bowed and said their greetings but you still felt like some of them were looking at you funny. So you looked at one, he had bleached yellow hair. (Atsumu Miya)

"What?"

He tilted his head up and looked down at you suspiciously.

"Are you the Y/n L/n who got into a fight with Hiroto Ito a week ago?"

"Yeah, why? You looking for a fight too?"

Another boy came forward, he was slightly shorter but still a few inches taller than you with with black spikes for hair that went upwards. (Michinari Akagi)

"It was about time someone put that guy in his place. He was actually really annoying, would never let us practice in peace."

To your surprise, this boys were actually pretty nice to you and as you watched them practice you saw the passion they had for the sport.

Almost made you feel guilty for signing up for this role when you knew nothing about Volleyball.

You would hand out water bottles and towels during their breaks and tried your best to memories their names. Took you a few days to do that though.

Over the next few weeks, you ended up growing fond of the team and the team members which lead you to put more effort in your role as the manager.

You would take notes about each player, their strengths and weaknesses and you took time out of your day to learn the rules for volleyball. You didn't even realise when but your passion for the sport grew and grew.

Soon even the team members saw the improvement in you and grew fond of you as their manager. They hadn't ever had one before you and you were already setting their standard for a manager pretty high.

Soon you would even tease and joke around with them.

Their coach loved having you around for practice since the boys were actually kinda scared of you whenever they would mess up and made them try their very best each practice.

There was a time where they had a competition to go to where there would be a few other schools' volleyball teams attending too. It was your first match that you would be attending with them as their manager. Since it was your first, you didn't actually know how big the team's cheer squad was, which surprised you a bit when you first saw. There was also a crowd everywhere you went so it made it hard to move and get from one place to another.

However, around 15 minutes before matches you realised that Kita was missing for more than 10 minutes. The team can't play without their captain present. So you went to go quickly find him. After a few minutes you found him about to enter the changing rooms.

"Where were you? The team was waiting for you." You asked him.

"I had my phone on me and I was going to put it in a locker before the matches start." He put his phone up to show you. Before you or him could say anymore, someone from the crowd passing by with a hooded face snachted his phone and ran.

"Go back to the team. Go!" You pushed him in the direction to the entrance of the sports hall and then ran after the hooded face.

The guy ran down the streets and into an ally way which lead to a dead end. He turned around you saw that he was wearing a mask as well.

"Heh, what's a little girl like you gonna do huh?" The guy's voice came out a little muffled from his mask.

"A lot."

Safe to say you managed to beat his ass with the new moves your uncles had taught you. Though you did get a few scratches on your face and knuckles but you got Kita's phone back and the hooded guy seemed pretty beat up.

Running back to the competition, you just hoped Kita hadn't worried too much to mess up his performance. By the time you got back and made it to the coaches side, you saw that your team was already playing their first match.

At some point, Kita met your eyes and you gave him a toothy grin and a thumbs up while holding his phone in your other hand. He smiled back before focusing back on the game.

When they had a break in between the match, you handed out water bottles. When you gave one to Kita, he saw the scratches on your face.

"Did you get into a fight?"

"No, drink your water and don't worry, you're phone is in perfect condition."

"You got hurt though." When he said that, a few of the other team members turned around to check on you.

"Damn miss manager, you really shouldn't be kicking ass while your team is out here playing a match." Atsumu teased. He didn't know you chased a guy down an ally who stole his captain's phone.

"You know you should be careful or she might just kick your ass Atsumu." Osamu told him, sending you a smile before him and his brother began to bicker.

You shooed them all away once the break was over while rolling your eyes at their teasing remarks.

You had a small smile as you watched them play and you felt like this wouldn't be the first time you would get into a fight for them but you really couldn't care. They can repay you by getting first place.

Shiratorizawa

"I'm Y/n L/n and I'll be your manager from today forwards."

You were there at every practice they had, they would see you taking notes and giving out water bottles. You learned all their names and positions within 3 days. You were doing everything one would expect a manager to do and you would do it flawlessly.

Which actually surprised them since you were known throughout the school to get into fights with other students both in your school and from other schools.

However, not long since you began being their manager, you once came to practice late with some bruises on your hands and a rather sour mood.

Tendo asked you about it but you just shooed him away to practice more, even hitting him with your clipboard.

Another time, you came to practice with your hair a bit messy and a busted lip that had been poorly treated. Though luckily that time the coach wasn't there to report it to another teacher and Eita Semi and Kenjiro Shirabu dragged you to the infirmary to get it treated properly.

Once, you came to practice after a fight which you personally found very easy to finish. You didn't get any big, obvious injuries so to the other team members, they thought you hadn't came back from a fight and continued practice like usual.

But the captain knew otherwise. When he came over to the side to get a drink he walked over to you.

"So, who did you fight with today?"

"Huh, how did you know?"

"I'm an excellent observer."

"Uhh sure, well it wasn't anything too bad. So don't worry about me."

He chuckled.

"I'm not worried about you, I'm worried about the kid you beat up. Wonder what condition he is in right now."

"Gee captain, thanks for caring about your manager so much."

You both laughed before you fell silent.

"The bastard wouldn't quit saying nonsense about the team and starting up rumours." You told him.

"Aw, so you do care about us!" Tendo popped up on the other side of you.

"Fuck tendo! You scared me, I nearly punched you."

He laughed and put an arm around you.

"You beating up guys who talk shit about us? How thoughtful of you manager."

"Tendo do you want me to beat you up with my clipboard again?"

"Hehe, it's like we have our own personal bodyguard."

You smacked him with your clipboard.

"ow! Okay, okay, I'll stop. Gonna go practice some more. Talk to ya later miss bodyguard- I mean manager."

"Tendo!"

The other team members looked over at you and Tendo and were either laughing or sighing. "Looks like he is gonna get his ass beat again."

"He really should stop riling her up, she is actually kinda scary."

"Yeah but tendo is another breed, he isn't afraid."

Toru Oikawa headcanons

• Relationship with Toru would be a bumpy and winding road, one that is sometimes nice and pleasant and then turns around and leads you through the worst forest you have ever seen in your life. I think Oikawa would fall in love with someone who blew his mind with their indifference towards him. It doesn't matter if you were a childhood friend or someone he happened to meet at highschool. It would be important for him whether you don't treat him like his fans do.

• Winning the hearts of the girls he could have easily wouldn't be a challenge at all. And the best things always require effort and work. He follows this philosophy in volleyball and it would be no different in the case of love.

• You can hit him on the shoulder and in the head with books for every stupid comment but if he sets his sights on you, you can be sure that he won't give up. A relationship with him would consist of flirtations that you wouldn't take seriously and rare, serious moments when you would feel that what he was saying was sincere and came from the heart. Of course, someone or something would always have to interrupt you.

• Have you styled your hair? He will destroy it. Is this a new hair tie? Now it's his, he'll keep it for good luck. Who gave him permission? He gave it to himself. Same case with casually adding -chan to your name...

• Hajime would be the greatest wingman in your relationship. For a long time he would say that Toru needs to take care of himself because he doesn't deserve you but eventually he would realize that you couldn't live without each other. He wouldn't push either of you to confess but he would certainly discreetly try to give you as much time alone as possible. And it's not easy to find excuses for so many Aobajosai members...

• Toru knows what he wants. And although you would have to wait to hear it in a serious and mature way, it would have been worth it. He would go for a walk with you somewhere on the boulevards, by the water with a nice view. Surrounded by the dim, night lights, he would tell you how he felt. And these would be sincere words. Different from those that he feeds many people on a daily basis. Thoughtful and adequate as always but not superficial, hidden in the depths of his mind when he thinks about your smile in his free time.

• Oikawa likes it when you take off his glasses and then kiss him. He jokes that it's a bit like a scene from a movie. And it's even better when your friends are watching. Let them be consumed by jealousy. One time Kageyama asked you if you were sure you knew what you were getting into.

• Half of the serves since you became a couple are dedicated to you. At training, in high school, he will shout about it loudly, as long as you are anywhere nearby. In more serious matches, when he got into the Argentine national team, he simply put two fingers to his lips and blew a kiss towards the audience. Half the fans were dying of delight before they finally realized you were in the bleachers.

• Sometimes it's hard to balance a career as a professional setter with daily responsibilities. You travel with Toru but for most part, your relationship is a long-distance type. You talk a lot on the phone and on video calls. You get as many discounts on airlines as possible to see each other as often as you can.

How You Two Sleep - Haikyuu

PART 1 - Captains

Daichi Sawamura:

Daichi has always been busy, both as captain of his team and again when he became a police officer, so when he comes home to you, he is relieved when he gets to cuddle up with you and finally get some rest!

~ Coming in through the door, Daichi let out a sigh, a mixture of relief and exhaustion. ~ He smiled at you, looking comfortable and downright cute in pyjamas and sleeping happily wrapped up in the covers. ~ After a quick shower, he too changed out of his uniform and jumped into bed with you. ~ Like you had sensed it, you turned in bed to face him, burying your face in his chest, Daichi wrapping his arms around you instantly. ~ Daichi always felt the most comfortable when you were safe in his arms, preferring that to any other position, he didn't mind too much when his arm went dead or that sometimes you got extremely warm, he was always the most secure with you wrapped up cosy in his arms.

Kuroo Tetsuro:

I feel like Tetsuro has a lot of pressure on him, trying to maintain his team, as well as his grades and then of course, keeping Kenma healthy, so he deserves the comfort having someone to come home to and snuggle with.

~ Tetsuro goes to your house on Friday after practice, preferring to stay with you and your family over the weekend rather than his own. ~ He adores you and loves your family, so when he gets their a little after seven on the Friday, he couldn't help but relax his muscles when he smelled dinner being cooked, finding you standing over the stove. ~ He said hello to your family, letting them know he was home, before coming up behind you, hugging you from behind and resting his chin on your shoulder, immediately calm. ~ Once dinner was done, the two of you watched some movies with your family before heading up to bed, your parents trusted Tetsuro to sleep in your room and actually sleep. ~ Settling into bed, Tetsu got into the perfect position, his sleeping position developed over months of being with you. ~ You had gotten comfortable on your back, Tetsuro sinking serene on top of you, his head on your chest and his hands slightly under your shirt and rested on your hips. ~ Tetsu fell asleep in the span of half an hour, breathing a sigh of relief knowing this was just the start of a peaceful weekend.

Oikawa Tooru:

I can't see Tooru being happy with one comfortable sleeping position, he'd be happy with many but would be ecstatic with all of them! This is Oikawa Tooru! He isn't happy with just one way of loving on you!

~ When Tooru was sick of studying, he was cuddling your waist with his head on your lap. ~ When he was taking a break from practice, he had a hand on your hip, pulling you into his side. ~ When you were sleeping, he didn't really prefer one way of cuddling over another, it sort of depended on the day. ~ Sometimes he preferred spooning, either being the big spoon or the little one. Sometimes he liked you on his chest or himself on yours. Sometimes he preferred having his own space but still having some contact with you, like a hand on your waist or holding yours. ~ That night in particular, he had his head on your stomach, his hands gently resting on your thighs, your hands on his back and in his hair. ~ He could officially die a happy man.

Bokuto Kotaro:

Kotaro seems like a pretty easy one, like Tooru, he just likes being near you, touching you, talking to you, looking at you, etc. He just loves you so much!!!

~ Kotaro loves being around you, whenever he is, he can't help himself! You're just so cute! ~ Whether you're in public or at home, he wants to be cuddling you. ~ With how tall and broad he is, he loves how small you seem against him, so he loves having you in his arms, his lap or against his chest. ~ If you with him during practice, he'll sit with you in his lap in the bleachers, loving that he can just dip his head to kiss you. ~ But when you're sleeping, he loves being the big spoon, wrapping you up in his strong arms and nuzzling his nose into your neck, breathing in your sweet smell and leaving kisses easily on your cheek and forehead.

Kita Shinsuke:

Shinsuke doesn't seem the PDA type, but I feel like he'd be all about physical affection behind closed doors. He's all about making people feel cared for, he's a good captain and a good grandson, so he'd make a wonderful boyfriend!

~ Shinsuke was so lucky to have someone like you, someone to understand his side of things, to be okay with the fact that he couldn't always be the affectionate boyfriend, especially in public. ~ He believed that loving gestures like cuddles and kisses should be reserved for being behind closed doors, it made it more special. ~ One thing was for sure, though it happened rarely, he loved cuddling with you. Whilst most of the time, when you were both sleeping, he would probably cuddle you for a while, loving the feeling of your head on his shoulder and you in turn, the feeling of his heartbeat. ~ Once you'd fallen asleep though, he'd shift slightly, making sure you were out enough for him to move you, he would lay you on your side, still holding you hand and would spend the time it takes him to fall asleep, staring at you and fiddling with your hair.

Ushijima Wakatoshi

Like Kita, I highly doubt Toshi would be the affectionate type, both in public and out of. Maybe a kiss on the cheek and hand-holding at best around others…

~ There was no questioning that Ushiwaka was completely smitten with you, you were the only person he really let himself go around. ~ He loved you desperately, hoping that he could be enough to keep this relationship (the only one he'd been in) successful. ~ He was lucky enough to be welcomed into your family, they trusted him enough to sleep over without any funny business occurring, most of your family believed he was too much of a social ostrich to do anything unsavoury. ~ Toshi did love cuddling you, especially when you were sleepy, he usually stayed up a bit later than you. ~ He would be sat up in bed, you straddling his lap with your hands softly gripping his shirt and your head on his shoulder, soft puffs of breath leaving your lips as Toshi ran a hand up and down your back. ~ He loved the feeling of your body against his, in the completely innocent way you did before bed, he loved feeling close to you!
