Since I can talk about this now: Making the Owlboy team playable in Savant Ascent Remix has allowed me to render the characters in much more detail than I could in Owlboy. Otus is now over twice as big and actually looks like his official artwork!

It's pretty surreal to come back to this sprite almost 17 years after I made it. When I created the original sprite, the character design wasn't even completely final, so doing a 1 to 1 upgrade feels really refreshing!

Everything about Vergil is incredibly romantic, OF COURSE HE BEAT THE VIRGIN ALLEGATIONS.

He loves string quartets and poetry. Before anything leaves his mouth, he has already carefully mulled over how to articulate his thoughts. He styles his hair, cleans his face every night, and trims and files his nails. How he dresses...nearly too fancy for every-day tasks.

Above all else, he is a gentleman. "Oh he killed people"....okay...he spent two hours getting ready to do that so please respect him.

In fairness to Dean just sitting there listening to his brother try to explain why a vision of someone who tortured him so badly he came back psychotic and traumatised "touched" him BUT it made him feel "calm" so obviously that's proof that Sam needs to See Lucifer Again like how do you even argue with that.

Taking care of three turtle tots is hard and Aster always needed to have an eye on them so he was quickly there when something happened.

And when Asha cried, he was immediately on her side. Though it was nerve wrecking for him to calm her down. Never an easy task.

He learned over the time that singing was the most efficent way to calm Asha down, even when he's not the best singer.

Fun fact: Indian spotted pond turtle have many yellow spots as hatchlings, that slowly disappear the older they get.

Very slightly obsessed with Fukuzawa switching from Ore to Watashi after founding the agency. He has become soft^tm. Yes I know it's because he's everybody's boss BUT he even used it when he told Ranpo he knew who he was in chapter 79. He has adopted the Watashi. Watashi is part of him now. This means nothing don't read into it I just think it's cute.

"Excuse me?" Jazz's voice echoes in the meeting room in space. She gains the attention of the heroes immediately and sees them tensing up in at her appearance.

Behind her, he swirling green portal is open, waiting for her to return.

A blond, coat wearing man, curses upon seeing her and gives a half bow. "Princess Jasmine," he speaks up, eye twitching.

"What brings you here?"

At the greeting and reveal of her title, few others fall into bows, the lady at the head of the table, wonder woman?, gives her a smile.

Her eyes pin the green skinned man to his seat, who in return tilts his head at her.

"My brothers birthday is soon," she focuses on the man again. "I'm simply here for a present."

The man tenses, another curse slipping. "Ah– king phantom, right? I wasn't aware his birthday would be so soon."

Jazz ignores him, calmly walking to the Martian and placing a picture of Mars before him.

"The tales of your people have brought much interest to my brother. He became a big fan." She tells, sharing her intentions at his light poking.

"I ask for a signature, it would make his day."

Martian Manhunter, alien hero, and once upon a time, a father even smiles. He's delighted yet feeling a deep-rooted sadness. The tales of his people continue to spread in the afterlife, it seems.

Jazz leaves quickly after, not before giving Diana a number, they are cousins after all.

Danny will love her present.

you know that thing people do whenever they get so pissed off that they laugh? i'm convinced percy has 100% done that at least once. maybe a camper said the wrong thing about someone he cares about, and his gut reaction is to hurt them. but he knows he shouldn't do that. so he just laughs for a few seconds, leave his sword on the table, and spends the rest of the day in the camp lake.
