A SVSSS fic I want to write one day is Airplane and Shen Yuan being ejected from the System and sent back to the mundane world, but with the difference that Shen Yuan's 'edits' to the story have been retroactively applied to PiDW and as a result it's gone from 'top story in a hyper specific web culture niche' to 'international sensation with a Netflix adaption in the works'.

Keyly, PiDW is still told largely from the PoV of Luo Binghe- so neither he nor the audience is at all aware that it's now Isekai story. Instead it's billed as this heady romantic drama about prejudice, the passage of time, and redemption- where a big part of the appeal is trying to piece together the otherwise enigmatic Shen Qingqiu's motives.

Was he harsh on Binghe initially because of he sensed/knew about Binghe's demon heritage (as it's now possible to find hints that he may have in fact known all along)? Or because he saw Binghe's potential and wanted to do the tough-love training thing? Or was it because he was trying to chase Binghe away from Cultivation because he knew it would lead Binghe to misery one day? Did he throw Binghe into the Abyss because he was genuinely shocked and disgusted by the Demon reveal? Or because he knew Binghe would be killed if he stayed and he was trying to 'protect' him? Or was it because he genuinely wanted Binghe to fulfill his demon Emperor destiny and thought a clean break would do it? The fandom has no idea but lovvvvvves arguing about it.

This all leads to things coming full circle, as Cucumber, sounding like an absolute insane person, is left to rant online about how the obvious answer is that Shen Qingqiu was Isekai'd earlier in the story and replaced by a completely different person- a theory which is mocked to the point of memery, and leads to Cucumber being dunked on endlessly, no matter how much evidence he brings up or how many essays he writes.

Ghost Fangs

After so much time changing between forms, Danny thought that he would no longer have external changes. His human and ghost forms were a bit more combined than when he was a teenager but it wasn't as much of a problem for him now that ghosts weren't actively trying to wipe out humanity and his parents had more or less accepted him.

The problem was when he started his internship at Wayne Enterprises and his teeth started to hurt. He didn't pay much attention to it at first since maybe he should visit Frostbite or some normal dentist. Cavities were pretty common when you ate fast food growing up.

The problem was when three days after the pain started, one of his teeth fell out. That didn't make much sense since the halfa had shed his baby teeth long time ago, and those were supposed to be "permanent".

He decided not to smile and continue working, avoiding anyone that could notice the change but the hole in his teeth was obvious when he looked in the mirror. Then another tooth fell, and he felt his gums itch. Something was beginning to grow.

That was how Danny started changing his teeth into ghost fangs at the worst possible time. Worst of all, he was sure he was growing a third, maybe fourth row of fangs, and fuck how was he going to hide it from his bosses?

He couldn't pretend that he was mute! What if a tooth fell out during work and someone found it? It was a nightmare!

colonel!König whose resolve breaks once he catches on to the fact that the other recruits have started bullying you too. he freaks out on all of them and makes them run until they’ve all thrown their guts up. only he is allowed to make fun of you.

colonel!König who can feel his pants getting harder as he stares at your small—trembling frame—sniffling in front of him. you’re thanking him for taking care of the other rookies but all he can think about is how badly he wants to make you tear up even more. :(

ok but this post got me thinking... their demon forms can come out when they get extremely happy as well? that's so cute!! imagine coming back to the house of lamentation after some time (nightbringer, a few weeks, going to the store for 10 minutes, etc) and once your demon boys see you they get all excited and go into their demon forms as they get up to hug you
