Ghost Fangs

After so much time changing between forms, Danny thought that he would no longer have external changes. His human and ghost forms were a bit more combined than when he was a teenager but it wasn't as much of a problem for him now that ghosts weren't actively trying to wipe out humanity and his parents had more or less accepted him.

The problem was when he started his internship at Wayne Enterprises and his teeth started to hurt. He didn't pay much attention to it at first since maybe he should visit Frostbite or some normal dentist. Cavities were pretty common when you ate fast food growing up.

The problem was when three days after the pain started, one of his teeth fell out. That didn't make much sense since the halfa had shed his baby teeth long time ago, and those were supposed to be "permanent".

He decided not to smile and continue working, avoiding anyone that could notice the change but the hole in his teeth was obvious when he looked in the mirror. Then another tooth fell, and he felt his gums itch. Something was beginning to grow.

That was how Danny started changing his teeth into ghost fangs at the worst possible time. Worst of all, he was sure he was growing a third, maybe fourth row of fangs, and fuck how was he going to hide it from his bosses?

He couldn't pretend that he was mute! What if a tooth fell out during work and someone found it? It was a nightmare!

i just keep thinking about harley getting to know the truth about why peter is alone and finding out why people don't remember him and for a moment thinking he's glad he got to meet him after everything went down and immediately feel guilt and shame because its not fair peter went through so much pain and had to leave everyone he knew behind but,,,, just thinking about meeting each other before and getting to know peter and then completely forget him makes his feel sick

okay silly fic ideia but hear me out okok so.

halloween night at the garrison right? so theres a party and obviously lance goes, all dressed up because he takes halloween super seriously (as he should)

lance kisses some masked boy at the party, and, while having a whole Gay Crisis he just. freaks out and introduces himself as taylor. panicking and totally in the Nile about it, lance buries the memories of the night DEEP in his mind and tries very very hard not to think about it.

cue keith, months later stuck in space with lance wondering while he feels so familiar and chalks it up to them maybe going to the same class at the garrison but feeling weird about it.

Then. one day. pidge makes an offhand remark making fun of lance's " call me the taylor 😏" shtick and keith is suddenly reminded of that one time shiro forced him to go and socialize at a halloween party during his garrison years and he kissed a boy who's name was taylor and now suddenly he realizes why lance is so goddamn familiar- (!!!)

shenanigans ensue. (i swear if i find any free time to write this in the next few weeks i will try but. alas im not sure it will happen so im just putting this out there)

Why does aziraphale tells crowley he forgives him??? I literally just finished it and its driving me insane

that's a hell of a question. there are a few different answers, and i think a lot was going on in aziraphale's head at that particular moment, but this is what I took from it:

-this is a dance aziraphale and crowley have been doing for a long time.

there's some sort of moral conflict. aziraphale repeats heaven's party line. crowley asks a bunch of uncomfortable questions. aziraphale doubles down. crowley calls him an idiot. aziraphale forgives him. crowley storms away. pretty much half of their relationship is built on these kinds of destructive patterns at this point--of course they'd fall back into it during the worst fight they've ever had.

-aziraphale is angry.

he's heartbroken, and he doesn't understand why crowley has decided to abandon him in what should be (from his perspective) the happiest moment of their lives since the fall. he's lashing out, and intentionally hurting crowley in the same way he's been hurt. he's not stupid, no matter how much miscommunication is happening in this scene--telling someone "i forgive you" after they've kissed you is going to hurt, and he knows that.

this reading comes mostly from michael's performance. several people have noted that in the moments immediately after the kiss, aziraphale says "I l--" and then cuts himself off. then he goes on a Michael Sheen Face Journey TM and ends up angry, and that's when we get "I forgive you." whatever else is going on with aziraphale in this moment, he's pissed.

-forgiveness is what aziraphale does.

in aziraphale's very first (modern day) scene of the season, we learn that forgiveness is "one of his favorite things." he forgives maggie's rent, and he forgives gabriel enough to shelter him from heaven and hell while he's vulnerable. it's an instinct for aziraphale, for better or worse, whether it's because it's something he thinks he SHOULD do or something intrinsic to him as a person who desperately wants to do good. occasionally, it's even something he does for his own gain. (see: forgiving maggie was a kind action, but he himself admits that part of his motivation was that she always knows how to find his music.) it makes sense that he would fall back on forgiveness as a framework for understanding a mess of complicated and painful emotions. it makes him feel better, forgiving people, and he needs the comfort of that here.

-he means it.

he forgives crowley for saying no. he forgives crowley for breaking his heart. he forgives crowley for always asking 'damn fool' questions. he forgives crowley for kissing him at the worst possible time. he forgives crowley for falling. he forgives crowley for making him doubt. he forgives crowley for being kind, and clever, and ridiculous, and special, and someone he couldn't help but fall in love with, no matter how much it hurts them both.

and unfortunately, forgiveness is the one thing that will always make crowley walk away.

Every time i remember this emotional scene where Alberu was opening up to Cale about this dumb prophecy and his insecurity of "Can i actually be a king", letting himself be vulnerable and sincere because he truly trusts this crazy bastard

it makes me wanna scream because of how after all of this Cale just casually drops on Alberu "Oh, hyung-nim, you knew that your ancestor was a criminal?"

And I'm simply 😭😭😭 my guy, this isn't the moment, please read the room!!

I was so heartbroken in the process of this misunderstanding... Yeah, it was fastly resolved but still!!

Was nearly bawling on Alberu's inner monologue of "I thought he was different..."
