DP x DC Prompt #30
Dick had seen how excited Damian was for his upcoming birthday party. Damian put on a front that he didn't really care that much, this it was childish to celebrate one's birthday party on such a grand scale. But Damian had also insisted on being involved in the process. Which decorations were allowed, what music to play, the food, the entertainment, all of it.
Damian pretended to not care about it, but it was clear as day to Dick that he did.
The day arrived, and at first no one showed up on time. They didn't even have the usual, "Oh sorry for being 1 hour early, but wanted to make sure I got here on time!" guests that they often did. Damian was clearly disappointed, but patient. Especially when Dick forced everyone to distract Damian and start some of the birthday celebration.
But then an hour passed. Then another. And soon it was pretty clear that no one Damian had invited from his school were going to appear. Damian pretended it didn't bother him, brushed it off as, "Hey, no big deal."
Yet, Dick saw the tears in his eyes.
So, while Bruce did his best to distract his son, rage in the way he held himself, Dick excused himself. Sneaking away from prying ears, Dick called the first number he could think of.
"Hey Boy Wonder, what can-"
"Danny, I need you to come by the Manor. No one showed up to Damian's party, and he's upset. There's plenty of food."
The line was silent.
"How many people can I bring?"

Trigger Warning: blades, mild torture, injuries, and what amounts to suicidal thoughts and actions (he lives at the end but he does need a hell of a lot of therapy)
Tim shudders, as best he can while bleeding and bruised and broken.
The Red Hood is above him, mechanical voice melding into the raspy deeper tones of an Older Jason Todd. His voice is hollow and cruel as he digs his blade into Tim’s flesh. It hurts. But, Tim thinks dazedly, having Robin, Tim’s Robin, hating Tim hurts worse.
“Wow, Replacement, no last words for the person you stole everything away from?”
Jason’s mocking him.
“Okay.”
“What’s that, Replacement?”
Tim is so incredibly tired. And the blade held to his neck is starting to look like comfort. Tim thinks-
“My last words. You- You want to hear it?”
His hero’s face tilts, green eyes sparking something deep within Tim’s memory. But he’s so tired.
“Sure, let’s see what kind of recruitment pitch you’ve got for me, Replacement.”
Cruel. So cruel. Mocking him with false warmth. But false warmth is better than the coldness of Drake manor, the coldness of Bruce’s grieving form or Dick’s smile, sometimes when he thinks Tim’s not looking.
Ah, Tim knew it. His Robin will always be better than any other heroes, even if the false warmth makes his heart hurt worse than the broken ribs he’s now sporting. That Hood is pressing a knee down on to keep him immobile. Not that Tim could move anywhere considering both of his legs are broken. Tim wonders what it is about him that makes it impossible for people to muster up warmth towards.
“Do you know why… why heroes are so… so loved?” He wheezes out. He doesn’t wait for a response from Hood. “It’s because… they choose good- they choose to better the world- to save people, even if… even if they weren’t saved themselves. No matter how much- the obstacles, there’s always, an obstacle. But they try anyways.” Tim has to wrap this up. He’s losing coherency. “It’s why… it’s why this is okay. You… you’re choosing to save… to save Gotham from the Joker. Ev’n if you weren’t saved yourself. You’re not… good. You kill.”
Red Hood- Jason, snarls. Tim, blinking slowly, admires the man’s green eyes. “That’s fucking right-”
“But, you can be. Y’re helping.” And because this is important, because Tim has an alter set up to mourn Jason, “You were my hero,” Tim says, and Jason stops short, expression blanking. “So. I’ll help- help remove an obstacle so… so you can keep helping. Helping people like… like me. Or, not like me. Something.”
With that, Tim summons the rest of his strength and presses his neck towards the blade, starting the process to slit his own throat.
Jason flings the knife away, expression crumbling in horror as he stares down at the child he just tortured.
And as Tim’s voice fades, as blood spills out of his neck, as Tim gives him time to retrieve the knife, Jason breaks.
Oh, Tim thinks. His eyes weren’t green. They’re supposed to be blue.
——
Jason sits beside the medical cot, the steady beeping of the heart monitor grounding him as he held two fingers on the kid’s- oh god, he’s a fucking kid, Todd, you monster- pulse.
Jason will grovel when Tim wakes up. Because he turned into the kid’s Joker and Willis and if there’s anything Jason won’t ever allow himself to turn into, it’d be those two. He crossed a line. If Tim wants him to rip his liver out and present it to him, Jason thinks he’d do it on the spot.
Fuck. He fucked up.

Going off the Ingo and Emmet had a big fight before Ingo gets ebbie debbied.
I can only imagine how Spice would feel about this. Like they try to psychologically torment Ingo who only as fragments of memories, at best, of who he was and the people in his life. Spice fails, ends up being the warden's partner, and worst of all ends up having an emotional attachment with this man. Spice won't admit it, but he's come to like the strange human.
Fast forward and Ingo get undebbied from the past. Spice and the other pokemon follow cause they care deeply for Ingo and don't want him to be on his own like he was in Hisui. A wacky adventure begins and everything really looks hopeful from here on out.
And then they find Emmet and then it all goes south. Spice (in his Zoroark form) and the rest wait out as the brothers talk, until they can hear yelling. They hear the slamming of a door open and see Ingo yelling at Emmet to just listen to him, but before he can finish Emmet pushes Ingo to the ground.
All hell breaks loose. The other pokemon react but Spice is faster. He gets in-between Emmet and Ingo putting some space between the two, and while facing Emmet, he transforms. Emmet now faces himself but this him is not smiling and his eyes are full of scorn.

Danny is the lost son of Batman and Catwoman au where Jason finds out about him and instead of telling anyone about him being alive/his location, Jason goes to investigate whether or not Danny is happy were he was.
Needless to say Jason was not pleased to find the state in which his newest brother was living. Hes even less pleased to find out the 14-15 year old was an undead super who was two steps away from meeting a fate similar to Jasons own. So he decides to do was any other good crime boss would do in this situation.
He moved in.
He started with the biggest threat. Vlad was missing and he made sure no one would notice until the trail had long since gone cold. Then he obliterated the GIW. The things he did to them were difficult to talk about, especially when he learned what they intended to do with Danny.
The ghost boy himself actually noticed how much calmer it was around Amity and made a comment to Sam saying he must have a gardian angel looking out for him now.
Jason did not cry.
