#to be clear I don't necessarily recommend Trigun #it's pretty gory and over-the-top #I've just been captivated by it #and like I don't consume media for the *christian themes*#but every story has bits of the Great Story in it #and the more real and true a story is the more and more truly it'll reflect the great story (in all its complexity)#and Trigun? oh man #oh man. flowers blooming in the desert—#make straight the way of the lord—#like oh. oh. I can't explain it tonight I'm too tired but #man would I like to take a solid hour and just tell someone the plot and why Vash is an image of Jesus and yet a solid compelling character #—with flaws!!#he's so human...#tHE WORLDBUILDINGGGG #aaaaaaa #I have to read the source material Pronto #because ??????? the quality of this story is gonna depend on what they do with the end #Trigun is playing so heavily and obviously with Christian themes and I'm going to be LookingTM at what they do with it #I completely trust that it's going to be interesting #but I hope it'll be complex #I trust that it'll be Good #but I can't wait to find out what happens with for instance Wolfwood my significant annoyance. and Zazie? what will his role ultimately be?#my heart is in my throat on every single episode #trigun posting late at night #A N G E L S

Sure have!#I forgot how long it takes for Chimera Falin to come into play.#I still really love my 'better drawn' art of her - unfortunately it was several weeks too early for the anime only folks.#Slowly getting the hang of drawing Laios. I don't know why I struggle so much but I am getting...somewhere.#Meta time: God damn I love how the chimera shows off the expertise and gap between Kabru and Laios.#The truth is: they are both *right* and they are both *wrong*.#This creature is a combination of monster and human and they only have the skillset to deal with one of those.#Kabru goes for all the human vitals - but she isn't human.#Laios tries to approach her as a monster and is struck down by the humanity he sees in her.#She is something new that defies what they *both* understand about the world. And that makes her such a perfect antagonist.#The damsel was the dragon all along!#...She is really so cute though. Terrifying! But adorable. I am so excited to see the boom of fanart for her.

my brother just called me late at night, barely able to get two words out because he was laughing so hard. Finally, through the wheezing, he told me “go google the new Gollum game. Please”
