my thing is, if you have to misinterpret and strip jason’s character out of everything that makes him him to like his character, maybe he’s just not the one for you?
stop coming on here and writing essays about bruce’s experience with jason’s death and his ways of dealing with it, which while fucked up, are ultimately his own. and then turning around and saying jason was/is wrong as if he is not also a very real victim of his own death? I mean if you can be understanding of why batfam “coped” the way they did then there’s no reason why that understanding shouldn’t also be lent to the actual victim of the crime?
everybody involved doesn’t have good coping mechanisms and thats the point in a good story, not who’s right or wrong. and mind you, making jason’s entire death and resurrection centred around the no kill rule and nothing else is very stupid. it is shocking that, that’s the only part of his story ppl here will focus on and scrutinize.

the way Edwin's immediate reaction upon seeing the misery wraith in the Devlin house is to grab Crystal and cover her mouth, even while he's explaining (apparently calmly) that it hunts by sensing negativity and pain - presumably instead of using sight or sound
and the way that he does the exact same thing to Charles when they're reunited in Hell, but here he urges him specifically to be quiet (in what must be the most barely audible line of dialogue in the whole show) because he's found that's the only way he can get a short reprieve between bouts of torture from the spider thing (to the point that when he ran into Simon earlier he - rather nonsensically - believed the sound of tearing paper behind a closed door was also a big risk)
All I'm saying is, it doesn't look like it was actually all that important he stop Crystal from making noise in the Devlin house, and as much as that scene originally read as Edwin kinda having his shit together while Charles & Crystal were both more affected & then literally incapacitated, his head couldn't have been half as clear as it first seemed if his immediate reaction was reverting to Surviving Hell Tactics even when they weren't really helpful or applicable here

DC X DP PROMPT #20
Danny has been captured by parents who thought that they could 'fix' him. They thought he was possessed.
Their fix? Capping all emotions. It wasn't a lobotomy per se, but it was quite close to it. The Fenton's know this isn't a long-term fix, they are looking for something more permanent. Which is what led them to a Wayne Charity Gala in the first place. The Drs. Fenton are seeking funds to make a mirical cure for their obviously sick son. No, they can't tell you more about it (not here at least). If you want to find out more you can donate and come to their next seminar.
Danny is sickly and devoid of all emotions, this sets off some red flags for the bats, regardless of what the boys parents are saying.

My favorite thing in the world about Rise Leo is that he acts Like That but then at any given moment he's almost always doing something that's like. so fucking clever.
Like in the episode "The Ancient Art of Ninja Hide and Seek," the guys are sneaking around Big Mama's hotel to steal something from her guard dog Gus's collar. Raph's idea of stealth is uhhh holding a frond over his head, and Mikey and Donnie spend most of their time scooting a food cart up the stairs. Gus sniffs them all out and they all have to be rescued by Splinter.
And then Leo does this
And it seems so stupid, but like? it's actually not?? there's a strategy here???
The other guys get caught bc Gus is an incredible tracker w a great sense of hearing and smell—which Leo knows from their last run-in with him. So what does Leo do? He eliminates the problem by purposefully sneaking up on Gus in a crowded, noisy, distracting room so Gus won't be able to hear or smell him. And it WORKS—Gus doesn't notice him even when he's right under his nose! He just gets unlucky that the Evil Sports match ends right when he gets his hands on the collar.
It's just. so endlessly funny to me that Leo's the one who gets the closest to actually completing the mission without needing Splinter to bail him out, and no one notices bc he does so with the air of a court jester. A little clown boy. He truly radiates the vibe of someone constantly flying by the seat of his booty shorts, meaning no one realizes until Shredder that he's secretly the only one on the team who regularly uses ANY problem-solving or planning skills lmao

Legit obsessed with this moment
Everyone else is injured, tired, covered in blood, their clothes are ripped, and Lucifer's perfectly fine, uninjured, not stained, not tired ass "YOOOO that was a tough battle, I bet everyone is hungry. What do people eat? Pancakes? I can make pancakes WHO WANTS PANCAKES??"
And Charlie's suffering from second hand embarrassment like "Dad... read the room..."
Lucifer
sweetie
darling
I love you
A for effort but
F for execution

How would bill feel if dipper reincarnated as an incubus?
Thrilled. Delighted. Tickled pink!
Partly because hey! That's a great look for him! Inhuman and demonic and oh-so-cute. Another part because of all the demonic subtypes he could end up as, this one has to be the most ironic, a bit of him thrilled just because it's good to see him again -
And of course, a Big Ol' Chunk of delight for the other obvious reason.

When I say "Arthas was right about Stratholme" I'm thinking purely about the W3 mission and no other iteration because Mal'ganis was literally poaching the city for undead minions. It's a foot race against him. You have to balance killing him to stop him gathering the sick townsfolk and slaying the townsfolk WHICH if you ARE having a moral objection to killing townsfolk, you can literally wait six seconds before attacking them, as in those six seconds they begin to mutate into ghouls, and still complete the mission. No innocents killed, just mindless undead.
But blizzard had to make a cohesive narrative and so many details of that have changed since then so now Arthas just goes around caving in the heads of wide eyed children like an absolute freak and I see why people get so up in arms about the issue.
