Happy New Year, 2023!

Happy New Year everyone!

To be honest, it hasn’t been a great start to the new year.

I feel sick. But every single covid19 test I take is all negative. It’s driving me nuts.

I hope this year I can do more food related things...

That is once, the flooded kitchen gets repaired. It flooded badly during Thanksgiving 2022 due to a burst water pipe. The pressure regulator at home had failed. After contractors ripped up the kitchen to assess and treat water damage, an additional water leak was found and rotten subflooring.

One would think, having no kitchen available would lead to more creative means to making food. I guess I could try. But with mess in the house, it’s easier to just eat out. I’m actually really tired of eating out... But home insurance would rather have us eat out than to set up a temporary kitchen.

people need to be more considerate towards animals, especially strays, during new year. because fireworks nonstop until 1 am is actually insane. please fucking think about animals. I promise you, your 2024 and your life will be shit if you start new year by harming animals.
