Danny has been de-aged, and his memories are fuzzy but not entirely gone.
He knows that something is wrong, that he’s missing something important, but he has no idea what. He doesn’t even fully know who he is—nor does anyone else he’s met in Gotham. And no matter how much he wracks his brain, he can’t seem to figure it out.
Sure, he sometimes remembers snippets. But he can never follow them anywhere, the trains of thought slipping away from his grasp far too quickly to analyze.
He’s not sure quite how much time he’s lost just spiraling about how if he could just fucking think straight for once maybe it’d all be fine, but it’s certainly been a lot.
At first, he’d debated going to the police to ask for help. But even before he heard the stories from other street kids, something in his gut told him not to. To avoid anything connected to the government. To hide. To never let anyone know he has powers.
Combined with the half-remembered nightmares of being cut open, it doesn’t paint a good picture in his mind.
Sometimes, a terrified piece of him wonders if this is all there was, if his entire life was constrained to those white-walled cells until he escaped into Gotham’s streets. He tries not to think about that option too much.

For those who are confused why writers and actors are striking, imagine you’re an actor trying to make ends meet and your boss walks up one day and snaps a photo of your face and then says that they now own your face.
They’re gonna use your face to make themselves money for the rest of time and they’re only gonna pay you once for it.
And then theres what they’re doing to the writers. Do you want formulaic, unoriginal, safe, non challenging media thats boring and only exists to sell as many tickets as possible? Ai writing is how you get media thats formulaic, unoriginal, safe, non challenging and boring shit that only exists to make as much money as possible.
These people have decided that making a good movie that you will remember takes second priority to mass producing a metric fuck ton of soulless unimaginative garbage because mass printing garbage makes them more money.
These rich buffoons who wouldn’t know a good story if it hit them upside the head with a diamond-encrusted 2x4 are trying to AUTOMATE FUCKING WRITING AND ACTING, and pay anyone who they keep around nothing but pennies in comparison to their own profits.
So don’t throw a fit if your favorite shows or movies get cancelled or delayed because of this. The people at fault are not the writers and actors but the people who make all their money off the writers and actors and are hoarding said money and trying to replace said actors and writers with cheap knockoffs.

Highlights from the Divining the Future stream for those who couldn't make it:
- The stream began with "Run Away With Me" from NMT2's Killer Track, with the Miss Holloway music video
- Once everyone got settled, they explained how Matt Lang had found some 'mysterious cards' that he was compelled to reveal, and so they decided to do individual tarot readings for the whole cast.
- The cards were from The Black Tarot, a Hachetfield themed tarot deck [Or more accurately, an oracle deck.] With art by Nicole Rodriguez! @shnikkles
- They didn't have prototypes for the cards yet because of the recent tariffs, but Matt said their production should be back on track now.
- Before they began the readings, Nick Lang showed off the brand new Pokey doll made by Yootooz! He confirmed it's perfect.
- "Pokey, my shayla" - The cast's reaction to the doll
- Nick also shared that during this stream they had five secret projects in total to reveal based on the donation goals they set. [They only revealed four during this stream]
- “Jokes on you cause I don't remember any of them” - James Tolbert
- To begin the tarot readings the cast sang the summoning to invoke the names of The Lords in Black. It was out of sync, out of key, and downright terrible. So exactly as it should be.
- I won't go into every reading they did on stream, but here are the most notable ones:
- Paul Gabriel went first and got The Alchemist. [Professor Hidgens]
- When asked what this meant to him Paul mentioned his role in Workin’ Boys, and Nick confirmed that Paul Gabriel is canon to the Hachetfield universe
- Lauren went next, she got The Singular Voice [Pokotho]
- Nick said this was fitting, because she's about to be director for the revival. He said "Your apotheiosos is upon you, Lauren.”
- It’s also worth noting that during the stream Nick Lang was in a board room and the echo from it made him sound like God.
- Next reading was for the chat!! We got The Father [Bill Woodward]
- "Thank you to all of our kickstarter backer daddies" - Nick Lang's response to that card
- The cast then mentioned how much Nick hated being called Daddy, to the point where he once left a creative team thread from the sheer amount of terrible jokes
- Mariah got The Mastermind [Charles Coven], The Outcast [Richie Lipschitz], and my personal favorite card-- The Lovers [Aka, the Lautski card]
- Joey got The Warlock [Wilbur Cross], The Witch [Miss Holloway], The Queen in White [Webby], The Vagrant [Homeless Man], and for his destiny -- The Adulterer [Charlotte Sweetly].
- Joey screamed very loudly at the last two, but hey, they fit his character
- WE GOT A DIANE CAMEO
- Once they hit a few donation goals the Langs announced some future projects they had planned, starting with the Hachetfield ones:
- Miss Holloween, a NMT 3 story centered around Miss Holloway and Holloween itself. Matt Lang said that ideally he'd like to release it this Holloween, but the official release date is unknown.
- Orbweaver, a NMT 3 story centered around Lex and Hannah Foster on the run -- A continuation of Yellow Jacket, but with a time skip to the present. Hannah will be an adult in this story.
- They talked about things like logistics and casting. Mainly that they'd like to have Kendall Nicole back as Hannah if possible, and that these two stories would be in a different style than the past NMT episodes. So, no more zoom format.
- They also said that if they were gonna be producing any more Nightmare Time stories, these two were top priority because they wrap up both Miss Holloway and the Fosters' individual storylines that have been set up since the first season.
- This basically means that at least for now, the other Nightmare Time stories will be put on hold due to financial and logistical constraints.
- Cast Party Massacre, the final Hachetfield project revealed. It's meant to be in a movie format featuring the Hachetfield Community Players, and a who-dunnnit story to boot. "It's a movie-musical about theatre people killing each other."
- Nick Lang also shared in passing that there are more musicals planned for The Lands That Are, including one based off The Pied Piper called "Rat's Castle"
- The very last project revealed was a Non-Hachetfield musical:
- Tomb Quest. Developed by Matt Lang, Eric Kahn Gale, and Clark Baxtresser. This musical will be taking place in a suburban basement as five old friends reunite in order to fulfill their late friend, Ben's last request: Finish their long since abandoned TTRPG Campaign, Tomb Quest.
- The final tarot reading was for the production of TGWDLM: Reprised itself, and it got The Mastermind. [Charles Coven, the head of CCRP]
- We raised 540k during the stream, and the following night we hit 550k -- Effectively surpassing the highest funded theatre kickstarter ever, and making TGWDLM simultaneously Starkid's highest and lowest funded kickstarter.
- Congratulations to Starkid and thank you to everyone who donated! We've got one last stream this Saturday, the DnD stream. Be sure to tune in and continue to donate to the kickstarter!

Indigenous women represent about one-fifth of all women killed in gender-related homicides in Canada -- despite comprising just five percent of the female population."
Possible human remains discovered at a Canadian landfill site may be the bodies of two murdered Indigenous women police suspect were disposed by a serial killer, the Manitoba provincial government said Wednesday.
At the Prairie Green landfill, north of Winnipeg, experts "identified potential human remains in the search material," the government said in a statement.
Federal police and the province's chief medical examiner are now investigating and seeking to identify the remains as those of Morgan Harris and Marcedes Myran.
The two women were raped, killed, dismembered and thrown out with the trash, according to court testimony from a trial heard last year.

Jeremy Skibicki was found guilty in July 2024 of killing four Indigenous women.
The body of another victim, Rebecca Contois, was found in a separate landfill and in a garbage bin, while the remains of a fourth unidentified victim in her 20s is still missing.
Skibicki targeted Indigenous women he met in homeless shelters.
In December 2022, Winnipeg Police Chief Danny Smyth wrote an open letter to Indigenous leaders, vowing to secure a conviction. following correspondence to the AFN, AMC, SCO, MKO  and the Long Plain First Nation.
"The investigation involving the murders of Rebecca Contois, Marcedes Myran, Morgan Harris, and Buffalo Woman has been one of the most complex and important homicide investigations during my tenure," Smith wrote. "I have heard the calls from the families, the Indigenous leadership, and the community. I understand your calls; the pain and sorrow is unimaginable."

The case was seen by many in Canada as a symbol of the dangers faced by Indigenous women in a country where they disproportionately fall victim to violence, termed a "genocide" by a national public inquiry in 2019.
Indigenous women represent about one-fifth of all women killed in gender-related homicides in the country -- despite comprising just five percent of the female population.
A similar situation exists in the U.S., where Native American women are disproportionately targeted in murders, sexual assaults and other acts of violence, both on reservations and in nearby towns.
There were more than 5,700 reports of missing Native women and girls in 2016, according to the anti-sexual assault organization RAINN, which cites statistics from the National Crime Information Center. The BIA estimated more recently that roughly 4,200 cases of missing and murdered Indigenous people remain unsolved.
Earlier this month, the remains of a woman found dead on a reservation in southwestern South Dakota were identified as a Sioux woman who went missing more than a year ago.
