1. Junk- M83

Ohhhhh my fucking god. I could talk about this album for YEARS. The instrumentals. The mix between upbeat/melancholy, the way it tells a story the whole way through. Guys I listened to this album on a loop all of winter and it’s officially my most listened to album of all time. Absolutely fucking phenomenal. Favs on here are probably “Bibi the Dog” and “Solitude” but it’s truly no-skip. This album makes me ascend. I would’ve killed to watch their Coachella set in 2016

2. How to Be a Human Being- Glass Animals

This albums feels like being transported back to the early 90s- it sounds like vibrant colors and textures and it’s just some of the most unique sounds I’ve ever heard. Beautiful lyricism from Glass Animals always. They were my most listened to artist in high school and seeing them get so big is like !!! ummm deserved !!! - tighnari occasionally getting distracted by work is one thing. cyno is a whole other story; the mahamatra has been drowning in paperwork with all the changes to the akademiya. his own hunger is often a reminder to check up on his partner, and tighnari finds himself visiting cyno more than usual during the weeks he does withering clean-ups; always with food in hand. just in case.

- just in case with tighnari always turns out to be i called it, and it's no different with his assumptions about cyno. when he visits, the mahamatra has often fallen asleep half way through a form, head on the desk and drool on the corner of his mouth. if his body cannot gain energy from food, it must find other ways. other times, he finds him on his way back from a confrontation in the desert, hand on his stomach and scowl on his face, squinting past the stars that dance in his vision and the city that spins around him

- you're already a tortured artist, he says, frowning to himself as he feels the sharp edges of ribs and a concave stomach beneath his hands. let's try to abstain from adding 'starving' to the repertoire just yet
