A year has past or so snice I been in the Venom fandom and Spider-Man in some aspects as well. As I think it's time to talk about my very long story of how I got into this to begin with.

So this will be a very long story, so get yourself comfy if you wish to read it.

It all begins in the year of 2018. The first Venom movie came out or at least the trailer, at the time I was like "why are they making a movie about a villain for?" Yes this was my reaction to it and oh boy I was very wrong about that.

Because my only knowledge at the time was I thought Venom was the quote bad guy likely because of SM3, even though I didn't see that movie in full I just knew that Venom was the villain of the story. But also at the time, I didn't know who Eddie Brock was, I didn't know Venom had a host or even could do that and was just some evil Spider Man guy that was just some monster.

The only things I remember was I saw a handful of Venom fan art, I just thought people ship Eddie and Venom just for the fun of it and didn't know that they were a couple. I remember hearing that they were gay and heard it was a thing in the comics. And had that moment of "oh maybe I might give it a watch" and never got around to.

So a few years past and forget everything that I knew about that because it just didn't fully phase me at the time. And thanks to funny enough Ben 10 that kick started my love for aliens. Everything change in 2021 when I was at college in my class and saw one of the class members in there watching Venom: LTBC.

I saw and realise that it was Venom and had no idea that a second movie came out. I ask them about what they were watching and said it was the second Venom movie. I got me actually interested idk what happen but something just dragged me into it, maybe it was the universe had something plan for me.

Or maybe it was because early that year I was was watching USM cartoon with my boyfriend as we were going threw all of the Man of Action cartoons they have made. So seeing Venom in that got me interested about him even before.

Later my dad and my sister were gonna go off to see it and I just wanted to join because I just wanted to see a movie because last thing I saw at the time in cinemas was the Sonic movie. My dad said to me I could only see it if I saw the first one and later on we both sat down to watch it as in good timing it was airing on tv.

I know a lot of people have mix feelings of these movies but honestly I fell in love with it. With me already loving Ben 10 it gave me vibes of that in some ways. It had this very 00s feel to it all.

So once I saw it and realise how cool Venom was and he was just misunderstood and not really a villain more of a anti-hero. Even Venom saying he is a loser made me realise that he wasn't this mindless creature there so much more to him. Also the voice just making me think of a Ben 10 alien, that's also what was appealing about him and the first thing I thought of when hearing his voice in full.

Next was of course seeing the second movie, with finding out context about them being a gay couple in the comics, again after not remembering. It made me more interested in these characters even more.

So me, my dad and my sister all went to see and we all enjoy it. We all had a blast, I remember my dad and me laughing the most and I had the biggest smile on my face coming outta it. I never felt that happy in so long and finally finding a new interested to be fixated on after trying to find something new for so long, was satisfying to say at least.

Again people have mix feelings about these movies but honestly, these movies mean a lot to me. I love them for there goofyness and camp. They made me find happiness again, they made me inspired and so what if there strange or doesn't have the perfect writing or whatever. It was the just the vibes that made me love it the most.

Especially the rave scene part. That whole speech Venom had was simple at best, but it was touching. It something I needed to hear as it was the year I came out as bi online. I wasn't sure if I was being true to myself and thought I was lying to myself, however that moment with what Venom said made me proud of myself. So it was in a way all thanks to Venom for making me even more bi. (Then also later on found out I was gender fuild as well.)

I had a better understanding of things and myself and felt free. I use to be unsure of myself a lot because I forced myself to hide what I was really feeling in fear of what others might of said. Or being forced not to feel that way, that and I was also around some not so nice people at the time so that didn't help ether. Venom: LTBC was kinda similar in a metaphorical way to what I was going threw.

But yeah, after that I got into Venom and Spider Man too over all. From seeing fan art, fics and then reading the comics, I love the 90s Venom comic and some of the recent-ish ones too and also binging threw all the Spidey movies so I could be ready to watch Spider Man: NWH. Oh some of the Spidey cartoons as well.

Granted I did previously see the some of of Spidey movies as a kid. Like the Raimi Spidey films seeing 1&2 and a bits and pieces of the third one on tv. I saw TASM1 in cinemas and then Spiderverse way later on and both love those movies and so on.

But yeah overall Venom has done a lot of good for me. I'm glad to be part of it and with the many ups and downs I seen its made me learn to appreciate more things and so on. Without Venom I would of not met the amazing friends I have made or the stuff I drawn, or even braching off into getting into others things like horror and such.

Its done a lot of good overall and I wouldn't be here or be who I am now without it. Every little thing helped a long way to try new things because you never know you might learn something new about yourself, that you didn't know before.

Al Haitham, Xiao, Cyno, and Wanderer won't directly talk to you about his feelings if it doesn't seem like you return them. He also doesn't want to run the risk of crossing any boundaries without certainty that you would want him to act romantically. Things wouldn't really progress unless you actively told him how you feel about him, or became more obvious. He isn't the most receptive to cues but can understand them if you're going to be obvious enough about it. Once he starts understanding that you want to pursue a romantic relationship with him things will develop faster, telling you that he feels the same and he wants things to develop.

Thoma, Kaeya, Lyney, and Kazhua notice that you're growing a little more reserved around him. You're pulling away because you're worried your feelings are going to become even more obvious if you spend too much time around him. He's kind enough to try and respond similarly, worried that he's done something to offend you. He'll ask you one day if there's a reason why you're pulling away from him, eventually leading to your confession to him about your feelings. He'll lightly tease you for hiding them from him, telling you that he feels the same and if you had just admitted them to him earlier the two of you could have been together by now.

you'd been having a relatively good day. i mean as good as it could get. you'd finished the reports you were supposed to do, and nothing had gone wrong. still, you felt a little on edge.

you walk over to the kitchen, busying yourself in making an afternoon coffee, a daily ritual. spencer is in the bau kitchen too, and you smile.

"hows your day been?" you ask, looking at him as he leans against the counter, watching you make your coffee.

"standard. what about you?" he asks, looking at you enquiringly.

"oh, yeah nothing much- just doing some reports and such." you say.

you've finished making your coffee, taking a gentle sip of it. its hot. spencers talking still, and your paying attention, watching him as you place your mug down and reach for the fridge to grab some milk. somehow, in the most unlucky fashion, your mug was not placed properly, and it falls with a crash to the ground, splashing scolding hot coffee all over you.

"ouch!" you cry, as the coffee burns your skin. you feel it then, the tears well in your eyes. you've been just a small incident away from tears all day, and here it was.

"are you okay?" spencer says quickly, hes in front of you, offering you a tea towel.

your overwhelmed, and you look up at him, tears running down your face. you feel slightly embarrassed, and you look down quickly, accepting the tea towel. spencer looks at you, a softness to his expression.

"hey.. its alright-" he says, reaching to place a hand on your shoulder and moves his thumb soothingly.

"god- this is such a mess." you say, patting yourself before giving up with a sigh.

"no, your good. its all fine." he whispers, and guides you towards him. he doesn't seem to mind your half covered in coffee, as he wraps his arms around you and holds you closely.

you sniffle as he hugs you, perhaps just a little in need of affection in this moment. he squeezes you a little, and you allow yourself to relax, slowing down your breathing.

"its fine, dont worry. i've got a spare shirt?" he says, hand still tracing soft patterns on your shoulder.

"thank you." you whisper, into spencers chest. your not quite ready for him to let go of you, and he seems to know that, holding you tight, until your feeling better.

Ok, but in the Mother-Child Preggers Tang au... what if it crosses over with Slow Boiled au?

Referencing this post I made about Tang accidentally drinking from the Mother-Child River while the gang are travelling in S3.

Oh gosh i love the idea. In all the chaos of Wukong having his Stone Egg, Tang accidentally gets himself in a similar postition. XD

Throughout the Slow-Boiled Au, Pigsy and Tang frequently prove themselves to be good parents, and with all the talk of Wukong's overdue baby, the freenoodles pair both start to wonder...

Both brush the thoughts off cus they're in their 30s at least, and MK is enough. But the thoughts still crop up time to time.

Then cue Tang getting so thirsty during the S3 team-split, that he takes a big mouthful of river water without boiling it first. Pigsy initially blames the scholar's cramps on giardia. But they were oh so wrong.

Scorpion Queen pretty much forces herself into the gang because she's the only one around who *knows* how the Mother-Child River works. And she's not gonna let her new friends get hurt with all this bone demon business!

Pigsy, unsure: "Hey, Scorpion? I have something I really need to ask about the River." Scorpion Queen: "Sure thing! Ask me anything!" Pigsy, hesistating: "Will... will the baby look just like Tang? Or is some... river god involved?" Scorpion Queen, catching on quickly: "OH! Oh no no no! Theres no river god baby-daddy!" *starts laughing* Pigsy, relieved: "Phew!" Tang: "Aww! Piggy, you were worried!" Pigsy: "I dont mind our kid being a mini-you. I just dont want some gross minor god to have his mitts on ya'." Scorpion Queen, still laughing: "Nah dude! You guys are gonna have a cute little piglet!" Pigsy & Tang: "Wut." Scorpion Queen: "Couples came to the River to have babies all the time! If the drinker had a mate, then the baby would take on the appearance of their partner by absorbing some of their dao. If it didn't, then the Kingdom of Women would have been overrun with inbred clones!" Tang: "Ah, that makes sense." Pigsy: *completely dumbstruck with joy* Wukong, quiet until now: "...wait. Did the ladies back at the village think Master and Zhu Bajie were a mated couple that fumbled the process!? Is that why they laughed so much!?"

And ofc because of their shared situation, Tang and Wukong bond over the rest of the roadtrip. Tang would 100% wear a cringey matching maternity shirt with the Monkey King if they had time to stop for some shopping.

Pigsy breaks the news to the rest of the gang in an... unelegant fashion after the Samadhi Fire ritual went belly-up.

Pigsy: "So uh... stuff happened when we all got separated back in the desert." MK: "Yeah, you said Monkey King got amnesia and thats how Scorpion Queen joined the team." Scorpion Queen: *delighted wave!* Tang: "There's more to it MK..." MK, panicking: "Oh gods, you guys aren't hiding a world-ending secret too, right!? Cus I cannot deal with-" Pigsy, cutting him off: "Tang is pregnant. And we've decided to keep the baby." MK: *struck silent* Sandy, joyfully: "Congratulations! I hope the Monkey King didn't hear too much of you guys making it!" Pigsy, blushing furiously: "NOT LIKE THAT!!!" Tang, amused grin: "How else are babies made, Piggy? I'm certainly not having a stone egg.~" Pigsy, red-faced: "'CUS YOU DRANK THAT STANKY MUD WATER, THATS HOW!" MK, frozen stiff: "Wut."

Needless to say, MK is happy for his parents, but the timing isn't ideal. After LBD is defeated though, MK fully embraces his upcoming baby sibling! XD

Unfortunately the timing also means that Tang spends S4 in a very compromised position.

You know I think Jamil is one of those characters I can envision as a yandere. If you’ve seen Aladdin, you’d know that once Jafar took over the kingdom, Jasmine became his slave? I like to imagine that overblot Jamil kept MC around instead, dressed them up in that red slave outfit and put shackles on them which sounds really kinky. Jamil would like to keep MC around as a slave but is also like crazy about them even before their overblot because MC was kind to him and didn’t treat him like a servant. Maybe he teases them a little bit to rile them up. Kinda like a glorified pet but also lover at the same time

Some ideas I had was maybe Peach and the others are Herbivores? What if they can only eat fruits and veggies and Mario sees a slab of cooked meat and he's just like "OO STEAK" and chomps into it and everyone just looks at him like

ALSO! Maybe Peach has to sleep a lot more than Mario does. OR maybe a lot less? Imagine if peach only needed 4 hours of sleep and then she was wide awake. Or maybe the opposite? Imagine if 12 hours is a standard amount of sleep they need. Mario is running around at 7 AM on 8 hours of sleep and Peach is like "whyyyy are you uppp so earlyyy go back to sleeeppp"

Or SHES up at 4 AM like "Mario are you up? Hey Mario are you awake? Do you want breakfast? I made you breakfast. Its cake I hope that's okay-"

I also imagined temperatures! I mostly imagined that Peach cannot handle the heat what so ever. Mario's out there in 35°C (95°F) heat and Peach is tucked away in her dungeon like a vampire. Or the OPPOSITE?? Its 40°C (104°F) and she's out there gardening and Mario is cooped up inside just miserable <XD

I was hit with a sudden wave of inspiration to make a comic, and its a lot harder then it looks. XD so i was wondering if you had any tips and/or ticks for making comics.

specifically with the layout of the panels and were to put speech bubbles so they dont cover too much of the scene but it still stays readable.

Ooh, fun! Hope it works out for you. I'm still figuring it all out myself but I can try and share a few nuggets of "wisdom"... if I can call them that x'D

First up; rough it. When I come up with a comic idea, I usually plan it out in my head before I attempt to put it down on the canvas. When I finally start roughly sketching the panels, it's loose; nothing is set in stone.

Sometimes, it takes some shuffling, readjusting, removing, adding and whatnot to get the layout I want on a page or across a few pages. At times, I'm just sliding around small sketches like puzzle pieces until they fit on a page.

Don't feel too bad if you have to axe or alter a panel you had in mind; sometimes you gotta "kill your darlings" to get something better. If something isn't working out, put it to the side and try something different, no matter how annoying it is.

As you can (probably) see below, the rough sketch version of this comic page has three panels that were tossed out and replaced with a single different panel. Though, the first panel's dialogue in the rough sketch ("your spark") was moved to the comic's previous page for a better flow of dialogue between pages.

When it comes to speech bubbles, you at times have to accept that a speech bubble is going to cover up some of your art and the characters in a panel. There is only so much you can fit in there. But you can try maneuvering around this by keeping the speech bubbles in mind while you're roughing the panels.

Don't add too much dialogue in a single bubble. A character is allowed to have several speech bubbles in a single panel, or even across a few panels. Some bubbles can even be merged together as seen below.

And well, sometimes the art already tells enough so wordy dialogue might not even be necessary.

If you don't want to add dialogue and speech bubbles to your sketches while you're working on stuff, be sure to have it written down elsewhere. I often find myself forgetting parts of the dialogue x'D

Panels also don't need to be linear. They can overlap for dynamic effect. Heck, even characters and/or objects can be drawn outside the constrictions of a panel's frame, and the same goes for speech bubbles as seen above and below.

You have a lot of freedom when it comes to creating the layout of your comic. Too many panels? Add another page or extend the canvas (vertically)! Want to make small comics with only two to three panels? Go for it! Don't want solid frame lines? You don't even have to draw frames if you don't want to!

It's all trial and error, especially when you're a rookie. Just have fun with it, don't take it too seriously, and experiment.

so i sort of half accidentally did the end of totk on monday, i had over 130 hours and slightly over 50% of the game done and did the second to last fight with 3 hearts left and no way to heal but fairies after i gave up multiple times thinking the game might be trying to force me to fight a certain way xD

so im still playing it and am aiming for the 100% but i dont think theres gonna be much more to discover story wise the game is really fun and has a lot of detail and love put into it that you can really see, the music is fantastic as well, some of the characters get more love which is great but the story is … well disappointing but not surprising, especially in its treatment of ganondorf, who still feels incredibly flat as a character, which was to be expected but also … you cant fault people (including me) for faintly hoping theyd do something more interesting tho i will say the end fight is really well done and i cant think of a way to top that in terms of epicness xD

anyway, some unfiltered thoughts and opinions in no particular order (keep in mind i know its viddy game logic uwu but still some things can really destroy the immersion; and also i like to think too hard about the stuff i care about so take this with a grain of salt, i never expected the story to be world changing but i want to remind you that i am criticizing it bc i love this franchise)

--what the hell happened to all the sheikah tech?? botws story gets mentioned a few times but never is it mentioned what happened to all the tons of tech lying around everywhere? if they dismantled the towers for purah to build her new ones around i guess thats fine, but all the srhines? the titans ??? THE SHRINE OF LIFE??? its all gone, esepcially the shrine of life irks me bc the cave is still there and its still called by its bame but its nothing but a cave in a vague shape of how the buidling was it absolutely drives me crazy bc its so dumb?? even if it all stopped working for some reason why would you dismantled it all and even then where did the material go?? why would you dismanlted an neitre building like that anyway?? if you want to have a cave there just have it be half collapsed, if all sheikah tech has gotten useless just leave it there but overgrown?? and why is all of purahs tech still working then? zelda doesnt seem to care about it anymore either even tho shes been so obsessed with it for so long? the titans how would you even MOVE them?? you CANNOT tell me that all this tech that survived tens of thousands of years just went poof within a few years; and sometimes it even feels .. insulting? like you know how much robelo cared for cherry and now shes tiny and just serves as a way to buy fotos for your collection? the fact that the shrine of life is fully gone but the cave is vaguely shaped like its interior and where the bed used to be is a healing pool of water too? like idk if im just insane but it feels like 'haha lol remember what used to be here? get it? the water heals you like the bed in the shrine of life and lol there was the stairs HAHA remember? its gone now for no reason.lmao.' to be clear i like having some mysteries and all but that is just …. so weird? when i discovered the shrine of life i was so taken aback i didnt know what to do, it really broke my immersion, by alot even, it just makes it feel even more like all sheikah tech was replaced by much cooler (tm) sonau tech

--what happend to the sonau people? we only know that rauru and mineru are the last two remaining ones back then but … what made them die out like that? this is by far not as important to me as the issue with the sheikah tech but still feels like a point that could have been mentioned

--as much as i like the open world and how free you are to do things your own way but, regardign the dragon tears i think they should have been locked more behind story progression, i got all of them rather early on and it made it a lil frustrating to play through the other story parts bc you know the truth but you cant tell anyone and everyone around you is acting like a dumbass running after fake zelda while the real one is floating around above you, and i know thats partly my fault for getting them all so early but it still felt like some could have been more well hidden or locked or something since theres no hint to when it would fit to do which one; i expecpted impa to travel to each one but it seemed like she appeared on only a few here and there- additionally i fully expected her to be more important, that she would have an actual involment trying to help zelda undragonfy but that turned out to be very wrong lmao

--why are the enemies in the underground mining sonanium? ganondorf didnt seem itnerested at all in any of their tech, only in the mystery stones (only one too, he didnt seem to want any more of them either) they dont use it for anything? at least the ones on the surface collected stuff they could eat or use for fighting?

--the zelda being the white dragon plot point lost alot of weight to me when it was just .. resolved like that in the end, i know she spent thousands of years like that and all but it seemed like a much heavier decision that later on felt a little less flat after fidning mineru even tho i felt like i didnt care at all at first bc of the way i found out ,and i half expected there to be an extra mission to try and find her soul again since that apparently gets lost when you do the whole dragon thing, but in the end that wasnt a problem at all, two ghosts and link (somehow naked again) blasting her with some magic(tm) and boom shes back and well and fine woohoo it was a non problem after all i didnt expect her to stay dragon since that would mean the end of the legend of zelda basically, but still it took away alot of the weight of her decision to me? like i get undragonfying her before the end would be difficult since you can get material off of her but still i hoped for something other than boom it resolved itself and i thoguht and worried about it for nothing honestly a post game or even another title where the main focus wouldnt be desstroying yet anyother one note evilest guy of them all and isntead the goal is to bring zeldas soul back and undragon her or something would have been a cool idea tbh tho i know its unrealistic

--ganondorf is cool and all, but tbh he feels more like the evil miasma goop guy than anything else --why are the old sonau ruins in hyrule so different from the rest? like we know now that they arent actually a civilization from the sky alone but were even in the underground too, and all of their ruins have that blocky white style to it, the supposedly sonau ruins in phirone for example, albeit they share the dragon theme the style on the outside is very much different? and the ancient ruins from the other races dont match it either --are the sheikah descendants of the mixing of sonau and hylians? the white hair and third eye theme would fit to the only alive sonaus we see having white hair (fur?), the literal third eye and their affinity to techonology similar to the sheikah, and zelda having both light and time powers would make sense if its yet another descendant thing, but that would mean zelda was at least part sheikah .. (ngl white haired zelda might look pretty neat actually) but also … it didnt seem like sonia and rauru have been together all that long and no mention or even hint to them having children … which given that both of them die would be an important thing to mention no?

--putting in all the amiibo stuff is cool and annoying at the same time, i spent 5 hours fighting my way throguh the underground to follow treasure maps and found 3 nigh identcal link hats from past games in a row, then two other parts of similar, then two aiimbo weapons and then jsut yesterday another one from a bigger quest that i expected more of; getting the armor sets of past games is cool if you want them but if i did i would have just gotten the amiibos back in botw, my inevntory already feels super bloated with all the new and old armor sets and now the amiibo stuff as well even tho i have like .. half of it all atm (and dont go and argue 'oh so complaining about more content for free???' yes. yes i am.)

--the story feels, espeically once you see the last cutscene, very …. uncomfortable to me if dare to think about it more than just taking everythign as its said to you, like … the oh so perfect descednants of the gods(what) marry a normal hylian lady and sourround themselves with perfetly obedient faceless servants of the other races so the perfect and good kingdom tm is born and oh suddendly theres an evil brown man (makign him grey doesnt change the implications, if anything, it makes it worse bc they wont even stand for it and instead are trying to hide it behind uuuuh no no its fine hes blue actally kinda way) from the desert that attacks the perfect good kingdom and king, then he swears alliance to them only to betray and murder da queen right away to get his hands on a super power the perfect and good king held and would have never never used it in a bad way nono and now they need to defend it by all means and at the end woohoo zelda has now again the perfect kingdom with no opposition except the yiga who are (as much as i love them) mostly played for laughs or .. well, evil(tm) as epic and cool the dragon fight was, zelda being the slim tiny white/gold/blue dragon and ganondorf being the evil spiky big black and red dragon and them literally being called white/black dragon feels like wow they arent even trying to hide the black and white storytelling huh (i know its a design trope to the bad be black(color) and the good anything else and spiky vs round and soft blah blah but that doesnt make it any better .. maybe even worse? idk)

the way nintendy was keeping stuff a secret and hinting around so much made me feel like it would finally be a little more nuanced and then it turned out to be even flatter than before and all that secrecy(?) was only to keep dragon zelda plotpoint a secret, something that was resolved no problem in the end anyway (i didnt need zelda to stay dragon but .. it all just lost so much weight the way it was done at the end)

You probably weren’t needed on this trip.

You were a talented herbalist in your village, responsible for many of the medicine practices in Ishigami Village. Like your brother, you were known for being a good explorer and a collector of things. You stored herbs and other plants in Chrome’s storage house along with his other minerals.

You were not only Ruri’s friend but doctor for many years. When she was ill, you did everything you could to help cure her of her sickness. Like Chrome, you experimented with different plants and other natural resources in hopes that they could help your friend, even if it was in the slightest. You were the one who brought up the idea that regular spring water bathes could be beneficial to subsiding the effects of her condition. 

When a strange boy your age named Senku came along your village, you instantly took a liking to him for his deep enthusiasm and knowledge. He revealed himself to be one of the many stone statues scattered across the land you grew up exploring, the result of a mysterious attack on society thousands of years prior. His extensive knowledge of the world, and most importantly of medicine, was astonishing. You wanted to learn everything you could from this man of the past.

And Senku shared a similar sentiment with you. He was fascinated by and drawn to your work, your collection and findings. Though they were basic knowledge for him, as a person who lacked the scientific resources he had growing up, your discoveries were impressive. Not only that, but he was impressed with your incredible talent and creativity.

You were definitely not one to be underestimated. There was good reason why you were the herbalist of your village. Even though Senku’s knowledge of medicine surpassed your own, he still heavily consulted with you and valued your input in his plans. From what you’ve learned as an explorer, a healer, and from creating the sulfa drug under Senku’s instruction, your skill and talent grew exceptionally.

Though you were recognized as an important member of the Kingdom of Science due to your skill, knowledge and creativity, you most likely weren’t needed on the Kingdom of Science’s journey across the globe. The more engineers the better, which is why your brother is an obvious choice in most people's minds. Though both you and Chrome were innovative and fast learners, Chrome excelled at both, and was even better at keeping up with Senku’s scientific conversations. Senku and even Francois would qualify as even better doctors for the trip- Senku was the one who directed the village on how to make the sulfa drug that cured Ruri. Even though you spent years helping take care of her, you could never find a cure.

As the next best thing, you were most likely needed in Japan to help the others with their ailments, and though you were saddened you had to leave your friends and family behind, you accepted your responsibility even before it was given to you. But that didn’t stop you from wanting to help out your brother and his team in the ways you knew how.

As Senku was making final preparations on the evening of the trip outside, he heard noise coming from the inside of the lab. Skeptical, he slowly emerged toward it, barely stepping inside when he was suddenly blinded by something pulled over his head. He stuttered and sputtered in surprise, at first thinking he had been restrained by a former member of the Tsukasa Empire. But then he heard a giggle from in front of him and felt that he had full control of his body. He quickly tore off whatever had been thrown onto his head, starting to tell the person off before cutting himself short.

“Hey, now, what’s the meaning of- '' when he looked down, he was surprised to see that he was holding a pirate hat that resembled Ryusui’s own. He heard the chuckle again, and looked up to see his offender. You stood in front of him with a cheeky smile on your face. 

“Sorry I startled you,” you laughed, intertwining your hands behind your back and then gesturing toward the hat with your head. “For you. I asked Yuzuriha to make it so…don’t thank me. I thought it’d be fitting.”

Senku observed the hat for a brief couple of seconds before looking up at you again. “What are you doing in here?”

You stepped off to the side of the table behind you to reveal multiple different pouches, all in the different colors and sizes lined up on the edge of the table. Senku stared confused. “What’s all this?”

“Some resources for the trip. I figured it would be best to give them to you beforehand so as to not waste any time in the morning…” you stepped closer toward the table and gave a quick rundown of what each pouch contained, pointing to each one.

“Chamomile in this bag- I’m sure you know already but make sure to use them quickly. I prepared just this morning so you have some time, but the sooner the better. I have some herbs here for Francois to use in their cooking, too.”

Senku stared down each bag as you went along, completely caught off guard by your assortment. Why couldn’t you just bring all these things along with you in the morning? Why were you treating this as some sort of parting gift-?

Oh.

Senku connected the pieces halfway through your rundown. You assumed that Chrome would be the sole sibling on the Perseus as one of the team’s leaders, and that you would be left behind to help with medical affairs in Japan. It was almost like he had read your mind.

“So…that’s all of it. I hope it can be of some use to you.”

Senku continued to stare with his mouth slightly agape, but eventually he chuckled and was able to find the words.

“How about you hold onto all that until the morning? We’ll load it up with the rest of the luggage tomorrow.”

The following morning, all the villagers stood outside to see the Perseus goodbye and to hear who would be needed on the trip, if they were willing to take on the role. 

The brawn, Kohaku, Taiju and Magma were obviously big ones. When your brother was called up along with Kaseki, you hugged him tight and told him to stay safe, watching him board the ship with a bittersweetness. You were disappointed that you couldn’t be more of an asset to him- you had never parted with your brother your entire lives. But you knew he was capable of himself, and you both could rely on one other to take care of your respective responsibilities. 

A couple of others were called up and made their dramatic debuts onto the ship, and then-

“Our doctor, Y/N!”

You were completely taken aback to hear Ryusui call out your name, and you looked over at Senku for confirmation only to see him already staring at you with a smile.

“I’m a part of the crew?”

“You’re more familiar with the environment than anyone else. The engineers need to put all their attention into the technicalities of the ship, and we need someone in charge of overall quality of life. We can’t have anyone out of commission if we can help it.”

As you boarded the ship, you nudged Senku in the chest as he feigned obliviousness by innocently looking through his papers, and he laughed. 

“You could’ve told me last night.”

“Saves me the exposition.” 

Your brother greeted you with a cheer and a ruffle to your hair. You still could scarcely believe you were a part of the crew even after the ship had left the island and sailed so far that your home looked no bigger than an insect. 

You found Senku leaning over the side of the ship, and you knew it was a not so subtle invitation to join him. You stood beside him and followed his gaze out toward the sea. 

“You were stupid for ever doubting your importance to the Kingdom of Science. Even if you were to have stayed in Japan, your role would’ve been just as important.”

“Such sweet words.”

“I know. It’s weird for me too.”

Senku didn’t expect to find himself as disappointed in your mindset as he was when you expected you’d stay back in Japan. He couldn’t be upset- your reasoning was perfectly logical. Senku could qualify as a doctor, and with Francois’ talents, so could they. But to think that your train of thought would have stemmed from something deeper, from self-doubt and unhealthy comparison. You were always going to be a part of the crew, your experience was invaluable and every necessary precaution should be taken going into uncharted territory. But to think you ever doubted your importance-

You laughed and Senku turned his head to look at you. “We all have crucial roles, Y/N. Don’t doubt yourself.” 

“I know. It was dumb.”

“It was.”

Your gaze remained on the waves against the ship, but Senku's eyes never left your features, the corners of his mouth twitching downward.

If you wouldn't tell them while you were sober, then they shouldn't hear it while you're drunk. Even if their heart was screaming at them to let you speak.

"Let's get you some water and a place to rest for the night, okay?" Taking you gently by the arm, they begin to lead you toward the guest bedrooms. "You can tell me everything, and anything, you'd like to in the morning."

"You do, huh?"

A wide smile stretches across B's lips at your admission. The warmth of their gaze almost let it take on a honey-hue, dazzling gold overtaking the brown. They're not certain what manner exactly you meant, after all the saying wasn't uncommon between you both, but the context, and the events that had continuously happened up until now, give them a good indication, which causes their heart to skip a beat. However, they weren't about to let you confess everything while you were so drunk-- above anything else, you were still their best friend, and they were going to protect you.

"Why don't we talk about this in the morning, okay?" They gently nudge your shoulder, before pushing you down onto the couch they had previously been reclined in. "You know how you get without your beauty sleep."

Wren/Wynn:

A hard look flits over their face at the confession. They're more than aware you didn't mean to tell them but, barring their innate concern about how forthcoming you are when drunk, that doesn't make it any better. The knowledge that your feelings were real, that you felt anything for them to begin with, was troubling in itself-- becoming a nightmare when they take into account the way their heart had skipped a beat when they heard the words.

"That's a mistake, MC," they reply, even though they're well aware you won't remember this in the morning. "One that I refuse to let you make."

Standing, they take in your swaying form and an almost dopey smile stretched across your lips, and sigh, they know they couldn't leave you by yourself. Not now. Or ever, their mind unhelpfully supplies.

"Let's get you somewhere safe for the night."

Nicholas/Natalie:

They didn't hear you correctly, they couldn't have heard you correctly. There's no way that you felt the same way about them. It had to be the drinks you've been knocking back since arriving at the party-- something N had only come to because their best friend and you would be attending; parties had never, and will never, be their scene.

"You--" Their mind blanks on what to say, well aware that you were well past the levels of being considered sober. Wringing their hands together, lightly tugging at their sweatshirt while doing so, N offers you a strained smile. "You should get some rest, MC. I think you've had too much to drink."

Before you could protest, N takes you by the arm and begins to lead you towards a quieter area for you to be able to lay your head down. Desperately trying to ignore the way your words kept echoing within their head. You didn't mean it, they think. You couldn't have meant it.

I think the reader's ability is a great and beautiful choice. It's not overpowering to change the plot or invite plot holes but powerful enough to impact everyday life. It really keeps me asking if the reader is using her ability on a certain situation or not and I really love that feature.

YESSSSS PM READER IS SO FUN TO WRITE like she's alwaysssss fun to write but it's particularly fun being able to write her from the viewpoint of dazai as a civilian who isn't like used to seeing her already. like she's very similar in the original universe but dazai has known her for so long there that he's become used to her yk, meanwhile this dazai sees her in a very fresh light if u get what i mean. it's the change in perspective that's so fun to write here

AND OMG IM GLAD - i was so conflicted about how to phrase/what to make her ability because i didn't want to make it too op but at the same time .. she's a port mafia executive, she needs to have a pretty notable ability, and then i was like wait ... her whole thing is politics and negotiations, so obviously it has to be something along the lines of fucking with ppl's minds/brains, but i needed to obviously whittle that down because mind control is just too ridiculous, so i got the idea of her being able to like induce emotions + states onto people BUT they're able to draw themselves out of it if they have the strength for it.

some things are easier to brush off, but other things aren't. like she can put people to sleep with her ability and they can't really drag themselves out of that because now they're sleeping, and inducing fear in particular is pretty hard for people to draw themselves out of because it spirals quickly. but for negotiations and stuff, when she's making them feel as if she's more trustworthy/more susceptible to taking bad terms, she has to be SO careful & calculated with her every word because any small thing could make them double take and jar them out of the induced state.

actually, in civzai universe, it's going to be really interesting because without dazai there to stop chuuya from using corruption, reader and chuuya had to figure out a way to knock him out of it themselves - which they DID and it involves her ability but it's SOOOO dangerous for her so they end up not really using corruption often. this actually comes up in the next chapter

Ocarina of Time Ganondorf is caught off guard when you rub the bridge of his nose. His eyes widen in shock, and for a split second, he relaxes into the touch, an involuntary sigh escaping his lips. Then, realization hits, and he jerks his head back, eyes narrowing in anger.

"What do you think you're doing?" he growls, his voice low and dangerous. His anger is more out of embarrassment than actual fury, and though he tries to maintain his intimidating demeanor, there's a faint blush on his cheeks. "Never do that again."

Twilight Princess Ganondorf:

Twilight Princess Ganondorf's stern expression softens for a brief moment when you rub the bridge of his nose. He closes his eyes, enjoying the sensation, and a rare, genuine smile graces his lips. However, he quickly regains his composure, pulling back slightly and looking at you with a mix of curiosity and mild annoyance.

"That was...unexpected," he admits, his tone measured. "You have a strange way of getting under my skin. Do not do that in public."

Hyrule Warriors Ganondorf:

Hyrule Warriors Ganondorf is initially taken aback when you rub the bridge of his nose. His eyes close, and he lets out a low, rumbling sigh of pleasure. For a moment, he seems almost vulnerable, basking in the unexpected bliss. When he snaps back to reality, he frowns slightly, more puzzled than angry.

"What kind of sorcery is this?" he mutters, studying you intently. "You have a talent for catching me off guard. Do not make a habit of it."

Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf:

Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf is momentarily disarmed when you rub the bridge of his nose. His stern features soften, and he closes his eyes, a contented sigh escaping his lips. When he regains his composure, he looks at you with a mixture of amusement and suspicion.

"You have an unusual talent for finding my weaknesses," he says, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "I will have to keep an eye on you."

Demise:

When you rub the bridge of Demise's nose, his fierce, menacing expression falters. His eyes close, and he lets out a deep, guttural sigh of contentment. For a brief moment, he seems almost at peace. When he snaps back to reality, his eyes blaze with confusion and anger.

"What manner of trickery is this?" he demands, his voice echoing with fury. "You dare to touch me in such a manner? Do not test my patience, mortal." His anger is tinged with the confusion of experiencing such an unexpected sensation.

The kidnapping - Levi’s pov. ☕️

I never wrote a flashback kinda part before so excuse me if this is not my best work xd still- I hope you enjoy!!

It was too easy. Levi originally wanted to kidnap three individual people. But when he walked home from his grocery run and saw the three siblings head home from school, talking about how they had the house all for themselves over the weekend, planning cute activities to pass time. He knew they were perfect.

Two girls and one boy, exactly what he had in his twisted mind.

It was the afternoon so levi had enough time to head home, organize all the groceries into his fridge. Cook a healthy dinner for himself and then.. work on his plan.

He followed them home and it was perfect once again. Small house, a little away from any main streets. Doesn’t seem like a lot of people live there, and it definitely doesn’t look like anyone would spend their time there at night.

Low income family. If he’s lucky. The investigations would be put down fast, because well.. they’re rebellious teenagers and they probably just wanted to escape from their poor household.

Either way, levi was certain his plan would work. So at exactly one am he made his way to their home, waited until all the lights were off before he carefully picked the lock of the front door.

The house was completely quiet. Even the two cats, sleeping in the living room didn’t notice him. He went upstairs, wearing a ski mask to cover up his face in case anything went wrong.

When he reached upstairs, Levi noticed the bedroom door slightly open and a tiny night light shining through the slit. He quietly stepped inside, pushing the door further open.

There they were.. his little babies. They already looked so adorable even when they’re not wearing the cute outfits he prepared for them.

Levi didn’t want to waste too much time, so he quickly pulled three syringes from his pocket. A strong dose of sedatives.

They were already asleep yes.. but he couldn’t risk having them wake up.

He first injected the needle into Finn, before he moved to his sister, Lacey. She was in the bottom bed of the bunk.

Two down, one to go. And that one is pretty difficult.. Clara is sleeping on top of the bunk bed. He had to climb up.. that would leave a lot of traces.

Fuck it. He’s wearing gloves anyways.

The man took off his shoes before climbing up the latter. The bed creaked slightly which made Clara stir in her sleep, hugging the pillow she’s holding a little bit tighter. So cute…

Okay back to his plan-

Levi reached the top of the bed and started to slowly and carefully crawl over to the girl.

“Mhh?..”

She blinked two times before sleepily opening her eyes. She wasn’t fully awake yet so Levi quickly jammed the needle into her neck, letting the liquid rush through her system.

Phew.. she’s back asleep. The man quickly picked her up, taking her down the latter with him before he laid her down on the floor.

Now he just needed to take them home….

That part was the easiest. He stuffed the triplets in a suitcase each and dragged them downstairs to his truck before he put them inside.

Now he got rid of any trace he might have left before returning to his car. He calmly turned it on and started listening to some music. Levi has a special passion for classical music, so that’s what he decided to go for his 20 minute drive home.

And he didn’t feel a hint of regret or nervousness… no.. he felt calm and collected. Like he wasn’t about to ruin the lives of three teenagers.
