It is.....very difficult to build a website for a business that has no fucking photos???? Of anything!

My boss told me to just right-click and save photos off the websites of the brands we deal. Most of those photos aren't high res enough to look nice on our site 🤦

By implying that children are too stupid and rude to learn about the world and learn how the world works and how to interact with others, you are casting responsibility away from the people who are responsible for that child's upbringing and placing the blame on the children (who don't have the autonomy given to them to be allowed to decide what they want) who can't help what they do and do not learn, often.

If the children aren't okay, then investigate why before turning to thought-terminating clichés of, "Well, the kids are just stupid and dumb and aren't even worth the effort because they're lazy!"

#my art stuff #digital art #baldur's gate 3 #bg3 #astarion #astarion ancunin #this is part of a series I like to call “I’m never settling on a singular detailed artstyle”#I have no consistency in drawing realistic people/characters other than my shapy cartoon style #but I truly don’t get enough opportunity to properly shade anything with art in that style-!!! it always looks weird to me-!!!!!#I think some rude lil worm in my brain is wriggling around telling me it’s a futile attempt at still doing realism #cus I’m one of those “gifted” artists that grew up promising his parents he’ll end up among the big names or whatever #constantly training to become better at art but with realism oil paintings as the goal #you know how it is 😔#I wanna shade my lil funky designs but they never feel good enough to really put energy into or whatever so I compromise with stuff -#- like this where I try to draw characters more accurately while still stylizing them and shading them however I feel like it #which is great and all but I should really learn to give my more relaxed and less perfectionist art a chance #I deserve to enjoy the process and the result without working myself dead #it’s so much easier and rewarding to copy cartoon styles - stylizing realism makes me too anxious of doing it “wrong”#at least cartoon styles give me a goal to reach or a reference to strive towards #man I really should just cut myself some slack altogether #either way - this man is a flustered mess and he’s embarrassed about being called adorable in public or something #being teased in an affectionate way about his sweeter side and stuff #don’t ask why he’s shirtless - anatomy is just a lot more fun for me to draw sometimes #tasteful nudity and all that is extremely gorgeous to me #i need to practice anatomy more cus I just kinda did some shit and went with it this time with a BIT of consideration for muscle structure

i think every university student who has a job and studies at the same time deserves everything they want forever actually

#yeah this is about me #i dont think people realise how fucking hard it is to do both and not go insane #ITS HARD ENOUGH TO DO ONE AND NOT GO INSANE #i wish uni would cut some slack to students who have to work and be more understanding w deadlines and stuff #especially bc jobs act like said job is your entire life and expect you to drop everything when an extra shift comes up #work drains me so fucking much that i just have no physical or mental energy left even back when my shifts were only four hours #how do you expect me to go to a shift then go to classes right after and then spend the evening doing mandatory reading #i rlly wanna know how other people manage it. i really dont think there *is* a way to manage it when you are neurodivergent and Sick #do not get me wrong im grateful to have a job and be able to work i just wish i didnt need to so i could focus on uni #i feel like im going to end up with a worse degree class than im actually capable of because i just cant spend the time on uni that i want

so in nightwing secret files and origins, there's a hurt/comfort storyline called "lost pages: teen titans." dick's robin and he's grieving for his parents and having a hard time, and he's gone off on his own, and wally comes and finds him. and then in nightwing 139, there's a hurt/comfort story where tim's robin, and he's grieving and he's gotten kidnapped and tempted into trying to resurrect his loved ones, and dick comes and finds him.

both of these comics are wonderful & i would now like to share my favorite parallels.

anyway i love these stories separately but i also love all the little ways they echo each other <333

#i really love post-crisis nightwing comics you guys #something something paying it forward #history doesn't repeat itself but it does rhyme #dick grayson #tim drake #dick & tim #this is a little hard to articulate and obviously the storylines are very different but there's still something compelling to me here #both about dick and tim's similarities and about the role of friendship in their lives #one aspect of dick and tim's brotherhood that i like a lot is that in some ways in his relationship with tim #dick is often the kind of friend that his titans friends have been to him - and i find those parallels really moving #often he's got an instinct for the right thing to say or do because tim's dealing with things he's been through before #and he also ends up kinda low-key revisiting some of his own issues because tim has a bunch of the same ones #because their issues are so similar dick's attitude toward tim is sometimes kind of a proxy for his attitude toward his younger self #like in graduation day when he's being hard on tim in pretty much the exact ways he's hard on himself #and donna's pushing him to be more understanding but of course that's the precise thing that dick's bad at doing #because he doesn't know how to cut himself any slack ever about anything #which makes it doubly touching to me when he gets past that #because it's not just about extending grace to tim but also to himself #which is really hard because it's really hard for dick to forgive himself for anything #so it's the collision of his uncompromising attitude toward himself and his love for tim #and the love always wins in the end *cries*#parallels

i was interested in there being a "rebel" character in the game, or well, a revolutionist! though one thing that throws me off about him is the fact that he just cannot consider david being secretive about his true personality. and out of all the characters, you'd probablyyy most likely guess as xander to be more open-minded to whether or not david's hiding a lot about his true attitude, because xander is constantly fighting systems that may appear to not have anything wrong with it first until you look deeper and see how corrupt many systems in the world are. yet it feels as if with xander, what he stand for isn't consistent.

Do you realize how "unnecessary" it was for you to ask this? I shouldn't even dignify this with a response but I'm gonna say this once so no one else asks me this again. I have over 50+ asks in my inbox anon💀. I received multiple requests (and counting!), why would I go through several asks to announce which I'm responding to or not? I even made a list of requests I am gonna get to eventually and I didn't even have to do that but I wanted to so I can be polite. Most other readers on here don't do that and they dont give a shit and answer when they feel like it. Unless you're gonna be my intern and go through every single message that I receive, then don't bother rushing me. In fact, it makes me want to do it less. Maybe you should be patient or tip $2 dollars like everybody else does if you want to see your request done that badly. I'm not really understanding why you couldn't just wait like everybody else does to see a reading done since I am providing a free service and the readings are just for entertainment, it's never that serious. This is really rude of you to say to someone and frankly, I'm disappointed. Mind you, it is a holiday in my country and I just posted a very detailed astrology post two days ago. Or do you only come to my page when it's convenient for you? I am allowed to rest and I could go days, months, or even years without answering a request because I can. At the end of the day its my blog! I can do whatever I want with it. I am not going to bend over backwards and make myself uncomfortable for people who do not care about me. I will get to these readings whenever I feel like it because A. it's supposed to be for fun for everyone around, including myself - B. this is a free service - and C. This is not my job!
