part of the reason I think I refrain from complimenting ppl if I can help it, especially irl, is bc of ocd, hypersexuality, and possibly hyperromanticism related thoughts that make me really anxious that Im going to actually mean it sexually or romantically or have it come off as flirting or sexual harassment even though thats not my intent at all and the compliments aren't even inherently related to romance or sex or even appearance lol
