"Stay," a voice whispers as you get up, warm lips pressed against the shell of your ear. "I'll get your drink."

"If only you'd listen to someone else like that," your best friend scoffs the moment you're seated again.

"Hah?" You ask, hackles rising.

"You know exactly what I'm referring to," Mina scoffs yet again, staring you down. Or at least, she's trying.

Your best friend of almost twenty years might just be as bossy as you are, but that doesn't mean you bow to her whims. Like she'd do it for you...

"What are we talking about?" Kirishima leans in, propping his head on his girlfriend's shoulder.

"How my best friend in the world does not listen to me." Mina points one pointy nail at you. "Especially considering I'm the one planning her surprise party."

"Please," you scoff, "like it could have been a surprise. You could never keep a secret from me. I'm just taking care of it."

"Bakugo!" Mina calls for the kitchen where your fiancé went seconds ago to get you another drink. "Help me here! Your fiancée's still trying to weasel her way into planning her own surprise party."

"Like hell, I'm helping you," Bakugo scoffs, looking down his nose at her. "And if my Baby doesn't trust your taste, I fully trust hers." He leans down to kiss you, pressing the glass into your hands.

"But I'm getting the flowers tomorrow."

"But-" You try to intervene but one look from him has you silent.

"See!" Mina asks Kirishima, pointing at the two of you. "One look and she shuts up. It never works when I do it."

"Yeah, but it's Bakugo," Kirishima offers like it's all the explanation needed.

"Do you ever listen to somebody?" Bakugo asks, raspy morning voice cutting through the Silence. You barely keep yourself from flinching, but the smirk on his lips tells you that he noticed. It seems he loves surprising you the most, mainly because you pride yourself in not getting surprised.

"I listen to a lot of people," you claim as you return to checking the Buffet table. You'd asked for Vegan Options and an egg-free dessert for the new secretary. Sweet-tooth, but highly allergic. It happens.

"You hear them," he says, "but you don't listen. Because I definitely heard Yukon tell you that he had the Buffet under control yet you're checking his work."

"And rightly so," you point out. "We're missing the egg-free dessert option."

"So?"

"So? I asked for it. He said he'd get it done. Do I have to do everything myself here? Apparently so."

"Sit down," he orders calmly, and you'd maybe wonder about his lack of temper had you not experienced him being like that around you for the last three years. Apparently, Bakugo turns into the chillest little prankster you could think of, but only around you. "I'll get it done."

You want to say something, but you decide against it. You've seen Bakugo deal with other stuff before, stuff that was definitely more important than getting an egg-free dessert for the new secretary. You know he can get this done.

"Fine," you huff, "But make it quick. I still need to go over the new recruits with you."

"Have I ever kept you waiting?" He asks as he turns away, leaving you flustered.

"Maybe we should appoint her for Class President," Sato offers quietly, but not quietly enough. "She's managed to talk Mina down in less than five seconds and it doesn't look like she takes shit from anyone."

"The title of Class President is-"

A loud boom interrupts whatever Iida has tried to say. When the smoke clears, there's only a small force field keeping Bakugo from strangling Kaminari, who looks a lot less frightened than anyone in his position should be.

"Calm down, will you?" You ask, looking down at Bakugo from where you're standing. Keeping up the force field is taking its toll, but you'd rather puke than admit to it. Not in front of Bakugo at least. "Aren't you better than that?"

Surprisingly, that seems to work. He calms down quickly, leaning back in his chair with a scoff. "True." He says, but his blood-red eyes don't leave you. It feels like a Challenge. One you're not sure you'll win.

Jason couldnt help but give his entire family the side eye. Seriously Bruce? A family dinner? Family dinner with thier nieghbors?? That he has a crush on ???!!! Pppfff oh yeah this was going to work out swimmingly. Whatever.

Jason didn’t know why he felt so knotted up inside about the whole thing. It’s not like they were going to find anything and “Brucie” has had plenty of guests over before. And yet Jason felt snubbed, Bruce knew Jason wouldnt be able to join in. He was still legally dead and couldnt just pop into joint family dinner like “oh yeah I got better dont worry about it”. No Jason would need to steer clear of the mannor all together.

Meanwhile his siblings would get to tease dad about his crush, grill the Masters family and talk to Damiens new friend. Because seriously Damian making friends, with a normal girl? Just wow. Good for the kid, because he defiantly hadn’t learn that from Bruce he scoffed for fucking hells sake even Vad had a sketchy criminal history on his buisness Dalv co.

It stung, it was so fucking stupid but it stung. Why didn’t Jason get to be there. Why didn’t he get to shovel talk Bruce’s crush, eat Alfred’s food, sit around awkwardly, and tease Damian relentlessly?

Jason knew why. He did. Logically Jason knew it wasn’t an attack on him. That Bruce hadn’t purposefully done things this way to exclude him. That he was/n’t an embarrassment, dangerous and unwanted to meet Bruce’s new crush because he couldnt be trusted. It wasn’t personal, it’s not personal.

Damian had been hanging around the Masters manor regardless of fathers …complications of the heart. He and Violet needed to plan a strategy of course. The plan had to be seem-less to even stand a chance of working. A part of that involved English lessons which thankfully doubled as a cover. Damian huffed to himself as Violet failed to write neatly again. It was odd to watch, she could speak with a fair sense of clarity and understood difficult concepts when spoken to but written language seemed to illude her. It was frustrating to watch, her hands moved wrong twisting against the pencils and often snapping them. Damian watched as her hand seemed to twitch uncomfortably as she finished.

“You’re bad at this.”

“Gee thanks I had no idea.”

“Tt. It’s ridiculous anyone as old as you should know how to read and write at a higher level than a sixth grader.” Damian felt his hand fall down his face, “You text just fine though, your horrid grammar aside.” Meaning a big part of the problem was physical….now that he thought about it … he hadn’t seen Violet without her human disguise despite already knowing her secret. Both forms had gloves. There’s something else going on here.

The assassin felt ice at his back.

“Let me see your hand.”

That coldness remained as a small warmth was thrown against his chest as she unthinkingly shoved her hand in his face and ate away at her sugary processed snack- dirtying her practice writing paper further.

Taking off her gloves gave sight to three short claws black from tip to knuckle, two fingers incased in a familiar metal. He hadn’t expected it at all, was Violet allowing him to see this purposefully? A limitation of her glamor? A benefit of their bond?

Damian dropped the others hand to glance at the text. Father did what!?

“What do you enjoy eating?” What do demons even eat? Can demons be vegans? She does look a tad like a ram.

“Red and dad make the best cakes!!!”

“Tt. I meant real food, and I’m sure you will change you mind at tomorrows dinner. Alfred’s desserts are superior to all else.” He planned to ignore her millionth mention of “Red”, she was beyond obsessed and he was not falling for the bait… again. Ugh.

Violet stilled, “Oh are you staying for dinner tomorrow.”

“No it would seems our fathers have gotten it into their minds to bring us all into their nonsense.” Damian huffed.

Violet groaned, “Uhhh nooo I don’t want to.”

“Yes well as detestable as it will be -“

“Not that I just, I don’t like eating in front of humans.”

A delicate eyebrow rose at the statement.

“This isn’t “real food”, human food isn’t my food.” Blood guts crunching on a heart like an apple, wide green eyes staring at her horrified. Scared.

Damian thought about it more. Pencils breaking, the way her hands shook and holding a fork was probably difficult for her?

“So what do you consider food to you?”

“Anything.”

“Violet.”

“Anything I’m a scavenger demon …” her eyes rolling at the look on his face, “Tendons, bone, eyes, decorative flowers and overgrown weeds. You could say we are real … vultures.” She chuckled at her inside joke.

The way she spit out the term “scavenger demon” had him reeling a-bit. There was an obvious issue there… somewhere. Fear slithered threw the bond unwillingly, self deprecating and shallow. He at least understood this feeling well.

The feeling that screamed :

Well he supposed he at least knew a good dish to have made for her. Hopefully Alfred wouldn’t mind a change in the menu.

I ran 5.2 miles today- in 12 minute increments.. because i can do anything for 12 minutes. i'm not sure but i think its harder to stop running, take a 3 minute break and start again. I STILL cant get my music to play.. its so freaking frustrating. me checking in with my body- everything feels alright, no reason to stop. .. no reason to stop no reason to stop no reason to stop... even if my brain is telling me otherwise.... i hit the steps a little funny and my ankle felt it.. still no reason to stop. and afterwards.. i just want to keep running. i shower and put on regular clothes even though i want to put on workout clothes and run. I have been struggling these past few weeks to get out and run. part of it as silly as it sounds is because i dont have my music. i cant figure it out. part of it is the weather and part of it is just me. one of my reps asked me what i was doing new years eve.. chilling at home. she tells me we are supposed to get drunk. oh thanks.. i didnt know. she looks at me like im crazy.. like the time i told her was just the clouds coming down to visit us. I made myself good foo, i'm 1 documentary in. Madison is on 2nd shit today. She texted me her schedule so i knew she had to be in at 3.. at 2 i started wondering if i should say something.. i mean, shes an adult and can get herself to work but i know she has to be exhausted.. at 215 i went into her room and asked if she had work today.. yeah bro.. this is why i hate 2nd shift.. she eventually got up.. she asked me to please make her bed.. i did.. she asked nicely and she's been making it everyday.. tylenol pm on her dresser.. not a big deal. it felt like a big deal, but its not. it wasnt open.

I thought of a new business.. rent a dog.. RAD.. i cant have a dog. i dont want a cat. if i could rent a dog on weekends it would be great. like tonight, i would love to have a dog here with me. we could snuggle, i'd take him for a walk, maybe a few times.. i'm surprised no one has thought of it. MAdison asked for a cat- where are we putting the cat litter? In the basement. How often are you going to clean it? everyday. NO.

Tomorrow i am making vegan soup. I haven't made soup in a while. I got a nice loaf of Italian bread. I'm not 100% sure what kind i am making but.. carrots, onion and celery..i have to figure out if i'm adding chick peas and orzo or lentils, tomatoes and special noodles that i dont have that. I also dont have the canned lentils sooo.. i have no idea what is open tomorrow. I do want to run. maybe not as far.. both my knees hurt after my run. i was thinking, i'm going to need a way to carry water with me if i am going to be running 5+miles in the heat. I am going to have to figure this shit out. I have to figure out what i am doing this summer for a vacation.. so far i have tried to get concert tickets to 2 different shows. I have time. I have time to figure it all out. a lady in the grocery store said ohh thats my girl -- to me.. it seemed like an odd thing to say. my life if is one odd moment after another and I absolutely love it..

Haha, yes, I was in Venice and in Florence and other Italian cities. I just love travelling! It's not I am from wealthy family or something, I am not. I have no savings, because I spend all my money on traveling. I was working for 3 month everyday for 12-13 hours in a pub so I could spend half month in South Korea. Ah as for me... I have health problem again. My leg suddenly got swollen almost 3 weeks ago and now it hurts a lot so I cant walk. I already have usg of veins and x-Ray but it showed nothing so tomorrow ill call another doctor and make appointement.

Fortunately my trip was amazing! What I saw? Well I love museum so we went to musaum of torture and museum of sex toys. Honestly the second one was my fave - the have sex toys from all around the world and from different periods. I also had Czech McDonalds which is so tasty! And for the first time in ny life i was in a vegan/vegetarian restaurant and i truly liked the food!

As for adventures. It was my firdt. I love traveling but unfortunately i have no friends to travel with. So I used to travel with family and prague was my first, alone travel abroad to visit a friend. I hope i can do it more often because world has so much to offer. And you know what? Our lives are so short there is no point of wasting them on being afraid to risk!

Chris’s Point Of View:

The night wasn’t even close together and it was already going so well.

Y/n was perfect, practically an angel.

I could tell she was breaking out shell, showing more of her personality she’d been so afraid to show me.

It was great. I loved how excited she got about the smallest things, how she was a good sport and didn’t fuss over loosing games.

Through all my relationships I’ve craved to have someone like y/n and here she was and she was so great.

Gosh get a grip meatball can’t be falling in love on date one.

Finally we get up to the top of the Ferris wheel, stopping so we could get a great view of Boston.

I watched as you leaned over on the side just enough not to tip over but to get a good view.

How your y/c eyes lit up just like the city below us, the curls that rested on your forehead dancing in the wind.

Perfect.

I pull out my phone opening the camera settings.

I snap a quick photo of you. You just looked so peaceful.

Shit my flash!

My eyes go wide, embarrassed that I’d just been acting like a certified creep ten seconds ago.

She turns to face me comfusion readable on her face.

“Um y/n I’m sorry I- I just thought you looked beautiful.” I stammered.

She slips her tiny hand into mine giving me a small smile.

“Can I at least see it.” She asks

We leave the carnvial to go to another beautiful location I wanted to show y/n.

This could quite literally brighten her night.

“It’s just this way.” I instruct holding her hand helping her down the pathway to the beach.

“Are you taking me somewhere to kill me.” She jokes

“Sweetheart if I wanted to kill you, it would have already been done.”

I hear her let out small chuckle underneath her breath.

She trusted me.

“We’re here.” I announce

Her eyebrows raise as she looks around observing nothing but a bland beach.“We’re where?” She ponders

I pick up a small rock tossing it in my hand. “Okay now you’re scaring me.” She says slowly backing away.

“Don’t be.”

With that I threw the rock down on the sand allowing the bioluminescent plankton to give off their blue hue.

I hear the fimaliar gasp escape y/n’s lips as she’d done all night in excitement.

“Chris! What is this?”she quipped

“Bioluminescent planktons, I discovered these a while back when I was having a not good day and needed a walk. Cheered me up immediately.” I explain

Walking toward my side her eyes never leave the ground. “Wow this is astonishing.” She states

“You wanna see something else?” I ask a devient smirk planted on my face.

“You’re just full of surprises.”

“You have no idea.” I returned.

I grab her hand leading her over to the shoreline. “Take off your shoes.” I instruct

She does just that waiting for further instruction.

“You see this.” I say pointing down to the water.

“See what?”

“This!” I smirk lightly splashing her with water

Please be into it.

I watched as she stood there for a moment, mouth agape wiping the salt water off her face.

My heartbeat sped up hoping she wouldn’t curse me out and storm off.

“Oh really that’s what you wanna do?” She said smirking peeling her leather jacket off.

“Yeah that’s what I wanna do.” I mock rolling my arm and pants legs up.

“Fine but I was I raised off avatar and have a strong belief I’m a waterbender.” She jokes

Finally she splashes me immediately damping my sweater.

I’m impressed that she was able to get the much water on my with her small hands.

I attempt to return the favor but she runs away giggling.

I chase after her effortlessly catching up, scooping her in my arms bridle style.

“Stop, stop I’m sorry put me down.” She stammers laughing loudly.

“Nope only soaking you will do for forgiveness.” I say carrying her to the spot with our belongings.

“But Chris I just had wash day.” She pouts

“Wash day?” I question.

“You’re too cute, and caucasian.” She replied

“Cute huh?” I tease.

There she goes again hanging her head low and avoiding eye contact, she was so adorable.

“You know what I want.” I stays breaking the silence

“What’s that?”

“Ice cream.” I say

Finally we pull up at an ice cream parlor that looks like it was plucked straight out of the fifties.

I notice you began to shiver. It was late at night and the cool Boston breeze was now turning into a chilling freeze.

Should I do it? Will she be comfortable?

Making sure not to startle her, I cautiously wrap my arm around her shoulders pulling her into me, hopping to add some type of warmth to her body.

She just smiles up at me leaning her head into my shoulder. She fit into my side like a puzzle. I let the tropical sent of her hair infuse my lungs.

God she smelt great.

We get up to the glass display of ice cream. It was so colorful with so many different assortments of flavors I didn’t know which one to pick.

You were bent over peaking through the glass. Squinting trying to decide which ice cream flavor to choose from.

“Decided yet?” I ask

“I think so, can I have the chunky monkey suprise.” She asks the waitress.

The waitress nods grabbing a warm scooper for dig out your flavor. “What about you. what’s your take?” She asks me retrieving her ice cream.

“I think I’ll have what your having.”

“Good choice.” She playfully sasses

I watch her walk over to grab us a a few napkins and extra spoons.

Thoughtful.

“Sir.” The cashier says holding my ice cream for me. “Sorry, how much?” I ask.

“It’ll be $5.78.” The cashier resports.

I dig into my wallet pulling out one of my many cards handing it over to the cashier.

I felt your brown eyes burning into me, watching me.

I wasn’t sure if it was a good thing that you were or a bad thing that you were.

“Let’s go, it late and im sure you work tomorrow.”

“Yes I do.” She mutters almost pouting.

We walk to my car. Reaching it I press the unlock butting watching the inside light up.

"Buttercream? No that wont do. Vanilla with a touch of banana or Strawberry? Shoot! What about...hmmm...." You focused on the ingredients so hard that you were developing a light headache. Meanwhile, your husband sat across from you at the kitchen table, scrolling through his laptop for themes and present ideas. "Y/N, just settle on chocolate and call it a day." Kai announced while his eyes hovered on a Circus theme. He shuddered lightly at the thought of animals being involved. 'Absolutely not' he thought to himself. You sighed and put the ingredients list down. "I cant settle on Chocolate. I'm worried that someone might have an allergy to it. I'm also so worried about the vegan adults that might be here. What about the picky eaters too? Kai, I feel like I'm going insane right now." You gripped the sides of the chair you sat on. He peeked up at you and notices your incoming distress. He sighed and stood up to move behind you. He softly gripped each of your shoulders and began to give you an impromptu massage. "Stop worrying so much about it so much, Angel. Just do chocolate cake since its the brat's favorite flavor. We can go with a vegan cupcake option that should be safe for the people with chocolate allergies as well. As for the others, there will be other food and even beverage options. You're working so hard for people I dont even care about. This is all for my son and no one else but him. His happiness is my only concern."

You sighed and reached up to place a hand on your husband before turning to smile sweetly at him. "Kai, you're being sweet today." You teased him and he scoffed. "Anyway, I know you only want to focus on Kaishi but having other kids here for the first time, other than Ishida, is like his dream come true. It took me a lot of time to get on the parents good sides. It took a lot of time for them to want to bring other kids around Kaishi because if the yakuza affiliations. Had it not been for the fact that you've began working into charity for the city, I dont think anyone would've given us a chance. Bow we have parent friends, and now Kaishi has a chance for an amazing birthday this year. Let's not mess this up, okay? That means NO EXCESSIVE GERMAPHOBIA, and NO ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOR okay?" You drilled it home at the end. He sighed in annoyance. "Ugh fine. I'll try to conversate with the other scum as if they never insulted the yakuza before. You had better be lucky I appreciate you and Kaishi at this point or this wouldn't be happening." Kai complained before pulling his medical mask down and kissing you lightly on your lips. "You two are being icky again. I'm going to tell Grandpa on you guys." Kaishi's voice brought you two back to reality. "Oh hush, and mind your business." Kai said as he ruffled his son's short hair playfully. Kaishi giggled and swatted the gloved hand away. He took a seat at the kitchen table next to Kai's laptop and peeked over to see what was on the screen. While you went to fix him some oatmeal, his father bolted to the seat and slapped the laptop closed. "No peeking. Havent you any manners?" Kai fussed lightly while Kaishi smiled. "Its okay daddy, I already know you two are planning my birthday for tomorrow." The boy said proudly. "That may be so, but it doesnt mean we cant at least surprise you with the decorations and food." Kai explained. You placed breakfast in front of Kaishi and sat down with your boys. Pops had just entered the kitchen at this point. "Family breakfast? Dont mind if I do." He smiled and took a seat next to you. "Grandpa, what will you give me for my birthday?" Kaishi asked excitedly. Kai flicked his cheek. "Dont be rude brat, respect your elders." He scolded him as Pops laughed. "Oh calm down, Chisaki my boy. My grandson is very calm at this age compared to how you used to act." Pops said with a smirk as you laughed and Kai blushed lightly with embarrassment. "Anyway, my Grandchild your gift will have to remain a surprise until tomorrow." Pops winked and Kaishi groaned. "Aw man. Well, mom/dad? What will you get me?" He turned to look at you in anticipation. You put a finger to your chin to think for a second. Then you snapped and made an 'Ah-Ha' expression. "I'm going to get you a fancy suit! Maybe I'll get some toys too. Just maybe, you'll have to wait and see." You teased him and he smiled. "Daddy, what about you?" He looked at Kai for an answer. "Just like Pops said, it will be a surprise. However, I'll take the time now to ask you what you want as a gift from all of us. It'll serve separately from the gifts we'll get you so dont worry." Kai watched his son expectantly as Kaishi searched his little mind. Seconds later he piped up excitedly:

"SMOOGLY!!!" He shouted happily and raised his arms dramatically in the air. You and Pops laughed while Kai tilted his head in confusion. "Smoo-what? Are you well? Are you speaking in tongues???" Kaishi giggled at his father's confusion. You turned towards Kai to explain. "Kai, Smoogly is a character from Kaishi's favorite show. He's this giant lollipop that dances and sings. Yknow, kids love that stuff." Kai stared at you for a second before nodding. Then he turned his attention back to Kaishi eating breakfast finally. "Alright then, you want Smoogly then that's what you'll get." After breakfast, Kaishi went to call Ishida on the phone. You monitored in awe, gushing as your baby talked to his little crush over the phone. The two were fast friends, and she was the first/only child in the class to accept and support Kaishi to the fullest degree. Meanwhile, Pops went to the backyard to water the flowers and feed the Koi in the pond. Kai headed out to the car to call Kurono/pick him up. "Chrono, I know I've given you the off day but I need a favor." Kai spoke on the car wireless phone while he drove. "Yeah man, what's up?" Hari answered from the other side. He was currently face deep in a 3rd bag of chips as he reclined on his sofa. "The brat's birthday is tomorrow and it's his first big one with other parents and children expected to be there. He wants some actor there to perform or something. Some thing called Smogie or Smothly or something like that."

"OHHHHH!!!! You're talking about Smoogly!" Hari shouted excitedly, his voice boomed over the car speakers. "Yeah whatever that mess is. Anyway, help me track him down and I'll give you tomorrow off to repay you from today. You can also have some leftover cake." Kai offered him. "Bet!" Kurono answered shortly before hanging up and getting ready. In moments Kai was at his door to retrieve him. The two men drove around for a bit while Kurono did some searching online. Lucky for him, it wasn't that hard to find Smoogly's booking information. "Found it, Kai. It says here that we can email and make a down payment, or call the home offices for a response in about...14 days." Kai almost slammed on the breaks. "14 days??? No that's not possible for a booking that could be denied. My Kaishi's birthday is tomorrow. We need to get this Smoogly there as soon as possible." He felt a bit of panic set in. Kai would never forgive himself if he couldn't get his son's biggest wish for his birthday. "Hey man chill. We'll just go to his office and speak to him directly. I mean, we've got a little pull when it comes to money. Also, we're yakuza so..."

"I know what you're thinking Chrono, and the answer is no. We cant push too many buttons or we'll end up leaving the gray area in which we operate in. I cant afford to get arrested on Kaishi's birthday." Hari rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Whatever man. Just take a left onto the main freeway and we should reach the exit in like 30 minutes. After that, we just follow the main road for 4 more minutes, take a right at the stop light, and turn off the Broadway drive. Smoogly's office should be right between a steak restaurant and a car dealership." Hari explained the directions. Kai nodded and the two were on their way. Once they made it to the offices, they took a number and sat in the waiting room. The wait wasnt uncomfortable to Kai...it was the old man across from them that kept coughing that made him uncomfortable. He felt hives pop up on his arms. Luckily the two were called before he went insane! Only minutes later they were standing before a chubby man smoking a cigarette behind a desk. He had dark hair, and was balding right in the middle of his head. His skin was just a step away from being super pale (no doubt because he had the costume on a lot) His noticable feature was the large mole on his cheek. He was clearly a foreigner from some city somewhere, thanks to his accent.

"Alright, what can I do for you two men? Wait a minute, you two are the tax guys right?"

"Uhhh, no. No we're here to inquire about an opening to hire you? The pay will of course be-"

"Yeah yeah yeah. Pay doubled blah blah. I've heard this a million times before. I get bastards like you that come in here every single day asking to pay extra just so I can come to your event. The moms are even worse since they also think they're entitled to my services." The chubby man interrupted Kai. "Please. It's my son's birthday. You see, this birthday is special because he's never had-"

"Pshhh...yeah buster, you're kid is special. Just like everyone else that's come in here before you to say the same thing. Bottom line is that I ain't doing it. If you want my services than file through email or take it up with the front desk. Deposits non-refundable if you get denied. Have a nice day." He put out the cigarette and picked up a rather inappropriate nude magazine. Kai looked at Chrono and sighed as if to say Hari can take over. Hari smiled darkly and went to approach the desk. The chubby man hadn't looked up from the magazine as he spoke. "Look man, I said piss off. What, you didnt get the picture the first time or-" he immediately froze and turned his attention to Hari when he heard the click of the gun. When he turned, he was staring down the glock.

Hari spoke up darkly. "Hey buddy, I'm a changed man but that doesn't mean shit is sweet. I've killed a dozen people before and I'm not afraid to go to prison. Either you do my nephews birthday party tomorrow, or we wear your face on a memorial T-Shirt. Fuck is it gonna be? Eh???" The man gulped and shakily reached his finger out to the voice machine on his desk. "Deborah cancel all my appointments tomorrow, I've got a birthday to go do." Hari and Kai smiled when they heard the voice reply 'Right away, sir.' They bid the man goodbye and left the office. The next day, Kaishi rushed to the backyard after taking a quick shower and getting ready. It was decorated beautifully with bounce houses, a splash area, party games, an extensive food/present table, swings, slides, etc. Most importantly, the parents actually showed up with their kids. Kaishi almost cried tears of happiness when he finally had friends to play with. Meanwhile, you and Pops chatted with the other parents until Smoogly arrived to perform. The kids absolutely loved every bit! Every once in a while, the Lollipop turned to look at Kurono standing in the corner, smirking menacingly and daring him to slip up just once. Smoogly quickly turned around and kept performing. At the end of his shift, he was paid extra just as Kai promised, and Kaishi got to take a picture with him. Finally it came time for presents. Kaishi was happy to receive so many gifts, but he was more eager to get his gifts from you, Kai, and Pops (even Hari got him a secret gift at the last minute). Kaishi smiled at the wooden box Pops had given him. When he opened it, it revealed a small pin on a soft cushion. It was shiny and brand new. It was the symbol of the Hassaikai, the infamous flower design. "My grandson, when your father was younger I had given him this very same gift. Please be sure to take good care of it." He gently placed a hand on Kaishi's head. The boy nodded excitedly and passed the box for you to hold while he opened up the remaining gifts. It was a surprise jacket from you to him. It was just a smaller version of Kai's jacket! Plus that suit you promised, and a few other Smoogly themed toys as well. From Hari, he recieved a new helmet for his new bike. Finally from Kai he received a matching mask. With the suit and the jacket, he was the matching embodiment of his very on father (aside from inheriting some of your skin tone depending on your color, my dear reader).

This was truly the perfect birthday.

HOW TO STOP BINGING

Hey guys,

I see a lot of people who are struggling with binge eating in this Community. And I don't mean the "oh I ate over 1000 calories" binging, I mean the 3.000 -over 10.000 calories binging.

My Story : I always had a fast metabolism and was always the skinny girl who would eat a lot. Then I discoverd the pro-ana community and I thought I could become even skinnier, so I started restricting, but I always stayed over 1000 calories. I lost a lot of weight people where concerned and always commenting on how skinny and unhealthy I looked blablabla, I loved it. But then I would have these cravings and I would eat a lot, so I got back to my starting weight, over the years it got worse because I would try to restrict during the week and always binge on the weekend. Holidays where the worst, because I had no routine and would binge every day. Last year I finshed high school and started a gap year in the USA and maybe going to the US with binge eating disorder was the worst Idea of my life. In the last 8 month I gained over 22 lbs /10 kg. A lot of shit happend at home and I wasn't there, so I would eat my feelings, I would stay in bed for weeks and eat 10 whole meals a day until I thought I would die from a heart attack because I ate so much. I have a 9 to 5 job in an Office right now, so I dont move a lot. Most days I get up go to Work and have lunch, go back home have dinner, eat a lot of Snacks watch TV go to bed. But since a few weeks I am binge free, I still eat too much and not healthy all the time, but it's getting better slowly and I already lost some Weight. So here are my things that help me.

🌻Accept it.

You have Binge eating disorder, Yeah it sucks, and it's gonna happen again! Nothing sucks more than having this anorexic beauty standart /goal in your head, but binge eating at the same time. But this is where we are right now, so accept it. And dont promise yourself to never binge again, this will put you under pressure and you will most likley binge again! Promise yourself to get better.

🥗 Eat healthy.

All this processed food will lead to more cravings and wont make you full. Also healthy food is lower in calories, more nutrional and will make you feel better.

📺 Eat mindful.

Don't eat in front of any media. If you have time prepare your food and eat slowly. I used to eat every meal while watching something on my Phone, to the point where I couldnt watch something without craving food. Yeah eating in silence is boring but it will stop you from over eating. Also dont eat in your room!

🕛Eat regulary

Try to eat at the same time every Day. That doesnt mean you have to eat exactley at 12pm but try to eat around that time. What Works for me is having 3 big meals a day. But there are so many options like 3 meals two snacks etc. Just try to have a routine. It helps especially when you have trouble knowing when you are hungry or full. I try not to eat after 7pm because I know that thats mostly emotional /binge eating. And dont freak out if something unplanned is happening and you can't eat at that certain time. Its ok thats life. Try again tomorrow.

👭Eat with friends.

Especially when you feel like binging. Call a friend, do a sleepover. Eating with others will stop you from eating like a pig. Maybe you will still overeat but at least not until your stomache hurts.

😴 Get enough sleep.

If you lack of sleep your body is trying to get the energy from food, so you will eat more. Try to get 7-9 hours every night. And have a certain bedtime. I had most of my binges after 10pm but if you sleep you can't eat!

🏡 Get out of the house.

If you are at home it's easier to binge. No one is watching you and you have all the food around you. Try to have something to do every Day. Meet with friends, get a hobby. Even if you have work to do, do it somewhere else like the libary.

🙅Avoid Stress.

Bad feelings like stress will lead to binging. If you have a big project to do and you don't know how to start and you procastinate, that will lead to guild and stress. Start early, ask for help, prepare for a binge. Dont let other people Stress you, especially family members love to tell you how many things you should be doing and how far you are behind and how easy it is to do All of this. Its ok, breathe, especially with Depression and an eating disorder it often feels like you are stuck in life and everyone else figured it out. Its not like that! Your trying! As long as you keep trying you are not stuck!!!

👸Don't compare yourself to others!!!!

This is maybe the most improtant one. Dont compare yourself, yes there are people where it seems like there are perfect, they have all this energy and they are good in everything. But who cares? They are not you, you should only compare yourself with yourself. Everything else will make you feel like you can never do it and you will never be good enough. But if you only Focus on your own progress you will get happy and stay motivated.

🐢 Be slow.

Yes I know we all want to see change as soon as possible. But change takes time. Think about where you would be right now if you made slow but constant progress?! Yeah we see all these people who eat under 1000 calories exercise every day and have straight A's. But you tried that right? It worked for a week and then you binge again. Dont overwhelm yourself Start slow. Start with one challange a week. Set yourself realistic Goals. For example exercise 4 times a week. Thats your goal for the week nothing else. You could stay in bed all Day and eat, as long as you exercise 4 times a week. It works, I promise you wont stay in bed all Day, but if your brain thinks you could then it doesnt feel like restricting and you wont binge. Its So weird but the Moment you tell yourself Im gonna binge again and it's ok, you are less likley to binge. The mindset, I never gonna binge again, is the most dangerous.

⭐Dont be a fucking perfectionist!

I told myself so many times Im gonna eat healthy and then I would eat one drop of olive oil and be like fuck it now Im gonna eat 10.000 calories of junk! There are so many diffrend ways to reach your goal! Not this one perfect way. And even the most perfect people are not always perfect. You dont have to be perfect to reach your goal!!!!!!!! Slow progress!!!! Kill your All or nothing mindest!!

🍕Enjoy your binge.

If you are about to binge, keep calm, Trink some water. Call a friend, prepare your binge food, try to make it more healthy,for example vegan junk food or stuff like hummus and Avocado, wich are tasty and high in calories but healthy. Binging on more healthy food will make you feel better than binging on McDonalds and your skin is not going to break out, also it is hader to eat as many calories with healthy food. Enjoy the food, dont just swallow it!

🚫Dont restrict the day after!

It seems so logic right? I binge, now Im gonna starve the next Day. But this will ALWAYS lead to another binge. Dont skip meals! Move on as if nothing happend!

🤸Learn to fill the void

Lets be honest there are only 2 reason why we binge,1. You don't eat enough and your body is trying to get the nutrition. And 2. you're trying to feel better. Tasty food is releasing Dopamin and we feel good, at least while we are eating. But after you binge you feel disgusting and like a failure. So you have to find something else to fill that void. I read once that for every Bad habit you want to break you need 5 good habits. So find something that makes you happy. Start your Day dancing to your favourite songs. Meet with friends. Exercise. Watch your favourite Show without any distraction. Draw. Masturbate :) whatever makes you happy.

🌈Stay motivated.

Remember, progress is slow. Sometimes you wont see any change, your brain will tell you it's not worth it and to just give up. Remember why you started. Keep a tumblr with stuff that inspires and motivates you, but don’t compare yourself with others! Search for people who have the same problems it's not a race, be Kind to each other motivate each other. And don’t use your whole energy for this one goal, focuse on other things in life, time will go faster that way. Dont search for change in the morrior everyday! You got this!

I’ve noticed lately I’ve only been coming on here and writing/sharing really depressing poems or short pieces of prose/excerpts etc. I’ve actually been doing good the past two days.  I should share more about the good going on in my life on this blog. I guess because it’s like..I don’t know I mostly use this to vent and share my poetry but I guess lately I’ve mostly only been writing when I’ve been depressed or worse.  It’s not that I don’t write positive poems cos I do it’s just, as of late I’ve not been writing as much as I used to and suppose it’s become something again that I’m doing as a coping mechanism and not something I also do out of just enjoyment. Like I enjoy writing but when I write as a coping mechanism the underlying motivators are depression and trying to claw my way out of that pit. When I write happy poems typically it’s not because I NEED to write, you know? It’s because I felt like it, I was inspired and wanted to write not as a necessity to facilitate a quicker recovery from a BPD meltdown but because I just...wanted too cos I enjoy writing I truly enjoy it. I don’t know if I’ve been less motivated to write in general or if I’ve just ended up being really preoccupied with my small business stuff. Also I guess lately I’ve been having a lot more mind fog/issues with speech and cognition and being able to get the words out so it makes sense I’d maybe not be writing as much since it’s not something my brain can concentrate on as easily right now I guess. Either way I am doing pretty damn good right now I’m hoping I won’t have a minor crash tomorrow because today I have made 3 sales via my discount codes as an affiliate for Redbubble and sometimes this can lead me to get overly excited and expectant to get sales again soon and if I don’t cos that is how life is. Then I can get a little bit of a low/crash nothing major just a small crash which honestly I’d rather not get. So I need to try and prevent getting to hyped up for a crash to inevitably come down on me after the hype is over.  It’s a work in progress....I’m a work in progress! I’m gonna go to bed now it’s like 11pm and I am wanting to sleep at a reasonable time. I’ve been eating good the past two days or so as well. Been doing good at avoiding Gluten and keeping within my calorie limits so I’m not binging it can be so easy  to overeat when your at home I mean even when I worked in an office I would graze throughout the day I guess that’s how it is but I’ve been doing good especially to avoid gluten for the most part. I think it still gets into some pesky items like today I managed to buy gluten free gravy and I’m still confused of if Oats contain Gluten always or do they sometimes just highlight it because they cant guarantee it’s gluten free for coeliacs a bit like a may contain milk warning that I ignore because may contain in my eyes is the same as doesn’t contain. Idk Gluten is in SO many things but the point is I’ve managed to buy and/or cut out the main sources of gluten I’ve identified so far. If I am still some how getting gluten in my meals it’s got to be a low amount. I’ve just realised as I’m typing this out I haven’t checked my new fave vegan salad dressing to see if its gluten free man I hope it is! Anyways for now tho I’ve found vegan gluten free meats & yoghurts and so on. I’ve got gluten free pasta & desserts. Actually tbh theres a good amount of vegan AND gluten free desserts which is kinda cool ofc I have them in moderation I have these mini mini choc pots which are only 100 cals each they are tiny but you dont need a lot.  I’ve managed to get my weight down a bit not in two days of course its been over the course of a week just prior to two days ago I was still consuming some gluten in the fake meats which I’ve now stopped. I think some of my weight was probably due to bloating which might explain the gain in the first place.  Man I am rambling now anyways TDLR: Ive been v. negative on this blog I’m gonna try speak about the positives on here too. I’m happy things are good. Getting good sleep eating good gluten is a bitch it gets into everything. I’m making some good sales this month more than I’ve ever made even if it is through affiliate stuff and not in my store so much Ive made a couple sales but not as much as I’ve made through this affiliate stuff. Oh I’ve lost some weight....anddd once again Gluten is in too many things it can suck a dick.  Night night ily all.

Backround : Mexican dad came to the united states, knocked up someone, he left and his mom wasnt able to take care of him. Adopted by a rather racist family and didnt exactly have a good relationship with them.Moved out into a tiny apartment with 3 kitties. He has absolutely NO idea what caused him to finally shift into a coyote. The first time, he panicked.

His favorite place to roam as a coyote along side his wolf mate is Cowan lake campgrounds in Ohio. He has dubbed it his home and loves to dig in the trash for goodies like easy to repair tents, clothes, towels and much more. He thinks humans are stupidly wasteful.

He has an ABSOLUTE HATRED for the stupid "vegan" Cullen family because he believes they're disrupting a delicate and already damaged ecosystem. He has chased off the coven's leader multiple times from hunting around his little territory *Demi is territorial like an actual coyote and so am I *.

He has had a run in with the Volturi. It was the twins he was checking out because he was curious as to what they were doing when Felix caught him by his scruff. In a panic he bit him and took off like no tomorrow yipping and screaming at the top of his lungs in fear. They never did come after him for it.

This is him ranting -> "I don't get it. Vampires are supposed to hunt humans. Why are they going against their true nature? Dont they realise how many bad people in this world need to be taken out? For crying out loud that stupid blonde leader orphaned a sweet little fawn just the other day! Can you believe this Cas?!? As if the earth needed more issues!! What did the mama and her baby do to deserve such a horrible fate!!!"

So hes still in the beta phase and I'm actually writing a little story on my wattpad about him. Nothing interesting really. But yeah, that's my twilight saga oc based heavily off of me and what I wish I could be, Demi Granada. Names of my pets have been changed though, cant decide if I wanna keep them these names or give them their actual names for this.

Sunday fun day run day:)

I'm just about done shopping- 1 more fucking walmart trip.. 1 more. I bought wrapping paper to, well.. wrap gifts. I woke up this morning and noticed Madison used most of it to wrap my gifts.. i can't be mad. she asked me if i thought it was ok if she ate food cooked it butter or lard.. totally fine i said.. does she realize she is asking a non vegan? I ran 4.81 miles.. slow... intervals.. i tell myself i can to anything for 10 minutes.. anything.. it's 10 minutes. running make me unbelievable horny.. i just want to fuck after a run.. that's all. and eat. Dinner with Marci tomorrow.. i wrote out her holiday card with the free pen the republican party sent me.. this makes me laugh.. to think she would stop being my friend over politics is just insane. life would be boring if we all thought the same way. she has a gay sister which i'm sure was a huge deal given her age and Marci's age.. but now its not a big thing and if i ever want to stop being friends with her for some reason ,i could end it by saying 4 words..

Madison and i are spending Christmas eve together.. the plan is to bake cookies, dinner, presents. i'll make a fire. Our first Christmas in our new home. I would like to take a writing class.. not so much a college class although I am open to it- maybe like a non credit writing course. i just need to find one. i have an idea in my head. my goal for 2024 is to spend less time on my phone.. i ordered the Bhagavad Gita- a little light reading to get the New Year started. Maybe i'll find the answers to the questions that keep me up at night.. what is the meaning of life.. is there a meaning? I was an odd child.. i use to read the bible and the dictionary for fun. I had to tell my reps.. the ones close to Ashley, about her baby. 3 of them. 1 cried, 1 asked me why things like that happen to good people, 1 shrugged her shoulders and said.. yeah things happen. Me.. my heart hurts for Ashley.I hope she'll be ok.. which seems so weird to even type.. ok.. how can someone ever be ok after something so tragic? I have no idea. somehow people survive and continue living.. somehow. I think I am ready to unpack my childhood but dam if i dont know how to stat or if i am even capable of writing like that.. something for me to think about..... i'm seeing my mom for christmas and by the sounds of it she is making a ton of food.. i'm not 100% sure why.. i tried to tell her tonight not to overdue it. i have to work Christmas and the day after. I'm going to drive into on Christmas.. i figure it will be a nice drive because no one will be on the road. I have a 3 day weekend for new years and honestly that is all that is getting me through these past few weeks. My life is good. I am so grateful. i believe good things are coming.. more things, people and experiences to be grateful for. this is a new era for me. i am at peace with all that is.. soft and safe.. soft and safe

no work tomorrow time to blog

im going to put this in a read more because this is about to get boring folks

i want to learn how to make a few good meal foods because im a grown up now and i should be able to. problem is, when i think of what i want for dinner i think spaghetti plus meat, but i need vegetables to survive. i dont like most vegetables. 

recently my friend took me to a vegan sandwich place where it occurred to me that not a single thing on their menu sounded appetizing at all. when people try to make a “good” vegetable dishes they are usually very complicated and jumbled together, altogether too much effort for something that is not at all better than the original. i wanted to like oven roasted veggies but when my vegan sister made them they were just all jumbled together in a bowl and were still wet :/. vegans are supposed to be the ones out there LOVING this stuff and living off veggies only and they cant make one dinner dish that looks remotely appetizing to me. 

 i also am not fond of any kind of soup or casserole type dish, and ground meat. i love beef but i will not eat a burger. i will double not eat a bean burger. for me to eat a sandwich you gotta have a good meat on there to get me through the door, or else id rather just eat bread and lettuce on separate plates. 

i wish i could survive off meat, cheese, and bread but alas i cannot. here are a few rated vegetables.

1. corn. the only good vegetable is corn on the cob. no-cob corn is ok too, but i would only consider eating leftover corn if it was still on the cob. 

2. broccoli. base vegetable. is palatable. tastes like the color green. i know how to make it. would not eat leftovers of. 

3. potatoes. in fry form? very very good, but no longer healthy i think. same with chips. defeats the purpose of eating vegetables if they arent healthy.  i dont like mashed potatoes or chunks. texture is not good. sweet potatoes are the same thing but also too sweet. 

4. sweet peas. yea i can fuck with these. would not eat leftovers still though.

5. carrots. are almost good. either too cold and hard to be a regular snack + weirdly sweet, or cooked and mushy and still sweet :/. had them roasted with Parmesan cheese before, which i love, and i wanted to like them but they were still way too sweet! i couldnt even really enjoy the cheese anymore. 

6. lettuce. another base vegetable. the crunch is good. is like eating water. most people serve them in salads with dressing on it, which is way too much. preferred method of eating is plain or on a sandwich. but if i dont cook it am i getting any nutrients?? tastes like water, theres no nutrients in water. 

7. kale. im enchanted by the idea of kale chips but every time ive had them they are not as good as i had hoped. sometimes they are also still wet instead of dry and crisp and those are worse. would still eat if out on a table in a large bowl. 

8. okra. had fried okra once and it was just like.... this is a chicken nugget with no chicken in it.... i would like there to be some meat in here please. 

9. peas. ok. kind of mushy but still tolerable. 

10. lima beans. worse than peas, not as bad as real beans. 

11. tomatoes. bad. bad flavor, too wet. will tolerate in a sandwich. will similarly tolerate on pizza but i prefer as little as possible. do not like the sauce. had a v8 once and it was like tomato soup. gross. 

12. green beans. the taste is bad but my mom made it a lot growing up so i will eat it. its still bad tasting though! even after all this time.

13. onions. the crunch is bad on this one. always added to other things in chunk form and i hate biting into them. 

14. celery. the crunch is too much and the taste is very bad! plus its rough and stringy and gets caught in my teeth. an all-around chore to eat. 

15. all beans. ALL BEANS ARE TERRIBLE. i hate them so. the texture is extremely bad, the taste is never good, they are always added into other things to make them worse or given by themselves covered in sauce, and theres always so much!! i shudder to think of having to eat them as my primary protein source. 

there are other vegetables but these are the ones i have savored the most.

what i need is a DRY, CRISP VEGETABLE that is SALTY and NOT BITTER, not mushy at all and not too sweet. i thought i found this in tostones but are they really still healthy if they are fried that much? TT___TT the other way they serve cooked plantains is way to mushy and sweet.

the internet says just smother them with cheese but are they still healthy if i do that...?
