@dreamwatch tagged me and I have been so slammed at work but the show is open now and am able to look at my tags.

On this account its been Stranger Things, Baldur's Gate 3 and Critical Role - because we're sticking to a Dungeons and Dragons adjacent theme completely not on purpose.

5. Do you respond to comments?

I sincerely try to! I get them pretty infrequently so I'm always so tripping over myself to say something in response and surely sound like a total dipshit when I do. I know there are a few in my inbox I haven't responded to yet because work has my free time in a vice grip at the moment.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Oh surely dog at the door - the ending was always intended to be vague and open to interpretation but I cannot imagine any good faith interpretation to the ending is like. good. Runner up is probably of or pertaining to the body, which only takes the runner up status because its an elaboration on canon events that are objectively harrowing, versus with dog where I have engineered speculative misery for the express purpose of being miserable.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

head line, I think, is my only published fic with an unambiguously optimistic ending. I think there's been hope and happiness in my other fics, but not without caveats or as of yet unaddressed emotional complication in the futures of those stories. idk does that even make sense?

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not so far as I know but who knows, maybe there are corners of the internet talking mad shit what do I know?

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I have said it before and I will say it again, I feel like one of my greatest failings as a writer is my inability to write smut without cringing myself inside out. I just don't think I'm any good at it. Smut lives in my heart though.

10. Do you write crossovers?

I suppose it depends on what one's definition of a crossover is? Like where's the line between an AU and a crossover? One time I wrote a DnD ST AU that includes no established WotC DnD NPCs but all of its world building, is that a crossover? Or does a crossover only constitute as a crossover as a matter of disparate series characters interacting? I have questions.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

lmao aint no on reading my business I cannot imagine anyone would be so moved to do so

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I don't believe so, but I also haven't looked into it.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I've definitely worked on collaborative projects before, they all exist in various states of planning or semi-publication or DM hollering. I enjoy it, its like playing toys with your friends.

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

It really depends what I'm in the mood for? Vibes wise lol? I have a handful of ships that I constantly rotate around in my brain like a rotisserie chicken that re-enter the hyperfocus zone on a semi regular schedule. Ask my about my forevergirl ships.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?

lol could be any of them tbh

16. What are your writing strengths?

lmao lol even I'm so bad at self praise this is a nightmare. I like to think I have a deft hand with character voice, I like to think my writing feels generally grounded, lived in?

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I really lack rigor, I think, when it comes to writing. I get discouraged by writers block very easily, I make it very easy for myself to walk away from a project. Which, I know isn't inherently a bad thing - some things just don't work out, or you don't have the time for that kind of commitment etc - but I often feel like there is a necessary momentum that I lose that just makes my creative endeavors just stagnate and I really struggle to manufacture that momentum for myself when it starts to diminish.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I think it depends, I think there are contexts where it's appropriate and contexts where its inappropriate. For me it boils down to like, one's ability to use the language authentically and grammatically, if the language being potentially inscrutable to the reader is part of the need of the use of another language - textually, does it feel authentic to the way multi-lingual speakers communicate, etc etc etc.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

I think the first fic I wrote with the intent of public consumption was KHR? I think?

20. Favorite fic you've written?

Hm. This answer changes from time to time depending on how I'm feeling about my work in general, but I think right now sunflower broke is holding that top slot. It got me back into writing, it made me realize how much fun writing Eddie's character was for me, the themes that sort of preoccupy me about him floated to the surface there. Just a little scratch of the surface with that one.

oh mannn i dunnoooooooo. this aint my first au and tbh part of the success just comes from the fact that tmnt is like. a really big fandom, cause of all the iterations and how old the story is. i had a few similarly abuse-focused AU's for the owl house, and then i was obsessed with sun wukong & jttw for a solid few months there. (sorry, rambling, to get back on track-)

its not like i TRIED to be popular (feels like a weird thing to call myself. popular?? lmao i have like 5 friends) i just didnt avoid it either by like, idk, not tagging or w/e. I mean you basically just have to make stuff and keep making stuff forever. people will find it eventually, even if its only a couple of them who really engage in it.

AND CONSUME ART!! not just fandom stuff i mean whatever floats your boat, books (audiobooks in my case) movies comics- that's important to!! take note of everything you like in stories, write it down if you wanna. oh yeah and be pretentious (by which i mean, read symbolism into everything that you want to)

What I'm doing on this blog is basically what I was doing my entire life anyway, (drawing, making up stories, doing character design shit) except now i have people interested in it.

i really wasnt confident enough to do fandom stuff until like, first year of college tbh. at that point the owl house was like the main thing i relied on for any sense of relief cause my life was BAD bad haha.

I've got this BAD IRL, but the thing i remind myself is that this is MY BLOG and if someone doesn't wanna hear my rambling they can LEAVE. ALWAYS INFODUMP. ALWAYS RAMBLE. if attention is what you want then I'd suggest just genuinely talking about what you're passionate about, and if no one is asking you then ask yourself!

like, make a post that starts with "hey do u guys wanna hear about how much of a mess my three headed character is?? no?? TOO BAD HERE wE GO!!"

i really don't have a ton of advice hahhh this is all very ramble-y and im basically just telling you what I do. most of all I think it's important to like, not TRY to be popular tbh. don't try to be popular, try to make what you like the most and what you'd wanna see other people make- and that stuff will draw in the kind of people whose attention matters the most.

which is easier said than done i guess if you crave attention but its sooo much better than worrying about followers or something i promise.

like, if I wanted to be popular I wouldn't have advised myself to talk about incest and sa and all the shit that I do. but i dont wanna be popular, I wanna get the attention of people who ALSO like those stories and i want to explore themes of abuse that those people ALSO want to explore.

1. What project are you most proud of and why?

2. Which project did you have the most fun making?

1. What project are you most proud of and why?

That's difficult to say because there are so many pieces where I'm very proud of certain details or aspects of the creation process. But the one I'm proudest of for carrying through the entire project was the 5+1 collection of Geralt being picked up and carried around. It had so many pieces that I wasn't sure I was going to finish all of them, especially considering how legs are very hard for me ^^;

2. Which project did you have the most fun making?

The one above. I generally suffer and whine a lot during the process of working on a project, because I try to force myself to use colours (and I regularly forget my brush and colour palette settings orz) so technically that's less fun. But the poses were fun to try and figure out and alter for armor and the different body type of the characters (even Geralt went through some changes, especially with Letho lol), and it was ultimately funny to keep squinting at my figures and wonder "when did your legs grow that extra mile, my dude?"

3. Which project was the most unexpected and/or challenging and why?

The Geralt and Duny chilling in the cave by firelight I made for the Witcher BB. I'll be honest, even with my fascination for Emhyr and his curse I did not actually expect that I would end up drawing a hedgehog. Ever. But here I am. I pushed myself on textures and mood and lighting and background, and it was a lot of panicked scrambling in the beginning, but it turned out unexpectedly cool, and I'm real proud of it. Especially for the 3 hours I'd spent on all the furs on Duny's shoulder and in the bg. (and the rock texture, god that was fun!)

4. Which project would you like to receive more attention?

All of my big bang pieces tbh, because I do try to really push myself on them and they get little attention compared to that, I think?, but if I'm being very honest it's this one. I mean, it did one of the best amongst my Geralt/Emhyr pieces, but I love this one so much, I really would have liked if it got a little more attention. We all have our darlings, you know?

5. Is there a project you intended to work on but couldn’t find the time? If so, what is it?

Yeah, plenty. A lot of them are fic illustrations where I have a very rough sketch outline, but something just refuses to work and I just didn't have the time or energy to figure it out (there are 3 of those in the below compilation of wips I really wanted to work on this year). (It's mostly patience that I lack tho.) There is the one with Geralt and Eskel - which I plan to figure out in January, as I'm planning to dedicate that month to him; and further prompt fills for the Witcher Rareship Summer Bingo that I didn't have time for. That includes Geralt and Regis and Dettlaff sharing only one bed (there are so many limbs and pointy elbows there omg); Eskel, Lambert and Geralt howling at the moon for the 'Serenading' prompt that I imagined would have been best in a little comic strip kind of format and would end up a little sappy (I don't have a single line laid out for that one); Geralt and Emhyr cuddling after a nightmare and Geralt still having his toxicity lines showing.... I really had big plans this year. Way too big.

6. Have you noticed an improvement in your skill this year? Did a specific project help?

Yeah, definitely. I've improved a lot this year in many, many aspects. I've learnt a lot of anatomy (it's a big jump from zero to some but it still felt like a lot, even though I only just noticed how little I actually know lol); and while I forgot how portraits work, I think I can finally put the eyes in their right place and right-ish size. Most of the time. It's been a huge issue that still haunts me from previous years. Umm... I did a lot of drawings for the drawer (and Traum), because I'm not willing to go to twitter to post them (so you might guess what those drawings are), and they helped a lot. Lots of limbs and muscles in action, that's all I'm saying. They are very helpful.

7. If you could remake any project you’ve created this year, which one would it be and why?

It would be this one, with Geralt and Emhyr. I still very much like the accidental texture of the armour and cloth folds, and there is a charm to how rough it is, but I'd really love to see it a little more smoothed out (now that I'm familiar with the brush as well) and fix some anatomy issues with Emhyr. His arm is bugging me.

8. What project would you like to make next year?

As I've mentioned above, I would like to draw a lot of Eskel in January. I'll never forgive how TWN did so dirty by him in season 2, and I feel very bad for having pushed him back in this year's project line-up. (I'm open to ideas and proddings ;)) I would also like to work on the rarepair bingo prompts and see where they take me. As well as finally finishing this piece I started back in January for Anomalous Elixirs. It's almost done, only missing the lines and colours for the last panel with Geralt and Dettlaff.... and my courage to look at the other panels to rework some details, because hoo boy, is it obvious that I've been working on it on and off throughout the whole year.

Aside from those, I'd probably set the same goals for myself as I did for 2021. Push my working process so that a piece wouldn't take weeks to complete; learn how to do backgrounds (that's not just a bed); work on simplifying my style into something more illustrative and less semi-realistic, if that makes sense? I feel like that's trapping me a lot. Also I want to do some cute sticker designs, i'm really looking forward to those ^^

Some Nights - ok so first weeks challenge. i feel like chris would just want them to all collab together on one huge group performance. kinda like on the first day of school when they make you do the ‘get to know you’ tests. idk exactly who would sing what parts tho bc there are so many so let your imagination run wild !!

Hand crushed by a mallet - ok. OKYAY. im a home of sexual. but this is a Cody, Trent, Tyler, Harold and Izzy song. Cody is on vocals (especially the rap in this version shdofsgjsk), Trent is on guitar and some vocals (does some back and forth with him during the rap), Tyler is on drums (and does that one tiny background screamy bit towards the end), Izzy and Harold are joined up on creating the background track and DJing the whole thing. the distortion/choppy part at the end is izzy LIVE going ape on the audio level sliders. its one of the most energetic performances of the whole series and surprises everyone including the group themselves

Misery Business - Duncan on vocals and guitar, Geoff on drums, Trent also on guitar and maybe some backup vocals. you all know i chose that bc i love associating mgk with duncan but. i rly like this idea actually ;;

Paparazzi - ezekiel. idk who the fuck else except maybe justin bc he’d dance that shit to death. i will not apologize thats Him and its fire but you may write and send any formal complaints to my po box. ill roll a blunt with them,

Pom Pom - Lindsay, Heather, Sadie+Katie, and Izzy. Lindsay and Heather are on vocals, sharing the chorus and each getting a solo verse, and ofc izzy does the weird rap part towards the end, and most of the background track. they all thought they were stuck with izzy but izzy is stuck with these preps. Sadie and Katie are on backup vocals, but their role in this one is mostly dancing and adding ✨ stage presence.

Maps - Trent is on the guitar and male vocals while Courtney is on the female vocals (the ~top two performers~ gotta have a song together eventually right), DJ on drums, Bridgette on piano. Heather, Lindsay, Justin, and Leshawna are dancers bc lbr the dance from the video is pretty good for a group number

CREEPER? AW MAN - ok this one. is kind of a joke but wouldnt it be rly hilarious if cody, ezekiel, and harold did this one mostly for fun and the whole second part with the existential breakdown was just. used with on stage satire to make fun of chris for being old or smth. like would they suffer that week, yes, would it be worth it, Y E S,

Simple and Clean - Bridgette on singing, Gwen on piano, DJ on drums, Beth on general stage stuff + creates the backtrack with Bridgette's harmonies overlayed

Mr. Brightside - OWEN ON THE BRASS YES BBY ITS HIS TIME 2 FUCKIENG SHINE, Geoff on drums, Gwen begrudgingly on piano, Noah is on vocals and they have to literally bribe him with everything they HAVE to get him to try and sing this way. and he does it and it aint too shabby but he will never do it again

Domino - Leshawna on vocals (again these choices are all, based on general vibe and style and not necessarily voice, this is a tiny white girl singing,), Tyler on drums, Duncan on guitar. energy to the max babey the speakers are gonna blow the fuck out on this one

Starships - KATIE AND SADIE GET TO BE A MAIN DUO !!! they alternate lines , with courtney on violin, izzy on that synthy backtrack, and justin is involved in this one bc id change just a couple of things abt the music video costumes for these characters but like. [grabby hands] gimme

Bulletproof - ezekiel vibes.....? izzy and harold get to team up again for the backtrack. weird kids only karaoke night

ASDFSDFGHG that’s soooo sweet, thank you so much for saying this, it really means the world to me <3 Oh, haha I’ve deleted most of my old videos so it wouldn’t hurt anyone’s eyes lmao T_T I’m still a bit nervous each time I’m uploading my vids to the day to be honest, even with so many subs rn, but at first I really didn’t have any supporters at all and my god I sucked at this, but I guess the love for my fav ships was stronger apparently haha. So I always get silly happy at each nice comment and feedback, so thank you seriously.

I really love love love vidding, Idk why but when smth comes out the way I wanted it’s a super addictive feeling for some reason, but many times I just looked at the final result and just threw it in the trash and started over and my god how many times SonyVegas crushed and didn’t autosave the project. I’m like Suga now, I’m pressing the save button each 2 minutes, cause don’t want to lose anything xD Being someone’s inspiration is truly an honor to me, I’ve got some messages that hit me too hard. Still feels weird bc I’m like “but do you know that I can’t even use photoshop tho, how do u like me now then?” lol.

I’m always drawn to talented characters, bc they amaze me, esp the humble ones. Like those who hate Haru or Lanaga just buffle me honestly. I understand that they’re pretty and talented and everything, but they’re also the sweetest and loveliest human beings, so like...??? And I adore those who don’t whine and get what they want. I just can’t help it. I’m a strong believer in the fact that "you can do anything if you put your mind to it”. So far it worked in real life so suck it lol.

People are also saying like Langa doesn’t deserve to win this and Haru doesn’t deserve to be in Olympics, like Langa didn’t snowboard since he was 2 and Haru wasn’t swimming every day since he was born. I’m like.. and you need to check in the mirror if your face is a shade of green. BTW I’ve also been in a professional sports for quite a long time since I was a little kid, ballroom dancing and adored it back then, and I did not get jealous at ppl who were talented than me, I was watching the tapes actually with a popcorn. And oh god those large competition events when you sit there for days and give it all, but then you’re like 296 out of 1000. Why was I proud instead of being sad? Idk xD It was fun.

So thanks for liking the vid, cause I even regretted uploading it a bit yesterday. Sadly everyone already knows that we lost this fandom to the middle schoolers being extra, so they do not care for anything each episode except for this ship, so that’s what I got for posting a just Langa vid:

I do not even know where this is going, but their fans are already pissing me off. I’m still trying hard for this to not affect my point of view about the ship, cause it’d be kinda unfair to them, but its getting harder each week istg.

And I maybe can’t take requests, but I love when some try to get me addicted on their ship with passion and great arguments. It happened to me with some nice ppl. But def not with agression and stupidity haha.

Cause apparently its one of the fandoms where you can’t NOT care for the main ship, even if you accept it for the only possible Langa ship (cause he doesn’t give a shit for anyone else, so like what’s the point), but it doesn’t do anything for you. I’m like... thanks for threatening. This will make me on board ASAP. Like it’s not the epitomy of love to me... I’m sorry? LMAO

Some anon even sent me a “you’re dense” (literally thats it) ask after that Reki ask. I was tempted to write smth like “oh I’m sorry, this is the most epic love story of my life and his character is the most complex in the world and he’s the best friend and the most inspiring human being that ever hit my screen. can I become undense now? xD”. But you know I do not know if they’d realise the sarcasm and my pride sadly never allowed me to sell my life values for a bunch of 12 years olds to love me lol

My sister always laughs and jokingly says “but you’d probably get much more subs if you made a vid about this or that, but at what price that would be lmao”. Cause yeah, I never could make myself vid smth I do not like, cause I love vidding and do not want it to be associated with things I do not like, plus it’ll most likely turn out ugly, if I do not care. My mom says that she can feel love I put in my shipping vids that’s why she loves them. I really don’t think she’s wrong. But that also kinda makes me an idiot technically, cause I’m not into many of the popular ships, and some popular animes I just find really basic.

Also I’m like 100% sure it ain’t happening, but even if they miraculously suck each other’s dicks while sitting on a skate board, I can still have the rights not to care at the end. Like did I sign some form where I’m obliged to love each and everyone canon gay ship even if it’s not what I like? Like gay is not the type of love in relationships. You can only care about his ass like Lan Zhan for example or you can only care about your ass. Like that’s different types of relationships, and whatever you like you like. So get all the way of people’s backs, please.

Also do ppl know that you do not need to be blind to the bad sides of the characters in your ships? Or you just gonna be like “I suddenly can’t see” for forever.

Also FICTION is not life. Literally no one cares. If you’re scared for your saint eyes, do not watch animes, you’re gonna have a heart-attack from what you can see there. So basically I was kinda pissed yersterday, cause fuck them for ruining the tag, but after chatting with my hommies and your ask, I’m okay again, I just have to avoid this fandom and stick to a tight community xD. I just got used to my nice fandoms and forgot for a bit about the precautions you need to take if you’re in one of those. You know. 2020 Creator Wrap: Favorite Works

I mean, I have to start here! I spent half the year focused on this one fic and it was a challenge and an accomplishment. The challenge being having to write it in a bubble. There were a number of points where I struggled and just. wanted. someone. to read it. And then thankfully artist parings happened and @darlingnotso fed me 😉 Her companion art owned me too. It was all just so perfect.

I’ll take it a step further and give some background. I think it was late June/early July. I was trying to meet a fic deadline for a fandom event. And I was sitting in my apartment daydreaming and all of a sudden I just got the image in my head of Liz standing in the California sunlight, and Max watching her from his car parked nearby. And every ounce of his being wanting to go to her, but knowing he can’t. So he just silently says goodbye and drives away. But she feels him as he passes and his avoidance is pointless. That scene just got stuck in my head, and within an hour I had the entire plot outlined.

Lastly I’ll just say, there’s a scene between Liz and Mr. Jones, maybe in Part 6? That might be my favorite bit of the whole fic. Somehow it just came out perfectly for me.

I wrote this little ficlet post 2x13 of Liz’s POV as she leaves town. The funny thing is that when I wrote this, I was pissed at Liz. Still sort of am a bit. Because I do feel like her decision to leave was a character backslide. And I know the writers don’t feel that way and it’s gonna be portrayed as a positive thing for her, but those little moments of hesitation where she clearly wanted Max to stop her - THAT was the character growth peeking out. Leaving is who she was before Max. So when I scribbled this little ficlet out I was focusing on two things. 1) those hesitations as a positive thing, and 2) her walls going back up as a bad thing.

I never finished this, because the plot in my head was overcome by events in S2. But I shared it on Tumblr anyway because I really liked this little Max POV moment. I think I wrote this between 2x10 and 2x11? Thinking that Kyle would take Max to the secret lab and they would clear it out. I definitely didn’t see Liz locking Kyle out coming. But I liked the idea of Max feeling betrayed after listening to that damned tape recorder and reflecting on death and life. So yeah.

A/N: Hi! I am back with a new fic, and its a fluffy one! Its a make-up for all the hearts I broke from my last fic (which I still feel bad for, but I loved all the feedback! Thank you!) I somehow insert some real-life events in this fic, I feel like.. its something, I want to write for a while. I lost my grandfather in 2016, and in this story, all those experiences and memories mentions below about him, is true. I just felt, I want to open that part of my life. Edenbrook Hospital was quiet at 4, in the morning as her shift is finally done. An emergency had occurred earlier, which involving numerous victims from a fire. All of them managed to survive, as only a few of them had major injuries. Casey felt herself let out a yawn before making her way to a coffee vending machine that Dr. Ramsey shared with her and her colleagues after losing a bet that was made by June.

She inserts the amount of money needed and gets herself a cup of mocha. It was one of her comfort drinks. The heat from it jolts her awake, as she feels herself about to pass out in the middle of the floor. She took a small sip, as the hot beverage gives her an energy boost at that moment.

The hallways were quiet, as a few nurses were seen working. All of her roommates had gone back home since their shift ended earlier than hers. In her mind, she was debating on going back home, or perhaps stay at the hospital before the daily routine starts. As she was making her way back to the on-call room to get some rest, she bumped into a familiar face making her smile.

'Bryce!' She shouted from a distance as she makes her way to him.

His smile widens at the sound of her voice, he had slowed down his pace as she was catching up to him.

'Fancy seeing you here.' Bryce winks as Casey smiles from the comment.

'A long night as well?' She asked as she took another sip from her drink.

He nods, 'Carotid endarterectomy, remove the blockage from carotid arteries. It was a challenging one, but we all did it pretty well!' Bryce replied with a dash of excitement in his voice.

'I am proud of you, party boy.' Casey lets out a compliment as he raised an eyebrow from the comment.

'Is your head too big for another compliment Lahela?'

'Nah, my head is perfect. But, why so sudden?' He asked with full of curiosity in his voice.

'I just, with everything going on in our lives now; all the chaos and insanity. It’s good to see you happier, more in your element.' She took his hand and give him a light squeeze. He leans forward as he placed a small kiss on her cheek.

They walked together slowly, before Bryce's face had turned into a devilish smile that she knows all too well.

'I know that face, what are you planning?'

His eyes full of mischief, as he lets her on the idea.

'Let's change our view for a bit. I haven't seen sunshine in a few hours and honestly, there is a sweet spot to watch the sunrise.' Bryce spills the idea of earning an earnest smile from Casey.

'Colour me intrigued. Let's do it.' Casey agrees as they made their way to a set of staircases leading up to the hospital roof. They were stealthy, being as silent as possible to avoid any attention.

After a long five minutes of climbing up the stairs, they finally arrived at the infamous rooftop of Edenbrook Hospital. It was still dark, as the stars above them were shining. Both Bryce and Casey made their way to the edge as they took a seat on the cold tiles. They kept their pager with them, just in case of emergencies.

The environment around them was silent except for a couple of cars on the road, and the light from the city is their view for the night.

'This is a pretty sweet view.' Bryce said as his eyes darted everywhere from the rooftop.

Casey placed her drink down, as she took a deep breath inhaling the night air. It was calming and it somehow makes her smile. She felt herself scoot towards Bryce, as he was still observing the view. She makes her way to him and places her head on his shoulder.

He was startled, before pulling her into his embrace as he puts his arm around her.

'This is an amazing idea.' Casey said as their feet were a few feet above the cold pavement below.

'You are welcome, I am a man of ideas after all.' Bryce replied with a smug expression on his face.

She lets out a laugh before the silence took over once more. It was almost sunrise in Boston, as they decided to take a breather from their work. The silence was comforting, as they were charging their own energy with the environment around them until Casey speaks up.

'Let's play plead the fifth.' Casey said excitedly.

Bryce smiles as he felt familiar with the game from a patient named Dakota, who invited him for a game before his major surgery.

'Lay it on me, Valentine.' His confident smile appears at her suggestion.

'All right. My first question, tell me a random fact about you.' Casey lets out a small smile earning a chuckle from Bryce.

'What is that about?'

'Nothing, I feel amused by all of this. To answer your question, I love to go on random walks in the evening at the beach back at home… It is one of the things that I missed about it.' Casey seems to be studying him before she nods in approval of the answer.

'What's with the look?'

'I just…never thought that you would be a 'enjoy the moment' type of guy.'

'Hey, I love to party hard… but, sometimes you just need to step back and get some real air.' Bryce explains as the noises below are getting louder, but it's still not loud enough to ruin their time.

'Hm, that is interesting. Maybe one day, you can take me to these places of yours? I would love to see it.'

He takes one of her hands and placed a kiss on her knuckles.

'Let's make it a trip soon.' He winks before they proceed on enjoying the view around them.

It was silent once again before it is his turn to ask.

'What do you regret the most in life..?'

Casey's eyes widen from the sudden question, but she knows… regrets live with her for as long as she lived. She went quiet earning a few 'I'm sorry' look from Bryce before she starts to speak.

'I have some regrets in my life, but one really stood out to me….' She starts before feeling the lump on her throat as she continues.

'It was when my grandfather passed away, four years ago. I remember, during medical school. I was studying for an exam and there is this phone call from my brother, Dan. He told me, he had passed away a few hours before. At that moment, I don't know how to feel. It is my first major loss in my life, and it's something that I will never get used too…' she went silent once more as Bryce quietly listens to every word she said with his hands held hers as comfort.

She lets out a breath she was holding before she continues on,

'I was super close to him, he is like one of the people who makes me happy. I remember going back home to visit him, and just… it brings a smile on my face honestly. He would always take me on his motorcycle and just, spoiled me rotten…'

Bryce lets out a chuckle at the comment.

'Who wouldn't want to spoil you? You must be an adorable kid.'

'Yes, I am proud to say; I am in fact adorable as a kid but as an adult.' She stops observing herself before saying, 'not so much.'

'You are beautiful Cas, I mean it… and you are adorable too especially when you smile.' Bryce replies as he took an imaginary picture of her in his mind.

She pulled him into a sweet kiss before she continues,

'As I was saying, he would often spoil me rotten with ice-cream, sweets, chips.. every kid's dream. It is really a wonderful time to be alive, and somehow… when I get older, we kind of lost contact. He would still take me out on a trip on his bike, and somehow he would be like… the best friend I never had…' Casey felt tears coming out slowly, as she continues.

'Take your time Cas..' Bryce calms her down by rubbing her back slowly as she regains her composure once more.

'We kinda lost contact, or maybe... I suddenly become distant towards him. Honestly, looking back… I really don't deserve him. I didn't even call when we visit; I would just shrug his invite by saying, 'I'm too busy', or just… I ignored it. I feel like a villain, and after he passed away, those memories really hit home. I just, I regret the way I act towards him, he didn't deserve it and….'

'I just… I wish we had more time together you know… its been four years and somehow, the regret is still there. I wished he knew, how much I really loved him before he leaves us.' She felt herself wiping the tears that have fallen down with her free hand.

'I am so sorry Casey, I shouldn't have asked if that's how it gonna go.' Bryce felt guilty for the question.

'No worries Bryce, I am okay. It's been four years and I think you deserve the right answer for introducing me to this magnificent view.' She said as she squeezed his hands.

He showcased a wide smile, on his face as he said.

'For what it's worth, I think your grandfather knows how much you love him. He would be proud of the woman you become today. You are a badass doctor, and I know… he is cheering you on, smiling proudly at all you have become today. I am proud of you too Dr. Valentine.' Bryce said with a million-dollar smile on his face, as he looks at her with a proud expression on his face.

'It feels good to let this story out. You are an amazing listener.' She replies as she glanced at him in adoration.

'I am your boyfriend after all. It's a part of the whole package, including these guns.' He said gesturing his body as Casey lets out a laugh.

'Just shut up will you.' She said as she leaned forward, their lips meet as the sun starting to set behind them as a backdrop of their moment.

They pulled away as their pagers started to beep, bringing them to the real world.

'Duty calls. Let's go.' Bryce said as they stood up, making their way down the stairs. Casey stopped them in front of the metal door, earning a questionable look from him.

'Thank you for bringing me here, we should do it again sometimes.' Casey said before leaning forward once again.

'It's a date.' He replied with a happy expression as they walked hand-in-hand to start their new day together.
