I followed Re:Dracula when I heard Jonathan Sims appears in it, the Hotel promotion made me more excited to get into it, BUT- it reminded me-

If you’re a fan of Jonathan Sims and some how haven’t heard of Slay The Princess, the full game is coming out soon and there’s a generous free demo still available and it’s really good.

Nichole Goodnight (who I know from The NoSleep Podcast) plays the titular Princess, Jonathan Sims is the Narrator and ‘The Voices in your Head’ and both of them do a really good job.

I don’t want to spoil too much but your goal in the game is what it says on the tin, you have to slay a Princess or the world will end.

Would me saying that Sims also does a Matt Berry impression in the game sweeten the deal as well?

The full game is coming out on October 20th so now is the perfect time to check out the demo on Steam.

Edit: I looked up Nichole Goodnight’s socials to check if I was spelling her name correct and still managed to drop the ‘h’ on accident.

Been in a TMA hell hole so here’s some sketches

TMA to Mechs fan pipeline this, the Mechs were Jon Jarchivist’s college band hehe so funny that. WHEN are we gonna talk about the fact that the Mechs are just the objectively better piece of media and the better storytelling apparatus?

Like. I could talk about it all day but it mostly boils down to. Entirely made up of queer and poc members. Handles so many different themes much more respectfully and beautifully than TMA. Makes an actually satisfying tragic ending MULTIPLE times compared to whatever tf s5 was. I don’t have to worry about police brutality the character™️ running around and that honestly soothes my soul.

(This is not trying to get TMA fans to switch fandoms in fact I’m actively gatekeeping HOWEVER. Y’all just. Need to know. Superior Jonny Sims media exists. We even have an archivist)

More on my tma/dredge stuff. Anyway I think the first abberation fisherman!Jon should catch is this. Maybe they’re trying to ignore the fog and the strange red light to the west at first, but barely a day after his arrival and they find this writhing on the end of their hook. And they Know with a capital K that this isn’t of the eye. That there has been something deeply, horribly wrong with this ocean before they even got here. There is another power at work beneath the waves, and god if he doesn’t want to know more.

for the last month literally ALL i’ve been doing is listening to tma and consuming tma content

like, i haven’t watched any tv or movies or even youtube videos, i’ve barely listened to music (which is very uncharacteristic for me), i’ve read a couple books but only when i’m doing no phone time
