i think the derailment of courtney is like five thousand times more annoying than duncan but that might j be bc i dont really like duncan (hes fine in island, kinda boring in action (didnt deserve his win idgaf that shouldve been harold there. yes im still mad lindsay went home instead of him in rock n rule), and the entirety of that mid section of world tour just revolving around him and the stupid love triangle drama is SO annoying. and then he makes final five FOR WHAT??? FOR WHAT???? im sick of his ass. what was i talking about. right) but either way theyre both two very major characters so its just really sad to see them both fall victim to horrible characterization? cuz you start in island right and in general island is a lot more grounded than the other seasons and leans more into the fact that theyre all 2000’s teenage stereotypes so in island theyre just the good ol cliche good girl/bad boy couple its iconic, its cute, WAY more entertaining than gwent (but they get a pass cuz gwen was basically the main character of that season. u go girl. go get that bag AND that boring wet dog man) and its just nice. courtney shows signs of being controlling but for the most part duncan’s attitude gets courtney to loosen up a bit and have fun and courtney made duncan a better person.

and then action happens and then courtney is like. rightfully mad she got screwed out of the season after harold gets her kicked off and no one gaf but its like. you can see where this could go and it doesnt look great. not much happens for duncan except he gets more insufferable bc they didnt give him any friends this season? unlike when he geoff and dj to bounce off of now he just picks fights with harold and the other gaffers which IS funny but. basically action is where the red flags start being put up. their relationship is. fine. like i liked it at the time but knowing where it heads is upsetting. anyways

then u get to world tour and theyre close to their island dynamic again (with the exception of gwen being there…) but then duncan quits first episode which i think was actually a great choice bc of how courtney finally gets to stand on her own as a character without him (i actually really like duncney. but her character was always tied to him in some way yk?) and make her own friends and it was looking great! until i see london and everything goes to shit. dude comes back, cheats on courtney, and then everyone on that god forsaken plane gets involved. first of all, ISLAND DUNCAN WOULD NEVER??? no fucking way. not even action duncan. dude was HOOKED on her crazy ass. AND FOR GWEN?!?! who has never been the same since island but thats a different thing. but they had literally zero romantic chemistry. all they have in common is that theyre both alt kids. NOT EVEN THE SAME KIND OF ALTERNATIVE! just alt. ugh. and then courtney gets sent into a spiral which, is a valid reaction to getting cheated on i do not blame her. and w/ someone you thought was ur friend like i GET IT. and i am on her side. but then her character goes back to ONLY EVER BEING ABOUT DUNCAN except this time its how much she hates him and her character just. pauses! she doesnt go anywhere else from i see london until shes eliminated inn… what was it. chinese fakeout? like shes just a hater who makes zero meaningful relationships aside from getting played by alejandro and shes just. like its just. its not good. and to know that any of this only happened bc the producers forced a duncney break up. girl sit DOWNNN

and then all stars just tramples them even more. since when has duncan ever gave a shit what people think of him? jojo siwa acting ass with this “im a bad boy!1!!!!” act island duncan would never. and then courtney. ohh courtney. she got flushed down a toilet force feeding herself ice cream with bird shit on it. all i gotta say (but also. nerfed bc she literally has an iron stomach in chinese fake out. whatever)

i used to be a terf for a few months when i was 16-17 and all i can say is it haunts me

i gravitated towards terf ideology because i was suffering with misogynistic and transphobic and sexual trauma and radfems enabled my toxic thinking. as a result i became anti sex worker, anti kink, political lesbian, and yeah transphobic and biphobic.

radfems on tumblr are in denial about how much the alt right loves today's radfem movements. when i realized what everyone was saying is true, that radfems are alt-right mouthpieces, is when i abandoned terfism.

i regret ever becoming a radfem because it made me hold distain for people for dumb reasons. i thought women who wore make up, who did sex work, who date men, who are trans, or who were women but realized they arent were personally upholding the patriarchy. at the time these things made sense to me but holy shit blaming women and trans people for why misogyny happens is literally victim blaming 101.

i dont really know what to do about this, me being a past terf. i fully understand why terfism is bullshit, why radical feminism (including "pro trans" radfeminism) itself is bullshit, but i cant get over that i gave trans people shit for being trans. its just me wishing over and over that i never gotten mixed up with those people.

Try not to beat yourself up over it too much. You’re not that person any more and the fact you feel bad about it shows you’re better than you were then. And you were just a kid too, it’s unfortunately quite common that they target and groom young teenagers :/

I'm just speechless[spoiler: i find my voice p quick] on the whole yasstantine ya thing and by speechless I mean disappointed to the bone and very close to cussing the house down. Also the story is so shite? like he has a mum and is part of a magical lineage but in a weird not John way? Like there's a good post about how two panels show the massive difference between the two. Also? How can u wright John Constantine without his mum dying as he was born? Like it affects sooo mutch. It's like rebooting Spiderman and not killing uncle Ben. It's the catalyst of all catalysts.

Also I'm not saying John ain't pretty when he's young, because he's decent looking in the first hellblazers, but he's scruffy there, also he's[yasstantine] a poser. Like John ain't a poser. Idk how to explain it but making John pretty and airbrushed and ticktoc alt is fundamentaly opposed to who the actual charecter is. Like they look at all the reasons ppl like him and changed them. John is a queer northern man who had dealt massively with childhood trauma and abuse as well as poverty, and stripping him of that is something I wish I could be surprised about DC doing but given how DC are already trying to downplay and flatten him

(don't get me started on the king shark thing or the flirting w batman. John may not have self respect but he does have a burning hatred for the rich and batman is not an exeption and the "oh John's such a slut he even fuked a shark" fuck off.) John is an inherently political charecter and that's where he is best. And you can't strip him of his context as a British punk queer man who lived through the aids crisis and Thatcher and the coalminers strikes and section 28. But DC want to strip him of his politics and so put him in America. No! John's story is important and speaks of things the government want to ignore. Issue 3 of hellblazers cover was taking the piss out of Thatcher. Hellblazer isent just a comic its a comic that calls out the bull going on in the world, and sits you down and forces you to empathize with people, and to show how bigots are pathetic. I read hellblazer and I can point to the things my parents have told me about, and more. Hellblazer is political, hellblazer is important and hellblazer tells me my history. Hellblazer is about people that I could know, and the horrors I have to face. Idk how to say it but hellbazer and John Constantine are so important to me in a world where most English language media is American. Where you learn all about America. And we have alot less media telling it how it is. England has a massive issue with putting old horrors under the rug.

And it's hard to explain to some people that didn't grow up with the horrors, or there parents didn't warn them if the horrors they lived thru, about the council estates, about section 28, about the privatisation of the verge, about all the British issues shoved under the bloody carpet. I read hellblazer and it tells me that these horrors do exist, the wounds that scar us still do exist, but people survive and people are good. [note- by horrors i mean the real life horrors, that are either played straight or allgorised]

Also from a story point of view, disregarding context, disregarding charecter, John's story is so fuking British. "The Americans want someone to succeed where they haven't, the English want someone to fail where they have," is a p good summary of the difference between the two countries media [i am heavily generalizing the common trends of american vs british media please dont @ me w outliers] We [brits] like watching someone else go through the shitter like us, to show that were not alone. We don't get happy ending. We know. We like morally complex arseholes who make bad choices. We don't want superman. We want our gritty hope that we may not be happy, but we can make choices that matter. We want to see people like us suffer and be absolved and be punished. We want the truth that is glossed over. We want to know that life sucks, and we take delight in watching other people go through the shit we do. Witch is why u need a British writer, not just because of knowledge of the context, but because the story is fundamentally different to American stories.

Tldr I hate it but it's inline w DC's attempts to de politicize John and in doing so showing they fundamentally don't understand the character and why people like him, and then ruin him in an attempt to make him "popular" when at the core of his character he is at his best when he isent popular with everyone [john is a character that should piss large groups of people off, and hellblazer is a comic that should make large amounts of people uncomfortable, but dc want to remove the discomfort, and defang the comic and character, selling out john. no the irony isent lost on me]

i Dont think AI generated art is an Inherently Bad Thing. my problem with it is that the training sets that these developers use for these AIs include copyrighted works from artists who have no idea their work is being used in that way / never gave permission for anyone to use their work in that way

midjourney (the proprietary art AI)’s training dataset is Completely Unknown to the public but from what ive seen it probably trawls artstation, deviantart, and stock sites, even trying to replicate watermarks/credits/signatures (i got these off their reddit lol)

since the AI is “taking inspiration” from its training sets its probably near impossible for an artist to take action against the devs here. can an AI be inspired? well, its not exactly copy pasting things together so its original art, right?

(as a side note, it seems that a lot of people just don't understand how ai image generation works so i'll link this computerphile video because it explains it very well. basically AI generates noise then denoises it based on what its learned from its training images)

given the amount of data needed to train and the seemingly large amount of visual artists who want nothing to do with AI, it seems unlikely that devs switch their training set to a community contributed or creative commons 0 dataset… if you post your art accompanied by text or alt text, it can be "caught" in a internet data crawl used to train a model.

technically, its not breaking copyright licenses (but some devs Do advise not to sell any generated art because the licensing is questionable). art and image generation ai is so technologically impressive and i dont blame artists for using ai as a tool. but if this becomes an industry standard, new media will start to look even more homogeneous / samey

[OPINION] no art is truly original but ai art is especially unoriginal. it creates a representation from other representations. i know some ppl fear ai will replace the need for artists and the skill level now expected of artists will rise, but i dont think it can ever replace human art.

another side note, i have experimented with Stable Diffusion with my own art (turning sketches to rendered pieces) using my own graphics card. right now there's not much to it and it will spit out the most generic art assets and also make your brown characters white

it kept on making them white and also an LA kings player too i had to fight it constantly by just erasing things that didnt quite work (this is why theres kinda a halo around the characters)

ive documented my process here in pictures. hopefully you can tell where i step in and make tweaks. between the last two i painted it over since i wasnt getting anymore mileage out of the AI. also i manually changed the bunny's uniform to red to hopefully give the ai an easier time (it barely worked)

i dont know what my conclusion is here except that maybe ai art could be cool if ai devs respected the artists their program is learning off of. but of course that wont happen. so therefore my real conclusion is that i would like to be a bird and eat crumbs in a park

Rusty Nail Alt #5: Ambushed

Alright, I've only watched two seasons, the ending messed me up and that was back when we didnt really know if we were getting a season 3. So, this is timeline adjacent obviously. 😬 and super short but my brain is barely working ya feel?

Going on missions-real missions- still sent a thrill of excitement through the team, though some hid it better than others. There was just such a difference from the lives they led before, to what they get to do now. Even if they were a little rocky as a team at the start, now it was hard to imagine fighting by anyone else.

Wally loved fighting by his Uncles side, dont get him wrong, but this team, his friends, he couldnt imagine going back. He couldnt imagine a world where he wasnt fighting side by side with these people. Well... he could, but he didnt like to think about that world.

Hes only half listening to the conversation taking place, he'd read through the mission report a million times, and listened to the first speal Kaldur had given, he knew the plan. Wally supposed its a good thing in the long run (ha), as he looks out from the BioShips view screen and reacts faster than anyone else can. He has everyone in their seats and buckled before they can blink, calling out a warning just as he makes it back to his own seat. The impact jars everyone, Wally is thrown, he hopes the others are okay.

"Mayday Mayday! This is Young Justice calling for back up and Medical! We are going down!"

"Guns, everything down! Whatd they hit us with!?"

"I dont know, I didnt see, Wally- wheres Wally!?"

Robin really doesnt know how he keeps surviving things like this. Though hes beginning to think it has something to do with Wally or genetic modification. Hed have to do tests when he got home, but Wally is a common variable about these situations so...

He wasn't answering. He wasnt in his seat. He got out of his seat to move everyone else... where...

Where was Wally? Where was everyone? Where was he?

Forcing his eyes open seems to alert his body, as he feels like one giant bruise covered by another bruise. A cloud of dirt is still settling, and his throat is scratchy with it as he coughs. The fact hes no longer in the bioship is concerning to say the least, and as he forces himself to sit up his gut sinks further.

The bioship has reverted to its sphere form and looks worse for wear to his human eyes. He coughs again, clutching his ribs as he scans his surroundings. It takes him a moment too long to realize he's using nightvision mode on his mask, to see the rocks surrounding him in all directions, to realize their crash must have caused a cave in.

A groan interupts his oncoming panic, allowing him to mentally smack himself, as his eyes find two bodies he hadnt seen. Kaldur is slowly sitting up, and M'gann is twitching beside him. Robin forces himself to his feet, stumbles his way over to them and falls to his knees to check them over, and only to check them over its so not because he couldnt stand.

"Robin? What...where are we?" Kaldur coughs and Robin is sure this dust is killing his lungs.

"A cave in. We were ambushed, they hit the Bioship with something."

Mgann is slowly coming too, but having been connected to the BioShip probably took a toll on her. Robin scans the room again, trying to find his other three friends. Kaldurs arms light up enough to cast a soft glow, they cant rely on it, but it does help Robin spot something new. Horror dawns on his face hes sure, as he once again stumbles to his feet and rushes across the space.

Where the entrance caved, arm and some of his torso pinned, is Wally. A small pool of blood has formed below him, shiny in Kaldurs light, and Robin has to force the tremble from his hands. He presses two fingers to Wallys throat, finds a pulse far slower than a speedsters should be, but a sign of life nonetheless.

"Is he..?"

"Alive, but pinned and... he wasnt in his seat when we were hit, he needs medical."

"The puddle isnt growing very fast, I assume the rocks are putting pressure on his wounds. To move him could be fatal, however if the pile shifts..."

"He'd be crushed. Could lose his arm or... worse." Robin finishes. "I have some first aid supplies, we should get him out. Hopefully our distress signal went out..."

"I can help, keep the pile steady while you guys get him out." M'ganns voice has a strain to it, but shes standing on her own and determination shines in her eyes.

Robin steeles himself, carefully grabbing hold of Wally as Kaldur grips the large chunk of mountain, Mgann raises her hands, and as one they move. As soon as the rock is up, Robin pulls Wally out of the way. They all hold their breath as Kaldur drops his rock and Mgann keeps the trembling wall steady.

While they need a way out, theyre still missing two team mates and that wall could kill them all if it falls wrong. There focus right now is keeping Wally alive until a new plan can form. So Robin makes quick work of cleaning- as best he can- and binding the bleeding wounds on his best friend. There isnt much he can do about his broken ribs, just glad they arent puncturing anything, hes in rough shape and thats just from what Robin can see. They work together to get to the side of the cave, Mgann tells them the Biship is unresponsive, and that Konner and Artemis arent answering yet.

They hold onto the yet. Because they will answer eventually.

Everyone else is out of range. But she keeps a look out for familiar minds. They just have to wait for now.

Wally hurts all over. He hasn't hurt like this in a while, wonders idily what he did to anger...

A groan escapes the gingers lips, as his body refuses to comply with his need to get up.

"Dont move Wally, youre hurt!" M'ganns worried voice reaches his ears and rings inside his head, though he doesnt know which one he actually gets.

"We've got you Walls." Robins voice comes from above him, his pillow then.

"Just rest my friend." And Kaldur, alright so theyre all more or less okay good...

He still peels his eyes open, met with mostly darkness and darker dark blobs, his friends he assumes. His mouth feels and tastes like a desert, but he forces his vocal cords to work,

"Cave in... pushed Arty... and Kon..."

"Of course you did. You've been quite the hero today Wally. Im sure rescue will be here soon, you did good."

"You...all ok?"

"Yeah, little banged up, but we'll be fine bud."

If they dont die from lack of everything. Great, this would be quite the way to die.

"We'll get out of here Wally, dont worry." M'gann is gentle as she take his hand, the one not tingling on the edge of numbness.

He gives it a light squeeze and silence falls again. Hes almost dozed off again when Mgann gasps, and her voice fills their heads.

"Artemis, Konner! Are you guys okay?"

"I think we're in one piece. You guys? Baywatch pushed us out of the way, is he.."

"Im here Arty."

"And we're fine my friends. Do you perhaps have an escape on your side?"

"No, looks like our crash and whoever our unexpected company was, sealed us in."

"The league should be able to see the disturbance in the mountain though." Konner adds.

"Alright, I guess we're back to hanging tight."

right off the bat they they that delusional attachment is a term for only psychotics to use because they don't know the difference between psychosis and delusions/use them interchangeably. it's an easy mistake to make, but also a very important one. by saying "delusional attachment" is psychotic-only, they completely exclude people living with delusional disorder (which yes is a psychotic disorder, but is not really psychosis and doesnt really make a person a psychotic. it's a grey area, basically.) which, delusional disordered-people make up a huge chunk of people experiencing delusions

also they keep saying "D/A is an alternative to identity delusion" which is something i've never actually heard of before, so i cant comment on it

i like that one of the first sentences you read confirms it's not medically recognized: this is a very annoying part of the discourse, where psychotics will criticize D/As for being bad because they... arent medically recognized? which is such a dumb point for so many reasons. TLDR, things exist before they're coined/recognized, thats the least of the reasons they're bad, & it's a sanist criticization to say "this isnt recognized therefore it is bad." also it's just overall a really pointless criticism. so yeah, good on them for shooting that down before it even begins lol

unsure why they also keep saying the "psychotic community" coined it when literally only 1 person coined it and it was meant to be for personal use (not wide-spread use.) it makes me wonder if the person who made this carrd is actually delusional themselves, because they seem to remove themselves from.. all of this. the way they word this also makes it seem like the entire psychotic community is on board with D/As when that's not true at all; i'd say like 70% of actuallypsychotics online are not fine with them at all.

they claim there's little-no information accessible about grandiose delusions... which isn't true. it's one of the most common delusions (because it's usually non-bizarre) you just need to Type Things In On Google about it first. i guess it makes sense that they don't know anything about grandiose delusions considering every delusional attachment(-aligned) person i have ever met or seen has 0 symptoms of grandiose behavior whatsoever, but self-DX as grandiose. i know why they think it's grandiose, but it's not actually. it's closer to be a DMS of the self, but that's not Officially a thing, so it's really just a bizarre/NS delusion revision: later in the carrd they clarify what grandiose delusions are (properly,) & explain that most D/As display grandiose behavior but i have literally not seen this a single time. i've never even seen anyone talk about it.

their information on psychosis itself seems all correct, but i think it would be far more useful for them to put information there on delusions instead of psychosis, given that D/As actually have nothing to do with psychosis (only delusions...) the way they do this implies that psychosis and delusions are interchangeable which isnt correct

today has been a bit of a bumpy one. not like super bumpy, but like sorta bumpy.

i had therapy today, and i really like my therapist, she's nice and all, but i'm not the biggest fan of the way our sessions go. i'm used to coming in and just kind of talking with my last therapist, but she starts us off with this "mindfulness meditation" video (not my thing) and she has me do these little assignments and tasks? which i can see working for someone else, but it kinda feels like a chore to me. plus, i was on a spiel about some issues and concerns im having about my new job and (now i dont think she realized) but she kinda cut me off and had me write out something about gender identity. i realize that sounds unrelated but lemme kinda detail it better

i was listing some issues i was having at work (for context its a daycare and my first job at one, im not good at it yet but im trying) and i was in a bit about how all my coworkers come from very different lives than i do, and sometimes it feels like a hurdle (im 19, alt, trans, etc. and most of my coworkers are middle-aged cis women like moms and also kinda intimidating and stand-offish)

i was saying that since they all seem to come from similar backgrounds and have more in common, while my life and experiences dont quite match if that makes sense. i feel like an outsider kind of. anyways, i was talking about how im worried how they perceive me as trans-ish. i usually describe myself as trans-ish because of the fact i chose to use genderqueer to identify, but i present more-so as trans mtf, if that makes sense.

she stopped me to have me take 10 minutes to write out a thing about my identity in detail so she could kind of get a better idea i think? it also could have been for my sake, but i know whats going on already, for several years actually, so i really dont need it written down for my sake?

anyways, i did that and then she asked me to keep a journal over the next week about how i feel around others thru this kinda trans-ish lens (when i go out and about to the store, a resturant, etc.). i understand where she is coming from but i dont think i need that. its not really something im that concerned about in my day to day, its mainly just applicable to my job right now

plus after that we ended the session only a half an hour in? like we started at 2, and we ended at 2:30. i thought i was getting a full hour? huh? plus i didn't get to talk about the other stuff i wanted to cover, like my social problems im having and like 3 other things i cant remember as i type this (but i knew it then i swear)

anyways that was a whole thing. i have another session next week same time. im gonna maybe see if i cant get the sessions to run the way i want? part of me wants to just cancel and find someone else cause im afraid to say anything negative, but part of me is like "well im paying you to listen to me, so A-lets do what i want, and B-ill be taking my full hour, or at least until 50-55 minutes"

i talked to my mom a bit about it before she left (she went to hang with her friend) and she said i should bring it up to her next time. this also brings me to my next bit, which is mainly centric on my behavior in general

im generally unhappy with my personality and behavior to be honest. it would take me like 12 pages to explain in paragraphs, so imma use a bulleted list, except with dashes, cause dashes are cooler

like the other day, my brakes failed and i got into an accident (no one was hurt, virtually no damage) because there was air in the brake line. now im gonna have to pay to get the lines drained and refilled, plus get the leak fixed that caused it, plus replace a fucked up tire that i just noticed, and fix the wheel bearing thats been fucking with my ABS for like 8 months. so i either need to save up money for that or let my grandparents pay for it (and then try and pay them back if they'll even let me)

really, honestly, i want to take my truck, pack it up with some essentials, and just, start driving. pick a direction and keep going. but i cant even do that cause my truck is out of commission until god knows when, and like a million other obstacles on top of that.

it really just feels like, once everything starts looking up, i get kicked in the balls

now, i talked about blindness at the start. because i fucking looked at this guy, dressed like that, literally selling pride stickers, most common white transmasc haircut ever and i was like "ya thats just a metal straight man i guess" I AM A FUCKING IDIOT "oh but what would have changed if you knew he had the trans swag" nothing but it's fucking HARD even when you're in art school finding people more similar to you in THAT sense, its like yo, i know a bit of whats like going through that. and also i wasnt expecting it cus he just fucking passed so good? like his confidence and attitude felt so much like just something a cis guy has, walking around the world, it's the type of shit that you dont feel like you could ever obtain? idk if im making sense rn, but ifykyk. its also just fuckky i was so fucking blind like no bestie!! mfer is in the community you're just an idiot.

so ya, morale of the story i need to learn how to socialize in the most basic way, im not even talking about flirting, just fucking normal comunication goddamn it.

lots of very new tumblr users here. good time to remind everyone that LIKES DO NOTHING ON TUMBLR!! there is no algorithm here!!! whatever you follow is going to be the only thing on your dash (outside of "in your orbit" posts but those can be turned off) so REBLOG posts you like!!!

on mobile, holding down the reblog button brings up the three sideblogs at the top of your list. slide your thumb/finger to whatever blog you wish to post it to, and release. that will fast reblog it. on pc, if you hold alt over the reblog button the same thing happens. its handy if you dont tag your reblogs as anything.

dont censor words here. again, theres no algorithm to censor you. swears and sex talk with get you shadow banned in tags on ios, i believe, but thats a whole different beast. people on android and desktop, and browser will still see those posts. if youre talking about suicide, write the entire word out. dont replace letters, dont call it "sewer slide" or "game ending". if you do that, the built in post filter isnt going to catch these words, and people who have them filtered ARE GOING TO SEE THEM. be considerate, please.

also, please change your icon. most of the time if someone sees a blog without an icon, theyre going to assume its a bot. thats common with bots. theyre also claiming urls of old, long abandoned blogs, so even if you have a normal looking url, you still look like a bot.

lastly, reblog things!! nobody is going to follow a blank blog that posts nothing. most people have public likes turned off, and i dont know anyone who goes through peoples likes unless theyre checking if theyre a bot.

tl;dr: new blogs, change your icon and blog header. reblog posts. likes do nothing. we dont have an algorithm, what posts you see is between you and god. also, thank u for following ❤️

crenny brainrot

idk i normally dont post my thoughts here on tumblr but since im becoming active again i want to ramble on about my favorite crenny headcanons.

mostly because i have the agenda of embedding it to the crenny nation collective consciousness. i am a woman in a mission.

Disclaimer: these are literally headcanons with either 0 or the bare minimum canonical basis. its all for good fun pls don’t attack me for rambling about south park characters on main.

1. Kenny is an English gay, Craig is a Science gay || alt title: my craig is bad at english agenda.

I don’t need to explain myself but I’m GOING to explain myself. In the series Kenny is normally the point person whenever the boys don’t know the meaning of a certain term. That’s on rich vocabulary baybee! Ok but ALSO Kenny’s is legit good at English (e.g. When he wrote the boys a letter from Hawaii, His entire Princess Kenny cold open, his Mysterion dialogues)

And now Craig, sweet precious illiterate Craig. 

need i say more? 

Craig as a science gay just makes a lot of sense to me, bc duh...space...and stuff. Leave it to Craig to calculate the rate of xyz when abc, but if you ask him to write 1 (one) single essay he will slap you. 

I love contrasting my Crenny bc that’s their primary appeal for me! I’m on that stem student x liberal arts student agenda.

2. Kenny loves his town! (Craig is on the Fence) 

It’s a really common crenny trope for them to hate the fuck out of South Park, which leads to countless runaway fics (which I ADORE, keep making them.) But you know when I thought about it, Kenny’s definitely the type to love South Park (and its inhabitants) from the Bottom of his heart.

Dude he literally took on the role of Mysterion to protect the town from the shadows (he’s been doing it for Months???), He sacrificed himself in the South park movie just to bring back things to normal. This man. Loves. His. town. 

I think Kenny’s the type to be all “Come with me, I’ll show you my secret spot.” Then have like 17 secret spots around the town. He definitely knows stuff like the quickest route to school or the best spot for stargazing. All that. 

Now Craig. I could see why he’d hate the town TBH. And that offers a nice counterbalance to Kenny (a comic is forming in my mind as we speak.)

I want Kenny to teach Craig how to love the town (kenny voice “you’re just not experiencing the town the right way!”) and I want Craig to call out Kenny (craig voice “maybe you’re just romanticizing the idea of the town because you’re scared of letting go of the last bits of your childhood”) AHAHAHAHA. Idk Man, it would be a nice dynamic to study.

lmao i just realized that most of my headcanons are just contrasting crenny. IDC!

3. manlet kenny and taaaaall craig

yall KNOW ive been on that short Crenny agenda since day 1!

BUT! but! BUT! this goes deeper. because of course im going to ramble on about this. 

*clears throat*

Craig tries to occupy as little space as possible, Kenny tries to occupy the biggest space possible.

BAM! Visual and Thematic Interest! 

I can imagine it now, Craig keeping his limbs as close to himself. Kenny stretching out his arms trying to “take more sunlight and air!” 

I like the idea of Kenny being small but no one really thinks he’s small because he carries himself like a large person. Sometimes he’d just stand up and Craig would see the top of his head and go “oh wow i forgot that you were a foot shorter than me for a split second.”

Fun stuff.

4. Mole placements because I’m a graphic design student and this is the type of shit that appeals to me.

As yall know I draw Craig with a mole under his eye and Kenny with a mole under his lip. Want to know why? Visual interest BAYBEE. Have i told you that I’m a graphic design STUDENT. 

I like it because it leads your eyes from Craig’s face to Kenny’s face or vice versa. It adds a sense of movement to any of my crenny pieces. 

Also I noticed how most crenny fics focus on how striking Craig’s eyes are and I think it’s just fitting to add a lil mole to accent it. 

As for kenny, I’m on that...........kenny kissable lips agenda.......I hc his mole to be less noticeable but MAN once you notice, it’s all you see. I can just imagine Craig going fucking crazy once he realize that there’s a mole under Kenny’s lips.

5. Craig and Kenny are innately perceptive || alt title: Crenny Bluetooth Couple

This is kinna one of my tenet headcanons. Like my entire crenny characterization hinges on this one headcanon. 

Okay get ready its DISSERTATION time. 

5A: The angst of it all

Craig and Kenny are both very perceptive. They notice. The different lies in the way they act on what they had notice.

Kenny’s an empath so he tries the best to subtly help the people around him when noone else can. Stan having a bad day? Kenny would stay with him. Kyle’s pissed off more than usual? Kenny would crack jokes he knows Kyle would laugh at. etc.etc.

Craig is very pragmatic. If it doesn’t affect him, he won’t bother. But with Kenny he just can’t help but be so concerned. 

He notices it when somethings off with Kenny. He’d notice when Kenny’s disoriented (after dying and not knowing how reality warped or sum). He’d notice when Kenny’s tired (after working overtime at city wok). He’d notice how Kenny would look at his friends lunches.

What pisses Craig the most is how Kenny just, smiles through it all. Craig’s so frustrated with how Kenny’s own friends are too caught up with their shit that they can’t notice telltale signs. 

And so he finds himself gravitating towards Kenny. Inviting Kenny to join his Wide-angle lens show after he got rejected for looking too poor. Offering to be his partner during school trips. 

5B: craigs cold hard exterior = kennys happy go lucky attitude

Craig and Kenny don’t express their true emotions. 

But the difference is: Craig doesn’t show his because he doesn’t feel  the need to. Kenny doesn’t show his because he has to. 

BAM! Interest!

Kenny has to be strong. To not worry his siblings or friends. So he just pushes through and hides it all with his hedonistic facade. 

Craig’s just.....idk he just doesn’t want 2 show his emotions for funsies idk what’s up with him. 

I like how on the surface they seem like polar opposites but fundamentally they are the same. (bc theyre soulmates)

5C: Reading craig

Kenny’s one of the few people who mastered the language of Craiganese. Alongside Ruby, Clyde, and Token. 

Kenny’s skill was innate tho and it pisses off Clyde so much.

Clyde learned how to read Craig after years of being his closest friend. It took a lot of trial and error, but he’s proud that he can understand Craig’s mood and all that.

But then comes Kenny who can read Craig immediately! What the heck! Unfair!

5D: Bluetooth couple

which leads me to the point. 

It’s funny.

It’s just funny I can imagine Crenny having entire conversations just by looking at each other.
