But peter thought she would just lose her memory as well so when she finds him one day he gets shocked and emotional and the whole thing's js fluffy, comfort with some hurt/angst

LONG TIME COMING

SUMMARY: See above. Takes place after the events of No Way Home.

WARNINGS: Inappropriate language, teenage angst and loneliness, sad times.

You'd known Peter Parker your whole life.

You went to the same pre-school, kindergarten, middle school and high school together. You were connected at the hip for life, even when Ned joined in with your little group.

When you and Ned accidentally found out that Peter is Spiderman, neither of you knew how to react or what to do. But, over time, you all got used to it.

Ned used to always tease you because he thought you had a crush on Peter. You always brushed him off and told him he was dumb, until Peter started to crush on MJ. You weren't even bothered when he liked Liz, but that was different.

MJ was like you guys. A loser and a nerd who was smart and sarcastic, and she was gorgeous. Peter loved her, and when they started dating after MJ figured out he was Spiderman, you didn't have a chance.

Then Mysterio leaked Peter's face and he was desperate to change that. Seeking out Doctor Strange and accidentally causing a tear in the Multiverse.

You met his other universe counterparts, and enemies, and everything changed after that.

Peter vanished.

Your best friend for your whole life had disappeared.

But the weird thing was no one seemed to care. No one even remembered him.

MJ, Ned, everyone you went to school with- nothing.

You asked MJ day in, day out, you spoke to Ned about him all the time. But they just thought you were losing your mind or that this boy was someone you'd met and had mistakenly thought you'd introduced.

But you knew Peter. You heard the spell Docter Strange had cast- but you remembered him. Somehow, his spell left you unaffected.

Maybe it was a strange override- you'd known him your whole life, so without Peter, you'd have no memories left. And that would definitely be suspicious. Or maybe it was how close the two of you were, some unspoken rule that you can't forget the one you love most.

Peter was your entire life- he is your entire life.

And now he's gone.

But if Peter taught you anything, it's that you can't give up. He's got to be somewhere in the city, and you're going to keep looking, no matter how big New York may be.

"You're going out again?" You mother stands in the doorway of the living room of your small apartment. You've been fighting with your shoes for the last couple of minutes, accidentally waking her up. "It's very early."

"I have to, Mom, I can't waste any time-"

"I know, I know," she sighs. Your mother is your biggest supporter, but even she is doubtful. "This... boy, your friend that no one remembers- an Avenger, a superhero. You have to find him, but... but, sweetheart, are you sure that-?"

"Yes, I'm sure- no, I'm not losing my mind, even if everyone thinks I am. I'm going to find him, if it's the last thing I do." You put your foot down, standing with your arms crossed.

Your mother sighs. "Okay- but at least wear a coat; it's horrendous out there."

You give her a sheepish smile, then a nod. Grabbing your coat off of the hook in front of your door, you pull it over your shoulders. You open the door, slamming it behind you and taking to the streets, once again.

Darkness still consumes the rougher area you live in, sunlight just starting to peek over the buildings. Your mother was right; the rain beats down on the stone streets, sending a chill through you as it sinks in through your jeans- your coat keeps your upper body dry, though.

You prefer the mornings. It's still quiet, the only people about are coming home from night shifts or having to make early commutes to work. On your days off from work, this is how you spend your time. Walking the streets every chance you can get. Every chance you've had for the last few months.

The only hint you got was when a strange boy came into MJ's work. You just knew it had to be Peter, but you were too busy covering a shift to be there.

As the shops start to open, businesses coming into full swing, the creeping thought that this might be another day wasted starts to take over. You're starting to think you're never going to see him again.

You should've said something. Before him and MJ started dating, you should've realised your feelings sooner and told him how much he meant to you- maybe then he would have come looking for you as well.

You stand outside a corner shop, taking the moment to check your phone. MJ has sent a picture of the view from MIT with Ned in it. You smile. Your friends went to college and whilst you stay in touch, you chose to start working after school to help your mother instead.

And to stay and look for Peter.

"Oh! I'm sorry, Miss," the voice strikes you as you look up. You blink repeatedly like you're imagining it.

Peter stands, having just come out of the shop, a bag of groceries in his hands as he talks to a woman he's just bumped into by mistake. You'd think his Spider Sense would make him less clumsy.

They have a brief interaction, before she slips past him and into the store. And he, of course, holds the door open for her.

"Peter," your voice barely comes out as a croak, watching him adjust his bag to carry it easier. "Peter!" You scream.

He freezes, looking up and meeting your eye as you stand in the pouring rain.

It's him. You can't believe it's him.

"(Y/N)?" He stands in some form of disbelief, completely unable to process that you just said his name.

"Peter!" You move forward, jogging towards him. You throw your arms around him, making him stumble backwards as he stiffens for a second.

In a heartbeat, his shopping scatters to the floor, his strong arms encasing you, pulling you in closer.

"(Y/N), oh my God," he mumbles into your damp hair. He pulls away, his hands on your shoulders as tears threaten to fall from your eyes. "How..? I don't understand- you remember me?"

You nod, frantically. "Of course, I do."

"But... how? How is that possible?"

"I-I don't know," you shake your head, your emotions finally caving as tears roll down your cheeks.

He pulls you back into a hug, clinging onto you like he never has before.

"Why didn't you come and find me?" You sob into his shoulder. "You spoke to MJ and Ned, I know you did." You sniff. "Why didn't you find me?"

"I-I couldn't... it's hard to explain," he sighs, pulling away again. "How about we talk about it somewhere dry, hm? I've got a place not too far away."

You give a stiff nod after a moment's hesitation. "Okay."

Peter's place is somehow worse than yours. It's a shitty one room apartment with a bed, a desk and a kitchen in the same vicinity.

"Nice place," you attempt to joke to break the awkward tension from the mainly silent walk here.

He scoffs in response. "It's not much... but, yanno, it'll do." He takes his jacket it off, hanging it up. "Here, give me your coat." You obey, taking it off and handing it to him for him to do the same.

He sits on the end of his bed. "Guess I better explain why I've not found you, huh?"

"I mean, it'd be appreciated." You rock on your heels, staying where you're stood instead of joining his side.

"I just... I couldn't..." He lets out a deep sigh. "When I saw MJ and Ned in the café, I was almost relieved you weren't there. Standing there and watching them have no idea who I was... hurt. It hurt so much. But it would've been so much worse if you were there. I couldn't bare the thought of looking at you and you not knowing who I was. Looking at me like I'm a complete stranger- I could handle MJ and Ned," he pauses, looking at you as you step closer.

Standing in front of him, he reaches for your hands, taking them in his and playing with the old ring he gave you as a birthday gift. He smiles slightly, the fact you still wear it warming him.

"But, I couldn't handle it with you." He looks up. "I couldn't do it. I couldn't face you as a stranger. My (Y/N) looking at me like I don't know anything -everything- about her?" He shakes his head, pushing his lips into a thin line. "I just... couldn't."

"I remember you. You should've."

He snorts. "Yeah, well, I know that now, don't I? You found me instead. Guess you've learnt something from me."

"Not really," you scoff. "I looked for you. Everyday for months since you vanished. I felt crazy- everyone thinks I'm losing my mind. But I knew I wasn't; I had to find you."

"I can't believe the spell didn't work on you," he chuckles lightly, and you grin, laughing too,in disbelief more than anything.

"Must be special," you joke, giving him a mischievous grin.

He rolls his eyes. "Yeah, I coulda told ya that."

Your face suddenly becomes serious. All of your feelings for Peter flooding back in the damn breaks. It's rolling over in your mind. You swore you would tell him how you felt when you found him, that you should've done it earlier.

But now, him sitting in front of you, still playing with your fingers like they're a fidget toy, you don't know if you can.

"Hey," his voice is soft, easily able to see the internal anguish you're facing. "I know that face," he nudges you, letting his hands fall to his sides. "What's wrong?"

You shake your head, taking in a deep breath. "You know, when I lost you, I thought over and over what I'd say when I found you again. And..." You trail off.

"And what? You can tell me anything, that hasn't changed."

"I know," you huff, "and I know that you're probably still in love with MJ, and I get that but... screw it, I have to tell you. I like you. More than just a friend, and it shouldn't have taken you getting a girlfriend and vanishing off of the face of the Earth for me to realise."

You look at him, in the eyes, his expression is blank but you keep going.

"I love you, Peter Parker. And I think I always have."

"You... love me?"

"You don't have to love me back. I get it, but I just had to tell you just in case I don't get another chance and lose you again."

He laughs.

Like, he actually laughs at you, making you feel even more insecure.

"What? Why are you..? Okay, it's not that funny, asshole."

"I'm not.." He grins, leaning forward before standing up, making you step back. "I've had a crush on you since we were five. I've wanted you for as long as I can remember, but I figured you didn't feel the same- I mean, you didn't act like you did. So, I tried pushing it down, dating other girls. A-and MJ meant a lot to me, but there's a reason you were the person I couldn't face."

His hand comes to your face, cupping your cheek and lifting your head to look more at him. "It's just funny because I... well, I have always loved you- and I think I probably always will."

You can hear your heartbeat in your ears, heat flushing your body as you step closer to him. Your noses brush, glancing at his lips before he fully leans in.

Your lips connect. Your hands pull on his damp shirt, his coming to your waist. You want to kiss him forever, feel him every chance you get. The heat quickly becomes more heated, the loneliness he felt washing away and the anxiety you had vanishing.

He's here.

And he's yours.

You're interrupted when your ringtone goes off.

"Sorry," you mumble as you pull away, pulling your phone out of your pocket and reading the name flashing up on your screen. "Shit, it's my Mom. Do you mind..?"

"No," he clears his throat, stepping back "'course not.

You pick up. "(Y/N)? Where are you? I've been texting you non-stop. You know I get worried when you-"

"Mom," you cut her off and she stops talking as a beat skips.

"...You found him, didn't you?" Her voice is almost happy for you, relief audibly filling her.

"Yeah," you squeak, emotions once again getting the best of you, "I found him."

Yooo, this was actually very fun to write and I very much enjoyed writing for the mcu for a change.

I have a fair few requests in atm so new requests may take a while for me to get to, but I will try to get through them ASAP.

dash himself is not very gay in this one but danny does beat him up and he gets the angst of being possessed and not remembering what happens. also this screenshot is literally so gay

4/10 for wasted potential in proving dash is gay. this couldve gone so much harder. but bonus points for for passed out dash

9: Doctor’s Disorders

fellas is it gay to lock yourself in a bathroom stall so fenturd doesnt see the horrible monster youve become, tell him to ‘get away,’ and then pass out before being able to fight him despite being a school jock who could probably deal some damage and has a better immune system than the other kids? is it also gay to then when your entire life revolves around ghosts and having ghost powers to watch a sappy romcom while waiting for phantom to come save you? the answer is yes. 6/10 again it couldve gone harder

8: Frightmare

again dash himself isnt explicitly gay in this episode. but danny why is your ultimate dream scenario being best friends with dash and having him know your secret. it gets a higher rating than the other two bc its literally a wish fulfillment scenario aka 174% more gay. but mathematically speaking 2/10 for baiting me with dash in the first two minutes and then never bringing him back

7: Forever Phantom

“watch it, fentertainment tonight! i’m chasin’ a real somebody!” 10/10

also spending the entire episode devoted to hanging with phantom + another reference to the romance channel. not very nuanced but still very gay

6: Reality Trip

what do you think it means when the school jock finds out your secret, wastes exactly 0 time in helping you, and finds a way to shoehorn in giving you his clothes to wear while doing it. dash was only in this entire movie for like 4 minutes but damn if he wasnt homosexual for all of them 7/10

5: Ultimate Enemy

”but dash wasn’t even IN the ultimate enemy!!11!1!” EXACTLY. if older dash had been in the future with dark dan he simply would have smooched him and then there would have been no conflict. if younger dash had shown up to the big fight then dark dan wouldve broke down sobbing at what couldve been. they had to restrain dash from this entire episode bc of his power. 9/10 i know the truth.

4: Splitting Images

it is important to remember that dash has no goddamn idea that’s sidney. danny literally does 1 (one) nice thing for him and dash decides “ok well i will be his best friend and play football with him and be impressed by his skills and then throw a party and also put my hands on his shoulders several times.” this proves my point that if danny werent a little shit he and dash would already have been dating by the time the show starts. 8/10 for letting dash be mundanely gay instead of knowing anything about ghosts. it doesnt happen very often

3: Attack of the Killer Garage Sale

do you ever just get a tutor who happens to be the exact sister of that nerd you pick on and also call him a twink and then invite him to your party even though you do not have to and specifically tell him the dress code and get him at the popular kids table and then realize he might not have the money for the dress code so you intentionally seek him out to give him money for some computery thing you dont know about but you also also realize that probably isnt enough so last minute you change the entire dress code to something you know he has and wear his exact outfit to make him seem cool by comparison. do you ever do that.

2: Micro Management

the pièce de résistance of all dash content. im talking 20 minutes of nonstop dash. im talking taking every opportunity to talk about how cool phantom is. im talking abt getting grabbed by phantom to be saved by him. im talking abt having a mental breakdown cause you think youre not good enough. im talking about casually flirting via jokes. im talking being unable to stop thinking abt fenton even when youre face to face with your biggest hero. im talking about saying “we did it!!! :D” to cheer on said hero. im talking taking his hand. holding his hand. being lifted or pulled. im talking abt flipping the switch to save the day! im talking abt micro fucking management baybey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 12/10

1: Pirate Radio

he SAVES him. he calls him a hero. they are on EQUAL FOOTING and they KNOW IT. they have MATCHING GODDAMN OUTFITS!!!!!!!!!!! dashs personality doesnt have to be absolutely scrapped for him to be gay (”but i will be wailing on you”) but he clearly DOES get better (”sorry, old habits.”) he puts his heart and soul into fighting side by side w danny and we dont even SEE dashs parents which means that is Not Exactly The Reason he Is Here. he also believes with 0 hesitation that fenton is capable of throwing a total rager. NO there is not as much dash here as in micro management but. i mean look at these screenshots. THIS is gay representation. THESE are some genuine fucking boyfriends. 18/10

Are Iida's legs okay?? (Iida quirk hc)

• If he punctured his engine would it heal or would he weld it?

If it's a biological thing, which I think I should assume it is since it grows out of him, then it would heal.

What if it's a Bakugou thing, like how Bakugou doesn't sweat nitroglycerin, he sweats nitroglycerin like sweat. What if it's not metal, it's just a metal-like skin.

Wait is Testutestu actually metal or is it hardened skin like metal?

I bet he isn't sure if it would heal or he'd need to weld it and this keeps this man up at night. He asked Midoriya his opinion but Midoruya just mumbled to himself for hours until he was distracted because it is now midnight and Iida asked him at lunch.

• Those are blue flames we see coming from those engines are known to go into overheat and to my knowledge, he has normal skin around that so that would hurt right??

THE NERVE DAMAGE THIS MAN MUST HAVE???

He has insanely high pain tolerance to deal with this stuff and it's really a detriment. He can get stabbed in the leg and not know unless he looks down because he legit just doesn't feel anything.

He has a bunch of scars around his calves too from scrapes he didn't really think were that deep, so when he thought they were healed enough he'd pick the scab off thinking the skin was grown fine underneath it but no. Picking the scab makes it look like a murder scene with all the blood. That was an interesting night when he had to explain why he had blood on his hands to Tensei who walked in on him by the sink.

• And how does fuel work?? again those are B L U E and purple flames! you need a lot of fuel and gas for that stuff?

Wiki says "he drinks orange juice as a source of fuel for his Quirk, while carbonated drinks make him stall" so it's like Momo's quirk but then what the fuck is his stomach doing?? (Also why doesn't he have Orange Juice or capri suns on hand then??? Give him compartments in his suit for orange juice if that is his literal fuel????)

Poor doctors in mha, 1. Mutant quirks change anatomy so much, the organs have to change too, so things are probably never in the same place, and what if they find a new organ then don't know what is or why it's there?? Same goes for emitter quirks, different things are gonna be different specialised to each individual, AND TRANSFORMATION QUIRKS. DOES IT ALL CHANGE?? DO ORGANS AND BONES AND STUFF ALL JUST CHANGE?? WHAT IF THEY NEED TO GO SURGERY BUT THE DOCTORS DONT KNOW WTF THEYRE LOOKING AT?? • He's a try hard nerd jock so I bet he chugged gasoline one time to see if it would make him run faster.

I bet he did all the maths, all the equations and probabilities, and he still drank it. Tesei saw, took pictures and hangs them up around the house to forever use as blackmail.

• Back on about the Orange juice thing, if the fuel is made of that, then does he leave CO2 or nah? Does it smell of Oranges? Is it a nice smell? Is he just a walking fragrencer?

Because it would be warm oranges because y'know it's fire. Would that smell good? are there fumes with it too? is it like flatulence and oranges? because you do need gas for those blue flames.

Iida has been around the smoke from his engines all his life so he's gone nose-blind toward it and no one gives him a straight answer when he asks if it smells of anything. Uraraka said burnt marshmallows, Tensei (who is also nose-blind to it) said pineapple, Izuku took a whiff and got high. No one is allowed to purposefully whiff it anymore.

• This man needs more leg support damn. That much thrust from his calves can not be good for his knees. I know he's grown up with it so he's used to it, and he either has the strongest knees in existence from all that endurance or his knees dislocate every other time he uses his quirk.

He has so much joint pain. He wants to get a walking stick for his joint pain and it confuses villains because they think that must mean he's out of commission but no, he can easily withstand the pain, the cane just helps. And can also be used as a weapon. The aesthetic bastard probably makes it look like a sword to match his aesthetic.

• Speaking of aesthetic, he saw Denki playing portal 2 one time and saw the characters long fall boots and instantly fell in love with them (he wants to commission Mei to make them but is honestly too scared to,)

He runs so quickly, if he goes up a ramp he will go flying and when he lands, having those kind of boots to cushion the fall wouldhelp exponentially. Also it'll make him even taller and I'm all for that. They also fit his aesthetic!

• More speaking of his aesthetic. I get the whole knight shtick is a family thing and it is also very endearing. But the wind drag. Wind resistance isn't really a problem for us because we go at human speed. He goes at human speed but the human has engines in his legs. That much clunky armour is good for protection especially to cushion the blow if he messes up a run and crashes into something and it's also good for blunt force trauma for up close attacks but there is gonna be so much wind drag. He already has enough speed where it doesn't matter too much if he is dragged just a little bit but I imagine wind drag could mess up balance and stuff. And here's where I'm torn, because he's a rich kid who is proud of his family so wants to carry on the tradition, same hero name, same hero aesthetic, same stuff like that, but should that really go above functionality? I'm not saying to minimise wind resistance he should wear a leotard or speedo or something with no armour like that, and idk the materials used, but that armour looks heavy.

He has so much inner turmoil about this. He always has an identity crisis when this is brought up.

• This bitch's metabolism tho. Orange juice is one fuel, what are the others? whatever they are, he should be eating a lot of it because that stuff gets burnt up so quick. He wouldn't be chubby, because all of his running, and he already looks like a big sturdy guy, I'm just saying, for efficiency, he should look like how Russian Women Who Fight Bears, or a Viking, that kinda physique, strong as hell, big and sturdy.

• He should have prescription goggles instead of glasses. Or. Y'know. CONTACT LESNES. SO YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY. ABOUT YOUR GLASSES BREAKING. OR FALLING OFF WHEN YOU ZOOM. But I do understand it's for the nerd-jock trope. Guess he cares about aesthetic more than functionality 😔 but goggles can keep wind out your eyes if tho. He looks like a lovable doofus either way.

Uraraka recommends contact lenses since he forgot those existed.

Who's your favourite doctor (from Doctor Who) and favourite companion? (Those are my standard questions every time I come across someone who watches Doctor Who.)

Oh boy (this is gonna be a long post 😂😂)

It's kinda difficult for me to do favourites but I'll try.

I've watched season 1 to 11 from the 2005 reboot so what I am saying is based on that.

First of all , I do not like 9. Idk if this is controversial of sth but 9 is just boring. The writing this season is awful (3 EPISODES WITH FARTING ALIENS ?!?!? REALLY?!??!) with the notable exception of where-is-my-mummy episodes. Even the 9th doctor's outfit is plain and not even close to the other iconic doctor-outfits we had through the seasons. The only thing I adore from that season is Captain Jack. I love him. He owns my whole heart and no I will not elaborate.

So since 9 is out of the way I'll talk about 10th,11th,12th and 13th.

Firstly in terms of writing/story:

11th had clearly the best writing and the most interesting plot in his seasons (mainly the whole River Song- subplot and fantastic monsters like the Angles and The Silence. )

Same goes for 12th with episodes like Hell Bent /Heaven sent or that inception-like Christmas episode etc. (Capaldi's last season was kinda weak so that's why I put him second here)

Then we have the 10th doctor. I liked the Master and every episode Moffat has written but I wasn't a fan of episodes like Doomsday (yeah a lot of dramatic stuff happened but the deus-ex-machina at the end threw me off)Also 10th had really well written companions (I love Donna and Martha)

Finally we have the 13th. WHY CHIBNALL WHY?!?! The 11th season was boring. All the master were human-like things with deep voices and the only episodes I actually liked was the Rosa Parks episode and Demons of the Punjab.(and I liked them coz of their interesting historical setting.The aliens were again shit.)Also 13th had a huge companion-problem. WHY GIVE HER 3 GODDAMNED COMPANIONS?!?!?There wasn't time for any actual character development for any of them. They were just plain stereotypes. I wish that they would ditch Ryan and his Grandfather and keep Yasmin as the companion.(idk despite the shit writing I still love Yaz and I think that Mandip and Jodie have great chemistry)

Now in terms of acting

I LIKE ALL OF THEM.

I love david Tennant coz he even tho he gave the character that playfulness/silliness you could still fill all the underlying anger that came from all the time war related stuff.

I love Matt Smith coz when I look at the 11th doctor I dont just see a young face. I see that 900 year old creature who's been through a lot and is running away from his past. (Bonus: BOW TIES ARE COOL)

I love Peter Capaldi coz he gave us a more angry/disappointed (emo?!?!) Side of the doctor.(Bonus: The war speech at the Zygon Invasion episode is def one of my favourite dr who scenes of all time)

I love Jodie Whittaker too. I believe she captured very well the eccentric part of the character and I am surprised that she still delivered such a good performance given how shitty the script was.

Soo I am done with the doctors let get to companions now.😂

I ADORE MARTHA JONES. SHE IS AWESOME. SHE IS GREAT. I AM IN LOVE WITH HER.

I love Amy Pond too. I just like her character and the whole idea of the girl who waited/ is tired of waiting any more is great. Also the romance with Rory 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼.(plus !!!!!!!!!SEASON 7 SPOILERS!!!!!!!! the Angels in Manhattan episode ripped my heart into pieces and given my current Merlin obsession I seem to I love that🤣)

Donna is HILARIOUS. Catherine Tate + David Tennant = Comedy Gold.

Clara Oswald was great too and worked really well with Capaldi's doctor.

I like Bill Potts too. Her story is kinda needlessly confusing and not that interesting but I cannot help but stan a gay science fiction nerd

Yasmin has the potential to be a great companion but as I mentioned before...shit writing

I don't even consider Ryan and Graham to be companions ...they're just there... just entities that exist in the tardis....def not companions

Finally ......maybe the most controversial part of this post: I do not like Rose Tyler. I do not like how she treats Mickey (I do not like Mickey either but that's besides the point ) I absolutely hate that whole romance between her and the doctor.And overall I find her annoying. (I think Billie Piper is a great actress tho)

The Dilemma of 049 being a ~*Medieval*~ doctor: a ramble from a history nerd

TLDR: I am a tired history nerd who got invested in some plague doctors and did some research. As they say “ I kriffed around, I found out.” bird boi doctors are not medieval not even close. I have a fiction writing dilemma and I'm thinking maybe of grinding axes. 

More below the cut cause, hahahha, oops. I wrote this as thought to text so its just a bit weird and whole lot of rambley. It was going to be an authors note, but no, I need other opinions on this mess. 

OKAY SOOOOOO doctors wearing beaks was like a 17th 18th-century thing so I guess this is when the bois (049 and 049-J) be from (violent shrugging.) I mean I was putting them, in my head in that first big plague that is super famous in the 1300s…. Cause medieval aesthetic is king. But I guess technically, small towns were still functioning similarly, with feast days and the like, with just a lot of trade and the whole Americas thing going on. and technically there was more than one plague.

But wait!!!! The SCP site says “a medieval plague doctor”, but technically the medieval period ranges from about 500 BCE to around 1500 BCE. Far before burb mask bois were wacking people. I might just combust. SO the question is as follows, what in the haran do I do. Fall to the aesthetic of the medieval age and suffer the misery that is being a history fanatic writing history incorrectly on purpose, OOOOORRRR go with the correct way with 17th and 18th-century bois in bird masks with no medieval flavor text mixed into the backstories. 

(And then there’s the whole mess of other things I’ll have to consider, like martin Luthor drop kicking Germany in 1500’s and making those fractures different branches (how would that affect the troupe of doctors from Jay’s past in a 17th-century backdrop? Religious debates? Edmund- maybe fleeing England cause king henry the 8th who wanted to rid himself of a wife that didn’t pass the vibe check and then that sending the country into Protestantism after a brief and bloody stab stab from queen mary? Or in the medieval route the fact that it’s been like 700 years these birds have been roaming free and no one thought to burn them. Also alchemy and astrology are going strong in the 1300’s. anD THere was crusades and the church. The church is still around in the 17th century but crusades lasted till about 1400s (i think)

Honestly, a very small part of me wants to both toss myself into a furnace and/or find out who put ~medieval~ as a descriptor for a bird boi when that outfit was not around till Charles de L'Orme decided to invent the *look* 1630, a time distinctly after the generally accepted medieval times, which end in 1500, cause guess who walked through the door with lattes and confidence, that’s right, the Renaissance and it’s printers, artists, and thinkers (around 1400s it started up cause history is messy and there’s no such thing a clear lines) and the whole globalization thing that spun in on the heels of 1492 ( but was already vibing with trade to the east through Mediterranean routes and the Medici, who had mula. Any way. I am undecided as of yet what exactly I’m going to do, cause I like to try for accuracy but I also am addicted to bardcore.

(please dont ask about plague naming conventions cause that also changes with the time period that 049 could originate from making the whole: “When you say "The Great Dying", are you talking about the bubonic plague?” from doctor hamm a slightly absurd question as Im not sure when that title came into use and if bird boi over here had ever heard of it. Premise (spoilers for the first episode and the existence of a major character).

in the pseudo-Bronze Age, two races of people (the sarams and the neanthals) live in an uneasy co-existence. the sarams want an alliance for the neanthal’s lands so that they can farm and mine, the neanthals are like lol we don’t need any of that because we actually have survivalist skills so keep your agriculture you nerds b y e.

the leader of the saram is Not Having That, and sends an envoy (asa hon) to allegedly act as a diplomat. what she actually does is unknowingly carries a plague that wipes out a huge chunk of the neanthals. because that is not enough, the leader sends his son (tagon) to wrap up the rest of this genocide.

asa hon is betrayed and upset and doesn’t return to the sarams. instead, she shacks up with a surviving neanthal named ragaz and they have spoilers twin boys spoilers, hybrids known as igutu. based on Prophecy, any children born under the blue flame comet are Destined to bring calamity. so, doom babies. they are two doom babies.

after killing ragaz, tagon snatches one of the babies For Reasons, and asa hon flees with the other

flashforward about a decade.

the neanthals are extinct OR ARE THEY we get a pretty Quick understanding of who tagon is as a human as he’s re-introduced drinking out of one of their skulls before being surrounded by his hypemen who chant his name Gaston style. he’s joined by taeahla, and they are a Match Made in Hell. it’s quickly revealed that taeahl is raising the other twin baby, who is kept hidden because he’s igutu. and, like, tagon’s famous because he killed all of the neanthal, so having one of their hybrid babies is ngl

asa hon makes it to a land beyond the saram’s influence, where she and eunseom come across a tribe called wahan. they’re lead by a ten-year-old tanya, who had a dream that eunseom would arrive. which is a big deal, because sarams can’t dream. it turns out tanya was also born on Blue Comet Doom Prophecy Day. asa hon dies from the injuries she obtained saving her son, and eunseom is raised by the wahan tribe. it’s a very idyllic existence for them.

until tagon and his men invade in a manifest-destiny-realness bid to capture slaves and conquer land and ruin wahan’s coachella festival before enslaving all of them and bringing what survives of the tribe to arthdal.

the plot then centers around eunseom trying to rescue the wahan tribe, the wahan tribe trying to survive arthdal, and something about gods being reborn, political backstabbing, a church cult being absolute dicks, and a lot of interchangeable evil old men

it’s a fucking awesome show.

this bitch but also that bitch. almost single-handedly responsible for the genocide of the neanthals, tagon’s grown into the leader of an army that is the definition of ride-or-die for him. he has a 100% approval rating in arthdal due to defeating the neanthal, defeating the ago tribe, and defeating the will to live for the thousands of slaves he supplies for arthdal’s terrible economic system. he starts the series off with Pure Intentions, in that he wants to rule but he wants to do it by The Love of The People. because that works out well for people who habitually wear black cloaks

poster child #1 for arthdal’s fantastic hair products for men, will smirk you to death, you feel sorry for him a lot and you’re like why?? but then yeaaah, can only stare in heart eyes at his partner in subterfuge...

MY WIFE said partner in subterfuge. i cannot spell her fucking name ever. her and tagon have been Not Together for over ten years. she’s the heiress to the hae tribe, who are known for their inventions and are the only tribe that knows how to smith bronze into weapons. therefore she’s hot shit. and also just hot. she seems like the character You’re Not Going to Like but she became one of my favorites after the first episode.

she wants to help tagon in his ambitions, but she also v much wants to see his ambitions help herself. her and tagon made an Oath to never sacrifice their survival for the other and that’s the most metal thing i’ve ever heard. she wears couture. would get a pre-nup. can and will fuck you up. and she also raises the Hidden Igutu Twin Doom Baby...SPOILERS

so at this point you’re probably thinking a few things: this show needs more beautiful hair and pro fashion sense, a complete shit stirrer, and a morally ambiguous pretty boy.

saya is eunseom’s twin brother, although neither of them know about the other’s existence. because of their neanthal blood, they can see snapshots of each other’s lives in their dreams. as his existence would lead to death, and would DEFINITELY garner tagon some bad PR, saya’s been locked away in his princess tower for the majority of his life. he views tagon and taeahla as his father and mother, and that’s not necessarily a good thing.

daddy’s boy. wants to kill birds for fun. has the hots for the girl who can teach him how to kill birds for fun. surprisingly religious???

ok i find it extremely funny that first aid was demoted from doctor to nurse, as if that's a thing that happens EVER - I mean it'd be one thing if first aid was a nurse practitioner (which i doubt is a position that exists here), at least that demotion would make sense, but like...the doctors i work with don't know how to do most nurse stuff (like BP, cathing, vaccinations, hell even using some of the thermometers - that's all stuff nurses/etc do), so demoting one to a nurse would be a disaster (just like promoting a really good nurse to a doctor would be a bad idea). anyways i know I'm being pedantic but it Be like that when you work in the medical field and read something that has medicine-related stuff in it

another important facet of pharma’s character becomes clear around this time as well - how he’s really into ratchet. i also choose to read them as awful exes tbh, it makes their dynamic even more entertaining

and that wraps up the delphi arc! our first true ‘arc’ of mtmte, and a fantastic one at that. short and snappy and fresh, with some very clever writing and cool new characters, and a lot of great plot threads to be picked up later. plus, we got to see the beginnings of drift and ratchet’s whole thing (and ratchet and pharmas whole thing). and the lost light gets some much needed extra medical staff, so everyone wins! 

well, we’ll see how fort max feels about this all pretty soon.....

he has adhd

most of my headcanons kinda flow into my own version of dick figures because i’m not very Satisfied with canon NJSJDNSKM so like. for example red doesn’t just kill people or whatever. he gets into fights and has scars and wears bandaids a lot bc of them

he graduated college with blue, he got a bachelor’s degree in fine arts (honestly idk how college works bc im a grade 10 baby so if thats like totally wrong just let me know also im. canadian so idk how american school system works LOL)

red got suspended a lot in high school but never expelled. mostly bc he got in fights that were mainly him protecting stacey from shitty people (he sees her as his sister so he was rlly protective) and the school wasnt really sure what else to do so they just. you know. suspended him a bunch of times hoping itd do something but it didnt

he hates his dad! reason being is bc when he was born, his dad was actually an alien able to disguise himself as human, so he wanted to take red back to his home planet cuz red turned out to be more powerful than anything his dad had ever seen. but red’s mom was like Nope, so she snuck out with him and his plush cat (kitty amazing) and they were never found. red is very close with his mom and is scared of his dad coming back someday

we know he canonically likes rlly loud music so im just gonna project here and say he’s a metalhead. at least, some form of it. he likes the alt scene music and industrial rock. examples being deftones, nine inch nails, skinny puppy, rage against the machine, kittie and others. it keeps him focused and calm

we know blue was bullied as a kid but i dont wanna say red also bullied him bc i feel like thats just wrong to me? MAYBE ITS NOT ACTUALLY but it just makes me sad so like. lets say red, being as protective as he is, stood up for blue a lot cuz he was like “oh this kid cant fight” so he knew what to do

blue dated pink for awhile but they mutually agreed to break up after blue realized this wasnt what he wanted (he came to the conclusion that he was gay, well, he knew for awhile but it was Internalized Homophobia)

he grew up in a very conservative family so to see the world completely differently by meeting red, ems (lt), pink and stacey was a very good thing for him. unfortunately even tho his family did love him, it was conditional so they stopped talking to him after he came out. thankfully he’d already graduated high school by that point

despite being emotional blue isn’t very good at understanding how he’s an emotional person. he’s able to distinct one feeling from another and analyze them, but it’s just... hard for him to kind of. process WHY he feels a certain way? which is what’s led to a lot of his struggles in getting closer with ppl

he loooves reading and writing we already know this but i mean come on. he also got a bachelor’s degree in english/ela. so he’s able to become a teacher ig but he doesn’t really want to? at least not for awhile yet

blue was ems’ first friend. at first he couldn’t understand why they had tics but decided he shouldn’t get into someone else’s business. he didn’t find it weird, just cool!

he and red would always pair up for projects if they had classes together!!!!!! blue would do the writing/research and red would do the illustrations. they always turned out really good even if it ended with red cramming it at the last minute

pink encourages stacey to go back to school, and sometimes stacey does, but she always ends up leaving again. it’s a little stressful but pink has hope for her

she’s never drank one sip of alcohol in her entire life. she smoked weed once, but it felt weird so she didn’t do it again

ever since she and blue broke up she’s been very supportive of him bc she herself is bisexual!!! so she sees nothing weird about it. in fact, about almost a year later she started dating stacey

pink’s real name is lily. when she became friends with blue she met red through him and she was like “can i join your nickname thing” and they said “sure” so they called her pink. stacey sometimes calls her pinky or just pink but mostly lily

My Heart and Head Hurt.

So Very, Very Much

I am Asexual. I like cuddling, kissing, loving touches, I even love to make inappropriate sex jokes. Okay, I can make some pretty lewd sex jokes but that’s what happens when like 90% of your friends for the past ten years identify as pansexual. I just don’t feel sexual attraction and I am mostly repulsed by sex (ehhh it’s too much to explain).

At the first of the year, I moved to Texas from Michigan. Leaving behind all my friends, which with the internet isn’t terrible... but also my friends are shit at peopling on the Internet. Not angry or blame, they all have depression and anxiety. I get it. Just saying it’s hard to pretty much completely lose that connection with my friends. My friends are also the type where we would all pile into my bed and watch videos while cuddling with each other and my dogs. They spent so much time caring for me after my surgeries.

Being handicapped, and still learning how to live with it (it’s a relatively recent thing and takes relearning how to live life in a way that works for your limitations) I live with my parents. They are great but... they have their own mental health issues that really fucked me up as I grew up. It means that I don’t feel like I can open up or talk to them about anything because of what happened back then. I love them and I know they would do anything for me, but it’s just this thing I have. Heck, I have trouble opening up to my therapist for a long time. My therapist, who I also had to leave in Michigan. And Texas Medicaid? Kind of non-existent. Plus, I’m too old for my parents to be taking care of me, you know western standards and all, so I can’t have insurance through them.

Basically, I ran out of some of my medicine months ago, which means I live in near constant pain too. I can’t go see a therapist, because I can’t afford it. I haven’t run out of my depression medication yet, so there is that.

Since my accident (I will do another post on that later, because that will take a while), I haven’t been able to work. The accident was in December 2011, since 2013, I have had ten surgeries. I started back to school because it doesn’t seem like I’ll ever be up for any type of manual labor. But it also means I feel useless because physically I’m limited and mentally I am so fucked up I can’t do what I can handle doing. I graduated with my Bachelor (really proud of) but Texas has some different requirements that will add a lot of time towards getting my Masters, because Michigan didn’t have those requirements. This means I am going to enroll in an accredited online program, hopefully. Have to get accepted, fingers crossed.

To summarize, for ten months I have been isolated in a different state, dealing with body trying to adjust to different weather and medicine changes. Self isolation isn’t helping but the other problem is when I do reach out, there isn’t someone there...

Background info done, now to what’s troubling me:

My best friend and girlfriend is also Asexual. We’ve been together for almost eight years, but it’s always been long distance (we’re Ace, it doesn’t bug us too much) and I have gone to visit her. We started “talking” through Role Play and until recently, whenever there was lulls in life when a lot wasn’t happening, we could lean back on the Role Play to stay connected. There wasn’t a day when we didn’t talk to each other, even during the hospital visits we both went through, we stayed connected in some small way. And we talked about everything and anything. Our fandoms didn’t always match up, but it was fun listening and learning... I thought...

She was dealing with a lot of stuff, and for a few years was out of work, probably why she had so much time and energy for me. It was really bad for her for a while, where she even verbally attacked me on a few occasions. I know it wasn’t her but her mental illness, so I forgive her for it. But it was bad.

She was raised super Christian (DONT celebrate Halloween because it’s evil type Christian), and she has always been Christian even if she yelled at God a lot in her low days. Yeah, the good Christian girl is dating the Goth Pagan Celtic Witch... whatever you will call me. I’ve been Pagan for about 2/3rds of my life by now, so it’s not like she didn’t know she I was one. She’s never tried to shame or convert me.

My Bachelor is in Religious Studies, I know how good a religion can be for someone’s mental health if they are religious. I would talk to her about rekindling her faith. Finding a church she could at least go sit and listen to, so she could reconnect. She did! And it’s been amazing for her mental health. She has held a steady job for a while, actually is the poster child for the program that helped her move foreword and get her life back in order. I am so very proud of her and I do love her so much.

I just think... she’s outgrown me. The only fandom she talks about anymore is... Christianity. She doesn’t talk about LoZ anymore. She doesn’t talk about Tolkien. She doesn’t watch anime or cartoons anymore. She has no interest in Role Playing, as I said a big part of staying connected.

She talks about work, her cats, crocheting, and her religion. The thing is, I can’t fault her for any of it if it’s what’s best for her. She deserves happiness and stability. But...even when I’m back in school and when I get a job I don’t think I could leave the world of fantasy and fiction behind.

I grew up going to Ren Faires, my dad wearing tights. My first boyfriend I met at Ren Faire, while he was in tights. Labryinth and The Last Unicorn are still my favorite movies of all time! I collect Dragons of all sorts. I’ve watched the whole series of Fraggle Rock a few times, because it’s just wholesome and sweet.

My parents are Trekkies, my mom has had some of her fanfiction a published in old Starlog Zines. We watch fantasy, fiction, actions, cartoons... my mom has always loved the world of books, especially fantasy. She collects unicorns, so many unicorns. When I got into Anime, so did my mom. Kenshin is still her favorite, although to be fair she loved Ultron and Speed Racer when they first came to the states (she says Speed Racer was her first ever crush).

My brothers love the same thing, my oldest brother still fans for Jason David Frank. My other brother, well, he named his cat Pandea after WoW, we have his LotR sword collection, all his movie memorabilia...

We’re nerds and dorks and not afraid to be so.

Since the move the only thing making me happy has been my animals (Gods and Goddesses the fluffy bastards are clingers and just want to love you and be loved which is something I need) and fantasy. I’ve watched several animes I just want to gush about, but if you don’t have someone who is watching it too... you don’t want to ruin it. I want to just talk someone’s ear off about Steven Universe or Miraculous the Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir. Hell, even Ducktales and Tangled. Do you know how AMAZING they have made Ducktales?! I watched the original series when I was younger but...! And all the inside jokes!!!!

The books! I probably read about thirty or forty in one month when I went on a book binge. They were all trashy romance novels, and admittedly the sex scenes were... meh... I’m Asexual, what do you expect?! Okay... some Aces like sex and stuff. It’s not that important to me. What is, is the connection two people have to each other. The love. And trashy romance novels aren’t the best at giving that... but it’s something.

Oh and the Webcomics. I have always, always loved Webcomics. I used to have the folders on my old computer organized down to the day of the week the comics updated because I so many, that I had to organize them just to get the right updates! Right now Lore Olympics. OMG Lore Olympics. Be still my heart! I am reading several on WEBTOON. I have a few I follow through DeviantArt; Erma is so frikken cute! Daughter of the Lilies, ahhhhhh so amazing and the artwork!!! Pincushion! Constructs will always have a place in my heart!

I just got into the Good Omens fandom, because I’m a Whovian and Tennant is defiantly one of my most favorite of Doctors. He was just so beautiful in it. And when I took my Shakespeare course my teacher had us watch Hamelt and ohhhhh Tennant. Ohhhh you really can’t tell if Hamlet has gone crazy or it’s an act (which he claims it is!!). Sir Patrick Stewart was also just... oh!!! I entered Good Omens because my Instagram was all Ineffable Husbands (I think because of my Doctor Who love). Finally, finally i watched it.

That was like three weeks ago I got into Good Omens and I still am completely in love. The tenderness, the loving looks. I have to read the book! And the script book! (Depression, yay!). I need to listen to the radio adaptation and revisit Queen (I was raised on rock’n’roll. And I mean, David Bowie has probably been the only Rock Star I ever went heart-eyes for... also kinda sad he wasn’t mentioned in Good Omens because he did work with Queen and let’s face it, Bowie was so gender-nonconforming!). I just want to ramble and babble on and on about the series with someone. About all the hidden bits and pieces and theories and things in my head!!!

But... I don’t have anyone. My girlfriend sort of shuts down when I talk about any of the fandoms I like. She will just skip those parts of the conversation and comment on the animal videos I send her or something else. She will talk about work or God. Again, I’m know Religion and people. If there is something I know best is you can’t dictate what someone else’s beliefs are. So while I know the Bible and Christian theory, when she talks about it and tells me stories I can only “nod” and “smile” because if a persons religion isn’t harming themselves or others, and it’s helping them, I don’t think it would be right to argue theory and philosophy with them over what is mostly fairytale stories in a book. I’m not saying their isn’t a Christian God, or many Gods, or things in the Bible didn’t happen, but not all of it is factual nor was it ever meant to be seen as strictly factual. I try to show I am at least paying attention to what she says.

At the same time, with the state I have been in, I probably haven’t given her what she needs when she is telling me about stuff.

Fantasy and fiction has been the only thing keeping me afloat. Religion and work has been helping her. I just can’t see a world without the magic of make-believe but that’s not where she is anymore.

So... I’ve been thinking for a bit now maybe we’re no longer what we need for each other in our lives. Not that we don’t love each other, and not that we can’t still be friends... but maybe it’s time we adventure out? We were what we needed from each other for years... maybe we just aren’t that anymore.

Character explanations/ mini story under the cut

So after watching Rise of the Guardians (one of my fav animated movies) I got the idea for an AU where the egos are like the Guardians of the JSE community.

Their designs are based off/ inspired by the characters in the movie but instead of just drawing the egos as those characters, I more so let them inspire re-creations of their outfits/ powers

Chase: Jack Frost- Guardian of Family

In the beginning he doesn’t see himself as a guardian. He’s a screw up, a washout. But even through his depression he tries to make others happy before himself. He does this by having fun and trying to get those in the community to join in with him! It’s later on that he realizes he has a part to play and that his is making sure everyone is still together as one big community. He’s here to remind us that in troubling times that we all have each other- that we’re all family.

JBM: Santa- Guardian of Hope

Being the super hero of the group, it’s JBM’s job to protect the innocent and give off the appearance of being something people can depend upon- someone who can protect everyone from danger. He helps the community become strong and makes them laugh along the way (even if he has to make a fool of himself to do it, he loves our smiles)- he gives them hope.

Marvin: Tooth Fairy- Guardian of Creativity (Sams: small Tooth Fairies)

Much like tooth fairy in the movie, it’s Marvin’s job to collect fanart/ fanworks and store them so when the community forgets all that they have built together, he shows them. Not only that, he inspires the content creators and represents their passion for their art. And it’s what he protects. (Along with the help of the little Sams who are the ones who actually collects and re-distributes it so everyone can see what they’ve made.)

Jameson: Sandman- Guardian of Positivity

Arguably one of the most important guardians of the community, JJ is there to remind people the importance of PMA. In his own quiet ways, he encourages the members to think on the bright side- or is just there to give hugs and be there for them. Whenever someone is in such a dark place, he uses his powers to show them that they still have so much potential and that they’re not alone. He give them a light in a dark place to hold onto. (Yes, he uses sign language AND the sand symbols for those who don’t understand sign)

Schneep: Bunny- Guardian of Health

Being the good doctor of the group, he’s there to remind the community to take care of themselves. Yes he may be a lil aggressive in the way he gives out advice, but for a lot of people they need their butts a little kicks to get them moving to help themselves. But not only physical health, he’s also willing to sit down and talk about mental health and analyze what the problem is/ works to help you understand how to improve yourself.

Anti: The Boogieman- “Guardian” of Fear and Chaos

And last but not least, our dear little firestarter. For so LONG he’s waited, waited to be in the spotlight. Before the other egos show up it was just him and it was delicious. He had so much power as he fed off of our fears, insecurities, and of course the headcanons and theories we made about him. But then Jack HAD to make more egos and fill the community with positivity and light. So he sunk back and waited for his opportunity- he waited for his powers to grow strong in the background. And with all of the hints being dropped and community fueling the fire in a continuous positive feedback loop, he gains more and more strength every day. He reminds the community not everything is peachy and rosy. That there are awful things in the world and how you’re just a tiny ripple in a storming ocean. Insignificant. He doesn’t want to stamp out the community- that would be counterproductive. No he just wants them to feel fear for the channel- that nothing is safe anymore- at any turn he could be there. And with that everything always comes back to him.

And sooner or later, the others will fade away...

Extra Headcanons/ Tidbits:

Before they were all guardians they were other people. (TW: death and suicide mentions) -Anti was a reckless criminal and one night his “friends” betrayed him, leaving him behind which wound up being the end of him. They were running from the police and were trying to jump a tall fence when his comrades left the struggling man behind to take the fall. He did in more ways than one. -JBM was just a regular dude, but he sacrificed himself to save a kid getting hit by a bus in the city. Even though he was about to die he kept asking if the kid was okay. The medics told him he saved them and that’s all he needed to hear. -Marvin was a street magician in his time. He did tricks to cheer up people sitting on the sidewalk/ sitting alone and talked to them about their passions. Later the same people would come back and tell him about the new job they got or the current project they were working on. He pulled a teen off the side of a bridge and a local cop mistook it for him attacking her and.. well.. things escalated quickly -Henrik was an upstanding surgeon. He saved lives every day in his career. Even though his wife and child left him, he worked every day to become a better doctor and continued to save people. And after the surgeries he would personally counsel the patients to make sure they were okay physically and mentally. But one day.. they didn’t have a matching organ for the patient on standby.. and he knew he matched the credentials. -Jameson was a small movie star in his time. And when he wasn’t filming he went down in quiet to lift the spirits of homeless children and teens. He would put on small performances and then go around to each of them and comfort them if they said it was okay. He made sure by the end of his visit they were all in high spirit. But one day the filming studio caught fire. The smoke damaged his lungs so he couldn’t call out before the building collapsed. -And Chase... He had a loving wife and two kids who he cared for with his life. He vowed to himself to protect them, even though his wife turned into a bitch as the years went on. One night they were walking home from a day at the amusement park and Chase got jumped with his kids nearby. The criminal threatened to kill the kids if Chase didn’t comply. So to protect them, he did as the criminal said, handing over his wallet and watch and phone. And when the criminal was about to kill one of them anyway, instinct took over and Chase knocked the man down and knocked him out- but when he fell the gun went off

The lights on the globe are the septiclights, each one representing a person in the community

Instead of holidays, the guardians help in the background of charity livestreams and videos to give them that little extra spark.

Sean is the equivalent of the Man in the Moon

The extra fan-made egos (like Robbie, Shawn, Angus, and Bing) are still around, they just aren’t the big guardians.

If they were tho... Robbie- Guardian of Innocence, Shawn- Guardian of Voice, Angus- Guardian of... idk, Protection? Or maybe head cannons lol, Bing- Guardian of Online Connections

When too much of the community becomes afraid/ depressed, the guardian’s form changes (like in the movie) before they disappear -JBM: Becomes weaker, probably needs his glasses to see again, basically turned into a comicbook nerd -Marvin: Loses a lot of his color, magic goes away, turns into a cat? -Henrik: Hands continuously shake, gains a stutter so people can hardly understand him, becomes super paranoid/ closed off -JJ: His colors fade to black and white, it’s really hard to summon his powers, always about to cry/ wants to scream -Chase: Goes into a low state of depression, isolates himself a lot -Anti: His bravado diminishes- basically turns into an edgy teen with spasms instead of actual glitches, wound on his neck closes.

Like in the movie there’s a point where Anti takes over (like right now) and everyone’s powers start to fade

To make this angsty(er) he manages to kill JJ and he disappears, along with the light of positivity in the community.

Chase blames himself for not being fast enough to save him

To turn thing around Henrik suggests a charity livestream to promote a mental health organization. So they all work together to prep

its been a long time since i cried like this from a movie.

i mean i understand from a like story telling pov this seems to be the only conclusive way to end this aera of the MCU cos like how could shit go sideways in future on earth and tony stark not being there to save the day as long as he lives one way or another, how make it believable that spiderman could face odds onyl he alone can overcome when the audience was more or less aware that ultimately somewhere out there tony stark was chilling in the back but could still send a technical update to help save the day.

but it hurts. so much. and it so unfair. for him who has been there for the last 10 years to save the day, building the avengers alongside steve, and now that he finally had the chance of a happily ever after with his little family, to have to make the ultimate sacrifice so everyone can have the final victory and peace except him.

as i said, i kinda understand why TPTB did this, but as a fan i was hoping they’d do it as they did at the end of the first avengers movie. we would have been ok with not seeing tony again on screen but knowing he’s living his best life in peace.

<Anna> *Anna raises a brow at Jo and shrugs* “It may not all be just /his/ kinks. And while he might not get on his knees..he’s very good with other parts of his body.” *Running a hand through her hair she looks at the time* “So how soon can you ahve that outfit here?”

<Anna> “I’ll tell him but what are you wanting to talk to him about?” *Anna looks curously at Jo, wondering what the other woman could want to say to Gray.“

Adio- A resurrected fossil Pokemon

Belladonna Raider- A former teacher turned fighter.

Danielle Acorah- A bored socialite who gave up bein fancy to kick some ass.

Etna Caldera- A former Silph Co inventor

Jupiter Dorje- a security officer for Silph co who left with her charge Etna... so I mean technically shes still doin the job she was hired for.

Robin Tilo- A FUCKIN DEAD GUY. ?????

Etna aint too big on the touchy touchy especially his wings... but Aerodactyl intrigue him so he lets Adio get away with shit. Jupiter is a little put out by it because shes been workin for this asshole for years and he still gets mad at her when she goes near his wings.

As I was doodlin... I tried to flesh them out a bit more.

Etna as Charizard usually do... has been trained as a fighter but he had no interest in battle as a sport and much preferred to invent things for the betterment of... people(specifically other Pokemon people rather than humans but also humans too if hes feelin generous)... Hes always known Silph co was shady but hed always hoped it would get better... but once it got worse he got tired of it and bounced. Hes got a target on his back now because he knows so much and also destroyed a fossil lab that was mistreating people like Adio who get resurrected and experimented on(they have no families to come looking for them).

Jupiter was hired to first protect Etna because he was a valuable asset. Shes always wanted to protect and serve and although she would have rather been a detective an more physical (or so she thought) job was better suited for her high energy. She spent most of her time just hanging out and chatting with Etna when he was busy... until one day he just kinda snapped and she was commanded to capture and destroy him. But seeing the labs she was never allowed in made her realize how fucked up the company was so she bounced with Etna and now protects him from anyone out to get him. Shes lost an eye protecting him.

Adio was resurrected fossil of Aerodactyl.  Resurrected fossil Pokies can have crazy skin colors thats why hes purple (the tint of the liquid hes in makes it look not purple in this pic IDK. Dont worry about it.) Back in the ancient times before he was a fossil he was an eccentric philosopher most other ancient people thought was crazy.

When he was resurrected he was prime for experimentation being a Shiny Aerodactyl... both of which are super rare and kind of looks like a missing link between the Zubat and Charmander lines.

Hes freed when Etna destroys the lab he was kept in and followed Etna and Jupiter. Hes a smart guy and picks up the language fairly quickly with Jupiters help even though she hates him a little for bonding so easily with Etna.

Doctor Regina a Mandibuzz who was very eager to be a biologist only to become really jaded when she found out the company she worked for was so janky... she stuck around because this is all shes trained for in her life so fuck it.

Doctor Kubao a Liepard who only really gives a fuck about getting his job done perfectly but as quickly as possible. Hes a little amoral on a small scale for  betterment on a larger scale... he’ll do fucked up experiments on  creatures to find cures for debilitating diseases and sleep easy at night. He dont give a fuck.

Doctor Roussel a Shiinotic whos got a crazy level of curiosity. Her desire to learn as taken her down a pretty dark path but she dont care. She unnerves her colleagues but shes just too damn good at her job no one would ever think to fire her. Kubao and Regina are the only ones who will work with her because they just dont give that much of a fuck.

Belladonna was a teacher and lost her job because... reasons. Being part Poison type she kinda gets some flack for being a ‘bad‘ type like Dark Pokies. She became a fighter because shes got bills to pay and shes good at it (something about a sick spouse I havent thought too much about oh well?). Shes the technical leader of the party because it was her idea and dealing with students most of her life... shes good at organizing groups of people and if that doesnt work she can just sic Jupiter on them.

I thought about making Danielle a pop star turned fighter... but I like the thought of her being a bored rich girl who decides to downgrade so she can get some proper glory by kicking ass. Although she first wanted to be a fighter on her own merits to spite her family shes swayed to join Raiders party... because shes got a thing for girls with a little beef on them and Jupiter and Raider are super hot. Being an Alakazam is kind of a drag for her because she really wants to be on the front lines but shes happy to show off her crazy special abilities and guard her team (and be saved by Jupiter and Raider if she gets cornered.)

Shes not really trained, shes young (the youngest of the team), and tends to be more bark than bite... but shes fun and playful and enjoys the thrill of battle and will go as far as shes needed so shes earned the respect of her team. Even if she is a goofball.

And although she kind of comes off as a dumb blonde she is an Alakazam and her intellect is good for strat.

...I didnt think much about Robin yet.... other than his human self died an unpopular nerd and isnt like most Ghosts who crave the memories of his past... hes havin fun in the now baby. He doesnt got time for the past. Maybe hes attracted by the high energy Psychic powers of Danielle.... or something IDK yet. He kinda has a FerrisBueller energy to him which means hes kind of a careless asshole... IDK.
