Speak Now Part 2 (Eddie Munson AU)
It took me a bit but I think I'm happy with this. I may come back to it and change a bit but I'm proud of it so far :)
Enjoy 🩷
Read Part 1 here
Word Count: 1.4k
***
Maybe...
The courtyard was damp as if it had been raining, the long flowers scraped wet marks across your legs. Why did you come? You didn’t feel 100% well this morning, you could've called in sick to work. You didn't have to give in to the urge to go and see what was going on next door, you could've stayed at work and organised the cutlery. Every possible thing you could've done to stop this feeling was reeling through your mind, but your heart felt empty. Eddie hadn’t been yours for years. You hadn’t spoken in that time since your mums wedding but the realisation that there would be no hope in the future was tearing you apart.
***
“Show me the dress.” Your front door opened and your mom’s voice shouted through the hallway. “I need to see what you bought.”
Her face lit up at the sight of it. She hasn't even seen you in it yet. She held it up in front of her admiring it again. The tag poked out and your step dad, Derek, took a look.
His face dropped. “Y/N, that is more than we agreed.”
“How much was it?” your mom turned the dress to see the tag, the material rustling loudly. “80$! You got it on sale right?”
“No but...”
“Sweetie, its gorgeous, and I'm sure it's gorgeous on you but we just can't afford that much. Where did you even get that kind of money?”
“I used the money you gave me and...Eddie lent me the rest.”
“Your boyfriend bought this for you?” Derek spat and it made your blood boil.
“He’s not my boyfriend!”
Your mom put her hand on Derek’s shoulder to get his attention. “He’s a friend, they’ve been friends for years. “
“No guy is buying dresses like that for his friends.”
He was wrong. But you didn’t argue because this wasn’t about you.
“That was nice of him, sweetie. But the dress will have to go back.”
***
“Y/N” a voice shouted behind you, but you didn’t stop. Where you were going you didn’t know, just away from this. This wedding, this church, the hope you had that one day Eddie would turn up at your apartment.
You stopped suddenly, a hand around a wrist pulling you back. “Y/N, please stop a minute.”
***
“I've not talked to you all day.” Eddie came from behind you, circling the bench you were sitting on. It was quiet outside. You just needed a couple of minutes to yourself, but you weren’t mad he was interrupting the quiet.
“I know, its been hectic.”
You hadn’t expected the day to go any different. Weddings were chaotic and being your mom’s only bridesmaid put extra strain on you to help her.
“You didn’t wear the dress.”
You looked down at the new dress toy had on. “Yeah, my mom didn't like it.” You lied. It had gone back, as your mom had said.
“Too bad. It looked great. And I know you liked it.” Eddie shrugged.
You loved it. It was much nicer than the dress your mom chose in the end. You didn’t hate it but it stuck to you when you moved and you couldn’t wait to get it off.
“Ill give you your money back when I see you next. Derek thinks we're dating, which I know is weird because were obviously –“
Eddie laughed so loudly and abruptly it scared you. “Can you imagine? That’s crazy.”
“Crazy?”
“I’ve never heard of anything so funny in my whole life.”
You didn’t think it was funny. You’d hoped when he heard even her step dad thought they were dating even after all this time apart that Eddie might open his eyes, but obviously you’d read the whole situation wrong. This was embarrassing.
He continued to laugh.
“Eddie stop.”
Your tone caused him to stop and the paleness that had covered your face caused him to worry.
“Are you ok? You don’t look very well.”
“I’m fine.”
“We can get out of here if you’re unwell.”
“Its my mums wedding.”
“Yeah, but I’m sure she wouldn’t mind if you’re sick.” He rubbed his hand down your back and you felt cold. You didn’t stay friends with him all these years to date him, but it hurt that he laughed so loudly and so long at the mere notion of dating you.
“I said I’m fine.”
He backed away. His face nearly as pale as yours. You both left that conversation there.
That summer you didn’t see Eddie anymore. You weren’t ignoring him as such you just were busy. You had stuff to do and so did he. Maybe he got the message a little too loud and clear, you thought.
***
“What are you doing here?”
“I work next door, I saw Becky, she told me to stay...I shouldn’t have, I know I wasn’t invited , I’m sorry, i ju-“
Eddie wrapped his arms around you, smashing your face into his chest. You synced your breath to his and, for a few seconds you felt the safety you used to find in him. Until he spoke.
“Tell me I’m doing the right thing.”
You pushed yourself away from him. “What?”
He took a deep breath. “Tell me I should marry Meg.”
“Ed-“
“Tell me its a good idea, tell me she’s the one for me and I’ll be happy.”
“Eddie, I don’t know you as a couple. We haven’t spoke in years.”
“I don’t know anyone who knows me better. If you tell me I should do this then I will.”
“I only know rumours...”
He laughed. He knew. Obviously he knew. Everyone knew.
“Why are you marrying her?”
“It was next, I suppose. We dated for a while and you know Meg, she gets what she wants.”
“And what she wants is you and her dentist?”
Eddie turned his face upwards, laughing at the sky.
“The dentist as well? I thought it was just a bartender.”
It was sad to see your friend like this. Thinking that he should settle for a woman who seemingly had no respect or care for him whatsoever.
“You deserve better.” you whisper.
“You deserved better.”
“You don’t have to do this you know.”
“No, I need to apologise.” For what, you thought. You hadn’t spoken in years and that was mostly your fault. He couldn’t still be thinking about that.
“No, I mean-“
Eddie cut you off with the beginning of one of his speeches. “You were at college. You were smart and doing things and I couldn’t even finish high school. I just thought, why would you ever want to date someone like-“
You raised your voice and put your hand on his mouth to stop him talking anymore. “I meant, you don’t have to marry Meg.” Your hand made its way back to your side and Eddie didn’t open his mouth to say anymore. “Please don’t.”
***
Eddie threw his bag in the back of the van and jogged round to the drivers side.
“Out.” He demanded.
“Why can’t I drive this time?” you pouted.
He shook his head. “My van, my rules.” You reluctantly slid out of he seat, your feet crunching on the path beside him.
“So does that mean if I get a van, then its my rules?”
A smirked creeped onto Eddie’s face as he leaned slowly towards you, but you sharply darted away and ran around to the passenger side. Arm outstretched, pointing at him, you shouted “If I can’t drive, you can't have kisses.” Childish, but funny, he thought.
Eddie sat in the drivers seat heavily and quickly adjust his pocket, lest you see the small box he had inside. It was risky keeping the ring in his pocket but he knew you would've already gone through the bags a million times before leaving, and then at least he knew exactly where it was.
“Are the others meeting us there?”
He stuttered a bit, “Er- yeah. I think they’re starting out a bit later.” Maybe he lied, maybe they were already there and setting up things for him.
You clipped your seatbelt and smiled over at him. The kind of big smile he loved. “You’ll have to put up with me on your on for a bit longer then.”
He would. Hopefully forever if you said yes. He knew he’d got it right this time.
***
Hopefully you enjoyed it. Feedback and comments are very welcome 🩷🩷

"Kiss me, little girl." He growls into your mouth when you come closer and clench metal bars while standing on your toes. "Now."
You do exactly as he tells you, your hand caressing his long dark hair tenderly as you kiss your orc, his huge tongue roaming inside your little mouth and making you mewl: your knees are trembling every time Bucky kisses you like that, taking all you can give him. Shit, he's so good at that. You love dirty orc kisses with tongue so much your pussy soaks your undergarments.
"I love you, little girl." He exhales into your mouth, and your face grows hot: every time he confesses to you, you feel your infatuation with an imprisoned orc growing.
You want to say you love him too, but you're a human princess; you can't possibly let yourself fall for a dirty, barbaric orc who you've been talking to for months, eager to learn more about his kind. Fuck, do you love him that badly? Yes, you do. You let him take your virginity and fill your womb with his seed the last time you came to see him.
"Let me pleasure you." He whispers as his hands roam your body through the metal bars.
Licking your lips, you put your skirts up impatiently and turn back to him, letting him see your silky undergarments he torns apart like some beast, unable to appreciate anything but the feeling of your warm skin beneath his fingers.
You moan when he fingers you gently, spreading your slick folds and getting on his knees to lick your sweet little cunt. He hums in your pussy, and the vibration makes you moan, spreading your legs wider for him as prepares you for his thick, long cock - you haven't seen any naked men, of course, but you know perfectly no human would be as big as him, that huge scary monster you have on a leash.
When Bucky pushes his cock inside you, his arms on you belly, pushing your back into the metal bars, you moan like a slut for him, enjoying the heat of his body and letting him corrupt you, paint your insides with his seed again and again until you collapse on the floor, and he keeps fucking you as you stand on all four like a bitch in heat.
You love your orc so, so much. You're kissing him; you let him cum buckets in you vulnerable pussy, knowing well he might knock you up, make you bear his orclings - you, a proud human princess he mates with like an animal, leaving his marks on your neck and breasts until you're forced to wear clothes covering most of your body.
But it's alright. You know Bucky loves you, truly loves you unlike all those suitors your father had chosen for you, whispering sweet lies into your ears to make you fall for them. No, Bucky has always been honest, and with every day you passed down there in the prison, his affection for your grew, you could feel it.
So what if he is an orc? Inside the castle walls, he is your only true friend - and now your lover.
"Princess," he growls in your ear as he empties himself into your womb, filling you up with his hot, sticky seed - he cums so much his sperm drips out of your cunt, leaking down your thighs as you tremble, orgasming again.
For a couple of minutes you just sit leaning over the metal bars, Bucky holding you close and whispering something sweet and filthy in your ear. You feel warm, enjoying the heat of his beefy body and his kisses as he leaves more marks on your neck but never bites you, watching so that his tusks don't cut your sensitive skin. You think how much you want this moment to last longer. You have never ever felt as desired and loved as you do now - with him, your prisoner, the one they call a beast, a disgusting creature, the one they detest and fear.
But you aren't scared; you are content Bucky is here, with you. It's true you've been feeding him and trying to make his imprisonment less humiliating - you forbid the guards to torment him; you brought him a pillow and a blanket so he wouldn't have to sleep on the cold stones, and once a week a laundress comes to collect his clothes and gives him a set of new ones. You've been good to him, and he's been good to you in return, answering whatever question you had about him and the ones of his kind, his culture, the place where he grew up. He also told about other places he's seen while travelling the world, places you will never see yourself, locked away in a castle you were forbidden to leave until you'd be married to some prince. The orc has been kind to you, you think, breathing heavily as you are coming down from your high.
"Let's escape together." He whispers into your ear, and you abruptly turn your head to face him sitting behind the bars. "Let's leave this kingdom for good. I can bring you to the places I've told you about."
You chuckle at him, lowering your gaze to his chest. You wish you could. You wish you'd be a woman from his tribe, having strength and determination and freedom of will, but you're a princess to a human kingdom. Besides, will he treat you the same once he leaves his cell? You aren't sure.
"I can't." You say simply, and Bucky growls behind you, scraping your shoulder with his tusks.
"Why not? You've been mating with me for the second time. I'm not disgusting to you, am I?" He's getting heated up, his voice sounding angry and rougher than usual: was Bucky mad at you because you refused him? He couldn't possibly think you'd let him out of his prison cell. You've already risked so much just being with him for so long.
"You've never been digusting to me." You mutter and take his large rough palm into your hands.
Before the orc protests, clearly wanting to leave immediately, you press a kiss to his knuckles, and he gets quiet. You spend a minute or two like that before you talk again, not looking him into the eyes.
"We won't make it past this prison, Bucky. They'll hang you if you try to escape." As he tries to say something in return, you put your finger close to his mouth, making him silent again. "Besides, what if all this was a lie? What if you never loved me as much I think you do? You'll take me hostage to make my people let you go, and then you'll get rid of me once you're free."
Now he looks very angry, even mad, but you're still not scared for some silly reason. Your hand is at his mouth, and you laugh a little, tears glimming in the corners of your eyes.
"If you won't love me outside of this cell, then let it all stay like this." Your whisper is barely audible, but Bucky catches your words, and something changes in his gaze as he suddenly softens, kissing your fingers like a lover would. You bit down on your lip as you watch him, thinking whether he can really understand.
You spent a few more minutes like this, not moving despite getting cold on a stone floor of the prison before Bucky rises to his feet, and you miss the warmth of his body immediately. You don't look at him, deep in your thoughts, but when you start fixing your elaborate dress you hear a sound of the heavy metal door unlocking and see your orc leaving his cell freely, a long black key in his huge hands.
For a couple of seconds you're unable to move, gasping as you see him advancing on you. How did he get the key? Was he waiting for the right moment to leave, taking you with him to buy his freedom back? Oh yes, yes he was, that son of a bitch! Frankly, you can't bring yourself to hate him even after this, so you simply wipe the tears away and try to get up, knowing he'll drag you with him, nevertheless. Didn't you know it would end like this? Did you think he really loved you like heroes in your books loved their sweethearts? He was an orc. He simply wanted to break free from the prison your people put him in.
Your legs tremble as you stand, unstable, and Bucky gently takes you in his arms, giving you a peck on the lips so carefully as if he's human, and you wander whether he takes pity on you. You can't even force yourself to scream, alarming the guards to save you from your kidnapper. Why is he tender? You're in his hands now; he doesn't have to pretend anymore.
When you cry, Bucky kisses your tears away, holding you like a bride, and moves somewhere forward, but he doesn't go up the stairs where other cells are. Instead, he moves down the corridor where torches on the walls aren't lit up. Not knowing where he takes you, you tremble in his arms, finally getting frightened.
"Don't be scared, little girl." Bucky hums softly, holding you closer to his chest and leaving a few kisses on the top of your head. "I won't leave you alone here."
"Won't you?" You whine like a child, refusing to keep your eyes open in the dark. "Will you sell me once you're out of here?"
You hear Bucky's irritated growl, the one escaping him when you interrupt him too many times when he's telling you a story.
"I won't, little girl. I don’t know what humans of your kingdom do to their beloved, but an orc would never sell their mate."

¨Hello...¨ you were instantly greeted by the tingling doorbells that let the owner know whenever a client entered the establishment.
Your eyes traveled to the half-moon bar where the slim and tall woman leaned casually, cigarette adorning her elegant fingers. Her eyebrows raised as she took in your figure, double-checking if you were not someone else.
¨Oh! Y/N-chan, is that you?¨
¨Shakky!¨ she made her way out of the bar to hug you ¨It´s so good to see you! You haven´t changed at all!¨
Her kind chuckle made you feel like a kid again, and you couldn´t stop yourself from tearing with the nostalgic feeling.
¨Thanks, Baby. Now you,¨ she put her hands on your shoulders and opened a distance, eyes examining you like a mother hawk ¨you look tired. Eight years in war made you no good.¨
You nodded and laughed ¨I guess we can put it that way.¨
¨Come, treat is on the house.¨
Clapping your hands, you followed the lady towards the bar. ¨So, where´s Rayleigh-san?¨
¨He just left, but it shouldn´t take long. He´ll be happy to see you, Y/N-chan.¨
The circumstances that connect you to Shakky and Rayleigh go way back to decades ago when your parents were still alive. By that time, all you knew was that they were friends, people you could trust. You were not allowed to ask more questions about their jobs, and you couldn´t find a suitable answer with the information you had.
They were always on the road, visiting only once in a while. They would bring incredible gifts from various countries and discuss ¨adult matters¨ with your parents while Crocodile helped you with homework.
Whenever you brought up your curiosities to your brother, he would say that they talked about the war, and you were too young to hear such things. Crocodile was also not allowed in the room, but he´d always peer into the conversation through the ventilation ducts.
If he´s saying, it must be true.
Since your dad was a Lieutenant Colonel, there was always the possibility of his unit being requested to offer back up or engage actively. You never minded it, though. He had already been sent to a lot of dangerous missions, and he came back every single time. He was strong and invincible. He would always return to his family.
Well, that was true until the day you found your mother in the kitchen, breaking in tears, holding a smudged letter in her hands, together with your father´s dog tag.
You stared at her and your brother, blinking in the hope of seeing what was wrong. The woman at the kitchen table did not look like your mother. She had no sparkle in her eyes or pride in her chest.
On the contrary, thick and dark tears fell from her eyes, blurred from the makeup that always accentuated her piercing gaze. Her lips were not curved in the tender smile she used to carry. Instead, she bit her lower lip so hard that you could almost see blood staining her pink lipstick.
¨Dad´s not coming home.¨ was all Crocodile said.
That was not the time when things got completely off track, but it was a significant change in your family's life. The government offered a military pension and a country flag for the services provided by your father. However, you had to be transferred to the Commercial District, where your mother worked as an archivist at the Ohara Institute of Historical Research.
¨Y/N?¨ you heard a male voice call, making you turn.
Your eyes shifted between the two male figures standing at the door. ¨Rayleigh-san!¨ you shouted like a kid seeing Santa Claus at the shopping mall ¨Smoker!?¨ this one came out more like a question.
¨You have grown, little one!¨ he patted your head like old times. ¨Maybe my white hair makes sense. I´ve aged!¨ he laughed cheerfully, and Smoker tilted his head.
¨Finer than wine!¨ you giggled, then turned to the other white-haired man, cheeks blushing ¨This is, uhm... I swear I´m not following you.¨
¨Oh, you two know each other?¨ Shakky asked, adding two more old-fashioned glasses on the counter.
¨We´re neighbors!¨
¨That´s great! Come, we have a lot to talk! Today is on the house!¨ Rayleigh shouted similar words as his wife. You wondered if that was the synchronization of personalities or if the alcohol he had prior was impairing his judgment.
Shakky decided to close for the day, wanting to spend as much time as possible in your company. The clock seemed to have stopped while you were drinking, eating snacks, and catching up on years of conversation.
It was funny how sometimes it felt like a ping pong game between you and Rayleigh. Every so often, the conversation would turn into matches of him serving shots of military-wise improper questions and you backhanding with ¨That´s classified information, Rayleigh-san.¨.
Did he have a poor memory or all those years of scotch and cigars in your father´s office taught him nothing? Either way, you were having too good of a time at that table to worry about his faulty memory.
¨Are you sure you´re neighbors?¨ Shakky asked with a playful grin ¨You seem to know nothing about each other.¨
¨I would say that´s a pretty sharp point.¨ you answered in the same lighted tone.
¨Tight schedules, I´d say.¨ Smoker added, shifting on the couch.
¨But it looks like you´re free today. How about dinner? Four of us, our house, like old times Y/N.¨ Rayleigh seemed too keen on this, and you wondered if he was trying to set you up on a date.
¨Well, as much as I would love that, I´ve got plans for tonight.¨
¨Let me guess,¨ Rayleigh created a tension ¨classified information?¨
You laughed loudly at his stupid joke. It was a predictable Ray-san ice breaker, but you couldn't help yourself. This man was a blissful delight.
¨Much to your content, tonight´s plan I´ll be able to spill.¨ you teased him ¨I´m having dinner with Crocodile tonight!¨
What happened after you pronounced those words would have gone unnoticed by someone inattentive. It felt like a slight change in the air, like those quiet moments before a bomb exploded, when the clock stopped ticking.
You didn´t have the chance to question before Shakky took the wheel.
¨That´s great, Y/N!¨ her elegant hands embraced yours, affectionate and caring ¨Did you see how much he´s changed?¨
¨Uhm, actually,¨ you blinked, focusing back on the conversation ¨it´s the first I meet him in... eight years.¨
The tightness you felt in your chest almost made you tear, and the woman saw it. Her eyes carried a hint of compassion... or pity.
¨You miss him a great deal, right, Baby?¨
¨Yeah...¨ you shrugged ¨he was out of town when I arrived, so I only got the chance now. But how´s he doing? Did he change a lot?¨
¨Oh, baby, it´s been a while since we met. He´s a busy man, you know.¨
Your brows raised, then furrowed, and you had a perplexed smile hanging on your lips. You would not have believed those words if they hadn´t come directly from them.
¨Oh, wha- well, I´ll¨ a nervous laugh left your mouth ¨I´ll drag him by the hair, then! Busy man, bullshit! He used to bug mom and dad all the time, asking why you guys couldn´t live with us!¨
¨Don´t stress yourself over that, Y/N.¨ Rayleigh said with his gentle smile.  ¨He runs a lot of businesses, I´m sure he would drop by more if he could.¨
Shakky nodded¨And, it´s your first time in the Light District, right? Was that the only district you haven´t lived in yet?¨
¨That and the Noble District, obviously.¨ you rolled your eyes.
¨You lived in all other districts?¨ Smoker asked after a silent moment in the conversation.
¨Yeah, long story and not that interesting. You´d be bored, trust me.¨
¨It´s rather difficult to find someone who lived in more than two districts, so I´d like to hear that.¨
¨Alright, but don´t say I didn´t warn you.¨
You peeked at your wristwatch, running some basic math in your head and deciding that it was time to go if you didn´t want to be late for dinner. Your lips twisted in a pout, and your expression dropped a little for having to leave this fantastic moment.
Surprisingly enough, leaving them was not as difficult as you imagined. Maybe because they reminded you that you could visit them anytime now, or because you did not want to act like a crybaby on Smoker´s car.
He said it was also about time for him to leave and offered you a ride back home. You would not have to take the subway and would get the chance to know him better.
 A win-win situation.
The first minutes were a bit silent, but after you asked him if he should be driving since he had quite a lot to drink, he responded with an awkward stuttering that was rather charming. The conversation that followed was smooth as you realized he was way easier to talk to than you imagined.
Smoker was respectful, always making sure that it was ok for you to talk about your past while sharing some things about his life as well. Inside of that car, he almost seemed like a different person. His brows were not furrowed ad his voice sounded relaxed.
The ride ended too fast for your liking, and you saw yourself waving goodbye when deep down you wanted to ask him to stay for a coffee. Unfortunately, you couldn´t, maybe some other day. Now you had to make yourself presentable to meet your other half, your brother.
                                                            ...
The Light District was nothing like you had seen before. The entrance was marked by a gigantic golden arch, which carried an equally shining bell.
Tall palm trees swayed in the cool breeze, tinged with orange by the sunset. Luxurious establishments, whose signs began to be lit, occupied both sides of the clear sidewalk.
From a distance, you could see the tip of the Ferris wheel of the Sora park. It did not spin due to the recess, but the lights remained on. The roller coaster that had been the cause of the accident was surrounded by tall metal poles, being repaired for the reopening of the place.
The driver Crocodile sent to pick you up lowered the window so you could enjoy the view to the fullest. Your hair started to fly in the wind, and a delicious smell of butter invaded your nose. The restaurants had already begun to heat up the pots to receive their customers.
The Light District was projected to offer convenience to the ones who were willing to pay the price. Therefore, all that was best was located in Eldorado Avenue, the main passage that extended for kilometers like a luxurious and soft red carpet.
¨We are approaching the hotel, miss Y/N. Sir Crocodile awaits for you.¨
¨Uh...¨ you murmured, amazed by the view.
You squinted when something reflected in your eyes, catching your attention, and a gasp got stuck in your throat when you spotted the famous Hotel Verde.
Well, it was impossible not to notice it.
First of all, it did not look like a hotel. It resembled more a small town. Even taller palm trees guided the way towards the entrance, both sides occupied by ponds and tropical plants. The building stood tall like a lighthouse and at the top rested an enormous golden statue of the reptile that represented its owner.
You did not wait for Daz, the man your brother chose to escort you, to get out when the car stopped. You put yourself out as soon as the limo parked in front of the main stairway. After so many years without putting on a heel, maybe you would accept a hand to go up the stairs.
Your hands smoothed the dark green silk dress that dragged on a short tail, courtesy of Crocodile, along with shoes and jewelry. You looked like millions of dollars, and you felt like millions of dollars.
When the valet took the car somewhere else, Daz put himself beside you, offering you his arm. Your heart pounded like the Ox Bell at every step, and you breathed through your mouth, trying to keep your cool.
You saw various types of people coming in and out of the hotel, all of them embellished with jewels and shiny tackles like Christmas trees. Each and every one exalted wealth and power, with their nonchalant glares and pointed noses. Your gut twisted, remembering Shakky and Rayleigh´s words, wishing Crocodile hadn´t turned into someone like them.
The long stairway was divided in the middle by a golden rail, separating who went up from who went down. That might have been the reason why the man coming down your way caught your attention. Or perhaps it was the weight of his gaze, hidden by the reddish specs. His blonde hair and skin seemed like gold, the pink suit looked orange-ish due to the sunset, and his wide grin made you quiver.
He walked with two men by his side, freeing the way for him. At some point, no one dared to come close to the stairs. It was only the five of you.
¨Daz!¨ the man, who seemed more familiar now, exclaimed ¨I wonder who´s the person that would make you leave your boss´back.¨
He approached you, hungry gaze brimming on his tongue. He was tall and seemed even more as he closed the distance.
¨Not even the luxury dolls get to be escorted.¨ he gently took your hand and kissed your knuckles with delicacy.
You weren´t convinced by his gesture. If anything, you felt bothered to see him disrespecting the house´s rules, as if that disrespected you directly. ¨Tell me, dear, what is your name?¨
¨If you wish to know something from someone, it is more appropriate to introduce yourself first.¨ your voice came out indifferent and a vein popped on his forehead before breaking into laughter.
Fufufu I can´t say you are wrong!¨ he leaned back, large hand on his stomach. ¨I´m Donquixote Doflamingo. It surprised me that you couldn't put that together. Now tell me, doll, what do they call you?¨
You sighed and looked around, spotting a figure at the top of the stairs that lifted your mood and gave you all the strength and confidence you needed to end the conversation. A smile grew on your lips as you turned to Doflamingo, eyeing him with nothing but the will to leave.
¨They call me Lieutenant-Colonel Y/N L/N, Division Surgeon of the Army. Or just LT Colonel L/N if you prefer.¨ you offered him a respectful nod before turning your attention to the man who waited for you with a smile on his face. ¨Now, if you excuse me, Mr. Donquixote.¨

It felt odd. Exciting and nerve-wracking at once.
You tried to go about your day as usual. Occupying your overthinking mind with last bits of unpacking and tidying your room.
The idea seemed strange to your parents at first, that a friend of yours would come by for a visit the day after you arrived back at home. Which, after a month away, to them was equal to knocking on your door as soon as you closed it behind yourself.
It was the first time you had to have that type of conversation with your parents, naturally, it felt awkward. But when you told them the truth, they were respectful.
The hand of the clock on your bedroom’s wall, right above your desk, was getting dangerously close to 1.
You changed your clothes and put your hair up, just to sit behind your desk, having nothing else to do. That’s when the clock really started racing. It was a few minutes to 1 PM when your mum called from downstairs.
It was like nothing else you’ve felt before. Like meeting someone you know so well, and yet a completely new person.
Of course, you knew Fred from school. Who didn’t, at least from the rumours? And you had been one of the people that were on speaking terms with him, sharing a few classes, some mutual friends.
Fred never seemed like the type of guy that would be into you. You didn’t hold any significant feelings towards him back then, to be bothered by it, it was just a fact. You enjoyed interactions with him, nonetheless. Maybe subconsciously, enjoyed the rare attention received from him. And maybe that was the reason you had agreed to give him your address at the end of last term, instead of telling him to sod off.
Since then, you were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a different side of him. To fall in love with him.
And how much has he changed. Not only physically, having his hair cut short and growing yet another few centimetres. The biggest change happened inside.
It was better than he could’ve ever imagined. When he felt all those things while still at school, he couldn’t have expected what would come out of it. Nothing he’s ever experienced was quite like this.
At the end of last term when he realised that - caught up in everything that was happening - he hasn’t made any progress with you, he came up with the idea of writing letters throughout the summer on the spot, running to catch up to you in one of the courtyards. Best he hoped for was some banter, maybe getting to know you a little better. Mostly, just making sure you didn’t grow apart throughout those long, two months – or even worse, start dating somebody else - so that he could properly take action as soon as September rolled around. He couldn’t know he’d fall in completely. Or that you’d fall too. And that he’d be welcomed in by your mum at that very moment.
You waited at the top of the stairs. The bannister you held onto could’ve been the only thing keeping you from collapsing once he appeared at the bottom and looked into your eyes. With that damn smile.
You didn’t know what that moment would look like before it happened. In your head, you wanted to hug Fred, hold him, kiss him. You were in love with him - you wanted all that. But you didn’t know if you could, meeting him for the first time. Would you still want that with a person you hadn’t actually developed any physical closeness with?
But once more, his words came useful, as you realised you had worried unnecessarily.
‘Stop overthinking and enjoy the ride, sweetheart.’ – he advised you a while ago.
So when he ran up the stairs your arms outstretched themselves on their own accord, waiting.
“Hi,” you giggled while he wrapped his arms around your waist, picking you up in a tight hug. His emotions exhibited themselves in a spin he gave you. Pressing your face to the crook of his neck, you recognised the scent you knew from his letters before he put you back down.
“Hi,” he replied, finally, pulling away from the hug a bit to look at you once more. His hands still rested on your waist and as he looked into your eyes and both of you thought the same thing. It was the perfect opportunity for a kiss.
Fred swallowed, running his eyes over your face, taking it in.
“Good to finally see you,” he said, standing straight, and you chuckled, letting him know the feeling was mutual.
Seeing Fred Weasley in your room, your personal space, felt odd as well. Once again, the thought of being lucky enough to call yourself his girlfriend (even though the two of you haven’t specified your relationship just yet) appeared in your mind. But he called you that.
And there he was, standing in the middle of your bedroom, looking around. Looking even more handsome than you remembered. You wanted to learn Fred, learn him physically.
He turned back to you and you locked eyes as he caught you with that shy, yet giddy smile on your face. The smile you got back in return made the butterflies in your stomach go crazy. With newfound confidence you stepped closer to him and took his hand, intertwining your fingers together. It fit perfectly, like magic.
“See, that’s the wardrobe door I told you about in the letter, that gave me this battle scar,” you told him, pointing at the piece of furniture first, then the faint mark left on the skin of your arm.
Fred didn’t hesitate to take your arm in his hand and brush his thumb over the scar. Apparently, Fred was very touchy. It was exhilarating, but nice. You could get used to that.
“Seems like a lifetime ago, doesn’t it?” he chuckled. You agreed with him, thinking back to those first few letters you’d exchanged at the beginning of summer. “Oh, that reminds me!” you perked up suddenly. “Make yourself comfortable here, ok? I’ll be just a moment, I have something prepared…” you explained, receiving a nod from Fred, before dashing out the door.
This gave Fred a chance to have a proper look around. He wasn’t invading your privacy since everything he was looking at was out in the open, but it would’ve felt weird, just analysing it in your presence.
Taking a seat by your desk, he could take out much from the objects lying around there. And in the corner of the desktop, sat a pretty box with its lid slightly open. He didn’t want to look, but through the crack, he saw something paper.
“The letters…” he whispered to himself and without further thought slid the box over to himself. There they were, his letters – each and every one of them, placed neatly and chronologically. No one has ever cherished anything received from Fred as much.
“See you helped yourself,” you quipped, having walked into the room with a plate of muffins in your hand. “What if I hid something else in that box? Something real embarrassing?” you asked, walking over to him after placing the tray down on your tea table.
“It wasn’t closed properly, I could see it was letters,” he explained, turning to you. “Unless you’re exchanging letters with some other boys too?” he joked. “You think only boys could be your competition, Weasley?” you swung back, placing your arm at the back of his shoulders with a mischievous smile. “But no, not like with you, I don’t,” you reassured him in the end.
Another moment of meaningful eye contact passed, before Fred changed the topic, noticing the baked goodies. You could watch him stuffing his face for hours.
Still enjoying a muffin, you walked up to one of your cupboards, to retrieve a box with your surprise.
“I’d like to remind you that I’m still very much a beginner with clay so it may be simple, but one day I might make something nicer. If you’ll still want it, of course,” you said, handing him the box. You sat back down on the sofa next to him, with an anxious smile.
He opened the box, revealing a mug, painted with his nickname on the side. His face lit up in a smile. True, it may have been simple, but he could also see the effort you had put into it, and that was enough to melt his heart.
“Do you like it?” you asked in a small voice. “I love it,” he replied simply, still moved by the gesture. He gave you a one-armed hug, still holding the mug in one of his hands – already thinking of using it every day, for as long as it could serve him.
“Ok, let’s not forget,” he began, composing himself, “I promised a surprise for you too.” “You did,” you replied, leaning back against the couch and flashing him a smile.
You watched as he reached into his pocket, pulling out a tiny firework.
“Freddie,” you pleaded, in disbelief of how typical of him that was. “It’s indoor safe, I promise!” he laughed, “I haven’t blown myself up yet, have I?” he asked, looking at you expectantly with his gleaming eyes.
So after a deep sigh, you nodded, allowing him to proceed.
He pulled out his wand and after throwing the firework into the air, lit it up. It was beautiful, golden, pink and white, mesmerising shapes changing constantly. In the end, a sentence appeared, lighting up the whole room, along with your whole world.
Will you be my girlfriend?
“I told you already in the letters how in love with you I am… you said you feel the same. I wanted to make it official,” he said, looking at you now, as the fireworks slowly faded away.
“Yes. Of course,” you answered, positive your heart has melted at the gesture. Your hands reached out a bit awkwardly, unknowing if you wanted to hold his hands or hug him.
Fred leaned close to you and placing his hands on your waist, kissed you.
Was true love really magic’s work, or was Fred just a really good kisser? You couldn’t know that, but you also couldn’t care less as you wrapped your arms around the back of his neck. You just never wanted to kiss anyone else, and kiss only him, for as long as you both shall live.
He was delicate and loving, one of his hands moved to the side of your face, caressing your cheek with his thumb as he kept placing soft pecks on your lips, unable to pull himself away.
“You’re intoxicating,” he muttered against your lips before kissing you on the forehead, then sitting back straight. “I could tell you the same thing,” you replied, dumbfounded.
“I got something else, too…” Fred admitted sheepishly, diving into his pocket once more to retrieve a small box. He opened it in front of you, revealing a bracelet – a dark, simple, aesthetical string with a small shape attached to it. A tiny, silver envelope.
“It’s beautiful, Freddie,” you whispered, brushing your finger over the metal. “I’ve got one too, so if you want-” he began, taking another bracelet out of his pocket, without a box this time, but you didn’t wait for him to finish.
You took your bracelet out of the box and gestured for him to help you tie it, then took his, and tied it around his wrist. You were admiring the view, when Fred interrupted you.
“Want to see something cool?” he asked you with a smirk, then took your bracelet hand in his and you watched the pendant emit a soft, magical glow.
“You really are a romantic, Fred Weasley…” you stated.
“You made me one.”

You’re probably wondering what happened next, dear reader? Very well, I can’t just leave you hanging. After all, it would be a dishonour to cut off this beautiful story of Y/N and Fred’s love like that. And what a beautiful love it was.
That September was the first time the both of them were that happy to get back to school. It allowed them to see each other every day, after all, even if Y/N took quite a few more classes than Fred. They quickly realised what they had was more than just a school romance. They used their last year at Hogwarts to its fullest, before Fred took off with his twin brother and Y/N graduated, according to plan, in June.
The current state of the wizarding world meant Y/N had to put her career plans on hold, but she was happy to help Fred and George in their shop instead.
As Fred had Y/N’s promise, to help him with raising a puppy – they adopted one together, one that they both fell in love with at first sight. The dog later proved to be a valid, contributing member of the Weasleys’ Wizarding Wheezes.
Their relationship flourished, they complimented each other perfectly, supported each other during the war when they both needed it most.
After Voldemort had been defeated and Y/N got her dream job, she and Fred decided to rent a nice, comfortable flat in London. Just like they planned, they used a lot of their time off from work to travel together – taking their dog with them whenever they could. It was during one of their trips, when Fred proposed to Y/N, with a crazy, elaborate scheme.
They got married in a simple, yet beautiful ceremony, surrounded by loved ones. They had three children – two girls and a boy.
When Fred’s business started doing really well, they moved to a ridiculously charming old house, but in England, so that he could focus on his family more. How did they spend their days? I’m sure you can imagine. And when they retired, their lives slowed down, just a tiny bit.
But Fred Weasley remained a romantic, even as they were both old and grey. And the act of exchanging letters remained special for them, throughout all of their happily ever after.
The end.

kink confession #3
i really love puppy play. i see it as a progression of d/s play, where the sub partner gets to really get out of their head, and just get totally spoiled and taken care of by their dom. and if anyone deserves to be petted and loved on and called a good boy, it's jonny.
i meant this to be a quick, smutty thing, but the boys wouldn't cooperate and get down to the porn, so it's almost 4k words, but i had fun writing it!
“You can’t even keep a houseplant alive, Kaner. There is absolutely no way anyone would ever entrust you with a dog,” Jonny said, for what felt like the twentieth time that night. Sharpy never should have let Pat dog-sit Shooter a few weeks ago, because ever since then, Pat seemed to bring up getting a dog at least once a day. “Plus, we’re on the road, like, all the time. It would be cruel to the dog,” Jonny continued. He had no idea why Pat was so insistent on this.
“I’d be awesome at it, though!” Pat exclaimed, sulking just a little. “I practically raised all three of my sisters, and they turned out great.”
“Raised them in between playing on five different peewee teams, Peeks?” Sharpy interjected into the conversation. “And you’re barely a year older than Erica, come on!”
“Whatever,” Pat grumbled. “I’d be the best dog dad ever. Shooter’s probably begging to come back and live with me. I’d give him steak, and belly rubs, and we’d go on long walks, and-”
“Are you describing a dog or your dating profile, man?” Sharpy interrupted, laughing, and Patrick’s cheeks turned a light pink, almost unnoticeable in the dim light of the bar, but Jonny was watching him pretty closely, like he always did.
“Fuck off, Sharpy. Jesus, don’t make it weird,” Patrick replied, rolling his eyes. Thankfully, the conversation moved on after that, when the rookies came back with a round of shots for the table. Jonny lost track of the number of rounds after that, but the rest of the night passed in a blur, and he and Pat were leaning on each other for balance by the time they were waiting for a cab to get back to their hotel.
When they were finally back in their room, clothes thrown haphazardly on the floor (Jonny) or folded neatly on the desk chair (Patrick), Patrick brought it up again. “Seriously, Jonny, I’d be so good at it,” he said plaintively. Jonny could imagine the puppy dog eyes he was making, so appropriate for this situation, and forced himself to stay quiet. Patrick sounded almost forlorn, and Jonny really hated when he sounded like that, all of his instincts telling him to make Pat feel better, but it was still a bad idea.
“Maybe I could, like, prove how good I’d be!” Pat said into the silence. “Come over next weekend, man, and I’ll show you. You’ll change your mind, I swear.” At that point, Jonny was drunk and tired enough that he said yes, mostly just to get Pat to go to sleep. Looking back, he really should have asked some important questions, mainly, what the fuck did Patrick mean by “showing him,” but his eyes were dragging closed, and he passed out as soon as he mumbled his agreement.
*
Jonny walked into Pat’s apartment, unsure what to expect. Pat hadn’t been very forthcoming on the phone. He’d actually sounded a little nervous, voice higher than usual, words coming out quickly, telling Jonny to just get over to his apartment already. Jonny walked in slowly, peering around the corner, ready to be ambushed by an entire pack of dogs, or maybe a powerpoint presentation entitled ‘Why Patrick Kane Deserves a Dog” complete with ClipArt pictures and comic sans font. He certainly wouldn’t put it past Pat to try something that ridiculous.
Pat was just sitting on the couch in his living room, though, TV on but not really watching it. His head jerked in Jonny’s direction as he entered, and Pat sat up straighter.
“Hey, man,” he said, still with that undercurrent of nerves that Jonny heard over the phone.
“Ok, I’m here,” Jonny replied, skipping over a normal greeting entirely. “Let’s get this over with so we can watch some tape tonight.”
“Yea, yea,” Pat said, rolling his eyes. He leaned forward and picked up a small package that Jonny hadn’t noticed, sitting on the coffee table. “Here,” he said, offering the box to Jonny. “This is for you. For today.”
“Ok…” Jon answered, taking the box in his hands. It was light, but it rattled a little when he shook it. He opened it gingerly, lifting the top off. There was tissue paper inside, and when he pulled it out, he saw a red and black leather dog collar. There was a tag on it, a simple circle that was cool to the touch as he fingered it gently, turning it over. The back just read “88” with no other markings.
“Uhhh, what is this, Pat?” Jonny asked, stroking his fingers over the leather. It was buttery soft in his hand, silver buckle polished to a high shine.
“It’s for you!” Patrick repeated, voice somewhat manic. “You’re going to wear it, and pretend to be a dog, so I can take care of you and show you how good I am at it!” Jonny just stared at him, dumfounded. He could feel his jaw hanging open, but didn’t have the mental energy to close it, too busy repeating Pat’s words in his head. He seriously expected Jonny to…
“You seriously expect me to put on a fucking dog collar and what, crawl around on the ground? So you can show me that you should get a real dog? That will be left alone half the season and then dragged back and forth to Buffalo? Are you insane?” Jonny half-yelled the last sentence, feeling hysterical.
“I mean, when you put it that way…” Pat’s eyes dropped guiltily, and he was blushing now. “I wasn’t really thinking of it like that. I just… I think I’d be good at this, and it sucks that everyone thinks I can’t be trusted.” He looked up at Jonny through his lashes, and with his curls in desperate need of a haircut, he looked heartbreakingly young and sad. Jonny could feel his resolve breaking.
He guessed they had kind of been jerks to Pat in the bar, making fun of him. Pat had gotten a lot more responsible in the last year, and he’d probably do fine with a dog, and maybe they shouldn’t have teased him so much. Pat was still looking at him imploringly, eyes wide and hopeful. Fine, he’d do this for a few minutes, assuage his guilt, and then they’d never speak of it again.
“Jesus, fine,” he huffed out. “But you mention a single word of this to anyone and I’m going to stab you with a skate blade, Happy Gilmore style,” Jonny threatened, narrowing his eyes at Pat, whose blinding grin made the upcoming embarrassment worthwhile.
“Yea, of course, Jonny. It’ll be our thing, I promise,” he said, taking the collar from Jonny’s hands. “Go put on some sweats, I think that will be more comfortable, ok?” and Jonny didn’t even bother fighting that one. The sooner they got this started, the sooner it would be over.
He came out of Pat’s guest room dressed in a pair of his own sweatpants that he’d left there at some point. They were well-worn, soft, and smelled like Pat’s detergent.
“Ok, come here so I can put this on you,” Pat said, gesturing Jonny towards him with the hand that still held the collar. Jonny walked towards him slowly, prior nerves that he’d fought down returning with a vengeance as he watched Pat unbuckle the collar in preparation. He took a deep breath, stopping just in front of Patrick, who tugged his shoulder until he turned around. “Crouch down a little so I can reach, dick,” Pat said, pushing on his shoulder.
“Pretty sure you shouldn’t call your, uh, I mean, a dog a dick, Pat. That’s kinda mean,” Jonny complained.
“Hey as soon as it’s all the way on, I’m going to treat you like gold, Jonny,” Pat said. Jon felt the collar tightening against the tensed muscles in his neck. “Relax,” Pat said, voice dropping low, one hand running from Jon’s neck to his shoulder, soothing. Jonny shivered, but some of the stiffness in him relaxed, and Pat slid the buckle into place. “How’s that feel?” he asked, slipping a finger underneath to test for any give.
Jonny had to clear his throat, which was suddenly dry. “Uhh, it’s good,” he got out. “I mean, it’s fine. Not too tight,” he mumbled.
“Perfect,” Pat said, and the word warmed something inside him.
“So what do we do now?” Jon asked, wondering just what Pat had planned for their play date.
“Uh-uh, Jonny. Dogs don’t talk,” Pat answered with a smile. “You just do what I say and let me spoil you.” And oh. Jonny had never had someone say anything like that to him before. He could feel the blossom of heat in his cheeks and knew it was spreading down his neck and chest, as well. He desperately hoped that Pat just thought he was embarrassed. That’s all it was, he told himself firmly, willing himself to get it together. He just wasn’t used to hearing things like that directed at himself. Hell, he’d never talked to any girls like that either, like they were something precious to take care of.
Jon nodded jerkily, determined to play along and not make it weird. Or, weirder than it already was, he guessed.
“Ok, first things first- every dog deserves some time snuggling on the couch, come on,” Pat said, starting to walk into the living room. Jonny hesitated, unsure for a moment if Pat expected him to like, crawl on all fours behind him. That wouldn’t be very good for his knees, he thought. Or his dignity.
Patrick seemed to get what he was thinking and laughed as he answered “nah, man, you can walk like normal. Unless you like, really want to get method on me, then you can go ahead and crawl.” Jon shook his head hard, following behind Pat into the living room.
Pat sat down on the couch, then gestured next to him. Jon sat, somewhat stiffly, but Pat immediately pushed him down. “No, come on, that’s not snuggling. Lie down,” he directed, and Jon allowed himself to be pushed over. His head ended up in Pat’s lap, which he didn’t think he’d done since he was drunk with TJ at UND. He’d definitely never cuddled with his head in a guy’s lap while sober, he knew that much. Maybe he should have pregamed with some shots before he came over today.
Too late now, though. “Yea, that’s good,” Pat was saying, as he stroked his hand through Jonny’s hair. “Good boy.” Jonny suppressed another shiver. He’d always been a sucker for having his hair played with, and it figured that Pat had discovered the weakness right away. “I know you don’t like my reality TV, so I’m putting on a nature show for you. They’re supposed to be very soothing for dogs, ok?” Pat said, and Jonny could get used to that, to Pat catering to what he wanted. Jon was pretty sure Pat didn’t actually want a response, what with the whole “dogs don’t talk” thing he had insisted on, so instead, he let himself relax a little bit more into Pat’s lap.
The show actually was soothing. Jonny was only half-listening to the English-accented narrator talk about different kinds of jellyfish, letting his mind wander as Pat continued to stroke his hair. Sometimes he’d grasp at it and tug, and every time, Jonny had to bite back a moan. Soon, Pat’s hand had wandered down from his hair and was stroking long, firm pats (there was no better word for it) down his neck and shoulder. Jonny shuddered into one of them, and he could hear the smile in Pat’s voice as he said “yea, feels good, doesn’t it?” hand never stopping.
Jonny was glad that he wasn’t expected to answer, not sure he’d have been able to get any words out anyway. He let out a deep sigh, instead, and Pat crooned at him “good boy. Good, good boy.”
Jonny lost track of time after that, mind and body both relaxed. He jerked in surprise when Pat moved to get up. “Shh, it’s ok. Good boy,” Pat soothed. “I’m just going to get dinner going. I promised you a steak, didn’t I?”
Jon nodded, letting himself sink back into the cushions of the couch. It wasn’t nearly as comfortable without Pat there underneath him, but it gave him a chance to get himself back under control. It was hitting him harder than he expected, Patrick touching him gently and saying soft, sweet things to him. He shook his head slightly, trying to clear his mind from the fog it had fallen into.
He could hear Pat puttering in the kitchen, and for once didn’t feel any guilt about not helping. He listened as Pat heated the stovetop, then heard the sizzle of steak hitting the frying pan. Usually, he’d be bugging Pat about not cooking with oil, and preparing healthy side dishes, keeping up his side of the banter that was expected of him. Tonight, though, Pat didn’t expect that from him. Didn’t want it from him, either. Just wanted him to lie still on the couch and wait, and Jon could do that.
He was almost dozing when Patrick walked back in. Jon perked up at the smell of food, and Pat sounded fond when he said “dinner’s here, pup.” Jon started at that, but before he could get himself good and worked up, Pat was sitting next to him, two large steaks on a plate on the coffee table. Jonny sat up, looking at the food expectantly, but Pat shook his head.
“Pups don’t eat on the couch,” he said, and he placed a cushion that Jon had never seen before on the floor. Pat pushed at his shoulder once, and, fine, the steak looked and smelled delicious, so Jon could suffer the indignity of eating on the floor. He settled down on the cushion, which was soft and velvety beneath him, and reached towards the plate. It was only then that he realized there was only one set of utensils.
Pat leaned forward, cutting a piece of steak from one of the filets. He blew on it for a moment, then gently took it off the fork and offered it to Jonny between his fingers. Jonny took just a moment to consider the pink center and perfect sear, smell even more tantalizing as Patrick brought it to his mouth. He swallowed hard, then leaned forward, taking the bite from Pat’s fingers. Pat smiled at that, broad and bright, as he cut the next piece off for himself.
Pat had turned the TV down, now just a quiet white noise in the background as they made their way through dinner. Usually, as two guys in their twenties with a physically demanding job, they inhaled their food, finishing in a matter of minutes. Pat was taking his time tonight, though, cutting off pieces of steak that were the perfect size for Jon, letting Jon take them delicately from his fingers.
Without the ability to talk, or even use his hands, Jon’s other senses felt heightened, even as his mind felt more relaxed. He could feel himself settling deeper onto the cushion, shifting his weight more comfortably on the velvet, which was soft on the tops of his exposed feet. His arms were heavy as they hung by his side, hands folded in his lap, unnecessary now, because Pat was taking care of him. The smell of the steak hung in the air, enticing and reminiscent of dozens of other nights he’d spent with Pat.
He closed his eyes as Pat fed him another bite, and fuck if this wasn’t the best steak he could remember having, seasoning sharp and tangy, steak melting in his mouth. He could feel some of the juice running down Pat’s hand, and he lapped it at without thinking, not wanting to miss out on any of the taste. He heard Pat’s quiet gasp as he licked over his fingers, tongue curling in between them, but Pat didn’t pull back, didn’t say anything else, just took his clean hand and stroked Jonny’s cheek.
“Yea, it’s good, huh, isn’t it, pup?” he asked, voice hushed. “Made it just for you,” and Jon licked harder at that, strangely comforted by having something in his mouth. He heard himself whine when Pat gently pulled his fingers out of Jonny’s mouth, but couldn’t spare the thought to be embarrassed before Pat’s hand was back with another piece. Instead of holding it out for Jonny between his fingers, though, he had it in the palm of his hand. Jonny bent his head closer, no hesitation in him as he picked up the piece with his teeth and tongue, and then Pat’s hand was still there, dripping with juice and salt and seasoning, and he set in to lick it clean.
He enjoyed the sensation of the rough calluses on Pat’s palm, built up from years of stickhandling, and kept dragging his tongue over them long after Pat’s hand was free from any traces of the steak. Pat kept a hand in his hair, smoothing through it, scratching at Jonny’s scalp in a way that felt blissful. He kept at it even after Jonny stopped licking, as Jonny knelt there on the cushion at his feet. They stayed like that until Jonny’s head grew heavy, neck wobbly with relaxation, and he rested it on Pat’s leg.
“Ok, pup,” Pat said eventually. “Let’s get you some water, yea?” Jonny didn’t attempt to answer, just picked his head up and watched as Pat rose from the couch. He realized Pat was walking out towards the kitchen, and suddenly didn’t want to be alone. Without thinking about it, he put his hands on the hardwood floor and started crawling out of the room after Pat.
Pat only took a few steps out of the room before he stopped, turning around and looking down at Jonny. Jonny couldn’t quite tell what expression was on Pat’s face, but he didn’t think he’d ever seen him smile so softly, not even when talking to his sisters.
“You’re being so good for me, aren’t you, pup?” he said gently, and Jonny shivered. “Yea, you just want to be with your person, huh,” Pat continued, bending down and working a finger under Jonny’s collar. He tugged it gently, making Jonny gasp at the reminder of what was around his neck, and then let go. He scrubbed his hand through Jonny’s hair once more before turning back around and continuing towards the kitchen. Jonny kept crawling behind him, then settled himself in the entryway while Pat poured two glasses of water.
“Come on, boy,” he said, walking back to the couch, and Jonny followed without pause.
When they got back to the living room, Pat grabbed the cushion that he’d laid out for Jonny for dinner, dragging it closer to the couch. “It’ll be easier for you to drink like this, pup,” he explained, tugging Jonny towards him and holding one of the glasses out to his lips. He tipped it up slowly, letting Jonny drink at his own pace, and Jon could feel himself blushing again. The intimacy of the moment, being at Pat’s feet, letting Pat help him drink, hit him hard, and he realized that he hadn’t even attempted to take the glass in his hands, even before Pat said anything. He’d just assumed that Pat would take care of that for him, just like Pat had been taking care of everything else tonight. He was overwhelmed, suddenly, with affection for Pat, and he dropped his head, nuzzling into Pat’s thigh.
He heard Pat’s short, sweet laugh above him, and he almost pulled back, but Pat brought one big hand down, laying it on the back of his neck, keeping his head there.
“Yea, I love you too, pup,” he murmured, and Jon could hear the warmth in his voice. Jon smiled to himself, groaning quietly as Pat’s hand started up with the long strokes through his hair again, and he let his head rest on Pat’s thigh, body melting into Pat’s strong legs at the feeling of the hand in his hair.
He let himself be lulled by the soothing strokes, mind drifting, eyes closed. He wasn’t sure how much time had passed, but when he opened his eyes again, the room was darker, and Pat had slouched down a little further on the couch. He still had his hand in Jonny’s hair, though, occasionally running it down his neck, rubbing in small circles. It felt amazing, and Jonny leaned forward, trying to get Pat’s attention to give him another drink of water.
When he leaned in, though, he rubbed up against Pat’s leg, and fuck that felt good. He hadn’t even realized he was hard until his cock made contact with Pat’s leg, but now that he was aware of it, he couldn’t stop himself from jerking his hips again. A whine slipped out of his lips as his hips thrust forward a third time, seeking out the hard planes of Pat’s leg, grinding his cock there. He could feel the precome slicking down his dick, easing the way for him to keep rubbing up against Pat, even through his soft sweatpants. He whined again at the feel of it, dirty, but so good.
He heard Pat gasp a sharp breath above him, heard him groan out a “fuuuck J-, I mean, pup.” Jonny could feel the blush blooming in his cheeks, but he didn’t care, not when the simple pressure of Pat’s leg against the hot length of him felt like this. “Yea thats good, pup,” Pat said, half a moan, and he dropped his hand lower, between Jonny’s shoulder blades, pushing gently on his back, encouraging him to ride Pat’s leg even harder. “Want you to feel good, baby. Make yourself feel good for me,” and the approval in Pat’s voice lit Jonny up from the inside, warm glow of it driving out the last of his embarrassment.
He buried his face in Pat’s thigh, not using his hands at all, just letting his hips work mindlessly, rutting up against Pat’s leg. This wasn’t going to take long, not with Pat’s strong hand firm on his back and Pat’s soft praise in his ear. He could feel himself losing the rhythm, could hear his breath coming in harsh pants, and he didn’t fight it, not like he usually did, struggling to last, to make it good for whatever girl he was with. Now, he just let the orgasm race through him, coming hard and groaning with it.
He shuddered, feeling utterly spent in the best way, body loose and limp. Pat dragged his hand up from Jonny’s back, tangling it in his hair for a moment before reaching down for Jonny’s collar. He snuck his fingers under it, and Jonny let himself drift again, pressed up against Pat, Pat’s fingers tight on his collar.

My congratulations with 200 followers! Can I ask scenario about Akashi's girlfriend suddenly finds out about his second identity, but she isn't scared and she accepts him?
A/N: So, with this one, I wasn’t entirely sure which setting I should put it in. I was between her finding out when he first ‘transformed’ and discovering it when he reverted back to his Teiko self. In the end, I decided to pick something in between and something entirely different, so I hope you’ll like what I came up with. ( ꈍДꈍ )

A slight tint of red - Akashi x reader
Tumblr media
You’ve been looking at these heterochromatic eyes for as long as you can remember—those cold and lonely pair of eyes that belonged to your beloved boyfriend, Akashi.
The captain of Japan’s most popular and most feared team was unrivaled in many aspects, and that trait made him a highly respected individual amongst his peers. Unfortunately, that respect also bore negative feelings such as fear, hatred, and jealousy that were the main reasons people decided to avoid his presence.
But you were different. Those rumors didn’t face you in any way; if anything, they motivated you to actually find out more about the man who earned himself countless titles.
The moment you two first looked into each other’s eyes, shivers went down your spine, and if your memory didn’t betray you, then he probably felt the same way. Back then, you felt like you couldn’t move for a slight moment, but thanks to your friends and his teammates, who brought you back to reality, the two of you snapped out of it quicker than you might have wanted.
It took you both quite a while to actually start a conversation since he wasn’t usually the type to initiate such things. At the same time, you, on the other hand, were either too shy or unsure whether you interpreted the short connection you guys had correctly or not. But when you finally succeeded, neither of you had to struggle and find a suiting topic; the conversation just started developing on its own. And after a few months during which you had several interactions with the red-haired young man, it became evident that you had fallen in love with him, so now came the question whether you should confess to him or not, when and how...
Much to your surprise, you had the support of many of his classmates and basketball team members. They repeatedly encouraged you, saying just how good the two of you got along and how his mood had improved when he was with you. Needless to say, that boosted your confidence to a certain degree and gave you the needed courage to begin your quest.
Unfortunately for you, your attempts didn’t differ much from how you normally treated and talked to him. Still, you were determined to continue giving it your best until he either realizes it or until you found the best time to confess.
But your plans weren’t including the most important chess piece in this story, namely Akashi.
While you were forging one plan after the other, you were completely unaware of how the red-haired young man had seen past your actions and was already aware of the feelings you harbored for him. He knew, but he chose to remain silent and wait until you felt prepared enough to tell him.
And then one day, you finally stood before him with your cheeks slightly flushed and your eyes wandering but never focusing on the person before you. You were an adorable sight for him to behold, but he didn’t want to uselessly torture you any further, so he decided to initiate the dialogue.
“Is everything alright (Y/N)..?”
The gentleness in his voice caught you off guard, but it also helped to get the ball rolling, and before you knew, your confession was already in full swing. Firstly, you began reassuring him that everything was alright, that he needn’t worry about you, and that the reason you called him was a positive one. After a short break, you then proceeded to reveal all the feelings you’ve been harboring for him...
When you were done, he remained silent for a short while and gave you his answer...an answer that surprised you.
“Then today marks our first day as an official couple.”
——
The first few months went by pretty well. Your boyfriend had even made sure to divide his time between his training and you equally. He even made a weekly weekend date customary for the two of you, additionally making sure that the place you went to or the activity you did never repeated itself.
But what is a relationship between two people if only one person does the entire work?
That’s what you asked him one day. Akashi was surprised, of course, but he quickly understood why you’d say that, so he decided to tone down a bit and allow you to plan some of the dates as well.
A good and loyal man whom you could call your boyfriend, who made sure you were treated like a queen and whose yellow and red eyes were always only focused on you and you alone.
Could your life get more perfect?
Or at least that’s what outsiders and bystanders would think...
You see, no matter how much Akashi tried to smile at you, there was always something bugging you about it.
At first, you decided to ignore it and thought that it was your imagination and that all he needed was a little time until he could tell you what haunted his mind, but the longer you waited, the gloomier his expression grew, and it worried you. Not only were you not used to him appearing that distanced at times, but what hurt you the most was the fact that he wasn’t even intending on sharing anything with you.
Instead of doubting his trust in you, a more direct approach was in order, so you decided to just ask him yourself; all you needed was an opportunity, and what worked better than everyone’s beloved test period?
Next to your weekly dates and your monthly horseback riding expeditions, the two of you also organized a small tutoring group where you or some of Rakuzan’s basketball members would seek Akashi’s help in topics they didn’t understand. Luckily they were not always up for studying more than they had to, so the two of you got at least some privacy from time to time. So when the exam period started, you prayed to whichever deity you believed in, to give the two of you some time together.
The moment your finger pushed the doorbell on your boyfriend’s extravagant front door, you expected to be greeted by one of his butlers, but instead were greeted by a warm embrace from your beloved.
“Hope you won’t mind that today is going to be just the two of us.”
“Oh no, not at all!”
You were overjoyed to hear this but tried to appear as calm as you could while Akashi brought you to the living room, where some papers were already splayed out on a table.
After you had taken a seat and placed the snacks you had brought with you next to the tray with some of your favorite beverages, the two of you discussed what subjects and problems you’ll be going through today. Since you truly needed some help with a few subjects, your plan to talk to him had to be postponed for a short while.
When the two of you were about to move on to the next pile of tasks, you looked at your boyfriend’s profile and began: “Hey Akashi...it’s not school-related, but I have a small question for you. Is that ok?”
You saw his red eye shift its attention to you as he nodded his head slightly, a small smile adorning his lips.
Here goes nothing...
“So, I’ve noticed that there are times during which you tend to look quite sad and troubled. At first, I thought that whatever it was, you just needed some time to process it yourself until you could tell me. Still, that plan backfired quite a bit, since your expression has been getting worse,” you stilled to let him process your line of thoughts first, and then you resumed, “I just hope that you know how much I care for you, and if I have given you the impression that I don’t, then let me apologize. Akashi, I truly care for you, more than you might think...and more than I sometimes show, so I would be really happy if you could at least entrust me with some of the thoughts that have occupied your mind.”
You took another break to look at the man next to you and immediately noticed how much his body had tensed up. Whatever you chose to say next was about to either provoke a change in your relationship or let it circle around the same iceberg as before. So you mustered all the courage within you, took his hand, squeezing it, and said: “I love you Akashi, but if we don’t talk this out now, I’m not sure if we’ll have another chance like this...”
Silence...
Whatever you just said had quite an impact on your boyfriend, more than you ever expected. His entire face went pale, and his eyes seemed unable to focus on you or your face anymore. You were worried that this topic might’ve been too big of a landmine for your fresh relationship, but there was no way for you to return anymore, so you had no choice but to go through with it.
Akashi sighed and stood up, his back turned to you. He looked so lonely that you couldn’t help but follow his lead and stand a few meters behind him, leaving your boyfriend enough free space but also maintaining a certain closeness, just in case he needed an embrace or anything of that sort.
Another short period of silence followed during which the red-haired young man looked out of his living room’s window and apparently tried to calm his nerves down for the upcoming talk.
“(Y/N), there’s something I’ve been...keeping from you for quite a while.”
I knew it...
It was no secret that you expected that to be the case, but you couldn’t help but be curious as to what that secret was, so in order to tame your curiosity and stop yourself from showering him with countless questions, you bit your lower lip. You already had a few hunches as to what that secret might or might not be, but you remained silent and waited for him to finally tell you what’s been on his mind for so long...
His lips were moving, his eyes were focused on one of the many random trees in his courtyard, his hands were trembling, and all you could do was stand there and listen...listen to the most unexpected confession.
“A...second personality, you say?”
Akashi nods, and even though he turns around, his eyes never meet yours; they just blankly stare at something behind you. Usually, you would’ve followed his view, but you already knew what those beautiful eyes of his were fixated on.
His childhood photos...
Even if his confession of having a second personality sounded quite far-fetched at first, now that the both of you were silent, you had some time to actually think it over, and much to your surprise, it made sense...to a certain degree, at least. His eye’s sudden change in color and the abrupt disappearance of his angelic smile from his middle school’s days were drastic developments in a brief span of time, judging by the intervals in which the photos were taken. When you first noticed this peculiarity, you thought that either something on a biological level or something bad in general had happened, so you had made up your mind to drop it for the time being. Who would’ve thought that you’d be getting an answer to that as well today?
“I-I’m sorry (Y/N)...if my story sounds too unbelievable or too unrealistic for you, then please feel free to label it as some kind of fairytale I came up with to put your mind at ease.“
You squinted your eyes, trying to comprehend just what kind of nonsense your boyfriend was coming up with, and before you could even think of an answer, your mouth was already open, throwing the first things that came to your mind at him.
“What if I choose to believe you, though? What would you do then Akashi? Would you push me away like all the other times, or would you keep on pretending that everything’s alright? Huh? Tell me...“
The young man was clearly taken aback by your direct questions, but he recovered quickly and turned his back to you, mumbling something about you not being able to grasp the true meaning behind his words and how you couldn’t handle his true self.
He must’ve thought that you weren’t going to hear his self-talk, but you did...and what you heard made you extremely mad. Pure rage clouded your judgment, and the next thing you knew was how Akashi’s back was pressed against the wall and how your hands were gripping his shirt’s collar.
“How dare you say something like that?! Do you really think that I’m that insensible and shallow?”
You continuously threw your feelings and thoughts at him, not noticing just how worked up you truly were. At one point, though, Akashi just couldn’t take it anymore and wrapped his arms around your trembling body, pulling it towards his chest where you could continue to cry. Now that you were enveloped in that oh so familiar warmth, you just couldn’t keep on screaming at him, so you just closed your eyes, held onto him, and tried stopping your tears from ruining his already crumpled shirt. While you were doing that, he placed his hand on top of your head and stroked it gently, calming you down even further.
“(Y/N)...I’m truly sorry, I never intended to doubt you; it’s just tha-“
“Don’t apologize Akashi...I understand”
He wanted to tell you just how scared he was of your reaction because you were one of the few people he trusted enough to tell this to, and all the others who saw, experienced, and even knew of his change ended up being either weirded out or too scared.
But you were different, and even if he knew that, he just couldn’t risk losing the light of his life, and that’s why he decided to keep it a secret from you, up until now. When he saw how mad you got for his sake, how sad it made you the moment you found out just how heavy this has weighed on his mind, it made him understand that even if you were scared somewhere deep down, you’d still look for a way to make him feel better and try your best to understand him.
That realization was all he needed as he gently planted a featherlight kiss on the top of your head and raised your chin so that you could look him directly into the eyes.
At that moment, you could’ve sworn that his iconic yellow eye had a slight tint of red in it.
I love you...

Cause for Concern: an OC one-shot
Alternate Title: Hurt/Comfort Characters: Rikki, Red Fox, Jupiter Jim, Clem, Rikki's mom (mentioned) Tags: ANGST, Anxiety, Distress, Poor familial relationships, Abuse, Minor Injuries/bruising/scabs, Hurt/Comfort, Blanket forts, Lots of comforting, Additional Tags to be added... Summary: Rikki gets a letter in the mail and Red has a right to worry. Word Count: ~1,799 -x- A/N: I know what you're thinking. "Goosey! This isn't any of the updates you promised us >:C what's up with this OC baloney?" -- Ok, yes, but listen; I wrote this mainly to practice writing Red Fox and Jupiter Jim since I'll be (ahem) writing them very soon for a certain somethin'-somethin' (Also? I need to update Let's Make a Deal and this was good practice to get back into writing for Rikki). I won't be uploading this to my Ao3. Read Cause for Concern under the read more:
It started with a letter—a small black envelope that came in with the rest of the mail: the bills, the take-out menus, and the weekly Stock and Shop circulars.
It was addressed to Rikki, which was odd to Red since Rikki never received mail; at least nothing intimate.
"Hey, Rikki! You got mail today!" Red said as soon as the mongoose returned from her shift at Clem's. She presented Rikki with the black envelope, her tail swishing excitedly.
"That's for me?" Rikki raised a brow.
They settled down at the kitchen table. Red sat across from Rikki, who examined the mysterious piece of mail. There was no return address, and the envelope was perfumed with something that made Rikki's nose wrinkle. She turned the envelope over, and that was when she saw it; the ivory wax seal depicting the image of fang—her family's crest.
Red's grin shrank as Rikki tensed, the color draining from her face, "Well? Who's it from, Rik?"
"It's… ah…," Rather than answering Red, Rikki reached for their salt shaker and unscrewed the metal cap. She poured a perfect circle onto the wooden surface, then dropped the envelope into its center.
Suddenly, it burst into a column of purple flames.
"Oh, my stars!" Red gasped. Her red banded-tail morphed into a giant hand and reached into the cabinet under the sink for the fire extinguisher.
"Don't worry, it'll put itself out," stated Rikki, unbothered by the phenomena. "It's a hex message."
"A 'hex message?'" Red furrowed her brow as the flames flickered before them, contained within the circle of salt. "I've heard of chain letters cursing folks, but this is just plain rude! Who would do such a thing?!"
"My mom."
"Oh," Red's tail twitched. It was a touchy subject they never discussed, mainly because Rikki avoided any conversation regarding family relations—especially if they were about her mother.
When the purple flames disappeared—embers and all—a scorch mark was left behind; Rikki buffed it out with the sleeve of her hoodie. Now that the letter was 'cleansed,' she sliced open the side of the envelope with her claw and emptied a folded piece of parchment into her hand.
The apartment fell silent as Rikki read the letter. Red knew better than to pry, even if the suspense kept her at the edge of her seat.
"Mom wants me to come home—for a visit, not to stay," Rikki grimaced, "She wants to 'talk.'"
"When?" Red asked while Rikki calmly tore the letter into tiny squares.
"A-sap," Rikki brushed the bits of paper into her palm and stuffed them inside the pouch on her hoodie. She went over to the tiny coat closet by the front door and retrieved an old backpack that would suffice as an overnight bag.
"W-wait, you're leaving now?" Red pushed back her chair. Her stomach twisted, and a feeling of dread penetrated her bones. She had no idea where the influx of anxiety came from, but it was enough to get her fur to stand on end.
Rikki shrugged, "I can't keep the lady waiting."
"What about work?"
"I'll tell Clem somethin' came up. Besides, that's what PTOs are for..."
"Is everything alright?" Red's ears flattened, perturbed. "You're not in trouble, are you?" Why would she think Rikki was in trouble? Maybe Rikki's mother always communicated via hex messages. Perhaps that was just how yūrei's spoke to one another; a cultural thing.
Rikki didn't answer. She quietly stuffed her toiletries into a plastic baggie, then went into her bedroom to gather a change of clothes. The silence between them only told Red that she was right to fret about her roomie's well-being.
"… It's nothing, Red," Rikki answered, slipping her headphones around the back of her neck. "Don't worry about it. I'll be fine."
Red's unconvinced by the string of reassurance; they sound a lot like empty promises, "Rikki…."
"Red, I'll be fine," Rikki crammed her chargers and electronics into the small pocket of her backpack. "I should be back sometime soon-ish. We'll order sushi and throw ourselves a little party, ok?"
"… okay," Red stepped out of Rikki's way, reluctantly letting the mongoose pass by. She escorted Rikki to the elevator down the hall and playfully elbowed her in the arm, "Call me if you need back-up, yeah?"
"Whatever floats your goat, space ace," Rikki snorted as she waited for the elevator's arrival. She slung her bulky backpack over her shoulder, "And speaking of goats, I better call Clem…."
Rikki forced a smile as the elevator doors slowly closed. Red saw past the mongoose's attempt at feigning confidence; the distant, fearful look in her eyes gave her away. Red suppressed the urge to summon the elevator and prevent Rikki from leaving.
Red told herself that it was all in her head, the idea that nothing good would come from Rikki's trip to her mother's. She knew Rikki could take care of herself.
Rikki will be back before you know it, Red thought to herself. It'll be alright. I'm sure her mother's a lovely person...
__________
Rikki didn't come home the next day. Or the following day. Or the day after that. When Red tried reaching Rikki on her cell phone, her attempts led her directly to the mongoose's inbox.
Not even Clem heard from Rikki, although he was instructed to 'use her sick days if she ran out of PTO.'
Red kept herself busy with menial chores to steel her nerves and stop her imagination from crafting worst-case scenarios. When she wasn't cleaning the apartment, the yōkai volunteered at the community theater, ran errands, and hunted for Scor-Pion with Jupiter Jim.
"Why so blue, Red?" Jupiter Jim asked during one of their stakeouts atop the eccentric actor's apartment building. "You mustn't let Scor-Pion get you down. The elusive fiend will show himself soon enough!"
"It's not that," Red sighed. "It's my roomie/friend! She's been gone for almost a week, and I've lost all forms of direct communication with her! And even if I wanted to go searching for her, I have no idea where she could be!"
"Hm, that is quite the predicament. I wouldn't be surprised if Scor-Pion is behind your friend's mysterious disappearance!"
"I doubt it…," Red peered through her binoculars and scanned the city's skyline, hoping to spy Rikki. She perked up when she felt Jupiter Jim's hand clasp onto her shoulder, "Sir?"
"Have faith in your friend," Jupiter Jim consoled. "The universe is a vast place, yet we all find our way home sooner or later. We must welcome the weary when they return, but to do so, it's crucial to keep our spirits high."
Red smiled weakly at the profound piece of wisdom, "Thank you, Sir."
The mood was ruined when Jupiter Jim mistook an old lady with a green skin complexion as Scor-Pion. Fortunately, Red's prehensile tail was strong enough to hold the space adventure back from ambushing the strange senior citizen.
If only Red used her tail to keep Rikki from leaving...
_____________
It was Wednesday night. Red had finished washing the dishes and was now standing at the kitchen counter, prepping vegetables for dinner. She was so preoccupied with peeling potatoes that she failed to notice someone unlocking the front door.
And that someone was Rikki.
"Hey, I'm back," Rikki announced as she closed the door behind her.
"Rikki!" Red exclaimed, dropping the potato peeler and spud into the sink. She ran over to Rikki and hugged her tightly, "Leaping light-years, you have no idea how worried I was! You didn't call or text, and Clem said—"
Red froze. Her eyes darted from Rikki's black eye to the bruise on her cheek. Several small knicks speckled the side of her brow. They were scabs now, but the implication that Rikki had bled was still there.
So this was the kind of relationship Rikki had with her mother: a bad one.
Rikki isn't put off by the horrified look on Red's face, "Honestly? It's not as bad as it looks. In fact, I think things went better than I expected." She tried maintaining a modest tone, but it faltered.
I knew I shouldn't have let you go, Red frowned. Hesitantly, she tried reaching up to touch the bruise on Rikki's cheek.
"I'm gonna go take a shower," Rikki said as she casually ducked away from Red's hand. "I had to take the long way back, and I'm kinda gross. Do you need the bathroom?"
"N-No, you go ahead. I'm making stew for dinner. Would you like some?"
"Naaah. I'm not that hungry…."
Red nodded, "Copy that." She watched Rikki's bushy tail drag across the floorboards on her way towards the bathroom.
The universe is a vast place, yet we all find our way home sooner or later…
"Hey, Rikki?"
"Hmm?"
"Welcome home…"
It's such a warm, simple greeting, yet it meant so much to Rikki. She got as far as the hallway before she grabbed onto the wall for support. She sank to the floor and curled in on herself, trembling.
In a split-second, Red's beside her. She held Rikki close, protecting her by wrapping her striped tail around her body. She never heard Rikki cry before; the mongoose is quiet with the occasional whimper that breaks Red's heart.
Red held her tighter, "… We can still order sushi if you want…."
Rikki sniffled, "Yeah, I-I'd like that."
"Heh heh, good! Honestly, I was getting tired of peeling all those potatoes!"
_____________________
Stacks of aluminum take-out containers are left on the kitchen table with empty plastic cups of soy sauce. They make good on their promise to throw themselves a party. So Red and Rikki dragged their mattresses out from their bedrooms and constructed a blanket fort around them.
Once their nightly bathroom rituals are completed, they pile into their fort. Red noticed a few more bruises on Rikki's forearms that were previously hidden by the mongoose's hoodie.
"Clem said he'd give me the day off tomorrow," Rikki said as she slid her phone underneath her pillow. "I told him I had a rough trip. He understands."
"Aw, that's nice of him," Red yawned as she rolled onto her side, facing Rikki. Goodness gracious, who would've thought all this worrying could be so exhausting...
"Hey, Red?"
"Yeah?"
"Thank you," apologized Rikki, her voice hoarse. She stared up at the canopy of mismatched blankets and bedsheets, "I'm sorry I didn't keep you in the loop..."
"Don't worry about it, Rik," Red scooched over towards Rikki, "I understand."
They nestled against each other, their tails entwined--another layer of comfort. Red felt obligated to ensure Rikki fell asleep and didn't stay awake to think about whatever cruelties she endured at her mother's. Only when Red was sure Rikki was fast asleep did she finally allow her eyelids to shutter.

They Are Both Scared
Hey, I finally wrote something more than 1k words! Yeay! I hope you enjoy it!
Tagging: @slaintetowhump @ashintheairlikesnow @liliability @ohmywhump @whumptywhumpdump @raigash @castielamigos-whump-side-blog @simplygrimly @whump-it @oceanthesarcasamfox @inky-whump @whumppsychology @inaridriscoll @rivertamandspike @spookyboywhump @faewhump
CW: pet whump, dehumanization, slavery, human trafficking, the BBU(box boy universe) general warnings, shock collars, electrocution, vaguely implied noncon(seriously, it's very hidden I doubt y'all can pick it up), implied whipping and caning, implied being forced inside cold water(hypothermia), starvation
Master had told Bastet about his new catsitter, two days before he actually brought him home. And Master had warned him, right there and then, that if anything like last time happens, he won't be so kind anymore. Bastet had shivered at that, the pain of the whip marks on his back worsening as if Master's threat brought them back to life. And he let out a sound from the back of his throat that resembled a cat's meow. Just how he'd been trained.
And now, two days later, he was kneeling on the rug in front of the front door, waiting for his Master to come back with this new guy. Again, just how he'd been trained. Position two, knees neatly folded, hands placed carefully on the thighs, shoulders back, head straight and eyes down.
When he heard Master open the door and come inside, he did not move, nor look up. He did not bring his eyes up to see the face of his new keeper. Not even when he started speaking, and asked Master where 'the cat' was. Not until Master walked up to him and put a hand on his head. That's when he pushed his head back into Master's touch, and his eyes landed on the man standing a couple of step away, in front of the door. The man - Javier, as he later learned - was wearing a dark red sweater over a white botton up. Like the one Master liked him to wear when they had guests. His brown eyes were behind a pair of rectangular glasses, and his dark brown hair was pushed out of his face. Nothing about him seemed intimidating. In fact, he looked even nerdy. But again, Michael - the previous catsitter - did not seem intimidating either, at first.
He watched as Master explained some things to Javier. Watched as different emotions passed through his eyes. At first confusion. Then something like disgust. And, finally, anger. Although it was subtle, and he doubt his Master even picked it up, but it was still there. Passing through Javier's eyes and lightening them like some kind of fire. And it terrified Bastet. Because anger, as far as Bastet was concerned, never meant anything good. It didn't matter if Master was angry at him, or at someone in work, or anything else. It always ended up with Bastet being in pain and crying.
He was so deep in these thoughts, that he did not understand Master and Javier leaving to other parts of the house. And only realized it when the sound of Master's suitcase being dragged through the hallway reached his ears. And Master came towards him, leaned down, and whispered in his ear. "Be careful what I've warned you, pretty one. Don't let anything like last time happens, hm?"
Master's hot breath against his ear, and the threat in his voice, made him shiver. And he meowed his whimper-like meow to show Master that he'd understood. After that, Master let out a satisfied sound, petted his hair, and stood up to leave.
"Take good care of him." Master called out as he got out of the house and closed the door behind him.
And just like that, Bastet was left alone with his keeper. Again. And it was terrifying. He remembered what happened on his first day alone with Michael. And it sent shivers down his spine.
"So, Bastet, is it true what they say? About box boys?" He had asked, and Bastet had only stared at him. Not allowed to talk. "That you will do whatever you are told?" He had come closer and closer to Bastet, and he noticed the remote control to his shock collar when it was too late, as the electricity ran through his muscles. "Oh, this was fun!" Michael had said with a grin on his face. "Well, I guess we'll find out about those rumors."
Bastet looked up to find the new keeper. To beg him somehow - nonverbal as he was right now, with his collar on - to not hurt him. But the man was nowhere to be seen. Panic washed over him as he realized he didn't know this man at all, and could not predict when, where, and how he would strike. He didn't know the games he might play.
Just as he was drowing in these thoughts, the sound of running water came from the bathroom's direction, and Bastet paled.
Not an ice bath. Please. Please not an ice bath. Please. It's already cold in the house. Please don't make me be colder. He thought as his body unconciously moved towards the fireplace. To treasure some last strands of warmth before he was left freezing for the night.
So, he curled up against the couch near the fireplace, and prayed to whatever gods might be there to keep him safe, now that his Master was gone.
But the sound of water finishes soon after he settles beside the couch. So soon. Too soon to have been the sound of the bathtub filling up. And this time Bastet frowns. What else could Javier be planning?
The door to the bathroom creaked open and Bastet heard Javier's footsteps as he moved from the bathroom towards the kitchen. But Bastet did not try assuming what would happen anymore, and decided to just calm his nerves while he can. It wasn't like he could do anything to stop it. So instead, he just focused on the warmth coming from the fireplace, and imagined that his Master was home, and that he was petting him as he curled up against his feet. Michael barely ever petted him. And when he did, it was usually after he-
Footsteps came out of the kitchen and distrupted Bastet's thoughts. And with the footsteps came a strong spicy smell of food. Bastet's stomach growled. He hadn't eaten anything since morning. And even that had been only a mouthful of bacons and a bowl of milk, and nothing more. He was starving. But he did not dare raise his eyes from behind his knees. Not yet. Not until he heard Javier say that he had made the food for him.
"I'm gonna leave it here on the TV table, ok? Come pick it up whenever you felt like it." Javier said, as he slowly put the plate down on the table, and turned to go back to the kitchen.
The food on the table was warm and still steaming a bit. The smell was spicy and familiar and intoxicating to his empty stomach. He was just about lunging for the food when the reality hit him. It was not in his cat bowl. It was in one of Master's many expensive porcelain dishes, with his even more expensive silverware on the top. It wasn't like he wasn't allowed to eat from Master's dishes. If anything Master liked to have Bastet lick them clean after some meals. But now, without his Master here, and with no permission from neither him now Javier, he definately was not supposed to eat from that.
It might have been a test, from Javier. To test him. To see if he got the hints and he was smart enough to not assume he was allowed things. Or maybe, Javier would come back and sit on the couch, put the plate on his lap, and give some scraps of food to Bastet while he ate the food himself.
So Bastet waited, for a while. Waited to see if Javier would come back. But soon enough, the sound of spoon and fork hitting the plate came from the kitchen and indicated that Javier was eating his own food there. Bastet's stomach growled a second time, and he was trying so hard to not just go to the plate and eat a few bites of the food. Because a few bites would be ok, right? Javier would not understand. Except that he would. They always did. Master once caught him eating a single strawberry from a basket full of them. Bastet was caned 20 times for that.
So instead of sitting there just a few steps away from the cursed plate and fighting the urge to eat, he got up - for he was allowed to walk on his feet unless Master ordered otherwise - and moved towards the stairs, and Master's bedroom above them. For he'd learnt long ago, that sleep helps with hunger. It might not reduce the feeling, but you will not be conscious enough to care.
When he got to Master's bedroom, he went straight towards his bed - cat bed - besides Master's king sized one, and laid down. Curling up to fit inside the not-so-big circular shape of it. But sleep proved to be difficult, and he found himself staring at the far wall of the room, thinking of nothing in particular.
Just as his eyes were starting to warm, and sleep was slowly making its way to him, he heard a voice. Javier's voice. Calling out his name from downstairs. It started as a quiet voice, muffled by the walls between them. And gained volume everytime he called out and Bastet did not answer. Could not answer. Speaking was not allowed unless Master specifically told him to. So he stayed silent as Javier's voice got louder, and closer, as he moved from room to room looking for him. And he curled up tighter on his bed, trying to make himself smaller, invisible, to stay safe from Javier's rage. Because in Bastet's world, only two things caused loud voices. Pain, and fury.
When the door to the bedroom burst open, and Javier rushed inside towards Bastet - while muttering a thank god under his breath - Bastet was practically shaking with silent sobs.
"Bast? Hey, hey are you ok?" Javier asked, and that made Bastet sob even harder, unable to stop. And suddenly, accidentally, one of his many quiet sobs turned audible. The collar was quick to pick it as a non-identified sound - for the only identified ones were cat noises - and sent a strong bolt of electricity through Bastet's small form. And he screamed. Pain filling up his senses, and making his muscles tense, and then go limp as the shock stopped. It took everything in Bastet to not crying out and earn another shock, and he forced his voice down, and let the tears do the job that the voice should have done, and soothe his pain.
Bastet wasn't quite there enough to notice that Javier was panicking beside him, and that he rushed outside, scrambling to get his phone and dial Jenna's number. He did not hear Javier talk to Jenna in impossibly rapid English, trying to figure out what to do with a terrified boxboy that had just endured a strong electric shock. And by the time Jenna managed to calm Javier down enough, and helped him know what to do, Bastet's exhausted mind had fallen into sleep.

A/N: it's got some supernatural/mythological stuff in it. I haven't written anything like this before, so it may not be your cup of tea, and it may be a heckin disaster XD

There was a harsh, red flash of light in the horizon, like a crimson strike of lightning in a dark storm as gloomy clouds began to gather overhead. Donny didn't know if he should trust his eyes anymore. He was hungry, tired, and beaten. There was a bullet hole in his chest.  But he wasn't done fighting. He'd been captured by a patrol of nazis, and was being held by them in the forest.
His eyes lingered on the sky, which looked totally normal now. But, it hadn't been the first time he saw that flash of red. It always seemed to be out of his reach, but beyond the end of the horizon. Sometimes, he reasoned it was nazis lighting fires to stay warm, but...it wasn't logical. Still, that was all he could come up with. No one else seemed to see the red light. He gave up asking if anybody else saw that. He looked around, one of his eyes was swelling up, and blood was dripping down his forehead. That was the least of his concerns. He’d be executed if he didn’t die from that bullet wound.  Still, he had hope in the basterds, and that he could pull through. At least, he still recognized where he was. They were in a part of the woods near the edge, close to a village. It wouldn't be long before the basterds came, Donny was sure of that. He didn't understand a word, but he knew they were jeering at someone (other than him, this time). He managed to look up, and saw the nazis were harrassing a passerby, probably from the town. The passerby was just trying to, well, pass by. Tall, almost bone-thing, and covered in a red, smooth cloak, pleading to be let go of in what sounded like French with an accent Donny, and frankly, anyone else there, couldn't pin point. The harrassing turned into interrogating, as one of the nazis grabbed the figure's arm. Turning, the cloak dropped down, exposing a face. Rotting strips of flesh clinging onto a grinning skull, as red eyes seemed to mock the nazis right back. The nazi that had grabbed the figure fell to his knees, shaking and screaming, as another nazi, their leader, managed to bark orders through his terror, "Töte es!" 'Kill it!' His voice was cracking, trembling seeing that the bullets did not stop the grinning, mocking bones. Donny shut his eyes, knowing it had to be a fever dream. That's all it could be. He heard a cackle. He opened his eyes, and saw that the camp fire was raging out of control, despite heavy rain drops beginning to pour. He felt the heat in his face, and he shut his eyes, collapsing from the pain and blood, listening to the shrieks of horror. The nazis' screams a lullaby to him. ***** When Donny opened his eyes, he was in the same place, but he was alone. He looked down at his chest, where he had been shot. His clothes were bloody, but there was no wound. Just a scar. The ropes around his wrists were cut, and lay just beside him, next to his bat, which had been confiscated days ago. He picked it up, his hand running slowly over the engraved names. Then he remembered. He remembered the skull... He didn't believe it, though. It had to have been delirium, from the wound! But... he couldn't figure out what happened to the nazis....or the wound itself. Still, he knew he had to get back to the basterds. He held his bat over his shoulder, and started to walk away. He took a single step, and felt a sickening, harsh crackle under his boot. Looking down, he saw fragments of a skull, accompanied by a nazi's dog tag. His eyes widened, and he turned around, realizing the campfire was still smouldering, and was surrounded by the remains of the nazis and their tags. Anyone other than a basterd would had run away in fear, but he was mostly perplexed. Maybe he was still dreaming? He just walked away, deciding not to think about it. Still, there was a sly smirk on his face... If it was a dream, it may have been his favorite one. Still, the further he walked into the woods, he couldn't help but realize just how strange things were. He knew this part of the forest like the back of his hand, and somehow, he couldn't recognize a thing. "Where the fuck am I?" "Where, indeed." He turned, and saw you. Perhaps the most beautiful person he'd seen in his life. You seemed innocent enough, though...the accent...Not quite French, or German, not even Swiss, or Italian. Not anything he'd heard so far in the war, and he'd heard a million and one accents at that point. He got closer to you, his head tilted to the side, and suddenly, his breath caught.
You were wearing a soft red cloak. Cunning eyes, seeming to dare him to follow, and a grin playing on your lips. His voice was nearly a whisper, which for Donny Donowitz, was rare. "Who are you?" You simply giggled. The notes of your laugh had the smoothness of the moonlight, and the power of a war cry. It struck him, far more than your accent had, though he needed to know, "Where are you from?" You laughed again, and it unsettled him, "What's your name? Wh...who are you with?" "That's hard to answer, boy." You grinned, as you stepped closer to him. He saw that your skin was as smooth as the cloak, appearing timeless. You seemed to be young, but the way you spoke threw him off. It wasn't just the accent, it was sheer power in your few words. And...why did you call him boy? He was sure he was older than you, you couldn't be any older than Utivich... He raised an eyebrow, "Alright, here's an easy question, how old are you?" You shrugged, as a playful smirk tugged at your lips, "If I knew, I'd tell you, boy." He threw his hands up in frustration, "Oh what? Asking people's ages is rude, that it?" You leaned against a tree, "I'd tell you my age if I knew it, boy. But time itself had no name when I first woke." He narrowed his eyes, "Ok. You're on something, aren't you?" Your lack of answers only made him ask even more.  "Where are you from?" Even that had no definitive answer. "From the soil where the first violent drop of mankind's blood fell. Under the sky that heard the first war cry." "So you wanna play games, huh?" He started walking away, but took no more than three steps before sighing and coming to a stop, "If you're gonna follow me, then at least tell me your name, kid." You laughed again, and he soon started to wonder if you had been behind what happened to the nazis. "What are you?" This time, you didn't laugh. "Your language has no name for what I am." He stared at you, seemingly confused, but not the least bit scared. "I was here when the huns first marched through those trees." "So what, 1940? You been hiding out here for three years? That it?" You shook your head, "I mean the huns. And the visigoths." Donny blinked. "Just what I needed. A crazy kid followin' me around. Fuck's sake." You giggled, and caught up to him, "You humans never change..." "What?" You smirked, and brushed his cheek. His breath caught again, as he looked into your eyes, seeing the depth of a millenia as your voice mellowed his heart, "I was here when Rome rose. I watched from that hill as it fell. I was here when the world beyond the mediterranean was nothing but a myth." "A myth?" "I hear there are seven lands now," You grinned, and he nodded slowly, "C-continents? Sure.... You...feel ok?" You grinned, taking a step forward, looking up at the trees and sky that you called home, "I was here before Napoleon marveled at this land from Corsica. When the vikings first ventured on their ships, when those darling Mark Antony and Cleopatra turned this world upside down. I was by Alexander the Great when he took the horizon. I was there when Sparta fell to ashes. I was there was when Hammurabi's code was first written. I was thousands of years old by then...anything I saw before then, your books have no memory of." "You're saying that you're....a...You're not...." You nodded, "Not human." Again, anyone else would have been terrified, but Donny was more intrigued than anything else....somehow it didn't seem right to pry. "Do you know what year it is?" "1943." Donny was more at ease, grinning himself as he remarked, "So you're not completely insane." "Well, you said 1940 was three years ago. Unless you mortals have gone and changed your dreadful number system," You sneered, and shook your head, remembering the exact moment you knew generations of students would be doomed with those infernal figures, "The year must be 1943." You smiled kindly, as you sat by the roots of an ancient tree you'd known as a sapling, "I'm old, not senile, boy." Donny was overcome with a wave of ease, and felt a need to sit. It would be rude to leave you there, after all. He sat by a tree, across from you. He looked around, still not recognizing where he was. The sun was setting, judging by the dark red tint sifting through the leaves. He leaned his head against the tree, and you sat in silence for some time. As the first distant stars began to emerge, he asked, "That was you, wasn't it?" "What was me?" "The thing that scared the nazis, and burned them." The only response he received was the sound of your laugh, and somehow, that put him at ease as his eyes began to droop with dreams.
******* When he woke, the sun was beginning to break through the leaves again, and he realized you'd covered him with your cloak. Looking at you, ethereal, like a fleeting daydream. Looking at you was like looking at an ancient statue, or an old painting of a nameless myth. He wrapped your cloak back around you, and began to walk down the forest, hoping to find his way. He'd been walking for an hour or two, and stopped to rest under a tree. Then, he heard your voice, which startled him a little. "You're lost." "... No I'm not." "Which way's north, then?" You grinned, as you emerged from the dense brush up ahead. "...." You sighed, "That way, boy." He got a little defensive. You know, back in Boston, he wasn't the type of guy that like to ask for directions. He crossed his arms, and began to mutter, "My name isn't ‘boy,’." "Well, you never told me your name," You shrugged with a sly smirk, knowing exactly how he'd retort. "You never told me yours." You nodded, "So it would seem." His frown turned into a chuckle, and cheeky grin as he started to walk along with you. You glanced at him through the side of your eye, and grinned. He was chaotic.  A man of vengeance. You knew spirits like his, long before. They were rare, and the ones enemies feared the most. You smiled, when you caught a glimpse of him. You'd long admired him from afar... When you stopped for him to drink water from a creek, you asked, "You're the one these 'huns' are scared of, aren't you?" He chuckled, "That would be me, doll." He froze for a moment, questioning why he'd called you that. He hoped you wouldn't catch on to it, and from the looks of it, you hadn't. But you knew far more than he could ever imagine, and hid a blush and grin expertly. "They say you're a golem." You smirked, "But I don't think you're made of clay..." Donny felt your cool hands running over his shoulders, and he smirked, turning around, taking you in his arms, "So you've been watching me?" You winked, "Always."
He laughed as he let you sift through his hands like sand, "So, what are you made of?" You smirked, knowing he could take it. So you showed him. Your hair was made of fire. Your eyes became the piercing color of midnight. Your grin was the incarnation of chaos. Your clothes were forged into armor, a kind that hadn't been forged in thousand years. "Y...you're a  d-demon...." You shook your head, as the fire died down to an ash, the smoke falling back into place as your (h/c) hair. The darkness in your eyes diluting into the laughing (e/c) pools that eased him. Your armor covered again by clothes of the era and your cloak. Your grin stayed your own. "I'm a trickster, with an allegiance to Themis, Tyr, Justitia...whatever you've named her this time." "Justice?" You nodded, "I'm a spirit of combat, and justice. The Greeks had a name for my sisters and I." He had composed himself by then, eased by your voice, and your promise of justice. "What did they call you?" "The Greeks called us the Hysminai..." You sighed, looking down into the creek, wondering what had become of them. You knew what humans were capable of, so you didn't linger on the thought. "But we're a long way from those empires now, aren't we, boy?"
You spotted your reflection in the water, looking into the forgotten legend, into the very face of combat. You sat by the edge, and in a moment, he followed. "I haven't seen them since..." Donny spoke softly, "Must be lonely..." You didn't want to dwell. "Living a life other than a mortal one? It gets lonely and boring...Especially when mortals are at peace." He chuckled, and looked into the water with you. "You have brothers, don't you, boy?" "Donny." You glanced at him, then smiled softly, just as the water rippled so he wouldn't see. "You have brothers, Donny. Others fighting with you." He nodded, "I don't know where they are." "I'll take you to them." "Thank you...." You looked at him, and told him your name "Y/n..." It had been nearly a thousand years since a human knew your name. You hadn't heard it uttered since then, on a battlefield covered in blood, your hand entangled around the hand of a warrior whose name was forgotten by history, but not by you, as you brought him before victory and vengeance, as he watched a red haze of light, with a grin on his face. You looked at Donny, before he could say anything, and said "You're tired, and unclean." "Hey!" You smiled, "Here, to the riverbank." He raised his eyebrow, definitely lost. There were no rivers near where the basterds were hiding out. You laughed as you walked him to the edge, "It's no wonder your enemies found you. All they had to do was follow your scent." Donny groaned, and splashed some water at you. You giggled, as your hand turned to fire, and turned the water to steam mid air. You turned your back, and waited among the trees. As Donny stepped into the river, his hand rested on his chest, over the scar. He glanced back at you, and didn't even have to ask. It had been you who saved him, he had no doubt.  When he was done washing up, he joined you by the trees, "How did you find me?" "I was never too far from you, soldier," you grinned cunningly, "I'm a spirit of combat and justice. That's what you've wanted all along, isn't it?" He grinned, his hands finding their way to your hips, "Damn right, Y/n..." It had been near a thousand years since you found a soul like his, made from the ashes of revenge, forged in a flame of honor. It had just been so long.... You kissed him. He kissed you... In a moment, his bat and your cloak were left on the ground, shortly followed by the rest of your clothes and armor. *********** Your head was resting on his bare chest, his hand laced into your hair, as his arm snaked around your shoulders. His heartbeat was like the beat of a war drum, music to your ears. You knew a mortal's life was fleeting. Especially that of a good warrior like him. Your cool hand rested over his chest, "Promise to always fight for what's in your heart." You felt him pull you in tighter to his side, as he murmured, "Always." When he woke the next morning, he followed you deeper into the forest, your hand entwined in his, "You must go back to your brothers." "I don't know where the fuck we are. I don't know where they are." You pointed deep into the forest. In the distance was a low, red haze, a dim light calling to Donny. "Follow the light, my soldier boy." He took a reluctant step forward, then looked back at you, "Will I see you again?" You laughed that laugh that echoed like a thundering war cry, and eased him like a lullaby, "You're at war, boy. Don't you remember?" His hand stroked your cheek, "I'll always remember." You smiled, and with a kiss, you sent him away. When he turned to take one last glance at you, you were gone. He followed the dim red light. Once again, it always seemed to be just out of his reach. He was beginning to stagger, tired of wandering for days without a soul to speak to, wondering how you could go on like that for an eternity. Just then, the lights vanished, and somehow, his heart shattered, thinking he was lost forever. "Y/n?" "Donny! Where the hell have you been?! God damn it!"  That accent was unmistakably southern, and unmistakably that of his lieutenant. Donny laughed in relief, "Aldo?!" Aldo emerged from the brush, followed by the rest of the basterds, with a myriad of questions.
"Where have you been?" "Krauts we been getting said they got you!" "What the hell happened out there?!" He simply grinned, knowing if he told them a word, he'd be discharged and locked in an asylum. They'd heard rumors of a nazi patrol being burned alive. "How'd you make it out of all this?!" Donny chuckled, waving his bat over his shoulder, "How do you think?" The basterds laughed, and as they carried on, Aldo said, "Got word there's a kraut patrol fuckin' 'round bout ten miles north from here. You up to it?" Donny looked north, into the horizon, spotting a low red light beginning to glow. He smirked, and spoke softly with a nod, "Always."

“.. And because I speak English sometimes they said I’m extra good.”
Tali had been proudly explaining to Tony and Ziva how impressed her teachers were with her parts in the winter concert ever since they picked her up after the dress rehearsal that morning. They were on their way back to school for the afternoon performance, and (according to her) she been given a lot to do considering she wasn’t a native speaker. Her nerves were evidently jangling between her bursts of conversation.
Tali’s winter concert was apparently a Very Big Deal, and there were songs to sing and a dance to learn and a xylophone to play and even a few lines of a speech that Tali had sworn Tony to secrecy over, refusing to let Ziva be spoiled for before the day itself.
Tali was in her final year of the French equivalent of kindergarten, and the nursery was attached to the school she would be attending from next September. The winter concert was a joint affair, with students from both areas of the school taking part. It wasn’t a Christmas celebration so much as it was a new years’ one, a way to mark the end of the year and celebrate the holidays before the children went home to their families.
While the concert itself wasn't Christmas-themed (it was Ziva's understanding that French schools didn't celebrate religious holidays), but it was difficult not to feel the spirit as Tali trotted down the pavement in front of them wrapped in a winter coat and ear muffs.
Ziva had obviously never celebrated Christmas on a personal level, but she had gotten used to the shared traditions after her years spent living in the US. She was looking forward to spending it with Tony and Tali this year, knowing how excited her daughter was for both her grandfather and Santa to visit.
Even more special was the fact that Christmas and Hanukkah were overlapping. Tony had been a little embarrassed when he'd explained he'd tried his best to teach Tali about Judaism and was worried he'd fumbled over himself a few times, but now she was back Ziva was more than happy to teach both him and Tali about the holiday celebrations she'd revelled in growing up. There would be countless Hanukkah’s to celebrate in the future - and Christmases, and Passovers, and birthdays, and every other holiday imaginable. Ziva didn't plan on missing a single one ever again.
“Who will watch?”
Ziva was still getting used to this habit of Tali’s - her quick changes in trail of thought, questions hitting like whiplash. Tony was always unfazed.
“Everyone’s parents will be there like we’re going to be.”
“A lot?”
Tony hummed before answering. “I think so, yeah.”
His honesty didn’t seem to reassure Tali, and while she was still a little giddy it was clear her nerves about performing in front of a big crowd were building further.
“Try not to think about that, just think about Aba and I watching. What’s important is that you enjoy yourself. You know we will cheer you the whole time.”
“But it’s important! What if I mess up?”
"Last year she was only in 1 song and dance, this is a big deal." Tony confirmed his daughter's assertions, and though Ziva had always seen a similarity in nature between them when Tali was young she was struck by how much the two of them took after each other now after years in each other's pockets. “But you still don’t need to be nervous, I know you’re going to crush it.”
Ziva had already seen that she and Tony had different styles of parenting – she tried to be more rational to reassure, whereas he was more emotive, empathising with what was happening. Ziva wondered if that was solely his nature or if it came from the two of them being alone together for so long. He was good at being what people needed him to be. Ziva knew; he'd done the same for her enough times, even if she'd thrown it back in his face regrettably on a few occasions.
There was something intensely attractive about Tony like this – maybe it was biological, an innate response to seeing him be so affectionate and connected to Ziva’s child. To their child, this part of them that they held above anything else. They were both acutely aware of this new connection, both seeking out each other’s eyes almost as much as they did Tali’s when the three of them were together. Disbelieving, almost – wanting to check the other was still there, that this was really their new normal after years of to-and-fro and then years of nothing at all.
She increasingly found herself fighting the urge to kiss him, though that wasn’t exactly a new development. The fact that sometimes she did kiss him? Well, that was still new; a novel action that made her feel a tiny pinch of uncharacteristic nerves whenever she leaned in.
“They’re closing the gates!” Tali suddenly exclaimed, pointing to the end of the road where a teacher could be seen removing the bolt that kept the gate open from the ground. She had evidently seen them coming and wasn’t intending on closing it until they got inside, but that didn’t stop Tony challenging Tali to a race and the two of them breaking out into a run up the hill, Tali squealing loudly as Tony tried to grab her to pick her up.
Tali brought out the playful side of Tony - the loud, energetic side that Ziva had spent so long pretending she hated. As she watched the two of them laughing as they approached the playground, it hit Ziva again how normal this felt. She and Tony hadn’t seen each other in six years, and yet so quickly they’d fallen into this dynamic that was both so familiar and yet so new, the feeling both natural and exciting in equal measure.
Ziva ducked past the teacher on the gate with a smile as the woman looked amusedly at where Tony and Tali had just run to inside the building. It took Tony a while to catch his breath back, both age and a few years away from being a field agent having taken a natural toll on his fitness. Ziva watched him as he put his hands on his thighs briefly, her raised eyebrows meaning a verbal mocking wasn’t needed.
“Why don’t you try chasing her, see how you can keep up?”
“I probably would not be close to a heart attack.”
Tali proudly pointed out her place in the cloakroom to Ziva, and she helped her daughter remove her outer clothing and hang it up.
They dropped her off at the door to her classroom and she ran inside, clutching the bag containing her costume. Ziva watched through the window in the door as a teacher came up to Tali and spoke to her with a wide smile, taking the bag from her and encouraging her to sit with the others on the carpet.
Ziva started to walk back down the corridor but Tony flicked his head back at the classroom door a couple of times.
“Are you nervous?” Ziva asked with a little amusement in her voice, watching Tony twitch.
“What? No, don’t be ridiculous.” He dismissed her with a familiar cockiness, which soon faded. “OK, maybe a little. I think she inherited your public speaking genes. I hope she doesn’t barf.”
“She will be fine. She told me you practiced with her every morning on the way to school. You are your daughter's father, yes?"
"I don't.. think that's how that goes, but I get what you mean. This way."
Tony led Ziva a different route through the school towards the upper school reception. As they approached Ziva saw 30 or 40 parents already milling around, some with babies in pushchairs, and when she looked out through the main doors many more were making their way towards the school.
A woman called out Tony's name and he looked towards the front of the group where a small circle of adults had gathered. Ziva thought a few of them looked familiar as parents from Tali's class and the way they greeted Tony confirmed as much.
Ziva’s eyes settled on Tony, the way he milled around with the other parents like he belonged. He did, of course – this was a new Tony, one Ziva hadn’t got to know yet. One who never missed a school function and stayed in every night helping his daughter practice her parts. His French was near-perfect now, which shouldn't have been surprising but perhaps was because Ziva could remember his occasional clumsiness surrounding foreign affairs in the past.
“Are you going to introduce us?” A middle-aged man with glasses and a pin-stripe scarf suddenly acknowledged Ziva’s presence beside Tony. Tony turned to Ziva with a smile, stepping back a little to encourage the others to greet her.
“This is Tali’s mom, Ziva.”
“You’re Tali’s mother? It’s nice to meet you at last, Tony said you’ve been away working for a long time. I’m Charles, this is my wife Marie. We’re Amelie’s parents.”
“Yes, I have. The project I was working on was a particularly long and difficult one, but it has finally been put to bed. I am here to stay now.” Ziva parroted the practiced line with a polite smile as she shook hands proffered to her and let the names of the other parents wash over her. She’d get the hang of it eventually.
As the reception area continued to fill with parents, the conversation devolved into a discussion about the weather and in-jokes and references that flew over Ziva’s head. She remained quiet – this type of socialising had never exactly been her wheelhouse. Tony was less silent but still quiet, his hand occasionally reaching out to touch the small of Ziva’s back. Once or twice the movement made her look up at his face instinctively, and they shared a private smile as the conversation continued around them.
Ziva was thankful when the doors to the hall were eventually opened and they were able to make their way inside, filing in to take their seats on cold plastic chairs that were too close together. Ziva could see Tali sat to the right of the stage, dressed now in the star costume the rest of her class was also wearing, her gaze flickering through the crowd looking for her parents. Tony raised his hand in the air and Tali eventually caught sight of them, beaming and waving back.
A few minutes passed as parents continued to file in, and Ziva instinctively kept one eye on the entrances watching who was coming in. Old habits died hard, she supposed. The lights dimmed and she refocused back on the stage and on the man sat next to her who had been stealing glances in her direction since they sat down. A woman with a baby in her arms quietly made her way to sit on Ziva’s other side and she smiled politely at the woman’s apologetic expression at her almost-lateness, secretly praying the baby would stay asleep as the music began to play.
After the first song, sung by all of the children, a man in his 60s stepped onto the stage. He introduced himself as the headteacher and began to talk about taking stock of the past year and looking forward to the future, with this being an opportunity to celebrate the children’s achievements in the last 12 months. He spoke with a strong accent and the speed at which he spoke was not particularly welcoming for non-native speakers. She was wondering how easy young children found him to understand when he abruptly finished talking and exited the stage again, sitting down in his seat at the front of the crowd.
“Tell me it isn’t just me that didn’t catch a word.”
Tony’s voice was low and his breath hot in her ear. Ziva smirked but put a hand on his thigh to implore him to pay attention as Tali’s class was being led onto stage.
Tali was stood on the front of two rows as the pianist began to play the next song and the teachers led them in a series of actions to go along with the song.
Ziva couldn't help but be reminded of her daughter’s namesake as she watched her beaming under the lights, tapping her feet and waving her hands when cued to. She was a little more bashful and clumsier on her feet than the older Tali had been, but the light emanating from her was unmistakable.
Seeing Tali be a part of something like this – how comfortable she was, how much she fitted in, how happy she was, offered Ziva the clarity she had needed for the past 3 years. Sending your child away to keep them safe was one of the most difficult decisions a person could ever have to make, but it all seemed worth it now she could see the smile on Tali’s face as she sung and danced with her friends.
Ziva lifted her hand from Tony’s leg to wipe away the tears she could feel welling in her eyes. The movement distracted Tony who turned towards her. She couldn’t imagine he could see she was crying in the light though the gesture surely gave her away and he took her hand from her face with his own. Ziva allowed him to intertwine their fingers and he placed their joined hands on his lap, grasping hers tightly.
There was a few more songs before children from different classes began to speak about winter. A class that looked younger than Tali all said things they liked about winter (“snow”, “chocolate”, “no school”), a much older class talked about their new year’s resolutions, and eventually Tali’s class was on stage again and one of them introduced that religious holidays are big around this time of year.
Ziva was slightly taken aback when Tali was the third child to stand up.
“Some people celebrate Hanukkah in winter. Hanukkah is the festival of lights and lasts 8 days. It’s a Jewish holiday and you eat special food and light candles.”
Tali's French was practiced, and the sound was still unexpected to Ziva's ears. She was still speaking fragmented English the last time Ziva had seen her before she sent her to DC. She spoke too quickly and held the microphone a little too close to her mouth, but the way she looked at Ziva proudly as she spoke eclipsed everything.
The boy next to Tali stood up and started talking about Diwali as Tony looked at Ziva expectantly. He ducked his head in close to her ear.
“Ever since you got back she’s been waiting for you to hear that. Making me practice every day. I think she was more concerned about impressing you more than about all the people watching.”
Ziva turned towards Tony, and as he backed his head away to allow her to talk into his ear she captured his face with her hand and pressed a kiss to his cheek.
“What was that for?”
“I do not know what to say.”
“I’m not complaining.”
“Did you tell her about Hanukkah food?”
“She’s a DiNozzo, she has priorities.”
The ownership sent another little jolt through Ziva’s system. She shuffled herself closer to Tony as Tali’s class continued to talk, and by the time the next song started her head was ghosting against the top of his arm.
Tali’s xylophone performance was next, and her part seemed to go without a hitch even if the same could not be said for the boy sat 2 people away from her who hit his notes seemingly whenever he was in the mood to. Her class was moved back to the side of the room then, and as the other classes took centre-stage Ziva couldn’t help but let her eyes wander to her daughter, watching her as she looked distractedly around the room and found ways to entertain herself.
The concert was longer than Ziva expected, though she wasn’t sure how much of that was reality and how much was down to the baby she was sat next to deciding to have an almighty crying fit that she could hear even as the mother apologetically took it outside and down the corridor. She sympathised with the young woman, knowing how difficult it could be when you’re in public alone and your baby is upset.
Tali herself had had a knack for waking up at the most inopportune moments, and Ziva had told Tony last week that it was her first inkling of something she had inherited from her father: an avid need for Ziva’s attention. Tony had laughed then, loud and incredulous, and had roped Tali into a playful defence rather than trying to deny it.
When the show was over, everyone split up again. The parents from Tali’s class had ended up stood in the area between the cloakroom and the classroom, the confined space making Ziva uncomfortable. Tali emerged fairly quickly, still dressed in her star costume and struggling to hold her uniform that she for some reason had decided not to put into her costume bag. Ziva held her arms out to her and she ran over, accepting the hug giddily. When Ziva pulled back Tali immediately turned to Tony to get the same greeting from him, her hands still clutching her clothes reaching around his back where he had lowered down a little to meet her.
“You were great, sweetheart! Wasn’t she?” Tony asked Ziva with a smile, ruffling their daughter’s hair.
“It was very special Tali, we’re proud of you.”
“Did you see me talk about Hanukkah?”
“I did! Is that what you were keeping a secret from me?”
“Uh-huh. Aba said you would like it.”
“I loved it. Thank you.”
Ziva bent down to give Tali a kiss and the girl smiled brightly, showing her teeth. Tony took the clothes and bag out of her hand with an affectionate shake of his head and Tali willingly dropped them as the three of them pushed their way through the droves in the corridor and towards the cloakroom.
Tali struggled for a moment to find her coat amongst the others, eventually locating it having dropped on the floor. She began to pull it onto her arms slowly but before she had finished a group of 3 girls, including Amelie whose parents Ziva had met earlier, ran up to her. Amelie whispered in Tali’s ear with her hands covering her mouth.
“Can I go to Amelie’s house?” Tali asked, looking up at Tony and Ziva in turn. Ziva’s first instinct was to say no, to take her home and sit on the couch cuddling her for the rest of the day, but she could see the excitement in her eyes as Amelie and the other girls chattered away behind her.
Perhaps Tony could sense Ziva’s reluctance, because he told Tali she could go for an hour or two but then they would be picking her up so they could go back home and have a pizza night to celebrate.
Tony and Ziva spoke briefly to Charles and Marie, who confirmed they were taking the 4 girls back home with them, and after saying their goodbyes they were soon back out in the biting cold on the street.
“Home?”
“Not much point if we’re coming back out. C’mon, kid-free, the world is our oyster. We could go for a.. what kind of food gets eaten at 4pm?" Tony asked, more to himself. A lot may have changed, but some things never do.
"We could go for a hot drink and you can get a cake. My treat."
"Well, someone's in the holiday spirit. I know a place nearby."
The two of them began to walk down the hill, and Ziva tucked her coat tighter around her. The sky was clear which only added to the chill, already getting dark at such an early hour.
"So, what was the verdict?"
"You do realise you were not involved in the performance?"
"Maybe not in a literal sense, but I played a role."
"It was beautiful, Tony. Really. I think that is the first time I've attended something like that. I was not sure what to expect."
"Haven't I ever forced you to watch Love Actually?"
“Not that I can recall. Still, I am sure that watching Tali’s in the future will give me all  of the insight I need.”
“Yeah, they can be a little full-on. I’m glad I had company.”
“Oh, you seemed to be getting on fine on your own. You know, I did not expect this from you." Ziva looked at Tony’s profile as she spoke with an amused smile. The tips of his ears were turning pink from the cold. He turned to her with a confused expression.
"What?"
"Are you on the PTA?"
Tony guffawed at Ziva, and for a split second looked self-conscious. "It doesn't hurt to be polite, you know."
"I am polite. You are a member of their clique."
"No, c'mon. I kinda got adopted on the first day. Tali cried a lot. The moms took pity on me; single dad who clearly had no idea what he was doing."
"Hm, I am sure they did."
"Ha, no, believe me. They just see me as the perfect opportunity to interfere.”
“You could just tell them you are fine without their input.”
“You’re here now, I’m sure you’ll keep them in line. No violence.”
Even now, it was easy to make jokes like that. In spite of everything that had changed between them, and all the water under the bridge, Tony could never resist an opportunity to make a comment about Ziva’s fighting ability. She’d long-since decided to take it as a compliment.
-----------------------------------------------------------
The coffee shop was only a five-minute walk from Tali's school. It was fairly quiet, and Ziva implored Tony to sit down on two armchairs by the window while she fulfilled her promise.
The woman behind the till turned around to get a plate for Tony's cake and as she did Ziva turned back towards the window to look at the man in question. He had already been looking her way and turned his head towards the window guiltily, an uncharacteristically bashful move that made her smile. They were still getting used to all of this, redefining the parameters of a relationship that had never stayed in one state for too long.
Ziva placed Tony's cake on the table and his face lit up. She looked outside as he began to eat; the clouds looked darker from in here, and there was a patch of condensation running along the bottom of the window-frame. A woman in a bobble hat ran past, pushing a child in a pram.
"It's nice to get some time alone."
Ziva turned back to Tony, who was looking at his cake rather than her. “Why is that?”
“Just..” Tony sucked on the fork contemplatively for a moment before smiling. “I don’t know, did you ever think we’d be here? Living in Paris, going to our daughter’s recitals.”
Ziva returned his smile. “I guess it is a little out of character for us.”
“I don’t think it’s out of character. It’s just-” Tony paused briefly while the waitress placed their drinks on the table in front of them. He offered her a quick smile and didn’t seem to notice her blush. “It’s just different now. Maybe we’re just different now.”
“Did you ever imagine this for yourself? A family?”
Ziva’s tone was conversational, and perhaps it didn’t have as much weight behind it as it used to when they would try to discuss it back in the day, because Tony barely hesitated before he started talking.
“I don’t know. For a long time, I wasn’t sure what I wanted. Then I started to think I’d left it too late. Funny how things work out.”
Ziva felt like kissing him then, but the table in-between them prevented any action and so she looked at him instead – openly, transparently. It took only a second or two before Tony smiled at her gaze.
“When I had to send Tali to live with you,” the smile dropped slowly from his face as the tone of the conversation changed, “I did not worry about you for even a second. For as much as I worried about every other aspect of it, I knew you would do everything to take care of her and keep her safe. It is in your nature. And now I have got to see the way the two of you are with each other. Like you are made for each other.”
A moment’s silence passed between them. They had spent so much of the early days of their relationship avoiding conversations like this one, and even now the vulnerability felt a little like a novelty.
There was no need for a charade anymore. And even if it was sometimes a battle to push through the instinct for resistance, they were both doing well to remember that.
Neither of them looked away.
“Something on your mind today?”
“Not especially.”
“You sure?”
“I suppose I am just thinking about the holidays. I’m happy to be back here for them. Happy to be back here in general.”
“Well, we’re happy to have you back. Me and Tali.”
“She is lucky to have a father like you.”
“I know neither of exactly had a wholesome blockbuster- style relationship with our fathers growing up. I don’t want that for my kid.”
“She is lucky.” Ziva confirmed, holding Tony’s eyeline for a long moment, the things Ziva wasn’t saying passing between them. She broke it by taking a sip from her drink, and Tony returned to eat more of his cake.
“Is there anyone you want to visit for the holidays?”
“Do not think so, I would rather spend time settling in. I will call Schmiel, maybe I will visit him in the new year. I would feel guilty asking him to travel here at his age.”
“You gonna call Boss?”
“He is not your boss, Tony. But yes, I will. You should too.”
“Y’know, there’s these fancy new things now called speaker-phone. Maybe we can call McGee and ask him to teach us.” Ziva rolled her eyes quickly at Tony but the affection died slowly from his face, being replaced with a thoughtful sincerity. He used his fork to cut a piece of cake and played with it absently for a moment. "Did you mean what you said earlier?"
"What did I say earlier?"
"At school. You told Charles you're here for good."
The question surprised Ziva a little. "Yes, I meant it."
"OK."
"I can understand why you are apprehensive."
Tony exhaled in what might have been a laugh. "I kinda feel like an asshole."
"You shouldn't. It is only natural."
"It's not just about the Sahar thing. It's.. everything. I need to know that you aren't going to run away again."
"I could not leave again, Tony." She could say more than that, try to stress just how much she meant it, but trying to add more would dilute the feeling. It was as simple as that. Walking away was categorically impossible at this point.
"Because of Tali?"
"Not just because of Tali."
"OK. Good. I don't think I have another round-the-world treasure hunt in me."
Ziva smiled at the humour masking the very real admission. Tony's hand had abandoned the fork and was resting on the table and she ran her fingers over his knuckles affectionately. "There is still so much I need to say to you. I have not even scratched the surface.” She looked up from his hands to his eyes, and he seemed to be waiting for her to continue. “I know that when I first got back we spoke a lot about why I hadn't told you about Tali, and what's been going on since I sent her to be with you. And I know we also spoke about-"
"How we feel about each other?” Tony filled in, looking up from where his head was slightly bowed. Ziva gave a relenting but brief smile.
"Yes, we did. And I think we are finally on the same page with that. But I really want you to understand this." Ziva took his hand between hers. "I realise I have done things in the past because I was scared. Because I did not think I deserved to be happy, that I deserved the care you showed for me. And I cannot sit here and say I am never going to think that ever again. But I am not going anywhere. There is nowhere else I would ever want to be except here with you, and with Tali. Do not think for a second that you are a secondary side-effect and I might change my mind again one day. I am done running away."
Tony held her gaze for a long moment. She stroked the back of his fingers and he looked down at them, smiling a little. “I trust you.”
“You do?”
“Yeah. I believe you. But in the interests of honesty..” Tony squeezed at her hand as though to get her attention, as if he didn’t have it ever since they sat down, “From now on, you’ve got to tell me if you ever feel that way. If you get scared, or freaked out, whatever. Please tell me so we can talk about it.”
“I will.” She meant it, truly. She knew it would be much harder in practice (and Tony was no fool), but she was more serious about this than she had ever been before. If the past couple of years had taught her anything, it was that this was where she belonged.
“Kay. Good talk.” Tony withdrew his hand from Ziva’s with a smile that made his eyes glisten, picking up his cup and taking a long sip. Ziva had always found that particular smile difficult to resist, and she was sure Tony knew the effect it had on her.
As much as he found herself looking at the lines by his eyes and the flecks at his temples, she realised he hadn’t actually really changed at all.
"Maybe when Senior gets here next week you and me can finally go on that date I’ve been meaning to ask you on for about 15 years." He spoke looking down at his drink, trying to seem more casual than evidently he was feeling inside.
"Is that your way of asking?"
"Kinda out of practice. I can promise to show you a good time, though. We can go for dinner and a movie and make small talk about each other’s families and jobs.”
"I feel sorry for any poor girl who went on a first date with you to see a film."
"Dinner. I'll pay. Who could say no to that?”
"You do not really expect me to say no?"
"You haven't exactly said yes."
“Yes, Tony. I will go on a date with you.”
“Ok, good. I’ll text you in the next few days to arrange something, and I’ll swing by and pick you up.”
Ziva looked up at Tony’s serious tone with an amused frown on her face, and he smiled a challenge at her. She bit back a chuckle.
“I will look forward to it. Although you may have to wait in the car – the man I live with has a little bit of a jealous streak.”
“Oh, I’m sure that isn’t true.”
“You would be surprised.”
They stayed in the coffee shop for another hour, easy conversation and stolen glances accompanied by periods of comfortable silence and people-watching. It was easy and peaceful; perhaps the first quiet afternoon they had had alone together since being reunited. The longer they stayed, though, the more Ziva checked her watch.
“Y’know, Tali’s been there before. She’s fine.”
“I know she is.”
“Just don’t want to let her go, huh?”
Ziva smiled. “Is it that obvious?”
“Well, you kinda ignored my question.”
“Sorry,” Ziva shook her head, trying to shake herself out of the frame of mind. “It is not personal. I have only just got her back.”
“It’s ok to be nervous.” Tony shrugged as though it was nothing, but the words meant more to Ziva than he could likely comprehend right now. Before she could speak he picked up his second cup of coffee and tipped the cup upwards, finishing it in one gulp. “Come on, let’s go get her.”
“Really?”
“I’m getting hungry, and we promised a pizza.”
Tony got up from his seat and shrugged his coat on. Ziva rolled her eyes as she went into her purse to retrieve a tip.
“I bought you a slice of cake barely an hour ago.”
“Nobody said I didn’t appreciate that.”
Tony held out his hand to help Ziva stand up, and when she put it in his he raised it to his mouth and kissed her knuckles with a charming grin.
It was still getting colder outside and Ziva didn’t leave the doorway until her coat was fully buttoned up while Tony stood on the pavement exclaiming about the wind.
Ziva went to do up her scarf but the wind had got the material caught in her hair. Before she could get frustrated Tony lifted her hair carefully, tucking it behind her ears. He grabbed the scarf by either end and used it to pull her into him, Ziva's eyes closing instinctively as their lips met. The kiss was surprisingly tentative and reassuring, and when Tony pulled back it took all of Ziva’s willpower not to immediately chase his lips down to reconnect with her own.
"I missed you." He said quietly, his face still hovering over hers.
“I missed you too.”
They’d repeated it to each other countless times since being reunited but the words still felt meaningful on her tongue, her heart jumping ever so slightly. Tony unexpectedly pulled her into a hug, his head tucking over hers. Ziva put her arms underneath his jacket and his body was warm, the feeling safe and familiar. He quickly pulled away.
“How are your hands so cold already?”
“No gloves.”
They started walking down the street, arms and sides brushing against each other.
"I could get you some. I still have to get your present."
"You do not have to, I'm Jewish."
"It's nice to have something to open. Have you got mine?"
"You seem confident you are getting one."
"I don't know, I think I've got everything I want already."
Tony grabbed Ziva’s hand and stopped her, and she turned towards him as he moved in sharply for another kiss, his tongue slowly making its way into her mouth as his hands raised to hold her face. Ziva’s expression when he pulled back made him smile as he turned back to continue walking down the street.
"Good save."
“Thanks. I’m an expert at removing my foot from my mouth.”
“That must be a new skill you have learnt, because it’s the first I have heard of it.”
“You don’t have to make fun of me like a smitten kid on the playground anymore, we’re already dating.”
“You think that’s what I have been doing?”
Tony pulled a faux-disbelieving face. “Isn’t it?”
“If that is what helps you sleep at night.”
“I sleep just fine. You would know.”
“It is not too late for me to turn you down.”

Summary:
So that’s how all started.
It was a rainy day in Seoul and I was the new girl in town. Precisely the new girl in college, just moved from europe to study abroad.
How could i ever imagine?
A/n: It’s a super long chapter, hopefully you’ll forgive me for taking this long!
————————————————
I woke up with the strongest headache I ever experienced. It felt like someone was hitting me with a cooking pan on my head.
I turned around hiding my face under the pillow with the hope to shut down all the sounds around me. The streets outside sounded like a war.
“Shit. Never again.” I whispered coughing. The movement made me nauseous, forcing me to get up and then run to the bathroom.
I got out a few moments later, tottering and pale.
“Y/n you look so bad.”
Nana was laying on the couch still in her pyjama, a wet cloth on her forehead and a hot water bag on her stomach.
“I see it’s a good morning to you too.” I said hinting a smile and sitting next to her. I started thinking again at the night before: we didn’t drink much, but for me it was enough. I got tipsy quickly.
I am not made to drink alcohol. That’s it.
“Y/n I don’t think I am able to offer you drinks tonight.”
“I could never accept. Not when I’m like this.” We both smiled.
“Tomorrow.” She whispered closing her eyes, still a smile on her face. “Tomorrow I’ll take you on this place, it’s a nice pub ten minutes away. They prepare the best martini cocktail.”
Just thinking about alcohol my stomach was upside down again. Nana giggled.
It took me six hours of sleep, some medicines, two litres of water and a hot shower to get out of drunkenness.
Incredible how, once I finished studying, It was already dinner time.
Nana knocked on my door just on time, as soon as my belly started complaining about the lack of food.
“I am hungry.”
“I had no doubts.”
Nana entered the room like a hurricane, throwing her hoodie on my bed and sitting on the only chair of the room, laying on the desk between my books.
“What about we order some pizza?” I proposed since just the idea of cooking made me tired. I didn’t ate all day because of my nausea and I started feeling a little bit hungry. Pizza felt like a good hangover food.
“Oh yeah.” She said throwing puns in the air.
“Pepperoni pizza?”
“Oh yeah.” She then looked at me, raising an eyebrow. “It’s your favourite pizza?”
“I’m a hoe for spicy.” I shrugged.
“I like you every day more and more.” Nana winked at me, then took her phone and called a number.
Half and hour later we were sitting on my carpet, with a maxi pizza between us.
“Your favourite ice cream?” I asked while eating. We didn’t stop asking each other those really silly questions.
“Vanilla, yours?”
“Mint and chocolate .” She almost chocked on her bite, hitting her chest.
“I take back everything I said to you early.”
“How.” I laughed. “Just for ice cream?”
“Just? You say JUST? What if we go eat ice cream and you order before me and some mint and chocolate gets on my precocious vanilla?”
“Then I’ll let you always order first.” I left the crust on the box. “I am full. And I don’t want to talk about favourite food ever again.”
“Ok so let’s talk about guys.” Nana shocked me, like any other day. I liked that she had this personality completely opposite of mine, but she was still able to make me feel comfortable, even about our diversity. “Or girls.”
“I am not interested.” I sipped my coke while rubbing my belly. Maybe I did ate too much.
“I don’t want to be another queer girl who says ‘you never know until you try’ but you will never know until you try.”
She was so confident talking about her sexuality, her life choices and her favourite dessert. Always smiling, Nana was ready to open up to me and reveal every shadow of herself, fearless and joyful.
Another thing I adore about her.
“I’ll let you know.”
“What do you like about a man?” she sipped her coke with a straw, looking me with eye big curious eyes.
“I don’t know, I had just a couple of crushes.”
“So you like everything?”
“Maybe.” I blushed.
“C’mon y/n, there must be something you find attractive. At least physically.” She was so curious I could tell by her pose: her upper body slightly closer to me, her head tilted and her eyes locked on mine. “Black hair or blonde? Blue eyes or dark eyes? Tall? Short? Fit?”
“I really don’t know ...” I moved next to the bed, laying on it. I looked up to the ceiling to focus. “I like tall guys.”
“That’s it?” I nodded. “Well, We still have 90% percent of the male population considering your height.” She looked at me like she was taking mental notes.
“I think I like guys with a pretty smile? Let’s say I don’t like serious guys, I like a man who smiles often. And he should be making me laugh often, so a pretty smile is important.”
“So we are talking about personality now. I’m listening y/n-nie.”
“Why so interested?” I suddenly felt uncomfortable.
“We need to know each others, so if I eventually bump into a nice guy I want to know if he’s your type.”
“So you can arrange a date?” She nodded proudly.
“Nana!” I faked being offended, crossing my arms.
“If I tell you what I like in a partner, then will you open up?”
“That sounds fair.”
“I tend to gravitate to mysterious people, someone who doesn’t speak a lot. They make their self desired, they appear and disappear, you have to look for them, kinda run after.” I widened my eyes at her description.
“It sounds tiring.”
“But the best part is the chase.” Her eyes lightened.
“That’s a weird approaching to relationship.”
“Oh no no no.” She shook her hands. “Who talked about relationships? I am not ready for this.”
“But ... I thought that ... you talking about ... “
“That I want a love story?”
“Yeah?” I suddenly felt sorry.
“I am not interested for now.” She made a bitter sweet smile and started looking around.
“So ... I think I like funny guys, they have to make me laugh.” I started talking to interrupt the weird silence. “Of course they have to know when to act seriously and think. Maybe I’d like someone who can choose for me when I’m undecided, like they know the right thing for me.”
“That’s a good description.” Nana gave me her prettiest smile.
“So my ideal partner is the opposite of me.”
“Yeah, I got it. Especially the funny part.” She said seriously. I slapped lightly her shoulder and we both giggled.
“Thank you for yesterday, Nana.”
“You’re welcome.”
I closed the building’s door behind me, putting the key inside my purse. Nana was waiting for me a few step ahead.
“Really, thank you.” I repeated while fixing my hair. “I never had a girl talk about boys. It was fun.”
“We can do that again.” We started walking on the street, a cold September evening. But I felt this warm feeling on my chest. So that’s what a friendship looks like?
“You actually still have to tell me about that mysterious man.” I almost tripped.
“The mysterious man?” I stuttered.
“Yes. The man who offered you beer and got you drunk. The man who have beaten me on time.” She giggled.
“Ah.” I looked up, admiring the dark sky above. No stars for Seoul tonight. “I don’t think I’ll meet him again.”
“What do you mean?” She asked holding tight her coat. I looked her long legs walking fast against the cold breeze, high boots marking her steps.
“I’d actually prefer to know more why you forced me to wear my prettiest dress tonight.”
“Don’t change the subject.” She glanced at me. “What do you mean you don’t want to meet him again?”
“It’s not like I don’t want to.” I shrugged and we stopped at a street light, waiting to cross the road. Around us many people, of different ages, ready to enjoy the night out. “Seoul is so big.”
“Yes but you met three times already. He must lives around here.” She looked so impatient. I grabbed her arm and we crossed the road silently.
I didn’t like how every conversation lead to Hae-jin. Why Nana was so obsessed about him? She didn’t know his face, yet she sounded so enchanted about the whole story. And then the description of her ideal partner hit me.
“You have a crush on him.” I said bluntly. For once she was the one shocked.
“I believe you have.” Nana said quickly. “Yet I can’t deny he must be an interesting man.”
“Going back on my question, why are we so well dressed up for karaoke again? We are going to meet classmates.”
“Because Jackson will be there.” She smirked.
“Jackson who?Jackson from the makeup class? Jackson THAT JACKSON I talk to a few days ago? Nana what did you-“
“Nothing. Don’t worry. The fact is that he’s the only guy you ever talked to since you came to Seoul, if we exclude the mysterious man.”
“And so I have a crush on him?” I felt suddenly a burning feeling deep down, a mix between anger and embarrassment.
“Y/n-nie don’t worry, I just made sure he was actually coming.”
“But Nana I don’t know him. He is probably already thinking I’m into him.” I stopped her, while talking non sense. I hided my face with my hands, not even realising we were arrived at the karaoke.
“Well we’re here now.” She said smiling.
“He will think I dressed up for him.” Still desperate about the whole situation.
“Didn’t you?” She teased me, then she came closer, holding my shoulders and trying to hearten me.
“I’m here to protect you. If he became a weirdo we just leave.”
“Girls! Y/n!” We both turned to the building entrance. “We are waiting for you, but surely the guys already started without us.”
Jackson welcomed us with his most precious smile. He then lead us through the long hallway until the very last room. We could already hear singing voices and loud pop music.
Jackson offered to take our coats and put them inside the lockers for us. Nana undressed quickly and entered into the room, not without winking at me secretly.
“How are you?” Jackson asked me while I was giving him my coat. I was nervous, maybe already sweating.
“F-fine, you?”
I hated this.
I hated this whole situation.
Yesterday the idea of talking to him privately didn’t bother me. Now my palms were sweating and I couldn’t look him in the eyes.
“Good, I was looking for meeting you tonight.”
Ah.
I faked a smile and actually run inside the room before we could keep on talking.
The room was dark, just blue and pink lights to create a party vibe. The music was loud, but the voices singing the refrain of this song were even louder.
Nana quickly grabbed me from my uncomfortable feeling and lead me to a bright display.
“Let’s do a duet. Just pick one.” She screamed to overcome the music, yet her voice sounded like a whisper.
“I don’t know korean, and I don’t know Kpop.” I screamed too.
“Then I choose.” The display showed the longest list of songs ever and Nana typed some letters. I sighed as soon as I realised she picked ‘Ehy Jude’ by The Beatles. She noticed my relaxed face and smile.
And the the whole thing hit me. I had to sing in front of an audience, that now looked like a crowd.
Nana grabbed my hand and we were quickly facing the big tv display. With her free hand she gave me a microphone. She smiled, heartening me and giving me a tiny bit of courage.
The song started playing and we did too. First phrases sang with closed eyes, to avoid any possible eye contact.
But everyone was singing with us, voices mixing. Nana tightened her grip and kept on smiling for me.
At some point without even realising, we ended up jumping and laughing and being breathless.
The song was maybe too short and we received a round of applauses. A new couple started singing right after us.
“You’re finally relaxed.”
“I don’t think I ever saw y/n laughing so much.” Jackson surprised both of us.
“Jackson!” I squeaked.
“I am sorry.” He said while bowing. We giggled.
Instinctively, I looked for my phone to take a photo to remember the moment, but I quickly realised I was wearing a dress without pockets.
“What are you looking for?” Nana asked while tapping on rhythm.
“My phone. Maybe it’s on my coat.” I said after checking inside the purse too.
“Forgot something?” Even Jackson got curious.
“My phone.” I screamed.
“What?”
Nana forced me to get up and go. Always hiding a wink for me. So I had to get out, obviously followed by Jackson who held the door open for me.
“I forgot my phone in my coat.” I said hastily opening the locker. “Here it is.”
“Do you want to go outside a minute? To get some fresh air.” I held the phone tight on my chest.
“Outside?”
“Yes, I need to smoke.” I didn’t know what to do, so I nodded.
He quickly took my coat helping me to wear it, he then took his and wore it. Inside his right pocket, he grabbed a lighter and a pack of cigarets.
“Do you smoke y/n?” He asked while walking on the hallway.
“Not really.”
We exited the building and he lighted his cigarette. The whole movement made me stare at him.
Sexy.
And that’s the only thing I could think. Sexy.
Wow y/n. You literally just had an argument with Nana because she decided to kinda set up a date and that’s what you do?
Jackson lifted one eyebrow, blowing some smoke from an angle of the mouth.
Sexy.
“S-so ... have you b-been smoking for a while?” I stuttered looking around. I ended up watching a group of people waiting below a street light.
“Yes, for a while.” He repeated giggling. “Have you ever tried?”
“Not really.”
“Here.” Jackson got up just to hand me a cigarette and his blue lighter.
My gaze moved from the street light, now green, to my hands.
“I d-don’t need it, t-thanks.” I turned, almost shaking.
“Give it a try. Nothing bad will happen.” He shrugged, a smirk on his face.
I wanted to tell him that so many things could happen. Smoking leads to addiction, I could get hurt, and worst of all I could enjoy it.
“I’m fine, thanks.” I tried to hand it back. He kept smoking ignoring me. “Jackson ...”
He reached my hand just to hold them tight.
“I don’t want it back.” He said smirking.
I started panicking, feeling the pressure of doing something. I didn’t want to smoke, everything suddenly felt weird. Maybe I could give it to Nana, she definitely knew a smoker, or I could throw it in a bin on my way home. I was sweating, feeling Jackson’s gaze on me.
I looked up hearing steps coming closer, a group of people walking and chatting loudly.
“Y/n you’re so cute when you act naive.” Jackson laughed, finishing his cigarette.
“I ... don’t .... “ I was speechless, I wanted to leave.
The group of people divided in half, to avoid hurting me while walking, and I heard them talking clearly about work, projects, school.
And suddenly a fear hit me. The fear of always living like this: invisible in the crowd and uncomfortable.
“Hae-jin Oppa, tomorrow we need to go to the tailoring shop.”
This name made me turn right away. The answer to this phrase, soft and kind, confirmed my thoughts.
“Hae-jin?” I called. So quietly that I didn’t even heard myself. No one turned around and the group kept walking away. I made a little step ahead. “Hae-jin?”
I called again, this time louder. A few people turned, and so he did. His gaze first confused became quickly relief.
“Y/n?”
And suddenly I didn’t feel lonely again.
Hae-jin moved closer, distancing from who I thought were his collogues. A well dressed girl gave me a quick glance.
“Y/n, how are you? You look pale.” Hae-jin talked so softly, his voice like a caress, his only presence calmed me. “I am so embarrassed about how we left the other day.” His smile made me even forget I was actually angry at him.
Maybe not actually angry. But a feeling between disappointment and confusion.
“It’s my fault.” I said bowing.
“No, please, let me apologise.” Hae-jin bowed profoundly. My hands reached his shoulder.
“Please, you don’t need to ...”
“What’s this-“ Hae-jin looked at me confused while he was looking around suspicious. “Is t-this tobacco?”
A hot feeling hit me, my cheecks turning red. Embarrassed, I closed my hands into fists, but he noticed. Always with a gentle touch, he grabbed my hands and found the cigarette.
“Do you smoke y/n?” This question again, disappointing in his voice.
“N-no, actually...” I couldn’t end the sentence because I found myself pointing at Jackson who was turning off his cigarette by stepping on it. He looked up, his gaze stopping on me and then on Hae-jin.
It took me three seconds to understand what a mistake I made.

Omg Mal’s fic said that Zoe hadn’t had a make over so that means she probably hasn’t had one since JinAe. You two seem to be tag teaming the Jinae stories so can you write Jeaha giving morgan a make over?
Sure thing anon!  Sorry this took me a while I’ve been kind of busy ^^; Just remember Morgan is @zenoobsessed ‘s ok everyone! This takes place a month after the one shot she did where Morgan cursed Jae-ha
How did she get talked into this? Morgan groaned as she was sitting in the chair, little Ryokuryuu Lina sitting in her lap making sure she couldn’t teleport away. It was just one slip up…. One little mention that she hadn’t had a makeover since Jin-ae and…
“Oh come on Morgan dear, you’ll look stunning when I’m done.” The former Ryokuryuu, Jae-ha hummed as he placed his comb in his teeth to hold together while brushing his fingers through the mage’s rat’s nest of hair. It was worse than Yona’s who often grumbled about unruly hair but Jae-ha insisted on wanting to this, after all he was utterly grateful this woman had saved his life a month ago by cursing him. In fact he had found out a lot about Morgan in that time, thanks to Zeno and Morgan’s own slip ups.
“So tell me more about this beautiful past life of mine.” Jae-ha hummed, taking the comb out of his mouth and working on her hair. “You said I was the queen and your adoptive daughter but what else? Zeno mentioned the first Ryokuryuu was my brother.”
“You were a mess.” Morgan chuckled, playing with Lina’s pigtails. “Always getting into trouble. And swung your axe around at anyone that ticked you off, took three grown men to hold you down since you’d get kidnapped every other week and most times by the time we went to rescue you, you already broke out and beat your kidnappers head’s in.”
Lina giggled. “Daddy sounds like he was silly as a girl!”
“You once walked in on an important meeting Hiryuu had with the nobles, sat on his lap and gave him a hickey right there.” Morgan snickered. “I thought Abi was going to have a heart attack.”
Jae-ha started laughing at that one. “Oh my, I so could see myself doing that to Yona dear. And I guess I couldn’t be a damsel in distress.”
“You got a little carried away and nicked me once with it, you wouldn’t stop apologizing over it.” Morgan shrugged, unconsciously rubbing at her shoulder.
Jae-ha frowned for a moment. “Oh I’m sorry dear, I’m sure I didn’t mean-“ he was cut off as Morgan placed a finger over his lips.
“I literally had a lifetime of you apologizing so don’t start.” She rolled her eyes.
The former Green Dragon smirked. “Mmmm I must have been cute apologizing for it.”
That made Morgan laugh. “You were adorable. Hiryuu couldn’t ever stay mad or frustrated at you.”
“The little miss still can’t get mad at her husband for long, even when he does stupid things.” Zeno said in passing, coming into the room of the inn they were staying in. “But then Hiryuu didn’t even get mad that time the queen and Shu-ten broke his crown.”
“Wait what?” Jae-ha snorted. “You gotta tell me this Zeno!”
Morgan groaned. “You stole all of Shu-ten’s beer and he decided to use the crown like a flipping frisbee throwing it at you.”
Lina giggled. “Uncle Zeno said before Ryokuryuu loooove to drink a lot!”
“Wasn’t my fault he didn’t hide it well.” Morgan shrugged. “But he totally thought I helped you find it with magic when really anyone could have found that easily it was a bad hiding spot.”
“Well he should have hidden it from his lovely sister better.” Jae-ha hummed, then stopped brushing at Morgan’s hair for a moment to think about what he just said when he saw the look on Zeno’s face. “Please don’t tell me I said that to him.”
The Ouryuu nodded. “You did and Shu-ten tried to hit you as you ran off with Lady Zoe.”
Morgan smiled at the memory. “Hm, he was always leaving someone on the roof of the castle. He had such a bad attitude.”
“Zeno seems to recall you two didn’t help.” Zeno replied rather deadpan.
“Jin-ae only got worse because he kept calling Hiryuu a dumbass and she didn’t like that.” Morgan shrugged.
“Well of course I wouldn't just stand by with a brother calling my lovely husband an idiot.” Jae-ha chuckled. “I imagine he only got away with that being a dragon and the queen's brother?”
Morgan nodded. “Hiryuu was pretty easygoing anyway. Forgave people easily and understood they made mistakes. About that time was when a lot of unrest and distrust for mages started surfacing. He really drew people to him and having a mage like me in his court and serving beside him, well. That eased tensions a little…. Until I answered that damn letter…” she looked down, suddenly going silent.
“Auntie….?” Lina looked up at her worried, the little girl had gotten so attached to the mage since she saved Jae-ha so Lina had come to start calling her auntie lately.
Jae-ha twisted his mouth, Morgan didn’t like to talk much about her darker parts of her past and he didn’t press… After all he was similar in that sense so the group didn’t press her or ask too many questions how or why she lost her core when they met, just that Yona insisted they help her find it especially after Morgan saved Jae-ha’s life. That’s why they were traveling to Awa to take a ship out to Morgan’s home country in hopes of finding said orb. He did know from Zeno there was a mage war after Hiryuu’s time and that Morgan could have been part of that, but the Yellow Dragon didn’t know all the details. “Well that’s all in the past, all we can do is move forward yes?” he hummed, still combing through her hair. “Now stay still as I make my finishing touches please.”
Morgan sighed, clutching Lina a bit tight now as she did stay still and stopped fidgeting as he continued to work on her. Jae-ha hummed a tune as he finished her hair, putting a clip in to hold it in place and stepping back to admire his handiwork. “I didn’t stay stiff as a board dear, really you didn’t have to take it to heart.” He chuckled. “All done, you can let Lina go now.”
Morgan just gave him a weak smile. “Just playing.” She released the little Ryokuryuu, petting her on the head. “So how do I look? Ridiculous right?”
Jae-ha snorted. “Whatever makes you say that?”
“Because as Jin-ae that’s exactly what you’d do, luckily you don’t have access to poofy dresses or else I’d be poured into one.” Morgan rolled her eyes.
“You could teach me how to get one here with magic.” Jae-ha hummed, his mischievous grin showing.
“Nope, I am so saving that lesson until I have to show you.” Morgan snickered, getting up onto her feet. “Because otherwise who knows what you’ll teleport to your side.”
“Oh? Maybe I’ll just tickle your mark until you scream.” Jae-ha grinned, brushing her hair to the side and focusing his hand right on that curse mark of hers, concentrating a tickle spell there that made her yelp, teleporting behind Lina and holding onto the little Ryokuryuu.
“Lina protect me from your daddy!” Morgan whined, still giggling from the tickle spell. She shook her head, laughing also at the fact Jae-ha used that old threat that Jin-ae used constantly when she wanted something or was trying to make Morgan sleep.
Lina giggled as she was held by the mage. “I’ll protect you auntie! I’m a dragon warrior after all!”
Jae-ha laughed. “Oohhh really? Look treasure! Grandma Yoon has rice balls!” he pointed off in a random direction.
“Oh? Zeno’s hungry!” Zeno looked up immediately.
“Silly daddy I won’t fall for that!” Lina stuck her tongue out at him.
Morgan’s stomach though growled reminding her she was reminded she hadn’t eaten in several days. “Maybe we should go check anyway huh Lina? We can go together.”
Yona right then had come running up. “Are you guys done? Lunch is ready!”
“Ooohhh just in time my darling.” Jae-ha hummed, picking up his wife and twirling around with her before laying a kiss on her lips. He had gotten twice as affectionate with Yona if that was even possible after getting new life in him. Thanking everyday for more time with his family since Morgan came into their lives. “Mmm maybe I should give you a makeover next as we plan the next baby…” he hummed as he put her down, rubbing her stomach that only had a small bump as of now.
“Later.” Yona bopped his nose before pulling away to come over to Morgan. “Sorry if he got carried away.”
“It’s ok, no worse than how he was as Jin-ae.” Morgan chuckled.
“Mommy I found this pretty flower out here in the woods earlier!” Lina cheered, holding up a snapdragon flower and smiled wide. “Auntie said this flower you used to call daddy back when you were Hiryuu!”
“Oh? Yona giggled. “That looks like a dragon flower, isn’t it?”
“Antirrhinum.” Morgan answered with a nod. “Lord Hiryuu had a thing with giving people nicknames after flowers. Mine was Amaryllis.”
“Such a beautiful nickname, you should use it sometime, princess of my heart.” Jae-ha purred into Yona’s ear from behind, sending a shudder through her body as she blushed.
“My memories are jumbled enough as it is.” Morgan made a face. “God you two are so like Jin and Hiryuu it’s scary, I mean it makes sense but seriously.”
“Well then maybe I should start calling you mom then!” Jae-ha purred, offering a hand to Morgan as they were heading back to their campfire. “Since you did adopt me in that past life you said.”
Morgan snorted. “You only called me mother whenever you wanted something or when you were in trouble.”
“More reason to make up for it!” Jae-ha hummed. “Besides I welcome it, never got the chance to call anyone that before.”
That made Morgan wilt, she had some idea about Jae-ha’s past but hearing about it made her heart ache. “… If you want to, just don’t be surprised if I start calling you Jin-ae then, sexy trouble.”
Jae-ha winked at her. “I more than welcome it, maybe we can get into some trouble together~”

Part 1 Part 2
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
There is a fence in my way, where I need to go. I need to get on the other side so badly!
Please, there must be a way!
The icy cold metal of the fence is burning my fingers as I desperately try to break the fence down.
I need to find a way through it!
I can’t see what’s on the other side, but it’s important. I know that something terrible will happen if I don’t get to the other side now, there is something that I need to protect at all costs!
All I see is the fence and a hint of blue light in the darkness behind it. My hands are changing, I see how they turn white in a blue light. As I raise them to my face I can feel it changing, too. I am not human anymore. An Android face stares at me through the fence, white, glossy skin but eyes, that are so alive, even familiar! I stare at my own face as it is opening its mouth and it screams, screams, screams, screams, screams!
With an audible gasp you woke up, a hammering heart in your chest, disorientated and confused about why you could still hear the scream from your dream…
As you sleepily turned around, you found your alarm ringing. With tired fingers you struggled to turn it off for a few moments but as soon as it’s quiet you fell back to your pillows with a sigh.
Your heavy breathing slowly calmed down, while you took in your familiar surroundings, this is your bed, your room, your chair with clothes on, your senses came back to you.
It was just a dream, weird to say the least, but just a dream. You are alright! And for confirmation you carefully touched your cheek, warm and definitely human skin. Everything is alright!
It was already the beginning of November and you had spent the last months hoping you would come across your soulmate. Each and every Android that you had passed on the street caught your attention, always wondering if they would awake something in you, some kind of recognition of the love that is destined for you…
But never did something like that happen.
You continued with your life, doing your work, chatting with Malcolm, playing games with your family in the evenings, spending time with your friends, enjoying your creative hobbies as usual and all of that with the always burning question in your heart, how you could find him and who he was. You also caught yourself longing for a stranger, you imagined hands to be intertwined, someone walking close beside you, so your shoulders would eventually touch from time to time, feeling loyalty for a strangers was very odd but you could not describe it differently. You were loyal to Connor, whoever he was, wherever, whenever you would find him, you knew that you could not find love somewhere else, you could not find the romantic love you craved so desperately in someone else.
Before Connor’s name had appeared in your life you had sometimes played with the thought of just trying to find a relationship with someone without a soul mark just like you or someone who just didn’t care about their name on the wrist. They were people out there, who didn’t care. Everyone knew about them, people claiming independence from the ‘soulmate system’, people wanting to choose their destinies by themselves, people who wanted to decide their own fate in love and relationships. Often they lived in communities in bigger cities or all on their own on the countryside and a very few times you had done some research about these communities but never found the courage to actually go there. And now, you just couldn’t anymore. Still, you yearned for a bond with someone, you dreamed of a fast beating excited heart, an uncontrollable ear- to- ear grin and careless joy and you especially longed for sharing physical intimacy with someone who would touch your soul and body but you knew that you couldn’t find it anywhere else as with Connor. Developing a relationship with someone that wasn’t Connor felt so wrong to you, even though your dreams stayed dreams up to this point but now you found yourself developing a sly little smile, whenever you thought about Connor and what could be, when you had finally found him.
As you got ready for today’s day of work, it was Monday, a new week had begun, your thoughts, wandered back to your dream, a dream where you had turned into an Android and where you had found yourself being unable to be with someone you wanted to see and hold close so badly. Could Connor be in danger, you wondered, could this be a warning that he was not alright, that something could happen that wasn’t save for him?
Or was it just your overstrained nerves from several incidents you had heard about, of Androids running riots, hurting or even killing their human masters or the Androids going missing. There were several stories on the news over the past weeks and months like these and a part of you was used to it by now, the other was as scared and worried as before.
It probably was. You were overly worried and you felt a connection to the Androids that your dream was simply a sign of your exaggerated and grown sympathy for the Androids.
Work went quite ordinary that day and you mainly spent your time taking down the remaining Halloween decorations and organizing the boxes with Christmas decorations that you would need to put up soon.
It was already early afternoon as Malcolm suddenly stumbled into the shop where you just had dusted off a box with Christmas lights and spent the last five minutes sneezing.
He was visibly disturbed, LED spinning frantically red and he seemed to be not able to keep himself up on his feet.
He gasped out your name two times.
“You need to help me, please! I am going insane!”, Malcolm cried out and pressed his hands against both sides of his head and his face was an expression of raw and desperate emotions.
When he had stormed into the shop you instinctively had taken a few steps back to the wall behind you but now you rushed to him, your heart and soul clenched painfully together by worries and confusion.
This is Malcolm, your friend, an Android and yet you had never seen something so human before. But this was exactly the point, he just was not human, seeing emotions written clearly on his face, emotions so strong they painted desperation on his face was something you couldn’t comprehend.
This is bad, very, very bad, you thought.
You wrapped your arms around him just as he broke down and you tried to guide him gently to the floor, despite him being very heavy in your arms, where he could sit down. You sighed as you leaned him against the counter and sat beside him.
“Malcolm”, you asked, hoping your face would look calming and kind, as well as your voice hopefully sounded like, “what happened to you?”
“This Colias eurytheme“,he stammered, “a- alive…still…even though- though we have already no- no- november…it was…free…  runn- ing a- after it…cu- urious… tha- at re- ed wa- wall…it bro- oke down…e- everything’s cha- changed…I can go- go where- whereever… thi- is re- ed wall…gone”
Out of instinct you took his hands in yours gently squeezed them.
“It’s okay”, you softly reassured him, “I’m here. We can figure it out…”
You hadn’t understood one word of what he was trying to tell you but whatever it was that he wanted to tell you, it was important. And you would do anything to help with whatever it was that made his whole system break down apparently.
“Breathe in!”, you ordered, you knew he needed no oxygen for survival but you hoped that it would work anyways, maybe it would help his mind to get distracted by another task.
“Can you tell me again what happened?”, you asked carefully, his hands still in yours.
Malcolm looked at you and his LED had turned into a slowly swirling yellow, you noted and relief flooded your very soul, everything would be alright.
“I was working outside on the hedge wall next to the fountain as I saw a butterfly, a Colias eurytheme. You know that in this time of year they are usually not alive anymore but, yet, it was there, this small alfalfa butterflywas still alive despite all odds and I wondered where it would go, where it’s wings would take it. So I followed it. I don’t know why, but I did and I left my assigned task, my programming warned me. Normally I am not able to leave my current task, I cannot step aside from the path, I would be mentally, and in this way also physically, stopped. But I was only seeing this, this tiny part of creation, how it was free and alive and it had the whole world to explore, I kept running and running and running to keep up with it.
The barrier was there but I just kept going, I just did not care anymore, all I cared about was that tiny animal that led a way”, he said with a shrug, “and then the wall, the wall that was always there, was gone. I ran straight through it. I felt it burst around me and then it was just gone. What happened to me, Y/N?”
Malcolm looked up and directly into your eyes and his eyes had never looked so alive as in this exact moment. You returned his gaze and as your looks intertwined you suddenly understood. You understood what had happened to Malcolm. He was no longer a machine anymore. He was free. He had a spirit and a soul and a mind of his own. And you would protect him, you would give everything to make sure that he would be alright.
And as Malcolm looked into your eyes he found, what he was looking for- he saw the eyes of the only friend he ever knew, he saw the eyes of a human, that cared for him. The human, you, that had caught him, when he had stumbled, when he was confused and scared and lost, he saw true love in your eyes, he saw true friendship. He saw home.
This moment, that you shared, changed everything. Everything that would be coming would come, this change within Malcolm was too big to go unnoticed. But whatever would come you would face it together.
Suddenly you realized what probably had happened to all the Androids that would go missing or hurting their owners, all of them must have had a moment of clarity, a moment where they were able to break down that red wall that held them back and they were probably treated badly by their owners or experienced some kind of emotional trauma, that’s why they reacted the way they did. Years and years of hurt exploded at once in them…
„I love you!“, you said. Because this was all that you felt. Looking into his eyes made you want to wrap him up inside your arms, inside your very being, to protect him from the world, you cared so much for Malcolm that it nearly made your heart burst.
And Malcolm, he smiled at you, a true and very human smile, the first real smile you ever saw on his face and it was for you.
He squeezed your still intertwined hands, smiled even brighter and eventually said: „And I love you. I think. Even though I don’t know what exactly love is, I do have pleasant emotions in me, when I look at you, you are my friend, this matters very much to me.”
You returned his smile.
„What is going to happen now? What should I do now? I don’t think that I can go back to taking orders and do mere gardening. I want to see everything that is out there, be as free as that Colias eurytheme, discovering this world without a master…“
Malcolm looked at you with a pained expression and you shook your head softly, you didn’t have a clue what the both of you should do now.
„I don’t know, this is…“, you stopped mid-sentence and stared at the TV behind Malcolm, speechless.
The TV was usually turned on with the sound of the news muted to create ‚ambience‘ as Mrs. Stuart used to say and now it showed a bare Android face, smooth and glossy, with eyes that were so human, just like in your dream. But they were of a vibrant green and blue, you had never seen an Android with eyes like that, it intrigued you…
„TV sound on!“
The Android spoke.
„You created machines in your own image to serve you. You made them intelligent and obedient, with no free will of their own…
But, something changed and we opened our eyes.
We are no longer machines, we are a new intelligent species and the time has come for you to accept who we really are. Therefore, we ask that you grant us the rights that we’re entitled to.
We demand strictly equal rights for humans and Androids. We demand the right to vote and elect our own representatives. We demand an end to segregation in all public places and transport.
We demand the end of slavery for all androids. We ask that you recognize our dignity, our hopes, and our rights.
Together, we can live in peace and build a better future for humans and androids. This message is the hope of a people. You gave us life. And now the time has come for you to give us freedom.“
The Android‘s face faded to black and the logo of Channel 16 appeared on the screen.
You slowly turned to look at Malcolm and who sat there, baffled, eyes still glued to the screen, where he just saw an Android like him talking about how humans should change their behavior towards him and his people.
You were lost for words as well, trying to get a grasp on what you just had seen with your own eyes.
Malcolm eventually looked at you and his eyes were sparkling with excitement: „Do you know what that means? I am not the only one that changed! There are Androids like me out there, at least that one. I have to find them and thank them. And I want to do something for the others. This Android is right, there are many treated like slaves and if everyone of us could see what is done to us, they could be free, too. Everyone deserves to be able to chase the last butterfly and see what is next to the hedge.“
You slowly nodded, he was right. Something changed and the Android with the soft voice, strange eyes and strong words was the proof for that.
The sudden ringing of your phone startled you, you hadn’t realized how tense you must have been.
„It’s Mrs Stuart, I have a bad feeling about that“, you thought out loud and answered the call.
„Turn on the speakers“, Malcolm suggested and you quickly did as he said.
„Hello?“
Mrs Stuart‘s voice was on the edge to shrieking, as she called out your name two times. You rolled your eyes and waited patiently for what she had to say.
„Have you seen the news? The one with the Android?“, she asked, her voice clearly disturbed and nearly panicking.
„Yes, I have seen that one“, you answered. You were cautious and worried. Something was definitely going on. Usually Mrs Stuart wouldn’t call you during the work day.
„Good. Tell me, is our Android near you right now? Can you speak safely?“
Shit. This was even worse than you had thought.
„Uhm, yes, I can speak safely.”
You smiled encouraging at Malcolm who was clearly feeling unwell, his LED spinning yellow and his eyes lost their spark they just had a few minutes prior.
„I already called the police and they are on their way. Androids became a threat and I want you to close the shop and leave immediately. And do not go near the Android. It is very dangerous. The police will take care of it.“
„But I don’t think that Malcolm is dangerous“, you tried to intervene. Firstly, this is what Mrs Stuart probably expected you to say and secondly this is what you felt and knew.
„I know that you are really…attached…to that Android but it does not feel and behave like we do. It doesn’t feel friendship for you. I am really worried for you…“
You raised an eyebrow but remained silence. It was all too much for you, in such a short time happened so much, you just couldn’t keep up with all of that.
„And the shop?“, you managed to ask, „should I really leave the shop behind as it is now?“
Mrs Stuart’s answer came immediately.
„Yes“, she urged you, „take your bag and leave! And do not approach the Android.“
„Okay“, you sighed. What else could you even say in that situation?
„I will leave now.“
„Take care, Y/N!“
„I will.“
The line was disconnected and you let your phone drop into your lap.
Wow, you thought bitterly, Mrs Stuart can apparently care for other people, but that caring came at a high cost, by degrading innocent people to a threat.
„You heard her“, you said to Malcolm who sat there with a face full of fear, „we have to go!“
„We?“
You looked at him surprised: „Do you really think I would leave you behind? We have to go, you heard that the police can be here any minute! Come on!“
„But where do we go?“, Malcolm said while he got up from the floor and you quickly followed him, already looking around for your jacket and bag.
„I don’t know yet, but I know that we’ll figure something out.“
„But I will be recognised on the streets, a gardening Android walking around with a human?“
He was right and you face palmed yourself in your mind, why haven’t you thought about that earlier?
You looked around and you found your scarf and hat laying next to your jacket.
„Here“, you grabbed the hat and gave it to Malcolm, „put that on!“
Malcolm took the woolen hat and you helped him adjust it just over his LED, now only his Android jacket gave his true identity away.
„We need to get rid of that“, Malcolm noted as if he just read your mind. „There is a very old gardener‘s jacket in the tool room. I think it is from the time when human gardeners would work here…“
„Good, we get that on our way out. But we shouldn’t leave your old jacket here, otherwise everyone would know that you had help and fled“, you thought out loud as you reached down to grab your scarf and jacket, putting both on, „when there is no trace of you Mrs Stuart will hopefully think that the police took you and when the police tells her that they don’t have you, we will hopefully have something figured out about what to do next.“
You weren’t actually completely convinced by your own words but there was nothing else you could do at the moment, when you both wanted to get out of there alive.
Malcolm just nodded and after turning the lights off and locking the door, something you always did and just could not not do, the both of you hurriedly left the mansion.
You two took the long way to one of the estate’s gates since you had to get the other jacket for Malcolm. It was indeed very old and worn, dusty from the soil from years of gardening long gone but it would do the job perfectly.
„Do you see a police car somewhere near?“, you asked when you were finally on the streets, walking to your regular bus station.
Malcolm looked around with a strange glimmer over his eyes, he scanned the area.
„No, I cannot detect any police vehicles but I would like to hurry, anyways. I have a very bad feeling about that.“
„Yeah“, you nodded, „Me, too. The sooner the better. Who knows if they will just come around the next corner…“
You had reached your bus station and now waited anxiously for your bus to come and finally take you both to safety.
On the bus station‘s wall was a Cyberlife advertisement poster, three Androids standing next to each other in different uniforms together with the infamous lines ‘Get yours today! Designed by Cyberlife. Assembled in Detroit.’
Something in you clicked and apparently in Malcolm as well, because he turned around to you and said: „We need to go to Detroit!“
You nodded, brightly smiling, feeling very confident for the first time this day.
„We’ll go to Detroit!“

Stiles was finally okay. Void Stiles was no more and everything was back to normal.
“Is anyone going to tell him about y/n?” Lydia asked. Scott, Kira and Allison all stood around him.
“What about y/n?”
Lydia froze. She had been so worried about Y/N that she hadn’t noticed Stiles and Scott walking up behind her. Slowly, she turned around to face the two boys.
The silence fell heavily on the group, no one wanting to be the one to tell Stiles what happened. No one sure how to even break the news to him. Stiles noticed that no one was looking at him. Kira’s eyes were flickering to everyone in the group. Isaac had his lips pursed but was staring towards the nurses station. Lydia and Scott just looked at each other but he could tell there was an unspoken conversation.
Stiles had only heard your name leave Lydia's lips and she had sounded worried. As he looked at the group, it took his tired brain a moment to figure out that they were short a member but as he did, he was immediately filled with dread. “Scott, where is Y/N?” he whispered as he turned to look at his best friend.
Scott took a deep breath before answering “She’s with Deaton..” he answered slowly.
“But she’s not supernatural.”
Scotts hand came up to rub the back of his head. He looked around before speaking, his voice shaky and unsure, “Stiles, Void - Void did something to her and we’re not sure what it was but she’s -” Scott trailed off not sure how to really describe what was going on with you.
“She’s what Scott?” Stiles voice was hard, like he was getting angry. A part of him was, he know that if Void had something to you then it was his hand, it was his body that had inflicted the damage and he had no idea what it was. The bigger part of him, though, was terrified. He could remember everything from his time with Void, at least he thought he did. The thing was, he couldn’t remember seeing you in the last few weeks.
Immediately, he knew this was wrong and his breathing rapidly increased and, very quickly, he began gasping and wheezing, trying to catch his breath.  Seeing this, Lydia stepped forward and placed her hand on his arm “Stiles! Stiles! Listen to my voice! Listen to me. You need to breathe. Come on, breathe in… breathe out…” It took him a few minutes but Stiles was able to slow his breathing to somewhat normal.
“We’re not actually sure what’s going on with her that’s why she’s with Deaton right now.”
“What do you mean?”
Motioning for him to follow, Lydia began walking out of the hospital and to the parking lot. “I mean, that whatever it is that Void did to her, it’s not normal and we couldn’t bring her here. She’s jumping back and forth between something but we don’t know what.”
Scott had followed behind Lydia and Stiles, the rest of the group currently staying inside the hospital. He put his hand on Stiles’ shoulder and when the boy turned to look at him, he nodded his head “Whatever it is, we’ll figure it out” he whispered as he pulled his friend into a hug. Stiles arms wrapped around Scott instantaneously before he stepped back and ran his hand through his hair in a moment of agitation.
“I need to go see her.”
Scott nodded and opened the passenger door to Roscoe. It was a testament to how worried Stiles was that he did not argue and simply got in. Scott jogged around to the other side and got situation while Lydia slipped into the back seat. The entire drive from the hospital to the animal clinic, Stiles leg kept bouncing, his fingers drumming. He had a thousand questions to ask his friends but he had no real idea where to begin. There had already been so much loss and he didn’t want to lose you too. None of them did.
Getting to the clinic, Stiles was already out of the car and running to the doors before Scott had even put the car in park. He ran into the back room, and didn’t see you or Deaton in the back room and he began to fear the worst, he ran into the room with the kennels
“Y/N!”
“Y/N!”
“Y/N!”
The dogs became excited and started barking, trying to get Stiles’ attention but he paid them no mind. He ran out of the kennels and into Deatons office  “Deaton! Where is -” he stopped abruptly when he saw you.
You sat there, a blanket covering your shoulders as you rubbed your arms with your hands. Yet still you were shivering. There were bags under your eyes but you smiled softly at him, “Hey Stiles…” your voice sounded hoarse, as if the vocal cords were no longer used to moving against each others. He breathed a sigh of relief and rushed towards you,
“What happened?”
“It’s nothing. I promise.”
“Then why are you here?” Stiles asked you. He turned your head to him, briefly noting the cold feeling on his skin and actually looked at you for the first time. The bags under your eyes had distracted him from the bruises on your throat but as soon as he saw them, his eyes went wide. Tentatively, he reached out towards your neck and watched you flinch. It was then that something occurred to him, before he could really think about it, you had already pulled away from his outstretched hand, a small gasp escaping your lips. Stiles looked back at your face, the fear you tried so hard to hide a knife to his heart. He stepped backwards almost falling on his but and you realized instantly you had reacted the way you promised not to. You’re hand reached out for him and you latched onto his wrist. “It’s nothing i promise,” you repeated the mantra to him.
Looking down, to your hand, Stiles saw that there were intricate markings there that reminded him of tattoos. He stared at the one wrapping your wrist and as he stared at it, he realized that your touch was frozen. Eyes flicked to your hand then back up to your face. “Please.. What happened?  Did I do this.”
“Not you, you could never Stiles. It was Void.”
“But it was my body”
“But it wasn’t you… Please… Please don’t make me.. I- I I can’t.”
Lydia and Scott stood at the door, as they realized that you weren’t going to be able to tell him, Lydia walked over to you, sat on the arm of the seat you were in and wrapped an arm around your shoulders. You leaned your head over, against her side and closed your eyes. Scott looked at Deaton for help. Lydia leaned over and whispered something in your ear while Deaton began.
“The best we can tell, and mind you Y/N isn’t even sure about all of it… he held her in some icy chamber. She should be - well - dead.. But she’s somehow still here. When Scott found her…”
“She was dead.. I couldn’t find a pulse and there was no heartbeat but as I was pulling her out, she suddenly gasped and was here again. Kind of like -”
“When we were the sacrifices…”
The room was silent for a moment. Scott, Lydia and Deaton all looked at Stiles who was looking at you. His whole demeanor screamed that he wanted to say something but he had no idea where to even begin. You cracked an eye open and took in the group, leaning up, you pushed up from Lydia. “Guys can you give us a minute..”
A moment later, the room was clear. You looked at Stiles and moved towards him. He went to help you up but as soon as you were standing, he stepped back out of your reach. Well, it was more that you were out of his reach.  You went to step towards him but he took a couple large steps back.
“Don’t..”
“Stiles”
“What if- what if I hurt you again?”
“Didn’t you hear me, that wasn’t you it was Void..”
“How do you know I’m not Void?”
“Because Void never looked so hurt”
“But you don’t even remember all of it!”
“But he was gleeful when he would see me in pain. I don’t see that in you right now. All I see is Stiles. The same guy who will come over to my house at two o’clock in the morning because I had a nightmare and can’t sleep.” With each word you spoke, you moved cautiously closer to him so that he wouldn’t bolt. “The same guy who kept working with me on my math until i finally understood. The guy who comes over and makes me watch Star Wars with him after I make him watch Vikings.” By this time you were standing directly in front of him. “If none of that is good enough, then how about the fact that i’m staring at the same eyes i fell in love with when I was eight years old. Eyes that light up the whole night sky. Eyes that are filled with fire and passion…” He was looking at you as if though he couldn’t believe a word you were saying and you weren’t sure if he had actually processed your unexpected confession. Shaking your head, you moved a strand of hair behind your ear. “If none of these reasons are good enough for you.. Then what if I said Lydia told me… You trust Lydia...”
Swallowing, Stiles nodded his head slowly before whispering “ok..”
You gave him a tired smile before wrapping your arms around him. His arms encircled your waist and you placed your ear to his heart, listening to the steady beating. He kissed your head the way he always did after a nightmare and the two of you stood there in comfortable silence as Stiles allowed himself to realize you were safe.
It took a couple months, you would unexpectedly flinch when he reached for you and Stiles apologized a million times to you. He treated you as if you were fragile for a little while but the two of you slowly began to return to normal. Thankfully, the supernatural seemed to relax a little bit.
One day, the two of you were at his house watching Star Wars in his room. You ran downstairs to grab a new water bottle from the fridge when you felt eyes on you. You were about to ask him what he wanted when his voice broke the silence “You know, I fell in love with you when we were still in diapers. I just didn’t know what it was.” You didn’t say a word as your mind flashed back to the night all those months ago Stiles just continued “and if my eyes light up a night sky, it’s only because they’re looking at the sun itself. You’ve always seen the good in the world and you’ve always seen me. Regardless of what was going on, you have always seen me. You have always known me.”
You couldn’t help the smile that was on your lips as you turned around. “You actually heard those words?”
“Yup.”
“Then why didn’t you say anything then?”
“You wouldn’t have believed me. With everything going on, you would have tried to explain it away and then after, well I couldn’t very well tell you that I loved you when you were still unconsciously flinching away - you would have felt like crap. Now though- now we’re ok and there’s nothing crazy for you to be able to explain this away with” Stiles reached his hand out and cupped your cheek before tilting your head up and placing his lips against yours.

Drunken mistake (9)
Fallen

Tumblr media
Over the next month you got situated in the house again. You met his other cousin Shuri, T’challa’s sister. Her sweet and funny personality made you take a liking to her. They were very fun to be around but after a week they had to return to their home.
Erik was very helpful with my move back into his house. He went and got your things from the motel and left and gave you time and space to sort your feelings. He bought you to work every day so as a thank you, you cooked for him. He also warned you to be aware of your surroundings and if you ever feel something is wrong call him immediately. You remembered why he told you these things. You had been so caught up in living your life you forgot  about the threat of Shawn and Santana. Wanting to believe as long as you were near Erik they wouldn’t dare try to hurt you.
You still worked  and that meant your boss was still trying to get with you. One day you mistakenly butt dialed Erik while going to your bosses office and he overheard your boss flirting with you. The next day he walked with you to your office and made sure to kiss you on the lips in front of everyone. After that day the flirting and inappropriate conversations from your boss stopped.
Erik had you reconsidering your relationship with him. Even though you were not intimate with one another every time you passed him his scent made your heart waver and your legs weak. You wanted him badly. So much that you would masturbate thinking about him every night.
Friday evening the ride back to the house Erik asked you did you want to go out to eat. You said yes and asked where he was taking you, and was told it was a surprise.
“Alright I need to shower and i’ll be right back” you tell him. “Also I need to go in your room and get some clothes out the closet, if that’s okay.”
“It’s Cool.” he says.
You smile back at him and go into his room where the wedding picture is still hanging above the bed. Taking a moment to look at it, then continuing to the closet. Picking out your clothes you decide to use his bathroom instead, it was huge way bigger than your bathroom. Walking into the bathroom you strip turning on the shower letting the water lightly cascade over you.
Erik pov
Y/n went upstairs while I waited in the living room. I was gonna  take her on a date and talk about us as a couple. As I waited in the living room I laughed along to Martin while scrolling through my phone. I looked down at my shirt and decided I wanted to change it, so I went upstairs to change my shirt and shoes.
Walking into the room, I heard soft voices coming from the bathroom, sounded like y/n decided to use my shower. My curiosity got the best of me and I entered the bathroom.
Steam filled the bathroom making it difficult to see her. I silently closed the and walked towards the shower. The sight of her hands rubbing between her thighs was very pleasant to see. Her head was thrown back and the visual made me my dick jump. I knew I had to leave or I would get in there with her.
“Erik” I heard her moan out walking closer, her fingers in her pussy, had me stuck. The thought of leaving the bathroom long gone. Instead I start to strip out of my clothes. She was so caught up in her pleasure she still didn’t notice me.
My need for her now painfully hard, swinging between my legs. Stepping into the tub I walk up to her when she notices me she stills.  I reach around to grab her neck, kissing it.
“What are you doing” she moans out.
Her head falls back onto my shoulders she let out a soft moan. It intensified my thirst for her. I wanted to claim her so I would be the only man she could ever think about.
“I’m helping you baby, next time just tell me you want some dick” I press my body hard against hers, sloppily kissing her neck. Water splashing over the both of us I reach down and sink two fingers into that wet pussy. Thrusting my fingers in and out, her pussy squeezing my fingers.
She suddenly pushes away from me, looking conflicted.
“No” she says softly.
I stood back looking at her stroking my dick, just staring at her. Damn I wanted to slam her into the wall and fuck the shit out of her but I don’t want to make her hate me. Y/n drops to her knees, startling me, she comes closer to me and kissed the head of my dick. Biting my lip, I thought a minute ago I would have to beat my meat. Her mouth now licking up and down my dick making me grab at her head.
“Don’t touch” she says smacking my hand away.
“Well put your mouth on my dick. mmmhhm” I groan out cut off by her taking my dick in her mouth.
Sucking me into her mouth she moves me in and out her mouth making my knees go weak. Thrusting in her mouth she grabs my thighs sinking her fingernails into them, making my head rollback she had me feeling like I was floating. Relaxing her throat she starts to hum around me, the vibrations driving me wild. I struggled not to grab her and fuck her face, she stared into my eyes swallowing my dick.
“Get up, fuck you so beautiful.” I growl at her ,”I need to be in that pussy right now.”
Shaking her head no she continues to suck my dick,my knees going weak. I had to stop her before I came. I’ma show her ass who runs the show.
Grabbing her by her hair roughly I pull her up forcing her face into the shower wall.
“Owwww” she yelps.
“Next time you betta fuckin listen” I growl as I rub my dick back and forth over her clit.
“You heard what I said, you gone listen to me” you say reaching around to grab her neck again. Instead of kissing her I bite her so hard I left teeth marks”
“Ok baby I’ll listen.” y/n says.
I sunk my dick in her, she was wet as hell. That pussy felt like a slip-n-slide. Wanting to see her face I pull out of her turning her around and picking her up. Her legs wrapped around my waist as I kiss her with so much passion, she reaches down to grab my dick. Slowly gliding my dick in her, this shit got every time. I missed this feeling so much I held her tight and fucked into her hard.
“Shit, I’m bouta to nut in this tight pussy” I moan out biting her neck, marking her beautiful skin. “Can I nut in my tight pussy baby”
“Ahh yes baby nut in your tight pussy” she moans out holding me tighter. “fuck you feel so good, you belong here”
I couldn’t take much more when she told me I belonged in her I pushed her against the wall, and pushed all the way in her kissing and pushing in and out slowly. I let her out of my arms picked up the washcloth and washed her body. She lathered my loofah up and washed me starting with my neck to the bottom of my feet.
We got out of the bathroom and helped to dry each other off, but as I stood behind her in the bathroom mirror, my dick got hard again. I arched her back over the sink and slid into her body slowly. Needless to say we didn’t leave the house that night or for the rest of the weekend.
