i would love for a reveal in s3 that hellfire and holy water don’t work anymore on aziraphale and crowley. i don’t want to think about the situations they’d have to get into to prove it, but i think it would be such a beautiful middle finger to god. the things you made to destroy their kinds can no longer hurt them. they spent too much time on earth, living amongst and loving the humans you commanded them to adore. they’ve become like them. you don’t get to have them anymore.

hiii im sure you’ve answered this before but in regards to your twst x Pokémon, how do you choose which Pokémon go give to the cast?? really curious since your choices are unique :O
unique in a good way, I hope? 😅 (jk jk I haven't come across too many pokemon AUs, so I was going in without preconceptions, I guess!) I was sorta aiming somewhere between doing, like, a full AU with internal consistency and everything, and just picking entirely based on theme/character, so maybe that's why! basically I just set some arbitrary rules (no legendaries/no repeats/evo stages based on year) and then went on ~vibes~. a couple were also suggestions (thank you guys!) and last-minute decisions, so it was a bit of a delightful mess of ideas!
my one regret is that I should have given Riddle a Togedemaru after all. ...you know what, he can have one now, why not

Headcanon, theory, prediction, whatever you want to call it,
but I think the reason that the universe Miquel hijacked collapsed, and not Miles, despite them both being “anomalies” is because Miquel was trying to change someone else’s story, as opposed to Miles who inspires other people to change their own stories.
Like, Miquel tried to force himself into a universe that wasn’t his. He took the place of his counterpart and pretended to be him, he was playing a part that wasn’t meant for him, he was changing a story that wasn’t his. And the universe rejected that.
Whereas Miles inspires people to change their own stories. His universe didn’t collapse because that’s HIS universe. It’s HIS story to tell, and sure the plot changed along the way, but he’s still telling it.
The same with 42-Miles. His story was drastically changed because he wasn’t bitten by that spider, but his universe isn’t collapsing because he’s the one still telling the story. He’s still shaping his own future.
And like how Miles inspired Peter B to have Mayday at all. Without Miles, Peter wouldn’t have gone back to his and he wouldn’t have had Mayday. But his universe isn’t collapsing because that’s a decision PETER made. No one forced him to make up with MJ and have Mayday. But Miles gave him faith and inspired him to go back and give life another try. (Don’t even get me started how Peter would have literally DIED if not for Miles. He was going to stay in Miles dimension. He was fully ready to deteriorate. He literally would have died if not for Miles saying “NO BITCH YOU GOTTA GO HOME” much less inspiring him to have Mayday, I’m just saying I’m just saying.)
And the thing is I don’t think Miquel realizes that. He’s so caught up in his grief and anger that he’s completely consumed with following canon and my never disrupting ANYTHING. He doesn’t realize that that universe collapsed because he tried to change someone ELSES story. He tried to become someone else to live their story. He didn’t try to make his own and that’s not how it works.
Idk just thinking thots tonight, And ATSV is always at the top of my brain

Btw I have to say that my fave pjo ships are all between Percy, Nico, Jason, and Leo - like, basically whatever pair (and even ot3, why not!) you choose, it's an amazing ship
Percy/Nico? Literally my forever otp, i think y'all know by now how much i love them lmao
Percy/Jason? YES yes yes, a thousand times yes, they have such an amazing dynamic
Jason/Leo? The perfect Leo ship if you ask me, sweet and funny and deep at the same time, they complement each other perfectly
Jason/Nico? The sweetest possible ship ever, just thinking about it makes me melt
Nico/Leo? What we could have had in canon if Rick wasn't a freaking coward. I said what I said.
Percy/Leo? This is a weird one, but whatever, at the very least they would be the perfect pair of besties.

wait wait wait i just had a thought. what if in the kitty bed art it'll actually be kit who will be feeling unwell? like we know he suffers from nightmares, right? so imagine he starts having a terrible dream maybe of mother hawthorn taking mina, or of the riders coming for him again, or ty rejecting him (bonus points if he starts panting "ty, ty, ty") and then ty is the one who worries when he sees kit all sweaty and looking distressed so he tries waking him up and says his name over and over until kit finally wakes up with tears in his eyes but immediately ty's arms are around him, holding him close, telling him he's okay now, that he's safe, that he’s got him <3

this is a long shot and i'm sorry to ask, but if you don't mind, can mutuals (or contacts or regulars... just... this community) of mine who aren't jumping ship like... let me know? will any of us still be here? is it over? i'm trying to know if this really is it or what's... even happening. i hate to reassurance seek but i'm feeling pretty miserable and confused.
edit: felt like i was being really pitiful and fragile making this but everybody is being so nice to me and responding so patiently with all your thoughts and i'm in tears of gratitude thank you thank you thank you 💖

sorry I'm having thoughts because I haven't slept and when I don't sleep I have thoughts....................
I was thinking about Canon Suave Ganondorf again, and... I think what bothers me, beyond everything discussed, is that... it's not characterization? Like for example take Girahim, which I would argue is also a Sexy Villain. Him being a Sexy Villain is 1) a key factor of his presentation and double-edged creepiness, 2) has kind of a lot to do with his literal objectification and 3) is completely played as such, and Girahim himself has a lot of fun with his own theatrics. I don't mind Sexy Villains, they are a lot of fun and they can even be quite meaningful!
So I am not against Sexy Ganondorf by default. I feel like, if played honestly and not ashamed of its own conceit, it could be genuinely interesting! But I find kind of offputting that his sexualization happens almost exclusively extradiegetically. It's the camera leering, it's the clothes that, while really pretty and cool and interesting, do not actually inform us much about the character wearing them on screen, the behind-the-scenes tidbits that are just... not represented within the world of the game... And so, to me, where Girahim lands somewhere on the Bayonetta scale, TotK Ganon is kind of landing... I don't know, somewhere near "skimpy outfit worn by a character that would never wear something like this if given the choice, and the world doesn't ever question why she would and what that says about her"? I don't know if that makes sense, but, yeah. If you want him to seduce everyone, then. Do that. Make him active. Make him own that weird trait you decided to give him all of a sudden.
But again, given the game is deeply uninterested in Ganon as a person, but very interested as Ganon as an antagonistic object, it does end up feeling weirdly objectifying in that regard too.

it's not much but it's my current escapist daydream-yourself-to-sleep fantasy
may i present to you: whale watching in anacortes with bob floyd
you get up early to drive up from the city. he makes a thermos of tea, you pack some bagel sandwiches, just quietly moving around the shared kitchen, with just the light over the stove.
hours later you're on the boat and it's freezing. even though it's summer, the wind over the pacific is no joke, plus the boat's going pretty fast...you both knew it would be, but it's still a shock. bob keeps trying to give you his coat and you know that he will actually not be okay if he does, so you compromise by opening his coat and closing his arms around you, in front of him.
you can't hear each other over the wind and the boat's motor, but it's nice to be close and kind of quiet together
the first whale you see, you start crying. bob's behind you, so he can't see your tears, but he somehow knows. you feel his arms tighten around you, and his cold nose against your cheek as he reassures you that he's here, he sees it too.
he's all too happy to dart around to the other decks, for better views, and watches you amusedly as you burn through rolls of film, trying to capture the moments.
of course, you grab a few frames of him--looking quite rugged with his hair windswept and his cheeks flushed from the cold. He's squinting from how bright the sun is, and how sharp the wind is, but you know those'll be your favorites of the day.
the captain comes on the speaker to explain how you can tell when whales will breach and Bob listens with rapt attention. Sure enough, he starts spotting them and calling the captain and crew's attention so you can get closer--as close as conservation laws allow, of course; neither of you are interested in endangering the whales for a better view.
you keep waiting for it to get old, but it doesn't.
it's just the blue of the sea, the blue of the sky, and the excitement in Bob's blue eyes as you make memories on this excursion.
