tried time blocking in my bujo last night, made a mistake, did not have white-out on me (or the will to re-write everything), so resorted to google calendar. it's a packed day today. idk if i can do it all. we shall see. i am tired. note to self to be in bed by 10 if i wanna wake up at 8. not 11 bc i don't fall asleep right away. update: OMG YOU GUYS!!! I FINALLY ALMOST MADE IT TO THE END OF 8H OF STUDYING - I TOOK THE BREAKS AND EVERYTHING 🙌🏻🥳🙌🏻🥳🙌🏻 it would've been really cool to finish the 30 mins left but i'm pooped and sleeping now >> half-focusing and half-understanding. also i don't think i can survive studying 8h a day every day...i would burn out very quickly.

Just wanted to say thank you for the ottosuba posting you've done lately. The English speaking fandom is absolutely barren with Otto content, let alone ottosuba content. So to have someone as awesome about it as you post via Tumblr posts, fanfic, fanart, etc. on a good(-ish) website like Tumblr is like finding a diamond in the rough. Anyhow, looking forward to any future ottosuba content from you!

anon you made my day fr these are very high compliments T^T <3 i appreciate it a lot pfft a part of me is always like "I CANT REVEAL HOW MUCH MY BRAIN IS ROTTING OVER THESE CHARACTERS..." bc i get a little embarassed a little shy bc what if i am posting the same things too much...??? but then i simultaneously go "lol my blog my rules anyway im gonna make a gazillion billion content *clicks post*" which is how all the otto and ottosuba content gets churned out alsdflj. especially bc - like you said - the english speaking fandom is a BARREN DESERT when it comes to otto and ottosuba content T^TT ive been thinking about it lately bc they seem to be a lot more popular in the japanese speaking fandom i think, but theres next to Nothing with the english speaking fandom :o interesting difference there.

but regardless :o yeah i keep making otto and ottosuba content bc i am in Desperate need of it... its a desert and i gotta feed myself too HAH theyve always been interesting to me but in the years ive been into rezero that Interest has skyrocketed bc of all the interesting developments pfft (and also the lack of english fancontent for them HAH). i just think theyre so underrated in the english fandom.... thank you for liking my stuff anon <3 :DD

i feel like this was gonna happen eventually and i didn’t want to just disappear without a proper thank you. i think my time of writing fan fiction is over now. i tried to make a new blog to reignite my passion but it hasn’t worked but that’s okay :)

writing on here (especially my former blog @sugawara-sweetheart) was one of the best times ever for me. i have enjoyed it so so so much from writing fanfic to interacting with you guys and reading other works etc. the encouragement and love you guys have given my work means more to me than i can ever express and i’ll always love and appreciate you guys for reading my works and supporting me and all the love you’ve given me as i’ve been on here. ever since i was young i’ve always wanted to be a writer and i’m not a proper one but knowing how many people have loved my works makes me feel like one :)

i don’t really have a reason as to why i don’t write anymore. i think it’s a mixture of exhaustion, less time and just not really being interested in writing for anime anymore but i’ll still always love writing.

Okay, okay, wait. A big reason Batman is so effective is his stealth, imperceptibly hiding in the shadows and vanishing silently back into them at any moment.

But crocodiles can see in the dark. They have a tapetum lucidum in each eye like cats, and Waylon Jones has crocodile eyes - yellow with vertical pupils and no visible sclera. So not only can he already smell the Bats coming a mile or a more away, but whenever one is lurking in the shadows, for Waylon they’re just… standing there, thinking they’re being so sneaky. He casually informed Nightwing of this once and Nightwing got very flustered until Waylon agreed, out of pity, to play along. It was awkward. Batman of course already knows, and it annoys him more than he lets on; both for the practical reason of it being much harder to catch Killer Croc off-guard and because the dramatic effect of his cool entrances is lost.

All the rogues are complaining about how insanely stealthy Batman is and Waylon’s just there like, “Oh, I forgot ‘dark’ is actually dark for you.”

However, because of how the tapetum lucidum works, his vision is blurrier the less light there is. Batman’s extremely distinctive silhouette is helpful here. But he does occasionally confuse Batkids with similar silhouettes in the deepest darkness. Once he thought he was lunging at Batgirl (Stephanie Brown), only for her to instead be Black Bat (Cassandra fucking Cain). That was a bad night.

i really struggled to maintain focus until i started just... randomly wiggling in my seat as i completed my readings. it reminded me of the kids i used to help tutor and how they'd wiggle in their seats and we'd tell them to stop and focus, but maybe they already were — and better.

usually lofi/chillhop also helps, but i block out sounds at a consistent volume pretty quickly, or if i'm tired, then it's too loud i can't think (gotta love the brain's capacity for attention... or lack thereof).
