Curtwen Week Day 6: Happy Ending

I want to thank everyone their support with reblogging my stuff over the years and reblogging some of the context of the situation.

Tumblr and Instagram is filled with the most supportive people I’ve ever had the chance of meeting. The last time something like this happened, I didn’t have much support, not even from people I thought were close to me. It took me a year or two to be okay with being perceived again in fandoms. So I’m very grateful for everything.

I just wanted to post that I appreciate all of the asks and I’ve been reading all of them. I actually get anxious I’m spamming everyone too much so I probably won’t reply to everything. Please don’t feel pressured to support me financially, there’s is a free option on patreon to follow. I’ll post future project plans and occasional updates because I still love comics and I still love DC/Marvel. I do enjoy having people following along for my art/reading journey so I would always be okay with people just following for free. My brain is telling me this post is too long now so I will go 🙏🏼😭

Sometimes 14 has fucking comas.

What I mean by this is after a very draining day (whether emotionally or physically) his body will just simply crash to the point he will sleep 38-42 hours at a time.

The first time he did it, Donna got so scared that she screamed, "Not on my watch, Spaceman!" And slapped him so hard that he woke up and whined 'It's always the mothers' under his breath.

The second time it happened, she called 15 and 15 preformed 'very advanced testing,' which included making 14 slap himself in the face while unconscious by holding his hand above his face and dropping it, giving him a nudge, and shining a light into his rhetna before saying.

"Yup! Im definitely in comatose!" Then proceeded to go "Awww! I'm in a coma! Ruby look i'm in a coma!" And cuddle himself for a few hours until he wakes up.

This being said, if 14s having a really good week and he's in the house? He's borderline narcoleptic. He's just as bad as Wilfred when it comes to nodding off. He doesn't mean too, he's is just so stressed that his body finally feels safe enough to process All That (TM) and it's exhausting.

Thursdays, he's the sleepiest because Thursdays he has therapy. No one is allowed to ask shit from the Doctor on Thursdays, or else Donna will beat you with a slipper.

i want to say first of all that i fully respect a community's/denomination's/culture's right to have closed practices. i am not entitled to other people's traditions, and when i am a guest in a space i understand that everything is not automatically for me. and i know i do not have to understand to respect.

and also! when i go to a catholic church and can't receive communion i want to fall on the floor weeping. what do you mean i can't have him he's right there. sorry my baptism was the wrong kind of baptism. i'm hungry and you want me to become someone else before being fed.

#lutheran alert but will NEVER understand closed communion. i respect it. but i do not get it #none of us will ever be holy enough to hold jesus within us but we do every day anyway. and so we are #communion is what brings me to god. to put a barrier of entry on that. to say you have to believe certain things or be in a certain state?#idk it doesn't sit right with me.#again i respect it i have catholic family ik the beliefs/history/good intentions.#but i need to come out as an open communion fan #roman catholicism didn't exist yet at the last supper. jesus said do this in remembrance of me.#everyone who does this has already fulfilled the requirements to be present at the table #i think that was the only hard part of my grandfather's conversion. that he could break bread for me at the altar but couldn't give it to m #i would give anything to watch him preach one more time (he's retired/sick now)#but more than that i would give anything to be fed by him again. to eat with him as our lord commanded #just once.#i will have to be satisfied with the foretastes of the feasts to come that i have received from/with him. we'll have that again
