Don't tell me it's too late now - a mlc mini fic
Tears were flowing down his cheeks. His whole body trembled as he held Li Lianhua in his final breaths.
"Please, don't do it, don't leave me..." he kept mumbling desperately.
Di Feisheng looked at them with an indecipherable expression on his face. He stood next to them with his lips pursed and his fists clenched.
“I found it for you…” Fang Duobing said while sobbing into Li Lianhua’s chest. Lying on the sand there was an abandoned flower, but it wasn't just any flower, it was said to have extraordinary healing qualities as it was born from the first rays of the sun that hit the world.
Di Feisheng slowly moved his gaze towards it. He knelt down and with a delicacy never seen before picked it up.
He then approached the two and placed the flower on Li Lianhua's chest and then placed a hand on Fang Duobing's head.
"You did everything you could"
And it was true. In those three months he had not only searched relentlessly for Li Lianhua but had scoured every corner of Jianghu in search of a cure.
Di Feisheng had followed him all along, united by the same feeling, to save the person they loved.
"Not enough..." he murmured as one of his tears fell on a petal.
Suddenly the flower began to emit a light glow but neither of them noticed, too caught up in the pain.
"You know there is a song related to this flower" Fang Duobing then said, moving his gaze to Li Lianhua's pale face.
Flower, gleam and glow
Let your powers shine
Make the clock reverse
Bring back what once was mine
Heal what has been hurt
Change the fates' design
Save what has been lost
Bring back what once was mine
What once was mine
As the melody hovered in the air the power of the flower began to release.
A warm and enveloping light blinded Di Feisheng and Fang Duobing and when they reopened their eyes the flower was gone.
Then as if struck by an electric shock, Li Lianhua jolted up and took a deep breath.
“Li Lianhua!” Fang Duobing shouted in amazement, jumping on him.
"Ouch! You're heavy..." Li Lianhua muttered coughing. He felt dazed and confused, as if he had woken up from a long sleep.
"It worked," Di Feisheng noted with relief.
He grabbed Li Lianhua's wrist and checked his pulse. He was there, strong and healthy. Not to mention his inner strength seemed to be settling.
They had managed to save him.
Unable to contain himself, Di Feisheng grabbed the doctor by the face, pulling him towards him and then bringing their lips together.
Li Lianhua was stunned for a moment then returned the kiss with passion.
Fang Duobing widened his eyes.
"It's not the time for this!"
The two former sect leaders broke away laughing.
“You don't know how long I've been waiting for this,” Di Feisheng whispered, resting his forehead on Li Lianhua's.
"For too long," the doctor smiled.
"Ew..." Said Fang Duobing looking away embarrassed.

…Headcanon that the next time Kaveh gets in trouble in desert (where he is on a research trip with Alhaitham) and is lost/separated from his companion, the three desert foxes come to his help out of nowhere and lead him back to Alhaitham.
When they are back and Alhaitham listens to Kaveh telling him about how the foxes helped him, one of the aforementioned foxes intensely stares Alhaitham dead in the eyes. Alhaitham stares back at it, and after a few moments barely noticeably nods.
For the sake of his (exhausted after a whole day in the desert) sanity Kaveh asks no questions. Alhaitham acts like nothing happened. The foxes return to the desert the next day when they depart.
A silent “We entrust the good human to you. Please, take care of him,” remains a small secret between the desert and the scribe (as well as a request he will gladly see to).

"Star Wars isn't dead y'all are just haters"
"Disney saved Star Wars"
"It's the Woke Agenda that ruined Star Wars"
My mans, Disney single-handedly destroyed the Sequel Trilogy despite the Force Awakens being the gateway to something potentially fantastic; MCU'd the Mandalorian (a story which originally had nothing to do with the Prequel and OG Trilogy aside from sharing a universe and exploring a sect of a completely different culture/ideology); ego-boosted both Filoni and Favreau to the point where their OC Verse is not only canon but openly disregarding the Star Wars Universe Bible/Lore; gave us a snippet of what an extremely misunderstood indigenous culture is actually like (instead of portraying them as the savages one of the white leads mislabeled as animals that deserved to be slaughtered) only to then wipe out the tribe we got to know for no reason other than shock value thus alienating indigenous/poc viewers in the most disrespectful way possible; completely threw away the entire message of TCW (that being a clone does not make you incapable of being your own person who has their own thoughts, ideals, moral compass and overall identity) by making TBB (a show that does have it's strong points in set design, soundtrack orchestration and overall sound design, but is extremely weak on both characterization and storytelling because they either make the meaningful plot points stretch too thin or focus on the wrong character completely) their go to show marketed for kids instead of the actual kids programming that people shit on for being for, surprise, kids; constantly disregards valid critique from their consumers (to the point where infighting in the Fandom has gotten extremely ugly) that people either give up on interacting completely or simply vanish and take all their things with them (because no one seems to understand where these critiques come from, or how being unable to admit your special little show is imperfect is actually not a good thing for both you and others).
This isn't even accounting for the fact the Fandom seems to have doubled in it's overall toxicity since Disney took over.
Which is par for the course when a mega corporation takes hold of something that started out extremely political in nature anyway.
The Cash Cow machine needs feeding after all...

WHAT do you mean The Mysterious Benedict Society got cancelled???
how did i just find this out? i'm so devastated.
this was one of the few disney+ originals that was genuinely incredible. The writing, the cinematography, the plot, the actors, everything was so well done.
When I started watching this show, I truly felt transported to my 12-year-old self who would've loved to have it as a child.
The value of friendship, love, loyalty, doing what's right regardless of how difficult it may be, the value of honesty; this show taught kids important, complex topics in a simple manner.
It makes me really mad that these types of shows always end up getting cancelled. Shows that actually make a difference beyond just being entertainment, who show people a good time while also having deep stories, strong bonds between characters, and taught important values.
This is Anne With An E all over again for me, I can't do this.

I didn't even watch the movie 'Wish' and by god I do not intend to but I got sick and had some YouTube time and... I somehow got into a bubble where people tried to improve Wish? So many content creators reacting to the really bad and generic songs and then trying to improve them with the equipment available to them, this one person even rewrote the entire movie. And according to some of them it didn't even take ages, one person took two hours to rewrite the lyrics to this one horrible villain song and the one who rewrote the entire movie said it took her three days? And I think that's so beautiful, individuals just taking some of their time to improve what this billion dollar company fucked up. I bet the original writers and artists of Wish wanted that movie to be good, I don't really know the process behind the scenes, but Disney being Disney very probably took profit as the highest priority without regarding anything else, and see how that turned out.
And a whole Disney's wish-upon-a-star-shtick centric movie for the 100 year anniversary? With lots of references to anything disney? What a potential, the idea sounds great, I might have even watched it (totally in a way that would give disney profit yea sure promise haha). Kinda sad.
