for GUN, he cant figure out for the life of anyone why they would wish someone that moved on in life the best of luck. he was a selfish man. when you disappeared from him, he mutters bitterly to himself wishing curses upon your name. the tear drops on the letter you wrote to him being the symbolism behind it all.

why would he want you to do well without him? why did you have to leave him?

did you not care as much as you said you did? he furrows his eyebrow. taking another drag out of his cigarette while he watches the stupid couple on the street pick out matching items for each other.

"jonggun! jonggun! look come here! hurry up!" you hiss at him as you press your face against the glass of a window. it was the pet adoption center. a calico cat taking a nap in the window as you cood at it.

that was the ugliest cat hes ever seen. it's eyes looked a bit too similar to the one you always give him when you want him to do something ridiculous for you.

"its cute" he gruffly says. you raise an eyebrow at him and made a face "youre a big fat liar. when we grow old with joongoo and james! we should all get a cat together!"

you giggle as you wiggled your finger at the cat. your breath fogging up the glass and when you pulled away he could see a slight bit of lipgloss- or lip tint- or whatever you were wearing on your lips that left it all glossy and shimmery left on the window.

he didnt say anything about it. he probably shouldve. you left the window dirty with your makeup. the same lips he imagined himself kissing from to time.

he thinks again. gun is a selfish man. when he read the letter you gave him, he thinks to himself for a far longer period of time than what he would appreciate.

he picks up the small camera you left behind in your apartment. he kept it with him for some reason. it was to keep videos and photos of yourself so he wont forget all of the times hes had with you.

"gun stop! stop! stop- what in the world happened here?!" your voice can be heard from behind the camera. the camera work a bit shaky as you walk closer to the restaurant.

there were a lot of bodies on the floor. a lot. "did you take them all down by yourself?" you ask him. you already knew the answer. he didnt need to respond but he did "yes"

you let out a deep sigh "this was supposed to be a cute video! you just ruined it. i wanted to send my mom and dad videos of me while im still here!"

you never sent it. he almost wished you did. so your parents knew what your friends were in korea. gangsters hanging out with the most.. sane one. sane is a strong word. hed think more like you were the glue.

you held everyone together, but at the same time. you were the one keeping them in the past.

that wasnt what he thought as he read your note though.

while he reading the shaky lines with splotchy text. the tears you left on the paper made it all crumbly and the words were hard to read.

he could only wish you the worst time without him. you better not be happier than you were with him. thats how you made him feel. he felt like the vines growing around the fence around you. his growth was hindered by the boundaries you had. if you werent there, he wouldve probably never grown in the first place, but you were also the reason he couldnt get better.

even as he read the lines 'jongun, you are the one who destroyed me the most.' he felt a small smile come to his face. he really is the most selfish person he knew.

as it turned out, P had fallen off the roof of her house (i have no idea what she was doing in the first place) AND HAD SNAPPED HER NECK, i obviously screamed, who wouldnt, now i went from being the most popular girl in school to an outcast because of this

i need to share my very horrible idea to combine the reinhard/julius/otto/subaru boy drama into one julius-centric fic

ok so a little while ago ive made all kinds of ottojuli and reinjuli posts and while i havent finished all my major julisuba posts Yet i am quite fond of julisuba also and i think itd be incredibly funny if you just dumped all of these ships into one story. just go ALL IN on that boy drama!!!! go big or go home amirite!!!! the worlds WORST love trapezoid youve ever seen!!!!

this post is just me rambling fic ideas bc i sadly dont have time for Every Fic Idea and also i just. i just think itd be funny putting multiple ships with the same person in them into one fic. on a serious level its like mimicking real life relationships where sometimes people come and go and you have different dynamics with each person!! on another level i just think this is also very funny so!! here we go. under the cut:

anyway so my idea for this is that you know, julius of course meets reinhard when hes ten and reinhard is eight and then it alters julius's brain chemistry. at first he's in complete awe of reinhard. and then over time the shame starts setting in. that julius isnt as strong as reinhard. and the jealousy sets in a bit too, so julius's got this chip in his shoulder trying to carry his family's legacy and trying to carry the weight of knighthood to be as perfect as possible. to be as close to reinhard as he can. they meet again in their teens and julius shows reinhard the ropes of like basic knight stuff bc reinhard just joined the knights. and of course reinjuli become friends but julius has spent his whole life quietly watching reinhard from afar and now julius still has that distance with reinhard even as theyre supposedly friends now. reinhard is a God, you know? his powers and his leash from the kingdom and his family keep him distant and the two of them are ignoring that. classic homoerotic "do i want him or want to be him" friendship where both of you are too scared to get any closer for various reasons with a Twist (reinhard's very real monster complex that keeps getting validated bc Everyone Around Him thinks hes a monster).

anyway but then julius remembers that you know, shit between reinhard and him wont work out for many reasons, like reinhards family deciding to torment julius at various points in his life (heinkel, whos julius's boss, and reid, who went from julius's childhood idol to. you know.), and also reinhard needs to have kids because hes the sword saint, and also homophobia exists in rezero. and also even if those werent all obstacles julius still has his Complexes connected to reinhard and they got that distance between them so. no go. (repression gets in the way of relationships :((( )

also quick side note is that ex 4 happens and julius reinhard ferris go to vollachia and julius interrupts a meeting with vincent vollachia himself to go "I UNDERSTOOD THAT LITERARY REFERENCE YOU JUST MADE. THATS A REALLY GOOD REFERENCE I LIKED IT A LOT" bc hes a massive nerd and ig this is slightly-more-of-a-disaster-gay julius au so julius is like ............................. vincent was kinda cool for that.

AND THEN SUBARU CRASHES INTO JULIUS'S LIFE and julius is like seeing this guy who's also got a chip in his shoulder and then he insults the knights and says the knights are all depending on their dads (nepotism) and julius is like .......the chip in my shoulder was bad enough and also youre kinda like me fr. and you are clearly a fucking misguided kid so now i have to save your ass. i cant NOT save your ass. and reinhards like "julius and subaru nooo you dont have to do this :((((" and julius cant admit atm that hes also doing this to save subarus life so julius is just like "he disrespected the knights >:(((("

but yes we all know what happened there. julius saves subarus life. julius has to slice subarus throat in that one failed loop. they become friends across several timelines. they also homoerotically share souls, you know, typical bromance things, rivals to lovers except subarus the one going YOURE MY RIVAL and julius is like he is SUCH an upstart. hes really grown on me like a fungus but thats the appeal. and julius i think sees subaru as like a kindred spirit (or at least thats how i interpret julisuba) except subaru is like way more freer than julius is. same desire to prove yourself but subarus not restraining himself constantly like julius. its sometimes to the point of recklessness and general stupidity and what have you, but his boldness and bravery and determination and heart really is admirable.........................

yeah so anyway julius falls for ANOTHER guy again, you know how it is sometimes. the heart wants what it wants and julius is cursed to always have the worst meetings with his closest friends. and of course julius gets heartbroken bc wtf i have to kill my new friend :((( noo!!!! but in the finished loop its like. oh subaru...... hes really improved himself. hes grown so much already. hes kind of. inspirational really. idk how he does it. except subarus you know got that Mystery to him the same way reinhard does (theyre traumatized and Cant Take About It Normally so they just randomly lore drop what they can) and also subarus SUPER into emilia. and julius is like .................... well. subarus taken. haha. and reinhards. taken. fuck me. fuck. and like somethings going on with subaru and rem and emilia right. fuck. and subarus got his whole toxic masculinity / gender crisis..... and he doesnt know hes Bisexual yet...... man. what a loss for julius amirite haha.

and also subarus busy after arc 3........... and julius has no idea whats happening there but that seems Real serious :(( and julius's got other things to attend to so he hopes subaru reaches out to him eventually..... or that they cross paths again since subarus in the emilia camp and julius is in ana camp (and of course reinhard is in felt camp and like that was a whole debacle bc wtf. reinhard, u do know thatd be a big deal to our mutual friend felix?). so. julius pines from afar ONCE AGAIN HAHA.

(also of course subarus still attracted to reinhard here. its um. well julisuba can bond now over pining over reinhard but thats for later also!!)

anyway of course during arc 3 julius briefly runs into some gray haired merchant twink thats being dragged around by subaru bc ana camp rescued this guy from a cave somewhere??? and this new guy and subaru made a deal or whatever so he was just helping out in the background of the fight against sloth??

and whaddya know................ julius goes to drink at a bar bc you know he probably tastes wine for fun in his free time (hes definitely Fond of wine anyway iirc) and now hes Sad over the Ones That Got Away so. bar it is. and gray haired merchant twink is there!! no way. they start talking a bit casually while drinking you know and julius's taste is Unfortunately either the graceful ones (anastasia, because julius has great taste in women) or the cringe fail ones (all the twinks - except for felix - that julius keeps having the wildest first meetings with, because julius has slightly shit taste in men) so julius is like huh this otto guys kinda funny lol. endearing in a weird way!! and -

oops they both end up being a little. they make a little bit of a move on each other. bc they were drinking and got a Bit tipsy. ottos Also not over the one that got away (subaru) (again) and hey. the finest knight truly is. Fine. objectively fine. totally. so you know. things get a little out of hand, maybe they do a bit of cringe fail flirting hidden underneath five million layers of repression and the Horrors of Being Known but ultimately they both embarrass themselves somehow (read: how far they went with each other while under the influence is up to you) and agree to Never Speak of This Again bc oopsies they were both technically each other's first time being Straightforwardly Not Straight with another man. oops. anyway julius has to go back to his camp and otto fucking bolts but he bolts right into subaru and gets his ass dragged into sanctuary drama.

julius is totally not a little bit envious about that.................... about otto getting to accompany subaru to sanctuary... but dont worry julius!! youll get to make up for it later!! bc eventually arc 5 stuff happens. and julius is Glad to see reinhard and subaru again. even with all the Baggage. and subaru is of course Weird about julius but eventually subaru reassures julius after they both confide in each other about the astrea drama (theyre honorary astreas via being dragged into the astrea family mess). and subarus reassuring to julius in a whole new way okay. subaru, whos unrestrained and incapable of being on the down low about anything, and julius, whos always holding himself back with a gazillion layers of repression, starts learning to let go a bit...

but also juliotto meet again. its terribly awkward and they both agreed to never speak of their awkward encounters again. subaru is going ??? and reinhard is clueless. otto then also goes to save reinhard and felt from heinkel trying to take felt hostage, which was also terribly awkward but reinhard and felt are grateful about it (but lbr if reinhard and otto knew each other deeper reinhard would maybe be a little. Apprehensive. around otto while otto would be sympathetic with reinhard bc hes like male emilia). but then while otto manages not to get erased by gluttony....... julius gets erased. of course. which you know results in being forgotten by reinhard in julius's THIRD first meeting ever with reinhard. and subarus the only one who remembers him of course.

then arc 6 happens :,))))) and julius of course has to confront his ideas of knighthood, his identity, his self esteem, and who he is outside of His Name. and also julius gets his ass beat by reid. his childhood idol. who reinhard KNEW was a shitty person but never ever told julius (whether this is because reinhard wanted to spare julius's hero worship or because reinhard never got the chance to tell julius is hard to say lajdsf). but julius does get to triumphantly win in the end!! grow as a person!!! learn to undo a bit of that repression and not hold himself to impossible standards all the time!! hes growing still!!! hes finally solidified his friendships with people like subaru and emilia!! hes remaking his relationship with anastasia!! hes asserted himself, hes planning on going to meet reinhard again one day and duel him!! things are looking up even if its still bittersweet that he doesnt have his name back yet!! does this mean?? perhaps?? a HAPPY ENDING?? julius can have the two men (reinhard and subaru) he admires the most in his life?????? as friends???? or as boyfriends?????? slowburn mutual pining????????????????????????????????????????

and then comes. arc 8 otto. that piece of shit.

julius is very much someone who has to grapple with the weight of the expectations that people throw at him. and also reinhard is someone who May envy julius a bit, but there's also you know, joshua and subaru with the Explicit Envy and (past) resentment because theyre placing heavy expectations on julius!! theyre pointing blame at julius!! julius is trying to find himself outside of stuff like that, especially after arc 6, but he's still got stuff to work on you know? he still has duties to fulfill!! loyalty that he has to act on bc hes gotta help subaru and co in arc 8!! and then in comes otto.

otto is also someone with expectation placed on him, but its Different. ottos mostly a nobody and when hes Not a nobody, his reputation tends to be Derogatory. hes a menace. hes a bad luck charm. hes grappling with the fact that he has to keep being left behind - post-arc 5 bc he was injured, but also repeatedly during arcs 7 and 8 because hes too physically weak to be on the same playing field as emilia or garfiel or subaru on the battlefield. he feels Useless after placing his identity on the expectation that hes Dependable and Useful.

julius is a bit more on even ground with otto now that julius is. also mostly a nobody bc his name is still gone. and also julius had to deal with having that part of his identity crushed. julius tried to be useful over and over in arc 6 only to get his ass repeatedly curb stomped by reid in the beginning. he was a nobody. he wasnt dependable anymore. and also otto is that one guy he had a Passing Fling with over having The Ones Who Got Away and julius was still vaguely hopeful about maybe being pals at least but ottos brushed him off a bit since arc 5. theyre like each others secrets you know? and now otto doesnt know that shit - julius is the only one who Knows - and otto also hates julius's fucking guts now. over SUBARU. and julius has been through this whole rodeo clown circus with arc 3 subaru so this is an absolutely terrible ride through memory lane.

and this is julius's THIRD twink that hates him for terribly unfair reasons. julius is very tired and a bit heartbroken in this au trying to pretend it doesnt bother him. on one level it doesnt. bc ottos pathetic and clearly Overcompensating for Something. on another level it kinda does bc julius had a Thing going with otto. and otto is the complete opposite of julius. like hes different from the other guys julius has liked.

julisuba is about complimentary opposites - they appear Extremely Different at first glance but theyre very similar. theyre people who try to look and act bigger than they are, people who keep reaching to be The Best, to be Perfect, because theyre overcompensating. theyre worried their entire identity is only built off of trying to be bigger than the shadow that other people in their lives (like their families) cast. but they cant reach perfection. and julius is like subaru but if subaru tried to really make himself "refined" - if he tried to stop putting his heart on his sleeve all the time. reinsuba are very similar too. theyre very refined knights who try to keep themselves in check at all times while the weight of the world is on their shoulders. they cant have a hair out of place. except julius is like the "smaller" version of reinhard. julius is less powerful. its like comparing a human and a "god" - reinhard, whos untouchable. but its a double edged sword, because julius gets to be a normal person, because half the expectation placed on him is also purely from himself, while reinhard isnt. reinhard isnt Free. hes on a leash by the kingdom and his family. julius even gets his kind of "celebrity" status stolen from him via the loss of his name. hes truly kind of Normal now - julius is like if reinhard didnt have his crazy abilities and had a little more of a chance to be free.

otto? yeah otto is. very very far from all of that. hes so obviously imperfect that most of his reputation, when its brought up, is just him being known as a mess who's caused various forms of chaos everywhere he goes. either that or hes just. There. Invisible. very very average. and otto is someone who wants a nice comfortable life, someone who wants to fit in - julius and subaru arent Exactly like that, and while reinhard also wants to be normal, ottos the one who has more of an opportunity. but he doesnt. because otto Dooms Himself by being recklessly cutthroat. otto is like if subaru was just. More of an asshole, so ottojuli would just be a rather Extreme Challenge for julius to have to deal with HAH. and normally otto is someone who repays how people treat him - a very "you treat me like this, i'll treat you the same way in turn" kind of deal, except ottos developed a vendetta against julius and its basically like if subaru never let go of his arc 3 julius vendetta.

yes so anyway. etc etc stuff probably happens but i ran out of ideas lajdlfjasdf i just think combining ALL the boy drama and recontextualizing + adding to canon would be. batshit crazy. and terribly entertaining. im so sorry julius but i want to see you crack a bit under the pressure. reinjuli as a ship is like tragic gay yearning that never goes anywhere past being friends with quiet homoerotic tension, then julisuba is. you know. extreme rivals to lovers, starts out Rough but then ends up being super super sweet and theyre Trying their best underneath the self esteem issues. and then ottojuli is. toxic yaoi at its finest (pun intended). you get Every flavor of mlm possible!!

ok so you may be asking "ok what would you even name this fic then" and to that i say that this would be called To All the Boys I've Loved Before.

anyway i really wanna write this idea someday ill inform you guys (if youre reading this and are Interested) if it ever happens :< so. in conclusion this is just julius the entire time throughout all of these events:

I think what I'm mad about is the removal of underlying tragedy in his story in mk12. Yes, bi-han was, is, and will always be a villain/an antagonist/the "bad" sub zero to counterpart kuai liang's "good" sub zero/scorpion's tormentor in one way or another/"evil" BUT. previously there was nuance that is missing in his mk12 storyline. Its not a good or bad thing per say, I just lament that bc of that, people wont know even less of that nuance.

In previous timelines, bi-han was what the lin kuei was, he wasnt "evil" on his own, he was just the perfect representation of what his clan was because he was shaped by it. His own ambition wasnt really adressed, if he even had any. He was just a cold professional.

Its even more supported in mk: mythologies, the events happen because he has a job to do, not because he wants to. And when things go south he actually goes and fix his mistakes. He also both kills (hanzo) and spares (sareena) people in this game.

It's also now that I realize BOTH sub zero brothers dont really... start stuff. Things happen to them and they react to it but big events dont really happen because of their actions. They're both pretty passive. (and yes even killing scorpion. It happens bc of the clan rivalry. Not really bc bi-han has personal beef with hanzo)

It's when he's killed and become noob saibot that he becomes fully evil thanks to the corruption of his soul, and the focus on his own ambition is then pushed forward. But that's not an accurate representation of who bi-han was. Here's some confirmation from mk:deception

anyway long story short, in the previous timelines:

Bi-han (alive): neutral

Noob saibot: evil

And outside of mythologies, we have seen very little of neutral bi-han

Now in mk12: bi-han's ambition is THE FIRST THING about his character, its his drive. The lin kuei is also no longer smth he is appart of, HE IS the lin kuei, where he goes the lin kuei follows, and not because of his skills (and that wasnt smth ever implied in mk12) but by birthright, so his path to """evil""" is his own path and not something he was forced into. So in other words, its his own choice, there's not something inherently tragic about his situation from lack of agency like it was before.

And it's not inherently a bad thing like. It works in the story. It's okay if this bi-han is """"""evil"""""" from day 1. Bi-han has to be an antagonistic force (but when put in comparaison to other characters like mileena who's a protagonist and whose defining rivalry with kitana has been erased its mmmmmmh kinda unfair. But im not here for that. Thats my own bias). Before in previous timelines he was part of a small, unrelated to everything else (for the most part) sidestory, he was legit just a guy, but now he is part of a larger interconnected one and we NEED antagonists.

But yeah it's like. Despiste being originally a neutral-aligned character, my man gets an awful rep where this part of him is either unknown or ignored and he gets branded evil without knowing fully why. Plus we havent seen much of "neutral" alive bi-han at all and his relationship with his brother has still never been explored as of late. You nudge Laws shoulder.

"What is it (n)-ya" Law asks you quietly.

"I just.. feel someone staring at us" your observation haki was much more developed than Laws and any of the crews. You see him gaze around trying not to look suspicious.

"I dont see anyone (n)-ya" he states. Suddenly you all hear snow crunches from behind a tree. Then out pops a smaller polar bear than Bepo. They walk upright to you all, putting you all on edge.

"Hello there" a female voice emits from the smaller polar bear. All of you in shock you decided to speak first

"Hello who are you?"

"I'm Mimi who are all of you?" She questions.

"This is (n)-ya, Bepo and I'm Law" Law says politely.

"So how are you talking?" You quizzically ask. Mimi then turns into a naked female human as you hold a hand up to Laws eyes not letting him look. You wrap your cloak around her.

see this is the thing i havent got too much in fic but the main reason grian obviously knows he likes scar and vice versa but wont do anything Real about it is like the epitome of the post. in grian's view of self, Everything he is can be summed up and finished at 'mumbo's right hand'. mumbo and scar, they can be somewhat normal, they can be something outside of the business (ignoring all their torture dates), but grian- he cant

grian is mumbo's right hand; mumbo will always be his number one priority, no matter what. he cant- and wont- give anyone else an equal amount of time/care/etc. grian's a facade and sharp edges and the Essence of the business and it doesnt matter what he thinks of scar or what scar thinks of him, that will never change

(this isnt a problem for grian, he prides himself on being Mumbo's Right-Hand as his entire identity, but he knows what it costs the one other person who might want to get close to him)

tbh i definitely vary a lot in how much i agree with Schaffillas but i'm liking his second mcu video lmao

cause like. i wont lie and say i fucking hated every single moment of the mcu. nor do i think theyre the literal death of movies nor do i actually begrudge people wanting or liking iffy-quality easy-to-watch films or tv

but!

i do think that the earlier phases and films themselves were at least a bit better and had more, idk,, heart than some of the stuff i've seen recently.. (even tho i also didnt hate all the new series either) and,

i feel like the idea of having a long convoluted plot that spans multiple movies is Kinda Neat. it's fun to see whether they could pull it off and arguably they did okay for a while

but A) as Schaff said stories are supposed to end eventually. that is what stories do. always having the ending of the film downplayed or undermined slightly because it needs to set up the NEXT film gets kinda just annoying? after a time? like a book that does an overdramatic cliffhanger every single chapter it's like okay we get it. if you need to use this cheap trick to keep me reading so badly then why dont you just get better at writing so it's actually compelling? lol.

and b) i just feel like- with so many cooks in the kitchen and it spanning so many years, eventually the characters don't even look like themselves anymore, the lore gets less consistent, it just gets... messier. which then also undermines the whole premise of following this journey over so many years, like, if they can't even keep the facts and characters straight.

which i also understand might be kind of a Thing with comics (I think. i havent read them much), so on the other hand why would i be mad at a series of movies who are replicating another medium and then turning out similarly to that medium but.

long post ahead (just a sea of thoughts)...

a couple days ago i had a fight with my partner and i said a lot of mean things i didn’t mean to. i was full of rage but as the day was ending i went to see him. he hugged me and i melted. i apologized for hurting him.

“we hurt each other unintentionally” is what he said and it struck to me. he was right we both hurt each other without knowing and end up fighting. i’m glad i made up with him that day too.

unfortunately, my day ended up being fine but his. didn’t. he had another issue that i can’t be a help of.

it has been two?three days? maybe more, i lost count, since we conversed properly. it hurts, a lot. but what can i do? i’m just a twenty three year old girl living with her parents with absolutely no freedom and is reviewing for her board exam. there wasn’t really anything i could do for him. i cant go to him, do you expect me to go to him in the middle of the night to console him? as much as my heart desire to, I CAN’T. 

good thing he had friends that can listen to him and be with him. it is a good thing right? but why do i feel so envious? why do i feel so left out? i wanted to be the one consoling him, the one he shares his problems, his laughter, to be by his side until everything is okay. fck. just fck my life.

i’ve been feeling so tired physically, mentally, and emotionally. what a great combination isn’t it. tired from my effing errands yesterday and i think my bloody ass strong pain reliever still has its effects on me until now (it made me vomit last night too, my hotshots all wasted). i slacked off from reviewing today, i just slept the whole fcking day. my partner’s been updating me which i appreciate but all i could say was “okay love, i love you more” and thats it very unusual of me.

"1,000,000 is right and bet you couldn't even handle me anyways and who cares if I'm blushing at a compliment he was very polite to me" stating you give him the bird then watch where your going and walk into town for supplies. After some hours of making trips to your boat from town, your back in town and see the so called Bepo and walk up to him.

"Hey what was it Bepo? Your Captain's an ass" you state and cross your arms.

"He was just in a bad mood because someone filled the sub with clouds of diarrhea, that's why we resurfaced to air out for a week." Bepo says cutely.

"Gosh your such a cute bear sorry that kinda slipped out" you say blushing then it dissapears.

"Thank you (n)" Bepo says cutely.

"Um is it okay if I hug you? Your just so fluffy I've never met a talking Polar bear before"

"Sure come here" Bepo says embracing you in a hug as you feel eyes on your back once done hugging your look around only to see towns people.

"Thank you Bepo I needed that" you say happily. As you and Bepo chat for the rest of the day.

"Bepo come now" you hear Law yell at him making him waddle up from the bench to the sub.

"See you tomorrow (n) thanks for talking with me" Bepo says waddling off. Law approaches you then as all his crew mates are inside.

"Dont mess with my crew" he states.

"We were just talking. And you dont own them. How did you and Bepo even know who I am anyways?" You question and Law just says Shambles and poofs your wanted poster into his hand and gives it too you.

"What?! 1,000,000 berries I've never actually seen the poster before just heard it from people" you exclaim as you hand it back to him.

'Why does he have my poster anyways?' You ponder as he walks away to his sub. Gusts of wind started to pick up as it started to down pour really hard so you go back to your ship and cuddle in a small blanket it obviously getting wet. The days went as followed your get up eat once a day, talk with Bepo, then huddle in your little blanket in the night pours until one night you felt eyes on you with your observation haki.

"Arnt you cold and wet down there? You'll cetch a terrible cold. Why dont you go to the inn?" You hear Laws voice soften even for just a bit.

"They refused me they said they didnt want any trouble" you just state back shivering. You felt him walk back onto his sub. The next morning was the last day for Bepo and you. This was the closest you had gotten to anyone ever since that day.

"Awe today's your last day I'll miss you and remember you forever Bepo" you say melancholy sneezing as he hugs you on the dock you giggling. Feeling eyes on you yet again you look around only to see Law staring at you both. Law walks back into the sub as Bepo let's you go.

"Could you please wait for me (n)? I'll be back soon" Bepo states as he waddles onto the sub disappearing into it.

'Too bad I could only get supplies that I absolutely needed. I feel so hot you say as you go back to your boat and lay down on the hard planks. The tiny blanket wrapped around you only halfway as you sneeze again from those many nights it rained cold. Feeling weaker and weaker, through the week, you just layed there and fell asleep. Night came and with nights come cold rain. You were soaked through and through sneezing, coughing and shivering. Suddenly you felt lighter someone picking you up. They felt so warm so you leaned into them not caring if you died anymore. Your observation haki not working as well in the rain you let them take you as you shivered cold, wet, and pathetic to look at. Eyes closed the entire time eventually you pass out from fever.

You awaken in what seems to be a medical room with cords attached to you. Feeling much better you sit up only to see...

"Oh so your finally awake you've been out for three days straight" Law states simply as he turned to face you on his rolling chair.

"Why am I here, dont you like, I dont know hate me?" You question as you realize your in his sweatshirt and sweatpants.

"On the contrary, I didnt expect you to be so nice especially with my favorite mink." Law retorted.

"You mean Bepo?" And he just nods.

"Bepo has been begging me all week to recruit you onto the crew. And you were desperately sick I couldn't just let you die. I am a doctor after all. That and your blood work seems a bit off your hormones are quite similar in nature to male and female" he says blankly.

"Here let me do a check up" he states as he unplugs you which causes you to shiver.

"I havent been this close to someone in a long time.." you state quickly.

"You sure enjoyed cuddling and hugging Bepo though." He states coldly a slight blush on his face then it dissapears.

"Bepos different hes so fluffy and so cute!" You squealed catching Law off guard he blushes slightly then it fades quickly. After the check up.

"Your healthy now your free to get up I recommend eating something since it has been three days drink some soup, first at the mess hall" Law states as he gets up and is about to head out the med bay door you grab his hand on accident trying for his wrist.

"Where are we right now?" You question not letting go.

"Were sixty miles of that island we met at" he states as he starts to gain a light blush from the physical contact.

"You fucking kidnapped me?!" You yelled as he tried to unhand himself but your grip was too strong.

"Bepo said you wanted to join take it up with him." Law states and you release his hand his blush disappearing.

'That sneaky big mink' you think to yourself. Getting up you make your way slowly through the subs hallway right behind Law to the mess hall.

"Get her some soup please chef"

"Yes sir Captain" the chef retorts.

"Oh wow you do have manners. Well I guess I should thank you for saving me but I never said I'd join this crew. Your gonna have to ask me yourself Law" you state firmly. He looks at you somewhat annoyed looking to the side.

"(N) will you join us the Heart Pirates?" He reluctantly asks.

"Sure but I'm not wearing that" you point to the boiler suit. With a sigh he says

"Okay deal" then he makes his way back through the hallway.

"Heres your soup miss" chef says.

"My names (N) thank you chef nice to meet you too" you say politely as you turn you spot your favorite polar bear and join him.

"Bepo why did you tell Law that I wanted to join?" Questioning with a red glare in your eyes. Flustered he says

"You just looked so cold and alone I wanted you to join our family"

"Family..." those words you never speak. Your family died from disease long ago when you were five years old that's also when you were starving and ate that strange fruit which you came to know now as a devil fruit. Bepo snapped his paw at you snapping you out of your trance. Sitting down you start eating. Thinking about everything that has transpired. Once done you ask Bepo

"So where will I sleep then?"

"Oh.. you'll be sleeping in my room. I asked Captain all ready before." He says as you smile a bit and hug him.

"Yay!" You squeal.

"Let me show you were our room is" Bepo says as he starts walking you follow. Once inside you realize what little stuff you had was in here, mainly clothes.

'So he brought all my stuff here too. I guess that's sweet.' Thinking to yourself you undress

"Um I wont look dont worry" Bepo says closing the door.

"Oh sorry I was so used to being alone I would just change whenever" you say changing into a white crop top and black shorts.

"I need to return these clothes to him" you say as Bepo opens the door you walk back to the med bay and pop your head in. You see Law doing paperwork. He notices you standing there and questions you

"What is it?"

"I'm assuming these are yours?" You stand in the doorway now holding forward some clothes. As you come into frame he blushes slightly at what your wearing but gets up and takes the clothes.

"Thanks" was all he could muster. As he walked up to his table he said

"Room, Shambles" he teleported out then back into the med bay.

"Woah what devil fruit is that?" You question.

"The Opa-Opa fruit" he goes on to explain what he can do since your part of the crew now and not a threat.

"That's like so super cool you have no idea!" You yell in excitement.

"The way I got it wasnt exciting at all." He states calus.

"Howd you get it?"

"That's enough questions for tonight go to bed" Law states clearly not wanting to talk about his feelings you obeyed after all he was your Captain now.

You and Law have grown quite close in such a short amount of time. Your like him doesnt want to talk about their feelings, put yourself into work too much, and has insomnia. You've grown to like the sameness though. And youd like to think he felt the same but to be honest you have no idea. You became his medical assistant and fighter when needed but hes never seen your devil fruit before mainly hes never asked. Until one lonely night on the ocean the sub has surfaced with everyone asleep you made your way to the deck no one there so you sat down

*snap*

"Silence" as you start singing a melody deep into it you didnt notice the eyes on your back. Suddenly you hear sobbing quickly you turn to see

"Law? Why are you crying? Come here" you stand quickly and embrace him in a hug rubbing his back.

"Shh it's okay just cry it out" after he can cry no longer you whisper

"What's gotten to you?"

"Your devil fruit .. I didnt know you had one.. it's the same as his." Law stutters out.

"Whose?" You question.

"Don Quixote Rosinante.. he was like a father to me for a short time.. he gave his life so that I could live.." Law stutters as you just rub his back.

"Well I like to think that all the previous devil fruit users are within me so maybe he is still there somewhere inside of me." You whisper in his ear causing him to shiver.

'Hes finally opening up. This feeling though I know all too well what I feel for Law. He would never feel the same not since that day' you think as Law tries to compose himself you both eventually talk about both your pasts, until the sun rises from deep in the night.

You and Law are almost inseparable, you two are almost always in the same room besides his bedroom. Tonight's the night you'll tell him. You had sworn to never tell another soul again but he had become so close to you. Of course you feared another rejection but you had at least five days before another island before you were alone again. You just didnt want to lie to him. To betray his trust or feelings. Everyday it tormented you, you had to tell him. Another late night the usual meeting spot on deck in the middle of the ocean. You both sitting quietly enjoying eachothers silence until you break it.

"Law ... theres something I need to tell you..." you say quietly.

"Theres something I need to say as well you go first" he retorts.

"Well are you familiar with an island called Momoiro?" He shakes his head yes.

"I know of the queens powers too" he states.

"Well.. their used their powers on me..... I used to be a male ... but I've been a female for many years now boobs and vaginal stuff in all..." he looks a bit taken aback but after a minute to collect his thoughts he speaks.

'This is it I just know it goodbye Law goodbye Bepo goodbye family' you think as you spiral but continue to look at him as if nothing is happening.

"Well that certainly is something I would have never guessed you were male before. I suppose all that matters is who you are now right?" Taken aback from his response you say

"Arnt you repulsed by me?"

"Actually just the opposite. (N) I dont care who you used to be I only care about who you are now. You've proved yourself more than you know .... and i want you to know it doesnt matter to me. I'm a doctor." You both sit in silence for awhile until Law speaks again

"(N) your a woman from now until the rest of your life right?" You just nod this is what you originally wanted anyways.

"So let me also confess.. I'm in love with you (n). You also have Coras devil fruit it must mean something important." He finishes. Shocked you take a minute to yourself as you compose yourself you begin to speak

"I have felt like this once before but was rejected. I confess that I love you too. I just never ever thought that someone like me would find true love" you start to cry and Law wraps a arm around sliding you onto his lap embracing you closely.

"Shh itll be okay. Your okay (n)" he coos to you and after awhile you cant cry anymore. He tilts your head up with a hand and kisses you gently. As you both break for air you both have cherry red blushes.

"Promise you wont tell anyone?" You plead.

"Tell anyone what?" Law says playing dumb. You both laugh gently as he speaks again

"(N) will you be my girlfriend?" Law asks in a whisper as if youd say no.

"After all that we talked about yes of course I'd love that. You accept me for me I cant thank you enough" you plant your lips back onto his as he leans into the bearing you lean into him with his arms wrapped tightly around you.

You moved into Laws room leaving Bepo alone but he doesnt mind as long as your happy he said. Being Laws girlfriend you helped him with paperwork, surgeries, foraging, and fighting. You both would cuddle everynight.

"I love you Law" you whisper into his ear from on the bed.

"I love you too (n)" he replys back as he wraps his arms around you cuddling together.

"It feels like an eternity I've been with you but it's only been a short amount of time" he says in a whisper.

"That's what love can do Trafalgar" you state making him blush at the mention of his name as one hand plays with his hair and one hand on his chest.
