just got the newest ios update and if they make another ugly disgusting terrible fucking stupid ui change that no one asked for i’m actually going to become violent. i am going to take my phone and bash in the face of every iphone employee above the manager rank.

I DELAY EVERY FUCKING UPDATE AS LONG AS I CAN BECAUSE NO ONE ASKED FOR THIS!!!!! EVERYTHING IS WORSE!!!!!!!!! AT LEAST THE PULL-DOWN SETTINGS THING STILL HAS EVERYTHING IN ROUGHLY THE SAME AREA, WHAT THE FUCK DID THEY DO TO PHOTOS? IF I EVER SEE THE CEO OF APPLE OR WHATEVER HE WILL NOT BE WALKING AWAY FROM THAT ENCOUNTER!!

The sheer hate I have for the iPhone update yesterdayyyyyy. I struggle with change in general, so there’s that. And I just HAPPENED to get a new, thicker phone case same day, which feels weird in my hand, so that was—and still is—a weird change. BUT THAT SAME NIGHT THIS STUPID UPDATE COMES OUT. And usually updates change, like, barely anything.

BUT WHY DID IT HAVE TO CHANGE EVERYTHING. That little screen when you pull down the top of your screen? Changed. The emoji lineup? Changed. Seriously, why did they make them bigger?! I memorized where each one was, but now I have to re-memorize it.

BUT WHY DID THEY HAVE TO CHANGE THE PHOTOS APP. LIKE WHAT IS THIS SHITTT. So many unnecessary buttons, and things to click, AND WHY DID THEY HAVE TO ADD ALL THE EXTRAS UNDERNEATH THE PHOTOS?! It was easier to just click onto a different thing and all that.

I wish they could have at LEAST let you choose to keep the old layout or not. Now I just get pissed off whenever I open any app the update influenced.

my iphone pushed an update and now im having a meltdown, the messages are all a different shade of blue, my little texting widget bar that was basically just a toy to scroll back and forth is gone, the message bar is wider, it changed display stuff in my search engines, typing is a new hell, all of that, i havent even looked other places. if anyone knows how to fix this i'll give you soooo many heart emojis because all i can find is websites boasting about "new features!" "another step towards innovation!" etc etc tech company bullshit, and no help for the autistic bitches who have an emotional connection to the messaging widget bar (<- me. im the autistic bitches. and im crying which should influence your empathy and make you want to help me while i post on tumblr on my computer because i literally couldnt type on my phone without eventually chucking it through a few walls)

AuDHD is so funny sometimes like what do you mean my hyperfixations/special interests will last for years on end or possibly forever but they will cycle out every month or two with absolutely no transitional period or warning. like i will think about the same topic every day obsessively for 46 days in a row and on the 47th day with no visible cause adhd brain goes "ok! bored of that now" and autism brain goes "dw i got something queued up for ya" and i blast into full blown obsession on some other topic whose mental file folders haven't opened in 9 months. brain's out here treating hyperfixations like a crop rotation. once the dopamine runs out it cycles in another one but once something's in the rotation it never ever leaves. last summer we brought in one from when i was 11. it's so funny to me but frustrating too bc like. i cannot stress enough my inability to predict or control this. or how completely abrupt and random it can be
