what if i gaslight my psychiatrist and therapist into thinking i was already diagnosed with autism or that someones already brought it up to me. like what if i just go Yeah my first therapist was pretty sure i was autistic but i never got diagnosed because of money problems. like they cant say that didnt happen. they cant track her down shes in like. missouri or something now so she basically disappeared forever

Oh god I’m freaking out. I really just wanna know what’s up with me and my brain and wether or not to go to a psychiatrist about it.

I just yesterday realized that I have had actual paranoid delusions before. Like the classic “someone has hidden invisible cameras in my house and is watching me all the time” with different variations throughout the years ever since I was in elementary school. What’s really confusing is that most of the time I have insight and I know it’s weird but sometimes if I’m in a really bad mental place I completely lose all insight and I just fully believe that someone I know has bugged my house or that they can read my mind or my diary as I’m writing it etc.

I’m also pretty sure I’ve hallucinated a couple times only auditory and tactile and not very often. Like sometimes I’ll feel my cat climbing onto my bed and resting on my stomach but my cat is actually outside and when I look there’s nothing there. Or twice in my life I’ve heard laughter when there was none and back at my old house I would hear footsteps on the ceiling and tapping on the windows even though there was no upstairs and no trees or bushes ne’er my windows. Idk if those last two still happen because there’s an upstairs and bushes by my windows now so I don’t freak out if I hear those noises anymore.

There have been times in my life that I’ve lost the ability to read and lost all joy in things like art that I care a lot about, but I’ve always thought that was just because I was depressed due to ptsd at the time and now I’m scared it might be a bigger thing.

I’m genuinely freaking out so much but I don’t want to waste mental health professionals time if this isn’t a big deal. Like I don’t have full delusions anymore their usually super brief rarely longer than a month and I almost always have insight now so idk if it’s a big deal? Everyone I’ve told has told me to talk to a professional but my dad said I’m fine and I just have a really good imagination but idk I’m turning 18 I feel like my imagination shouldn’t be so good that I think that goddamn shadow the hedgehog is watching me though an alternate dimension and that I have to act like him because he’ll do something bad if I don’t. (That’s not a joke btw I actually believed that about 5 months ago for the duration of a month in hindsight it’s fucking hilarious tbh even if it was terrifying at the time)

Explanation: start off I think that he really likes your appearance. I think he thinks your hair was pretty cool and he would definitely tease you about being short. I’m sorry you can’t stop it. He definitely would. I see him as kind of closed off unless he’s around his friends, which would kind of be the same as you except you’re more shy version of closed off and he’s more cold version of closed off, but I somehow think that U2 could make it work and once you get through that kind of patchy rough layer of getting to know each other, you guys would be so great together. He would definitely listen to you, rant by your interests and try to understand as much as he can and in return, he would expect you to listen to his hour long rants about anything cars, drag races, car mechanics… I feel like he also kinda understands you reflecting your personality based off, who you talk to. He’s often in his best friend, Sodapops shadow, and I think he would feel super special whenever you went up to him instead of his “more attractive” friend. If you ever drew wrote some thing about me, I think he would probably keep it and cherish it forever after pretending like he doesn’t care that much and then you’d see it up on his like best table or some crap and then be like I thought you didn’t like that and then he’d be like yeah maybe maybe yeah whatever man. He can also be pretty aggressive whenever he gets annoyed at people so I think he’d understand that aspect of your personality and you guys might clash sometimes, but I think that you two would always make it up for each other. He’s also extremely hard to disappoint as a guy. I think he’s pretty low maintenance so you wouldn’t need to worry about that and he would let me know if you disappointed him in someway, but I don’t think he’s a grudge holder. ok idk how right or correct this is BUT. re: losing the yippee voice from T Puberty - i had the same worry!!! i am not transmasc, but NB and i like my voice as it is personally bc i can still hit those high notes (i need them to express my autism thoughts like Yippee and Wahoo)! BUT i voiced these to a friend who HAS been on T for a good few years by now - he told me that a lot of the voice transitioning has to do with training as well and supposedly itd be possible to like. keep a somewhat higher-pitched voice on T and still be able to Access the Yippee noises while your voice naturally deepens depending on how you train your voice. He did however say that not a lot of people really do this so there is not much like... resources on this idea/notion BUT ITS A NICE COMFORTING THOUGHT I THINK!!! hands this ask to you :)
