This somehow results in discovering that the Red Hood is his best friend’s supposedly dead son.

Oliver doesn’t know how he’s going to fix this, with Jason refusing to want anything to do with either Bruce or the Batman of Gotham (who everyone knows is dating the former)… but one thing’s for sure:

He needs to bring the kid home. Oliver can’t bear to watch Bruce suffer any longer when the cause for it is sitting at his kitchen table, alive, and stuffing his face with waffles.

In his hotel room that night, Daniel thinks back to the interview he just had with the two most notorious men in the world. More than half of it was unusable, just lots of muffled sounds and--

It had started with a joke online that he (no one important) would love to interview the infamous Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. Two men famously in hiding in a country with no extradition but chronically online. Someone had reached out to him and he thought it was fake, a scam.

He'd eventually found himself in a place he couldn't name in front of the men who were way hotter in person than fugitives had any right to be.

The interview was stilted, impersonally. Max had almost refused to answer any questions and Lewis had been teasing him. Daniel had been annoyed because why bring him all the way out here to sit in a room and stare at each other.

Max had snorted and said he didn't trust him to not have a wire.

"Mate, your guys searched me before I came in here. Y'all took my phone for 24 hours and I only got it back when I came in this room. If I was wearing a bug, you'd know." Daniel had pointed out.

"he has a point." Lewis shrugged. Max pressed his lips together. And Daniel stood with a roll of his eyes.

"I mean you clearly don't trust the people around you to do a good job." Daniel pulled off his shirt and unbuckled his pants, smirking when Max looked like he was finally paying attention. "if you want me to get naked then all you had to do was say so."

He stripped to his briefs and stood in front of them with his hands out as if to say 'well?'

"all of it." Max nodded for him to continue. Lewis bit his cheek but didn't refute.

With a waggle of his brows and confidence he kinda sorta felt, Daniel dropped trow. Throwing his brightly coloured briefs onto the pile of clothes. "Do you want me to spread my cheeks and cough too?" He teased.

And well, Max had done a thorough job of 'inspecting'. And then Lewis had helped and there was lube and come everywhere and Daniel forgot his phone was recording and he didn't get dropped off at his hotel til three days after.

Ok you know what's kinda funny about "Jackson's Diary", or rather "plot twist-y"?

So, ok, imma be honest, when I started the comic I thought it was bl or lgbt or something. Be it the art or the description or the fact that everything I read is gay, I thought this was some kind of enemies to lovers/as magic stuff is going on around the school or something

I really thought the 2 mains were gonna end up together

And I wasn't the only one who thought that cause a lot of the comments were talking about it

But no. Soon you realize they're all very straight, exer is still in love with his ex girlfriend and Jackson kinda gets in a love triangle with exer's ex and the girl exer bullied last year. Also it's set in like- the 80s? Soo. They probably don't know what gay is. (Or they ignore it yknow)

But....

"Wasn't David bi in the canvas version?" said the comments "Yeah he was I think he liked Exer"

So then I'm trying to figure out if he's bi, and some chapters later he's literally making heart eyes around exer but like, in the background

And he's not that important at the time so I'm like oh ok great he's the comedic relief stereotypical gay character?

And exer is like... straight and in love with David's twin sister so nothing will happen right?

Like 100 chapters later and this is Exer's reaction to David saying they're friends

Also ok, I know my post is focused around the gay romance here, but like the comic is really interesting I do recommend it

Jackson goes to a new school and he is the only one who can see some kind of "green magic" messing around with his daily life

Shit happens, he makes friends, he gets into love triangles as I mentioned before (not for that long, thankfully) he gets into fights and makes new friends again

The characters are all very interesting, I was gonna say nice, but then realized half of them are assholes, currently it seems like they're trying to be better people tho

And even though it's set in the 80s it seems most of the main characters were accepting of the lgbt ones (well ok so far 2 people know about it so yknow, ) the only assholes were some bullies literally called Rick and Marty who used gay as a slur or something like 50 chapters ago

Well, and I can't really say anything much without spoiling more, I've already talked enough about their sexualities I'm not telling you what's happening with the green stuff

Everyone in Hawkins high thinking Tommy and Steve are together because yeah they both have girlfriends.

But everyone's seen how Tommy looks at and trails after Steve like a lovestruck puppy.

And than Billy shows up and first everyone thinks Tommy's cheating on Steve with Billy.

Come to find learn the fallout of their fight.

And think Billy's the rebound.

But than Billy looks at Steve like that, so is it actually that Billy is dating Steve now?

But Tommy's trailing after him... So it gets settled on maybe they're all together? Good for them.

Also just Steve having no idea about any of this because man was too busy nursing several concussions.

And like hell are Tommy and Billy gonna tell him, or anyone else for that matter.

So when Billy dies everyone's giving Steve their condolences and he's just so confused.

Like...I know we were on the basketball team together but this is werid.

Also also, Tommy knew and refuses to even acknowledge the rumours.

Nancy and Jonathan both heard them, but decided not to say anything. A let Steve come to us if he wants to talk approach.

Steve doesn't find out until Robin tells him after everything.

Makes a comment that she's glad she can be out to him and that "Yeah, I thought you'd be okay with it cos of the whole Billy Tommy thing but you never know."

"... The what?"

Robin: explains

Steve:..That's why no one wanted to date me!

Robin: amused That's what you're getting out of this? Not that everyone thought you were in a relationship with two guys?

Steve: That's whatever, oh man they must think I'm some home wrecker or some shit.

Robin: snorts Home wrecker?

Steve: Well yeah, I apparently had two boyfriends and I was still trying to get dates.

Robin: Well, it would've made a good cover. Especially if no one was supposed to know.

A romcom ending for Tedependent:

Ted and Trent paralleling Amanda and Graham from The Holiday during the final scenes of s3:

Ted tells Trent he's leaving, going back to his life in Kansas. And Trent understands, despite wishing he could see where their flirting and long looks would've taken them.

But before Ted's cab leaves, without any hope, but still believing in the impossible, in Ted, Trent tells him that if he changes his mind he'll be at the Crown & Anchor that night with Roy and Beard.

Ted makes it all the way to the airport and through security before realizing what he truly wants is to stay in Richmond, with the team, with Beard, and...with Trent.

The last scene is Ted walking into the pub. Eyes searching the shifting crowd, Ted finally sees him.

And somehow at that exact moment, possibly even an intervention from the romcom gods, Trent looks up and locks eyes with Ted's hopeful gaze.

And with their eyes softening and their smiles widening, the music crescendos and the credits roll. ~Fin~
