Kuroshitsuji collab with familymart. You can win one of four file folder designs if you buy two of the ice creams listed in the same transaction. While supplies last.
(Shitty screenshot of a shitty snapchat my friend send me to taunt me bc I have to leave for Japan a few days later than him lol. He says he’s only seen it in one or two familymarts so I’m wondering if they’re already mostly gone…)

I wonder if dude bros will ever learn that there are other great shonen anime out there that are not published in Shonen Jump. Also that shonen is not the only genre of anime and manga that exists and they need to expand their enjoyment of manga and anime outside of the latest popular shonen.

I mentioned this to Aril last night but I think it's so funny how I (an Ortho Shroud fictive) became host and made the body look more like Ciel Phantomhive than our actual Ciel fictive did.
There's more nuance to this than I'm adding right now but having the Host Who Kins aiming to look more similar to them than the Host Who Is A Fictive is just. Silly to me hehe

Hello hello! I watched Whitepine and now I'm insane! I also watched a theory video! I'm very insane and I need to ramble as to what I think is going on
Theory will be under read more, spoilers ahead
First things first:
Who is mrs. Hemlocke, and how long has she been dead?
So, some things to establish the estimated time period:
- steam locomotives and steam engines are around (meaning it's past the year 1712)
- The colour black may be associated with the mourning period (early roman period til the 20th century, now very well known because of Queen Victoria, who mourned her husband for 4 decades til the the early 1900's and wore black daily)
These bring us to a rather specific time frame between 1712 and before the 20th century
Black doesn't seem to be a very 'fashionable' colour, as the theory video I watched relied quite heavily on the idea that the Hemlocke family is in mourning. While the idea in of itself isn't a bad idea, I heavily disagree with this notion for 3 simple reasons:
1. The family isn't in ACTUAL mourning! They wear black clothes, yes, but there's no other indication they're in active mourning. They wear colours not permitted by the mourning rules created by Queen Victoria (assuming they're in England due to the name Whitepine and the general outlay of architecture), which was from 1861 til 1901 iirc, which is a HIGHLY likely time period they were in. Zam participates in hunting, the household isn't in mourning (the women aren't wearing any amount of mourning regalia, ie, veils, jewelry, full black attire, similar with the men), the HEAD BUTLER doesn't tell Ivory about the passing of the hear mistress (which MEANS the mourning period is long over and the topic is dead at this rate, Ivory doesn't need to be a genius to figure out why the mistress is never mentioned), Izzy permits Ivory to be the piano, so on and so forth
2. Serapter doesn't know why the piano room was empty. Her death was before his time, and he seems plenty adult to me.
3. There were no search parties (if she had disappeared), there were no funeral arrangements, no active mention of her or her recent passing, and black clothes are not an indication of a mourning period.
These, to me, are clear signs that the family, at least the children, have long moved on.
Now, how long has mrs. Hemlocke been dead?
Well.
Let's look at the Hemlocke children. So far, we only know that Pyro is the oldest, with the others having to clear indication of when they were born. But, to me, the Hemlocke children all seem to be of a similar age. There are no tutors or extra teachers for the women to learn etiquette, Zam goes hunting and invites Pyro with him, they seem to go out semi regularly as known bacherlors (as none of the children are married), and seem to have a close bond with how they interact with one another
None of the children seem teenage-d to me, but we'll see as the show progresses
In my mind, mrs. Hemlocke died when the youngest was a few months old. It makes the most sense with how the family and household act around her death and items. The piano was moved but is still taken care of. It's tuned with no obvious dust, out of sight and out of mind but with instructions to keep it in good shape
Izzy easily absolves the previous order to not let anyone touch the piano, meaning it's been long enough where she finds it doesn't matter if someone plays it, and as Clown mildly implies, it seems that the order was given by Zombie, as he advises Ivory to not make too much noise
Obviously, as mrs. Hemlocke was the mistress of the estate, all the older staff would have been relatively fond of her and followed whatever wish Zombie made about her items, but as Serapter doesn't even seem to know as to what some of the rooms are for (like the piano room), and that he 'forgot [the piano] was down there,' quite heavily implies her death was wayyyy before his time
To compress: Mrs. Hemlocke died perhaps decades ago, to a point where none of the household is in mourning and have seemingly moved on, with new servants being unaware of the affects her passing had on the family (ex. Serapter)
Who killed Mistycat, and why do people think it's the forest?
I personally think the forest has got absolutely nothing to do with Mistycat's death, and that there's a different perpetrator at hand with no supernatural element. I'll explain after this segment as to why the forest is such a focal point to Ivory, but for now:
The forest is an ominous 'character' and looming figure during the whole episode. Multiple shots include Ivory spacing out and simply staring at the woods in some sort of trauma reaction
The forest is ominous, dense and is eerie due to the atmosphere
Forests are easy ground to get lost in and die
Supernatural activity can easily be tied with a supernatural forest
Misty's death is sudden and seems out of nowhere after a bit of a long shot with the woods
From Misty's injuries, it seems like the attack was quite violent, but it's not above that she fell down the stairs after being attacked. The injuries on the back of her head could suggest a blunt force blow, while the rest of her injuries were amassed from her tumbling down the stairs, which would draw someone to check out what happened, and of course, then the freak out
Do I have an idea as to who it could be? No. Fuck no lol, I'm not a psychic, I just don't think it's supernatural for now. There's absolutely zero reason as to why a supernatural entity would be killing the household now and not then
Why is the forest such a big deal, and Ivory's behaviour
Now. Hear me out on this: Ivory is from a cult like environment, where a settlement was in a similar forest, quite like the surrounding area of Whitepine
Her behaviour, past being autistic, is very submissive, with a fear of authority, the fear of disobeying orders to such an extent that she asks a fellow coworker permission to go outside, and a general reclusive behaviour that I associate with a want to conform and not cause issues for the ones in power
Obviously, all of these can be attributed to Ivory's implied autism, but I think it makes more sense with Ivory's behaviour towards the woods and other people
She seems afraid of talking, saying anything outside of what is asked of her, and even then, she struggles greatly and panics about being in trouble to a near panic attack level. Her dissociation with the sight of forests seems trauma related, along with the buzzing noise she gets after people rush to see why someone screamed
She seems afraid but in an abstract sense. She stares for seemingly hours after being dismissed her first day, just staring at the woods that caused her to zone out first thing
It's not normal behaviour. Even from a neurodivergent standpoint in my opinion. Her anxiety seems to come from an outside place, and Minutetech not knowing anything about her, past where he found her and what she did on the train ride gives me the impression she ran away from her cult, and now associates forests with them, causing her to have bad reactions when on edge or stressed
And that was it! Thank you for the read, hope you enjoyed my unhinged thoughts!!

GRELLE SUTCLIFFE from BLACK BUTLER
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
JUSTIFICATION:
"(mentions of suicide) grelle is a trans woman in victorian england! you can imagine how wonderful her life must be! shes a reaper, and in the kuro universe, a reaper is made when a human kills themselves. its punishment for throwing away your life; you have to forever live in this purgatory of reaping souls, knowing that you can never truly have the satisfaction of death. grelle constantly calls herself a lady and uses feminine terms for herself (ie actress, as well as comparing herself to juliet from romeo and juliet), and in response, everyone around her calls her a perverted man (of course, she isnt perfect—she can be pushy with her flirtatiousness, but always backs off after enough rebukes). with that factoring in with the fact that she will be "alive" forever, shes constantly reminded that she'll never be a woman in the eyes of the world. the poor girl dreams of transitioning, claiming that the thing she wants most is a sex change, and that she thinks god made a mistake in creating her to be a man." - @pop-roxs

And in case y'all are confused by the terminology because you're not terminally online weebs:
Shota = Male Characters who look like prepubescent or pubescent boys, regardless of age, often with "cute" features. Shotas include actual child characters, but also any teen or adult who is indistinguishable from a child in anime.
Examples of non-child "shota" characters include - Honey-senpai from Ouran, who's 17 in the anime and 18 in the manga
Tumblr media
Chilchuck from Dungeon Meshi, who's 27, but considered middle aged for his race, and a father of 3
Tumblr media
Loli = Female characters who look like prepubescent or pubescent girls, regardless of age, often with "cute" features. Lolis include actual child characters, but also any teen or adult who is indistinguishable from a child in anime.
Examples of non-child "loli" characters include:
This lady who's apparently a 42 year old mother of 4
Tumblr media
And there are so many other ones but the one I know personally is the one from Kyo Kara Maoh, who's an 800 year old shrine maiden
Tumblr media
And of course Futaba, who's just the best character (from My Senpai is Annoying), a 23-year old office worker who's in love with her gigantic senpai
Tumblr media
Related terms: Bishōnen and Bishōjo
I mostly steer clear of the lolisho stuff because it's not my jam, but it's not hard to avoid something when you know EXACTLY WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE and it's funny to me how many people will try to deny certain lolishos and use the "legal loli" "legal shota" excuse (ie; UM ACTUALLY THEY'RE AN ADULT!!!!)
It's like watching people claim Black Butler isn't shota bait made by a shotacon mangaka. Sometimes I worry y'all are blind.

Are their other bugs with pupils like a Mantis?
Yep! This feature is often called the pseudopupil and it occurs, the way I understand it, when the ommatidia (the individual segments you can see that make up a compound eye) absorb light when viewed head-on while ones at other angles reflect the light.
Apart from mantises, this can be observed notably in insects like damselflies, froghoppers, and leafhoppers, among other species.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Image Sources: ResearchGate, Marguerite A. Butler, and Photosynthesis-In-Nature | Image IDs: A set of figures showing the eyes of a red and black damselflies, followed by a greenish brown and black froghopper /End IDs.]
and it can also be observed in crustaceans like fiddler crabs and mantis shrimp.

[Image Sources: fiddlercrab.info, Chris Lukhaup, and Michael Bok | Image IDs: A photo showing the blue eyes of a green, blue, and brown fiddler crab, followed by another photo of a multicolored mantis shrimp /End IDs.]
Yet more insects have a multitude of similarly dark spots as well rather than just one, including some wasps! You may hesitate to call this many spots "pupils" though.

One way to have "diverse" characters in you story without sounding preachy or woke is to avoid making the antogonist a strawman of whatever political faction you consider """"evil""""""
For example, if my character is a trans man, there is no way, the antagonist would be Mr. or Mrs. Transphobe.
That´ll be boring and predictable.
The absolute best way to do diversity (if you must) is to write a character first, then just make them black, trans, gay, or whatever. And yes, to have the antagonist be a character also that isn't just a stand in for homophobia or racism or whatever. Boring and predictable, like you said.
I remember after The Butler became a hit, Lee Daniels said he wanted his next movie to be an action film with a gay male protagonist. The way he described it made it sound like a straight forward, typical action movie, just with the main character having a male love interest instead of a female one. It never got made, as far as I know, but I think back on it from time to time and wonder if that could have been a "diverse" movie done right. Where the focus is on the plot and the characters and the action and the diversity stuff is just one facet of the character, instead of literally the entire character and the main focus of the movie. Sadly, these days, it's almost impossible to trust that anything with "diverse" characters isn't going to be filled with woke writing and the same diversity committee approved plot points we see in basically everything these days. One of the reasons I'm still mad that Netflix canceled Archive 81 is because it was a series with a black lead who was a fully realized character, and his race never came into the story at all. Yes, the rich white man ended up being the bad guy, but there was nothing racial about it. It was just a casting decision. That character could have been any race or either gender and the character would have been exactly the same. Same with the protagonist. To me, that's what writing should be. Unless the story is specifically about a certain race or gender (ie, you probably shouldn't write a race-neutral MLK biopic) then the race or gender of the characters shouldn't come into play within the story at all.

I find it so interesting that with in the twist universe, the boys write things out in English and not Japanese. For instance, the Valentines Day cards having been written in English as well as the contract in the Octavinelle commercial. It feels very deliberate. As if to indicate that they are foreign and don't necessarily speak the same language, but the writers also want us to still understand what's being written so they write it in English. Idk I just think it's a neat way of depicting this without having to go full Tolkien.
Mmm, that's definitely an interesting topic 🤔 Most fantasy media doesn't go out of its way to invent entirely new languages for its use (I only know of Devil is a Part Timer! doing it). It's actually difficult to come up with an entirely new language; you don't just come up with substitutions for words, but also new meaningful symbols, pronunciations, grammar and syntax which governs how the and sounds, words can be arranged, and social rules for the language's use. It's just easier to use a preexisting language and then to come up with some excuse for why we can understand them (typically because of magic doing the translating for us, or plain old suspension of disbelief). In the case of TWST, I think there's a number of reasons why they decided to utilize English for its writing system:
Firstly! The main setting for the game, Night Raven College, is modelled after a British boarding school and England's education system in general. With such English roots, it only "makes sense" for the characters to also write in English. If we consider that Yana herself is involved with TWST, "English" is also an aesthetic that is very suited to her skillset, especially considering her other very popular work, Black Butler. (She really was a perfect pick for the job, huh?) Secondly! If TWST's intention always was to go international someday (which it has), English is a safe bet to go since it's considered a "global" or "universal" language. Not everyone knows it of course, but it's the closest thing we have to a "common" tongue, as the most people in the world speak it! Thirdly (and this is the big one)! In Japan, TWST's country of origin, English is seen as (for lack of a better term) "aesthetic" and even as a status symbol. One 2020 poll found that less than 30% of the Japanese population speak English at any level, and 2-8% speak English fluently. In other words, most Japanese people would not understand the level of English being used in TWST, from Azul's contracts to the wording on the Great Seven statues and more. (You can sort of get a grasp for how few Japanese people are fluent in English from the Valentine's Day Gifts, which are all written in English; it's the one time of year when Japanese fans behave like EN fans and ask around for translations of the cards rather than the other way around for generalized TWST content.) Now, continuing off the point I made about English being seen as a status symbol... It's typically the highly educated and/or the privileged of Japan that learn English to a fluent degree. Considering that NRC is seen as an elite institution, the fact that its students can fully articulate (ie use full sentences in complex ways) in English only adds to that feeling of "being elite" (at least for the Japanese audience). English also has the effect of making the world of TWST come across as more "foreign" and helps to simulate the "other-worldliness" of the TWST characters in general (again, because of how rare fluent English is in Japan). The effect is somewhat lost in TWST EN, as most things are in English and the material is presented to predominantly English-speaking audiences in the USA and Canada, although I guess you could make the argument that the spoken dialogue staying in Japanese makes up for that lost feeling of the writing seeming foreign.
So!! There's actually many different reasons (or perhaps a combination of all of these, or unintended side-effects of one of them) as to why the general writing system in TWST is English rather than Japanese.

GHOULS! what are they?
i'm glad you asked! (keep in mind, none of this is official... i just like worldbuilding and hoarding headcanons)
GHOULS are a species of demon, summoned from hell by the church for many different reasons. a lot of the time they're used for grunt work due to their immense natural strength in comparison to humans, but on occasion they are 'hired' (for lack of a better word) as personal servants (ie, butlers lol), bodyguards, and to help with press if the papas are too exhausted/hungover/busy.
there are also many different subtypes of ghouls! as we know, each ghoul is assigned an element - air, water, earth, fire, and quintessence (and special... we'll get into him as well, don't worry!).
unlike what most people think, hell is not all fire, lava and pits of death. it's actually very geographically diverse, with ghouls sprinkled throughout all of the different climates.
because of this, many ghouls traits are different from one another on account of living in different environments which call for anatomical differences.
these traits exist in ALL GHOULS, no matter the type:
horns, of course! well, as far as we know - a ghoul born without horns has yet to be discovered...
tails!
claws and digital pads on both their hands and feet.
sharp teeth and forked tongues.
magic! this varies depending on their element (i'll probably make a separate post about their magic)
i'll be getting into specifics under the cut cause this post is gonna be LONG !!
AIR GHOULS:
the two major differences in air ghouls compared to the rest of them are the fact that they have feathers, and wings.
most people wouldn't notice the feathers at first glance because they are minuscule, almost like a light coat of fur. they're sleek, range from grey to black and are occasionally patterned (though this is uncommon). they stop growing up to the hands and feet.
with some ghouls, the feathers become more noticeable around their neck and hips. they tend to be thicker/longer and fluffier!
onto the wings - air ghouls are the only ghoul to have wings, since most of the other types are land-bound and as such, wings tend to be a hindrance. they can be made of all feather, but typically are a combination between the leathery, demon-esque wings and bird wings.
some ghouls only have a coat of feathers on the outside of their wings while the inside is skin, other ghouls have a thick coat of feathers that gradually morphs into the bat-like wings. it all depends on genetics baby!
they usually live in places with higher elevations. in fact, a lot of air ghouls who are summoned to earth have experienced sickness due to the sudden altitude differences.
air ghouls tend to be on the speedier side, rather than the tough and beefy side. their social dynamics are also quite different than the other ghouls, as they are more conflict avoidant than anything. a lot of air ghouls do not have many close relationships with their kin, as that's just the way they are raised.
WATER GHOULS:
compared to some other types of ghouls, you'll know a water ghoul when you see them!
they are usually dappled in scales across their skin, but some water ghouls have been known to be completely covered in them. along with that, they have gills on the side of their neck and torso. they do still have lungs, thankfully, but they much prefer to spend their time in the water.
in most cases, they've got swimmers builds - lanky, but lean. long torsos and arms with short legs. but of course this is not the end all be all, water ghouls come in many shapes in sizes just like the rest of the ghouls!
somehow, whether they've been in water that day or not, they always feel moist. hydrated, slick, almost like frog's skin. many humans find this offputting. (copia being one of those humans)
they tend to have beefy tails, built for controlling their swimming pattern.
they live in marshes in hell, and socially are probably the nicest out of all ghouls. they are the kindest to each other and tend to be shockingly pacifistic when it comes to demonkind. familial bonds are incredibly important in water clans.
EARTH GHOULS:
BIG. BIG BIG GUYS. this is all you need to know about them.
i joke, of course. earth ghouls are probably the most normal looking of all ghouls. they're just gigantic, usually over the 6' mark (not even counting how large their horns can get!). they also have huge ass heavy ass tails. like, imagine the weight of an anaconda in tail form.
these ghouls are the ones typically hired for grunt work and bodyguard roles. they're incredibly diligent and stubborn and will put all their effort into their assigned jobs. they're also very strong and could knock a bitch out if need be.
all ghouls are omnivorous, but usually the lean to the more carnivorous side. this is not the case for earth ghouls. they are fantastic foragers and have the most balanced diet of all the ghouls. because of this, their teeth tend to be the most similar to humans! it's not easy to eat berries with a mouth full of canines, so they evolved to have flatter teeth.
an interesting fact about them is that they grow a winter coat of fur. in the environments they live in (forests and mountains), it can get incredibly cold, and unlike fire ghouls they don't have a heater inside their bodies at all time. along with the winter coats, they also hibernate for the winter, huddling together in a closed off space to keep warmth in.
many earth ghouls do not know another ghoul outside of their (typically large) families, especially the ones who live in mountains. they are not particularly social, similarly to air ghouls, but they are incredibly close with their families, similarly to water ghouls. that's part of the reason earth ghouls are seen as stoic at times - friendship does not come naturally to them.
FIRE GHOULS:
definitely the most rambunctious and prevalent of ghouls. if shit's getting fucked up in the clergy, you can bet your ass it's the fault of a fire ghoul.
if earth ghouls weren't so damn big, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them visually. but the second you walk up to them you immediately notice the heat emanating off the smaller one and go, yeah, that's a fire ghoul for sure. if incredibly stressed or agitated, their body temperature can go up to 160° fahrenheit! (but usually it's at 90°)
fire ghouls are the most 'battle-hardened' of all the ghouls. their clans run on physicality and strength, and they fight for their spots in their homes. they have many scars (and stories that go with them), missing teeth, and some are even missing a horn, due to clashing together to fight for dominance. runts, such as dewdrop, are seen as outcasts and not considered useful to the clan, and unfortunately most times they are either exiled or worse - killed.
as mentioned before, fire ghouls are the most prevalent type of ghoul in all of hell. i said that the biomes were diverse and that's true, they are! but there is also a lot of fire and pits of death and volcanos and that's where fire ghouls live. or they live in arizona, which they have affectionately dubbed hell on earth.
because there's so many of them, there's also a lot of them in the clergy, ranging from big to small! while ghouls are typically summoned, many fire ghouls who have been exiled come to earth by themselves. it's easier to fit in here when no one's trying to kill you, y'know?
QUINTESSENCE GHOULS:
not much is actually known about quintessence ghouls. they're incredibly sparse, but also incredibly powerful.
quintessence as we know it is (rather ironically) defined as 'a substance thought to compose the heavenly bodies'. unfortunately, medieval alchemists were half-wrong in this theory - it makes up demons, too.
these ghouls are strange, to put it simply. they don't have any societal standards the likes of their fellow ghouls... they're actually much more 'human', per say. they get along well with humans incredibly easily and even enjoy their company.
they aren't much different from earth and fire ghouls in their physical presence, other than what looks to be glowing freckles scattered all across their skin. some people have said they look to be constellations at closer examination.
though they may seem silly and friendly, it is partially a front. quintessence ghouls know a lot more than they tell us. possibly more than humans could even comprehend...
it is rumored if a quintessence ghoul is angered so deeply to the point where something in their essence cracks, they become a being of pure fury, lost in the ether. supposedly, their physical form becomes nothing but a concept, but no human has come into contact with a quintessence ghoul at their most emotionally disturbed (at least, they haven't lived to tell the tale).
there is one thing that's certain about quintessence ghouls, however:
they do love bananas.
...SPECIAL GHOUL?:
no one knows what the hell he is or where he even came from. a lot of people in the clergy aren't even sure he's a ghoul.
he's oddly mysterious and aloof, which makes people question how much power he actually has. but he's also... incredibly happy to help with the press??? he loves a good joke and thinks humans are particularly endearing. he especially enjoys the music they create (he has a thing for ABBA).
most people know that he's a shapeshifter. he's never used it for anything in malice, mostly to pull pranks on the other ghouls or papa. it's all in good fun!
the weird thing about it though is that no other ghoul in history has been known to have shapeshifting abilities. even the other ghouls are baffled by this at first. when asked about it, he just shrugs and changes the topic.
the ghouls have theorized that he's like, the ruler of all ghouls. or perhaps he's lucifer himself.
it's a mystery that special will not let be solved.

Guide to my Rewrites (and other content)
I post a lot of things, and some of those things are rewrites. As such, I thought this would be a nice guide for fans of my rewrites in particular. I'm still adding new things! Lemme know what you think.
Alternate Takes (Disney)
These are projects that have the same characters and settings (for the most part), but different plot points. These particular alternate takes suggest ideas that would've made me enjoy the movie more (or at all) and aren't a fanfic so much as bullet points with pictures.
Aida
Pocahontas
Hercules
The Princess and the Frog
Tangled
Frozen
Big Hero 6
Moana
Frozen 2
Raya and the Last Dragon
Encanto
Strange World
Wish (Note: working on a full-length rewrite unrelated to the ideas used here)
I also did rewrites for two Dreamworks movies:
The Road to El Dorado
Sinbad
Reimagining Disney Movies
These are projects that take Disney's framework (ie a fairy tale) and create my own characters, plot, setting, and song titles for it.
The Snow Queen
Kingdom of the Sun
Rapunzel
Reimagining Disney eras
These posts are designed based on what if Disney eras made different decisions (either based on my own ideas or rejected concepts) for their films. Note: I made the revival post before the renaissance and post-renaissance posts, so they kind of flow in different continuities. I also wanted to include future ideas for Disney's next era. These posts also work independent of my "Alternate Take" posts.
Reimagining the Renaissance
Reimagining the Post-renaissance
Reimagining the Revival era
Plotting out the Reinvention era
Marvel
Not quite as detailed as my other rewrites, but I thought I'd include them.
Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness
Thor: Love and Thunder
X-Men (Because they have more content than my other Marvel things)
This pretty much just includes my rewrites.
X-Men: Evolution--New roster, Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, Roster (Timeskip), Season 4, and Season 5 (I did a poll months ago, and maybe I'll do a post brainstorming a Marauders spinoff).
Wolverine & the X-Men--New Roster, Season 1
Fox's X-Men films (I may remake this)--Part I (First 3 films) and Part II (Phoenix, NM, and Dark Phoenix)
Extensive rewrites
TV shows that I've remade episode-for--episode, perhaps removing and adding some as I see fit.
Miraculous Ladybug--Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, Season 4 (currently working on Season 5; been dragging my feet with that!)
Anime as comic books
Yes, this is a topic. I remember when I was in this headspace, and it was really fun. I basically reimagined what if popular anime had been created as superhero comic books that golden or silver age.
Dragon Ball
Naruto
Anime rewrites
Black Butler
Naruto: Part I
High Card: Season 1
Video Game Rewrites
These aren't quite as detailed as my usual rewrites.
Bayonetta
Fire Emblem: Awakening
Fire Emblem: Fates
Fire Emblem: 3 Houses
Kingdom Hearts
Hogwarts Mystery (MAYBE; ongoing internal discussion)
My OCs
This section covers my original characters for a few fandoms.
Fictif
The Arcana
Hogwarts Legacy
Baldur's Gate 3
Mood Boards
Just something I've made for fun to inspire others! Not an expert on making them, but it was still something I wanted to do.
My Wish rewrite (temporary)
Disney's Swan Lake
Disney's Hansel & Gretel
Disney's Rumpelstiltskin
Disney's Red Riding Hood
Sub-Saharan Disney musical
Disney Superhero Film
Japanese Disney musical
Actors who could play Disney villains
Choices: Stories You Play
REALLY into this game for a period--but it started to get awful when "Witness" came into play. Here's a list of reviews (which I've stopped doing) as well as concepts for new books (originally on Reddit before I got banned).
"Before I Say I Do"
"Celebrity Status"
"Summoned to Court"
"Arkikara"
"Fairy Godparent"
"Hierarchy: Scheming University"
"Willow Falls"
"Late at Night"
"Spellcaster"
"Four"
"America's Most Eligible" (Review)
"Desire & Decorum" (Review)
"High School Story" (Review)
"Rules of Engagement" (Review)
"The Freshman" (Review)
"Queen B" (Review)

OOPS don't mind me, it's a frantically written unhinged Black Butler theory post
Tumblr media
IMAGINE.
IT'S THE PRESENT DAY.
BLACK BUTLER SEASON 4 IS PARTWAY THROUGH AIRING.
I know nothing about what happens in the manga but THESE THOUGHTS WILL NOT LEAVE ME ALONE.
AND SO: A POST
I present to you; WHAT'S GOING ON AT WESTON COLLEGE, as pieced together entirely by the parts of the Intro that haven't shown up in the show yet.
LET'S SEE WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE
(1) The lake, and something blood-like coming out of it
Tumblr media
(2) A tree growing out of the courtyard, and something rising up out of the ground
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(3) The Undertaker's medallions show up several times
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(4) Imagery of recreating bodies
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(5) The Zombies at the end
Tumblr media
SO WHAT COULD THIS MEAN? LET'S TAKE A WILD STAB IN THE DARK.
Put these together and I would guess that the Undertaker is 100% involved in the mystery behind the missing students, but also that it's a direct continuation of what he was trying to do on the Worst Boat Trip of All Time. Ie, he's trying to perfect his process of bringing people back from the dead - not just as zombies like last time but as actual functioning people.
Let's add more screenshots to the recipe!
(6) The four elements of Alchemy show up in the intro - Earth, Air, Fire and Water
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(7) The four house colours merge together to make a shining new fire - like they did for the cricket competition cup
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(8) The shot of a body turning to ash and a shining soul hovering above the remains
Tumblr media
So add these to the mix and I'd guess that the new theory of resurrection is based on where the failure in the old one was. Previously, just altering someone's Cinematic Record wasn't enough to really keep them alive after death, as their body kept moving but the soul was gone.
This time it looks like the process might revolve around destroying the old body altogether (ie, turning it to ash), capturing the soul, and building an entirely new body to house it.
ALSO throw into the mix that the four house colours combine into FIRE, since in Alchemy the soul is associated with the idea of Combustibility
Extra symbols for this could be:
(9) The Whole Diamond in the intro which is then split four ways -
Tumblr media Tumblr media
leaving a separate smaller diamond to the side (which would be the soul, captured and kept separate from the four elements that make up the rest of the body)
(10) The diamond is present again when the tree is growing in the courtyard, where the implied undead bursts out of the ground
Tumblr media
(11) The newly recreated body looking like it's breathing fire, notably against the same backdrop of the school that was present when the diamonds split apart in the first place
Tumblr media
Anyway! This new body should in theory be free of the limits of the Cinematic Record (since the old body is already gone), and because the soul is still intact it could freely return to the new body and function normal.
I suspect the Alchemy theme might also be the conceptual connection behind the old body burning (leaving behind the pile of ash) and the new body (or maybe just the soul itself?) being made of fire, like this:
(12)
Tumblr media
So that's what I think happened to the students! They were tests to see if the process worked, hidden by the prefects - who may or may not have even known what the process was for or even if it worked.
Either way, with the reappearance of Derrick at the end of Episode 8 I would say that it does indeed work.
But! Also! The mystery of the headmaster.
He's clearly not really there, or not really alive. This could be for a number of reasons but for now I'd guess that (a) he's partway through the process, so his soul is technically around but his new body isn't finished yet, which is why he never speaks and vanished completely when Sebastian tried to grab him, or (b) the process failed on him, but they're keeping him around as a convenient figure head while the prefects run the school instead.
AND ONE MORE THING?
There's always a hovering question mark over what exactly happened to Ciel in his big dark secret backstory that I assume we learn later, but this OP in particular is giving me a few ideas that are probably hugely wrong BUT CONSIDER
(13) In the courtyard the undead rising up out of the ground is in the middle of the frame, and the VERY next shot is of Ciel in the same place
Tumblr media Tumblr media
COINCIDENCE? Yes probably! But also:
(14) The shot of Sebastian holding his cloak protectively over Ciel, who flashes briefly as a skeleton
Tumblr media
WHICH IS INTERESTING? Ciel is often depicted as dead or dying, I would assume in reference to Sebastian taking his soul in the future. BUT WHAT IF?
It makes me guess that PERHAPS perfect resurrection has already been performed and potentially it was used on Ciel.
Which would also match the brief sequence when the body burns to ash and leaves behind a ghost, the fire seems to come FROM Ciel
(15)
Tumblr media
Which is wild and I don't understand whatsoever. Was Ciel resurrected? Was his soul kept and put inside a new body (and maybe that's why he's so short? He's not growing?) Or did Ciel raise someone else from the dead? Or is there some other mystery behind Ciel's identity that just hasn't been hinted at yet?
EITHER WAY THERE WE ARE. BRAIN WORMS: EXPELLED. ENJOY.
