the only thing going for them are their looks, extensive knowledge about niche topics, and natural body glitter (like omfg i would become a vampire myself if it means im permanently covered in shimmer-)

they were in most of your classes in university but never appeared unless it was for exams. apparently they had a ‘skin condition that made them extremely sensitive to the sun’ and were therefore excused for classes. a student was usually paid to hand them notes.

that student was your friend. they were a bit of a bum if you were being quite honest. the only thing that urged them to complete the job was money. but after being too lazy to do it so many times, the job was thrown over to you to agonize on.

you quickly find out that your friend was underplaying the pay significantly after the first check. this student must have been the kid of a rich billionaire cause goddamn you didn’t know who the hell else would pay a grand for every subject you completed.

i’d say that you feel kind of bad receiving all this money and therefore improved your note-taking skills out of the kindness of your heart but i mean c’mon you’re reading from my blog- you definitely tweaked it just to earn more of that sweet cash. even drawing doodles at the wee hours of the night and little mnemonics you thought up.

yan sees the effort you put and begins subconsciously keeping your notes in better places. they find themselves grinning like a madman whenever they see that one character you drew that dumbs down some parts that might be too difficult to understand. you even provided translations in subjects that use two or more languages.

yan, despite being already down atrocious for you, never makes the initiative to meet up. they have however, already made extensive research on you. so much so that they’ve made several papers on just your magnificent self.

and so came the time you offered to meet with them. mostly cause y’know, connections with a rich ass dude would be great, but also because you were curious to see who tf pays someone this much to go to school for them.

and you then you meet this socially awkward, super shy, speaks hella old and formal (insert preferred language/dialect here), and oh they’re like super fucking cute it’s actually making you have that sort of aggression you get from pets/toys.

Rating all of Callie's Outfits!!!

I'm bored so i decided to go through most of Callie's different looks, including most from concept art and promotional material, and rate them all on a scale of 1-10.

1 = trash

2 = very bad

3 = bad

4 = below average

5 = mixed

6 = decent

7 = good

8 = great

9 = amazing

10 = perfect

Now I'm not an expert on character design or fashion so i may not have the most insightful and """"objective"""" takes or whatever, but I'm just going off how i feel about the looks. This is very subjective and if you disagree then that's perfectly fine. I also won't be including EVERY SINGLE outfit in every piece of concept art, some of it are just variants of pre existing outfits (Haicalive Kyoto Mix golden outfit, concept art of her squid sisters outfit but with a different pattern) and some are just concepts for the Squid Sisters in general and not "Callie outfits." (Splatoon 1 has a lot of these and uh... they are quite interesting... recommend looking at it on Inkipedia. Very.... interesting indeed.)

Splatoon 1 - Squid Sisters Outfit

Rating: 10/10

I think there's a clear reason as to why this outfit is so damn iconic. It's simple yet effective, it stands apart from Marie's outfit while still maintaining the theme of a "j-pop idol." It has a very strong silhouette, eye catching magentas that are complemented by the blue reflective parts on the outfit, and those pumpkin pants fit Callie's personality so insanely well. She looks absolutely adorable and stunning in that outfit.

Splatoon 1 - Young Callie

I literally cannot think of a single flaw or dislike about this dress. Maybe the dress is a bit simple? But that's me REALLY pushing it. It's still so fucking beautiful. SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL! I NEEEEDDD a 3D model of this ASAP!

Splatoon 1 - Concept Art 1

I mean, it's pretty good but it's not outstanding you know? Love the heels, the fabric at the back of her waist on the first image, the batwing like skirt on the second one. It definitely has a unique vibe to it I'll give it that. There's a decent amount of good things here, however i don't know how to feel about THAT short of a skirt on Callie. She was 17 at the beginning of Splatoon 1 and some of the dance moves she does involve moving her legs a lot so.... it would have... you know.... issues.... yeahhhh.... I would love to see this outfit get adapted but with some tweaks like maybe a slightly longer skirt, maybe higher heels and leggings that go up more her legs? Maybe her arm wraps on the left image could get rid of the dots and keep the squid head pattern? It's a pretty good outfit and has a unique feel to it, but it needs some tweaks.

Splatoon 1 - Concept Art 2

Rating 6/10

The roller skates are actually such an amazing idea for Callie and work well for her, they need to appear on a 3d model, I WANNA SEE CALLIE SKATING AROUND! COME ON! Anyways, this outfit is kinda... okay. The black and pink variant looks the best out of the three in my opinion but idk man, it's kind of just a regular cheerleading outfit. The roller skates give this like 6 points alone lmao.

Splatoon 1 - Concept Art 3

Rating: 8/10

This outfit with a few minor tweaks could easily become a 10/10 to be honest. If they either went fully black and white, or changed the white lines on the dress and shoulders to magenta it would look outstanding! Love the flashy sneakers too, it gives the impression that Callie can be both elegant and energetic, which, she is. Also if she had a more fancy piece of headgear that matched the fancy looking dress it would help as well.

Splatoon 2 - Hypno / Octo Callie

Rating: 8/10

I'm gonna be honest with y'all, i used to not like this outfit for Callie. People saw this outfit and said it was fire and amazing, however when i saw it, i saw all the misconceptions, all the misinformation, ruining such an interesting arc, boiling it down to "Callie was kidnapped, overpowered and then brainwashed with evil brain warping shades, being used by the Octarians as some slave and being branded with a tattoo." This outfit made me feel icky and really uncomfortable. Seeing a character i love being boiled down to some abused helpless victim when it's far from what truly happened.

However, after giving another look at it, after taking in all the information and the amount of time i spent trying to piece together her arc and all the events that actually took place beforehand. I gotta say, this outfit is growing a place in my heart. The colors are so strong in this and i can't exactly put my finger as to why. Turning the 3 cut pattern on it's side and putting it on her chest makes her look more "mature" i would say as well. And of course, the shades, they are iconic for a reason. The way the outfit sort of flows from top to bottom is really well done. But I think it kinda needs a few tweaks to make it flow better though, maybe cover up her arms with that leathery material on her chest, make that sparkly material on her legs flow up onto her midriff instead of having an exposed tummy would be kinda sick in my opinion.

It's honestly a damn great interpretation of an "Evil Callie." In the artbook they said that they wanted to make Callie more mature looking and i think they did a good job at it, but it needs some things added to it to help it flow better in my opinion. Also... Don't know how to feel about her underwear just poking out of her hips.... Like damn girl PULL UP DEM SHORTS!

Splatoon 2 - Tentakeel Outpost / Agent 1 Outfit

Rating 7/10

This outfit is just really cute and comfy looking, which makes sense because it's meant to be Callie in a more causal getup and it looks really adorable and warm. It has had a variant in Splatoon 1 where she has pink leggings and a sleeveless design but it has the same rating from me to be honest. The little star on the beanie too is awesome too, it's just such a nice little thing they added and it complements her lovely golden eyes.... so cute.... uh... moving on...

Splatoon 2 - Concept Art 1

Rating: 6/10

This one is kinda tricky for me to rate because i see what they were going for but... I think it needs some tweaks and a few changes. I think it would be cool to see the glowing pinkish red leggings go all over her body like a skin tight suit up to her shoulders and it would look pretty damn sick i feel. I love the long gloves, the heels, the color scheme is very interesting as well. Overall, it's decent but i think it needs some improvements.

Splatoon 2 - Concept Art 2

Rating: 8/10

I can totally imagine Callie chilling out in the beach bases in Octo Canyon with this on. I like how the boots and the bikini match her hair too in color. The fuzzy pink coat is so damn sick too, i love it.

Splatoon 2 - Concept Art 3

No... Just straight up, no. You're already giving some people weird and icky implications with the final Hypno Callie design, but this just.... no man.... HOWEVER! The swirly eyes? Good addition, a little generic for a character under hypnosis but i wish they kept the swirly eyes. It would have furthered pushed the idea that Callie is not herself and has descended into villainy and given into the darkness in her head. But at least we got mods! (Look at frequent.squidsisters on instagram to see what i'm talking about. You won't regret it.)

Splatoon 2 - Concept Art 4

Rating: 6/10 (sorry for the low quality image i couldn't find a good image of this outfit anywhere)

Just like concept art 1, it's alright, it doesn't help that there isn't a clear enough image of this outfit but, i do love the transparent fabric on her dress? skirt? idk. But it looks nice. Still though the outfit looks a little plain for someone like Callie however it's got a nice color palette.

Splatoon 2 - 1st Anniversary

I don't care what you say, i am the number 1 defender of this outfit, the fucking goofy socks, the blues and reds on her leggings and... bra? Leotard? Is she wearing a leotard under that? (I don't know anything on women's clothing I'm so sorry please don't hurt me....) Her pink lipstick, the necklace, IT'S SO DAMN GOOD! I NEED MORE OF THIS OUTFIT! NOW! I WANT A 3D MODEL TOO! GIVE IT TO ME! NOW!

Also this is the first time Callie has had one of her tentacles in front of her face which comes back later in the next game....

Splatoon 2 - Smash Bros. Splatfest

Rating: 7/10

She do be rocking dem shoes tho i gotta admit. It's good. i don't have much to say. The Smash Bros. earrings fucking rule as well, that's worth 6 points alone.

Splatoon 2 - Squidmas 2019

Rating: 5/10

Eh. It's okay, not really the most "Squidmas" thing you can wear but. The artwork is cute at least. The gang just chilling out, taking a picture, very cute.

The fact that we never got a 3D model of this outfit is a fucking crime in it of itself. The headwear, the web like design on her neck and head, the lipstick, the fingertips, the gothic dress.... those... red eyes.....

She looks so damn hot, I'm sorry but this look is doing things to me that my lawyers are advising me NOT to elaborate on....

Splatoon 2 - Final Fest

Rating 7/10

I decided to break my rule on not covering variants because i really wanted to talk about this look, the gold colors used on this outfit are so damn good and i really cannot describe exactly why, Pearl's crown is such a lovely addition too, i fucking adore it. I can't give this anything higher than a 7 because its just a recolour and a crown and thats it... I really do wish they gave Callie a more unique "chaotic" look to her iconic outfit to match the theme better, but oh well. There's always next time.... which we will get to...

Splatoon 3 - Alterna Outfit

Rating: 10/10

When i tell you that this is my favorite Callie look, ever, do NOT take that lightly.

This outfit, in my personal opinion, is perfection. It combines all the different aspects of Callie's previous major designs into one perfect package. It takes the general shape and silhouette of Splatoon 1 Callie and mixes it with Hypno Callie's leathery and mature appearance, giving us an outfit that shows Callie's class and excitable nature. It's a mature and refined outfit, much like how Callie is in Splatoon 3.

I mean it's hard to fuck up an outfit that's mainly in black and white and thankfully they didn't. The ONLY thing i can somewhat see criticism for is the color choice, but thankfully, we got mods to give her the magenta back and it looks beautiful. I LOVE the silver aspects of the outfit too like the soles of the boots, the silver bandolier across her shoulder and the silver choker. And i like an outfit that has a choker... It does things to me... UM! ANYWAYS! YEAH PERFECT OUTFIT! UH! TOTALLY HAVEN'T TAKEN 100s OF PHOTOS OF HER... YEP! MHM.......

Splatoon 1-3 Pokemon Red Outfit

I decided to put this here because this outfit appears in both Splatoon 1 in Splatfest art as well as in one of the Sunken Scrolls in Splatoon 3. It's a pretty cute outfit, i don't have any strong feelings towards it, it looks nice.

Splatoon 3 - Splatoween

Rating: 9/10

I prefer the other Splatoween outfit that appears in Splatoon 2's artwork but, this is still fucking awesome. She looks like a cute little pumpkin! SHES SO CUTE! The fucking red eyes too oh my GODDDDD!!!! The stitching face paint too!?! Oh man. My ONLY criticism is that the headpiece is too plain. If it was a Jack-o'-lantern or skull or something, it would easily get a 10/10 for sure. But overall, Callie looks like a cute little pumpkin and i wanna eat her up!..............

Splatoon 3 - FrostyFest

A damn great outfit for Callie that makes her look all nice and snuggly. She reminds me a lot of coffee for some reason and just by looking at her I'm craving for a nice cup of coffee. Also the best part of this outfit is that HER NOSE IS RED BECAUSE SHE'S COLD AWWW!! SOMEONE GIVE HER A HOT CHOCOLATE! NOW!

Splatoon 3 - Springfest

Rating: 9/10

This is the most girlypop Callie has ever been. The striped leggings, the eggshell head piece is fucking cute. I don't have any real complaints with this to be honest, maybe its a bit TOO colorful because of the different colored reflections on her body but, that's me REALLY pushing it there. This is such a cute outfit for her. The little face paint too omg....

Splatoon 3 - Summer Nights

Rating: 10/10

You guys know that one image of the monkey staring at the mid section of a woman and it says "neuron activation"? That's literally me. They gave Callie a new outfit that not only looks fantastic with such a great set of colors, shoes, head piece and zippers. But it's also designed to where it makes an outline on the underside of her belly.... nintendo... WHY YOU GOTTA DO THIS TO ME!?!?! I try to be all family friendly and level headed and shit but OH MY GOD! You're activating the primal urges in my body, you're making me go fucking feral with this design. YOU CAN'T JUST DO THIS TO ME! YOU'RE CHEATING! You can't just highlight her fucking fupa with that short dress!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! WHY NINTENDO WHYYY!!!! God I'm not ready for the dances moves where she starts spinning around and bending over- UH....

....Anyways, yeah good outfit, love it. The hair? Idk how to feel yet. That's like the one area that isn't turning me on- I MEAN! THE ONE AREA THAT I MAY OR MAY NOT LIKE! AHAHAHA!!!!!!.....

I mean guys. Come on. What do you want me to say about this outfit? It's Callie in a suit. DO I NEED TO EXPLAIN WHY IT'S SO GOOD?!?! WHY DO YOU THINK EVERY SINGLE SPLATOON ARTIST ON THE PLANET MADE ART OF THIS!??! The only thing that i wanna talk about is, what's below Callie's waist? Is it a pencil skirt or pants? This is important information for me. I'm on teams pants because it makes sense for Callie's energetic personality, all the dresses she's worn have either been real short or loose. I don't think she would wear a real tight skirt that restricts her legs but who knows. NINTENDO YOU BETTER ANSWER THIS OR I SWEAR TO GOD-

We don't have a lot to go off when it comes to this concept art as it's pretty undetailed and sketchy looking, but looking at what they were trying to go for and giving Callie a post-apocalyptic look, it looks pretty good. Love the puffy sleeves, the gas mask is pretty awesome and the sort of sporty shorts? tights? Fit Callie as well. Don't have much to say other than that.

Splatoon 3 - Concept Art 2

Now this? This is great. The ragged cape, the pants, the boots, the shirt, the fucking shades! This is an awesome look for her and it makes you wonder what kind of story mode were they originally going for. What kind of plans did they have for ROTM? Was it going to be set in the crater instead of Alterna? Hmm...

I would love to see someone give detail to this and make it a full piece of art to bring out it's full potential.

Splatoon 3 - Grand Festival Outfit.

Rating: 9/10

This outfit to me, is ALMOST perfect. She looks like a pretty princess with that cute dress on. I LOVEEEE her spike headdress, the shoes and the pearlescent hair color. However, i do wish there was just more color on the outfit in general, i get why they decided to go with this look because they wanted to have a color scheme that would unify all of the idols together. But, do wish there was some hints of magenta to break up the dull beige, or her iconic 3 squid stripe design she has on her Squid Sisters outfit, oh well!

So that is it for my ratings of MOST of Callie's different looks that she has had over the past 9 years. Callie is such a fashionable character and has rarely had any BAD outfits aside from one that was in concept art anyways.

I’m tweaking so have this flippy age theory

So being in the htf fandom I’ve noticed that lots of people portray Flippy as this traumatized war vet in his early 20’s and it bugs me out because there’s no way this man is 20 by the time he’s “discharged” from the war. Although it was never confirmed by any means that he’s actually discharged, he may be on some leave or the war just ended. But what war did he even go to? Well it’s only mentioned he went to W.A.R wich stands for Weaponized Animal Regiment, but seeing that Fliqpy’s booby traps are heavily inspired by the viet cong many say it may be possible that he also went to the Vietnam war (i also thought that would be the most rational explanation) which would make sense considering the insane trauma he has but also make him 60 even if he was drafted at the end of it, so i think he was just really interested in it but never actually got to fight there since it ended. He could have taken part in the Persian Gulf War but i doubt that. All we know is that Flippy went to the W.A.R so let’s stick to that.

What age did he go to the war then?

There is a possibility that if he was interested in joining the military from a young age and enlisted by himself then he may have been 18 at the beginning , though if that wouldn’t be the case and he was drafted instead, he would be around 20-25 years old. So let’s go with 20.

In the W.A.R journal episode he’s said to be a private, which is considered the lowest military rank (E-1) , but seeing the patch on his shoulder that could be inspired (definitely is) by the military rank insignia he could be a E-2 second class private.

The mission Flippy, Mouse Ka-Boom and Sneaky are on where they have to confront a literal General, could be seen as a very serious and important mission that would take at least 4 years of amazing performance and service for a literal second class private to go on without any forces except for two other privates, which i think makes sense because Flippy killed a literal General and that on it’s own could get him promoted to a sergeant (E-5). While promotions from E1 to E4 are mostly gained by time, E5 and higher are mostly performance and binding time earned. For a E2 to get to E5 it would take a great amount of time. To get to E3 could take at least 10 months and to E5? That could even be three to six years based on performance or even more!

So let’s say that Flippy was a great soldier for at least four years, got assigned to a serious mission, completed it alone because his teammates died, and that got him promoted to a Sergant at about 24/25 years old.

Although there is no real number of years he was at war it would make sense for it to be at least ten years if we look back at how long he had to be a private to be promoted,and how long he could fight as a sergeant. If we went down that route then he was like 30 when he left.

His first appearance is the hide and seek episode that came out in the year 2000. If we used the year when the episode came out as the year that Flippy left the military then that would make him about 31. Why 31 and not 30? Because imagine you leave a war you’ve been fighting for ten years. You don’t just immediately move somewhere new and make so many friends that you feel comfortable playing hide and seek knowing about your ptsd problem in the span of like 11 months (not saying that’s impossible but just not likely).

The episode Party Animal where we see flaky and others prepare a party for his birthday aired October 2nd 2006 that means,of course that he turned 37 that day.

The last episode featuring Flippy was In Over Your Hedge that got released (for free) December 22 2018 and that would make him 49!

In conclusion Flippy throughout the whole series is in his early 30’s to late 40’s.

She's kinda walking on a tighrope right now - but there's more to come still, the Vees haven't shown all their cards yet 🤭 It's like she has already told Alastor without telling him, and she expected him to make the revelation in her stead but he didn't; they're both dancing around each other, but it's pretty clear Alastor has likely connected the dots or at least has his theories. Plus, although I haven't detailed it a lot, the whole history between Alastor and Vox definitely makes it more complicated for him to get involved - she has expressed that doubt before, whether he would really protect her against them if push came to shove.

Re-reading past chapters, I honestly don't know what came over me to include all the blood stuff in the first place, but here we are. Can't help but make it all dark and bloody and messy ✌ I'm specially glad to heart the smutty bits aren't terrible because I'm always so nervous about them.

I've said it before but, while I have For Ever F'llen more or less outlined and with a clear ending in mind, I'm flying blind when it comes to Cursed and Divine. I have some defined plot points and scenes, but since the beginning I've been writing without a map and for whatever reason I can't get myself to sit down and do a proper outline of the thing. I had half an idea and ran with it, which is why it's a bit of a mess 🤪 Like, I'm looking forward to Lucifer's visit to the hotel (soon!) and what will follow but I have so little planned out, I can't wait to see what I improvise and at the same time I'm terrified, haha.

I know it's been a few months, but having a 9-to-6 job leaves you with little to none free time, I've been working on other things as well and I've had it rough lately with headaches and stuff... But I'm currently going through all the chapters to tweak a few details, fix typos and refresh my memory while also working on Chapter 12, and I hope to be able to update everything soon. Judicial wasn’t something that appeared by himself, friends and others called him it and said the name fit him, he didn’t understand completely why he was being called such a name, nor did he understand, (he is like a judge, and goes by justice and law stuff grrr) and I guess he’s judicial, even if he was apart of his old team they called him that because he did things and acted like a judge but never really realized, he was still nice to them but if they did something wrong like damn… but Orchid surely cannot be Judicial for that long yeah, things often change, for the best, and for the worst, nothing ever stays the same.

He has to run away and hide of his past eventually of course! so, that’s what he does, he left everything he had, everything he made and built all behind, he soon changed a lot about himself and made sure he got rid of the people from his past even if it was hard and he didn’t want to, but even if he tried to get rid of some people he just simply couldn’t get rid of them, even if he was held at gun point,

But soon this man somehow ended up being in a taskforce he thought he’d never even be in, he didn’t understand how but he did soon realize why after he heard a lot about the captain and how Laswell knew him well, and he heard from the whispers around base how captain price picked up a new stray, they talked as if it was so normal, either way he was placed into work so quickly, not that he cared, a lot. It was better than orchid sitting in absolute silence, in his dark room, having old memories replaying in his head, sounds replaying, some he wanted to try and at least remember but honestly? He couldn’t.

But during one of the missions, the team and him were walking throughout the forest, the wilderness of all things for said mission yeah, but when they were walking through flowers, orchids. He started screaming and panicking, his screams were filled with terror and they didn’t know what was going on with him, with orchid, he has a heavy phobia of bugs, and there were bugs on the flowers, and on him, the others couldn’t see it of course but orchid could. And he tweaked the fuck out completely, afterwards they started calling him orchid, because all they seen was orchid, screaming and being terrified of the orchid flowers, and every single time he tried telling them it was the stupid damn bugs, they were just “Yeah totally uh-huh, yeah we hear you.” And so every time they bring it up (they even go as far as pretending there is a flying bug near him or coming at him) and it tweaks him the fuck out completely, and mind you, he’s a grown man rounding up to his late 20s to early 30s. He’s just, special. (Literally he literally had AuADHD because I say so!!! *I like giving my persona characters traits of myself*)

And also he was like young when he loses his spouse because it was like years ago so when he joins the 141 he’s like, in his late 20s to early 30s and this is basically getting into his backstory, also he has sessions where he has to basically talk to Laswell about Makarov and everything he knows abt him because, (listen even if he’s apart of the team he still has to because it’s Makarov? It’d be weird to hold out information of knowing him) but he still knew Makarov nonetheless, having him talk and tell them stuff abt Makarov, but not almost everything, some of it is just too personal for him to share with the team.

What are some of your favorite parts of DA:V and least favorite things or things you wished got changed or tweaked slightly in DA:V?

i wanna preface this by saying i ultimately did really like the game and my issues definitely boil down to a lot of personal preference!

and im putting this under a readmore so people can just scroll past it

i was surprised at how much i enjoyed the combat! it was really fun and i usually am not great at DA combat, but i enjoyed it.

i also really like the general quality of life improvements, like no inventory cap, the appearance feature withe the armor so i could wear good defensive stuff but still look cute (lol), the fact that they party banter PAUSES and picks up??? the environments were also GORGEOUS

overall i was happy with the companions, though i wish there was a little more... teeth to them i guess. and generally some more content, since looking at that storyboard dump that's been going around im like ahhhhhh what could've been!!!

there are some plot things i also wish had more teeth to them, in a way that people much more eloquent than me have stated

BUT that's. not enough for me to dislike the game, tbqh. im still very happy with it!! perhaps not my favorite dragon age, but i did fundamentally and thoroughly enjoy it and i will probably be starting a second playthrough this weekend woops lmao

i do think my BIGGEST issue tho..... is that i really do wish they integrated the past games more. i understand why but also i think there's a happy medium between the 20000000 choices from the keep vs the, like, 4 we got here

1 - Games you’re currently playing?

i almost forgot somehow, but im playing street fighter 6! super fun and i love the cast except for when the game is too hard and i feel overwhelmed by all the tech and things you have to do to learn characters :< at least they are all hot... 😔✊ but also the like player characters you can make are cool. it's a very good character creator and i always love it when games have that for my roleplaying brain. but again theres too much stuff and it takes too much time to get i dont wanna have to unlock moves :<

2 - Do you like playing with mods?

yes! mods are so good... you can tweak your experience to be just a little more comfortable, or revamp the whole thing. i usually only go through the effort of getting them when its a game i really like, like the binding of isaac or monster hunter or smth. i get all the enjoyment i can out of the base game, then do mods. its fun! theres also just cosmetic mods that change like appearances and audio and stuff like that, and those can get kinda goofy so probably i'd also wait til i'd done enough of the base game in general, but those are really good too!!

6 - Last game you finished?

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hmmm i guess i would say... even though this is a replay, og pokemon platinum (emulated) i skipped the "buying the new remade game out of nostalgia" step and just went back the original without any of the annoying wait times due to emulation lol i like doing challenge runs on it like monotypes and nuzlockes, usually sort of building a team to a certain "character" (another roleplay thing, i really like doing that :p), its pretty fun! i dont always finish runs but theyre certainly enjoyable

i have so many of these!!! well, they more apply in a "single game i always come back to" sense, but still

i have to say smite first bc i still play that game sooo much (almost 3000 hrs ack...) the third person moba + characters u play as are gods from various mythologies combination is really good, hi-rez kinda struck gold with that

theres also left 4 dead of course (but really its l4d2 since it has all of l4d1's stuff) which ive played since i was a kid... its fun i love it! def a favorite of mine... altho the periods i play it are kinda intermittent

binding of isaac series... i played the original flash game which was not as fun but it was a more like, meaningful experience. which is definitely part due to the amazing music, and possibly in part due to that unfairness making it feel hopeless. i only play rebirth these days of course because it is much bigger and better in terms of gameplay, and gameplay is pretty important for roguelikes lol, but you can't talk about rebirth without talking about the original! also rebirth doesnt have good music :(( the only actually good track is the burning basement one (which is really good, but not enough to make up for a whole soundtrack of meh songs). although the recently added dogma fight song is great too, the cathedral ost is good, and the hush fight is one i personally like... other than that its all :l

oh and i still play long live the queen every now and then. a sequels coming out soon which is great!! but its not like the same setting where youre a princess trying to become queen and also theres cool magic which is sad... also the deaths in that game are adorable i love them

I cannot stress enough that this man does not do “casual.” If you’re in an official relationship with him, you’ll have his entire devotion.

And it’s that devotion that is the largest indicator of his feelings towards you.

He’s a pretty standoffish guy, so I’d imagine that ending up in a relationship with him would take a loooong time.

Appearance wise, I don’t foresee him as the type of person to really care about physical attraction.

Not that he’s entirely immune to it, though. If he can tell that you’re fairly put-together and cleanly in your appearance, I think that would go a long way.

For him, it’s mostly about intelligence. Not necessarily the applied type, either - you don’t have to be a rocket scientist. When I say intelligence, I mean that I imagine his infatuation would likely start upon the realization that you’re able to engage him in academic conversations - not that this is the only factor, though.

I think the biggest thing would just be that you’d have to be in it for the long haul. He’s extremely guarded, and getting past those walls is going to be difficult, to say the least.

It’s rather rewarding, though. Despite surrounding himself with grandeur, there would be no massive displays of love from him, but there are definitely minor things.

The biggest sign is definitely how he speaks to you, or the ways in which he acts around you. He certainly has a temper, but upon his realization of why he feels the way he does, it would become a lot rarer for him to raise his voice around you, let alone at you.

Something about you seems to calm him, in some weird way.

Not that he’d bite his tongue; he’s not that kind of person. He’d be fairly open when it comes to communicating his frustrations.

Though that doesn’t extend to his frustrations in means of attraction. This man will spend literal months trying to stop himself from feeling the way he does, and it really only has the opposite effect. Thinking about you so often has only strengthened his attachment. At that point, he has no idea what to do with himself.

He’d likely confess with the expectation that you’d reject him, and would use that as a way to get rid of his feelings.

And as far as confessions go, he most likely won’t just come right out and say it. He’ll probably spend the entire day saying mildly implicit things about his infatuation, likely in increasing obviousness as he grows more and more frustrated that you’re just accepting the things he says.

When you finally voice your reciprocation of his feelings, however, I think he’d be emotionally paralyzed. Like, just staring for a moment before walking off. He didn't have a “plan B,” to say the least - and now you know about how he feels, and now he knows about how you feel, and it drives him crazy.

He may beat around the bush for quite awhile afterwards, not even acknowledging that it had happened.

Eventually, though, the tension just erases his resolve. I mean, imagine getting approached like you’re about to get the scolding of your life, only for him to hesitantly ask if you’d like to join him for dinner.

In an actual relationship, though, I imagine this guy wouldn't be too fond of PDA. Chaste kisses and handholding is as far as you're gonna get (scandalous, I know).

That goes out the window in private, though. Not that he's suddenly all over you, but he loves to be close to you. He doesn't indulge himself with physical affection much, but it's one of his favorite things to receive. If the two of you happen to share a bed, he'd love to hold you until he falls asleep - as corny as it sounds.

When it comes to giving, though, I imagine he'd most often be one for acts of service. He'd constantly do small things for you, and not even acknowledge that they've been done. He isn't good at expressing such intimate feelings through words, so he uses actions instead.

All in all, getting into a relationship with him wouldn't be easy, to say the least, and would take forever... but I personally think it's worth it, when the amount of devotion he would feel towards you is as high as it is.

ACTUALLY talking about ocs and not just oc making!

ok so since i do like making complicated characters, i also like making them have a lot of trauma so im gonna add the read more just in case

first off, lets start with one of my longest lasting characters, whos personality has been tweaked so many times and i like to include them a lot in the stories in my head: Allyson Grayskull, or Allie to any who'd meet her right now. She's a cis pansexual with a masc preference woman who uses she/her and can tolerate it/itself or they/them (it bothers her a bit more though). She would be 19-20 right now, but 2 years ago she was killed in the woods. Her "friend" who was definitely unhinged decided to throw a party at her house as a way to make it up to her when she ghosted her for telling her crush she liked him (who proceeded to embarrass her infront of the whole school) and rumors about sleeping with him spread somehow by the kid. She honestly didn't have much a plan going in, just get rid of her now. Allie did bring a friend to the party, a girl named Lily (who I'll probably talk on later) who ended up getting kicked out after being told the plan to murder Allyson. When Allyson was told of something fun in the woods, she went in confused on where Leah was. Then realizing her friend hates the woods by her house and wouldn't even go to far in, she started to panic and run, assuming the worst which turned out to be true. She ran for about 30 minutes, until a knife was thrown staright (man im too gay to spell straight right /j) into her back as she tried to hide and catch her breath. Her friend tried to get over, but the search for her took too long and she was found with the knife still in her chest, having lost a lot of blood. Due to now hearing 2 screams, people went to go check on the outside, to where they found Lily frantically telling everyone Leah just murdered Allie. While police investigations found out easily it was Leah, she seemed to have vanished. Allie came back a ghost, grieving silently at the pain her friend felt and how her death wouldn't be avenged, wishing she had done things differently. That is, until a couple months ago, when Allyson had decided to take karma into her own hands by daring to push herself beyond the grave:she possessed her own dead body to find and torment Leah. I love using her because she's such a personality jumping around character and is so human yet not human feeling! She's a pure example of reacting differently even in the same situation, with a second chance to have her fun while also being chaotic how she likes. Honestly, I could sit here forever talking about her. Since I will be drawing her like tomorrow I won't be describing her appearance yet!

i cant believe you said you dont write for fandoms!! these are ending up AMAZING! have another fail date for you to make better: we went four-wheel driving over the dunes out bush, we took my car but he drove because he's done the route before. we were the second car in the convoy and because my car is a little smaller than the others it couldnt make it up the last dune! it nearly made it over before sliding back into the sand and ended up half buried! (1/2)

(2/2) the rest of the group had to drag and push us out with planks and chains etc while we were stuck inside because no way in hell i was opening the door to let the sand in! so three wheels in the sand, waiting on our rescue, irl it was a bit awkward but im hoping you'll rewrite a better ending <3

So the pack got big in this one and while most don't have lines, I liked the idea of everyone being there (or almost for anyone I missed haha). I left some of the couple combos up to interpretation so feel free to ship at your leisure.

The pack, after much pestering from a certain human/spark, were finally going on their camping trip. The alpha had finally conceded when Stiles had shot him a pout and hopeful eyes. Derek had reluctantly agreed and ignored the snickering of his betas in the corner of the room.

On the morning of the trip, everyone was pairing up into groups of drivers and passengers so no one drove alone and there were less cars.

Derek and Stiles were the last members out of the rebuilt Hale House. Derek had been locking up and Stiles was finishing off some wards to ensure there were no unwanted visitors while they were away. He was still learning to harness his spark but small wards of protection were easy enough. Defensive magic was easier, offensive was another story.

Stiles threw his bag into the back of the jeep and glanced around.

"So, who's joining Roscoe and me?"

Erica snickered, "Derek."

"What?" Stiles and Derek snapped in unison. Well at least Stiles had a punctuation mark, Derek's not so much.

"I'm with Danny, Lydia and Jacks." Kira spoke up. "Scott, Malia, and Isaac are with Allison."

"I'm obviously with my boy." Erica jumped onto Boyd's back, who was used to his girlfriend's antics and easily caught her. "And Theo is meeting us there after picking up Liam from work. Everyone's paired up so that just leaves you two."

Stiles felt his heart flutter but managed to keep his voice even as he spoke, "Alright Alpha My Alpha, let's get going."

Derek didn't say a word as he slid into the passenger seat of the jeep. Everything would be fine.

Everything was not fine. Stiles was definitely going through a quarter life crisis at the realisation most of the pack were in couples. How did he not realise that? When had it become a prerequisite to start dating a pack member? And now it was just Stiles and the alpha. The alpha he had been in love with for years. Great...

"What's wrong?"

Stiles was pulled out of his internal panic by said alpha's soothing voice. Derek had softened over the years, showing care and concern for each member of the pack. He now bought scent-free nail polish for Erica (so the acid smell didn't upset all the were's noses), stocked Isaac's favourite gummybears and even hugged Kira willingly at her university graduation. Derek Hale was a softie.

"I'm fine, nothing wrong here, no sir." Stiles prattled. Even he heard the blatant lies without supernatural healing. He glanced to his side and was greeted by raised eyebrows.

"Ok, so I may have just realised how paired up everyone in the pack really is."

"Except us."

"Yeah," Stiles sighed. "Except us. Do you ever think about that? Like, why you haven't dated anyone since..." He trailed off. Derek didn't have the best track record for his love interests but he hadn't even been on a date for more than 3 years.

Derek looked out the window at the scenary, they were driving into the sand dune part of the journey, and for a moment Stiles thought he wasn't going to answer.

"I've been waiting."

Stiles blinked. Huh?

"For someone so smart, you're really clueless sometimes." Derek huffed, glancing back at Stiles.

"What have you been waiting for?" Stiles dared to ask. They had paused to allow Allison's four-wheel-drive to roll up the last sand dune, waiting for their turn. Roscoe would be the last time to make the climb.

"I thought it was my imagination at first but then you kept coming around and..."

It was Roscoe's turn now and Stiles slowly prepared for the final climb of the dune. He tried to keep focused on the task at hand, allowing Derek to speak his thoughts. You never rushed the alpha when he was being vulnerable.

"I know you kind of like me?" Derek voiced it as a question but all Stiles heard was sirens in his brain. Derek knew? Stiles' foot slid off the peddle and they immediately started rolling backwards, fast.

"Shit! Shit, shit shit." Stiles acted quickly but it wasn't enough. Roscoe descended the sand dune and sank, refusing to move. Sand on either side of them blocked the bottom of their doors. They were officially stuck.

Stiles rested his head on the steering wheel and slowed his breathing. There were multiple crises going on but most had solutions.

The others would work out they hadn't made the climb soon enough or Theo and Liam would find them on their way through. So either way, Roscoe being stuck wasn't a massive deal. The real dilemma was Stiles' outed feelings for Derek.

The same Derek that was eyeing Stiles with concern as he called Kira to request some assist. Stiles heard him hang up before the sound of a door handle being jiggled. He snapped his head up.

"Whoa there sourwolf, there is to be no sand storm in this car, thankyouverymuch." He reached out and tugged the alpha's hand away from the door.

"I figured me getting out and pushing was the preferred option to sitting here with you in a state of panic at my assumption."

Stiles pulled his hand back. "What?"

"Look, we can just forget I ever said anything, alright? I get I'm not the most desirable crush to have. It's probably just familiarity and your sense of loyalty that's fueled your scent around me anyway. Don't worry about it."

Stiles shook his head, "Oh no you don't. You opened that can of worms and I'm no coward." The spark met Derek's gaze. Had he been planning on ignoring his feelings for the alpha? Sure. But was he going to run away from a moment like this? Nope. Stiles Stilinski was a lot of things but after running with wolves and other supernaturals for most of his life, he knew when he needed to tackle something head on.

"Now, before you go down your rabbit hole of I'm-not-good-enough crazy talk, I've got something to say."

Derek nodded like the soft alpha he was and turned to face Stiles more fully.

"You, Derek Alexander Hale, are amazing. A little on the martyr side but that's because you are so protective of your pack. I'd be crazy to not fall in love with you. That's right, love not like. I've been in love with you for years but how was a kid like me going to catch the alpha's eye? I didn't want to ruin our friendship. This," He gestured between them. "This is important to me. I don't want to ruin it."

Derek released a sigh of relief? Stiles couldn't read his eyebrows which was disappointing when he was the most expert at interpreting the alpha's facial expressions.

Then Derek was darting forward and claiming Stiles' lips in a searing kiss. Stiles went with it, almost unbelieving that any of this was happening.

Derek eventually pulled back and rested his forehead against Stiles'.

"Worth the wait." The alpha whispered, grinning, bunny teeth all on display.

"Two way street here. You could've said something too. How long have you liked me?"

Derek blushed and it was only because they were so close that Stiles saw the pink of his cheeks and ears.

"I've always liked you, even if I didn't always show it. But love? I think I've loved you since you woke me up on an elevator floor by punching me. You could have left without me but you didn't."

Stiles pouted, "Since then?"

Derek raised an eyebrow, "What's wrong?"

Stiles pushed Derek back and clumsily crawled across the gear stick to straddle the alpha's lap.

"We could have been having the best sex of my life for years, Derek! Years! We've got a lot of making up to do." Stiles dove in to kiss Derek this time. The alpha happily drew Stiles in closer, curling his arms around the spark's slim waist.

A knock on the window, interrupted their make-out session. Boyd's face appeared with judging eyebrows to rival Derek's.

"Heard you needed a hand." Boyd spoke loudly with a smirk as Derek's hand moved away from Stiles' ass to rest safely on his back.

"What's Erica doing?" Stiles asked, leaning over Derek to squint at the blonde chatting wildly on the phone. Derek focused his hearing.

"Turns out I'm not the only one who was waiting." Derek grinned, "And everyone apparently owes Lydia money."

They did eventually get Roscoe out of the sand dune thanks to the advantages of going camping with multiple supernatural creatures. By the time everyone was settled in the camp and Erica had informed Theo and Liam on the events of the day, Lydia was a very rich woman.

Stiles couldn't complain though. Not when the alpha was snuggled between his legs as Stiles sat on the log and Derek roasted them marshmallows. Apparently no one trusted Stiles near an open flame following the incident with that vampire clan. Stiles combed his fingers through Derek's hair and looked around at the pack. This camping trip was the best idea ever.

Ok so I must confess I do not camp like...ever and have no idea how four-wheel-driving works so please forgive any major errors in that department. I tweaked things a bit from your prompt sorry. I just couldn't imagine Stiles letting anyone else drive Roscoe. Hope you enjoyed! Thanks for popping in!

Her socks skidded across the laminated floor as she took the corner a little too quickly, causing her heart to jump out of her chest and into her throat. In her wrists, her neck, even the fleshy spot underneath her tongue, she could feel her pulse racing, beating hard to enough make her whole body shake. Moving like her life depended on it, she scrambled into the dining room, nearly rolling her ankle as she grabbed the cordless phone and backed herself up against the farthest wall.

“Hello?! Hello?!” she breathed into the receiver, pressing herself that much further against the wall. “Someone - anyone - please, I need help! Oh God, oh my God, oh shit, someone help me, please!” Her eyes widened to the size of dinner plates as a silhouette appeared in the doorway, no doubt drawn by the sound of her voice. “Jesus Christ, we need help here! There’s a maniac on the loose and, and, and...” Her eyes tracked the shape in the door as it slid into the room, approached the phone’s cradle, stopped before it could hit the hang up button. “And since I just caught her kissing my fucking brother, there’s just no telling what other sick shit she might be planning.”

From where her hand still hovered over the phone cradle, Sam slowly turned towards Beth. “Please tell me you didn’t actually call 911 just now.”

She drummed her fingers against the phone, posture going looser and looser until her horror movie cringe became a teen comedy slouch. “I should’ve,” Beth said defiantly, dropping the phone from her ear only to point it at her like a loaded pistol. “Still might. Haven’t made up my mind yet, actually.”

After a halfhearted swipe at the phone, Sam gave up, grabbing onto the edge of the table and leaning down almost to the point where her forehead touched the table. Once, twice, three times she started to say something before trailing off, eventually giving in and folding her arms into a makeshift nest around her head.

“Is this shame?” Beth asked, giving the phone a little toss and flip before walking around behind her, hanging it up again. “If it is shame, maybe there’s still some hope for you. Not our friendship, obvs, that’s dead and buried - ”

Sam groaned something that could’ve been “Beeeeeeeth,” but it was so hard to tell, given how muffled her voice was.

“ - totally dead, Sam. Dead, dead, dead. Deader than disco. Sorry. But if you’re ashamed of yourself for the truly abhorrent thing you’ve done, then like. Maybe you still have a shot of fixing yourself. It’ll take time, I’m sure, but maybe by the time you’re, like...mmm...fifty-seven, you’ll have a shot at being a functional member of society again.” As she crossed behind her again, she couldn’t resist reaching over and giving her ponytail a single joking tweak. “All the people at this party - all the fucking people at this party, Sam! - and you kiss Josh?! Josh. JOSH!”

That time it was “Beth,” that she said. Pathetically, too. In total and complete agony.

“So now that we’re definitely not friends anymore, and never will be again, uhhh...pressure’s off. Wanna maybe try explaining yourself?” She hopped up onto the table beside her, playfully swinging her legs as they dangled. “I mean, don’t get me wrong - there is no explaining behavior that rank, but you can try.”

When Sam finally lifted her head, it was with a timid - but not guilty - smile. “I mean...to be fair...youuuu definitely weren’t supposed to see that, sooo...”

Beth swiveled her head to glance her way, eyebrows high and legs momentarily going still. “That’s your defense? ‘I didn’t think I’d get caught?’”

“Pretty much.”

“Wow. Wow, Sam, just...wow.” Then, despite herself, she snorted a laugh, shaking her head. “You think you know someone.”

“Beth, oh my God...”

“You think you know someone,” she continued, raising her voice to speak over her, “And then they go and kiss your shitty older brother...”

Her head dropped back into her arms - a sure sign of defeat. Still, her body shook with laughter. Probably the embarrassed kind. “I get it, okay? I get it! Can we maybe just agree that this whole dumb thing is punishment enough? You making fun of me?”

She pulled in a long, long breath that ended in an even longer sigh, returning to slowly kicking her legs through the air. “Hmm...have you suffered enough...have you suffered...enough...I guess that’s like, the big question, right? Have you learned your lesson...well, okay, let me ask you this: Do you promise you’ll never do that sick shit again?”

Sam peeked up from her arms again. “By ‘sick shit’ do you mean ‘kissing J - ’”

“I think it’s pretty fucking obvious I mean kissing Josh, Samantha Giddings.”

There was a moment of silence that told her all she needed to know, and it was for that reason that when Sam finally did answer, Beth was staring her full in the face, mouth open wide as her eyes. “I...cannot make that promise, no.”

Her mouth snapped shut after a moment, and she stared through Sam as though trying to solve a difficult math problem. “Hmm. You know what? Okay. If that’s how things are gonna be...” In one fluid move, she hopped back onto the floor, preparing for what was sure to be a hell of a race (Sam was, after all, probably the worst one of their group to try and outrun). “Then I don’t think you’ve suffered enough. And that’s why...I’mtellingHannah,” she said as quickly as she could, immediately springing back out of the dining room before Sam could register what she’d said, laughing wickedly the whole way.
