Can you summarize the Peter stuff from last night?
I can try, but it’s definitely still a work in progress theory that @aemiron-main and i just went absolutely nuts over lmao
essentially, there are 4 different mentioned peters in the show; the unidentified peter that works at the lab, owens’ unidentified son, peter bingham, and petey mchew. there’s also a 5th peter who wasn’t mentioned in the show, peter ballard. that was the cover name used for jamie’s audition for henry creel
when trying to make connections between each of the different peters, there was only one connecting force; henry. the problem was that the qualities of this mysterious peter character didn’t completely match up with henry himself. things like being scared of victor and having curse symptoms didn’t align, and the loose connections suggesting henry might be peter fell apart pretty quickly. peter is a character who is intrinsic to henry’s story but couldn’t be henry himself
one of my anons suggested that peter could’ve been a boy from henry’s past, specifically one he was romantically involved in. things started making more sense like the fear of victor as well as the possibility that peter was owens’ son which is could be why owens is so heavily connected to the creel family. there ended up being a lot of evidence suggesting henry and peter may have met at a “summer camp” run by brenner, possibly having tried to escape together
we also found that peter is likely to be mike’s parallel, or an antithesis, similar to how henry is will’s antithesis. both peter and michael are saints, and we see a painting of saint michael in the russian church. saint peter is said to have had a vision in which he saw an apocalypse where blasphemers and liars were punished for their false words and those given power above others, like rich people, were made to be forced to live the lives of the people below them. this is something we see in henry’s goals, having killed many people who were considered normal/privileged by society and targeting those who lie about themselves. saint peter also saw a heavenly bliss for those who deserved to be saved, and we see henry trying to have will and el join him because they are above other people in his eyes, they deserve to have power. as for saint michael, it’s important to note that he was said to battle with satan and the religious imagery in s4 turns henry into a metaphorical satan and all the sword hints towards mike and saint michael having a sword really connects the two
this is more of a concept, but it’s also possible that when henry takes mike he’ll hold him captive in a crucifixion, as is suggested with the cross imagery associated with mike in s4. that’s important because saint peter was killed via crucifixion and because of the connections between peter and henry as well as henry’s constant eye over mike, carefully watching him since the start of the show, henry may project his own grief and rage onto mike and will’s relationship. henry has become the very monster he hated, and as such he may be seeking to use mike and his life against will to make will see how unfair the world is and how it needs to be changed as a way to convince him to join him
em also found some major tommy parallels that you should ask him about!!
there are some other details, but i think that sums up the majority of it!! i’ve been posting peter stuff under ‘#peter owens’ and stuff specific to discoveries under ‘#petergate’

hmmm so when they open the tomb they needed 2 things:
John's blood (spoofed by Kiriona's blood, doesnt need to be a lot but needs to be fresh to wet the stone)
thanergy (provided by killing Crux, very interestingly no one tried to give themselves a little injury first. they went straight to "someone needs to die for this to work")
and my question is this: when 10 yr old Harrow rolled away the rock..... we know where she got the blood, but where did she get the thanergy?

I know bojack is seen as an amazing show for mental health and its pretty good..
but i still think they didn't handle dealing with childhood trauma in the best of ways. of course bj should be held accountable for his shit like sarah lynn/ penny .. but my boy needed a better therapist its so easy to think adults can shed trauma and be better but i dont think its that simple .. .. im not a big fan of how the show went from mentally ill man to shitty nearly irremediable mentally ill man but ohwell i guess.

hey wait do you think mobians/animal people themselves are descended from the ancients? here, i have a thing:
seventh grade science evolution chart, baby!
phylogeny my beloved. okay short answer is probably not? i think the ancients and the mobians are two different things. there’s only a select few Chao that look identical to the main cast- the rest are just strange little guys that can copy other animal traits. i can’t quite articulate what i want to say but i don’t entirely think they’re like, ancestors to the mobians.
1) i feel like perfect chaos wouldn’t have killed the echidnas if they evolved from the koco/Chao? either because perfect chaos is an ancient or a mutated Chao himself. i feel like their must be some solidarity between the two.
2) i feel like it would be important to note that ancients share dna similarity to mobians as WELL as the chao, but right now it’s just the Chao that are related
3) i’d be curious to how the babylons fit into this, as aliens themself who look similar to mobians
(note: they may have evolved from flickies. but the flickies themself are not Normal Woodland Creatures- they have dimensional travel and a connection to the chaos emeralds)
4) . does blaze’s world have their own version of the ancients? how would mobians life on blazes world work?
5) i don’t really think the critters/woodland friends came from Chao, either. Chao seem to be able to adopt those body parts from them, so I don’t know how that would completely work. the same sort of goes with mobians… i know the chao genes are pretty flexible but if they didn’t have something to base themselves off of, im not sure they would be able to evolve into SO many different species (bugs, reptiles, mammals). so if the chao are connected to the mobians i think the critters would be SEPERATE; that the chao based themselves off those critters/adopted their features to blend in until they gained sentience
6) i wonder where the humans come into play with this concept
i think there’s an undeniable connection between sonic, Chao, chaos emeralds, and the ancients. but i think it’s mostly kind of just a sonic exclusive thing; so while sonic might stem from the aliens, and you might even be able to argue some of his friends, i don’t see mobians as a whole stemming from them.

This is just speculation but
I keep wondering about Search and how exactly it logs a persons weakness. Is it just... there? Next to the info about their location? Or is it something from experience, where the user sees the person then interacts with them and from there it’s just logged into the data?
OR is it something partly psychological? Because I wonder, if when the user looks at a person and IMMEDIATELY gets all that data (including weaknesses) fed back to them, it’s dependent on what the person already knows about themselves
The data about their location (where that person is) but the weakness comes from the mind. What if the weakness category is totally dependent on what the person thinks their own weakness is? And therefore that BECOMES their weakness, whether it’s the real truth or not?
For example, let’s say Ragdoll/Tomura looks at an ice user. Their quirk involves ice, so the logical weakness would be fire, right? But the weakness according to Search is listed as “bad ankle”. Which doesn’t mean it’s something they can’t use, because they can totally use that in battle, but it’s weird that that is the thing that comes up when it should be obvious what ice’s weakness is
But it turns out the ice user just knows what has happened to them. They had an accident while training yesterday, and they can move around fine, but their ankle is still healing from the accident, and they know opponent’s can use that knowledge against them. It’s a weakness only they know about, but just by looking and taking in information about the person, Ragdoll/Tomura know it’s their weakness
And let’s say the bad ankle heals up and it’s no longer a problem; I think what would then replace the weakness the next time Ragdoll/Tomura see the ice user would be “fire” or something similar to the unrelated-to-quirk weakness
Idk I just think after that post I made about danger sense, it’d be cool to see another psychological quirk at play again
(maybe I’m just a big fan of psychological quirks lol)
Anyway this is just speculation
