Damn. So he is here.
I actually wished I wouldn't see Celeborn in tRoP. Seriously. Sincerely. Or with whatever word that tells my feeling.
Did they really have to make him alive? Okay, I was kidding. I'm quite happy to see him alive, with long silver hair, and... well. But the truth is, I don't want to watch it. I don't want him to be in that show, where Galadriel thought her husband is dead and then started to flirt with Sauron. It's totally ridiculous to be honest. And it pains me to see Celeborn in that universe.
After all, tRoP is not happening in Tolkien's Middle-Earth, and we know this. I'm not sure if I can love him while I can't even love the story.

also fucking we have NOT discussed the performance of justice smith in that film enough. what a fantastic job. he hits that sense of awkward confusion and dissociation so perfectly and it makes the scenes where owen actually lets how she feels show absolutely GUTWRENCHING in comparison. i was particularly impressed by his willingness to play every part of owens anguish (e.g. with the wheezing in the final scene). thank you justice smith i love you justice smith

What do you think of Rook's savanaclaw card? <333
I didn't get him (and I need to save my keys for Silver's birthday, sob) so I looked up his groovy, and I'm not over how incredibly dramatic and epic and cool it looks in direct contrast to the absolutely ridiculous context. just look at that dynamic action and his majestic sparkling tears and keep in mind that this is pretty much right after a bunch of characters have been dance battling for his soul.
and then even the actual moment of the groovy is just like
this is NOT a negative in the slightest, I love it all, this truly was an incredible update in so many ways
