Danny learned from the Ghost Writer that other worlds exist, even his favorite world. The Justice League!
However, Ghost Writer has always been hesitant to use his portals to explore other realms. This is due to the immense power and danger lurking on the other side.
Danny's curiosity gets the better of him, and he can't resist using Ghost Writer's portals to go into the DC universe.
Danny was here to have fun, so he decides to dress up as various DC villains, but with his young age, it has an adorable twist: he appears as a tiny child version of them.
To his surprise, Danny realizes that these costumes give him access to the powers of the villains. He seemed to mimic them, like he did in a few of his fights against his enemies attacks.
Like Ghostly wails with Dan or Cloning with Vlad.
And just seeing this would be much more fun! He started his playful journey to meet iconic heroes and villains.
The first one Danny met was the Flash family while dressed as Reverse Flash. He stumbles upon a face-off between Flash, Kid Flash, and the real Reverse Flash. With his childlike innocence, Danny manages to confuse all three speedsters, much to Kid Flash's chagrin. Danny began to tease Kid Flash about a prank he played on him. "It was me, Wally; I shoved the coffee table ever so slightly so that you would stub your toe right before you were sent off to school." "It was me who made your mother and father see your adult magazine!" Thawne laughed as he heard what the boy did. Leaving after Eobard was defeated, leaving very confused Speedsters behind.
Next, Danny decides to become Ares, the God of War. This leads to a comical confrontation with Wonder Woman. Ares is perplexed by how this young boy possesses his godly powers, and Diana is equally confused by the mysterious demigod child.
The one he had most fun was the Ra's al Ghul cosplay, complete with a sword. Danny found himself entangled in a battle between the League of Assassins and Green Arrow with his sidekick Speedy. Ra's was puzzled by this unexpected child version of himself, and Green Arrow can't help but be amused and confused by the whole situation. After the battle, Danny poured the ectoplasm from his bottle on the ground and jumped into it. Which made it look like Green Arrow and Ra's that Danny just jumped into Lazarus water and was swallowed by it.
Sinestro and Hal Jordan were bewildered by the appearance of a child wearing a Yellow Lantern ring. The notion of such a young Yellow Lantern throws them off balance during their battle. Sinestro and Hal Jordan are utterly baffled as to why a child could even wield the power of fear.
Dressed up as the Ocean Master, Danny intervenes in a conflict between Aquaman and Aqualad against the vengeful Ocean Master. Initially mistaking him for Orm's son, Arthur planned to talk with the boy, only for him to leave after the fight.
When Danny dons the Lex Luthor Warsuit, he finds himself in a confrontation with Superman, catching the attention of Lex Luthor. Lex is intrigued by the young boy's capabilities and is somehow proud of him, even though they aren't fighting on the same side. If Lex sees potential in him and contemplates offering some guidance, the boy would go far. The Suit was like his own.
At Last, The Mr. Freeze Costume, Danny intervenes in a showdown between Batman, Robin, and Mr. Freeze in Gotham City. The Caped Crusader is intrigued by this young "villain" and contemplates whether the boy can be taught to use his abilities responsibly. As Danny was just talking about Dr. Victor Fries inventions and theories, Victor saw that the boy had good ideas and theories.
Danny had his fun, and he tried to return home, only for the portal not to work.
He used it many times and had to wait a short time. Well, what are a few days here?

Just to put a lot of my posts and beliefs about Light Yagami's character in one post (headcanons not included):
• He does not do anything for purely moral reasons. The reason he started killing criminals was because he was curious, and then afterward his "crusade" was built from panic and spite. He thought using the Death Note was going to kill him, so he decided to take everyone he considered a threat to society down with him—that way he would still be good. He would still be remembered. If he can't live, then criminals don't deserve to either. The weight loss and the insomnia shown in the manga, were more likely results of a fear of dying than moral stress.
• Then Light discovers he won't die. This negates part of the spite, but not the need for a moral justification to keep himself "good". He no longer needs to be a martyr, so instead he's chosen to become a God.
• During this week and half of time, Light goes from being a bored, lonely, listless teenager disgusted with the world because it's not how his father taught him it should be, disgusted because if he can manage perfection why can't the rest of the world—to a boy with a new friend and a new mission that gives him purpose. Something interesting. If the world can't be perfect on its own, he'll have to help it. The world needs his help, making him its "savior".
• In comes L. It is no longer about Kira, no longer about saving the world from itself, even if he might tell himself it is—it's about the game. Kira was a fun pastime, yes, but L has made things so much more interesting. (Light and Ryuk are actually wildly similar in several ways it's just not immediately obvious). This game is more fun, too, because this time he has an opponent—one not so nebulous as "the criminals of the world", who offered no challenge. Light is still justifying his actions through a lens of morality, because he has to, but they're beginning to run rather thin.
• Both the broadcast and the obvious taunts to L through changing Kira's killing methods supports the above. "You're too stupid, L. If you were just a little smarter, we could've had some fun." Drawing L in was to progress their game, not Kira's goals. If Light truly only cared about Kira's vision, Kira's new world, Kira's righteous justice; then he wouldn't have continued to play the game after the broadcast. There was no way for L to find him without Light drawing him in—the Death Note is literally the perfect murder weapon. Light knew this, he just ignored it because he wanted to play.
• In the same vein: Yotsuba Light doesn't know he's playing the game. He's forgotten that there even is a game, and so he sees L as someone who's been duped, who either isn't as intelligent as he's been made out to seem, or someone who's being purposefully cruel just because he can. Either way, to Yotsuba Light, L's threat level has only increased, because Light no longer has any sort of weapon to go against him with. He can't even wield his own innocence against him, because his innocence is not certain. Even to himself. Yotsuba Light knows that he has to play along with L's plays of friendship and morality in order to secure his freedom, but he does not respect L or like him. At least, not until near the end, where they're closing in on Higuchi. Where his freedom seems closer....and yet he sees his own, true innocence as more tenuous than ever. Notably, even when Light feels positively towards L there, he still does not share his suspicions about himself with him. His own life still takes precedence over any sort of justice or morality he might have, because Yotsuba Light is still Light. And Light will always put his own self-interests first.
• After killing L, something interesting happens. Because the game ends, but Kira is still left. And Light was willing to take risks and make wild plans in his game with L, but Kira's goals always, always came after his own life. And when only Kira's goals are left, Light stops taking those big, potentially lethal risks. (i.e. bomb desk trap, killing Raye Penber in person by handing him pages of the Death Note, killing Naomi Misora in person right in front of the police station, writing Higuchi's name while sitting right beside L with the murder weapon literally in his hand, etc. etc.). Winning the game was worth dying for—Kira's ideals are not. Or, to put it even more simply: His pride is worth dying for, but his morals are not. Five years after his victory against L, he's presented with another game, but instead of feeling fearful and excited as he did with L, Light is angry. Arrogant and angry. Because this isn't a game to these opponents, as it was to L—they're playing against each other, and Light is merely a piece in it. This game is not like his game with L; it's more like his "game" with the criminals of the world. One with no true challenge, just another defense of Kira's world—worth winning, but not worth dying for.
• Light's pride is more important to him than anything. He needs to be able to take pride in himself and his actions. Pride comes before everything else, before Kira, before family, before L, even before his own desires and physical health. He does not enjoy killing—he just turned it into something he could be proud of. Into another mastering of craft. Light is not particularly sadistic, he's just spiteful. He'll only take pleasure in someone's suffering if they make someone else suffer first, especially if that someone is him. Attacking his pride would count as making him suffer, because that's the most important thing in the world to him. Even though Light also values his life incredibly highly, attempting to kill him wouldn't invoke as much hell-hot wrath as attempting to humiliate him would. And Light will always get even. Always. He does not forgive and forget.
• He believes every lie he tells himself. Every. Lie. He is a Good Man. He is Good Son. He is a Savior. He is Better. He is NOT Evil, he is Good. He's incredibly adept at not only fooling other people, but fooling himself. Even if he's vaguely aware of the truth, he'll take great pains to make sure that truth never comes to light—because it would crush him.
• Light does not take his own desires into account. If he likes or wants something that contradicts with the perfect image he's crafted, he purges it from his mind. Makes excuses for why he doesn't need it, or even convinces himself very thoroughly that he didn't even want it in the first place. If it's not something he can be proud of (or convince himself to be proud of), he doesn't allow himself to desire it.
• Light sees everyone as beneath him (family notwithstanding, Light loves his family deeply), and while it's a pyramid scale of how far beneath him they are, it's not actually ranked by things like gender, sexuality, race—it's ranked by morality and intelligence. The more intelligent and moral you are, the higher up you are on the scale. Light feeling hostile towards someone does not always mean he sees them as further down beneath him; with L and Misa specifically, it means that they're a threat. Light tends to only see people near the top of the intelligence pyramid as threats; evidenced by him dismissing Matsuda completely even with the knowledge that Matsuda was a marksmen, and yet him immediately setting out to kill Naomi when he found out she figured out one of Kira's secrets. With Takada and Mikami, he treats them exactly the same as each other because they're both on the same level of the scale—and he didn't hesitate to get rid of either of them. (Or try to get rid of, in Mikami's case). Everyone is either a tool, a threat, a criminal, a citizen, or family to him. People to use (tool, criminal), people to serve and/or placate (citizen, family), and people to eliminate (threat, criminal). Everyone falls into at least one of these categories for him.
• Light Yagami is a tragic character. And he's a tragic character because he refuses to believe he's part of a tragedy. He would rather swallow broken glass than be considered a victim of anything.

How Hand Jumper Treats Gender
Most of the manga/manhwa I read default to the male gaze. I don't even mean that the female characters are needlessly sexualized, which they often are, but that they're only allowed to fill certain roles. Holy figures and healers are (young, impossibly beautiful) women, the tragic, innocent character who gets assaulted is a woman, the skimpily dressed ninja is a woman, the pure, younger sibling that needs protection is a woman, the seductive villain is a woman, the extremely powerful fighter that will nonetheless always be second in strength to the male lead is a woman. Upskirt shots and carefully framed ass/boobs panels abound. Their characterization can be shallow: especially in action and thriller series, the motivations of female characters are rarely given the same consideration that male characters receive.
Hand Jumper is different. First, female characters are taken just as seriously as male ones, in every way possible. Second, a character's gender does not influence their power level. While it's true that cis men are physically stronger than cis women in the real world, "men are always stronger than women" does not make sense in fantasy action contexts. Why are all the most powerful heroes in My Hero Academia men? Why must all the notable healers in Naruto be female ninja? In worlds where people possess honest to God magical superpowers, power is totally divorced from the density of your muscles. This is true of Hand Jumper's world as well, so it treats its characters appropriately: Male and female Aberrants fight on equal ground. As a result, some of the most prestigious Aberrant positions are held by women: Samin is the leader of the Crimson Society, Cell 4's instructor and mentor are both women, and Sayeon's mother Sara is so mysterious and so powerful that she seems close to godly. Sara's treatment is especially interesting, given that she's filling a role usually reserved for men: the mysterious, legendary parent of the protagonist who left their life when they were still a child. Think Gon's father in HxH, Baki's father in Grappler Baki, Naruto's father, the Joestars in JoJo, or Luffy's father in One Piece. In Hj, it's not the mother, but the father who is drowned out in the shadow cast by his spouse.
Personalities, fantasy power levels, and interests are not inherently gendered! So Hand Jumper doesn't treat them as gendered either. The bubbly, cheerful member of the main group is usually a girl, but this time it's Iseul Kim. The pretty, androgynous Min is both a deadly weapon and a baker of cute pastries- he picks up Sayeon in a bridal carry after a fight, and incredibly, it's not framed as a romantic gesture. Lastly, the aggressive, jaded rival to the protagonist is usually male, but this time it's Ryujin Kang. This position being filled by a female character is so unusual that I remember the comments section being filled with people mistaking Ryujin for a boy, even though she was clearly presented as a woman from the start. Part of this confusion is probably fueled by how Ryujin has a lot of… tension with Sayeon, tension usually found in heterosexual enemy-to-lover relationships. And Sayeon herself? She's on a crusade to avenge her childhood friend, a damsel in distress who died in Episode 2. Somehow, in Hand Jumper, the tragic dead lover that needs avenging is a man.

Actually you know what I need to rant about this: while literati is technically a good girl x bad boy dynamic it is written so incredibly well and avoids so many pitfalls and stereotypes that it makes a good girl x bad boy hater like myself (I’m only half joking — I don’t think any trope is inherently good or bad but I tend to dislike most pairings with this dynamic) fall head over heels for their story and relationship.
So much of what makes the two of them work is the contrast between how others perceive them and how they truly are. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of people who understand who Rory is as a person (Lorelai, Lane, Paris, Richard and Emily to a certain degree for starters), but she's constantly met with the expectation that she just does good and is supposed to make everyone proud 24/7. Stars Hollow as a group especially are big on this, as seen f. ex. through how Taylor takes Rory's one comment about an inappropriate DVD and twists the whole thing into a censorship crusade and makes Rory its poster-child even though she wants nothing to do with it and tells him so repeatedly. But instead of hearing Rory disagree with him (like he would Lorelai and Luke) he assumes that she actually agrees with him - and why shouldn't she when she's the perfect sunshine paragon of good who would never disagree with her elders? Also her grandparents treat her as incredibly fragile and childlike, like she must be too innocent to ever do anything wrong and so whenever she does something it has to be somebody else's fault (usually Lorelai, but occasionally Jess or whoever else was present). Time and time again Rory is treated like something innocent and naive and weak — but not by Jess. He sees her as a person.
And it obviously goes the other way too. Jess is treated like shit by pretty much everyone else. Either people hate him unprovoked or very much provoked (he did do a lot of pranks in his first few weeks and while I'm a Dean-hater I'm not blind to how much Jess picked fights with him), or they’ve simply given up on him. He tells Rory himself that every authority figure he had back in New York gave up on him too, from teachers to principals to his very own mother. But Rory doesn’t treat him like a lost cause, she treats him like the smart, brilliant and asshole-ish teen that he is. By having faith in him she also often holds him more accountable than others. Where f. ex. Lorelai or the other adults just roll their eyes, Rory physically drags Jess into doing his shifts at the diner. While others write him off, Rory chews Jess’ ear out for not helping Luke more and for willfully making enemies out of the Stars Hollow adults.
They don't put each other on pedestals or below each other. Jess doesn’t try to make a sinner out of Rory and she doesn’t try to make a saint out of him. There’s genuine respect between them. They expect each other to have integrity and treat others with kindness and honesty, and the rest is good old chemistry and common interests.
I particularly love how in so many of their scenes (especially pre-relationship) when they spend time alone they just get to be these goofy nerdy kids. They argue about controversial authors and dig through records shops and eat hot dogs and make fun of each other and try to make each other laugh. It’s not just sexual chemistry as it too often is in a dynamic like this (and often uncomfortably sexual when writing teenagers - looking at you Gossip Girl), and not just well written intellectual chemistry — they have platonic chemistry too. A hell of a lot of it actually.
While I don’t think ASP wrote them through a purely deconstructionist lens on the good girl x bad boy dynamic (if she did plan on writing the dynamic at all), there is something to be said about how where many around them treat them like stereotypes they treat each other like people. To so many people, Rory is a perfect small town princess, a little miss sunshine with booksmarts for days but too delicate and sweet for anything with grit and weight. To a lot of the same people and many more Jess is a pathetic brutish and maniacal lost cause, hell personified in a chainsmoking leather-wearing teenager. But to each other they are actual human beings. Kind and mean and flirtatious and scared and reckless and smart. Rory really thinks that with the right motivation and mindset Jess can be the kind who does (and at the end wrote) incredible things. Jess really believes that with a little more practice and support to step out of her comfort zone she can be the amazing journalist she wishes to be.
They don’t have this stupid «we’re so bad for each other but we can’t stay away» thing that too many trope users rely on and don’t even justify in the plot. Everyone else might think they’re not fit for each other, but they knew they were each other’s person from the very first day.

Jason Todd Imcorrect quotes (2/??)
Continuation of this post . Probably 2/2 until like, the next four years or sth
Angsty quotes I probably will add in some fic somewhen. They are also for adoption, they have no home yet. I am just very salty about this.
Bruce: we don’t kill, Jason!
Jason: why? Why can’t we? Why is this your line in the sand when there is no other fucking line you won’t cross!
Bruce: because if we do it we will be just as bad as them!
Jason: Bruce you sanctimonious fuck, I don’t want to be better! I just want to be safe!
Dick: why can’t you understand? We don’t kill! we can’t be judge, jury and executioner!
Jason: why not? We certainly don’t have judges or juries here!
Dick: just because the system is corrupt-
Jason: when I was murdered, where was my judgment? When did the judge pass the sentence, when did the jury declare him innocent? When was the dead penalty discarded?
Dick: …you know why Jason Todd could not have a public judgement
Jason: then what was it, was it private and you decided to leave my death unpunished or is he awaiting my judgement?
Dick: oh little wing-
Jason: my anger and my rage are not unjustified. They are just inconvenient for Batman’s crusade. Fuck you and your righteous fucking convenience.
Tim: you don’t understand! Bruce was broken after you died and Batman needs a robin!
Jason: I did not die. I was murdered.
Tim: I know. Bruce never got over failing to save you
Jason: why is his grief more important than my pain? Why must his needs overcome mine?
Tim: …he’s Batman
Jason: I see. so he’s not replaceable. But his robins aparently are.
Tim: no! That’s not-
Jason: better tread carefully then, replacement.
Bruce: you killed a man. You broke my rules!
Jason: and I will do it again. What will you do about it, then, big man, throw me to your justice?
Bruce: I will take you in like the rest of the criminals in this city
Jason: it will not stick. Thanks to your methods, I am a dead boy that doesn’t exist. I cannot be thrown in jail.
Bruce: you think I can’t put you under a fake Id?
Jason: you will go the extra mile to hurt me, but not for those that hurt me. Father of the year.
Now the less angsty ones. To break off with a laugh or sth
Goon 1: boss, we have a problem.
Red hood: *sighs deeply* what is it now, Fred?
Goon 1: …you know my name? There has been…a confusion in one of the orders, boss
Red hood: oh?
Goon 2: it appears someone mislabeled the… um, SEAL-quality equipment for-
*LOUD BRAYING CAN BE HEARD*
red hood: …how many live seals are in Gotham right now, Ricky
Goon 2: that;s um. a lot. Sir.
Goon 1: I think over twenty, boss
Red hood: and what am I supposed to do with 20 fucking seals?
Goon 2: I-i think they are actually an endangered species? So, so maybe you can, like, open a-
Red hood: no. No. I refuse. No. I will not end up my crime lord days to build an animal reserve. No.
Goon 1: we could also kill them sir. Their fur is expensive and crime alley could always stand to have more food
Red hood: we are not doing that.
Goon 2: I mean, we have done worse things for less money boss
Red hood: you want your ankles to be bitten to death by an angry toddler? Because this is how you get an angry toddler bit your ankles to death with his swords. Two of them.
Goon 1: is…is that a new rogue, boss?
Red hood: worse. Excuse me I gotta make a call
Red hood, on the phone: hey, baby demon, I got sth for you- what no, it’s not from Talía- shut up I do nice things for you on my own- oh fuck you habibi -you would be the bigger disappointment but you aren’t tall enough -oh? Did the baby get angry? Did the baby want a time out?- wait no, don’t pass the phone you co- yes. Hi B. No. Fuck you. No. Asshole. I’m hanging up.
The goons: …
Red hood: *picks up phone yet again* dickhead if you hang on me I swear to god I will haunt you-oh, sorry. Is dick there? Pass him the phone, please, it’s important. *a beat* dick, why did that random man pick up your phone- midnighter? And I thought I had the daddy issues. No wait! I have over 20 seals and I have to get rid of them- stop laughing you asshole!! *hangs up furiously*
Red hood: *turns to the goons* tomorrow the someone will come to pick up the seals. Probably an Atlantean. ETA 8 PM. Be ready or else *leaves*
Goons: …
Goon 1: I thought I knew how phone calls worked but apparently I don’t.
Goon 2: …me neither.

The mean streets of Gotham City have a number of guardian angels watching over them. And one of the first, the young woman who turned the Dynamic Duo into the Batman family, was Batgirl. No name strikes terror into the hearts of Gotham City's citizens quite like the Joker. In a city overrun with larger-than-life criminals, the always-laughing villain stands alone. A complete psychopath with no moral compass whatsoever, the Joker, whose real name and identity remain completely unknown, is characterized by his chalk-white skin, green hair and a permanent rictus grin stretched across his face. But there isn't a single thing funny about this particular clown, who only finds humor in the suffering of others.

Possessing a genius-level intellect, the Riddler creates elaborate, sometimes Rube Goldberg-esque traps, and is even willing to use innocent civilians as bait. Although not physically imposing, the Riddler's brilliance, neurosis and lack of empathy make him an incredibly dangerous foe. He cares very little, if at all, about the lives of those he uses in his plots and instead only sees them as disposable pawns in his continuing intellectual battle against Batman.

Upon finishing S3//Ep2 of Moral Orel, “Innocence”, Orel’s morals finally clicked for me
As happens in a show this narratively rich, I looked around at some of the close-by chatter under comment sections. People were making these observations about how Orel seemingly just goes out of his way to interpret all of the lessons he’s given in the least charitable and most nonsensical way. Not an invalid view, and for the first good part of the show, you think this is just the function of an over the top comedic bit for the formula of each episode. It’s easy to ask how on earth a seemingly kind hearted, well meaning kid like this can be THAT devoid of the basic logical implications of what he hears, or any common moral intuition that virtually everyone has, right?
Orel’s not a stupid kid. But the entire problem with him up to the point thus far is that he legit DOES NOT in fact have that intuition we expect most people, even children to have. That knee-jerk repulsion to obviously harmful actions. That really vital sense of conscience. No, I don’t mean he’s some kind of psychopath. He has a bright and almost sickeningly sweet heart and it was part of how he broke the cycle despite everything. I mean that Orel has not had a coherent moral compass modeled to him through his earlier development. His ethical axioms are ALL rooted in divine command theory. To put it simply, he doesn’t believe “god is good”, he believes “goodness” itself is “what god says is good”. Most Christians, hell, most religious people generally do not literally, consciously operate in this way, and usually even the ones that do are (mostly) still functionally average people, because usually they were at least consistently conditioned to believe that axioms like human well-being are what God commands. To at least a fortunate degree, human empathy and socialization usually is allowed to and even encouraged to develop under mainstream religious upbringings.
You notice the glaring difference though when you see what happens to people who are molded entirely by Divine Command Theory and then become convinced that their God’s divine command is something that doesn’t happen to line up with conventionally good ideals, like those given earlier. This is what destructive cults do. This is what makes crusades. This is what causes anti-sodomy laws and stoning people to death for eating the wrong kind of fish or not wearing the right clothing to happen.
Understand that this is the hinge that Orel’s whole sense of right and wrong up to this point swings on. What it means is that this little boy can, and will, justify or excuse any and all directions given to him so long as he trusts the adult talking to him as someone who speaks for God. This combined with his craving for approval, plus the fact that he’s also had it drilled in his head to never question or doubt his elders’ wisdom makes for a child zealot that is dangerously easy to manipulate to do ANYTHING and with fanatical determination. It is less than no additional help that the Puppingtons (and the majority of the townsfolk) have never been golden examples for healthy social modeling, as well. Like, sure, he’s getting glimmers of actual goodness in there such as the Jesus loves you so love yourself and help thy neighbors messaging, but it’s being inconsistently contradicted by and juggled alongside at same hierarchical importance as “lessons” like beat the shit out of people who make fists, segregate the brown people, and be terrified of the same authority you expect safety and comfort from. Why on earth is it shocking that Orel seemingly has no sense of scale or priority when it comes to the rules? The rules he’s given are subject to constant and chaotic updates and are all treated with the same gravity. Follow X and you will be promised infinite reward. Disobey X and you will be met with infinite retribution. Not just even in a spiritual heaven and hell sense, but here in life too. Clay delivers the same punishment for getting hooked on crack or becoming a serial rapist that he does for the “sin” of using slang vernacular and meditating to relieve stress.
Everything that defines his life and virtues is a matter of constant anxiety and eagerness in order to appease a patriarchal tyrant that is portrayed as both ultimately benevolent and wise,
yet incredibly vindictive, sadistic, irrational, and petty.
And I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this description can equally apply to Moralton’s conception of God and a certain alcoholic father.
No kidding when I say that Orel has so little consistent input to actually steer him in the right direction that it’s incredibly sad, to the point where he’s extremely fortunate to actually have such an optimistic and compassionate inclination at all. It only seems ridiculous how he can’t see obvious suffering and even personal detriment as any red flags to hesitate or question an action, until you remember that he’s so been domestically broken by Clay and his church that his Pavlovian response to pain is either gratitude, mild inconvenience, or, masochistic euphoria.
Nonetheless, all of this only backfires on every adult in Moralton because the one thing they can’t control or account for 24/7 is exactly how he interprets what they say, even when he’s trying his best to follow their command. It’s like a twisted Amelia Bedelia situation with him that no one actually wants to deal with, even though they all (except Stephanie) collectively played a part in creating this monster.
Censordoll was the first one who was smart and ambitious enough to see the potential for Orel’s blind subservience to be weaponized, and of freaking course she was.
Thing is, you bet the ONLY reason she stopped was because she also lost control of him, and we all know what the consequence of that was. He unintentionally yet absolutely destroyed her in the only weak point she has, yet exactly like Clay did during the “turn the other cheek” incident, she trapped herself in a situation where she couldn’t swallow her own pride in the name of reversing the damage.
What I guess I’m explaining here is that Orel’s collection of constant shenanigans, unknowingly, yet effectively, is literally a manifestation of the community’s own complete moral bankruptcy biting them back in the ass, and possibly even a divine punishment for it, depending on how you interpret the writing. Which is a HELL of a phenomenal, subtle twist to his whole premise that doesn’t abandon the original joke/satire, but instead builds upon it and adds a chasm of depth and intention.
PRETTY GREAT, HUH?~

The Hypocrisy of Alicent
Alicent's vendetta against Rhaenyra is propped up very nicely by her fear for her children's lives.... But has Rhaenyra ever done anything, said anything to even suggest that she would hurt Aegon, Aemond or Helaena?
Far as we can see, Alicent is the one putting kids in danger. Her attack dog on a leash, Criston openly bullies Jace & Luke in training while favouring Aegon & Aemond. Alicent can't go one minute without letting malicious comments about the boys, their looks...
Without Alicent, we see the four boys getting along just fine. Yes, there's teasing but it's all in good fun & mostly innocent. Until Alicent begins poisoning the well between the 4. She claims Rhaenyra's boys, much younger than her own are "animals" after the Pig Prank which Aegon was ringleader, even though Aegon should be setting a better example.
Aegon is a liar and a deviant, and a soon-to-be father of bastards by the way he keeps ogling the serving girls. Alicent will of course be blind to his faults.
But ask her what her crusade is and she'll say that if Rhaenyra becomes Queen, she'll murder Aegon & his siblings.
Yes, Otto planted the seed in her mind, but Alicent has watered it with her envy & bad faith.

THE BATMAN/BRUCE WAYNE
"I am vengeance."
After witnessing the demise of his parents as a young boy, Bruce Wayne was forever scarred by this event and dedicated a great majority of his life to finding out how he can entirely remove crime from Gotham City. He spent his teenage years studying psychology, traveled the the world as a young adult to learn martial arts, spent a great amount of time perfecting what he learned when he returned to Gotham, and had put some of his own resources into making a special suit and some weaponry. By the time he was ready, Bruce Wayne had actively disappeared from public life, and had embraced his new identity as "The Batman." As Batman, Bruce would travel the streets of Gotham, leaving criminals of many types beaten, battered, and exposed for all of the city to see, becoming an urban legend in the process. Not even some of the corrupt cops were safe. However as time would begin to pass, Bruce would begin to see the rise of a new breed of criminal in his first few months as the ever-so terrifying Batman, and would begin to see how much deeper the corruption in Gotham ran. He would never give up on his mission, but he's slowly beginning to realize that this one man crusade he's on might be tougher than he realized.
Yep. This is my re-interpretation of Batman, and from what I have written in my own mind so far, he's going to go through an arc where he starts out as "vengeance," punishing criminals, installing fear in them before leaving them for the police, and fighting this one-man war on crime. Then after realizing that he cannot truly do this alone, he allows his butler and surrogate father, Alfred, and Captain Jim Gordon to assist him in his endeavors, and as more time would begin to pass he would develop into less of a symbol of fear for all of Gotham, and more a of symbol of hope for the innocents in Gotham. As this evolution would take place, Bruce himself would begin getting somewhat better in the head overtime.
In-case you cannot tell, this is my more idealized take on the "Batman Timeline" which is based entirely on the arcs of Battinson and the Lego Batman, and some parts of the DCAU's Batman lifeline. Starting out as a young and angry man trying to literally eradicate crime as a whole by himself that fears losing people that he cares for all over again, and ending as an old man who's managed to finally get some of his own problems resolved and is a better person because of it, even if he can never truly "fix" himself.
As for the character of good 'ol Batsy, it's pretty much what you'd expect. Cold, calculating, distant, persistent, skeptical, manipulative if he wants to be, dedicated to his goal, and overall a jackass on the outside. Yet despite having a lot of negatives, Bruce still has some level of compassion and empathy, and overtime he begins to show that to those who need it. He's also not that much of a socialite, but after go back into the public occasionally AS Bruce Wayne, he tries his best to fake being a slick billionaire with not much to worry about, but he has occasional cracks of his true self slip.
And before you point it out, yes his design is inspired by the Keaton suit, however the cowl has red lenses and it covers his entire face. Also it's armored in a similar way to the Battinson suit underneath that cape. As for Bruce's design, the suit is an inverse of his nemesis's colors (We'll get to him later), and I wanted him to look active and colorful, while also looking sleep deprived and dying on the inside.
I hope I expressed my vision clear enough for MY Batman. I thought this up for funnies, and not like actual writing purposes (I already have a project), but if I were to take an attempt at writing the Bat, it would be similar to what I spoke about here.

Ooooh, only a couple of months... I've been here for over five years now. >3> I'm in SO DEEP. Welcome to the fandom, though! I'm super happy you stuck with the manga enough to end up making a blog. And yeah, the beginning half really has a different tone to it... in a way, it's a standalone story, kind of?? Now, for more questions! Who are your favorite characters, and why? What do you think of the art style? How would you have ended the story, if you could diverge from canon?
dang! i think my longest running fandom time is 10 years- my 10th year anniversary being this year in november/december !
1) hmmm. now it has been a while since i have read innocents again, but i remember becoming slightly attached to the diseased boy. REMY! REMY. yes i did go back and look. idk he just wanted to get better (´;ω;`) also christian. idk i think his kind of investigative personality paired with his obsessive behaivour is interesting.
2) art style doesnt really sway what i read. Furuyas is kind of unique though! i only heavily dislike 1) 2000s shoujou manga and 2) 2000s yaoi. those styles are ugly! throwing them in the waste bin.
3) this is a loaded question _φ(・_・ lets see,,, 100% taking the hugo stuff out. also taking out isabelle. i dont think isabelle had a huge influence on the plot. i would also take out michaels whole sub plot of his dad wanting to be pope. i would change this to simply being his church wanting total control and the children crusaders were hindering that.
as for changing hugo, after his more capitalistic tendencies are revealed to the group, they would begin to second guess why everyone else is with them. a “if this person betrayed me how do XYZ think?” something this big- these boys coming from a small community to having to trust strangers- would drastically change their way of thinking.
for isabelle, there honestly was no need for her plot wise. the issues she brought up would eventually come to light with the whole hugo thing. really i believe she was there to be a reference to the virgin mary.
i hope this answers your questions ! (*´꒳`*)

Owlcatober Day 6 - Family: Memories
The painting captured a moment so unburdened, so joyful, and free of the darkness that would soon erase the light and leave a deep, bleeding crack never to be fully closed again. Silaena’s golden hair shined in the sun, as warm as her loving smile. She could almost hear her gentle voice, encouraging her boy, telling him stories, laughing with him. By Iomedae, he had been so young. So innocent. His tiny hands gripped the seesaw in fearless glee. Time was a troublesome concept that tended to slip her mind in the center of this ongoing war, this ongoing battle. Years, decades of tragedy, and she herself the chosen idol of it all. Timeless. Unchanging. While the world around her moved forward and forward without any stopping. It never had been her decision. But it had been her duty. She wore the loneliness with the same determined pride as her crown. And still, in some secret moments, she wondered if, at any point, it would have been possible not to carry it all alone. It was a naïve, unreasonable thought and she should not be ungrateful, for Iomedae was always at her side. Family had become a foreign, faraway memory. She remembered her pain over the tragedy at Heaven’s Edge like a still throbbing scar when she allowed it, while, simultaneously, she felt removed from it all with her focus forced to stay on the big picture, not a single detail of it. Would she have been able to do more for the little traumatized boy, the one single survivor of the massacre, her only living relative? She remembered a time when he had looked at her with excitement and admiration in those green, glowing eyes, behind his charming, mischievous smiles. But eventually, in becoming older, he had grown more distant, more disdainful, and outright crude in his jokes, his diversions, and every area of his life. If there was good left in him, he didn’t show it, didn't allow it. Was it – at least partly – her failure too? Would they have been able to give each other some solace in their loneliness? If she had been there for him a little more … But there was no room for distractions of this very kind. In her ever-lasting role as the queen, the leader of the crusades, her attention had been needed elsewhere, and he – born into a place that demanded to take responsibility too, if only he wouldn't ignore it – should have been able to understand, should have been strong enough to carry it. Queen Galfrey sighed and straightened her posture when she turned away from the painting. Enough of the mournful musings. Her duties awaited her.

Chapter 31 ~ the rabbit ~
Tumblr media Tumblr media
William remembers the day he’d met the rabbit.
Not even a decade old and already full of dreams. His imagination had always run wild. He had spent the majority of his youth outdoors. How funny to think of that now. How much things have changed.
Eight year old William Afton loves the back yard with its tall trees and sprawling lawn and the tidy rows of his mother’s vegetable garden. That space was the perfect backdrop for adventure. He invents so many stories and characters, studying the world around him with the innocence and wonder that only a child can have. He’s just finished a crusade past the neat lines of carrots and lettuce and parsley when he sees it.
The rabbit is wild; small, brown, young. Nose twitching gently, dark button eyes regarding him solemnly. The natural instinct to flee from a potential predator seems absent as he cautiously approaches, not wanting to startle it. The nose stills. The boy’s fingers stretch and gently stroke between the eyes. Soft. So incredibly soft, and warm. The nose moves again. He gently rubs between the ears that are still little, just gentle miniature curves for now.
He eases down into the grass, sitting cross legged and the rabbit struggles to hop and climb into his lap. He laughs in surprise and delight, assisting the little bunny. So easy to tame, just like that. He cradles the fragile creature and continues to stroke the fur.
The summer sun is warm on his skin.
***
Your hands caress William’s features. You’re warm and soft against him, lying on the windshield underneath the stars on a perfect summer evening. “I love you.”
Oh. He hasn’t heard those words in so long. Had stopped believing in them. Regarded them as a sign of weakness.
Were they actually, though? What if he wanted to believe again? Wanted to feel…
He does feel, and that knowledge surprises him. He’s lied for so long about so many things. But this emotion is not a lie. There is no selfish motive behind the desire to give voice to it. He wants nothing other than to be able to say it; gift it as sincerely as you have to him.
Let yourself go.
He shudders and tucks his face into the space where your neck and shoulder join. He thinks of the soft, fragile creature he’d held in his arm that summer day so long ago. “I love you,” he whispers.
***
“I remember you,” William says quietly.
Of course there is no doubt. You are the girl he’d intended to murder nine years ago. The lost child at the edges of the crowded room, ignored and unwanted. He’d wanted you. Wanted to drag you with him into the darkness.
But you’d escaped. He’d been clumsier then. Inexperienced. That’s what had saved your life.
Imagine if he had been successful. You wouldn’t be here beside him right now.
“What do you mean?” Your voice is hushed, wary.
He cannot tell you. Admitting the truth would mean losing what he’s just regained. “I remember seeing a young girl in the back rooms. I wondered why she was there. Sometimes people try to sneak a peak behind the scenes, but she seemed terrified. I never found out why, just saw her go back to the party. It must have been you.”
“Liar.”
William’s eyes dart to the rearview mirror.
The yellow rabbit’s eyes glow brightly. “If you don’t tell her the truth, I will.”
Let me have this. Please, just let me have her. I don’t want to hurt her.
“You destroy everything you touch. Do you really think this will be any different?”
It’s not true. The rabbit…I kept it safe. I loved it. I love her.
“Let me out.”
The older man clamps a hand over the mirror, leaning towards you.
“William? Are you alright? You seem…”
“I’m so glad you weren’t hurt. So happy you’re with me.” His mouth closes over yours. “Tell me again how you feel about me,” he urges. His chest aches. The hand still clutching the mirror tightens.
“I love you,” you respond breathlessly. Your lips leave a trail of kisses on his face, moving across his forehead, nose, cheeks, jaw. “I love you so much, William.” Your mouth rediscovers his.
The mirror cracks.
William glances at it warily as he relaxes his grip, easing back into his seat.
The yellow rabbit is gone.
Chapter 32 ~ genesis ~
You watch William struggle to fit the key to his front door in the lock.
You cover his hand with your own and he grows still. Not rigid like earlier, when you’d shared your vague memories of the incident at the restaurant; but soft, relaxed, limp. Letting you guide him. His reaction to your musings still puzzles you. He’d seemed almost afraid.
The door pushes open with a sigh. You don’t make it past the kitchen before his hands come around you and his mouth finds yours. The lights are still off, the only illumination in the room from the moon spilling into the windows. He pushes you back towards the counter. You reach out to brace yourself to maintain your balance and you find something metal. The handle of a butcher knife.
“I want you to cut me again,” you pant against his ear. You’re addicted to it. There is no longer any fear. You just want, want, want.
You feel his body tense, the feverish kisses dissipating. “I didn’t mean to leave that out.” He sounds doubtful, as if he can’t recollect even doing so. “It wasn’t meant to be a hint. You don’t have to do that tonight…”
“I need it,” you insist, dragging his hand over to the handle, your body writhing impatiently against his. “Please, William. I want to bleed for you. I want your mouth on me, drinking from me…” The hand beneath yours trembles. “I trust you. I love you. Let me show you how much.”
The older man moans softly and you feel his fingers close around the handle. He grabs a fistful of the camisole top you’re wearing and punctures a hole with the blade, tearing the fabric open, exposing your chest to him. You fumble for the opening of your shorts, shoving them down, your panties moving right along with them. A quick pair of movements to step out of them and kick off your shoes and then your hand moves back to his occupied one, guiding the sharp edge to rest along your abdomen.
“Please, William.”
Another moan. The blade strokes against your skin. The blood that drips down is so warm. You’re on fire.
The knife clatters back onto the counter. William falls to his knees before you, a supplicant before an altar. Licks along the cut. Plants kisses along your stomach and hips and parts your legs with his tongue, pushing through to taste your pussy. You arch against him. Slide your fingers through the sticky hot blood and feed it to him.
“Fuck me,” you plead and he does, with his mouth and his fingers but it’s not enough, you want his cock buried in you, filling you up. He lifts you onto the counter and you open his pants and he thrusts into you, one hand braced against the overhead cabinet. You wrap your legs around him, rutting against him, sucking and biting his bottom lip. “You feel so good…” You feel around blindly for the knife again. You want to mark him and taste him, take him into you in every way possible. “Take your shirt off. I want to feel you against me.” You’re used to him taking the lead but tonight you’ve slipped into the role and you’re drunk off the power of it, watching him obey you. He pulls the shirt over his head and you immediately lap at whatever you can reach, laving with your tongue, teeth scraping. His skin is salted, delicious.
Now you want that special taste of metal.
There’s something almost blasphemous about the line you carve under his ribs. Adam’s donation to create Eve, his one true love, his heart’s desire. You’re made for him, for this, exultant when the heat flows over your fingers. He thrusts forward and his cock and the knife go deeper but you keep the kitchen tool steady. He wants this. You want it, too.
A cloud shifts outside and the light now focuses on William’s body. His blood looks black. An achromatic blotch of spilled ink. The exact shade of his eyes when he looks at you and wants. You bring your stained fingers between your mouths and you both lap at the taste. He grabs your hips and fucks you faster, harder. He’s shaking violently. Soaked in sweat and the blood you’ve painted him in. You tighten around him, the tang of copper heavy on your tongue when he spills into you.
Chapter 33 ~ monster ~
William looks down at your slumbering form.
He knows the exact moment when the yellow rabbit reappears, not even sparing him a glance, his gaze remaining focused on you.
“Look at the monster you’ve created.”
She’s not. It’s me. It’s always been me. I’m the monster.
“A rare instance of honesty at last.” The rabbit chuckles darkly. “I did warn you. Both of you, for whatever good it did. You destroy everything you touch. You’ve utterly corrupted her. Why delay any longer?”
William’s eyes flick upward. The rabbit’s decaying face is pressed close to the looking glass in the corner of the bedroom. There is nothing left of the kinder design he’d modeled after that cherished wild rabbit from his childhood.
“Not yet.” He forgets to respond in his mind and you stir, murmuring his name. “Nothing. Go back to sleep, love.” He reaches out to stroke your shoulder and winces when the movement tugs the newly formed scab along his ribs. The wound was deep, nearly needing sutures. He’d been reckless.
“You should wake the children. I’m sure she’d enjoy meeting them.”
Afton inhales sharply. I said not yet.
“I grow tired of this waiting. You’ve kept me locked up for far too long. I want to speak to her again.”
No.
“Can’t you hear it? The blood sings to us…”
No.
“Remnant. The promise of forever.”
No. His fingers knot in the sheets.
“Will you bring her with you into eternity?”
“I said no!”
“William.” You sit upright, struggling against the tangle of sheets and blankets. “What’s going on?”
He heaves a shuddering sigh. “I’m sorry. Bad dream.”
“Turn off the light and come here.” He switches off the bedside lamp and lets you pull him back down with you. After a time he hears your breathing slow. You’re asleep once more.
He stares sightlessly into the darkness until the room becomes gray with the coming dawn.

Hi! Could you please tell us more about your Homestuck AU please? (Or any of them if you prefer, but I’m really curious about your rendition on JJBA(GW) x HS since it’s mixing my two specific interests)
Anyway, good luck!
Funny enough, the HS AU is one that covers multiple Jojo Parts!! Specifically parts 1-6! Lemme go copy and paste the info for it from Google Docs because oh boy sjcbfjf
Phantom Blood
Jonathan - Page of Space, Prospit
Dio - Witch of Time, Derse
Will - Heir of Light, Prospit
Speedwagon - Page Blood, Derse
Erina - Maid of Life, Prospit
Battle Tendency
Joseph - Seer of Mind, Derse
Caesar - Knight of Heart, Prospit
Lisa Lisa - Knight of Rage, Derse
(The pillarmen are trolls who made their way to Earth from Alternia to conquer the planet. There's no time shenanigans, they're just there to take over and add to the Alternian Empire)
Kars - Fuschia, Heir of Life, Derse
Esidisi - Violet, Prince of Blood, Prospit
Wamuu - Indigo, Rogue of Heart, Prospit
Santana - Teal, Mage of Mind, Prospit
Joseph being Mind and Caesar being Heart, being two sides of the same coin while also picking up where the other lacks. Joseph, despite being a mind player, starts off by being more driven by his emotions and heart and being reckless, but because during their session and as he trains with Lisa Lisa and Caesar he learns to be in tune with his Mind aspect and he begins to make more rational, strategic decisions. This leads him to choose not to go rushing into battle to beat the Pillarmen. Caesar, on the other hand, is his complete opposite. He starts off thinking much more logically and decisively, and though he had already started to align with his aspect it's not until he trains with and grows closer to Joseph that he fully realizes what it means to be a Heart player. However, because of his growth it causes him to be more emotionally driven and he runs off to beat the Pillarmen only to be defeated by Wamuu.
Stardust Crusaders
Jotaro - Witch of Time, Derse
Kakyoin - Page of Space, Prospit
Polnareff - Knight of Hope, Prospit
Avdol - Seer of Heart, Derse
Iggy - Sprite, Prototyped with a handful of sand by Polnareff
Stardust Crusaders takes place in the universe created by Dio and Jonathan when they won their session in Phantom Blood! The reason why it's not in a Universe created by Joseph is because he didn't actually end up winning his session in Battle Tendency. Instead, Joseph uses his Seer of Mind abilities to figure out hos to pull a Scratch out his ass somehow even without a Time or Space player. He uses Caesar's bandana to protect his soul (because Caesar was a Heart player) and is able to stay alive and keep his memories post-scratch. The reason Dio is also still alive after the Scratch is because of Enya.
In the Stardust Crusaders session, Dio steals the black queen's ring and becomes the Main Enemy the Crusaders have to beat in order to win the game. Jotaro does so after godtiering and gaining access to his Witch of Time powers (which are ofc the same as Dio's) and he clutches it for Polnareff and Joseph in order to win their game and claim the Ultimate Reward.
Diamond is Unbreakable
Josuke - Maid of Time, Prospit
Okuyasu - Prince of Space, Derse
Koichi - Page of Blood, Prospit
Yukako - Knight of Rage, Derse
Yoshikage Kira - Lord of Void, Derse
Reimi Sugimoto - Muse of Hope, Prospit
For some reason I imagine Reimi and Kira somehow ended up in a two-player session where Kira killed Reimi and abandoned his own session and made it to Josuke’s timeline by traversing the Void. He wanted to simply live his life until he realized that Josuke and his friends had started a new session and again used his Void powers to survive and now trying to get to another timeline so he can live a peaceful life. However, Reimi’s dream self is still alive and she talks to Josuke and his friends when they sleep and tells them about Kira. They then try to find Kira in order to stop him from going to another timeline and killing innocent girls.
They also don't win their game, but Josuke teams up with Jotaro and they use their Time powers to transport the group to a timeline of Morioh where none of them played the game!
Vento Aureo
Giorno - Sylph of Life, Derse
Bruno - Knight of Space, Prospit
Leone - Seer of Time, Derse
Fugo - Bard of Rage, Derse
Mista - Knight of Light, Prospit
Narancia - Rogue of Doom, Prospit
Trish - Witch of Space, Derse
Diavolo - Prince of Time, Derse
Doppio - Seer of Time, Prospit
Ironically, I don't have many thoughts on how the Vento Aureo session would go! Sorry about that.
Stone Ocean
Jolyne - Maid of Doom, Prospit
Ermes -  Knight of Blood, Derse
Foo - Maid of Heart, Prospit
Anasui - Thief of Space, Derse
Weather - Heir of Breath, Derse
Emporio - Page of Hope, Prospit
Pucci - Page of Time, Derse
I also haven't thought much about the Stone Ocean session, but I know for sure that Pucci's Made in Heaven would be him just Scratching the universe. Emporio would be the only one to retain his memories through his Page of Hope powers, and because he also wished for all of his friends to still be in the scratched universe it leads to Irene and Anakiss and all the alternate versions if them!
idk if I'll ever include SBR, Jojolion, or Jojolands but I'll reblog this post with those additions if I do!
