EDIT: According to @realm-of-clouds these are AI generated pictures. Finding it hard to know what is true and what isn't nowadays.

cc!leo and the way love and distrust go hand in hand for him. how he guards his own heart in an attempt to protect the person he cares about the most and that's his own undoing-- how that's both of their undoing. how he sees trust on donnie's end as too much, something he doesn't deserve and something he took for granted. how out of everything that's the one thing he will never ask for, and he's so quick to withhold information to protect donnie's heart in turn (hell, he does it to raph too, and by taking leadership he's quicker to hold up the weight on his own instead of sharing it).
and how this contrasts with how leo before this point spent his whole life begging for the trust of others, for his family to just believe in him for once. and now he fails to see the independence he's developed as a sign that his trust in other people, and in donnie, has been broken, and because of that he doesn't realize that it hurts them until he has to confront it violently head-on. (he doesn't even realize that in a lot of ways its the other side of the coin from how he was under the curse)
it is almost one am. ummmmmmm

I read my very first Agatha Christie murder mystery knowing only two things: she likes Secret Identities, and she likes Red Herrings. And I only managed to guess one thing right. My only clout is that I realised it within the first few chapters, but only because i had the benefit of omniscience whilst Poirot literally had to be asleep to miss the clue. Lmao.
I was wrong about literally everything else though. Hah.

BITCHES FROM ALDERAAN AND CHANDRILLA WHO HAVE BEEN ON THIS PLANET FOR A VERY LONG TIME ARE BEING MANIPULATED BY OTHERS IN MANY WAYS INCLUDING THROUGH INFORMATION MANIPULATION SUCH AS PROVIDING INCORRECT DATA, WHICH IS EASIER BECAUSE BITCHES LIKE THEM DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO DEVICES ON THIS PLANET. CRIMINALS WANT TO KEEP THE BITCHES FROM ALDERAAN AND CHANDRILLA HERE TO USE THEM AND WE WANT THEM TO LEAVE THIS PLANET IMMEDIATELY.

How close to the clouds will the new cities reach?
Tumblr media
Man has always wanted to soar high into the clouds. The dream of building a building that would reach the sky seemed more realistic than flying, and the prospect of living as high as possible has fueled the architecture of the most important buildings in cities for many centuries. For centuries, the tallest buildings were the towers of Gothic churches and the minarets of mosques. The tallest towers of European medieval colossi were over 100m. The record height was achieved by the cathedral in Ulm (Germany), and the most monumental temple in terms of area was, among others, the Gothic temple in Gdańsk (Poland) or the famous Notre Dame in Paris. In the following centuries, nothing matched the craftsmanship and scale of these buildings.
Tumblr media
The turn of the 19th and 20th centuries (the so-called "belle Époque") brought many inventions and new building materials. After many centuries, monumental Gothic cathedrals slowly began to surpass the first skyscrapers. The oldest skyscrapers (the term itself is relative) were built in US cities at the end of the 19th century. In Europe, in the interwar period, the tallest buildings were in cities such as Warsaw (Prudential hotel), Torengebouw in Antwerp or Torre Piacentini in Genoa.Today we are crossing the next boundaries of what seemed impossible; in Dubai, after the construction of the famous Burj Khalifa, which reached a gigantic height of 828 meters, the next record is to be the Dubai Creek tower, most likely exceeding 1000 meters in height.Dubai already looks like a city of the future, and large-scale projects of new, increasingly futuristic cities are also being created in other countries, on a larger scale also in China. This raises the question of what the future will bring, how high will we reach the sky through the architecture of cities in the near and distant future?

Time for a new edition of my ongoing vendetta against Google fuckery!
Hey friends, did you know that Google is now using Google docs to train it's AI, whether you like it or not? (link goes to: zdnet.com, July 5, 2023). Oh and on Monday, Google updated it's privacy policy to say that it can train it's two AI (Bard and Cloud AI) on any data it scrapes from it's users, period. (link goes to: The Verge, 5 July 2023). Here is Digital Trends also mentioning this new policy change (link goes to: Digital Trends, 5 July 2023). There are a lot more, these are just the most succinct articles that might explain what's happening.
FURTHER REASONS GOOGLE AND GOOGLE CHROME SUCK TODAY:
Stop using Google Analytics, warns Sweden’s privacy watchdog, as it issues over $1M in fines (link goes to: TechCrunch, 3 July 2023) [TLDR: google got caught exporting european users' data to the US to be 'processed' by 'US government surveillance,' which is HELLA ILLEGAL. I'm not going into the Five Eyes, Fourteen Eyes, etc agreements, but you should read up on those to understand why the 'US government surveillance' people might ask Google to do this for countries that are not apart of the various Eyes agreements - and before anyone jumps in with "the US sucks!" YES but they are 100% not the only government buying foreign citizens' data, this is just the one the Swedes caught. Today.]
PwC Australia ties Google to tax leak scandal (link goes to: Reuters, 5 July 2023). [TLDR: a Russian accounting firm slipped Google "confidential information about the start date of a new tax law leaked from Australian government tax briefings." Gosh, why would Google want to spy on governments about tax laws? Can't think of any reason they would want to be able to clean house/change policy/update their user agreement to get around new restrictions before those restrictions or fines hit. Can you?
SO - here is a very detailed list of browsers, updated on 28 June, 2023 on slant.com, that are NOT based on Google Chrome (note: any browser that says 'Chromium-based' is just Google wearing a party mask. It means that Google AND that other party has access to all your data). This is an excellent list that shows pros and cons for each browser, including who the creator is and what kinds of policies they have (for example, one con for Pale Moon is that the creator doesn't like and thinks all websites should be hostile to Tor).

I watched plenty of AI going sentient movies lately, I love the hell out of Detroit Become Human, and my conclusion is?
Being human, being sentient, is all about not doing stuff just because you do not feel like doing it. No particular reason, just because.
