Happy pride month. I don't get to celebrate much because I'm currently homeless with my family. Two of my sisters, my mom, her mom, and I are all just trying to make it by. We've all been in abusive situations recently and are trying to escape these cycles of abuse. I swear I'm on here constantly begging for help to keep us afloat as we're being tugged down. We deal with so much bullshit on a day to day basis if I didn't live it, I wouldn't believe it. We have people stalking us, stealing from us, trying to take advantage of my sisters car. All we want to do is have a roof over our heads, piece our family back together, and never be bothered by our abusers ever again. One was in jail but is getting out this month. The other is supposed to be going to jail but is evading the police and hiding my other sister. She is disabled and non-verbal, and is being physically and emotionally abused. It is torture knowing that no one is protecting her but everyone is protecting her abuser. We're drowning over here just trying to get on steady ground once again. Tonight we have nowhere to sleep and will probably run out of gas. We're running low on sleep because every night we're unsure where the hell we're going to sleep. This heat is killing us. And every step we take forward, we're knocked ten feet back. This isn't a battle we can afford to lose but we are. We just need help. If you can spare a dollar or two, maybe even five, it makes a difference. A dollar can be the difference between shelter, having money for food, or making sure we don't run out of gas on the side of the road. I'm putting a large amount down, because it's how much we do need to just keep going. I don't expect anyone to give us the full amount. Not with this economy. But if you have a dollar you can throw our way, and you do. Well, that'll mean the world to us. This is so long, and probably repetitive but I am exhausted and just trying to make it to the next day. It’s Pride Month — a time for love, identity, courage, and chosen family. And this year, I’m celebrating it not just with hope, but with desperation too.

My name is Mike Cedrick. I’m a proud ally, a loving boyfriend, and right now, I’m terrified. My girlfriend Tenshi, a beautiful, strong, trans woman, is battling Stage 2 Sepsis and bacterial tonsillitis. The doctors say it could take up to 8 months of continuous treatment, regular checkups, and strict medication for her to fully recover from her Sepsis.

We don’t have 8 months’ worth of funds.

We barely have enough left for the next few weeks.

I’m still working, doing my best to support my family and cover her medication, food, and basic needs — but the truth is, we’re drowning. Her emergency care has already bled us dry, and we haven’t received a single new donation in over a week. That first and only gift we received — $21.50 — was a ray of hope. It reminded us that someone out there cared.

But since then… nothing. And time is running out.

This Pride, while others are out celebrating — which they absolutely deserve to do — I’m sitting here by my phone, checking the fundraiser page, praying for a miracle. Not because we’re greedy. But because I’m scared to lose her.

Tenshi is everything to me. She’s not just “my girlfriend.” She’s my home. My heart. The person who makes me believe in brighter days. We’ve already been through so much — distance, sickness, financial hardship — and she’s still here, fighting. All she wants is to live, heal, and finish her studies.

I don’t know what else to do except keep asking, hoping, and loving her loudly.

We are the family of Shorouq and Mohamed, forced to leave Gaza, and now we find ourselves in Egypt, trying to stay strong. But each passing day brings greater challenges.

This bitter winter, while many gather around warmth in their homes, there are families in Gaza sleeping under tents that provide neither shelter from the rain nor protection from the cold. but in all seriousness, its actually because when i was presented with the list of summons to pick from, i remembered that my mother’s maiden name is 雷, which is the chinese character meaning ‘thunder’!!! its like fate 😂 i had to do this take on ramuh’s design.

i wanted to imagine a future game that has more representation and inspiration from my heritage ��

and fun fact: the design of the staff in her hand is actually inspired by an old oracle character version of the word 雷.
