Multi-21/Sebastian and Mark in general are not the same thing as Brocedes. It must be said.

Multi-21 is a Comedic Horror that bombs at the box office because the leads hated each other and only had chemistry when fighting, but it has an insane cult following that is so strong it gets a sequel made but the sequel is bad in a different way because the next gen like each other (Charles adopting Oscar.)

Brocedes is Succession. Toto is Logan Roy. This famous leader who revolutionized the company, the team, but is slowly losing credibility (Toto won't stop talking about Max; Wants to bring in Kimi), Nico is Kendall, the golden boy everyone thought would take over one day. Lewis is Tom, the one who comes in and actually takes over, the one who is disarmingly handsome and charming, but a dagger in the back. It Is your friends, your lovers who have the capability to hurt you the most.

Prince had asked Matt to call over when he had a chance, so they cold talk. He hadn’t spoken to him much in the last few weeks, nor had he explained why he sent Pandora to stay at his. He’d had countless talks (and arguments) with Luna about his mother’s presence in his life but Matt and Panda had been kept in the dark. He hoped Matt didn’t mind how long he made Panda stay. When Prince went and rented his mother an apartment for herself, Pandora came home but he still wasn’t honest with either of them about what had been going on. It was so easy for him to turn the discussion into an argument or a sob-story with Luna, so he found himself wanting to talk to Matt about it. That was weird for Prince considering he didn’t really like to talk to anyone about anything. He trusted Matt, sure, but that didn’t mean Prince felt the need to open up about every little thing. Hence why he waited so long to share his relationship status with Luna. His front door was open, like it often was so he heard Matt come in and call his name. “Hey.” Prince called back from the kitchen. He was standing at the back door, smoking, blowing the smoke outside to avoid stinking up the kitchen.

In band we’ve started doing these little affirmations for kindergarteners or like, little kids. There have been two so far. The first one is a cheesy little thing where you hold one hand up as a cheese grater and the other as the block of cheese and you go,” You did grate grate grate grate grate!!”

And the second one is similar; making a patty on the stove and checking it until it’s “well done!”

And listen, listen teenagers are complicated and learning and emotional, but they’re kids.

There is something so magical about a group of 200 sweaty, exhausted teenagers getting their energy back to do a affirmation for kindergarteners.

We’re just kids. And it’s fun!

When given something fun and playful, with the expectation that it’s silly and not something required or “forced fun,” it can be so exciting, and I wish that more people (teachers, public speakers, etc.) would just lean into the silly bit. Everyone wants to have a good time, you just have to let them.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

tma is a show which spends the first 100 episodes going "look at these monsters. aren't they fucked up. yeah and they're all so happy being monsters who hurt people monstrously" and then the protagonist who you've spent hours listening to at this point becomes one of those fucked up monsters, forcing you to either dismiss him as evil or you have to fully change how you view all the previous monsters. and then they spend the next 100 episodes dealing with that

Here’s my take on the whole audio books vs. reading:

Oral tradition of storytelling predates written ones by millennias, and honestly, which one you like is just a personal preference.

The actual difference is

when listening, you have no idea how to write characters’ names

when reading, you have no idea how to pronounce characters’ names
