I know its been said that Lilia likes acting cheerful despite his nearing death because he doesn't want to look weak. But, I think the undertone of his reasoning is he doesn't want to spend his last days in tragedy and sadness so he copes it with being happy as much as he can.😭

Isn't that a more obvious behavior especially now that we know that Lilia's life only has been happy for the last 2 decades, or less. I'm saying that because I feel like the years where Malleus grows up was depressing too because he was badly excluded and only recently, in NRC, did he finally have "a group of people to be a part of with freely"

I feel like this is more like an understandable reason why he wants to go away as "he can still smile and act happy" before his age deteriorates him up, and makes him "look lifeless" to his family.

Rather than making Silver and Malleus remember his death, I think his version of a happy ending was that party where they'll all have fun together. I think Lilia wants them to remember *his happiness* the most. Because Lilia's life has mostly been a tragedy, and I don't think he wishes even after his death, that he would still be a "tragic person".

I feel like his line about "not wanting Malleus to be a hero of a fairy tale" reflects that. Because he did experience being the "hero of a fairytale". He saved Malleus from being killed and dying. He is, in the story, the rightful hero of Briar Valley.

TWST has always told that heroes in this world are perfect individuals with perfect morals and life, but Lilia as a hero, added more depth towards the concept of heroes in TWST...

To be a hero, you need to be facing the story's conflicts, you have to sacrifice a lot, and be in pain for doing the right thing just for you to "have something to be victorious over."

And, I feel like that's a nice parallel to the theme that "villains are people that can be redeemed/grow up even if they're messed up". Its like saying everyone struggles even if you're a hero or a villain, like there's never a perfect role or a perfect world where there's no sadness.... 😭

also, I know Lilia mostly said that line about "heroes in fairytales" because he wants Malleus not to die forgotten like Meleanor and Levan, but its GETS ME knowing he said that as well because he doesn't want to see Malleus in any kind of pain😭

Wait... Dream was born on August 12, 1999 and Dream was arrested in the Disc Finale on January 20, 2021 soo... wait, wait, wait, that means he was only 21 when he was imprisoned for life in a small lava covered box!... Did I do that math right? 21?! Man was barely able to drink legally in the United States and they gave him a life sentence in a boiling cell with nothing but lava, raw potatoes, a clock, and some books?!... oh my god...

#galarian slowpoke #picture this. this was the first pokémon revealed from the new DLCs for pokémon sword and shield. the pokémon company #up until this point‚ has never done DLC for a pokémon game before. you‚ having been jaded by shitty DLCs for other games in the past #now have a distaste for the phrase‚ and imagine this can't be good. then‚ in their teaser for the new DLC‚ they add a little event #into the game where they reveal one of the new pokémon that is going to be added in the DLC #and it is a galarian form. that is identical to the original pokémon. but with a yellow head #are you imagining it. now how fucking disappointed are you. how little faith do you have in that DLC that it's going to be as good as it wa #for the most part‚ the pokémon company has demonstrated that they do absolutely excellent DLCs. proper expansions #basically an entire other game on top of the game you already have. and they typically take up the release cycle of a full game #scarlet/violet's especially. WONDERFUL dlc. i never really properly finished the crown tundra just because i was so late to the party #because i avoided buying the dlc for so long because of this experience that i've just described to you #that by the time i bought it and played it‚ it was just because SV had been announced and i wanted more pokémon to tide me over #and i never finished it. one of these days‚ i'd like to go back and finish it‚ but i'm playing through pokémon xd gale of darkness right no #and i prefer to play. one game at a time. and i don't know when i'll ever really get back to it #or if i'll ever get back to it! 'cause without resetting my save file all the way i'll just have to Remember what it is that already happen #which i'm. notoriously bad at when it comes to coming back to games that i haven't played in a while #plus i know sv is like shitty performance or whatever but the movement in that game is so much better #it feels so much more freeing than going back to gen 8 where you can still just. run. and that's it #i know nobody likes scarlet/violet but i still. like it. performance aside. like yes the performance is terrible but i still had a great #time with it. i just praised its DLC for fuck's sake! its DLC was fuckin wonderful! it has kieran in it so it like can't be bad

@shrimpuufriend told me that Capcom had recently released never-before seen concept art of the original Rockman (Which you can find here!), and it is the coolest thing EVER.

That said, I wanted to be the first person to make something based off of the newly surfaced concept art, so I took one featured sketch of Rockman and turned it into its own sprite piece, complete with a faux beta title screen I craftily edited into the manual! 💙✨

I would say around 45-50 minutes of nonstop work #My drive to be the very first to bring one of these never-before seen concepts to fruition is UNMATCHED #And for such a short timespan... I think I did a nice job!#I wanted Rock to have nonstandard shading unlike anything that we would see later on #And I honestly think that adds to its authenticity. It fits like a glove!#You already KNOW I had to edit it into the manual too like I did with Amazon Man a while back #I do eventually plan on spriting some more stuff that came from this concept art set that was released #Though for now I think this was the PERFECT thing to start with!!!

i've been a zelda fan for more than 4 years. my biggest embarrassment is that i own all of the games (except four swords xd) but have only beat ... like 3 of them

#if you're wondering why I drew him with gullveig's serpents its bc i immediately fed my free gullveig to him xD flare sparrow + oath 4 yum #and then gave him her accessory for forging bonds so i can use him to grind bonus affection & sp lmaooooo #and while i wish they'd given us gullveig/seidr's floatie rocks as an accessory i love the broken halo-y look of the one they did. its neat #anyway i just love the idea that when you inherit a skill to a hero they gain a little bit of the sacrificed units traits. :)#Oops! Gained a little more than you bargained for there! 9-1-1 LONE STAR IS CANCELLED 😭😭😭💔💔💔

The article I read said it's pretty dang definitive, not gonna get picked up but I just. Not only is it my favorite of the 9-1-1s, it's a huge loss of queer representation. And I just. I know that technically/to a lot of people, 9-1-1 is a better show. But not enough that it deserves to be picked up and Lone Star doesn't.

I'm angry and I'm sad and I'm real tired of this happening xd. Not to even mention that we'll go through the final season without Sierra. Just pay your freaking actors, and this wouldn't happen.

I'm never forgiving Fox for this

Anyone else get like... a weird nostalgia heartachey feeling when someone you love/d, but chose not to be with, moves on or takes steps with new ppl? Like it's not jealously or regret, because you know that you aren't compatible as a couple. But they're your friend n you still love them in that way so there's a lil twinge of.. something.. happiness n sadness in a tiny lil bundle :P

#like im 1000% happy for the ppl im thinking of #a guy i know posted pics of him n his girl getting married in a game n its super cute #but me n him have always been friends n pretty attracted to eat other. but i chose to be with my ex instead #also to be clear im 90% sure it would have never been romantic but it would uave been more than it is now #hes complicated for me tbh XD #i know if i was single hed be shooting his shot (they are not monogamous #plus this is on top of one of my best friends (who i regected twice) being so so happy with his partner now #n i am SOOO HAPPY FOR HIM like legitimatly he was lonely for a long time n when he pursued me i think it was more out of loneliness #but seeing him be such a good partner almost makes me wonder “what if?” even though we would not have worked n im happy how it turned out #ranting to make my brain less confused lol #ANYWAY YEAH PPL GET THIS VIBE?
