Chapter 5

According to Steve the bullies tried to extort money from a little boy so he had stepped in. I have a lot of thoughts about the treatment of women in total drama. My Moms Adventures with Dhmis-

i Was talking to a friend today and i suddenly remembered that a few years ago i made my mom watch Dhmis (Web) with me. before i was even half confident to even make a tumblr account.

LOVE: Guys lemme tell you. SHE IS SHRIGOLDS #1 HATER She hated him the moment he flew on screen. She was cussing him out and giving him the stink eye every time he spoke. She still talks about how much she hates "The creepy ass butterfly" to this day

COMPUTERS: She was jamming on the computer song fr. cant blame her it is in fact a banger. like she was worryingly looking at the screen while also bopping her head along. and when reds head exploded she froze and said "DID HE JUST FUCKING DIE!!!?" in the same vain as marks "WAS THAT THE BITE OF 87!!!?"

Linkara: Knight of Mind. Hes such a knight of my god like insisting your fine when you arent? absolute knight behavior. i chose mind because one of my favorite aspects of linkara is hes like. the kind of character who needs to have a plan for everything which is usually a bad guy trait and is a trait you see in a lot of neurodivergent ppl so its nice to see in The Hero

but yeah a knight of mind would use logic and thinking as a weapon which linkara really enjoys doing

90s Dude: Mage of Hope

hope players represent! (im seer of hope!) but yeah hope is a broad term bc like lots of things can inspire it, hope plays typically have something they're really passionate about, something that sparks that ability to believe and like i dont have to say what 90's dude's is. he wears his passions on his sleeves, he gave us "more radical, less sadicle", the stuff that hes passionate about is his strength. mages are kinda like seers except less direct? instead of sharing knowledge to help the team they have this very personal, intuitive understanding of their aspect and how to wield it. fits the sleepwalker arc p damn well

Harvey: Prince of Time

every time i have to make a character i love a prince like i know you'd hate these pants im sorry

but ok i knew harvey would be a time player bc time is associated with music and death, two things that are very relevant to harvey as a character. i think i settled on this bc i saw a quote on pintrest "not living, just killin time" and harvey was the character i was fixated on that week. princes destroy their aspect/are destroyed by their aspect/destroy with their aspect. so if you wanna put a less gloomy spin on this you can go with "making up for lost time"

also i rarely get to have a session that has both a time and space player and thus isn't automatically doomed, which brings me to

Linksano: Seer of Space

multiverse and green. also seer fit since his official job on the team is science consultant like, he uses his knowledge of the multiverse to help his friends

Jaeris: Thief of Void

THIS IS ANOTHER MEAN ONE like thief bc of him stealing magic weapons BUT ALSO thief's tend to have a "my way is definitely the correct way of accomplishing this goal" and it bites them in the ass. i saw a theory i take whith a grain of salt but its basically void players tend to have their perspective skewed by some personal bias

HOWDY FRIEND!!!

let me just go copy paste my whole character chart bc its SOOO MUCH i cant type it all out

Leila is the daughter of some business man (Moroccan Mafia!!!)  associated with the mafia, and to make good business her father and her man’s father set them up to make business ties!! She just moved back to New York after finishing her studies abroad. She tries to blend into the background and typically doesn’t like drawing attention to herself, but she won’t hesitate to bite if things start getting questionable. She & her man (NAME TO BE DETERMINED) have a sort of like…enemies(ish) to lovers vibe solely because they don’t want to do this fake marriage thing, but she’s ready to protect him fiercely. While she’s kind of just seen as a castaside, she’s been working in the background to get rid of her father and take over his business - she’s slowly managed to turn parts of her father’s business and partners to be on her side and change loyalties. 

She spent all those years away from New York building her own empire slowly, and now she's back - her father may think she agreed to a marriage just out of being clueless obedient little Leila but it's a lot more than that - all her steps are counted for. She only agreed to such a marriage because she knows this man has good connections within the mafia, and she's managed to strike up a good business deal with him!!! get this marriage running, convince people that they make a good powerful duo that can build a successful empire, and get rid of her father. she gets to build her empire and he can help her with it on the business front and get to own some of it!! its all good!!

So ever since she got back and got married, she spent that time attending parties and events to try and win over her father's customers and partners, and strike up new deals that are better and bigger than what her father had, and win over people her father has been chasing after. All of this done because yknow of course she's already built a decent underground on-the-downlow company but she's got the connection to this guy she's now married to which wins points!!

Every time someone mentions this obv to her father he's like "oh please she's just little old Leila. she can't even open a door herself" and she's very good at keeping this role she's playing up. the perfect daughter, the shining wife.

this is a murder mystery duh, so her motive for murder is her ambition. she'd do anything to be better and bigger than her father, and to get rid of him - even if it means needing to kill the wrong people (his close circle/his board of directors/loose ties who can't keep their mouths shut etc)

umm yeah. will my teacher have a HEADACHE reading this bad boy to plot the murder mystery? YES. do i care? NO!!!!!!

she's my #1 girl. umm her man.... is silly too. He's kind of obsessed with her - like yeah they're business partners, but he's so obsessed with her ambition and that obsession leads to falling for her (CREDITS TO @the-lady-amphitrite FOR BEING SOOO SMART TO PIECE THAT TOGETHER.)

yES pets! Gus the second my baby. He takes such good care of his fishies, will occasionally give them food that theyre not supposed to eat (LIKE SPRINKLES STEVEN???) but that’s because he likes to share his food.

Im also in love with the HC that the moon system has a cat (thanks to my baby girl jake) and her name is luna (ha ha). Hes a bit wary of having a feline but that’s just due to his protectiveness over gus, but he will definitely warm up to luna after a while (jakes her favorite tho)

Quiet – How are the calm, quiet moments with them?

Dreamy sigh. The quiet moments are definitely the highlights of his and your day. Especially if you are also ND and youre just overstimulated or just, had a loud day? Is that even a thing? A day where it was just too much. Too much noise. Too much people. Too many people. Those days. So yes the calm moments are all you ever want sometimes.

Safe – What makes them feel safe and comfortable around you?

Hmmm. So it’s a pretty tricky thing with steven. I don’t think it would take much for steven to trust you? And with the wrong people this attribute can be totally misused and abused or taken for granted.

Hes been lately made aware of that (via jake) and he goes to be closed off for the days after receiving the news. Hes just walking down the street with his jacket held tightly around him and just nervously looking at everyone, thinking back to every time his kindness was taken for granted.

BUT THEN enter you! Youre so sweet and just accepting and just- hes rambling.

So he tells you about his tendency to overshare and trust easily, so, you smile softly at him and put a hand his hand and tell him “steven if im taking advantage of your kindness you wont know it!” IM KIDDDINGGGGG, but if you indeed say that to be a little shit (like moi) you tell him that youre joking and give him a hug and rub his back “ I would never take advantage of the thing that made me fall in love with you darling” and thats when he finally relaxes into your embrace.
