Peter Pettigrew Hanahaki AU?
Pete is in love with James but it's not reciprocal and the disease is killing him, but he doesn't want to forget his childhood best friend
Ending with Ravenrock (falls out of love with Potter and in love with Benjy Fenwick, who likes him back and helps him through the Hanahaki)
What do y'all think? Should I write it?
@sebbianas share thy wisdom, oh mighty creator of Ravenrock

I wrote this for my beautiful friend @theunderdogsblogs, who i love dearly.❤️
enjoy! ❤️
cw. PeterxJames, mention of dry humping, one sided love, only one bed, Peter centric.
Wax and Sun.
The prank didn't go very well - quite the opposite.
A disaster from multiple angles.
Peter only needed not to sacrifice his own bed for that darned prank; Black's bed would have sufficed, he had said it, not once, but at least a million times.
But Black hadn't listened, not really. He never did. And now, he found himself at 2:49 in the morning on January fifteenth, rolling in James’ bed next to him, who clung to his blankets on the opposite side, almost shrinking, as if he was afraid Peter might accidentally touch him.
A fear that Remus clearly didn't have: the curtains of his canopy were always open for Sirius, and the wet sound of lips meeting that invaded the dormitory was proof of it.
"I'm not going to snog you," Peter whispered to the figure next to him.
“Ehm?" James turned towards him, squinting his eyes to focus on Peter's face.
"I'm not going to snog you; you can stop trembling," Peter repeated.
"I'm not trembling."
"Yes, you are; I can feel it."
"You'd like to have this power over me, Wormy," James felt him squirm and hold back a laugh.
"Really, you're not my type."
James chuckled, "Yes I am-" But the sentence died in his throat, with an embarrassed sound. Peter turned to the other side, giving his back to his friend.
Yes, he was really his type.
James knew it, he knew it. Probably even Padfoot knew because wherever James went, Sirius followed. What James knew, Sirius knew. They were so clingy it was nauseating.
For a while, even Peter had genuinely thought he was James's type.
For a while, James had let him against him, the bulge in his jeans rubbing against Peter's, sloppy and inexperienced kisses ending with them wetting each other's chins and strings of saliva between them as they explored each other's underwear. James's denim jacket abandoned on the floor of their room, soon followed by his shirt and pants.
If James was the sun, Peter was made entirely of wax. He melted under his touch, existing only to shine if James's fire allowed it.
Then Lily had returned.
Lily, red hair always perfectly groomed, red lipstick, fresh and experienced kisses.
Better parties with her Ravenclaw friends, more entertaining conversations, a nicer scent.
She talked about the Carpenters, and James looked at her with the eyes of love; Muggle music bored Peter.
And then Prongs had started distancing himself from Peter.
"No. You're not." Peter replied sharply.
"I’m sorry."
He felt James turn away from him again.
He burned with jealousy, Remus and Sirius had started moaning a bit too loudly, probably thinking the rest of the dorm was asleep, and thinking about James had made him painfully nervous.
He burned with jealousy, and now, also with anger.
