So, I got slightly bored, and was trying to work on a personal headshot... that's when I wondered how would sims look ran through an AI program? So that's what I did! I ran all of the TS1 console sims through a photo editor, and here are the results! These are all of the sims from Play the Sims mode. Bonus: Fran Foofaraw from Get a Life!

Lovely little house made by RachelPedd that you can find here on the gallery. I just edited one bedroom to make it nice for Angela and Lilith's sleepovers. The Pleasant elders should be happy in this neighbourhood, the view is gorgeous and the air is stimulating. I'm not sure what kind of hobbies they will have, maybe a book club for Diane (nanny) and some fishing with Brad Burb for Jeff (military) who earns a mustache because why not?

Tried to make the elder versions of the Newbies, Burbs, and Pleasants. I've always wondered what other people's personal canons were on them, since they've all passed away in TS2.

I've always imagined Bob and Betty went on to live in a retirement home after selling their house in SimLane, because Bob's health rather deteriorated and Betty was just stressed out. Her relationship with Brandi was always challenging because her own mother was tough on her, and she was concerned about Brandi marrying Skip as much as they liked him. Bob died first, and later on, Dustin was born around the same time as Betty's death of a stroke. Shame they never got to meet their grandkids.

For the Burbs, Brad always seemed older and he died after John and Jennifer got engaged. I'm happy to see that Tiffany lived to meet Lucy, as I imagine she'd be pretty old by then. I imagine her as a chainsmoking and sharp-tongued grandma. I like the Early Pleasantview canon of her, moving to the city again and all that.

Jeff and Diane Pleasant, too, apparently lived to see Angela and Lilith. But I imagine they'd be kind of distant to the grandkids. Jeff seemed to be tanner, so I guess they retired in a warmer climate. They died around the same time, but I dunno who'd go first--probably Jeff from his disappointment of not being able to go to Mars.

Headcanon: Jeff and Diane were strict parents who pressured both Daniel and Jennifer to into acting more "normal." They didn't approve of Jennifer's dream or Daniel's desire to live his life as a bachelor, pushing both of them into lives they didn't want.

Daniel's resentment and bitterness over the way his life turned out is the reason he turned out the way he did. Jennifer turned out much better thanks to John's support. She wants to be a better mother to Lucy, hence why she lets Lucy get away with a lot.

Round 6 - Pleasants

Not_So Pleasant

-Thanks, Luther! You didn't have to wash the dishes... - said Diane. -No worries. Thank you for the delicious dinner.

Jeff was very uncomfortable. What was on Diane's mind, he did not know, but this boy! The audacity. Clearly, he was trying to hit on his wife right in front of his eyes.

-Do you know who I am? - men quietly argued over the game of checkers. -I don't know, obviously a relative of the Pleasants? - sarcastically responded Luther. -I am Diane's husband! -Sorry, mate, you look more like her grandfather to me. -You will respect me, boy! I am from the military too, so don't you dare, unless you are that stupid to insult our family like that. -Aw, boo-hoo, I am so sorry mister commander. It was so-o-o bold of me to disrespect a bald man like that.

Later that night, Pleasant spouses argued.

-Diane, you understand me, don't you? You know how I feel. Can't you see why I might be worried? - But I can't just go to my boss and tell him just that, that Luther and I can no longer be partners because what, my husband is jealous? Besides, is that how you think of me? That I'll just... go with it as is? -I would prefer if you stayed at home, actually. As a homemaker. -What now? Now you tell me to quit? -Not exactly, but... - You know what, Jeff? I think I was a very good wife. Maybe too good for you. I raised two kids, brought the most beautiful human beings into this world. I kept our house clean and everyone fed. I supported your dreams, Jeff. While you were obsessed with aliens and other childish stuff, I stayed behind your back. Looks like the appreciation is one sided though. So I don't see why I should keep accommodating you and your feelings anymore.

Diane slammed the bedroom door in front of Jeff's face, indicating he was going to sleep on the couch today.

-Besides, - she opened the door again. - You spent what, 15 years chasing clouds? And you haven't proved aliens' existence even still. Well, guess what, husband, it took me and Luther one night of investigations and one article to do exactly that. Who exactly should quit their job now, huh?

And she slammed the door shut once more. Leaving Jeff absolutely flabbergasted.

Even with having an infant to take care of, the Pleasants manage to make time for their hobbies. Diane enjoys painting (it also helps pay the bills, they’re not exactly made of money…) while Jeff exercises and plays chess so he can hopefully achieve his dream of becoming an astronaut someday.

Pride Month Writing Challenge, Day 3: Cry If I Want To (Closeted Lesbian Coral)

I don’t know why, but it just makes so much sense to me. Same with her daughter and granddaughter. Posting from my laptop so the formatting will be better today.

Coral hated Jeff Pleasant. 

Coral was happy that Diane seemed so happy with him, but she could not stand the man personally. 

Apparently Coral’s intense hatred had been mistaken for jealousy, considering how much her peers teased her about it. When Diane confronted Coral and asked if the reason she hated Jeff so much was that she secretly liked Jeff she nearly puked. He wasn’t a bad-looking fella, but every time he walked into a room with that wide, goofy grin of his, it filled her with uncontrollable rage. 

Tonight, however, instead of rage, Coral felt absolutely miserable. The more she watched Jeff and Diane dance and kiss and smile and laugh… the more miserable she became. She was so tempted to “accidentally” spill punch on her dress so she could have an excuse to go home early. During a painfully slow song, Coral instead decided it was time for a smoke break. 

Coral considered herself to be a casual smoker usually, but tonight she decided to treat herself. 

To say this wasn’t how Coral expected her senior prom to go was an understatement. Of all of the things that she imagined could go wrong on her prom night… she’d never even seen this as a possibility. 

Coral had imagined her and Diane going dress shopping together, doing each other’s hair and make-up, dancing themselves silly despite any weird looks they might get, and eating junk until they made themselves sick. 

Not only had none of that happened, but Diane had the nerve to bring Jeff Pleasant of all people. It was just supposed to be a night of dancing and fun. Why did she have to—

What are you talking about? He’s her boyfriend, of course she brought him to prom. You are probably the only person at this entire dance that didn’t bring a date. What did you expect to happen when a slow slow song came on? Did you expect her to slow dance with you? 

Just as Coral lit her third cigarette, she felt a hand on her shoulder. 

“There you are!” Diane gasped. “I’ve been looking for you for like ten minutes!”

“Sorry, I… I just needed some air.” 

Diane frowned. “Are you not having fun?”

Coral looked away shyly. “Not really.” She kicked the sidewalk. “I looked like a total square dancing by myself, and I looked like an even bigger square standing by myself watching everyone slow dance.” 

“Hey, don’t say that,” Diane offered with a smile. “You were having fun dancing and that’s all that matters.” 

Coral blushed at Diane’s comment. 

“If it makes you feel any better, I don’t think you were the only person without a partner. If we go back in there, I’m sure we could find a single guy for you to dance with.” 

I don’t need a boy to dance with… I just want to spend time with you. 

Coral shook her head and chuckled. As much as she didn’t want to, Diane seemed so eager to play matchmaker. If Coral knew one thing about Diane, it was that she was stubborn; once she had her mind set on something, she was not going to let up. 

Coral supposed one dance couldn’t hurt; just to humor Diane. She put out her cigarette. 

“Did you have anyone in mind?”

Alternative, Season 1 Episode 17: "Unfaithful"

There was a meeting because Daniel and Ekaterina were introducing their newborn daughter Monique. Marcel and Katina were looking at her daughter with disappointment, while Diane and Jeff were happy to see her granddaughter.

Jeff (Congratulating his eldest son): Congratulations Daniel! The baby is a very healthy girl! Diane, darling, our granddaughter is almost the same as you!

Daniel (Hugging Ekaterina): Thank you very much dad, darling... Why don't we better let Monique rest?

Ekaterina: Sure, dear...

The two left the house so they could talk a bit.

Ekaterina: Daniel, we can't give our daughter up for adoption... I know we can't raise her, but we can't do that to her...

Daniel (a little confused): But Ekaterina, my parents can take care of the baby for us, but they are very old, and what about your parents?

Ekaterina: My mom offered to raise Monique.

Daniel (smiling): Honey, that would be a good option!

At that moment Alexander arrives, who was a little agitated.

Alexander: Hello Daniel, hello Ekaterina! You must listen to me, please, I have super important news!

Ekaterina and Daniel: Hi Alexander! What happened?

Lola (interrupting the moment and leaving with Gabriel Green): Ekaterina, they call you on the phone!, a certain Connor Weir!.

That scared Alexander a little, who ran after his ex-girlfriend.

Ekaterina (Ending the call with Connor): We'll see you at 20:00 PM!

There was something in that call that worried Alexander too much, and he couldn't continue talking to Ekaterina.

Later

At a downtown restaurant, Geoff, Ekaterina, Connor, Samantha and Ramir were having an outing with friends.

Ramir and Samantha: Ekaterina, Geoff is the coolest man you will meet, he is super talented and super attentive! We would be very happy if you were with him and Geoff would also like you to be his girlfriend! yes Geoff?

Geoff (blushing a little): Yeah hehe, well guys, what are you planning to do this weekend?

Samantha: Since Connor and I have graduated, we have thought about traveling to Twikkii Island! By the way Ramir, have you talked to that girl you told us about?

Ramir: I've talked to her again! Her name is Ana and she's very pretty!

Dinner passed and everyone was enjoying it, except for Ekaterina (who wanted a beautiful diamond ring that a very familiar woman had), she couldn't stop looking at the ring, which caught Geoff's attention.

Geoff (Thinking): "It seems that my beautiful Ekaterina is attracted to something... I think she should buy her what she wants and thus win her heart"

Later, after Connor, Ramir, and Samantha had left, Geoff started flirting with Ekaterina.

Geoff (Caressing the blonde): Did you like dinner? I had a great time with you!

Ekaterina: Yes hehe, anyway, you're super cool Geoff!.

Geoff (Getting a little closer to the blonde): Do you want to know something? I love you Ekaterina, I would do anything to be with you... And for that...

At that moment Geoff kissed Ekaterina, that impacted the Blonde too much, on the one hand she felt that she was being unfaithful to Daniel, but on the other hand she felt fascinated by that kiss... Why did she feel that way?

Geoff (Smiling): Do you want to be my girlfriend, Ekaterina?, she swore to you that I will be a good boyfriend for you!!, I will be there for you when you need it!!.

Ekaterina (Confused): Geoff...

She scared Geoff a bit, who was getting a bit angry, but he decided to calm down, he shouldn't show his true form right now.

Geoff (A little angry): Okay, calm down!... I'll wait until tomorrow for your decision... "YOU'LL BE MINE VERY SOON EKATERINA AND YOUR BOYFRIEND ALEXANDER WILL NOT BE THERE TO SAVE YOU!!"

Geoff was devising the last phase of his plan, now everything was going to be more aggressive than ever and that's why he would start with the main thing...

Creepypasta/MH - Holding Hands

Nina the Killer

Hand-holding is a must with her

Especially when you’re walking

She’s very casual about it, simply interlacing your fingers as you start walking somewhere

She likes to link arms while she holds your hand, getting as close as possible to you

But she’ll be totally nonchalant about it, talking normally as if you weren’t literally joined at the hip

You already know her hands are soft, and they smell like sweet scented lotion

Her grip is gentle until she gets excited

You can always tell when she’s getting worked up because she’ll start to squeeze your hand

Not to the point that it’s painful, but you’ll definitely notice it

If she gets super excited she’ll run in front of you, still holding your hand

You’re just getting dragged at that point

She will not let go of your hand until she absolutely has to

And even then she’ll prolong the contact for as long as possible, sometimes dramatically stretching her arm to hold on by your fingertips

She just loves holding hands :) it’s how she shows she cares

Jane the Killer

Though she won’t admit it at first, she does like holding your hand

At the beginning of the relationship she’ll be super shy about it, going red at the slightest brush of your hands

But gradually she’ll get more comfortable, going from linking pinkies to full-on hand holding

She prefers to do it when you’re sitting alone somewhere

But if you want to hold hands while you walk, she might be down

Depends on the crowd you’re with

If you’re all alone at the mall or something, she’ll probably be more inclined because she wants to keep track of you

But if you’re with a bunch of people you know, she’ll be a bit less receptive to hand holding

When you do hold hands, she likes to cradle your hand in hers

She gives occasional squeezes as signs of affection, shooting you loving glances as she does so

Her hands aren’t too soft, but they’re not rough either

Just normal skin tbh

Clockwork

She reaches for your hand whenever she’s idle

She’ll be retreating into the recesses of her mind, and suddenly her hand is resting atop yours

She likes the feeling of something fleshy in her hand while she thinks

She will squeeze your hand if her thoughts start to get intense

And depending on how intense those thoughts are, you might have to tell her to ease up a little so she doesn’t break your hand

She’ll even start to dig her nails in if you don’t say anything

But if her thoughts are more calm, she’ll gently brush your knuckles with her thumb

Her hands are slightly calloused, especially in the colder months

She’ll be sure to compliment your skin, even if it’s rough like hers

She’s not big on hand holding while walking/in public, unless you’re on a scenic walk and she starts to daydream

If you insist, she might let you hold her pinky or something

But she’d honestly prefer to have full usage of her hands

Ticci Toby

For him, hand-holding is a more pleasant alternative to more harmful manual activities

In other words, he won’t scratch or pick at himself when he’s holding your hand

He doesn’t really notice this though, so you’ll have to be sneaky about it if you want to use it to help him

Luckily he loves holding your hand anyway

So when you hold out your open palm, he smiles and slaps his hand into yours

His hand will be completely still; he won’t even squeeze or brush your knuckles

It’s almost a little eerie; like you’re holding a sleeping person’s hand

It’s also completely unlike him to be so calm

Of course, he’ll probably be occupied doing something else while he’s holding your hand, but still

His skin is very rough, and it’s covered in band-aids and scabs

But if you use your little hand-holding trick often enough, you’ll notice the damage reducing significantly

Somehow he doesn’t notice this either

He’s just happy that you seem to like to hold his hand :)

Tim/Masky

Not really a big hand-holder

He’s just not all that physically affectionate

He can get into it if you’re into it, but he usually won’t initiate it himself

It’s only when he’s tired or upset that he seeks your hand

It’s an intimate action for him, one that he reserved for when he needs some intimate affection

He’ll sit or lay close to you, wordlessly taking your hand into his

He’ll stare at it, brushing his thumb over your knuckles and fingers as if trying to distract himself

Because he probably is

Eventually he’ll close his eyes, and the tight grip he has on you will ease up

He might even fall asleep like that

His hands are big and a little rough on the back

His palms are much softer though, so holding his hand is pretty pleasant

Jeff the Killer

He does actually like hand holding

When he can remember it, anyway

It’s not his first thought to grab your hand when you’re near

But when it does occur to him, he’ll happily grab your hand

It’s usually an abrupt motion in the middle of a walk/conversation

He’ll give you a huge grin and proceed with a little more gladness in his demeanor

He doesn’t like to hold hands in more calm situations though

It’s just awkward for him; he sees hand-holding as an activity to supplement something more active like a walk

So if you reach for his hand while cuddling or something, he’ll squirm out of your grasp pretty quickly

His hands are surprisingly soft, which is weird because you know this man hasn’t touched a bottle of lotion in years

He’ll make fun of you if your hands aren’t as soft, telling you that you need some lotion

Just tell him he’s a hypocrite and he’ll shut up

Eyeless Jack

Sort of like Tim, he reserves hand-holding for more intimate moments

When he’s walking, he likes to be as alert and efficient as possible

Hand-holding is a damper to that, so he’ll politely refuse to hold hands while walking

He’ll gladly take your hand in his when relaxing, though

It’s calming for him to rub your knuckles while talking at the end of a long day

He loves to study the lines on your hand, your nails, the shapes of your fingers—everything

It’s just a very relaxing activity for him :)

His hands are fairly soft, but you can definitely tell he doesn’t use moisturizer often

Plus his nails are very sharp, so sometimes he’ll have little scratches on his palms

He tries so hard not to scratch you, and will apologize endlessly if he does

It does give him an excuse to kiss your hand when he does scratch you, though, so he’s not totally remorseful

Round 5 - Pleasants

Night Owl Duty

-Hey, - Daniel said to his sister. - Maybe we can order something today? I love dad but his cooking is... -I know, right? - Jenn agreed. - I miss times when mom used to meet us and prepare delicious meals right away.

Diane was working night shifts at her journalist job, and so housekeeping duties unexpectedly crashed on Jeff. He was not prepared for this, and their house was constantly either on fire, or flooded.

Diane, however, was also surviving on pure caffeine as she struggled to keep up with her work demands. It just so happens that she got several promotions in a row, which at the time made her sleepless for 3 days when her schedule was changing non-stop. So, it was one cup of coffee, a one-hour long rest, and she got to go again.

She wondered if it had anything to do with her "secret" scoop coverages in regards to the recent events in the neighbourhood.

-Darling, you do know that I am worried about you, right? - Jeff asked one day, when they both happened to have a day off. -I know but it's totally worth it. I feel how important my work is, and you'll never going to guess what exactly I am working on. -What is it? - ... aliens, - Diane whispered.

To Jeff, this was an instant connection. They grew rather apart in the recent years, and to suddenly find out that you and your wife are actually working towards the same goal!

-Oh, hi Luther! - Diane waved to the man across the lake. -Who's this? -A colleague of mine. We met Downtown once and ended up on the same team of journalists, when we found out we are sharing a workplace. -A colleague, huh...
