*** You were sitting in the cafe finishing off some last minute homework while Mia was behind the counter making sure that you finished it correctly. You then heard a car pull up outside and turned your head to see Brian walking over. “Mia look who’s here” you teased Mia just stared at you clearly annoyed at you “just do your homework” she huffed before smiling at Brian as he entered the cafe and sat down next to you.
“Homework, huh?” He said looking at your book “mind your own business tuna breath.” You replied not even looking up from your book. A couple minutes later of trying to do maths while having to listen to Brian and Mia talk to each other you heard a familiar sound before turning around and seeing all of Doms friends enter the cafe “hey YN mind if I sit there?” Vince asked while leaning against the counter.
“ But I’m here,” you responded “Just move!” Vince said clearly running out of patience so you packed up your stuff before moving to the other side of the counter “asshole” you whispered under your breath making sure you where just loud enough so that Vince could hear you he looked at you surprised at the response before sitting down next to Brian and starting a conversation about something.
You had only zoned out for a couple of minutes before looking over and seeing Vince and Brian throwing punches at each other.
The fight had gotten the attention of your older brother Dom who hadn’t gone out to stop it yet “DOM! As much as I enjoy seeing tuna breath over there being beat up I don’t really feel like having to deal with a dead body today!” You exhaled looking him dead in the eye for a second before he finally walked out to break up the fight you following him with a glass of water in your hand.
After Dom broke up the fight you threw the glass of water on Vince’s head “what you need to cool off” you chuckled “fuck you YN” Vince said back “HEY. TAKE A WALK VINCE” Dom shouted in his face “and YN get inside” “but-“ “GET INSIDE” Dom shouted losing his patience. You rolled your eyes before giving him the finger and walking off Mia right behind you.
“YN you can’t just do stuff like that.” She scolded. “Come on you have to admit it was funny.” You laughed but stopped when you noticed Mia wasn’t laughing.
“Don’t you have homework” she said stepping back behind the bar. “Already done.” You quickly placed your books into your backpack.
“I’m bored I’m going home” you said slinging your bag over your shoulders. “What, by yourself? But it’s starting to get dark.” She said worry in her tone.
“I’ll be fine I have my bike.” You said confidently and if you were being honest you didn’t think anyone was stupid enough to go after the little sibling of Dominic Toretto.
“You know Dom doesn’t like you riding home alone after 5pm. He’ll kill me if he finds out I let you and then kill you for for being stupid enough to go by yourself.” She said thinking that would be enough to keep you there.
“Well been nice knowing you see you on the other side.” You joked walking out the back door hearing Mia call your name as you secured your helmet before riding off.
It had gotten really dark by the time you were almost home. Normally you would already be home by now but with construction on your normal route you had to take a back alleyway. You knew Dom would already be angry so you decided it best if you kept that part to your self.
As you were pushing your bike up the driveway when you heard a gun fire. You rushed to get inside as you saw the car drive by with someone hanging out the passenger door with a gun but you suddenly you felt a a sharp hot pain in your lower stomach.
You fell to your knees the pain being to much. You heard the car drive off with whoever fired the gun laughing. Was this how you were going to die. You placed your hand over the bullet hole feeling the hot liquid cover your hand looking down you saw your top had turned red.
You where losing blood fast and you knew that you would die, die with out seeing your siblings again, die without graduating, die and miss out on so much but you would be able to see your parents again and knowing that brought you a slight sense of comfort.
“YN! YN!” You heard your name the voice sounded familiar but it was muffled and you thought it was miles away. You saw a bright light of a car but it looked like there were multiple. Then it all went dark you heard nothing and you knew that you had taken your last breath the pain finally going away.
•The others POV•
“Wait so let me get this straight you thought it was a good idea to allow YN to go home alone when it’s almost dark.” Mia had just finished explaining to Dom where you were after he had come back inside with the others and noticed your absence.
“I tried to stop her but she wouldn’t listen and just walked out.” Mia tried her best to defend herself but knew that if anything happened to you she was responsible.
“Ok everyone get in your cars we’re going to my house.” Dom announced to the gang. “Hopefully they’re there.” He whispered that part under his breath not want to stress his sister out more then she already was. He knew that you were probably already there but this was a dangerous town they lived in and Dom had made a lot of enemies, enemies who he knew would do anything to get revenge even bring a innocent teenager into it if it meant it got to him.
As they were driving down the street he and his family lived on he heard two gunshots ring through the air moments apart from each other. He sped up hoping to find you inside the house safe and sound.
Once they pulled up to the house Dom was horrified to see his little sibling on the ground bleeding out.
“YN! YN!” He called out as he approached your body the others only a few steps behind. Mia pushed him aside and knelt down next to you. Your eyes were blank and you were in a pool of your own blood.
Tears started to escape her eyes. “Hey.. hey YN look we’re all here the whole gang is here for you… you’re gonna be alright, yeah.. please say something. YN? Please” Her voice broke this was her fault if she tried harder then you would Still be here.
“YN please I’m sorry I’m so so sorry… YN come on say something” She cradled your head in her lap pushing pieces of her away from your face.
“Mia they’re gone.” Vince said as he tried to pull you away. “NO! NO! They’re not gone… they can’t be.” She cried into Vince’s arms as Dom was comforted by Letty. He wasn’t one to cry but he had just lost his little sibling someone who had practically raised.
Vance picked Mia up pulling her away from your body that was now cold. She continued to cry as Letty led her and Dom inside while Vince, Leon and Jesse handled your body.
•Brian’s POV•
Brian went into the house where they were operating everything the next day no idea about the devastating news he was about to hear about the Teretto family.
“O’Conner my office now.” Sargent Tanner ordered. “What’s going on Brian asked sensing the seriousness about the situation.
“Do you know anything about a shooting at the Toretto house.” Brian was shocked he knew Dominic had enemies but didn’t think they would try and kill somebody.
“No.. what happened?” Now he was scared what if Mia had gotten injured yes he only knew her for a short amount of time but he was really starting to have feelings for her.
“You know the youngest one.. what was their name again.. uhh-“
“YN” Brian was pretty sure he knew where this was going and he prayed that he was wrong.
“Yeah YN they were shot didn’t make it died within a few minutes.” Sargent Tanner said not a shred of empathy going right back to his cigarette.
“Oh… umm… wow they were so young hadn’t even finished high school yet.” Even though Brian barely knew you, you were still a kid who had done nothing wrong and had actually been getting good grades.
“Yeah sure sure.. oh well that’s one less problem we have to deal with, probably had no future anyway. The killer probably did the world a favor.” The Sargent said not even looking up from the file in his hands.
“What the hell man! Look I know that we’re trying to bust Dominic but YN had nothing to do with what he’s doing ok. They were a good kid and didn’t deserve to die so young.” Sargent Tanner was shoulder by Brian’s outburst.
“Yeah… umm yeah sorry” Sargent Tanner apologized before dismissing Brian.
•Mia’s POV•
Mia was heart broken she had just lost her little sibling and all she could think of how she won’t get to see you grow up how she won’t be able to hear you laugh or see your eyes light up when you talk about something that you love ever again and all because she couldn’t stop you. Now instead of helping you with homework or watching bad romcoms with you she was sitting before your grave your favorite stuffed animal in front of it with a bouquet of white roses. You where gone you where really gone.

Hiiii. I wanted to know if you would write about Jeremy coming out of ACL surgery and confessing his love while he wakes up from anesthesia. I just love the caretaker/lovey aspect!
Jeremy (WMCJ) x f!reader
hmm idk how i feel about this lol
You had only been dating Jeremy for a few months when he told you he had to go into surgery for his ACL. The only issue being he had known for a bit now and only decided to tell you the night before.
“How come you’re only telling me now!” you exclaim in question. “I could’ve tried to book off of work to join you—”
Jeremy sighed. “That’s exactly why I didn’t tell you until now. You can’t afford skipping a day of work just for me. I’ll be fine,” he shrugged nonchalantly.
“I don’t think you know the lengths that I would go for you, J,” you state matter of factly, swiftly moving to straddle his hips, careful of putting your weight anywhere near his knees before you wrap your arms around neck. “I’ll be there when you wake up. I promise. And best believe I’ll be there for every step of your recovery. Okay?” you whisper sweetly against his lips, before you kiss him, not giving him the chance to object.
The next day comes around and to say you were anxious the entire day was an extreme understatement. You couldn’t believe your boyfriend put you in this position—forced to go to work worried for him. By the time it hit 2:00 pm, you knew you had to find any excuse to leave.
“Please Anna—he’s in surgery as we speak,” you plead to your boss. “If I had known earlier I would’ve asked to have the day off sooner.”
“I told you before— that white man is gonna be the death of you,” she tsked. “Y’all only been dating for what? 3 months and he has you missing half of your work weeks. You needa set your priorities straight,” she stated sassily.
At that, you can’t help but sigh. “Anna I’m in love with him…” you admit quietly, the first time you say it out loud. You had contemplated the feeling, thinking it was entirely too soon to know. But in that moment you knew—and if it meant risking your job, you’d allow it. “I don’t want him waking up in that hospital room alone.”
Anna shook her head and let out a dramatic sigh. “Fineeee. You may leave early…but I expect you to pull extra hours when he’s recovered because lord knows you’re gonna baby that man child.”
You can’t help the smile that overtakes your features. “Thank you so much!” you say, feeling relief.
Without hesitation, you speed out. You make it to the hospital in record time, even before Jeremy is out of the surgery. You wait in his room, scrolling through your phone with your leg bouncing anxiously to desperately try to kill time.
Finally, after what felt like forever, your head snaps up when you hear and see the nurses roll him into the room. Despite his relaxed features, seeing him still unconscious made your heart sink. You stand up to your feet quickly and rush to his side, taking his hand in yours.
“Did the surgery go well?” you ask one of the nurses. She nods and smiles. “Yes it did. He should wake up in the next hour—he’ll probably be a bit loopy from the anesthesia and meds.”
You nod in understanding, your hand giving his a light squeeze which the nurse noticed. “He told me about you,” she started, piquing your interest. “Your name’s Y/N right?” You nod again.
“What did he say?” you ask curiously. She chuckled. “Well we noticed that he came in alone and asked if there’d be anyone to help him with recovery…and he mentioned you reluctantly. Said he felt guilty for dragging you in but knows you’re too stubborn to let him do anything alone.”
“Damn right,” you breathed out.
She chuckled again. “He’s lucky to have you…although I feel sorry for you. He seems like a handful. Kept going on about some detox drink,” she teased, causing you to let out a laugh.
“He definitely is at times. Wouldn’t change it for the world.”
The nurse and you exchanged a few more words before she told you that she’d be back when he’s awake to explain recovery.
You watch the nurse leave before you pull a chair closer to sit on. In the meantime, you take the time to admire your sleeping boyfriend. His eyelashes laid against his cheeks and little specks of his freckles littered his nose. He truly was such a handsome man—if only he just dressed a bit better you thought. But as he says, he didn’t choose the hippy life, the hippy life chose him.
About 20 minutes later is when Jeremy started to wake. He groaned and shifted slightly before you saw his eyebrows furrow. You quickly call for the nurse before you’re rushing back to his side, his hand back in yours. Eventually, his eyes blinked open and it took him a moment to focus on you.
“Hey,” you begin softly with a smile. “How you feeling?”
An adorable toothy grin widened on Jeremy’s face. “Hey baby,” he replied back. “I’m feeling good…I think? I don’t know—I’m hella drugged up.”
You giggled at his response. “Yeah—the nurses said you’d be loopy," you explain, as you brushed a strand of his curls away from his face.
He hummed. With a drowsy smile, he looked at you again, his words slightly slurred. "You know, you're like... the most amazing person in the universe," he mumbled, his eyes struggling to focus.
You chuckled softly. "Baby that's just the anesthesia talking," you replied playfully. "But I'll take the compliment."
"Good," he hummed in satisfaction, resting his head back on the pillow comfortably. “You’re also like super hot,” he murmured, causing you to keep giggling.
“I’m lucky to have you,” he continued. “No one has ever cared this much about me…and I love you.”
Your heart melted at his words, your hands moving up to cup his face. Whether he truly meant it or not, you weren’t sure but it didn’t matter because you felt the same.
“Oh J I love you too,” you hum, leaning down to press a kiss to his lips. “But I fully expect you to say it again when you’re alert and sober,” you giggle.
Jeremy grinned. “Deal…now can you kiss me again? I hear it’s part of the recovery,” he mused cheekily.

J. Drysdale - Drago-nita
Tumblr media
✄————————————
Jamie Drysdale x Fem!reader (really light implications of feelings)
Requested✨
Word Count: 3.6k
Warning(s): Not much. Mention of sickness, assumptions of a dead animal. General dumbassery from Trev and J.. maybe a little from the reader too.
Gif was too good not to use. Jamie looking as exasperatedly at the title as I imagine the reader does at Trevor when he says it…
—————————————
I had just settled in bed. Just gotten comfortable and warm under my blankets, when I got a call from Jamie.
I told him he could contact me at any point while Trevor was out of the house on a road trip. Jamie seemed to do fine on his own the first few days, handling his sprained wrist well on top of everything else. Apparently I was wrong.
“It’s not moving.”
I didn’t know what to think when I heard him speak over the line. He sounded so worried, but I didn’t understand what ‘it’ was.
“Jamie,” I sighed his name into the receiver. I just wanted to rest, but there was a nagging concern in the back of my head. “What’s not moving?”
“Drago.. I poked him.. he’s like.. he’s cold.” I heard him pause, then a ruffle follow over the phone. It took me a moment to remember who and what Drago was. “Oh my god..” the words were dragged out in a whisper of slow realization.
“I think I killed Trevor’s lizard.” Despite the fact that he was home alone, Jamie was still quiet. As if at any moment, Trevor might break the door down and smite him for causing the death of the poor little animal.
“J, have you been feeding it?” I slowly sat up, trying not to sound too frustrated as I rubbed at one of my eyes.
“Yes! And putting water in the cage whenever its sponge gets dry.” I can tell Jamie is worried, but I’m not sure how to even go about a situation like this. Or why I was called to handle it.
“You have to come over and look at him.. okay? Please.” I truly did not want to get out of bed.
“If Drago’s dead, he’s dead, Jame.. there’s nothing I can really do about it.” I felt bad turning him down, but that was the truth.
“I just need somebody else to look at him. I’m really sorry.. I just- I don’t want to throw him out in case he’s actually still alive.”
I felt bad for Trevor. He really thought the best idea was to leave his lizard with a guy who planned to just throw it out if it was dead? No send off? No calling to at least let Trevor see it one last time before throwing it in the back yard for the vultures?
I could understand Jamie’s thought process on it a little. Many people saw lizards and reptiles as pets, but I personally did not. I didn’t mind Drago, though he did creep me out a little. But the idea of crying over a dead lizard didn’t exactly strike me as compelling. Or something you’d see in a sad movie.
Still, if it mattered to Trevor, I’d hate to just throw it out.
“Can you wait five minutes?” I gave in eventually, unsure if the sound of Jamie’s voice or the worry about Trevor’s abnormal pet was what pushed me to give in.
“I can wait, yeah.. what do you think I should do? Do I take him out or.. turn up the heat lamp? He feels really cold. I can hold him in front of the heater…”
I listened to Jamie’s rambling, holding my breath in frustration until I could finally get a word in. “Jamie! Jamie.. don’t- don’t touch the lizard. Okay? Just.. go do something else and wait for me to get there.”
“Yeah.. yeah okay.” I bid the poor boy goodbye before hanging up the phone and getting dressed to make the short drive to Jamie and Trevor’s. How hard was it to keep a lizard alive?
Once I got to their home, I landed a few gentle knocks on the door. Jamie opened it like he’d been standing there waiting, and he looked like a mother who had been handling a crying baby all night. I pray for him, the day he gets his own home.
“He’s this way.” Jamie grabbed my hand, dragging me inside and shutting the door before pulling me through the house and up the steps, eventually into Trevor’s room. It was pitch black except for the heat lamp on in the corner on Trevor’s desk.
I searched for the light switch before flipping the room light on.
“Wait! Trevor said he likes the dark.” Jamie reached to turn the light back out, but I pulled my hand from his own to shove the reaching hand away.
“He doesn’t have a preference if he’s dead.” I argued, watching the way Jamie’s face fell with worry. I panicked. “Well- well he might not be.” I rested a hand on his back before Jamie led me over to the tank. We both leaned forward, hands on our knees, peering into the side of the tank at the unmoving creature, laid out on a tiny log.
“So?” Jamie asked, our eyes both searching for a single inch of movement.
“Looks pretty dead to me.”
Jamie drew out another one of those long, ‘oh my god’s’ of disbelief, standing upright as his hands flew to hold the back of his head.
“Trevor‘s gonna kill me!” I quickly turned to look at Jamie, my brow furrowing in concern. The lizard, I didn’t have much feeling for. But Jamie? Poor Jamie. And Trevor would be upset. Devastated.
“No he won’t! Well just..” god I hated to pull something so stupid. “We’ll go buy a new one.” I could tell Jamie didn’t like the idea much either.
“Tomorrow.. okay? We’ll take a few photos of him, go to the pet store, and find the one that looks closest to him. Trevor will never know.” At least I hoped.
“But that feels wrong,” Jamie reasoned. At this point, I worried more about their friendship, and Trevor’s feelings, than the lizard.
“It’s a lizard, Jame. You can’t pet or cuddle a lizard.. or hold it or walk it. It sits in a tank and you stare at it.”
“No. No Trevor always let it sit on his shoulders, or curl up in his sweatshirt hoods. He would play video games with it- and he let Drago pick movies on movie nights sometimes!” Which was always Godzilla. But Jamie never minded. They both loved Godzilla.
“He let that thing out of the tank?” I was horrified at the concept, but Jamie nodded to solidify his previous statements. Something about Trevor cuddling a lizard seemed so gross and yet so normal for him.
“Well then.. okay so..” I placed my hands on my hips, watching as Jamie dropped to sit on the foot of Trevor’s bed. “Okay.. we’ll get the new one, and just.. condition him to do all the things Drago did with Trevor.”
What was I even talking about? We were going to train a lizard?
Jamie still didn’t look all too convinced, but he gave in nonetheless.
“I’ll call you in the morning, J.” I turned to leave the room, but Jamie quickly stood up and slipped around me to block the doorway.
“Wait.. don’t go.” I could tell he was still anxious.
“I want to sleep in a bed, Jamie. And in clothes that aren’t jeans.”
“You can sleep in my bed. I’ll take Trevor’s.. and I’ll grab you something. I just.. it sucks being alone..” the sound in his voice I didn’t recognize. Sadness? I thought Jamie had been fine with a little independence, but perhaps I should have reached out a bit more.
“Fine. But I want one of your fluffy sweaters.” Jamie’s face lit up, nodding and quickly disappearing down the hall. I followed close behind, stepping into the doorway of his room and waiting patiently as he pulled out a pair of gym shorts and one of his sweaters. I’d look like Adam Sandler, but as long as it was comfortable, I’d sleep in anything. Jamie turned to hand me the clothing, smiling at me all the while, but the admiration on my face slowly shifted into realization.
I didn’t want Jamie sleeping in the same room as the lizard he killed. He’d keep himself up.
“Jame. Why don’t you sleep in your bed? It’s big enough for the both of us.” He seemed to hesitate, searching my face for discomfort before nodding. He was already dressed for bed, in his own shorts and an old Ducks shirt, but he stepped out of his room to give me the space I needed to change, shutting the door behind himself.
Jamie and I had fallen asleep together before. We were a touchy pair. But never had we really slept together in a bed. I slipped my clothes off and folded them up, placing everything on the top of Jamie’s dresser. I considered leaving my bra on before deciding against it, slipping that off as well and tossing it on top of my clothing before I slipped into Jamie’s huge sweater and the shorts he gave me. I pulled at the strings and tied them as tightly as I could around my waist.
I definitely looked like I was about to go beat my old rivals on the basketball court. Or become a wedding singer. Or hey, maybe even get my high school diploma and play college football. I giggled at the sight of myself, rolling my eyes. The sweater smelled amazing, but then again.. Jamie always smelled amazing.
“Alright, you can come in.” Jamie was quick to open the door and slip inside, pushing it shut behind himself. A gesture I would have found concerning if this wasn’t someone I was so close to. I assumed it was only a habit he had, shutting his door before going to bed at night.
Jamie’s eyes looked over my body, and it seemed he found my appearance as amusing as I did.
“You look funny.” I rolled my eyes at him before making my way over to his bed.
“Another comment on my clothes and I’ll suffocate you with your own duvet, Drysdale.” I muttered, hearing him laugh. Jamie found his way around to the other side of the bed. I paid no mind to the fact that I was technically on his side, where his nightstand was with his chargers and such. He didn’t seem to mind anyway.
“I usually listen to music when I sleep.. do you mind?” His voice made me shake my head as I laid down.
“Go for it.” I rolled onto my side and watched as he pulled his phone out and pressed play on some playlist, setting his phone down on the empty nightstand on his new side for the night.
Jamie pulled the covers back and laid down in the empty space, placing his hands one on top of the other on his pillow before resting his head on them. He looked like a little girl ready to share secrets with her bestie. And that excited smile on his face only solidified the look. It was like we didn’t have a dead lizard in the other room at all. The smile didn’t remain though. The silence let both of our minds wander, and I watched concern overtake Jamie’s features again. His gaze dropped to the sheets, a frown tugging at the corners of his lips.
“Do you think Trevor’s gonna be mad?” His voice broke our comfortable silence as he moved a hand from beneath his head to rub the fabric of the shirt I wore between his fingers.
“Go to bed, Jamie.” I spoke softly, encouraging him to relax, batting his hand away and turning onto my back. I heard him sigh, but I didn’t look at him any more. Truth is, if Trevor found out, I didn’t know how he’d feel.
We both fell asleep at some point, I’m not sure when, but I knew he was out before I was, because the sound of his snoring was certainly a surprise to me. I’d never heard him snore, and I never expected it to be so amusing either.
——————
When I woke up, I felt the weight of a hand holding the fabric of the sweater on my back. At some point in the night, I had rolled onto my side, and it seemed Jamie had gotten ahold of me. I was careful shaking his hand off before I turned to look at him, on his own back, one arm draped over his stomach while the other laid on the bed beside me.
I rubbed at my eyes and slowly sat up, yawning and stretching. The lizard was an awful reminder of what we had in store for us today. I almost didn’t want to wake Jamie up to have to burden him with his own mistakes, but I wasn’t going to let him lay around while I replaced Drago.
“Jamie…” I whispered in a sing-song tone, grabbing his hand and lifting his knuckles to my lips. I pressed a gentle kiss to the back of his hand, smiling at the way his head turned and his dark hair fell over his eyes.
“Jame,” I dropped his hand to the bed and poked at his side a few times before finding a spot that tickled. He giggled, his eyelids squeezing before they fluttered open. A happy morning Jamie was a good morning Jamie. It brought a smile to my lips while I gave him time to wake up both physically and mentally.
“We have to get into PetSmart.”
That didn’t seem to make Jamie happy, but I wanted to get the stress out of the way early so we wouldn’t dwell on it all day.
The two of us did our own thing getting ready, and I allowed Jamie time in the bathroom to fix his hair while I went to take photos of the lizard- in the same spot as before. By the time I was done, Jamie was standing in the doorway of Trevor’s room, in a crewneck and a pair of jeans, holding his car keys with pursed lips.
——————
“Okay.. it has to have these dark scales down the sides of its head.. right here,” I tried to show Jamie the phone despite the fact that he was driving. He spared it a halfhearted glance before looking back at the road.
“They all look.. sorta similar.. right?” Jamie’s question made me stop to think.
“Yeah… I guess they probably do.”
What made me worry though, was that Trevor probably knew every single scale on that thing from the way Jamie described his relationship with the lizard.
Once we found a place to park at the PetSmart, Jamie and I were quick to get ourselves inside, both uncertain of where to go, but the woman at the cash register helped with a kind smile.
“What are we looking for today?” She stepped out from her small area after she finished checking someone out.
“A bearded dragon?”
My question seemed to catch her off guard.
“Wasn’t expecting that. Usually young couples come in here wanting to adopt one of our cats.”
Jamie’s face went red before mine did, but neither of us knew what to say.
“Come on. They’re this way.” She turned to walk down the isles, and we followed suit. She stopped by the reptiles, taking her time examining the small tag outside each tank, until she found the bearded dragons. “Here they are.”
Jamie and I spent a good half an hour examining all the little creatures before we found one we decided was the best fitting option. Then we paid and took it home. One task out of the way.
Jamie didn’t want to hold it at first, or even touch it, but I insisted it was his job because he was always around when Trevor played with it. I swear I saw him go pale the first time he grabbed it.
Everything seemed to be going decently until Jamie got a call from Trevor, his fellow Duck explaining that he’d gotten some kind of sinus infection and the physician wouldn’t let him play. That he’d just gotten off of his flight home, and he couldn’t wait to sleep in his own bed.
Jamie and I began to panic at that point. Because it meant Trevor would be home within the next few minutes.
“Just put it in the cage!” Jamie shoved the lizard into my hands, and I gagged at the feeling.
“Jamie!” I scolded, but he was already rushing down the hall, and I had to helplessly follow with the scaly creature.
“What do we do with the old one?” When I entered Trevor’s room, my eyes landed on the dead lizard. I wondered if it was normal for a lizard not to decompose or even stink after two days of being.. well.. dead.
“Can we throw it in the back yard?” I hated suggesting doing something so terrible to an animal Trevor loved, even if I didn’t like the creature.
“What if he sees it? Or steps on it?” Both of us grimaced at the thought.
Then the front door opened.
“Holy shit.” I panicked.. the lizard in my hand began to crawl up my arm. “Jamie!” I practically shouted. He quickly reached out to grab it.
“Jimmy.. bud?” Trevor called as he walked down the hall, concerned at the sound of my yelling.
Jamie acted on impulse, cracking the top of the tank open and dropping the lizard in before he shut it.
We left the dead one.
Trevor quickly stepped into his bedroom, eyeing the sight of both of us standing around, acting as if nothing had happened.
I watched his brow raise. I took a step closer to my preferred Duck, and he rested a hand on my shoulder.
“You guys doing something in here?” His tone took on a natural suspicious sound, along with the congested one.
I looked up at Jamie, and Jamie looked down at me. “No?” I tried. “We were just-“
“I came to feed Drago.. she just wanted to see him.” Jamie blurted out, a nervous smile forming on his lips. Did he always look that awkward when he was lying? I never would have suggested buying a new lizard if I knew he was shit at telling a tale.
“Did you guys do something to him?” Trevor quickly dropped his bag, walking over to the tank. His voice sounded miserable, scratchy and nasally. “Dude.. those antibiotics must be crazy.. I’m seeing double.”
Trevor popped the top off the tank, reaching in to gently touch the dead lizard before he attempted to poke the other. He came to the quick realization that they were both real. “Did my lizard have a baby? What the hell?” He seemed absolutely confused, but Jamie and I weren’t planning on saying anything if Trevor really believed Drago had a kid.
“Yo, I thought Drago was a boy..” Trevor reached for his dead lizard, picking it up and resting it in the palm of his hand. I was horrified when I saw its eyes open.
“Uh no way!” I stepped back into Jamie. “That thing was-“ the taller immediately clasped a hand over my mouth, only pulling it down when he knew I’d be silent.
“Just started hibernating, I know.. the lady I spoke to said they can sleep for days and weeks at a time at the beginning.” Trevor smiled, resting Drago on his shoulder. “Guess he.. or.. she must have been exhausted after laying an egg.” He paused, “don’t reptiles lay multiple though?”
“I didn’t know what to do with them.. I didn’t figure you wanted a bunch of baby lizards so.. so I took them out.” Trevor only shrugged and nodded at Jamie’s words. He probably wouldn’t have wanted a bunch of tiny lizards.
“I missed one I guess.. thought I’d surprise you.”
Did he really not understand the mating process? Did Trevor just assume his lizard had a tiny Jesus lizard? Did I even want to ask and risk us getting caught?
“Guess Drago’s a Dragonita.. huh?”
Pure disappointment flashed across my face. Who made him pull out of basic science in high school? Which teacher failed him? Which teacher did he fail?
Now I understood why nobody on the Ducks thought Trevor was ready for a dog.
“I’m going home.” I shook my head, holding my hands up in mock surrender. I was losing brain cells being a part of this conversation.
“You don’t wanna hold DJ?” Trevor asked as I had gotten to his bedroom door. I just had to turn and ask what he meant.
“DJ?”
“Drago Junior.” Trevor beamed with pride, like a new dad. I wanted so badly to tell him that his bearded dragon was not a woman, and that she did not have eggs, and that the new lizard was store bought. But when I looked back at Jamie, I simply sighed at the relief on his face. I couldn’t out him. I couldn’t tell Trevor we planned on just replacing the little guy.
“I don’t like lizards.” It was supposed to be an excuse not to hold it. And it was the truth, but it contradicted with what Jamie told Trevor when he first got home.
“What do you mean? You were in here ‘cause you wanted to see them!” Trevor smiled and sniffed. I don’t know how anyone can have so much energy when they have a sinus infection. Trevor always defied all odds.
Jamie’s pleading eyes made me give in and hold my hands out.
“Hell yeah. DJ’s gonna love you.”
DJ did love me. But I did not love DJ. My entire morning was spent trying to fix this whole mess, only to come to the realization that a Google search would have fixed it. I went the rest of the evening curled up on the couch against Jamie, with a stupid lizard hanging off my chest, watching Godzilla. I made a silent promise to myself that I would never again help Jamie with lizard troubles.

Part Two (Request for #32)
Here is the part two some of y'all requested! Thank you for your engagement!
Pt. 1
Pt. 3
Pt. 4
You tried to play it off, pretending like you didn’t know what he meant so you laughed lightly. “What? Jay, what are you talking about?” You asked. Your eyebrows knit together and you stood stone-still, afraid he could see how badly you were shaking.
This was it. You’d been so afraid of this moment and here it finally was. How he figured it out, you had no idea. You were freaking out on the inside but you tried to tell yourself there was still hope. Maybe he was kidding.
“You are Havoc. I don’t know what kind of sick game you’ve been playing but infiltrating my personal life is another level of evil. I’m going to take a lot of pleasure in killing you, but don’t let that fuel your ego.”
Your knees just about gave out. What the fuck was he talking about killing you for? You backed up until you hit the cabinets behind you with a loud thunk.
“J-Jason…” You sputtered. It was no use. From his waistband he pulled out a gun and began to load it. Your heart felt like it was going to beat out of your chest. He was slow and methodical about his movements, knowing you weren’t going anywhere. You should run, you should do anything but you couldn’t find it in you to move at all. You were stuck.
“Don’t try anything Havoc. I’m not letting you go now that you know my identity. I can’t believe how stupid I am!” He laughed thickly, swallowing hard as the gun was finally loaded. He aimed and placed a finger on the trigger. “I gave everything to you. I gave you everything.” He reiterated. You could see the gun shake as he did, obviously tortured by the whole situation.
Some sort of hope blossomed inside of you and you took a shaky step forward. Maybe he could be reasoned with. “Jason. Please. I don’t know what you’re talking about. I don’t know anything. Please, please put the gun down.” You begged. It wasn’t until just now that you realized you were crying. You let the sobs wrack your body, hoping to appeal to his humanity. You were trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together, trying to figure out how he knew your secret until it clicked.
Red Hood. Jason Todd was the Red Hood.
That’s how he figured it out, he had access to all of Batman’s technology and he had probably been digging for months trying to figure out who you were until he finally let himself realize the truth. You imagined how hard that must’ve been for him, how betrayed he must feel and you let yourself fall to the floor as the weight of guilt came crashing.
Guilt? Was it guilt? Were you capable of feeling guilt? You hadn’t thought so. You decided to override your emotions and turn on your instincts. This was life or death and no time for analyzing your silly ‘feelings’.
“Don’t play mind games with me.” He demanded, standing fast and letting the chair clatter to the floor beneath him. “You can’t escape this one. You’re dead.”
You covered your head with your hands, crying and screaming and praying this would just end soon because jeez your throat was starting to hurt. He was being so frustrating. Why, of all people, did Red Hood have to be the one to be following you? You should’ve moved to Blüdhaven, maybe then you wouldn’t be held at gunpoint in your kitchen.
After a moment, you wondered why he hadn’t pulled the trigger yet. You looked up at him and realized the gun was down and he was staring at the ground, somewhere else. Slowly, you moved to a sitting position and waited for him to speak.
It felt like hours before he finally said anything.
“I love you, you know.” He choked.
You think your heart broke. God, was he getting you to open up?
Come to think of it, Jason was the only person who ever made you feel like, well, a person. Everyone else had kicked you to the dirt but Jason was always there for you. You saw a future with him. You saw a life worth living when you thought of him.
Fuck.
“Jason.” You whispered, slowly standing. You held your hands up, showing you meant no harm.
“It’s true. I am Havoc. I know you know but… Well, you’re right I guess. I don’t know. Listen, I’ll stop. I’ll give it up for you. Hell, I’ll even fight alongside you. I’ll… I’ll do anything. I just don’t want to lose you.”
Jason mumbled something you couldn’t hear.
“What?” You asked, taking a cautious step toward him.
“What about the people you’ve killed.” He bellowed, his voice unlike anything you’d ever heard.
You stumbled back in fear and again the tears began to flow. “Jason.” You sobbed, “Please don’t do this. I can be saved. I think I’m sick, I think there’s something wrong with me.”
He shook his head. “You can’t pull that card, you’ve been to Arkham. You had a chance at rehabilitation.”
You shook your head too. “NO! You don’t understand! Arkham is an awful place, they don’t care about the criminally insane, we’re treated like animals there. I was forcefed so many pills I forgot my name. That’s not rehabilitation. The doctors are no better than the people they ‘treat’.”
“You are not a person. Not to me.”
He unloaded the gun and stuck it back in his waistband. “Listen to me.” He demanded.
“I don’t want to see you again. Not as you, not as Havoc. You stay the fuck out of trouble and stay the fuck out of my life. Do you understand?”
You nodded quickly, backing up toward the cabinet again. “I understand.” It was better this way. He should stay away from you, you were no good for him. He was right. You’re not a person.
But you might be someday. You were right too, the emotion you were feeling was guilt, and it was crushing.
-----
Jason left that day without another word and you collapsed back on your kitchen floor and allowed yourself to heave and sob and feel everything you hadn’t felt in years. Who knew all it took was a breakup with your true love to straighten you out?
After that, you kept your word.  You went to therapy, real therapy, and got help. You worked on yourself. You became better. The best part?
You got really damn good at axe throwing.

Threatened Reader 2 (HC)
Fandom: Blackstar Theater Starless
Pairing: Sotetsu, Qu, Akira, Heath, Menou with fem!Reader
Warning: Death, suicide, mental spiraling/depression, blood, self-harm.
Requested by: Potato
Prompt: I think I've finally recovered enough to ask for another Threatened Reader if you're up for it? Nothing huge cast member wise, maybe Sotetsu, Qu, Akira, Heath, Menou? - P
Original prompt: A reader ignoring their lover because a random fangirl said so or They will Kill her? The leader gets sad and keep forcing them to talk to them but when she yelled at them for the reason she ignored them she gets a bullet shot on her head?….I just want to know how they would react to that can you do a headcannon?
A/N: I FINALLY finished it, and it only took me ages. 😭 Please take the warning seriously. There is some VERY heavy stuff under the cut. Kids, not meant for your eyes!
----------------------------
Prologue:
“Why are you ignoring me? Did I do something wrong?” The anxiety and desperation in his voice were evident.
“Just leave me alone!” It pained you to say those words, but you had no choice. You chose to keep your back to him, no wanting to see his distressed expressions.
You wish that you had never met the insane fangirl on that accursed day. Her words kept ringing in your ears over and over. Stay away from him, or else I will kill you.
You would’ve taken her threat with a grain of salt had it not been for the crazed look in her eyes. She meant every word.
While you were busy with your thoughts, you failed to notice your lover behind you. He quickly wrapped his arms tightly around you.
“Don’t do this to me.”
No matter how hard you struggled, you couldn’t get out of his iron grip.  As you continue your attempt to get out of his hold, your eyes rapidly scanned the area. You prayed that she was not around.
“Enough! At least tell me why you’re doing this!?”
The anger in his voice snapped something inside you. “Because I don’t want to die!”
“What?” His grasp around you loosened as he stared in shock.
“One of your fans threatened me! She said to stay away from you if I don’t want to die.” You sighed, “Please, j-just leave-”
Before you could finish your sentence, a loud bang rang through the empty street.
----
Tumblr media
Your body slammed on the concrete, limp and lifeless. Sotetsu’s hand trembled uncontrollably as he wiped your blood from his face. The smell of iron had filled every inch of his nose.
His hands grasped at the thin air as if searching for an anchor, as everything around him began to spin. His eyes blurred with tears as his laughter echoed through the area.
Sotetsu’s laugh was tinged with madness and despair - the laugh of a man who knew the universe was once again being sadistic and taking his happiness from him.
He searched high and low for the fangirl, determined to make her pay, slowly and painfully. He toyed with her, playing a deadly game of cat and mouse. A game that had her fearful to even step out of her house, so he forced her out of her home and continued the game until she could no longer take it and ended her life.
He pretended to be normal after that, but there was always a mad glint in his eyes. But everyone in Starless noticed and was worried about him, but Sotetsu refused to let any of them through.
The memories of the moment you died haunted him - always had him on edge, always watching, waiting for something to go wrong.
Tumblr media
Akira's face turned pallid. He backed away, eyes wide with shock, until his back was pressed against a surface. The singer gasped for air, feeling like someone had a tight grip on his throat.
Though he managed to pry his eyes away from your body, the loud thud of your body colliding with the hard ground echoed repeatedly in his ears. Akira pressed his palms against his ears in an attempt to get the sound to stop, but it refused to go away.
Hours, days, and weeks passed, but he couldn't get that sound out of his head.
He started to flirt with every woman who crossed his path, but his heart remained empty. Every girl fell flat. They were just meaningless, nothing more than objects of momentary distraction.
Akira felt lost and empty. Nothing brought him satisfaction, not even singing.
His life turned into a blur of hedonistic pleasures. He slept with multiple women daily, sometimes several at once, at home, in Starless, in random places, at parties, everywhere.
Even then, he couldn't feel anything. Everyone in Starless was concerned, including Kokuyou. At times, Kokuyou slapped Akira to get him to snap out of it, but nothing worked.
It was like Akira was hoping to destroy himself physically and mentally. Then, maybe just then, he would be able to join you...wherever you were.
Tumblr media
His heart froze in his chest. Qu's hand reached out to you, but it was too late. You were already on the ground. His hand remained in the air, trembling violently. Qu's mouth felt like a desert, and he could barely breathe. A crushing pressure pushed down on his chest, and Qu fainted.
He refused to leave his room and stayed curled in a corner. He remained there like a statue, crying nonstop. Neither Team C nor Maica were able to convince him to come out, eat, or care for himself.
His once beautiful, spotless skin was covered in breakouts, his well-groomed hair was growing out of control, and his physique had shivered to skin and bones.
Maica worked with Hari to find the fangirl who was responsible for your death. Maybe if they made her pay, Qu would slowly gather himself, but she was nowhere to be found.
He was a ghost among the living. No amount of doctors, medicines, or therapy helped. Even the medical professionals had given up on him.
It was his fault that you died, so Qu was repenting by tormenting himself in any way he could. His team members and friends watch helplessly as Qu's life painfully withered away.
Tumblr media
As you lay motionless, your expression one of shock and horror, blood oozed through the hole in your skull. Menou stood in place, his eyes cold and devoid of empathy or remorse.
He walked away, going where his feet carried him. He thought about nothing, and his lifeless eyes stared straight ahead. Menou felt like a shell walking through the world without a purpose.
Every time he closed his eyes, he saw your terror-filled expression and could smell the coopery stench of your blood pouring out of the bullet hole. You were there, mocking him, making him remember over and over that he was responsible for your death.
Menou thought that if he found the woman responsible, you would finally leave him alone. So, he hunted her down. He covered her mouth and tore her to pieces, limb by limb, devoid of expression. But that was still not enough. You continued to mock him.
Team P tried to get him to sleep or visit a doctor and suggested anything and everything that could possibly help him, but Menou ignored them all.
Progressively, the image of your limp body was engraved in his vision. No matter where he looked, he saw you. Unable to take it, he dug his nails around his eyes and didn't stop until he clawed his eyes out. The entire time, he laughed, thinking he was mocking you now because he would no longer be able to see you.
His vision grew darker and darker. It eventually turned pitch black, and that was the last memory Menou's mind retrained before it, too, gave into the permanent darkness.
Tumblr media
Heath dropped to his knees, with a look of horror and despair on his face, and cradled your head in his arms. He tried to wipe the blood away from the bullet wound. But why didn't the blood stop?
In a desperate attempt, he collected your blood in his palm and tried to pour it back into your wound. Why was your body getting cold?
"(Y/n), stop acting. It's not funny. Wake up. Wake...up. WAKE UP!"
Those were the last words Heath ever said as the trauma of losing you attacked his voice. He couldn't speak or rap. Even his uncontrollable sobs were muted.
His team members were breaking down with him. Mizuki would scream at him to snap out of it. Rico and Kongou couldn't bear to see Heath's state and developed trauma of their own. Hinata didn't show it but was severely disturbed by everything. Ran hunted down the fangirl and threw her lifeless body in front of Heath, hoping it would help the rapper recover, but the rapper stared at the body expressionless.
All he did was stare into space, not reacting to anything or anyone unless someone said your name.
One day, Heath saw you. His dull eyes sparkled, and his lips curled into a smile. He called out your name and followed you through the hallways, up the stairs, and to the rooftop.
The cast members heard screams outside the restaurant and ran out to see what was happening. And there was Heath in a pool of his own blood, his limbs sprawled in unnatural positions. But there was a smile on pale, cracked lips. He was finally with you.

~Judy Holliday
----------
In the Lockwood Cellar, Tyler, in wolf form, growled and snarled at Caroline and Matt, snapping his venomous fangs at them. Luckily for them, the iron gate separated them, as Caroline held the gates shut, as she was unable to reach the chains.
"Caroline, let me help!" Matt tried to reason with her.
"Get back," The eternal teenager ordered, "I got it!"
Just as she said that, Tyler lunged at the gate, fitting his snout through the doors, as he kept snapping and snarling.
Caroline flinched as the deadly drool landed on her skin, but kept holding the gate steady.
Matt aimed his rifle at Tyler, the wolf recognising the danger, backed up, before trying to lunge again.
"Caroline, the door's not going to hold." Matt warned her.
For once, Klaus found himself agreeing with the human. The cage was meant to keep the wolf in, not out, especially when it was unchained.
The hybrid had to glance at Caroline to remind himself, and push the worry down, that his baby vampire was ok. The useless pup didn't manage to get to her.
Matt took a few steps back in fear, but continued to hold his gun towards Tyler. "Come on!" He pleaded.
"Tyler, please!" Caroline begged, trying to get through to the man in the wolf, but the beast didn't let up on his relentless attacks.
Matt's survival instincts kicked in as he finally pulled the trigger, shooting Tyler in the shoulder. The wolf let out a yelp, but didn't go down, so Matt pulled the trigger again.
Caroline flinched away from the scene at the wolf's second yelp. "Matt! No, hey, no! It's Tyler!"
"It's trying to kill us!" Matt defended himself.
Matt raised his rifle again, but Caroline stopped him, "Wait!" she said, as she looked at the wolf who was laying down on the ground, panting in pain as his body struggled to heal itself after the two consecutive shots. "He's wounded." The vampire said, realizing the wolf wouldn't be able to move for a while.
"Caroline, stay back." Matt said, as he realized what she was about to do.
But it was too late as Caroline began to open the door. "We can go around him."
Katherine let out a whistle, impressed. "You can be quite the little daredevil when you want to be, huh sunshine."
"It was actually quite smart." Sage noted. "That would be the best time to move. He's wounded, so you'll have a higher chance of escaping without giving him an opening to attack. He'd be too slow. Pretty smart." She complimented the blond. "But 'we'? I would leave the human behind."
"I wouldn't, "Caroline glared at the red head. "Ever!"
Sage raised an eyebrow, the girl definitely had fire, she thought, her lips curving upward into a small smirk.
Finn glanced at the women he loved, it was rare for Sage to take a liking to someone, but when she did, she always protected them. So far he'd only seen the blond as someone his younger brother was interested in, an interesting feat, but nothing he'd give attention to. But it seems he'd need to re-evaluate the young vampire.
Sage wasn't the only one smiling, Bonnie was as well, though the witches were a lot softer. Of course, how could she be so stupid. She was still the same Caroline. Being a vampire didn't change who you are, it only amplified them. And if there was one thing Caroline was, it was loyal. Even as a child, Caroline fiercely protected those she considered hers. Yet she turned her back on her, when her best friend needed her the most... the witch's smile fell, as guilt ate up at her.
Shelia smiled, pleased that this was going the way she intended. She wasn't doing this to make her granddaughter feel bad. Bonnie was meant to take a second look at her actions, and realize her faults, so she could become aware of them, and fix them. She had been making rash decisions without knowing the full story, well it was time for them all to learn the whole story.
"Are you nuts?" Matt asked, aiming his weapon again.
"You're not going to shoot him again, okay?" Caroline said, offering her hand. "Okay. Matt, take my hand." She said, when Matt hesitated.
Matt glanced at it, but didn't accept, so Caroline opened the door and walked out, Matt followed behind her, with the gun still aimed at Tyler.
Klaus' shoulders tensed as Caroline walked out, and he glanced at her.
This time, Caroline caught him from the corner of her eye. She moved her head slightly to face him, and mouthed, 'I'm alright.'
He felt himself relax, and the tension leave his body with her two simple words. That was Caroline, brave, even in the face of danger.
"I got it." Matt said.
Caroline glanced behind at him, "Matt, take my hand." She told him, firmer this time.
The human finally complied and placed the rifle over his shoulder as he took Caroline's hand and she flashed the two of them out of the cellar.
----------
Back at Alaric's residence, Damon and Katherine were at Alaric's wet bar, observing the werewolf bite on his arm.
"So that's what a werewolf bite looks like." Katherine said, fascinated as she stood over him.
"Yep." Damon said.
"It's not that bad." Katherine noted.
"It gets worse." Caroline winced, remembering her own experience.
Kol smirked, "Yeah, not exactly your best wooing tactic, was it big brother".
Klaus opened his mouth, but Caroline beat him to it, "Saying that, 'saving me was always part of the plan', doesn't fix it."
"But my blood did." Klaus replied, flashing her a boyish smile, his dimples fully visible. Caroline let out a huff, and turned back to the screen.
Elijah watched the exchange in shock, when was the last time his brother let someone cut him off, let alone speak to him like that. His brother was almost... playful. But that wasn't possible, was it?
"Will be." Damon said, as he remembered Rose. He stood up and rolled down his sleeves. The fabric irritated the wound, but at least he wouldn't have to look at it this way.
"So that's it? You're just...going to die?" Katherine asked.
"Well, that depends. You know anything about a cure?" Damon asked, not having any expectations.
Katherine shakes her head.
Damon sighed, if even Katherine, a woman who had connections everywhere didn't know about a cure, then there just wasn't going to be one.
"Well, if you blood idiots put your connected single brain cell to the use, instead of just focusing on the bloody doppelganger, you could do the math and realize that a cure would exist before the night is up." Kol snarked.
"How much do you want to bet their precious doppelganger wouldn't suddenly mind dying like the martyr she is." Rebekah added.
"I-I", Elena spoke up, but she didn't have anything to say.
Rebekah smirked, leave it to Eleana Gilbert to give her the perfect opportunity, "What, you can't tell Stefan that you would die for Damon, but wouldn't live for him?" She taunted.
Elena stayed quiet, and Stefan knew that what Rebekah said was completely true.
Elena would die for Damon,
But she wouldn't live for him.
Damon grabbed his jacket off the couch, and slid it on. "Me, either."
"145 years and no last good-bye?" Katherine pouted playfully.
Damon glared at her, "You don't get a good-bye." She clearly didn't know a cure, and she was his best bet, so the last thing he wanted was to spend any more time than necessary with her.
Damon turns away from her. But Katherine wasn't done yet, so she flashed in front of him, and placed her hand on his chest to stop him. "No. Don't leave mad." Katherine pouts.
"You just can't leave him alone can you!" Elena said sharply.
Katherine shrugged, "I couldn't leave until Klaus got back or it would have been worse. I was bored and he was my only entertainment."
Damon looked down, of course that's what it was. Katherine only ever saw him as a toy to keep her boredom away.
Elena saw Damon's reaction, and jealousy smacked her across the face, silencing her.
Damon couldn't still have feelings for Katherine could he?!
He loved her... or did he love Katherine's face on her?
"Y-you-" Elena tried to get her words out.
Katherine smirked, and turned to Elijah, completely ignoring Elena, "Did you really have to spend the next days chasing Klaus and cleaning up his messes, when you could have been chasing me?" She pouted. The best reaction you can give someone who wants one, is no reaction at all. Elena wasn't even worth her time.
Elijah gave her a soft smile, as he saw Katherine's playfulness shine through.
"Us ending up on good terms isn't exactly on my bucket list, Katherine." Damon rolled his eyes.
Damon tried to walk out, but Katherine stopped him again.
"Klaus made me call Jenna to lure her out. There was nothing that I could do. I didn't have a choice." She defended herself.
"That's why I gave you the vervain. So you had a choice." Damon reminded her.
"It was her or me. I chose her." Katherine answers.
"I helped you. You owed me." Damon said, starting to get angry. "Now when Klaus dies, you're going to walk out of here without a scratch and Elena's aunt dies. Somehow you're the only one that wins. How'd that happen?"
Klaus rolled his eyes, "Again, the worst you could do is desicate me. If there was another way to kill us than a White Oak Stake, don't you think our countless enemies, who are much older than you children, would have found it by now?" Klaus reminded them.
"Katherine didn't say anything!" Elena shouted.
Katherine raised an eyebrow, "Was I supposed to? What happened to you wasn't my concern. Fight or Flight. I choose flight, I live. You chose to fight, you died. See who really won her? Spoiler alert, it's me."
Elena growled, and launched at Katherine, but the vampire effortlessly snapped the human's neck.
"Elena!" Caroline shouted, rushing to her friend's side, Bonnie following behind her.
"She's not breathing..." Bonnie said, her voice quite.
Katherine rolled her eyes, "Of course she isn't, I snapped her neck."
"You bitch!" Damon growled, rushing at Katherine, but he was stopped by Elijah's hand at his throat.
"Let's all act like civilized people, shall we." Elijah said to the group, his hand tightening around Damon's throat.
"Come on, it was just getting good." Kol complained.
Damon still wasn't done, "W-ell... y-you te-ll you're bi-", before Damon could finish, Elijah ripped out his heart, faster than even the vampire eyes could comprehend.
Elijah dropped Damon's body onto the floor next to Elena's. "Anyone else?" He asked, before sitting down.
"I didn't let love get in the way." Katherine said.
"Enjoy an eternity alone, Katherine." Damon growled, walking past Katherine.
"What are you going to do?" Katherine asked from behind him.
Damon turned around to look at Katherine, "I'm going to offer myself as a replacement to Klaus." He said, determined to get his way.
"He won't take you." She informed him, "He saw your bite, he said that your blood is impure. I'm sorry, Damon. But Jenna's dead, there's nothing you can do about it."
Rebekah let out a laugh. "Of Course he wouldn't. What would be the fun in that? The werewolf bite is a much cruler, slower way to die, then just getting your heart ripped out."
Klaus looked sick, "She's right, I waited a thousand years to break that curse, I wasn't going to risk it with a tainted vampire."
"Did you just say I was right?" Katherine asked, her smile sharp like a cat who got the canary.
Klaus glared at her, "Don't let it get to your head."
"Oh I wouldn't dare." Katherine said in a saccharine tone, as she placed a hand on her heart.
----------
Elena woke up with a gasp, just as Damon shot up.
Stefan squeezed his brother's shoulders, but Damon shrugged it off as he went to Elena's side.
"Are you alright?", "Do you feel ok?", Carolien and Bonnie asked at the same time, still by Elena's side..
Elena glared at Katherine, "I died."
The vampire smirked, "You woke up just in time for the sacrifice."
Elena and Jenna were sitting on the ground. Jenna was clutching her head, as all her new senses overwhelmed her.
Jenna ran her fingers through her hair and pressed them on her skull, trying to put pressure on the pain that was running through her head, "Oh, my head. What's wrong with me?"
"Do you remember what happened?" Elena asked, moving closer to Jenna.
"You called me. You were so scared." Jenna told her story, regret and panic filling her voice. "Oh, ah, I should have realized that it wasn't you. The second I walked out of the house, someone grabbed me. A vampire."
"Klaus." Elena concluded without a thought, "It was Klaus."
"You killed my aunt twice?" Elena said, glaring at the hybrid.
Klaus rolled his eyes, "Actually, I wasn't the one who snapped her neck. I had much more pressing matters to see to on the most important night of my life, than just purley making your life miserable."
At Elena's open mouth, Kol let out a chuckle, "Obviously my brothers primping 'on the most important night of his life', was much more important than turning your aunt."
Klaus growled, "Actually, I was ensuring everything was in place."
"So just barking orders at our minions like a bridezilla?" Rebekah asked in a saccharine tone, her lips curled upwards in a 'sweet', smile.
Klaus turned his glare form his brother, to his sister, but couldn't say anything, as she wasn't exactly wrong.
"He made me drink his blood. And I don't..." She tried to recall what happened next, but nothing came up. "I don't remember anything after that." She looked around at her surroundings, anxiously. She could pick up on every single sound around them. The flames cackling, the crickets chirping in the woods, the wind whistling through the trees. It was overwhelming her. "Where are we? What happened?"
Elena grabbed one of Jenna's hands in her own, "We're at the quarry. He brought us here."
"Why don't I remember anything?" Jenna asked, confused.
"Jenna, do you remember...When I told you how someone becomes a vampire?" Elena asks.
"Yeah," Jenna answers, remembering what Alaric had told her, "if you die with vampire blood in your system, it's..." The woman's eyes widen as she realizes what happened to her, "Oh, god. He killed me."
"Jenna, listen to me. Listen to me; everything's going to be okay. I'm going to get you out of here." Elena says, trying to calm her aunt down.
"I'm a vampire?" Jenna shouts, her emotions heightened like they never were before.
"And I bet you're hungry." Greta says, as she approaches them. Elena and Jenna look up at her. Elena see's a sharp rock on the ground and lunges for it, only for the witch to fling her away with a wave of her hand. With another motion, she creates a circle of fire around Elena.
Elena stands up and tries to move, only for the flames to rise higher, trapping her in the circle.
"Don't bother trying to get through. I spelled the circle. You're trapped. No matter what you do." Greta said with a smirk.
"Greta...Please, just- just let her go." Elena begged.
Greta ignored her as she picked up the sharp piece of rock, and slicked her wrist with it. Jenna stared at the blood that dripped from the witch's wound hungrily.
"Klaus chose her." The witch finally spoke, as she lowered her wrist to Jenna's mouth.
"No." Elena shouted at her.
"Drink it." Greta ordered.
"Jenna, don't!" Elena continued to shout.
"Please, you can't stop a newly turned vampire." Rebekah rolled her eyes.
"What do you know?" Elena demanded. "You drank from your own mother."
Rebekah's spine stiffend, she looked as if she was about to lunge for the doppelganger's neck. But she was stopped by Caroline.
"It's not like that at all. You can't stop, even if you want to. You can smell the blood, hear as the heart pumps blood throughout you with every beat." The baby vampire said, recalling her first feed clearly. "Your bodies just finished healing, and the cost of bringing you back from the dead isn't cheap. It's exhausting. Every single cell in your body's completely starving. It's almost like the universe wants a life for a life. A life to bring you back, and then more and more for the time you spend on this earth. So it's actually surprising that five newly turned vampires, who were all feeding on the same woman, didn't kill her. I mean I was the only one who fed on that nurse and I nearly killed her."
Everyone stared at the baby vampire in surprise, but Elijah caught onto the last part quickly. "Nearly?"
"I nearly killed her, but I was able to compel her to bandage up her wound and forget it ever happened. Not that it really mattered, I ended up killing a man at the carnival the same night." Caroline said, looking down as she remembered.
Katherine looked at her, surprised. "I left you in a hospital-"
"YOU DID WHAT!" Klaus roared, within an instant he was out of his chair and slamming Katherine into the opposite wall by her throat.
"Brother-" Elijah tried to reason with him, but Klaus wasn't having it.
"She was newly turned, and in transition, and Katherine just left her in a hospital, full of blood. With surgerious, accidents, and open wounds. There would have been a massacre if it was anyone other than Caroline."
"What?" Bonnie asked, surprised.
"Well simply put, not all baby vampire's are control freaks." Kol swung an arm around Bonnie's shoulder. "They aren't exactly born like Rippers, as Stefan was. But well... let's just say baby vampire's aren't known for their control."
Bonnie pushed Kol away, as guilt ate away at her.
"Older vampire's are expected to mentor their sirelings, a general rule for the vampire's to follow as a result of the deal the Originals have with the governments." Sage added.
"Wait, what deal?" Damon asked, but everybody ignored him, which made him seeth in anger.
"Do you have any idea what you would have done to her if it had succeeded?" Klaus growled at Katherine.
Klaus was about to rip out Katherine's heart, but he was pushed away by Caroline, who flashed between Klaus and Katherine. "Enough! She did what she did. I did what I did. We can't change that. But what happend, happened for the best."
"You become a vampire!" Elena protested.
"Yeah, well I'm better off for it." Caroline said without doubt. "She helped me."
Damon, not liking what would come up if Caroline kept going, but a hand on Elena's, "Elena, let it go." He said, giving her hand a squeeze. Elena got the message, and pressed her lips together, though she continued to glare at Caroline as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
Klaus sighed, and sat back down. Now, as long as it was about her transition, Caroline would continue to protect Katherine, and that clearly wasn't going to change.
Katherine smirked at Caroline, but the blond shook her head, "This was a one time deal."
"Keep telling yourself that sunshine."
"I can't." Jenna shook her head.
Elena turned to Greta, "Let her go. Hey!"
Jenna, no longer able to stare at the bloody wrist in her face without eating, could no longer resist and let her virgin fangs sink into the witch's wrist.
"No!" Elena screamed as Jenna began drinking, "No."
But Jenna closed her eyes, unable to take anything else in, as the warm blood flowed down her throat and satisfied the monster clawing at her chest.
As soon as Jenna had drunk enough to finish her transition, Greta pulled her wrist out of Jenna's grip, when Jenna tried to stay latched on, Greta pushed her away with a wave of magic.
"That's enough." The witch said, standing up.
"Jenna. It's going to be okay." Elena tried to reassure her aunt, but Greta created another circle of flames around Jenna with a flick, causing the newly turned vampire to flinch away from the flames, looking terrified.
"Look at me. Hey, look at me." Elena called until Jenna turned her head towards Elena, the doppelganger paused for a moment, seeing the blood drip down her aunt's chin. "It's gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay." She said to herself more than her aunt this time."
Jenna shook her head, her lips unable to form words, as the hunger creeped through her, and dark veins created a web around her eyes.

In the Old Witch House, Jeremy and Bonnie were still trying to find a solution in the old grimoires.
"This is useless." Jeremy goraned. "All these grimoires. There has to be something in here to keep Elena from becoming a vampire."
"Well there were certainly spells in there, you just didn't know how to look." Kol said, confirming Jeremy's theory.
"What do you mean? We read through dozens of them, yet we barely managed to find anything other than potions, or talisman spells." Bonnie said, staring at the ex-witch, confused.
"Well you gotta know how to look for them. There's no way witches are just going to leave their heavy hitters out in the open." Kol explained. "Older generation of witches are supposed to teach the younger generation how to decode their grimoires. Their like key's only the witches of the line know, and thus, only those witches can read those spells and use them."
Shelia stared at her granddaughter, with regret in her eyes. She was a proud woman, and she didn't regret many things. But waiting so long until she began teaching Bonnie, was definitely a mistake. She was so afraid her granddaughter would follow in her mother's footsteps, that she failed to realize she was already pushing Bonnie into her mother's footsteps, by keeping a part of her hidden from her.
Bonnie's eyes widened, as she finally realized what that meant. The anger she had buried down for the Salvatours, and Elena's actions, began to rise, as she realized they hadn't just taken her grandmother away from her, but a part of her as well.
"And we'll keep looking." Bonnie insisted. "Until the last minute."
----------
Elijah, Alaric, and Stefan had just parked on the driveway, and were walking across the yard.
"The sacrifice is completed in stages as the full moon sets." The original informed the group. "First the werewolf is killed, then the vampire. Finally the doppelgänger. Once Elena dies, the curse will be broken. Klaus will become a hybrid."
"So when do we attack?" Alaric asks.
"Elena's death will activate his dormant werewolf side. He'll be vulnerable during the transformation. That's when Bonnie comes in." Elijah answered.
"Told you." Kol said in a sing-song voice. "Dear old Elijah needs the sacrifice to happen, how else is he supposed to turn the magic surrounding Klaus, on him, to dessicate him - well more like have Bonnie turn the magic on Klaus to make it easier to dessicate. Plus, let's not insult the intelligence of everybody in this room, except the human doppelganger and salvatores, we all know the only way to kill an original is white oak stake."
"It would have worked if Elijah hadn't turned on us!" Elena whined.
Kol sighed, "Please, Elijah was never on your side, even when he's angry, he is always on team always and forever." He then turned to his brother, "Nik, what did it feel like when Elijah stuck his hand in your chest."
Klaus raised an eyebrow, "Oh, you mean aside from the piercing pain in my chest, and the sting of betrayal?"
Rebekah rolled her eyes, "Please, we've been at the party for a thousand years, you're the one late to it."
The hybrid rolled his eyes, "I was growing weaker, and as if the blood to my body had been cut off."
"That proves my point." Kol smirked, when he saw the Mystic Fall's confused faces, he groaned. "Do I really need to spell it out for you? Fine. What was happening to Nik's body when Elijah was pulling out his heart was that he was basically cutting off circulation, making it harder for Nik's body to pump blood."
"So his body would need more energy and blood to function!" Caroline said, catching on.
"Five points to Hufflepuff." Kol nodded, "and with Bonnie cutting off Klaus connection, I'd even say she'd use the sacrifice magic to strain his body even more, the dessication would become even easier."
Everybody turned to Elijah, amazed. The man in the shit raised an elegant eyebrow, "This should come to no surprise. Niklaus wasn't the only one to study the sacrifice ritual for centuries."
"And you're sure Bonnie will survive this?" Stefan asked.
"If she can deliver him to the brink of death, I'll finish the job myself." Elijah answered.
"Liar!" Klaus, Rebekah, and Kol said in unison.
"You lied straight to their face." Rebekah said, impressed. Elijah left things out when working with others tons of times, but seeing him blatantly lie was quite rare.
"Not so noble are we now." Klaus smirked at his brother.
"Well I may not have planned to kill you, but I never planned for anyone in Mystic Falls to ever see you again." Elijah said, without a hint of remorse.
"Why does that sound so ominous?" Klaus asked his brother.
"Sounds to me like he planned to hide your body in a dark, musky dungeon." Kol answered.
"I would do no such thing." Elijah said, offended. "It would be next to the wine cellar."
"I at least had the decency to keep you guys above ground." Klaus glared at his brother.
"Above ground? You kept them in storage containers." Stefan reminded him.
Klaus glared at Stefan, but before he could say anything, Rebekah screeched, "WAIT! That was permanent! I thought it was temporary, no wonder my poor skin got so pale."
"Rebekah darling, in case you haven't figured it out in the last thousand years, you're a vampire!" Kol reminded his sister, only to get a vase thrown at his head.
Elijah sighed as he stared at the shattered antique, "We should have moved them before this began."
"I have a feeling this won't be the last." Klaus sighed.
Stefan's phone rang before the two men could ask Elijah any more questions.
"Damon." Stefan said, answering the call.
"You're not going to like what I'm about to say." Damon groaned
"Cut to the chase. Is the sacrifice happening or not?" Stefan asked.
"It's happening. I tried to stop it," Damon said, regretful, "but it got...complicated."
"We're sticking with the original plan." Stefan said, having no time to duel on what his brother meant. "We're meeting Bonnie right now."
"He's got Jenna, Stefan." The older vampire revealed.
"What?" Stefan asked, hoping he hadn't heard his brother right.
"He got Kath to lure her out of the house." Damon explained.
Stefan looked back at Alaric, getting worried.
"What is it?" The hunter asked, not liking the look on Stefan's face. "What's wrong?"
"He's going to use her as the vampire in the ritual."
"Oh, my god." Stefan said, eyes wide.
----------
Elena couldn't stop pacing back and forth in the circle of fire, well Jenna kneeled in hers, still weak from the transition.
"How are you feeling?" Elena asked.
"Her neck was snapped, she woke up in a sacrificial ritual in the middle of the woods, oh and she just transitioned into a vampire. What do you think?" Sage asked.
Rebekah rolled her eyes, "She clearly wasn't thinking. What she expected was for her aunt to move on, and reassure her that she's fine, even though it's her fault that Jenna was even dragged into this mess."
"It wasn't my fault!" Elena protested. "I didn't ask for this!"
"Didn't you?" Katherine asked. "Let's say this one wasn't your fault. The sacrifice may not have been your fault, but people do keep dying because of you. You got involved with the Salvatores, and then dragged your friends into it. Caroline, Bonnie, and even Matt wouldn't be in this world if it wasn't for you. And then, you keep picking fights with the Mikaelson's, where everyone but you, turns into a casualty."
"No I- they didn't!" Elena shook her head.
"My mother." Bonnie suddenly found herself blurting out. "My mother wouldn't have had to turn, if you didn't make that deal with Esther. We wouldn't have been involved, if you didn't go to that ball. Hell, my mother only got dragged back into this life, because of the coffins Stefan stole... for you."
"He didn't steal them for me!" Elena shouted, standing up.
This gained multiple reactions of disbelief from the group, even Stefan himself. Everybody knew, even with his humanity off, the reason Stefan hopped through all those hoops wasn't just revenge on Klaus, but to help Elena.
"I feel like myself..." Jenna said, trying to reassure her niece. :Only not. Everything is brighter. The fire's hotter. Part of me is terrified, but there's another part of me that doesn't want to feel anything."
"Vampires can turn off the part that's human." Elena informed her aunt. "That's the part that hurts."
"I'm gonna die, aren't I?" Jenna asked, her voice cracking as her eyes began to gloss over from unshed tears.
"No! Jenna, I'm not going to let that happen." Elena said, refusing to believe this was happening. "I don't care what I have to do."
In the distance, the sounds of twigs snapping and Jules groaning are heard by the two Gilberts. Jenna's head snaps towards the sound, as her new senses pick it up much more clearly.
"Who's that?" The vampire asks.
"That must be the werewolf." Elena concludes, seeing that was the only element missing from the ritual site.
Just as the doppelganger predicted, Greta came with Jules and pushed the werewolf down onto the ground, ignoring the way the woman clutched her stomach in pain.
"What's happening to me?" Jules asked, panicking.
"I cast a spell to slow down your transformation." The witch answered, uncornered. "Your insides are trying to tear themselves free."
"I had no idea spells like that existed, they clearly go against the natural order." Bonnie said, amazed.
"Well you can't call anything unnatural, because at this point, we have no idea what's truly natural. Witches themselves have been messing with the natural order since the dawn of time." Kol said.
"That makes no sense." Elena protested.
"Doesn't it?" Kol challenged. "Take vampires, we were unnatural when we began, but after a thousand years, we have made our place in this world. Our mother may have created monsters, but vampire's are the one's keeping overpopulation in check, and if our mothers spell had succeeded, then the world would have fallen into chaos. Overpopulation would have just been the beginning. Anyone wants to try and guess what else would have happened."
Katherine hummed, "Well for starters, the monsters the originals kept in check, would take over. And don't even get me started on the witches."
"Exactly. With the will of time, nature accepts everything, integrating yourself is easy, it just takes time. It's when you remove a piece of the puzzle, that the rest of the tower tumbles to the ground." Kol explained.
Caroline's eyes widened as she caught on, "It's the ecosystem we've been learning since we were five."
"Well vampire's a part of it as well, love. Just because you don't learn about us, does not change the fact that we're on the top of the food chain. Take us away, and the rest of the pyramid falls into chaos."
Greta moves away, flicking her wrist, a third ring of fire encircles Jules, trapping her just like the other two sacrifices.
“Greta, witches are supposed to maintain the balance in nature. It's your duty to them to keep this curse sealed.
"Oh yeah, because locking a part of a supernatural being, one that they were born with, is completely natural. It's not like you're trying to change a part of them that they were naturally born with." Klaus said sarcastically.
"My duty is to Klaus!" Greata said confidently. "The new order."
Just then Klaus arrived, pleased to see everything in place. "Glad to know I still have a dance partner." He turned to stare of the vampire, werewolf, and doppelganger, "Hello, my lovelies. Are we ready?"
----------
Matt and Caroline rushed into the Lockwood Mansion, the baby vampire slamming the door behind them and locking them.
"Come on. Get in here!" Caroline calls Matt over, as she leans against the door, finally feeling a sense of relief. Matt opened the curtains to get a look outside, "Do you see anything?" The girl asked.
"We're not safe here." Matt said, glancing out the window, before closing the curtains. "If that thing wants in, it's getting in." He says, opening the chamber of his rifle and reloading it.
"Well he's not wrong." Katherine snarked. "It's not like werewolves need permission before entering. Pretty sure that's us."
"You sure never had a problem entering. Guess that must be thanks to your bitch side." Elena glared at the immortal doppelganger.
Katherine pouted at Elena, "Aww, what's wrong? Jealous nobody ever invites you in?" She asked in a baby voice, "Shame it doesn't seem to stop you from barging in."
"How did you even know what I was?" Caroline asked, still confused on that part. "I compelled you to forget!"
"I was on vervain." Matt revealed. "I faked forgetting so I could spy on you. It was your mom's idea."
Matt walked out of the room, and Caroline, still in shock, followed after him.
"Wait, my mom knows?! Oh my God! You told her. Well, what'd she say?" Caroline asked, scared of what the answer may be.
Matt turned back around to look at Caroline, "Your mom hates vampires. She grew up hating vampires. She'll probably always hate vampires." He said, breaking the news to her.
"Isn't that a familiar feeling." Kol jokes, only to earn a glare from his brother.
The last thing Klaus needed, or wanted was Kol making the situation worse for Caroline. From what he'd seen, Caroline and her mother had gotten over their differences, the women being willing to invite him in to save her daughter's life. But that would do little to ease the hurt Caroline felt then.
But the baby vampire seemed to caught up in the memory of the conversation her and Matt had and all the emotions that rushed back with it, to really pay Kol any attention
"Well, what about you?" Caroline asked.
"What about me?" Matt repeated, trying to avoid the question.
But Caroline wasn't letting him off the hook. "Where does this leave us?"
"Stuck in this house. Trying not to get mauled to death by our friend." Matt said, not answering what she was really asking. He left the room, leaving a visibly distressed Caroline behind.
----------
There was a persistent knocking on the front door of the Salvator House, causing Damon to walk down the stairs, stumbling a bit as he tried to reach the front hall.
"Heard ya." The Salvatour groaned, as the knocking continued. Damon stabilized a bit as he approached the door, but quickly regained his balance. The vampire rolled up his sleeve to see that the werewolf bite had gotten worse.
Klaus smirks, "See, why would I give him the mercy of a quick and painless death, when he can suffer in agony for hours instead."
"That, and you're too stuck up to ever want to use a tainted vampire in your ritual." Kol reminded his brother.
The hybrid looked offended, "I waited-"
"A thousand years. Yes we know Nik. We've heard that over a thousand times-" The youngest original cut her brother off, only to be cut off by Kol.
"-each year-"
"-so yes. We know how you'd never take a risk. Can we go on now?" Rebekah asked.
Damon opened the front door to see John Gilbert standing in front of him. "Great." he groaned, not at all happy to see the other man, "I was just thinking about getting a bite to eat."
"Elena hasn't returned any of my calls for days." John says, getting straight to the point as he walks into the house, "I need to see her."
Damon shuts the front door and turns to look at him. "Well, you're a day late and a daughter short, John."
"What are you talking about?" John asks, not liking what the vampire was trying to say.
"Klaus has her. Sacrifice goes down tonight." Damon answered bluntly.
"How could you let that happen?" The Gilbert demanded. "You were supposed to keep her safe. Wasn't that the sum total of your plan? To keep her safe?"
"She is safe." Damon rolled his eyes, "I fed her my blood."
"You what?!" John asked, worried.
"When Klaus kills Elena in the sacrifice, she will come back to life." Damon said, already explaining what the other man knew was unavoidable. "Granted, as the thing you hate most in the world, but no one really cares what you think."
"Yeah, except for the little fact you're the only one who wanted her to come back as a vampire. Stefan, the Bennett Witch, Gilbert #2, even your precious doppelganger herself doesn't want to be like you." Rebekah said, more than happy to remind Damon of how he'd screwed up in the eyes of multiple people.
Damon then starts to walk into the parlor. John attempts to grab him, trying to stop him; but Damon is faster and spins John around, slamming him against a wall.
"You do not want to mess with me right now." The vampire warned him.
John straightened up, trying to look more intimidating, "You ruined her life. You know that, right?"
"I know, John." Damon idmited. "I took her choice, destroyed her future. Trust me, I get it. It actually gets worse."
"How could it possibly get any worse?" John wonderned, as he watched Damon walk away.
----------
Jules, Elena, and Jenna were still contained in their rings of fire. The werewolf continues to moan in pain. Up on a nearby hill, Klaus retrieves the moonstone from his pocket.
"I've got the moonstone." He told the witch, "I spent 500 years looking for this. I hate to part with it." He said, reminding her not to screw up.
Greta took a look at the sky, "The moon has passed its apex. Remember everything you need to do?"
"I remember." Klaus answered.
Greta dropped the moonstone into a stone bowl filled with flames. Sparks began to fly as the moonstone was destroyed in exchange for the magic. The witch begins chanting a spell in Latin.
Klaus took that as his que to approach the rings of fire. Jules is still on the ground, moaning in pain, but looks up at Elena.
"Everything I did..." The woman groaned out, "I was just trying to help Tyler."
"Are you Jules?" Elena asked.
"I didn't want him to be alone!" Jules shouted as Klaus approached her.
"Shall we?" Klaus asked, looking down at the werewolf.
The ring of fire around Jules disperses. Her eyes turned yellow and she tried to use her werewolf speed to rush at Klaus.
Alas, Klaus was stronger and easily got the upper hand and pinned Jules to the ground, plunging his hand into her chest and ripping out her heart.
Jules took a final breath, her tears streaming down her face as she died.
Klaus breathed heavily as he held the bloody heart in his hand.
The remaining two women took in the sight, horrified.
Klaus couldn't help but think about what Jules had done to Caroline, and knew he should have prolonged the women's death.
Kol smirked, knowing exactly what his brother was thinking, "What? Wishing you'd dragged out her death?"
The hybrid rolled his eyes, "We all know that getting your heart ripped out is one of the quickest deaths. The only one that can beat it is a quick neck snap."
----------
Back in the Old Witch House, Jeremy is looking through a grimoire as Bonnie looks over his shoulder.
"Which one are you reading?" The witch asks.
"Emily Bennett's, there's a section on spells she did for my ancestor, Johnathan Gilbert." Jeremy answers.
"Yeah, I think she had a thing for him." Bonnie remembers.
Jeremy looked up at her, and she smiled at him. "There's something on a resuscitative spell she was working on."
"I saw that, too. She just didn't explain what it did, exactly." She says, already knowing it's a dead end.
"Well, maybe Johnathan wrote about it in his journals. You know, I can have Stefan bring them." Jeremy suggests, just as the basement door creaks open.
Bonnie hears the noise, "Someone's here."
Alaric walks down the stairs and into the basement.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Jeremy asks.
"Elijah and Stefan are upstairs." Alaric says to Bonnie, "You mind if I have a second with Jeremy?"
"They do know their wasting time right. With all this trying to have seperate talks. Why spend 30 minutes repeating something, than another 30 trying to console someone who's gonna go into shock." Sage sighed.
Katherine shrugged, "Not like it's going to do them any good against Klaus."
"I'm alive here aren't I." Elena said, smirking.
"Yeah... and John and to die for that. I wonder... if they found the spell, but discovered that they'd need to kill someone else to save you, and Jeremy's the only human around for miles. What to you think Damon would do?" Katherine challenged.
Elena's smirk fell of her face, and she gulped, trying to find an answer. "H-he wouldn't do that."
"Whatever lets you sleep at night." Katherine smirked, taunting Elena.
"Sure, yeah. Of course." Bonnie says and gets up and leaves the basement.
"What's the matter?" Jeremy asks, getting worried at the look on Alaric's face.
"Jeremy..." Alaric began, not sure what to say, "Something's happened to Jenna."
----------
"Why did he take Jenna?" Bonnie asks, being caught up by the two vampires.
"A punishment for meddling." Elijah answers, knowing his brother.
"Klaus was going to use Tyler and Caroline. But Damon rescued them." Stefan adds.
"Yeah, because I decided to just leave the sacrifices in an easily accessible cellar with a single witch standing guard. Vampire's are easy, but I'm not dumb enough to leave my werewolf laying around." Klaus reminds the group.
"If you already had a vampire, why the hell did you turn Jenna?!" Elena demanded.
"You can thank love sick vampire number 2 for that." Klaus smirks at her.
"Then we need to go. Now. Before Jenna's been sacrificed. I can kill Klaus myself." Bonnie said.
"Bonnie...If you use that much power, you'll be dead." Stefan reminded her. "We've already been through this. It's not an option."
"Neither is letting Jenna die." Bonnie argued.
"Well, Stefan would agree with you." Elijah sighed.
Bonnie looks at them, confused. Stefan walks closer towards Bonnie, "We're going to offer another vampire. One that he'll want more. Me."
----------
Greta continues chanting the spell while Klaus holds Jules's heart over the ceremonial bowl, squeezing the blood into the flames.
"Does that mean it's working?" Klaus asks, watching the flames rise higher.
"It's working." The witch confirmed.
Over in the rings of fire, Elena watches Klaus and Greta in the distance. Jenna looks up at her, eyes glistening with tears.
"The day that the lawyers called to tell me that I was going to become your guardian, you know what my first thought was?" Jenna asks. The doppelganger looks down at her and shakes her head. "Isn't there someone else who can do this?" The strawberry blond reveals.
"Aww, was the poor little doppelganger not wanted for once." Rebekah says in a singsong voice.
"She didn't have to! Yet she did." Elena shouted at Rebekah.
"Yeah, because of guilt, sympathy, and maybe even pity." The original sister said, as if she was talking to a baby.
"Your just upset that somebody actually choose me." The doppelganger growled.
"Yeah, well now she's dead." Katherine reminds her copy.
Elena looked a her, dumbfounded, "How can you say that!"
"Because I can, and it's the truth." Katherine rolled her eyes.
"Jenna, there was no one else who could have gotten me and Jeremy through all of that." Elena says, trying to comfort her aunt.
Jenna shakes her head, "It's just the thought that I almost passed up taking care of you."
"But you didn't." Elena says, kneeling down. "You put your entire life on hold to help us."
"Look around, Elena. I failed you." Jenna says, blaming herself for this mess. If only she's kept a closer eye on her niece, none of this would have happened."
"No. You didn't. I failed you. I'm so sorry." Elena says, trying to reassure her aunt. "Listen. Being a vampire, it intensifies your guilt. But it also makes you stronger and faster. You can fight back. I'm gonna get through this. I'll be okay. I need you to believe that. Promise me, when you get the chance..." Elena places a finger to her lips and whispers the next word, "Run."
Jenna nodded, whispering, "Okay."
"He's a thousand year old vampire, what good did you think whispering would do?" Sage groaned. Not understanding how people can be do dumb. Jenna may have just found out, but Elena should have clearly known better.
----------
Matt peers out another window. "You don't think I killed him, do you?" He asked.
"No. No. It takes a lot more than wooden bullets to kill a werewolf. He's still out there somewhere." Caroline answered, from where she was sitting on the couch in the parlor. "Do you think my mom wants to kill me?"
Klaus glared at the boy on the screen, there was only one correct answer to the question, and if he answered wrong, he'd hunt him down and turn him, just so he could spend centuries torturing him.
"I don't think your mom knows what to do with you." Matt answered.
'Wrong answer.' Thought Klaus. 'He's dead.'
"Yeah, well, I don't really know what to do with me, either." Caroline says, trying to laugh it off, but her voice wavers as the water works threaten to overcome her.
Matt looks at her. Suddenly, Caroline becomes more alert as she hears a noise on the front porch.
"What is it?" He asks, as he begins to slowly creep closer towards the front door.
"Wait." Caroline says, as she hears the wine of the werewolf trying to be let in.
Matt raises his gun, but Caroline stops him, "Don't. Don't shoot."
Caroline rushes up the stairs. She rapidly searches through the bathroom cabinet, until she finds what she was looking for.
She then flashes to the kitchen, and comes back with a packet of raw bacon.
Matt watches, confused as she takes some strips, and hands the nearly empty pack back to him.
He watches, surprised as she opens the bottle of sleeping medication, and dumps several pills into her hand.
Matt stops her, "Woah, do you know what you're doing."
"No." Caroline answers honestly. "But it's better than shooting him."
Matt couldn't argue with that, so he stayed silent as she finished wrapping the pills in the bacon. She then quietly moved towards the window, not wanting to catch the wolf's attention quicker than needed.
She threw the bacon out the window, and quickly slammed it shut as the wolf lunged. His nose hit the clash, putting a crack in it. But luckily, the bacon distracted him from making another attempt.
Caroline bit her lip, watching nervously as the large creature devolvered the meat in a single bite. The pills stayed tightly encased in the meat, and went into him, along with it.
Now, all she could do was wait, and hope the bullets had tired his werewolf healing out enough, that the pills could work their magic.
Everyone in the room stared at the screen amazed.
Klaus was the first to shake off the shock, "You truly are something else, love." He said, completely in awe.
"That was quite the show sunshine." Katherine complimented.
"How'd you even know it would work?" Rebekah asked.
"I didn't." Caroline admitted, not used to the praise. "It was the only other option we had though."
"It's certainly smarter than trying to shoot at a werewolf with wooden bullets that would do nothing to him." Sage nodded, impressed. The baby vampire had definitely proved that she could think on her feet.
----------
Stefan was standing outside the Old Witch house, when Elijah approached him.
"Bonnie did the locator spell." The original informed him, "They're at Steven's Quarry."
"I'll head over there first and you'll follow with Bonnie when it's time." Stefan said, knowing what he'd have to do.
"Just as the moon hits its final phase." Elijah reminded him. "She's to stay hidden until then. He cannot know that she's alive."
Stefan nods and begins to walk away.
"You're very honorable." Elijah said from behind him.
Stefan turns back around, looks at Elijah, and walks back towards him. "Are you?" He asks, "Because this whole plan is, um, it's contingent upon your honor, Elijah."
Elijah paused, wondering if Stefan had realized his true intentions. But a glance into the younger vampire's eyes revealed that it was just paranoia. "I won't fail you."
"Klaus is your brother. I know I've wanted to kill my brother a thousand times. I've never been able to." Stefan said, speaking from personal experience.
Elijah paused, thinking of the best response to deal with Stefan's worries. "Well, Klaus was not my only brother. I had siblings; parents. I had a family. Over the centuries, Klaus hunted them down one by one and he took them from me. He scattered them across the seas where their bodies could not be found."
Kol rolled his eyes, "Really Elijah. You should know by now, with the right spell, you could have easily brought us back."
"Yes well spells like that, especially for three whole people, would take time. Time that Niklaus would spend getting to know the feeling of being put to rest, without his consent." Elijah replied.
Klaus glared at his brother, "I think it's time to sharpen those daggers."
Kol rolled his eyes, "You need a new threat Nik."
"Plus, with us in here, time won't move out their like Shelia so kindly explained. So go ahead, dagger me. I won't be missing out on anymore fashion weeks." Rebekah smiled. The cost of those daggers, was the time, and as long as they were in the witches spell buble, that cost would become null and void.
"You want revenge." Stefan realized.
"Sometimes there's honor in revenge, Stefan." Elijah admitted. He wouldn't kill his brother, but certainly was revenge. "I won't fail you."
"Please end this." Stefan pleaded one last time before leaving.
----------
In the house, John walks down into the basement, holding a cardboard box. Jeremy and Bonnie approach him as he puts the box down on a table.
"I brought the Gilbert journals. I think I know the spell you're talking about." He told the two.
"Where's Damon?" The witch asked.
"Upstairs. Alaric wanted to talk to him." The older man answered as they took the journals out of the box and began to flip through them.
----------
Upstairs Alaric has just explained to Damon that Stefan is willing to sacrifice himself.
"He did what?!" The older Salvatore shouted.
"He wasn't going to let Jenna die." Alaric reasoned. He didn't want Stefan to die, but he wanted Jenna alive more.
Damon grew frustrated at Alaric's response, "We have a witch. She kills Klaus. No one has to die!"
"But then Bonnie would die." Caroline said, frowning.
Rebekah rolled her eyes, "What do you expect? Salvatore elder, clearly doesn't care about anyone but his previous doppelganger."
"Except for Bonnie." Alaric reminded Damon.
"God, Stefan, damn it!" Damon cursed, punching a wall. Which resulted in his whole arm going into the wall.
Alaric watched his friend pull his arm out, "Hey, are you okay?"
"I'm fine." The vampire answered, beginning to calm down. "Well, that's my brother for you. Always cleaning up my messes." Damon exited the house as he said the last sentence. Alaric watched him leave, worried about what he'd do next.
----------
"Hello, Jenna." Klaus said, approaching the ring of fire containing the women.
Jenna and Elena stood up to look at Klaus.
"Let her go." Elena begged, "I understand that I have to die, but she doesn't!" Elena walked closer to the flames, causing them to flare up and forcing her retreat.
"Careful." Klaus wanted. The last thing he needed was the most important element for the sacrifice burning to death before he could kill her.
"Elena, don't." Jenna protested, trying to reason with the girl.
"No, Jenna! We can't leave Jeremy without a family." Elena reminded her aunt, before turning to Klaus, "I followed your rules; I did everything that you asked. I didn't run. Please."
"No. You just involved my brother, had a witch as backup, oh, and refused to real in your boyfriends." Klaus reminded the group.
"I couldn't control their actions!" Elena protested.
"Really?" Kol asked, raising an eyebrow. Everybody knew that Elena could make the brothers listen to her, but she just refused.
Caroline couldn't help but think, underneath the matyar and golden girl persona Elena always wore, she loved the idea of everybody wanting her. Fighting for her. Willing to do anything for her. So she never tried to stop it, because she didn't want it to stop.
Klaus was about to answer, before something on the top of the quarry caught his attention. "Well, well. I don't recall you being on the guest list." He spoke to the new vampire.
Jenna and Elena look up as well, the doppelganger letting out a gasp when she sees who it was. Stefan was standing atop of the cliff, ready to make the trade. His life, for Jenna's.
"I'm here to talk." Stefan said, as if he had any power on the night's events.
Klaus glanced at Jenna, having an idea of what Stefan came for. "Very well, then." He agreed, flashing to the top of the cliff. Once he was on the edge, he walked calmy towards Stefan with his lips curved into a small smirk. "What can I do for you, Mr. Salvatore?"
----------
"We found something in the Gilbert journals." Bonnie revealed to Damon.
"Johnathan journaled the story of a mother who called on Emily's services." John began explaining. "The woman's baby was sick; dying. Emily cast a spell that would bind the woman's life force with her child."
"Skip to the save Elena part." Damon, having no patience for what the man was saying.
"Honestly, you really need to get a hobby. One that isn't obsessing over YOUR brother's girlfriend." Rebekah glared at the older Salvatore.
"Funny how he can't seem to stop history from repeating itself, when all it would take is to find a girl that doesn't look like me." Katherine added. "I know I'm unforgettable, but we all know Elena could never compare. So instead of drinking cheap, knock-off wine, just switch brands."
"Well, the child died, but the mother's life force flowed through her, restoring her to life." John explained.
"We already know Elena's going to come back to life." Jeremy brought up, not seeing the solution here. "But she'll be a vampire."
"Not if her soul remains intact." John answered.
"Please, don't you start Finn." Kol said, before his older brother could open his mouth. "Vampire's have souls, it's a proven fact. How else do you think the other side works. Plus, if you argued you didn't have a soul, wouldn't you basically be saying your precious Sage doesn't have one either."
Finn opened his mouth, but shut it when he got a look from Sage, unable to argue with that.
Damon was still skeptical, "Her soul, really? You're going to put your faith in some act of god mumbo jumbo?"
John walks forward, closing the gap between Damon and himself. "I refuse to let Elena become the thing I've spent my life protecting her against. And you can call that God or mystical energy, whatever you want, but yes...I'm putting my faith in it." He said, before turning around and walking back towards Bonnie.
Stefan and Klaus were conversing on the cliff top, well Elena and Jenna looked up at them, trying to figure out what's happening.
"What's going on?" Jenna asked, confused.
"I-I don't know." Elena confesses, turning around to look at Jenna, "You can hear them." When Jenna looks at her, she adds, "You can hear anything. Jus-Just focus on them."
The new born vampire turned her attention to the two men on the cliff.
"You don't need to kill Jenna. I'll take her place." Stefan offered Klaus.
"Oh, I don't know. I rather appreciate the symmetry of three women," Klaus says as he starts to walk around Stefan, "Three goddesses, Sacrificed at nature's altar."
"What are they saying?" Elena whispers to Jenna.
"I can't-I can't make it out." Jenna admits, trying to focus.
"Her senses must still have been weak." Elena said knowingly, "It wasn't her fault."
Caroline shook her head, "The exact opposite actually." At Elena's confused look, the blond explained, "When you transition, the first thing that hits you are all the senses. You can hear everything, see every detail to the point it hurts your eyes. What Jenna is experiencing is overwhelming her, and her brain, that literally just came back from death, is struggling to keep up.
"You can do this. Just relax. Focus." Elena burgers, needing to know what was going on.
Stefan turned around to face Klaus, "Don't play games with me. You'll get what you want either way."
"I can hear him. I hear Stefan." Jenna says, getting excited.
"What are they saying?" Elena asks.
"You're quite the hero, aren't you? I've heard that about you." Klaus says, looking at the man who was a complete 180 from the man he met in the 20s.
"Just make the trade." Stefan urges him, "Me for Jenna."
"Oh, my god." Jenna gasps.
Elena looks worried, "What is it?"
"He wants to take my place."
Elena stares at her aunt, horrified, before looking up at Stefan.
----------
Matt is sitting in the parlor, staring blankly at the fire. Caroline stares out the window.
"How's Tyler doing?" Matt asked.
"Sleeping." Caroline answers, "He should be back to normal by morning."
"Good." Matt nods, before pausing briefly, overwhelmed by the night's events. "So this is your life now, huh?"
Caroline smiles at him, "Never a dull moment." She jokes.
Matt stands up and walks towards Caroline. "You know, these last few days with you have been so great, and fun."
Klaus glared at the screen, 'Don't you dare...' He thought.
Caroline smiles and walks over towards him, placing her hands on his chest.
'... don't you dare hurt her.' The hybrid continued to glare.
"And so Caroline. I-I thought that I might be able to get past this whole vampire thing." The human told her.
"And he's dead. Call the time." Kol said, as a doctor would.
"What?" Elena asked, confused.
"Klaus is definitely going to kill him after this." Katherine yawned, bored.
"He can't." Elena protested.
"He can." Rebekah rolled her eyes, "Honestly, what is it with you and your ex's."
"No!" Elena shouted.
"Oh, I will." Klaus growled, already planning on ways to end the boy's human life, followed by the vampire one the human will come to see as a curse.
"Klaus no." Caroline said firmly. Not two words many could claim to have said and survived. "You can't go around killing every guy I've broken up with."
"Can't I?" Klaus said, more than ready to accept that challenge.
The baby vampire's eyes narrowed at him, "You can't."
"But you can. Matt..." Caroline pleaded.
"I don't-" The human stuttered, "I don't know if I can, Caroline." Matt walks past Caroline, unable to say anything else.
Caroline turns around with a look of desperation plastered on her face, "Matt!"
The boy turns around and looks at her, "I get it. This is your life now. You know what my life is, Care? My life is an absentee mom. And a bunch of bills to pay, and school, and a job, and it - and it sucks sometimes. But it's my life. And...I think that I just want to live it without all of this."
Caroline looks at him, sadly, but nods her head, understanding what he wants.
----------
Down in the basement of the Old Witch House, Bonnie has her hands placed on either side of John's head and is chanting a spell.
Jeremy and Damon stand by, watching.
Damon, becoming impatient, snaps his fingers. "Come on, Bonnie, we got a hybrid to kill."
Bonnie, fed up after watching how Damon had spoke to her, in front of, and behind her back, said to him what she couldn't that say because she was casting a spell, and because she never had the courage to, "If your in such a rush, why didn't you go kill the hybrid. Oh right, you couldn't."
Damon stared at the witch, open mouth, trying to find something to say back, but couldn't.
Sheila and Caroline smiled, proud that the witch was talking back. Better late than never.
Elena opened her mouth to say something, but before she could, Kol sneaky snapped her neck, minimizing the sound with his other hand.
Jeremy looks back at Damon, signaling with his hand for Damon to be tolerant of the situation.
Not long after that, Bonnie opens her eyes. "It's done."
"That's it? Let's go." Damon says as he walks out of the room.
John opens his eyes as Bonnie walks past him. Bonnie turns to Jeremy and gently touches his arm.
"I'll be back soon." The witch says.
Jeremy reaches out to her, "Wait, what do you mean? No, I'm coming. I need to be there. I need to make sure you guys are okay."
"And who's going to make sure you're okay?" Bonnie asks.
"I've got my own ring." Jeremy says, flashing her his ring, "Look, I'm not taking no for an answer."
Bonnie kisses Jeremy goodbye. She pulls away and Jeremy smiles at her. Suddenly, Jeremy looks at her, confused, and starts to fall to the floor. John grabs him and leads him back to a chair.
"Easy, easy." He says, before turning to Bonnie. "Just go. I'll stay with him."
Bonnie looks at Jeremy one last time before exiting the basement with Damon.
----------
Elena gasped awake, causing everybody to turn to her surprised. Caroline and Bonnie blinked in shock, they had no idea somebody had killed her.
Katherine, Rebekah, and Kol laughed openly, well Sage and Klaus had a smirk on their face.
Stefan and Damon rushed to her side, but she pushed them away, angry that nobody even noticed what had happened to her! That's not fair.
"Who the hell killed me?" The human doppelganger demanded.
"I did." Kol said, raising his hand proudly. When Elena glared at him, he laughed, "What are you going to do, sick your dogs on me. Ohh no, I'm so scared. Nik, Elijah, help me."
Stefan, who was ready to defend Elena, deflated at the reminder that even if they did somehow manage to snap Kol's neck as revenge, Elijah and Klaus would be right there to rip out their hearts.
Upstairs, Alaric and Elijah wait until they hear Damon and Bonnie walk up the stairs.
"It's time." Elijah nods.
Damon and Bonnie exit the house without glancing at Alaric or Elijah. Elijah and Alaric follow them.
"All right. I got the weapons in the car." The hunter said.
"Bonnie's the only weapon we need." Elijah informed him.
Elijah walks out the doorway. Alaric follows behind him but when he tries to exit the house, he finds that an invisible barrier is blocking him in.
"Bonnie! What is this?" Alaric demands.
Bonnie stops and looks back at him. "I can't put anyone else at risk."
"I can't stay here with Jenna out there!" Alaric shouted at her.
"I'm sorry." Bonnie apologized.
But that wasn't the response he was looking for, so Alaric turned to Damon, "You can't do this! Damon?"
"Sorry, buddy. She's right." Damon said as he, Bonnie and Elijah started to walk away.
"No! You can't do this. Bonnie! Bonnie!" The human says, angrily hitting the doorframe.
----------
"Elena..." Jenna said.
Elena shook her head, "I have to do something. This can't happen. None of it."
"He is trying to give you a way to save your aunt. Your family. And you are choosing to risk it." Finn asked, confused. He may have tried to kill his siblings, but at the end of the day, he believed he was trying to save their souls. But here she was, willing to sacrifice her aunt so her suitor could live. "If a woman did this in our time, she'd be publicly humiliated and beaten. Then tied to a tree and left to starve to restore the family's honor."
Kol looked thoughtful, "He isn't wrong. Didn't that happen to Gertrud."
Rebekah wrinkled her nose, "Harsh, but it was effective. Nobody ever heard a peep about leaving from Gertrud's little sister Gro."
Klaus and Stefan came down from the cliff top and approached Elena and Jenna.
"Quite the predicament." Klaus chukled, "You know, it's funny, all this talk about preserving family, and here's Stefan, granting your wish."
Elena stared sadly at her boyfriend, "Stefan..."
"It's okay." Stefan tried to reassure her.
"Well." Klaus says, as he points a stake between Jenna and Stefan, "Who's it going to be, Elena?"
"No." Elena answers.
"Oh, don't worry." Klaus says, as if he's reassuring her in the same way Stefan did, "There's actually no choice." Klaus flashes around Stefan and stakes him in the back. Stefan screams in pain and crumbles to the ground.
"No! Stefan! No!" The human doppelganger cries.
Klaus rips the stake out of Stefan's back, leaving a sizable chunk of wood in his back. "I have other plans for your boyfriend. I want him alive. But for now..." Klaus snaps Stefan's neck causing Stefan to fall, disgracefully, to the ground. Leaving Elena gasping in shock.
Klaus turns to the witch, "Whenever you're ready, Greta."
Greta begins chanting the next part of the spell which dispels the ring of fire surrounding Jenna. Jenna looks on, frightened. Elena, teary-eyed, watches on.
"No." Elena says weakly.
"Your turn." Klaus says, approaching Jenna.
"No, Jenna, no!" Elena begins to cry harder and reach her aunt as the reality of what is happening begins to set in.
Jenna looks over at her. "It's alright, Elena. I know what I have to do."
After a moment of shared silence between Jenna and Elena, Jenna vamp speeds to Greta and ferociously bites her neck. Greta lets out a scream, but Klaus flashes over to Jenna and stakes her in the back, pulling her off of Greta, who has fallen to the floor. Jenna gasps and Klaus releases her. Jenna falls to the ground.
Elena starts to cry even harder. "Jenna, no!" Jenna looks up at Elena, tears in her eyes. "Just turn it off. Jenna. Turn it off. You won't be scared anymore." She begs her aunt.
Klaus flips Jenna over onto her back and hunches over her. Jenna seems less frightened when Klaus stakes her in the heart.
"No! Jenna! No! Jenna." Elena begins brawling now. Jenna's body starts to become grey and decayed.
Klaus releases the stake from his grap and stands up. Leaving Jenna's body lying lifeless on the stone with the stake through her heart.
"Jenna was a good woman. She didn't deserve to be punished for Damon's actions." Caroline said, tears dripping down her cheeks.
Klaus felt a pit in his stomach. He hated seeing Caroline upset. "There is a way to bring her back, you just need to know the right covens." He offered, trying to cheer her up.
"Is it possible?" Bonnie asked, surprised. She's brought Jeremy back, but he'd only been gone for seconds, not months.
"If you know the right witches." Klaus answered.
"Really?" Caroline asks, almost believing it to be too good to be true.
"Man, you are whipped." Kol laughed.
"Shut it, kol." Rebekah growled. "Way to ruin a good moment."
"Since when do you root for them? I know I have, but I thought you hated her." Kol chukled.
Rebekah gasped, "I still don't like her, but she makes him bearable. Plus, the more time he spends chasing her, the less he'll spend hounding me."
"You guys know I'm right here." Caroline asked, wiping her tears.
"Yes, I know. Now let the grownups talk." Rebekah said.
"What-"
Klaus smiled at their exchange before he noticed how the doppelganger had stayed surprisingly silent.
There was an odd look in her eyes. Klaus couldn't pinpoint it, all he knew was that he didn't like it. Not one bit.
Bonnie, who had glanced at Elena, instantly recognized it.
Those glossy doe-eyed orbs, that masked a much sharper look.
It was the look Elena got when she wanted something, and she didn't care who paid the price, as long as she got it.
She had that look in third grade, when she wanted an extra snack even if it meant somebody else would stay hungry till lunch.
She had that look when she wanted to go to the moviewa, but didn't have the money to pay and the money would come from someone else's pocket.
She had that very same look when she begged Bonnie to save Stefan, even if she knew that Bonnie was exhausted and wouldn't be able to, and Grams ended up paying the price.
Now, she was looking at Caroline with the very same look.
----------
Well showing the past, I likely won't be able to sneak in as many Klaroline scenes into the 'watching' part (I say that as I have two huge special Klaroline scenes coming up in the next two chapters planned out), so I guess I'll just focus on the bashing. Good thing though, I can fill the breaks with as much Klaroline as I want. So you guys will just have to get your fill of the Klaroline, from the inbetween scenes of them reacting - until I start writing the future that is, then it's Klaroline all the way.
Also, one part of the episode really didn't make sense to me, so I decided to change it. Did anyone catch it? Here's a hint: Shouldn't werewolves be turned the whole night?
Also, Ms_Fiction_Reader from Ao3 commented that Finn would be the most still believing in the old ways, he was from a time of vikings, and was asleep for 900 years, so he wouldn't be... as toned down by civilization as the rest of his siblings, and they were right. So I am taking their advice.
Who, Watching Has Died The Most: Damon's still in the lead with 3 deaths, but Elena's on his heels with 2. So my money is still on Damon winning this game.
Anyways,
KLAROLINE FOR LIFE BECAUSE I WILL GO DOWN WITH THIS SHIP!

AN: Hi everyone so, I started writing. I technically have everything planned out on what I want to happen and the general storyline but I just haven't written it all out. 😅 This is the prologue for the story, I'm gonna try updating at least once a week. I don't anticipate this being a super long series. Just can't see myself doing that as I don't feel like I have that in me. Anyways I apologize ahead of the time for any grammar mistakes, I'm my own proofreader and you know how that goes. Also, I can not guarantee that any ACOTAR characters/timeline will be accurately portrayed. So please do get mad at me for miss representing something/someone. My only priority is to my OC’s main character storyline. And that means I will have collateral damage to other characters you may love. So apologies in advance. PS. I haven't named the OC so drop your recs in the comments. I may just pick one. All ACOTAR characters belong to Sarah J Maas. No plagiarising or stealing of my work please don't be that person. Okay finally on to the story, congrats if you got this far.
Prologue: Warmth
A common misconception about my inability to stay dead is that I must not fear death. That because I do not truly die, I have nothing to fear. I wish that I did not fear death, that it felt like a warm embrace, a feeling of knowing. But it is not, every time it is as bitter and crushing as it always is. And I fear each death the same as the first.
——————————————————————
Some would call me stupid, and naive for trading my life for my brothers. While he would have had a quick death, mine was prolonged by my gift of immortality. I became Amaranatha’s favorite source of entertainment. When your prisoner can't die, you don't have to worry about having restraint. You would think killing someone day after day would get boring. It didn't, not for her. Perhaps I was foolish, trying to protect Kallias.
These are the thoughts that creep into my head while I lay in my cell. My breath fogs in front of my face, my lips coated in frost. I would say I was cold but I've long forgotten what being warm felt like. I can't blame that on Amarantha or my cell. I've been cold since my magic surfaced. Though that's a time I wouldn't like to reflect on at the moment. My cell gives a dreary enough mood without trudging up those memories.
My fingers begin to tingle, I turn so the cold damp stone bites into my back now instead of my side. The clink of my chain is obtrusive to the quiet of my cell. I wiggle my fingers in the minimal space my chained gauntlets allow. They're cold and enchanted against my magic, it's not fun to torture someone when a brush of their hand can leave you as an ice sculpture.
My breath catches in a quiet laugh of the Attor that got the pleasure of being the first victim that resulted in my fancy jewelry. I bet he makes quite the excellent piece of decor now.
That small joy is caught short when I hear the steps approaching. my eyes snapping to the cell door, short and fast. Not the Autumn brothers then, they are hard and slow. Like their minds. I take a deep breath preparing for what’s to come. Focusing on the gold string that stretches out from my chained hand, the string that is tied around my ring finger underneath all the metal. The one that pulls taught when he’s close but for now lays loose. And so I stare at something that only I can see because it is the only thing that soothes the fear that grows inside me for the death I’m about to face.
The death that comes over
And over
And over
And over
And over.

KARMALAND LIVEBLOG (from earlier today because I was at work)
I’m sure absolutely nothing will go wrong and I’m sure Luzu and Quackity will have a nice conversation and everything will be ok! :’) [lying to myself]
Can’t believe I typed this all up at work.
AAAAAA IM AT WORK RN BUT IM STILL LISTENING its snowing so much and I’m the ONLY person who came to the office today so frick it, I'm listening and working.
Alex Quackity please share the name of the music you use for your intros ITS SO GOOD
Aww cute art on the Karmaland page
Ah yes. The daughter he "kidnapped"
Their first meeting since the elections… I'm hoping they can somehow reconcile but, because of the way the story is going, I don't think they can. Not right now
Worse case scenario, Luzu finds out Quackity was responsible for his daughter's death and kills Beni and/or Cochi, thus making it impossible for him and Quackity to ever repair the bond they once shared
Luzu: Maybe we can talk. Maybe Quackity will listen, and he'll be able to see I'm no monster :(((( Luzu…. King you've done some Real Fricked Up stuff recently but I still love you
Luzu: This will be the moment everything changes IT SURE FRICKIN WILL BE
Something about Luzu talking about Karmaland blooming is so….hmm. I'll revisit that line at a later time
Tumblr media
U know it's bad when frickin Rubegetta Updates tweets this, BRUH 😭
Pft Luzu's men coming to pick up Quackity, SURELY THERE'S A BETTER WAY TO DO THIS BOYS
Oh man Luzu got a message from Quackity asking him to reflect on everything he's done before they speak. It sounds like they're both willing to talk, but their different ideals and views of what's "just" will ultimately make it impossible for them to end up on the same page
:(
Quackity: Luzu has several options today, and the peaceful option is not among them.
Chat: kiss Luzu Quackity: No, it's too late for that. Look at all the memories we made here together, but, well… it is what it is o(-(
Tumblr media
WHY IS THIS SO FUNNY
Uh oh did Luzu's assistant just snitch. Does Luzu know the truth about his daughter
Dono: I just wanted to say these lore streams have me go to the psycologist :'( Quackity: No way, it's not that bad. If I told a psychologist minecraft pixel cubes were making me cry, they’d probably charge me triple because of it PFTTTT
Oh man Luzu found out about Juan yikes
Luzu: Oh no…what will I tell his wife? Can't believe Juan was the only straight man in Karmaland /j
Luzu's so deeply in character meanwhile Quackity is like “HURRY THE FRICK UP OLD MAN”
Luzu: I made a mistake trying to pressure him. Every time I try to make him talk to me, it's like I'm pushing his crazyness further. He never reacts the way I want to, I don't know what to do. Maybe everything is truly lost and there's nothing to do. YES GOOD. CONTINUE THAT
agh but what if Luzu apologizes and then Quackity has to admit he doesn't have the kids and that's the final breaking point for Luzu's sanity
Luzu: This isn't the time to step back or say sorry. It's time to move forward. I'm not weak. I'm able to do what's needed. I'm ready to. NOOOO
Luzu: No time for nerves. If he touches my kids, I'll kill him And if you touch his cousins, he'll kill you
Agh this is so sad because they were THEIR kids
Luzu: He thinks he can do whatever with no consequences. He thinks I won't retaliate because he's Quackity. He thinks I won't use the power I have. We'll see how further you'll push me, we'll see. FRICK!!!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE POWER OF LOVE
Wait Quackity only has 5 minutes left on Karmaland? Is he gonna get yeeted in the middle of lore?? LMFAO
Oh no. They're together.
Quackity: This wouldn't have happened if you hadn't arranged the elections. He’s absolutely right!
Quackity: You never took the time to talk to me, you don’t know the true me. The truth is, I am a very vengeful person. OHHHHH SNAP HERE IT COMES
Luzu: No no, this wouldn't have happened if you had talk to me from the very start. AghhhhHHH
FRICK
NOO DONT PULL GUNS OUT
Did they just frickin shoot at each other??? oh my gosh
this is so tense but the fanart is gonna be frickin sick I just know it
Agh they threw Quackity a photo of Cochi and Beni noooo
Luzu: Realease my kids and I will release your cousins, but the way things are going, only one of us is getting out of this alive. There won’t be a happy ending. Quackity: You think I don't know that?
Tumblr media
EVEN THEY KNOW…CHARACTERS WHO KNOW THEY’RE DOOMED BY THE NARRATIVE… IM IN FRICKIN AGONY
Quackity: Your problem is you don't know me. I'm vengeful, and those who wrong me I’ll repay tenfold. Oh man I don’t know if it was intentional, but that’s a total callback to Techno’s quote. Man... I like to think in some universe, c!Quackity and c!Techno were able to make amends. But even so, that’s a sick line, I want to draw something for that.
Luzu: Quackity, you think you’re fighting an equal, but in actuality, you’re fighting the biggest mountain you'll ever encounter Quackity: *snorts* They’re both such bastard
I've thought it before but “Who Wants To Live Forever?” by Queen really is the perfect song for Karmaland
He's only giving Quackity 5 minutes what the FRICK is Quackity gonna do
Luzu: He forced my hand. If he did something to my kids... talking ends here. No more dialogue. Now's the waiting game.
LMFAO QUACKITY DIED
LUZU'S ROASTING HIM IN CHARACTER FOR IT
Quackity said he'd leave the kids at Sapo Peta's house nooooo
Quackity: I want to see blood
Beanieduo updates tweeting "well at least they haven't killed each other yet" PFTTT
Oh my gosh Luzu actually released his cousins
Oh frick is Quackity threatening Luzu by saying he can only get one kid back QUACKITY… NOT A GOOD TIME
Luzu: you talk too much. F**k off and talk to someone over discord, zorra WTF LUZU That caught me so off-guard I gasped at it
Quackity: Watch how you talk to me. YEAH YOU TELL HIM QUACKITY!!!!
I genuinely thought someone was gonna shoot one of the cousins while they were on the bridge
AWH…COCHI'S CRYING
I imagine Cochi's the type of guy who tries to act so tough but the moment he's out of danger he's in tears. Big mood. Eldest sibling vibe
Quackity: Sooner or later, Luzu will realize his kids are never coming back. I need you both to be safe because I might not make it out alive. Put on the hat, and take your guns. Tomorrow there is a sport event, if you don't see me go talk to Rubius and Alex and make outrage and kill him if I can't today. Now go, into the tunnels... I love you both. Oh I am INSTANTLY in tears. Both as a Quackity fan and as someone who’s ride or die for my cousins, this hit close to home
Beni hesitating to leave :(((((
Luzu knows somethings up oh noooo
HE KNOWSSSS
THEYRE GONNA HURT EACH OTHER NO!!!!!
Luzu:  I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS. I- I MADE A HUGE ATTEMPT TO TRY AND FIX THINGS WITH YOU, BUT THAT'S HOW YOU WANT IT? GOOD, LET'S HAVE IT. Gosh I can’t wait to watch Luzu’s POV of this, I only saw the updates about his perspective but I saw the screenshots and they are SCARY
Quackity: THEN LET'S HAVE IT, GO ON WITH THE BEST YOU CAN, PENDEJO
Karmaland Updates: Tomorrow is the Karmaland Olympics! :D NOWS NOT THE TIME KARMALAND UPDATES
AAAA QUACKITY NO
Is Quackity going to die??? He's alone and Luzu has his men with him D:
And Quackity told his cousins to tell Alexby and Rubius to launch an attack on Luzu tomorrow AND he told them he loved them IS HE REALLY GONNA DIE???
oh man did he actually get away?
Quackity: Either kill yourself or I'll do it for you
THAT STUPID MOB SCARED ME WHAT WAS THAT
Luzu: The next time we see each other will be the last time And he's probably right… :(
QUACKITY A HOUSE IS A SMALL PRICE TO PAY IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS
Oh I forgot Rubius gave him that horn, can he call him for help, or at least let Rubius will know he's in danger??
Quackity: This was given to me by Rubius. If I use it, he'll know I'm in danger 😭😭😭
I love the mutual respect and friendship they've developed, I love Luzu but I also wanna see Rubius go feral protecting someone he cares about because they got hurt. Big brother bear vibes. It's just a shame he WONT FRICKIN DO IT FOR VEGETTA
OH FRICK THATS RIGHT IN THE UPSIDE DOWN QUACKITY SAW HIS HOUSE WAS DESTROYED was that a vision of the future????
HE JUST ENDED THERE AAAAA
That was so good but STRESSFUL
Wait Luzu is still going
Luzu: My daughter is dead because of me At least he recognizes that it's his fault they're in this situation, though tbf it IS Quackity's fault in this instance
OK but WILL VEGETTA SUPPORT LUZU??? Is anyone gonna support Luzu, or is he alone?
Luzu: Any revolutionary in the village will have their heads hung up
😰
FOR KARMALAND!!!!
Luzu's always underestimated Quackity, but Quackity just crossed a line and now Luzu will never see him the same way. Man. MANNNNNNNNN. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE POWER OF LOVE HUH
Tumblr media
AGH!!!!!!!!!
Oh gosh I just saw the update from Maxo’s (Sapo Peta’s) stream -- he still wants to shove Quackity and Luzu in a box so they can talk things out. SAPO PETA IF YOU DO THAT, THAT HORRIFYINGLY GRIM COMIC THAT PERSON SHARED YESTERDAY WILL COME TRUE
SERIOUSLY, MY MAN MISSED HIS OPPORTUNITY TO DO THAT LIKE, WEEKS AGO
Imagine poor Sapo Peta and Illojuan still trying to do the beach bar date idea. Lord
WELP. That was an intense stream, can’t wait to see what the Karmaland Olympics are and how Rubius / Alexby will react to today’s news. I’m also curious to see whether Vegetta will continue to stand by Luzu, or if Rubius will somehow convince him to, at the very least, stay away for his own safety.
In conclusion:
Tumblr media
Luzu and Quackity I’ll be sending you my therapy bill

Love Is Not Destruction
because valentine’s life lessons are as shitty as everything else about him and we all know that boat scene wasn’t in the show because there was no way to pass it off as straight
tw: blood and death
if you like this please reblog, you don’t have to comment but reblogging helps others enjoy my writing like you did!
@rainbow-frog-earrings
Jace knew the body slumped against the wall was Simon. From the second he saw the bloodstained boy, she knew it. His breath caught in his throat and she felt sick. She tried to convince themself that it’s not him. That it can’t be him because Simon isn’t dead, not in the way that they sit now.
His heart may not beat but Simon is alive. So very alive in a way Jace has never been. They have to be. But his throat is slit and blood covers the front of that stupid Queen shirt they love so much. She takes a step forward, the blood sticking to the bottom of their shoes. It’s coppery smell burns in her lungs. Simon’s blood.
They know what their father taught him. Burn them, put them in the sun, stake them, drain the blood from them. Whichever way you chose, you’ve killed a vampire. Valentine knew what he was doing. And god, he did it well.
His knees weaken and their hands start to shake. They hold their eyes open as tears start to collect on his bottom eyelashes. She will not cry. He cannot. Valentine wouldn’t allow it.
Simon’s eyes open, just barely and only the whites show. Jace rushes forward, stumbling to the floor in front of Simon. His eyes close.
“It’s okay, Si. You’re okay,” he whispers. She holds his wrist up to Simon’s mouth. Simon doesn’t move. “Drink idiot. Come on Si, please.” His eyes open slightly. He bites into Jace’s wrist.
He can feel the blood leaving her veins as Simon drinks from them. Their eyes open, and his wounds start to heal, fading into a thick jagged scar. Jace can finally feel themself breath again. But Simon is not themself yet, their eyes aren’t his. He lets go of Jace’s wrist.
He leans for Jace’s neck. She knows they could push Simon away, but he just wants Simon to be okay again. This will make him okay. He lets Simon bite his neck. Jace is pushed onto the floor of the boat. Blood staining Jace’s shirt. Simon holds Jace’s shoulders tightly. His neck hurts in the most wonderful way.
She pulls Simon closer. Lets herself lose themself in the feeling of saving Simon. Of finally letting him know he cares. Then he pushes Simon back to when he was. Valentine wouldn’t allow this. Simon is himself again, and he is terrified. Simon pushes himself off Jace, sitting on their hips with Jace’s blood on his lips. They stare at their hands which shake violently. He looks to Jace.
“I could’ve killed you.” Simon is about to cry. Jace sits up on his elbows, and doesn’t know what to say beside the truth.
“I would’ve let you.” And with the horrified look on Simon’s face, he wants to cry. She tries to hold them back and fails. Simon reaches to wipe them away. Jace wipes away Simon’s. “I had to, Si. I couldn’t let you die.”
“What about you, Jace? Am I supposed to just be the one to kill you?” Simon takes in a shuddering breath. Jace shakes his head.
“I’m sorry, Simon. I just…I need you to be alive again. I’m sorry.”
“Me too, J.”
Simon gets off Jace. She just hugs Simon tightly, and Simon melts into it. Valentine wouldn’t allow this.
Jace tighten their grip on Simon, who’s started to cry and bury their face in Jace’s shoulder. Fuck what Valentine would allow, he’d give up anything to keep Simon safe. To keep Maia or Alec or Izzy or Clary or Luke safe. This is love, not destruction.
“I love you, Si,” he whispers. Simon mutters something, and Jace doesn’t need to hear the words to know what they are.

This isn’t goodbye, this is simply see you later
Pairing: JJ Maybank x reader
Summary: JJ needs to leave the island in order to protect his best friend, charged with the murder of Sheriff Peterkin. You get your heart broken being left behind.
Warnings: angst, cursing
Based on the song See you later (Ten years) by Jenna Raine
“Please don’t leave.” You whispered softly.
Your face was strained with tears, a never ending flow cascading from your eyes that were desperately searching for JJ’s. But his eyes were not on you. He was looking at anywhere but you, a strained expression painfully painted on his beautiful face.
“Please, J.” You begged quietly, feeling pain swim in your chest and constrict your lungs.
It was getting harder to breathe, you couldn’t really understand what was going on.
For the past month, you had briefly seen you boyfriend. Him and his friends had been busy with a treasure hunt; they had been searching for the Royal Merchant ever since stumbling upon a sunken boat, everything had escalated quickly in a chase for the gold between armed killers and investigating police. You were scared for JJ, you truly were, but on those nights he had made some time for you and he had told you all about his adventures with sparkling eyes, lit with excitement and hope you couldn’t help yourself but feel so incredibly happy for him. You knew about his home life and seeing him so thrilled about something was really touching to you. You had listened to him, looking up at him with nothing but adoration. You had always waited for him, supporting him and never once complaining about his lack of presence in your life lately. You knew how important this all had been to him.
He had shown up at your window not longer than an hour ago, telling you all about how things had gone down pretty quickly. Rafe Cameron had killed Sheriff Peterkin, and they had blamed John B. The fault had been falsely placed on JJ’s best friend and he was now being searched and wanted for the murder of Sheriff Peterkin.
You had been shocked knowing Sheriff Peterkin had been killed, a hand coming up to your mouth while you gasped a stunned breath out.
If things weren’t already bad enough, JJ told you they had to escape in order to save John B.
They had to escape.
Although JJ had not wanted you to meddle with the dangerous events going on in his life to protect you, you had never even mentioned wanting to interfere. You weren’t part of his group of friends and respected he had a life outside of your relationship. You just wanted to be a safe place for him, when things got too much. Despite this, however, you had been introduced to the pogues and had hang out with them multiple times. In the time you had been with JJ, you had grown to love John B — as the rest of them — deeply. The news had shocked you, not grasping the fact your friend was being chased by the police to be thrown away in prison.
JJ had told you they would arrest him, he would end up in jail in the best case scenario — worst case, was death penalty.
You loved John B, and understood the situation. But JJ couldn’t leave. He just couldn’t.
He bit the inside of his cheek, he was struggling with his own mind. You could see that. His gaze was set on something you couldn’t place.
“I’m sorry, baby. I have to.” He spoke up then.
It's funny 'cause I've always dreamed of me and you
Now here we are
Staring at the stars
You just broke my heart
Even though you promised you'd never do that from the start
But I guess we can only make it so far
You felt your legs give in beneath you, suddenly struggling to breathe. You took a step back and closed your eyes to brace yourself. You tried to keep your irregular breathing at bay, not being able to get air in your lungs. It felt as someone was squeezing them.
When you opened your eyes, he was finally looking at you. You observed him trough wet lashes. His face was contorted in sadness and pain, bruises littered his skin, a cut was on his lip and another on his cheekbone. Anger rose inside of you at the thought of his dad beating him up after he had been arrested, and you quickly looked away before your feelings would get too much to handle.
You took in a breath, gathering your thoughts before you spoke up;
“I know this is important. That this is something — something serious. Okay? I know that. Shit went down.” Your voice was shaking as you spoke, “And I love John B. But you can’t leave. You can’t leave me J.”
You didn’t dare looking at him. You saw him bring a hand up to pull at his hair, clearly in distress, through the corner of your eyes. You stood still, letting the tears flow down your face.
“I can’t leave him alone in this. I can’t. He needs me.” He whispered.
You let your head fall down, closing your eyes in pain.
You needed him too.
'Cause time wasn't in our favor
This isn't goodbye, this is simply see you later
“What about me?” You whispered back, your voice so low he almost didn’t hear you.
You looked at him to see the collected expression he had been struggling to keep on his face — failing miserably — completely breaking down as he searched desperately for your eyes. You could make out the tears forming in his eyes through your own blurred vision.
He was in front of you in a matter of moments. His arms suddenly circled your waist, hugging you tightly. His face was in the crook of your neck and you felt his lips move against your skin when he spoke up;
“I know. I know, baby. You’re right. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry — so sorry.” He started frantically, his painful apologies leaving his mouth in a sorrowful rush.
You broke down then, unable to keep it in anymore. You started sobbing, your arms embracing his neck to tightly hug him to you. You never wanted to let go.
Your sobs filled your room, making JJ’s heart crack each time a strained cry left your lips.
“I’ve been the shittiest boyfriend this past month. Never had time for my girl. Never around. I’m fucking sorry. I’m sorry, baby.” He soothed you in his arms, “You were always so supportive, always had my back, didn’t you? I don’t deserve you. My beautiful girl.”
Your feet slightly lifted off the ground, JJ not willing to let you go just yet. His words were making you cry all the more.
“My girl. So perfect. I don’t deserve you.” he repeated, and you could swear you felt tears on your skin.
JJ was crying.
“I need you too. I swear I do. I just can’t leave him alone right now. His life depends on this. Please tell me you understand, baby.” He whispered.
You nodded slightly, just enough for him to get you. His arms hugged you impossibly tighter.
You continued to cry. You couldn’t believe you were losing him. He rocked you in your loving embrace to soothe your cries.
“I love you.” He confessed suddenly.
You froze.
You and JJ had never told each other. You had been together for a year, yet the three big words scared the both of you immensely. It simply was a big deal for the two of you, not just some meaningless thing you could say to someone. And you were firmly convinced that’s how it should’ve been.
Although you had realized a few months ago you loved him, you were afraid to confess yourself, scared JJ would not reciprocate your feelings. He was JJ Maybank after all, it had shocked you to begin with that he even liked you when he had confessed it a little over a year ago. He was known for having quite a fame between the girls on the island, and it just hadn’t seem right for him to want you.
This was everything you could ask for, except JJ was leaving you. You felt your tears fall harder at his confession.
“I love you, J.” You cried on his shoulder, hoping you were having a bad dream right now and he wasn’t really about to get away.
He pulled you closer to him at your words, exhaling deeply in your shoulder, almost as if he was relieved you were reciprocating his feelings. Was he really that oblivious?
“Fuck, Y/N.” His voice was strained while he cried in your loving arms, tears wetting your t-shirt.
He moved his head from where it was nestled in the crook of your neck, and put some space between your faces to look at you. His beautiful blue eyes found yours desperately, and you couldn’t stand to see his face in pain and streamed by tears.
Let me know when it's time to come back
Maybe when your life is on track
And you don't have to hesitate
Hopefully it isn't too late
Luckily for you I'm patient
I'm ok with you making me wait and
As long as you're near, I'll be here
Even if it takes ten years
“I’ll find some way to get in touch with you.” He promised softly, a hand coming up from your waist to rest on your cheek.
You nodded once again, not being able to get words out. You sighed, lifting your hand to place it on his own.
“Please, just —“ he trailed off, not really knowing how to put it, “I don’t know how long it’s gonna take, and I know this might sound selfish but — wait for me, all right?”
A sob escaped your mouth at his words. It felt like someone was ripping your heart from your chest.
“However long it takes.” You managed to let out, squeezing his hand under yours, “Even if it’s forever. You didn’t have to ask me.”
JJ let a sigh out, and brought his other hand on your face. In mere seconds his lips were on yours, passionately kissing you while salted tears stained your painful exchange.
You could never move on from him, and you put as much love as you could in that kiss. To show him you loved him. To show him you would be here, waiting for him when he would get back.
Can't fall in love, when I found the one
How am I supposed to move on
When you're never really too far gone?
The memories won't go away
I feel pain every time I hear your name
But I always think of you the same
“Me and you, baby.” He whispered against your lips, “Nobody else, right? Just wait for me.”
You knew he didn’t think too much of himself, his father having eternally ruined the golden-hearted boy, but for him to think a single thought about anybody else could even cross your love-struck mind was just irrational. Everybody knew how much you adored JJ, and couldn’t possibly be with anyone else as long as your love was there. Was he really worried you would forget about him? Move on to someone else?
“Me and you.” You confirmed feebly, “Nobody else but you, JJ. Don’t you ever worry about that. Ever.”
He understood what you meant, you had told him multiple times jealousy shouldn’t even be on the plate in your relationship because you were utterly his. Nobody else could ever compare to JJ. How could they? The feelings you felt for the boy were something you had never experienced before. Your heart, mind, body and soul belonged to JJ forever.
'Cause time wasn't in our favor
This isn't goodbye, this is simply see you later
His forehead rested on yours and you both closed your eyes to relish in each other’s touch one last time, whispering sweet farewells in your embrace.
You felt exhausted, worn out even. The emotional struggle you were facing was draining you mentally and physically.
JJ sensed your distress, and brought his hands down the back of your thighs to lift you up.
You got the hint, and jumped in his arms, your own still around his neck. He carried you to your bed, while he repeatedly showered your face and hair with soft kisses.
He placed you on the mattress, your head hitting your pillow. Your knees came up to your chest as you laid on your side, letting out the last tears you had in you.
You panicked at the loss of JJ’s touch, turning around to see him sit down beside you. You grabbed his wrist and brought it in front of you, cradling it. You placed wet kisses on his skin before tugging him to you. He was already laying down behind you, his front facing your back as he wrapped the arm you were cradling around your waist in a protective hold. JJ intertwined your fingers, resting your hands in the position you kept his own just seconds ago. Near your face and between your arms. Sweet kisses were placed on the back of your head.
The two of you softly cried together, your bodies one as the pain didn’t seem to subside, not even slightly.
“My precious girl. Do you know how much I love you? Always here for me. I didn’t even show up most days and still here you were always waitin’ for me. Not even once complaining. Precious, precious girl.” His whispers were soothing in your ear as you closed your eyes in an attempt to stop the tears and the terrible headache they were causing.
You brought your intertwined hands even closer to your chest and wished to never let his own go.
“You sleep, alright? I won’t let go until you do. I’ll be here with you until you fall asleep.” He spoke quietly.
You nodded just briefly before placing a kiss on his hand.
“Don’t be afraid. We’ll be together again before you know it.”
You wished it was true.
You could feel your eyelids starting to get heavy, a sleepy daze engulfing your tired body.
“I love you, baby.” You heard at last.
“I love you, J.” You managed to let out before letting yourself drift into a deep sleep, stopping forcing it away.
You couldn’t stand the thought of having to watch him go, JJ knew that. So you let yourself finally fall asleep, your body exhausted. You hoped, in your nearly asleep state, this would just be a bad nightmare once you would wake up.
The next morning, JJ wasn’t there. His touch wasn’t there anymore. You turned around slowly, only to be met with the empty spot JJ had been in just hours ago.
On your nightstand, sat a white paper. You could make out black ink on it.
Sitting up, you took it in your hands so you could read it, already dreading the tears that were starting to form in your eyes.
Your hands trembling as you read the words JJ had probably scribbled down in a rush.
I’ll be back for you. I love you more than anything else in this world.
Me and you, nobody else.
Yours, JJ.
Let me know when it's time to come back
Maybe when your life is on track
And you don't have to hesitate
Hopefully it isn't too late
Luckily for you I'm patient
I'm ok with you making me wait and
As long as you're near, I'll be here
Even if it takes ten years

HELLO! I'm here with a TWF request! Fully platonic fic, but a fic where a close friend and employee of Jack Walters finds him as Bon and recognizes him after they spent months looking for him when he went missing. Maybe it could be a Angst/Comfort fic as well! - moss
Closure.
The one thing you thought you'll never get.
For several long months you've been searching for Jack, wondering where he could have gone. Of course Rosemary was just as fretful, but she searched the restaurant nonstop in a hopeless struggle until one day...
She went missing, too.
The number of friends and coworkers who've gone missing without a trace left you paranoid that you'll be the next victim.
But to who?
You didn't know, although when you visited the restaurant when it was open..Bon always gave you odd stares. Like he was watching and waiting for you to make one wrong move.
Fortunately he never lunged off the stage or did anything more than stare.
Even so, it was kinda creepy. You couldn't help but felt like there was some....unusual connection between him and Jack. Like anytime you mentioned his name, Bon would turn his head.
You've been afraid to confront him alone until now.
Recently you received word from Felix that a new storage facility--called K-9--had been established in the heart of Saint Juana's forest. A temporary place for the animatronics until he could finish the paperwork for some "Relocate Project".
You thought he'd be more concerned about Jack and everyone else who went missing, but he seemed obsessed with keeping the franchise alive.
Although you were close to giving up hope, you believed this facility was the last clue.
Your last chance at finding Jack.
..........
"K-9..wonder if that pun was intended.." You mused as you arrived at the storage facility.
After watching the training tapes, you got everything you needed, including a set of keys for the main entrance and the rooms within it. Once inside, it took you a while to find the animatronics.
Plus it was so dark and cramped, even with your flashlight guiding you. It made you feel more uneasy by the second.
Still..you took a deep breath and pushed forward, determined to finish your mission.
At some point you finally arrived at one of the rooms mentioned in the tape--a room that hid the animatronics and their spare parts.
Your eyes immediately landed on Bon, who was laying against the wall. The poor rabbit looked like he's seen better days. The fabric casing around his lower arms and legs had been removed, and his teeth had chipped away into sharp points.
In a way they looked like old dentures, which didn't help the creepiness of his overall appearance.
"There's gotta be some light in here.." You grumbled as you shook the flashlight, seeing it was growing dimmer, before deciding to look for a switch.
Though when you finally found one, that's when your flashlight decided to die. "Huh?" With a frown you shook it again, confused.
But you froze when you heard the sounds of mechanical clunking, briefly glancing back at the darkness. "B-Bon..?"
Silence answered you.
'Maybe something fell...just relax, [y/n].' Sighing, you turned on the switch, which illuminated the room only slightly.
But hey, it was better than nothing.
Though you heard heavy breathing noises--which sounded awfully organic--and nervously turned around to see Bon towering over you. You jumped a little as he cackled, clearly taking delight in your fright.
"J-Jeez..you're fast, huh?"
As his clawed hand reached out to you, he hesitated and tilted his eyes, confused at your lack of terror.
Not only that but..something about you seemed familiar..
While he remained still, you seized the opportunity to do something that would most likely be the death of you.
You stepped forward and embraced him.
Yes. You were hugging the tall decrepit rabbit animatronic. Now he was more tense than ever before, wondering what on earth you were doing. "Wh-Wh-What's this now? A hug-g-g?" His voice was choppy and warped, but still held that snarky tone he was known for.
"Yeah, I missed you." You sighed and stepped away, gazing up at him. "And I..really miss Jack. Maybe I was a fool to think he'd be here. But if you ever see him, Bon..tell him I'm sorry about his children, Ed and Molly."
Bon just stared at you. You couldn't tell what he was thinking, but it seemed your efforts were in vain.
What were you thinking? He probably didn't even know Jack since he was still being built by Susan when he vanished.
"Well, I'll see how your other friends are doing, I guess. See you around, Bon." Forcing a smile, you turned around in disappointment and heartache.
'Damnit, another dead end. Maybe he IS gone and I haven't-'
"Wait..[y/n]..."
With wide eyes, you slowly looked back at him, shocked.
Bon spoke yet again, but his voice sounded...deeper yet softer. It had the same kind of distorted undertones, though you could easily recognize the all-too-familiar voice of-
"Are you..mimicking him, Bon? Because this isn't funny-"
"It's easier to show than explain. I'm sorry.."
You fell silent as he reached up to grip his mask. He seemed to struggle a bit, but he slowly peeled it off and lowered it so you could finally see the man you've been searching for.
Your colleague, boss, and best friend:
Jack Walten, and his rotten decayed face.
His hair was somehow still there, but far more matted and sticking to the bloody wounds on his skin. Through the black tuffs you could make out his teeth--the lips ripped off and forming a permanent smile that mirrored the rabbit's.
The mechanical parts to the animatronic eyes were practically shoved into his empty sockets. As if...Jack was forced to see the world through Bon's eyes.
It was such a nauseating sight, but instead of being terrified all you could wonder was:
Did he do this to himself?
No...he wouldn't have. This couldn't have been an accident or some suicide. The Jack you knew wouldn't have done something like this to himself.
But what sick bastard would shove him into this suit and leave him here to rot?
"J-Jack...who did this to you?" Your voice wavered with anger. "Tell me, please. I wanna know who killed you."
Jack didn't answer. Instead he put the mask back on; it seemed Bon was crying now, his eyes leaking an oily substance as his hands trembled. "E-Ed...Molly...Rose....S-Sophie...Felix...Felix-x..." His voice became more warped and distorted, merged with his creation's.
Loud mechanical grinding from inside him was making him twitch violently as he clutched his snout.
"Jack."
Bon froze and looked down at you, tilting his head.
"I know you want your family back..trust me, I know how much you loved them. You used to show me Ed's and Molly's concepts of the Showstoppers and..you said they'd grow up to be amazing artists." You smiled, wiping the tears from your eyes. "They would've loved them..they would've loved Bon. They basically brought him to life."
His green eyes glowed a bit brighter and he giggled as he crouched down slightly. "E-Eddie and Molly would'a loved me? Of course..wh-who wouldn't love me-e-e-e?"
Now you saw that Bon was back in control; it was clear that he and Jack were at war with each other. Sadly that might be the last you'll probably hear of your friend's voice for a while.
But...it's safe to say that he had been found.

Tommy gripped your wrists pulling you out through the narrow cavern as it collapsed only seconds later. “Fuck!” You tucked your legs close to your body, trying to shake the feeling of Cindy's grip around your ankles. “What the fuck is happening?” You looked up as Tommy still held you close, you both too scared to move from the previous near death experience.
Everything was normal. You had all just ran out into the woods, you and Alice teasing Cindy about some stupid witchcraft book she had found in nurse lane’s office. But then Cindy decided to slash Alice and Arnie’s guts open with a machete.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck fuck!” You cried, bawling your hands into fists, wandering down what felt like endless hallways. You both soon realised that you had been going in a circle. It didn’t make any sense, it felt like another dimension or a mirror maze, where everything looked the same, maybe even was the same. “Y/N.” You turned your head to face tommy. “What?” He looked at you confused. “I didn’t say anything.”
You were going to shake it off as you just imagining it, but then you heard it again. “Y/N!” This time you knew it wasn’t Tommy, it was a woman. “Hello?!” You yelled out, hoping that someone had finally come to your rescue, but Tommy just continued to look at you like you were crazy.
You strayed from Tommy’s side following as the voice repeated your name. “Where are you going?” Tommy yelled after you as you wandered, not bothering to pay any attention to his questions.
You followed the voice, bending through the same corridors and hallways, not knowing where you’d end up. It was when you twisted round one corner you halted in your steps. It was a huge room, far larger than any of the ones you had previously found. But the greatest way it stood out was the mass in the centre of the room.
It was dark and fleshy, like clumps of meat thrown into a pile. You gasped as you stood closer gaining a better look at the thing. It was alive. It rose up and down almost like it was breathing and it thumped like a beating heart. With each whisper of your name you grew closer, drawn to it. You reached your hand out transfixed, but when your hand melted into its flesh, you froze.
It all flashed through your brain so fast. Cyrus Miller, ruby lane, billy baker…Cindy Berman. It was every single one of those shadyside phycos, even Cindy. It was all of the pain, all of the suffering and all of the evil. You lifted your hand, a thick slime dragging with. You backed up slowly, expecting to hit a wall. You were soon proved wrong when you felt your body fly backwards.
You cried out as you landed with a thud, Tommy finally catching up to you, peering over to find you clutching your leg in pain. “Shit, are you okay?!”
He had jumped down helping to lift you from the pit. You sobbed, tears running down your cheeks like a broken faucet, your hands clutching at His shirt. Tommy held you running his finger gently through your hair, shushing you softly as you buried yourself into his warmth.
Tommy gently slipped from your hold, leaning down to examine the damage. It was bad. So bad, you could practically see the bone protruding from the skin. You felt your gut wrench at the sight causing you to lean over beside you, regurgitating your dinner onto the cold cave floor. “Don’t look, okay? Just look at me.” Tommy leant over wiping your mouth with his jacket. You nodded slowly, trying your best to keep your eyes locked with Tommy’s despite how hard your morbid curiosity urged you to look down. Ripping his plaid jacket into strips he looked up at you. “We’re gonna get out of here. You’re gonna get out of here. No matter what I do, I’m gonna make sure I protect you, just like I always have.”
“I love you so much Tommy. I’ve never and never will love someone the way I do you.” You lean into him pressing your foreheads together. “I can’t lose you, okay?” He nods sympathetically, pressing a light kiss to the slope of your nose.
“Do you remember those dates we’d go on, out to the forest at night, and we’d just lay there, staring up through the cracks in the trees?” You nod. “I want you to think about that, okay? I want you to think about how many more we’ll go on once we get out of here.”
You hold a tight grip on his arm as he wipes away at the area. “I’m gonna have to put it back into place now.”
You pleaded with him, as the tears started again. “Please, no. Please just leave me here. Just go and find help okay? I can’t do it Tommy, I can’t do it”
“Hey, hey, hey. C’mon, look at me.” He places his hand on your cheek, tilting your head to look him in the eye. “You're gonna be fine, okay? You just gotta focus right now.” You nod timidly, the tears starting to slow.
He holds the bottom of your calf with one hand and your heel with the other. “Just count to three and I’m gonna do it, okay baby?” He looks up at you, his soft words lulling your anxiety. You bite your knuckle nervously, unsure as to how you should answer, but the look of trust in his eyes persuades you easily. “Okay.”
You breathe in. “One, two-” You let out a blood curdling scream as a large crack rung out, bouncing against the walls of the cave. Your fist gripped Tommy’s forearm tightly as you cried out a series of various curses. “You fucking asshole.” You whine out in pain, letting out an airy laugh trying to brighten your rather dull circumstances.
“You're okay baby.” You wince as he wraps the piece of fabric he had ripped from his jacket around your leg, tying it tight enough to hold you together for the moment. You grabbed Tommy’s shoulder as he wrapped his arm around your waist lifting you from the ground. You hiss as you feel your leg throb from the sudden movement. “Do you think you’re able to stand?” Tommy watches as you wobble trying to stay grounded. You nod. “Yeah.” You had no choice and you both knew it, if you wanted to live, you’d have to.
You both started your journey, finally entering a new environment as you trudged deeper into the earth of Shadyside. Why did these tunnels even exist? The intricate details of the maze made it easy to come to the conclusion that they were man made, but by who? Not once had you ever heard of these tunnels, and by the looks of it, nobody else had either, despite nurse Lane of course.
“Be careful.” Tommy tightened his grip around you. “You might slip.”
“Okay.” You mumble, too exhausted to form a real answer. You looked around at the walls, floor and ceiling. The further the two of you walked, the denser this moss became. You felt a wave of familiarity but you couldn’t quite place it. Red moss…red moss! It hit you, Cindy! Her red stained shirt, she said it was from the moss in the outhouses. “Tommy! It’s the fucking outhouses! We fucking made it!” You would probably be jumping up and down with joy right now if it wasn’t for your broken leg.
You look up, spotting the out house toilet openings. Wow, real nice, you’re both sitting in Sunnyvale shit and piss right now. “Yeah, but how are we supposed to get out?” Tommy sighs looking up at the roughly 15 foot climb. “You can’t climb that.”
You look at him. “Yeah, but you might.”
“No. I’m sorry but no, I’m not leaving you down here, especially when there’s Cindy running around up there trying to kill us. C’mon let’s go, if we’re at the outhouses, we must be near to camp.” He directs you along but before you can both carry on your interrupted. “Did you hear that?!”
“No I-“
“Shush.” You both stayed quiet listening as to what caught your attention. It’s screaming. Someone is screaming from the outhouses. “Hey! Help! Please, we’re stuck down here!” You yell trying to get the attention of the voices.
The space grows quiet as the screaming halts, the both of you waiting nervously for any indication of life when a head pops out from one of the seat holes. “What the fuck are you guys doing in the toilets?!”
It was ziggy, Cindy's sister. “Ziggy..” you wonder if it’s right to tell her what’s happened to her sister but you decide against it, not wanting to put the girl in such an emotionally vulnerable state whilst she’s already physically. “Gary’s up here too!” She yells down as Gary’s head pops out another toilet hole. “Hey!” He yells, surprisingly light heartedly considering there’s a murderer running around camp butchering little kids with a fucking machete. “Can you get us out of this fucking toilet or not?!”
Gary had managed to make some sort of bucket contraption with some rope. “It’s just like You’re Gothel climbing up Rapunzel's hair, okay?!” He yelled down, lowering it down to you.
You're about to slip onto the contraption when you hear Ziggy's unfortunately very familiar screams, and before you know it Gary’s decapitated body lies beside you on the floor. You and Tommy let out an in sync gasp, him pulling you away into his chest, as to protect you from the image. “We’re gonna have to find another way out.”
You think to yourself. Alice…she had shown you something whilst you were robbing nurse lanes office with Arnie. “I know how.” You pull out the book that started this whole thing.
“Baby, I don’t get how that book is gonna help us, let’s be honest it’s some random witches and wizards bullshit written how many hundreds of years ago?”
“No, tommy.” You turn the book to him parting the pages. “It’s a map.” You rest the book on the floor, the two of you leaning over it. “It's a map of camp, you see over here, these x’s are the graves we found. And over here, that’s where we entered.” You point your finger on the page. “Here, there’s another exit. Mess hall.”
His eyes lighten. “Jesus, fuck! You’re so smart!” He pulls you in for a kiss.
—-
You sat, your back arched over as you watched Tommy laid on his back kicking open the vent that led to the mess hall when another scream rang out. You instantly knew that it was ziggy, far too acquainted with the tone of her screams.
“Tommy!” With one final kick the vent flew open, Tommy hauling himself through in a split second. “Don’t move, stay here! I’m gonna go help Ziggy.”
Tommy always cared so much for the kids at camp, you honestly weren’t surprised that he was willing to risk his life for one of them.
—povc—
Tommy barged through the doors of the mess hall, an all too familiar song ringing through the speakers, the noise made his head thump as it blared.
Tommy followed the screams, grabbing a mallet that lied on a nearby counter. Cindy stood beating at a supply closet door as ziggy screamed from within. Tommy pulled cindy's shoulder for her to face him as he swung the mallet into her jaw. Cindy tumbled to the ground as she spat a mouthful of blood and teeth onto the floor. Tommy hesitated holding the mallet in his hand, ready to strike Cindy. But before he could come to any decision Cindy grabbed her machete from the ground slicing at Tommy’s thigh.
Tommy dropped to the floor, his mallet sliding across the freshly mopped floor tiles, Cindy rising to her feet, towering over Tommy. Overpowered, he crawled backwards digging the heels of his hands into the cold tile floor. He was braced for impact when Cindy stopped turning around.
—povc—
You lunged at her digging the knife you found into her back, pulling it out as she turned to face you, plunging it into her chest over and over until she hit the floor unresponsive. You fell. You had finally reached your limit. Your leg was broken for fucks sake and you just murdered Cindy. Pure-hearted, hard working Cindy Berman. You plunged your knife deep into her chest until you split it down the middle. You dragged your body over to Tommy’s wrapping your arms around him, wetting his shirt as you became inconsolable. He held his hand at the back of your neck placing soft kisses onto the top of your head. “It’s okay baby, it’s okay. She’s dead now, we’re gonna be okay.”
You heard as ziggy opened the closet door, dropping to her knees at the sight of her sister dead on the floor. The red headed girl pulled her sister's body over to face her, wrapping her arms around Cindy crying into her cold lifeless body. You crawled over to the girl pulling her away from her sister's touch into yours. “I’m sorry.” You whispered.
The three of you struggled as you heard the last bell ring signalling that the bus would be leaving. Ziggy yelled out as the bus doors began to close. The wheels began to roll forwards but before it could depart a boy budged the doors open, calling out to her. “Ziggy!” You released your grip from the girl's side as she ran to him, embracing him. You rested your head on Tommy’s shoulder at the sight of the two. “I hope she’ll be okay.”
The two of you had found a place on the bus as Ziggy sat with you fellow councillor Nick goode. Finally being able to breathe, you rest your head on Tommy’s shoulder. “I’m so glad you're okay.” You look up at him smiling at his words. “Maybe you're the one who really needs protecting, without me you’d be dead meat.” You press your lips together, smiling softly into the kiss. “I don’t know what I would’ve done if I had lost you.”
Your eyes wandered to the window watching as the camp nightwing sign slowly floated away out of sight. Finally it was over.
———
After the accident medics treated and hospitalised many of the camp nightwing campers and counselors such as you and Tommy. Your leg was thankfully saved. They said if not for Tommy it probably would have had to be amputated due to infection.
It was two months since that night, you still had to use crutches but besides that, you made a speedy recovery alongside tommy. Although he was in a much less critical condition than you and was discharged within a few days, he still spent every night in the hospital with you.
You laid beside Tommy his leg slotted between yours as the velvet underground played softly in the background. You run your fingers through his hair slowly as he whines quietly into your chest. It finally felt like the first time since that day that you both could finally relax.
You pulled away from his touch leaning over him, kissing his lips softly. “You look so pretty.” You hum. He smiles into the kiss. “Not as much as you, baby.”
You lifted yourself straddling Tommy’s hips, deepening the kiss as your hands ran down playing with the hem of his shirt, travelling underneath. He pulls away, his hand rubbing your thigh. “Are you sure? I don’t want you to hurt yourself.”
“I’m okay.” You reassure him, pressing soft kisses along his collarbone. You removed your shirt as Tommy’s hands floated up to your waist.
“God, you're so beautiful.” He mumbles, kissing up your chest slowly as you take off your pyjama shorts, throwing them to the floor.
You lean down unbuttoning Tommy’s jeans, taking him in your hand. Tommy twitches at the contact as you align himself to you. You lower yourself onto him slowly as his hands hold a firm grip on your lower back. Tommy lays his head back, his hips thrusting up into you.
You shiver as you lift yourself up and down, your thighs shaking from the stimulation. His thrusts hardened, your soft whimpers of his name encouraging him. “You look so fucking good right now.” He gripped your waist helping you keep a steady pace.
You steadied yourself, leaning your arms out pressing your hands against his chest as you felt yourself near your climax. “Shit, Tommy I’m gonna come.” You whined under your breath.
“Don’t worry baby, me too.” He runs his hands down your back lovingly.
You threw your head back as you felt Tommy’s hand wander down edging you on further, your breath quivering at the touch. You felt his hips buckle beneath you as he reached his peak, yours following soon after.
You sighed your body collapsing onto his chest. “I love yours so much.” You mumble into his skin as he presses a soft kiss against your forehead.
—-
It was the 16th anniversary since that day at nightwing, the two of you still happily together. Despite the permanent scar that night had left on the both of you mentally and physically, you both managed to stay strong, the event probably making the two of you even closer than you already were before.
Every year instead of hiding from the memories of that night, you both embrace it. Tommy’s favourite way to do this was to ‘reenact your youths’ in his words by driving the two of you out to the forest, where you would’ve spent so many nights together when you were younger.
You would open the sunroof and lay out the seats creating a little bed for the two of you. Probably not the safest thing the two of you could do, but most definitely the sweetest.
The two of you laid there staring up at the trees, resting your head on Tommy’s chest, your arm draped across his abdomen. Looking up at him you pressed a small kiss to the slope of his nose, pressing your heads together. The moonlight glazed over his cheeks, giving him a paler look. “You look so beautiful.”
—-
The car ride home was quiet but the atmosphere felt soft and comforting as Tommy rested his hand on your inner thigh. The velvet underground played softly on the radio as your eyes gazed out at the passing scenery.

LESTER X READER - GN Reader
-
The Sinclair porch. The threshold from a dead town to a family home.
It was a place where things happened: fights, deep conversation, solitude and a smoke, promises, agreements, understandings ... hell, you'd even given Lester a handjob on the porch once, your bodies pressed together for warmth during the winter, quiet, foreheads touching.
Yeah, plenty had happened here. Plenty had been fought for and won. Plenty things had been broken.
And now you were sitting here, limp and soaked, because you couldn't face the fight you'd just won. You couldn't face what you'd just broke.
You could hardly believe the resounding numbness in your chest as you raised your cigarette to your lips, taking a draw. The cig sat between your first and middle fingers, and as you exhaled, you turned your hand to examine the blood drying in the grooves of your knuckles.
Lester was gonna be mad.
As though your misery had summoned him, his truck appeared around the bend, jerking and clattering down the cracked pavement toward the house. He got about halfway up the hill before you could see him clearly through the windshield. Silly man must have forgot that it wasn't normal for people to be covered in blood like you were, 'cause it took him a couple seconds to stop grinning at you, stop the car, and jump out.
"Jesus H. Christ!" he crowed, adjusting his hat as he trotted up to the porch. "What in the hell happened ta you? Baby? 'D someone come inta town? Was sure I didn't see nobody - " He climbed one step, then paused, searching your face. "[Y/N]? Wha's wrong? You look..."
You couldn't see yourself, but you could guess. Possessed. Disheveled. Dead inside. You brought the cig to your mouth again, and your hand shook despite the dull apathy you felt.
You exhaled the smoke in a dry murmur, "Please don't hate me."
Lester's expression changed, then. In the blink of an eye, it went from deep concern to the purest, most primal fear. He stormed past you in a frenzy, shoving you out of the way to get to the front door.
He'd wouldn't like what he found. Bo in the kitchen, Vincent in the back bathroom. Bo with his skull smashed like a pumpkin, Vincent with enough stab wounds in his neck it was a wonder his head hadn't fallen right off. Bo with a paring knife just in reach of fingers that had once trembled and struggled, Vincent completely unarmed and unsuspecting (for once).
"Bo?" you heard Lester call. "Vince?"
You closed your eyes and waited for the screaming to start.
Four, five, six, seven...
You heard when he found Bo.
Eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen...
Bo's name, Vincent's name. Bo's name. Vincent's name. Jonesy's name. Vincent's name. Your name. Vincent's name. Vincent's name.
Fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty...
You heard when he found Vincent.
Twenty-one, twenty-two...
Vincent's name.
Twenty-three, twenty-four, twenty-five, twenty-six, twenty-seven...
You wondered if the crying would ever end. You wondered why you couldn't find it in your heart to feel as sorry as you should. Maybe you just couldn't feel anything anymore.
Eighty, eighty-one, eighty-two ... you waited for the front door to open again.
When it finally did, a heated silence came with it. The only thing you could hear was Lester's labored breathing, coming in puffs through his nose and a trembling mouth. Was he going to kill you? You wondered if he would make it quick, or if he'd draw it out as some kind of revenge.
"Where's Jonesy?" His tone started out low and abrupt, but before you could answer, he exploded: "Where th' fuck is Jonesy at?!"
"Jonesy," you mumbled, ashing your cigarette and watching the light flare. "She's gone ... ran away. She'll come back eventually."
"You fuckin' [ bitch / asshole ]!" was all you could make out before he descended into a fit of incoherent sobs. Under the current of his suffering, you could hear his boots scuffing against the porch, the distinct sound of a handgun chambering.
You closed your eyes and braced yourself.

Tumblr media
At first, you’re more like a property to him. He learned that the only way he can keep something or someone around for a long time, is if he treats them like a property. Because human’s feelings change, and he needs to protect himself from hurting.
Everything that he’s told you, the reason behind the marriage, the purpose of you are all true.
He needs to marry anyway, as one of the stupid ancient condition his old father has set and he knows his father had set it to make him stay grounded.
He scoffs, wondering why his father doesn’t learn from his past mistakes. And that’s why he’s made a plan on his own, to marry someone without a powerful background, one he can easily dispose when it’s time, one who won’t be a liability to him. A tool.
And now that tool is missing. He pinches his temple, eyes shut close. He’s alone in his office, late at night because he doesn’t sleep well these days.
Since his wife had packed her bags, left him and gone missing.
He sighs thinking about the last argument he had with you. It’s your own fault for building castles in the air and mistaking those as his genuine gesture and fall in love with him. And he realises that because he is not stupid. And during that one night, he sees you, fully sees you and he can’t deny the desire it stirred in his mind. This may be a temporary marriage but it doesn’t mean that he can’t touch you. After all, you are his wife. He knows you are beautiful, he’d known it since the first day because he isn’t blind. Yet he knows he can’t touch you without your consent. Although he did slip up because he tends to lose his vigilance around you. And that’s how he came up with another proposal.
Yet the proposal took a very different turn and became your last straw to leave him.
He couldn’t believe that you’re stupid enough to fall in love with him. Don’t you fear him? You know he’s dangerous yet you still confess your love to him and he doesn’t know whether to worship you at your feet or spanks you for it.
He’s never led you on and has never failed to remind what you are to him, simply an object yet you still fall for him.
He lets out another heavy sigh. Because frankly, he doesn’t know what to do. All of these aren’t supposed to happen and you’re not supposed to love him.
He had put up barriers and boundaries around himself and that’d made it very hard for anyone to simply approach him. People don’t approach him unless they want something from him and he’s well aware of it because he knows how the world works. Not to mention the fact that he’s the leader of the biggest mafia gang, notorious for all sorts of services they offer; machinery, assassinations, bribery, illegal weaponry, drugs trafficking and namely everything else. That had made it a billion times more difficult for anyone to approach or him to let anyone in.
And you’re well aware of it.
But you still fall for him.
He just doesn’t get it; how you’re able to fall for him despite knowing who he is and what he’s capable of.
He scoffs thinking how he could easily kill you. You’re too soft, weak and fragile.
Yet you still fall for him.
Despite knowing how easily he could kill you.
And without asking for anything in return.
And Jimin doesn’t find that believable at all. And at the face of such genuine adoration, he doesn’t know what to do. Because who on earth would be stupid enough to do that?
But you did. You are his stupid wife.
And that makes it even easier to kill you, not just by him. And the thought of anyone laying a finger on you angers him. It makes him want to kill someone. Tear their limbs one by one. Burn them alive. There’s just too many options.
But first he has to find you.
He sighs, for the hundredth time. You’re such a headache.
And that’s when his phone rings. A call from a private number.
“If it isn’t Y/N’s beloved husband..”
Jimin could feel his whole body tensing. “Who are you?”
The person from the other end laughs. “Damn, I need to come find you more often so you’d remember. You beat me into a pulp before.. and now I want leverage. You think you can just take my sister for free?“
Jimin’s hand clamp in a tight fist. “Jay.”
“You remember.. not bad. You see, when you take my little sister, you’ve caused me some complications. You can say she’s my source of income. She’s a pretty slut, no denying that. And I could’ve earned fortunes from selling her off. And you-“
“How much do you want?” Jimin cuts him off.
“Ah.. you’re a smart man.” He laughs before his tone turns serious again. “100 million won would do. For now. And don’t bullshit me saying you don’t have money or whatever. I know you have that much.”
“Where should I meet you?”
“I’ll text you the time and place. And don’t think of calling the police or bring your little friends. I have someone powerful backing me. She’s my little sister, but I’m not gonna hesitate to do anything if you don’t listen to my words. Right, little sister?”
A shrieking scream piercing through the phone is the last thing Jimin hears before Jay hangs up. Jimin’s whole body filled with rage and he grips his phone so tight it almost breaks into two.
“He’s not gonna come...” you slur, your vision not entirely clear and your swollen lips making it hard to enunciate words once Jay finishes his phone call to your husband.
“We’ll see about that bitch. And if he doesn’t.. count your time now..” he says in full malicious tone.
You don’t know how long you’ve been knocked out again but you wake up when you hear commotions.
“And the knight is finally here.” You hear your brother’s voice.
You struggle to focus on your vision. Your whole body freezes when your husband comes into view.
There’s no way Jimin’s here.
Perhaps it’s just a hallucination.
It’s a whole level of pathetic, you think. Because even when you’re in this state, he’s all you could see.
Perhaps you’re really nearing the end of your life, and your mind conjures whatever it desperately wants the most.
“Clara, what the fuck do you think you’re doing here?” The person hisses.
And it’s weird because it’s your husband’s voice.
You blink several times.
And there really is your husband, walking into the warehouse alone. He can’t had possibly willingly walks into a lion’s den alone like that? It’s like a death wish.
Clara turns immediately as soon as she sees Jimin. “Ah.. Jimin.. my Jimin..”
Someone comes and pushes Jimin forward and makes him sit on a chair and tie his hands on his back.
You swallow thickly. You still can’t process the fact that your husband is here.
He finally turns to look at you and he stares at you for several moments, just taking in the sight of battered you covered in bruises and blood and you see the clench in his jaw.
You let out a gasp when the guy standing beside him takes out his gun and points the muzzle on the back of his head. You feel anger bubbling inside you at the sight of it.
Gathering all source of strength, you yell, “Leave my husband out of this Jay!”
Jay quickly steps forward and leaves a stinging slap on your cheek. “If you dare hurt him..” you start and earns another slap from him, making you whimper in pain. You cough several times, your throat feels like burning.
Jimin eyes you furiously. “Keep quiet. Don’t make any sound.” He says, jaw still clenched very tightly. “Clara, what the fuck is this? Why are you here?”
She comes and slowly sits on Jimin’s lap. You notice how he doesn’t flinch away or jerk from her touch. “Baby.. we’ve dealt for years.. good business, good sex. And then you’re suddenly married and you just.. I don’t know, changed?” She says as she runs her fingers across your husband’s cheek.
Jimin just glares at her. “Why did you help him?”
She runs her hand down from his cheeks to his jaw and then settles on his chest, palms flat against them. She shrugs then. “I don’t know.. you know I’m a little crazy. I like having fun. And things.. had been boring. Business is boring, you are boring.. and perhaps I’m trying to put you in place a little, you asshole.” She glares at him.
He gives a very murderous look. “I’m gonna make sure you regret this.”
She leans closer. “Awww shh baby.. I’m not gonna hurt your precious little wife..” and closer. You realize she’s about to kiss him and you hastily look away. You don’t want the last memory you have of your husband before you die is being kissed by another woman. She gets up from his lap, fingers still faintly brushing him everywhere. Then she smirks. “But maybe he will.” She laughs and then exits through the door.
“Did you come with what I ask for?” Jay asks and Jimin juts his chin towards a large black duffel bag on the floor beside him that you hadn’t realized. Jay grins. “Nice doing business with you.. brother in law.”
“Now let us go.” Jimin says.
Jay stops inspecting the money inside the bag and turns to look at him. “No, don’t think it’s that easy..” He signals something and one of his men comes forward. “See, perhaps you don’t really know my sister.. but let me tell you this. She is a fucking whore. And I’m gonna let her be a whore. And you.. you’re going to watch every single men here stick their dick into her pussy.”
Your whole body goes numb as soon as you hear that. Desperately, you glance at your husband. He doesn’t look at you but instead just stares at your brother. You’ve never seen him look so murderous before. Your eyes widen in panic when they pull you from the chair and then roughly push you till you’re kneeling on the floor on all four.
“J-Jimin-” you say, voice thick with desperation.
“Sshh.. shh little sister.. don’t worry.. perhaps your husband might even get hard from this. Don’t you want to please your husband?” Jay smirks.
You feel you eyes start to water when your brain reaches an end and think that there’s no way of escaping this.
He calls one of his men and several others starts to approach as well, all wearing the same look of lust. Jay grabs a handful of your hair and yank it backwards, forcing you to look up. “She’s all yours..”
The nearest guy smirks and licks his lips as he looks at you and starts to strip his pants. You look away immediately. You let out a cry when the guy kneels beside you and yanks your jeans down, exposing your bottom.
“No, no please, please-“ you start to beg and Jimin hisses.
“Keep your fucking mouth shut.” He grits. “Don’t beg.”
You look at him and find him staring right back at you.
“Just look at me.” He says and fresh set of tears run down your cheeks.
The guy smacks your behind making you cry in pain and you almost collapse to the ground but he holds your waist firmly, groping each side harshly. Then, you feel a hand slides from your shoulder towards your throat and slowly starts choking you.
Your head starts to spin from the lack of air supply and you want to scream so badly but no words could come out. The pressure on your throat is so immense and your lung starts to ache.
Then you see a knife hovering in front of you.
A moment of realization hits you that you’re really about to die and it suddenly makes it so imperative that you tell something to Jimin.
“J-Jimin- I love-“
But before you could finish your words, you hear people bursting the doors open and people in suits come rushing in large quantity.
You try to focus your vision on your husband.
His face is calm. Too calm.
Your sight moves towards the crowd rushing in again and briefly sees Taeseok among them and a rush of relief runs through you. The guy choking you eases his grip on your throat instantly as he gets distracted and you feel like collapsing immediately as you struggle to breath again.
Everything happens so quickly. Someone rushes to your husband’s side and unties him and then he’s beside you instantly while someone else unties you. You try your best to glance behind you and sees Jungkook frantically untying you after fixing your clothes.
“Y/N oh my god-“
Jimin quickly shrugs his coat off his shoulder and immediately covers you. He looks at you as he holds you tight. His embrace is so warm and you just want to close your eyes and lean against him. “Keep your eyes open, we’re getting out of here.” He says roughly.
You’re not entirely sure with your vision but you think someone gives Jimin a gun and he starts shooting at people and you freeze, sounds blaring so loudly in your ear. You let out a strangled scream and you squirm away under his embrace that he looks down immediately. Then he looks at Jungkook.
“Jungkook.” He says and Jungkook nods and you feel yourself slipping out of Jimin’s hold while Jungkook brings you flush against him.
For a moment, there are just sounds of guns, people screaming and punches being thrown.
Jungkook pulls you to the side where it’s safer but you just can’t shut your eyes when there’s too many things going on. You then try to focus on your husband. He’s a good few metres away from you and you couldn’t clearly see the face of the other person but you think Jimin’s holding the guy that was going to rape you just now. And then he shoots him right in the head without thinking. And then another shot right at his chest even though the guy’s already crumbling to the ground, lifeless.
Someone then comes up and thrusts your brother to Jimin, making him kneel in front of your husband. You don’t see it before but you now notice that he’s holding a knife on his right hand. Jay’s expression turns horror as Jimin nears him. And then slowly, your husband carves his face with the knife as your brother’s inhuman shriek fills the warehouse.
Your eyes go wide with horror as you watch the traumatising scene unfolds. You feel a scream bubbling from deep inside your throat yet they’re unable to escape from your lips. Your throat somehow still feels constricted.
“Holy fucking shit.” Jungkook mutters and you realize his grip on your arms tightens.
It’s slowly getting more quiet in the warehouse as most of your brother’s or Clara Kim’s men are now dead as they were hugely outnumbered by Jimin’s people. You then realize that he’s taking his time with your brother.
“What did you say you’re about to do to my wife? Cut out her face?” He chuckles. “Let me show you the real art.”
He leans close.
And then he carves your brother’s right eye out while he shrieks in pain.
“This is for touching my wife.”
And then he carves the other one.
“This is for messing with me.”
The scream finally escapes your lips.
“Fuck-“ Jungkook says and quickly covers your eyes and mouth.
The screaming doesn’t stop for a few more minutes and you think you’ll remember your brother’s inhuman scream till the day you die.
“Jimin stop it. She’s gonna get a trauma.” You hear someone says. Jin..?
You hear footsteps approaching you and then suddenly, Jungkook’s hand is being yanked away and your husband’s face comes into view. His forehead beaded with sweat and his expression furious.
You look at him in horror, frankly still traumatised and terrified at him.
But he doesn’t seem to notice. Instead, he thrusts a gun into your hand. “Do you want to kill him?”
Your panic immediately and clutched his arm desperately. “No, no please- let’s just go-“
“Ssh.. ssh I’m here.” He takes back the gun. “And we’re gonna get out of here.” He pulls you into his embrace, cocks the gun and fire a shot straight into Jay’s head.
Your entire body freeze. You watch in horror as your brother’s life starts seeping out, his breathing ragged until finally.. it stops.
“Good God- did you really have to shoot him in front of Y/N?” You hear Namjoon says.
“What?” Jimin asks, confused.
“God, you’re so stupid sometimes Park Jimin.” Yoongi says roughly.
Your husband finally turns to look at you and registers the paleness of your face. “Y/N, you okay?” He asks and then makes you stand to your feet. He keeps his hand steady on your waist and you’re thankful because you can’t feel your feet at all.
You don’t know how but from the corner of your eyes, you see someone who’s lying on the floor slowly lifts a gun and your eyes widen when you realize he’s aiming at your husband.
One of Jimin’s bodyguard sees it too and moves to kick the gun away and he did- but not before the guy cocks the gun and all the bodyguard manages to do is change the target, because the bullet hits you instead.
You fell to the ground immediately when the bullet cuts through your shoulder. It’s weird because it hurts so much that you almost feel nothing at all.
Jimin’s eyes widen when he sees you.
For a brief moment, you think you see your whole life flashes by in your mind very quickly.
If you die right now at the hands of your husband.. that you’d fallen in love with.. it doesn’t seem so bad..
You smile.
Then slowly, you bring your hand up to Jimin’s face to touch him one last time.
And then everything blacks out.

The Menacing Secret (Jennie Kim x Fem! Reader)
Summary: Lee Y/N, a 23 year old college student was off to interview the owners of the mysterious mansion; family sisters Kim, for her documentary film. In order to pass her finals, she must finish doing the assigned task for her. Unbeknownst to her, she made a mark on them that made the sisters go insane, especially to Jennie Kim.
(Blackpink x female reader | Jennie Kim x female reader)
•Prologue•
The dark ambience of the mansion and the freezing atmosphere did nothing but to fuel the rising terror inside her chest. Y/N found herself trapped within the mansion, she couldn't escape now. All she did for the past few hours was running, she felt like a prey. Her entire body was shivering to death probably because of the deep cut that was inflicted in her arm.
Tightening her grip around the flashlight she had been carrying since they started chasing her, Y/N could only flutter her eyes close and pray while she hides inside in one of the many guest rooms of the mansion. She never prayed so hard before, never in her life she did this but right now she needed help.
She needed a miracle to be saved.
It did not help the fact that they turned the lights off everywhere inside, leaving her blind and the only thing that made her see was the flashlight she had been carrying.
A shuddering exhale of breath escape past her lips as she slowly moved away from the door. The wooden floor beneath her feet creaking just in time she heard faint footsteps outside, accompanied by the loud music being played downstairs to the living room.
~Everybody loves somebody sometime
Everybody falls in love somehow~
Y/N swallowed thickly as she felt herself slowly weakening. Her blood was tickling down until it reached the end of her fingertips, leaving trails of blood on the floor.
She knew she wouldn't make it out alive. They wouldn't let her live, but Y/N refused to die without giving a fight. Even if she already knows her fate, she wanted to be strong just for the last time. This game of hide and seek they have been playing had already have its winner.
~Something in your kiss just told me
That sometime is now~
Y/N was not stupid enough to know this.
She stood no chance against them, but she wanted to give it a try.
Her eyes then slowly cascade to her bleeding arm.
She was losing too much blood.
"I can smell your delicious blood our little rabbit."
The alluring voice echoed outside the dark hallway making her shiver in fear. Y/N gripped the flashlight in her hand as she continued to back away until her back was pressed up against the wall.
She swallowed the lump in her throat.
"Everybody finds somebody someplace...there's no telling where love may appear."
The familiar voice sang the song that was being played in the faint background, it was soothing to her ears yet venomous at the same time.
How could they do this to her? How could they? Y/N treated them like her own sisters, she even loved one of them. How could she betray her just like that? She trusted her, she gave her trust to the siblings.
~Everybody loves somebody sometime
And though my dreams were overdue
Your love made it all worth waiting
For someone like you~
The faint music in the background made her heart clench for it reminded her of someone. She didn't notice the tears falling from her eyes while sobbing quietly, she couldn't believe she will die like this.
Out of nowhere, three tentative delicate knock brought her back to the reality she was in.
Y/N's body tensed up once the door creaked open, revealing those slender fingers with black polished nails until the door was widely open before her.
Her breath hitched, her body quivered as if it was the only thing she could do.
There before her standing was a beautiful young woman smirking in her direction. Y/N watched as those elegant feet took small steps inside the dark room, invading her temporary safe haven. Her long shiny hair, it was a perfect color of platinum blonde and her dress looked like it was made from the feathers of crows.
The other girl bit her lip as she raked her eyes over her body.
"R-Rosie..." Y/N muttered quietly as her eyes intently watch her every move, she was looking at her like she was her prey, "W-why are you guys doing this? W-Where's Jennie?"
"Aww you're sweet you remembered my nickname." Rosé giggled looking everywhere but Y/N, "And you are still thinking about her even though she betrayed you?" The other girl shook her head before letting out a soft chuckle; she then let out a fake gasp as her hand went to cover her lips, "Oh dear you ruined your suit." She frowned, "You shouldn't have ruined that, you look handsome and beautiful in that attire."
Y/N ignored the rest of what she was saying instead her mind couldn't stop thinking about Jennie.
Hearing such a statement from Rosé telling that Jennie betrayed her threatened to pull her heart apart once more. She clenched her hands unknowingly.
"T-This is ridiculous." Y/N equipped while swallowing hard; her throat felt like desert, "I-I trusted all of you...and now you are going to kill me."
"Not yet dear." Rosé smiled, showcasing her perfectly set of teeth and in instant it faltered - now replaced by menacing smirk.
A gasp left past Y/N's mouth when suddenly like a gust of wind, Rosé disappeared from where she was standing only to come face to face in front of Y/N; her hand then went down to grip her bleeding arm.
Rosé watched in pleasure as Y/N's face shift into an agonizing torment while she slowly brought up her arm to inhale the scent of blood that was trailing down on her fingertips, she licks her lips.
"You smell amazing." She whispered in the most sensual way while leaning in closer to the other girl's ear, purposely letting her tongue glide across the shell of Y/N's ear, "No wonder why Jennie's gone insane about you."
Y/N clenched her jaw hard enough that she could hear her teeth grinding. She watched with her eyes widening as Rosé pulled away from her only to graze her velvet tongue through her clothed gash, eyes fluttering close.
Fighting back the pain, Y/N, seeing the distracted look upon Rosé's face took this as her opportunity to escape. Without thinking properly, she brought up her other hand and forcefully smashed the flashlight right into the blonde's head only to feel her heart stopped when it didn't budge her, she ended up gaping at her.
Rosé let out a disappointed sigh before letting go of her arm.
She opened her eyes and gave her the most threatening glare that made Y/N's blood run cold.
"You are a bad girl." She let out a laugh before shaking her head, eyes focusing on Y/N again, "And bad girls needs to be punished."
And with that, Y/N choked on air when Rosé's hand came to squeeze her throat before throwing her body outside the guest room.
Her entire body smashed against the wall; almost destroying everything around her because of how much strength Rosé used to throw her like she was nothing.
Y/N breathed in heavily as she felt her body fall to the ground, her back was severely injured now, she could sense it.
Another footsteps approached next to her and the next thing Y/N heard was Lisa's voice.
"Really Rosie? Throwing our guest like a piece of shit?"
Y/N couldn't hear them properly anymore as her vision began to blur. Her head was pounding painfully and her back probably had some bruises by now.
She closed her eyes for a while and felt Lisa lifting her off the ground while she argued with Rosé and they brought Y/N to the living room where Jisoo was waiting.
Y/N wanted to open her eyes and clearly see what was happening around her. As they finally got into the living room, the lights from the ceiling greeted her face making her groan in response.
Lisa throws her body on the couch while Y/N laid there limply. Though through her eyes, she caught the sight of Jisoo sitting elegantly on a plastered silky velvet couch while gazing upon her. Next to her feet was someone in particular that she dearly cared about.
"Don't touch her!"
"Shut up."
Y/N slowly sat up while letting out a groan. Her entire body was aching, she could die any minute now. She squinted her eyes, trying to get a clear view of her surroundings but because of the deep gash on her arm, and the way Rosé threw her from the other side turned her frail.
Her skin and lips began to look pale.
Y/N rests her head against the soft cushion while her eyes are fluttering close. She could only listen and do nothing.
"You should give me one valid reason to let her live."
"She don't deserve to live anymore Jisoo."
"SHUT UP ROSÉ! DON'T TOUCH HER!"
"You brought her here Jennie. That could only mean she's ours now."
"She's mine! She's not for you or Jisoo even Rosé! I didn't bring her here to consume her blood! She's important to me so step away or else - "
"Or else what?" Lisa quipped before letting out a dry laugh, "You're weak Jennie, you're not like any of us. You're a disgrace in this family. Animal blood will serve you no good." Lisa growled before she turned to face Y/N.
She walked around the couch and stood behind Y/N's head.
Grabbing her hair as she tilted the latter's head slightly to the side, she gave Jennie a smirk.
"One last death kiss and one last goodbye before we devour her blood." Lisa leaned in closer to the other girl's neck, giving it a gentle kiss.
When Jennie attempted to stand up and launched forward to Lisa, Rosé grabbed Jennie's arm and pushed her down the ground, breaking the floor with effortless force.
Jennie let out growl before her eyes slowly went wide seeing Lisa's teeth are ready to sink into her lover's neck.
"No! Please no!"
"J-Jennie..."
Y/N reached out for her hand, but it was too late.
Lisa had already inflicted her teeth beneath the layer of her skin as her eyes turned blood red.

Do You Believe In Life After Love? PT. 1
Arkham Knight!Jason Todd x Reader One-Shot
Word Count: 2.4 Warnings: Angst, Mentions of Violence and Death
Author's Note: I have edited this story so it's nicer. Love me for this, please because I fought the cringe for y'all. Enjoy! -Thorne
Gotham looked bleak in the wake of the militia’s arrival. Even the thugs that were rioting in the street seemed to avoid the armored tanks and patrols as they passed, and GCPD had withdrawn most of their officers to stay at the precinct. He’d never claim he couldn’t do it on his own. He had to keep going. He had to save Gotham. He had to—
“You know, it wouldn’t kill you to ask for help once in a while.” He didn’t have to look over his shoulder to know who was speaking. She walked up beside him, leaning on the ledge he was perched on.
He didn’t look at her when he spoke, his eyes still trained on the city before him. “You should still be resting. Your ribs aren’t fully healed yet.”
She chuckled and turned, looking out at the spotlights shining. “They’re healed enough.” She side-eyed him. “Besides, this is becoming a lot more than you can handle.”
He shook his head. “It’s fine. I can handle thi—” He looked down when he felt a hand curl around his wrist, then he looked back up, seeing the solemn stare in her gaze.
“Dad. You almost died at the ACE plant,” she interjected with a shake of her head. “We’ve got this ‘Arkham Knight’ teaming up with Scarecrow, and you’ve got Tim locked in the theater synthesizing a cure.” She squeezed his wrist lightly.
“Ican handle the smaller things, while you handle the militia and Scarecrow.”
He stared at his daughter for a moment, wanting to argue, but he knew it was pointless. Finally, he nodded, pulling away and pushing a few buttons on his wrist screen. “I need someone to help Dick with Penguin, and I need to handle the Man-Bat flying around.”
She nodded as she glanced at her screen, taking in the information he’d sent. “Do you know where it came from?”
“The DNA matches that of Doctor Kirk Langstrom,” he said. “He owns a lab on Bleake Island. Here’s the coordinates.”
Humming, she slid a wave-marker into the cowl’s visor to give her direction before stepping up on the ledge. “I’ll go to the lab, then help out Dick.” He stared at her as she turned to face him, her feet nearing the edge. “Be careful, dad…I don’t want to lose you.” She didn’t give him time to respond, falling backwards over the ledge.
A few seconds later, she was gliding through the sky; a faint smile came to his lips as he watched her, then he turned, heading in the direction of the other island.
***
When she finally found the lab, she was alarmed to see what had happened. Her eyes focused on the screen, replaying the last moments of the experiment, then she put a finger to her ear. “Dad? Can you hear me?”
A few moments later, his voice came over the line. “What happened at the lab?”
She grimaced as she looked at the body of Francine Langstrom. “Apparently Langstrom was trying to find a cure to his deafness by mixing in vampire bat DNA with his. Something went horribly wrong, and he mutated into the giant bat thingy flying around Gotham.” She paused, her voice mournful. “His wife’s dead.”
There was a slight pause from her father then he murmured, “Can you get to a computer to synthesize a cure?”
She glanced around, trying to find a working computer amongst the shattered screens. When she found one, she moved to it, typing away at it.
After a few moments, she pulled the cure out and put it into the injector she carried. “Alright. I’ve got the cure. Do you know where he is?”
“He’s on Bleake now. Find him in the skies.”
She nodded, moving to the door. “Will do.”
***
When she arrived back in the city, she climbed up the clocktower and waited. Once she saw him darting across the sky in a hulking mass of gray flesh and black talons, she acted, kicking off the ledge to glide across the sky until she was above him; she dove, tackling him to the ground and injecting him, but he fought her, viciously slicing at her with his claws until she rolled away. He screeched at her and flew off.
She grunted as she clambered to her feet, dusting off the dirt they’d rolled in and a voice came over the comm. “Did you find him?”
A huff escaped her, and she explained, “I did…but he wrestled with me and took off the second I injected him.” She looked down at the injector, still holding the remaining cure. “We’re gonna have to go another round.”
“Watch the skies then. In the meantime, go find Dick. He’s somewhere on Miagani.”
She took a moment to catch her breath before pulling out her grapple and aiming it towards the roof of an adjacent building. “Alright. Will do.”
The crinkle of her father’s communicator faded out and she pulled the trigger, letting her body go weightless as she shot up towards the ledge. Holstering the grapple gun, she climbed over the ledge and paused, glancing down at her screen as she stood on the roof. A few moments had passed, and she looked at the city, seeing the chaos that had enveloped it within the few hours that had gone by. Riots littered the boulevards and the militia had begun putting mines in the roads as they started barricading the avenues and main streets. Something akin to hopelessness rose in her chest, but she shoved it down, reminding herself that with her, Dick, Tim, and her dad, they could save Gotham. It was just going to take some more time.
“Are you thinking about how Batman let the city go to hell?”
She couldn’t fight the gasp that escaped her as she spun around, taking in the image of the Arkham Knight before her. His stance was nonthreatening, in fact it was almost curious, but she stood on her guard anyway, her voice and eyes cold.
“There’s only two people to blame for this city going to hell. Scarecrow…” She pointed at him, her voice frosty. “And you.” He gave her no reaction, other than taking a step towards her, heavy metaled boot making a thump against the concrete roof.
Reaching down, she pulled the Ka-Bar from her thigh and warned, “I’d be careful how close you come, pal. I’m one person you don’t wanna tango with.”
He stopped and stared at her. “Look around you, Batgirl. This is what Gotham City truly is. Chaotic and beyond saving.”
She tipped her head back, her tone becoming challenging. “Is that what you’ve been conditioned to believe? Or did Scarecrow just feed you something to change your mind.”
That seemed to irritate him because he snapped harshly, “You have no idea what I’ve been conditioned to believe.”
“I know you’ve got a petty grudge against Batman, and you believe that inciting chaos amongst people is the best way to deal with it.”
His anger seemed to cool as his voice turned to ice, and she almost shivered at how the temperature seemed to chill around them a few degrees. “My grudge with Batman is more than petty.” He pointed at her, the holographs on his mask shifting with every word. “He deserves to die.”
She flipped the knife into the air and caught it, raising it defensively as she reached out with the other out and beckoned him. “You want Batman?” she challenged. “Then you come through me.”
The Arkham Knight didn’t move until she jerked forward, stabbing out with the knife. He dodged her easily enough, sliding beside her and she twisted, following him with a well-rounded kick aimed for his torso. Instead of evading, he grabbed her foot and yanked her. Hard. Her breath caught in her throat as she was hauled forward and cursing inwardly, she brought the knife down, hoping to catch him as she fell. His gauntleted hand shot out and caught hers, and when she reached out with the other, he caught it too. Not wasting any time, he kicked her feet out from beneath her and dropped them to the ground, putting all his weight onto her hips to stop her from moving as he slammed her hands beside her head against the rooftop.
Her eyes widened in shock at how quickly everything had happened. No one had ever been able to take her down that fast, and the reality that she might meet her end caught up with her. She began to squirm, trying to rise up enough to catch him with a shoulder but with her wrists in his grip it wasn’t likely, and with all his weight on her legs, she couldn’t kick out or try to flip him off.
“Stop moving,” he suddenly commanded, but it didn’t sound as harsh as his earlier words.
She glared at him and spat, “You wanna kill me, go ahead. But he’s still gonna take you down.”
There was a pause, then he shifted her hands until he held them both in one hand, and he reached towards her face. She reacted like anyone would subdued by an enemy, emitting a warning in her throat as she tried to avoid the oncoming touch. When his hand came into contact with her cheek, she flinched at the chill of the titanium, but his touch was…kind and gentle.
“I’m not going to kill you, (Y/N),” he promised softly. “The last thing I’d ever want to do is hurt you.”
She stilled at the mention of her name, shock etching across her features. His fingers brushed her cheek once more, this time a loving caress, his thumb brushing over her lips.
“How…how do you know my name?” (Y/N) questioned and his hand halted, then he reached up and pressed a button below his jaw.
She watched the mask rise and when his face came into view, she felt her heart stop and she blinked, breathing, “…Jason?”
At the mention of his name and the recognition, he let go of her hands and reached down, removing the gloves from his hands. He reached back down to cup her cheeks, thumbs stroking over her cheekbones then to her eyebrows, like he was trying to remember how her skin felt underneath his calloused hands.
She could see the long-withheld emotions fighting inside him as choked, “God, I’ve wanted to see you for so long.” His hands felt warm against her face, and she reached up to touch him, but stopped as she saw the “J” burned onto his face. He must’ve realized she was staring at it, because he pulled one of his hands away and covered it, muttering, “The Joker…he did it.”
Whatever reaction he was expecting, anger, fury, disgust, it wasn’t the one she gave him, as she let out a sob and jerked forward, wrapping her arms around his neck. His entire body went rigid, then slowly, his arms wound around her waist, pulling her to him until there was no space between them, and even then, he tried to pull her closer, squeezing with all his strength. She began to shake in his arms, and he quietly shushed her.
After a few moments, she pulled back and took off her cowl, staring at him with red-rimmed eyes; she swallowed thickly before murmuring, “…We thought you were dead, Jason.”
His expression turned dark as he muttered, “Joker kept me locked in the asylum all that time.”
(Y/N) had no idea what to say. What could she? She figured she could apologize for not looking in the asylum. Or that she failed him. Instead, she said nothing and took his face in her hands, pressing her forehead to his. He shut his eyes and a shuddering breath left him as he gently grasped her forearms, trying to ground himself. Some time had passed before he pulled away and helped her to her feet. (Y/N) stared into the eyes of her lover and readied herself for what she was about to say.
She took a deep breath and bent over, picking up the knife to put it back in its sheath. “I…I can’t even begin to imagine what happened to you, Jason,” she said as she gazed at him. “And I’m sorry it did…I’m sorry I didn’t try harder to find you.”
Grasping the cowl, she pulled it back on then clenched her jaw and said, “You can go this time…but if I see you again…I will stop you.”
His eyes widened in shock for a split second, then they narrowed, and he tipped his head up, questioning, “So, this is how it’s going to be?”
She nodded despite the grief welling in her chest. “This is how it has to be.” (Y/N) explained as she turned away from him. “You’re trying to kill my dad and destroy Gotham…I can’t let you do that.”
“You don’t care that he left me to die?”
She spun back around, her voice wrought with disbelief and resentment of the accusation. “That’s not what happened, and you know it!” she condemned. “You turned you comm and tracker off then went off on your own! We searched everywhere for you! None of us let you die!” She reached out and curled her fingers in the straps at his side. “We saw you die Jason! I watched my father fall into the deepest pit of depression I’ve ever witnessed!”
She let him go, her hands falling limply to her sides. “Don’t you dare say that he didn’t care that you died…it haunts him.” (Y/N)’s eyes met his and she lamented, “It haunts me.” He said nothing, and she shook her head, turning back around. “I don’t know what you expected from me. To help you destroy Gotham? To kill my father and everything he stands for?”
She paused, then admitted, “I love you, Jason. More than anything…but you’re dead wrong if you think I’d be on your side with this.”
The sound of mechanized armor echoed in her ears and his sarcastic laugh turned robotic as he ridiculed, “Guess there is life after love, huh?”
(Y/N) gave him no response, and a moment later, she was standing alone on the rooftop. A feeling of overwhelming numbness seeping out from her heart to her limbs as her lungs began to tighten.
“Yes…I guess there is.”
