gai just wants to kiss everyone

who knows if I'm ever going to write this fic so here’s a rough and tumble first draft snippet from my “series of firsts” fic. Part one is Gai and Genma’s first kiss (225 words). Part two is Gai and Kakashi’s first kiss (375 words). Neither are dating at the time, it’s all teen party shenanigans. All wholesome, comedy heavy, no spice.

This first bit take place at a group celebration for Gai and some of the others passing the Chunin exams. (You can use whatever age HCs you want, for me Gai is 11 and Genma is 13.)

Gai: Someone dare me to kiss everyone here!

Rin and Genma: *split into peals of laughter*

Kakashi: that’s not how the game works. You can’t request your own dare, Gai.

Ebisu: besides, it’s not your turn anyway.

Gai: I know *dejected* I just want to do all the dares!

Raido: don’t worry you’ll get your fair share

Ebisu: now, Asuma, truth or dare?

Asuma: …truth

Anko: boring!!!

Rin: hey, don’t be rude!

Ebisu: Is the Hokage really your dad?

Asuma: yes.

Kurenai: we know that already.

Obito: you should have dared him to prove it.

This second bit takes place at another party, Kakashi has just made Jonin and others have just ranked up to Chunin. (Again, choose ur own age HCs, for me Gai is 13 and Kakashi is 11.)

Genma: Gai… I dare you… to kiss everyone here!

Gai: YES!!!

Everyone: *mixed reactions*

     Anko, Rin, Ebisu, Asuma: *laughing hysterically*

Obito: *looks away, bright red* the cheek

Kakashi: *mumbles* coward

Rin: don’t be mean!

*Obito turns his head to yell at kk, ends up kissing gai on the lips*

Obito: aaah!

Gai: I AM SO SORRY! I should not have closed my eyes so soon!

*Genma falls into Ebisu, cackling*

Obito: ItsOkayJustMoveOnAlready …please…

Izumo: *bashful* cheek please

A scroll on his lap and a bottle of umeshu next to him, he sat under a pine and watched the fog roll on in. Orochimaru's mind rebels at stagnation and there hadn't been much going on as of late.

What are some cozy headcanons you have for your favorite characters?

Cosy HC's? Hmmm lets see.... well since I'm in a Naruto phase rn I'll focus on my faves from that sooooo

Shikamaru: Elite blanket fort builder, constantly falls asleep under the kotatsu, secretly a really big cuddler who will moan "nooooooo" when you have to get out of bed in the morning, Ino gets him to do her hair for her because it's soothing and his own daughter + Temari follow suit

Hinata: She has so many plushies. All of the plushies. She sees a plush animal she is buying it. They all have names and personalities and backstories. Her room has so many plushies you wonder if there's any actual furniture [there is but it's buried under the plushies]

Temari: All her fans are homemade and have a wide of variety of painted designs! Some are decorative, some are for battle and others are small handfans. You can tell how much she likes you by how well made the fan she gives you is + what design it has. She can gush about all her little choices for ages

Deidara: He would rather die than admit to this but sometimes he makes clay figures just to have them act out stories for him. Like a puppet show but Better [in his opinion]

Kakashi: Shares his bed with his dogs you will not believe the kind of positions he gets into at night to make the dogs comfortable in his sleep. If you put him into a pen with puppies he will cry. Immediately. Always worrying about his friends' eating habits, so Anko's dango obsession and Kotetsu eating straight syrup makes him scream in despair

hc + 🌇 for a headcanon about morning- or evening rituals

Every morning I make the bed, with or without Kotetsu still sleeping in it. Then I get dressed, brush my teeth for 20 seconds, floss between each tooth three times, comb my hair three times over, then go to the kitchen, where I usually have to rearrange the cabinets because everything has to be stacked in rows of three. Don’t ask why, it just does. Then I make breakfast, or Kotetsu does, depending on who’s up, and the two of us eat together when we’re not on opposite shifts. Then when it’s my turn to clean the dishes, I scrub each side of every dish three times to make sure they’re spotless. After that, I dry them each three times to make sure there’s no water left in the bottom. Then I put them back in the cabinets where they sit in stacks of three.

As for the evening, Kotetsu and I usually make dinner together after work when we’re on similar schedules, then I clean the dishes like before. Before bed, I set out my clothes for the next morning. Then I take a shower for exactly 20 minutes, washing myself three times over. If I’m washing my hair, too, I’ll scrub my whole scalp three times just to make sure it’s all clean. After the shower, I brush my teeth again for 20 seconds, floss between each tooth three times, then I get into my pjs and crawl into bed with Kotetsu.

And there you have it folks, my morning and evening rituals.

1. Kanao/Genya (GenKana): Ship

A) What made you ship it?:

There are many reasons, the fact that Genya gets nervous in front of girls makes me feel and give the impression that he would be very respectful and that he would treat her with respect.

Now, considering that they are both friends with Tanjiro, this could have been their "cupid" and would have made them take an initiative about their friendship.

In addition, both had family problems (Genya due to his abusive father, while Kanao due to her parents and her family issues), which could have been a topic of conversation and that reached a middle point and both would show how home one has taken their traumas.

Even if we realize, Kanao can't make decisions and Genya can't use breaths, and despite this, they both found a way to "deal" with that problem. In short, it is a nice ship and I would go on too long.

B) What are you favorite things about the ship?:

My HC is that Genya is bad at expressing words and often insults, plus he gets nervous when talking to girls and would probably be frustrated by not being able to talk to Kanao and would be insulting himself as well.

Therefore, he always gives something to Kanao and writes on it what he wants to say, something that makes Kanao's eyes shine and they both simply cannot speak because their faces are red with embarrassment.

C) Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?:

Mmmmm, it's not that popular a ship, therefore, there aren't that many bad opinions about this ship. The few people who know this ship seem to like it, so... Idk...

2) Muichiro/Nezuko (MuiNezu): Ship

A) What made you ship it?:

First of all, they are both the same age and they had a small moment of acquaintance in the Blacksmith Village Arc, and Muichiro is aware that in a part of his mind he has seen Nezuko at some point, although he hasn't remembers it completely.

Secondly, thanks to Muichiro's ancestor, he helped the Kamado descendants remain intact, so there is a close relationship between their ancestors.

I know that Muichiro is not someone who initially seems likeable because of how he treated Tanjiro by throwing a rock at him because he interrupted the boss, because he treated Kotetsu badly and knocked him out, or that he enjoyed making fun of Gyokko, but then you realize that Muichiro is just a kid who He lived for a long time and did not find a way to deal with his emotions and only acted that way because he acquired his brother's behavior.

Muichiro has childish activities and tastes, tastes that Nezuko could have since they both enjoy games, plus Muichiro seemed to care about how Nezuko was when she spoke for the last time with Tanjiro in the episode (before the secret of the Taisho era), so, I like it because it is a ship that has cute fanarts and because I like to think about how innocent the relationships between two children are.

B) What are you favorite things about the ship?:

Most of the fanarts that I have seen of these two show them as a couple, whether friendly or romantic, calm, who enjoys normal things like going for a walk to the fair, eating together, doing work together or hanging out with their friends together.

C) Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?:

I think the most popular opinion with which people try to put this ship down is because Muichiro and Nezuko are "cousins".

First, Michikatsu and Yoriichi are Muichiro's ancestors, the fact that Yoriichi saved Sumiyoshi Kamado does not mean that they are cousins, there has only been a friendship between the two, therefore, they are neither distant nor close cousins, stop with that opinion of doing less to the ship with that nonsensical argument, please

A) What made you ship it?:

I like the theme of how these two don't have a good interaction because they don't know each other properly but when they meet, everything changes.

Tanjiro was important in making Muichiro see the importance of also seeing for others and for part of the fog in his head to disappear, this act being rewarded when Muichiro throws the katana at Tanjiro so that he complies with defeating Hantengu and saying who trusts him for that mission.

And did you see how lively and curious Tanjiro was in knowing what Tokito liked? It's so nice that they did that competition together and that he managed to relax after a hard training session.

B) What are you favorite things about the ship?:

Mmmm, I've seen a lot of fanarts that unfortunately aren't as cute as the MuiNezu ones... So I guess they would be people's HC's regarding the ship, I've seen some very cute ones but I don't remember as much what they were talking about, I wish know more about this ship because it is very cute and I would not want it to be part of the toxic ships of the KNY community

But what I like the most is their dynamic, they are both cute and they get along quite well.

C) Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?:

The same as the MuiNezu, everyone thinks they are cousins ​​and other things. Although what upsets me the most is that the fandom thinks it's okay to make both of them NSFW, that's wrong.

4) Rengoku/Mitsuri (RenMitsu):Ship

A) What made you ship it?:

Well, I like to think of this more as a brother and sister relationship, but I also like to pair them both romantically.

I like to believe that Rengoku was surprised by Mitsuri's determination to continue with the training even though it was "torture" and that's why she was Rengoku's only tsuguko, plus it's canon that they shared meals together.

When Rengoku died, she was the only one who showed the mood to cry and probably did so because she had lost her mentor at that time, so it is clear that they both appreciated each other.

B) What are you favorite things about the ship?:

I don't know if you have read a manga that shows more interaction between Rengoku and Mitsuri, plus Mitsuri's haori originally belonged to Kyojuro and he gave it to him as a gift for her entry into the demon slayer guild.

We are also shown the concern of both when the mission ends when they realize the other's injuries, which indicates the affection they have for each other.

C) Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?:

Hmmm, I haven't seen a bad opinion about this ship honestly, apparently because people don't ship them but rather represent them as an older brother and a younger sister, so I don't have an unpopular opinion about this ship.

5) Kokushibo/Nakime (KokuNaki): Ship

A) What made you ship it?:

Well, I guess the first time I encountered the ship was when it was on Pinterest, but at that time I didn't recognize the difference between ship and friendship, so I just liked it. I like to think that both of them are quite close since they are Muzan's right hand man and they may have been summoned at the same time and while Muzan was carrying out his activities, they exchanged a few words waiting for the next order. Besides, it is nice to think that Kokushibo, since he is calm, serene and likes calm, enjoys enjoying the melody of Nakime's biwa

B) What are you favorite things about the ship?:

I suppose that they are only the HC's of an artist that I follow and that her main content focuses on the KokuNaki ship, I really like how she draws them and the HC's that she has given them as a couple

C) Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?:

I think the only controversy the ship has is that many believe that Nakime is Haruhime, Michikatsu's wife. But it would be uncertain since they are both from different eras and the age difference is enormous, so it would be impossible.

Posting some of my HCs for my Demon Slayer/ Kimetsu No Yaiba - Original Character because I have a lot of ideas about her but not enough to write a full-fledged story, so here goes:

Shinju Kageura is technically not a Hashira, but people keep calling her the “Metal Hashira" because she’s a total legend.

Why? Maybe it’s her homemade breathing technique (Metal Breathing) that she discovered because apparently, just following existing techniques was too mainstream.

Her weapon of choice? A bow. Like she’s in some ancient myth. And yeah, she’ll outshoot anyone with it.

Shinju is the leader of the Auxiliary Alliance, Demon Slayer HQ’s support division, and she runs it with such efficiency that it feels illegal.

Oh, and she has a motorcycle. Don’t ask how she got it. She says it’s “a necessity,” and honestly, no one dares question her.

Once, she told Kotetsu she tamed the motorcycle by defeating a demon that had possessed it. Kotetsu actually believed her.

Suma? Yeah, that Suma—Tengen Uzui’s wife? Shinju’s her older sister. And Tengen? He’s her childhood frenemy.

At 13, Shinju shot an arrow near Suma because she thought a demon was nearby. Spoiler alert: it was just 12-year-old Tengen.

Tengen’s reaction? Immediate dramatics: “How dare you try to assassinate the future God of Festivals!?”

Fast forward to adulthood: Shinju somehow ended up married to Hotaru Haganezuka. Yes, the swordsmith with anger issues.

Why? Because their families wouldn’t stop nagging them to “settle down,” and this was the easiest solution.

They immediately became the most sarcastic couple ever.

Hotaru: “This is the worst idea either of us has ever had.”

Shinju: “Darling? Surely, it's not worse than the time you tried to stab Tanjiro for breaking a sword?”

They’re not in love! They just live on opposite sides of their house and only communicate through snark.

Funny thing is, the entire Demon Slayer Corps thinks they’re the most romantic couple ever because they use each other’s names as excuses to avoid social obligations.

Shinju: “Can’t go to that meeting, I promised Hotaru I’d help sharpen some blades.”

Hotaru: “Sorry, can’t talk right now. Shinju needs me to fix her motorcycle again because she treats it like a training dummy.”

In reality? They haven’t shared a meal in weeks, and Shinju is 100% fine with that.

Shinju has a terrible sense of humor. Her favorite joke: “I don’t want to have sexual relations with anyone, now or in the future. I am also the best marksman in the Corps. I’m an ace.”

No one laughs. No one.

Despite being a walking sarcasm machine, Shinju is surprisingly good with kids.

She practically raised Kotetsu during her Auxiliary Alliance days and somehow managed to get him to stop poking everything with sharp objects. (Well...mostly.)

Muichiro? The kid barely remembers his own name, but Shinju makes sure he eats properly and doesn’t wander off cliffs.

Shinju once asked Rengoku for help on a stakeout. Rengoku misheard it as steak house and showed up VERY excited.

They didn’t realize the misunderstanding until they were at the mission location, staring down a demon's lair.

Rengoku: “GREETINGS, SHINJU! WHERE'S THE DELICIOUS STEAK THAT WAS PROMISED!?”

Shinju: “…The what now?”

They killed the demons, and Shinju took him to an actual steak house afterward as a reward.

She later told this story at Rengoku’s memorial, and everyone laughed—even Giyuu smiled a little.

When Inosuke tried to fight her motorcycle, she fired an arrow at his feet and said, “Touch it again, and you’ll be dinner.” He believed her.

Yes, Shinju is terrifying on the battlefield. Precise. Calculated. Efficient.

During the final battle with Muzan, she got the Demon Slayer Mark. She knew what it meant—only a few years left to live—but didn’t tell anyone.

Instead, she quietly returned home, donated her belongings under the guise of “decluttering,” and spent time with the people she loved.

She made sure Suma, Tengen, and Kotetsu were all taken care of. Hotaru kept her motorcycle running, even after she passed, saying it was “good practice.”

Shinju died at 25, leaving behind a legacy of sharp arrows, sharper wit, and memories that made people laugh even through their tears.

The remnants of the Demon Slayer Corps still talk about her: the sarcastic archer with a motorcycle, a bow, and a heart no one expected to be so big.
