Sharing a super easy tomato soup recipe! It is soup season after all.
All you need is:
1 jar of tomato sauce, preferably something a little more complex than plain sauce. I go for Prego’s roasted garlic and herb, usually
3/4 cup of broth of your choosing. I do love vegetable broth with it, and
1/2 cup of heavy cream (yes, I am lactose intolerant, but Country Crock has a delicious and almost dairy-tasting cream substitute)
Instructions
Mix in a pot till combined.
Mix every once in a while till bubbling.
Serve and enjoy!
Now, if all you have is plain marinara, do not despair!
Here are the spices I add:
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of pepper
A hint of basil
For me these look a bit intimidating just sitting on top of the soup to be when you measure them out and pour them in, but trust me, they mix in very nicely.
This will make 2 servings. Doubling the recipe to serve others will work fine too!
Enjoy, and stay warm!

SEAFOOD CREOLE GUMBO A CUSTOM HOMESTYLE RECIPE
Gumbo is a kind of soup which is most popular in Louisiana, USA. In fact, it's Louisiana's official dish. The soup is made with a roux, strong stock, meat or shellfish, a thickener, and finally celery (which unfortunately the sims doesn't have), bell peppers, and onions, other veg can be added but these are the main three. It's a filling dish for your sims to enjoy.
It has all three sizes (8 servings, 4 servings and single serving)
Lactose Free!
Please don’t re-upload as your own!
Optional EA onion and garlic, Icemunmun okra and black pepper, BrazenLotus red pepper and cayenne ingredients (food can still be cooked without)
This food item REQURES the latest version of my food enabler object.

I struggle getting myself fed due to a combination of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and chronic pain. I cannot exaggerate what a fucking life saver my cheap, simple rice cooker has been. I think my rice cooker is six cups, so this won't work in a two or four cup one. I got my Oster one from Target, off sale it was $25, I think right now it's on sale for $15.
(FYI I googled "Oster zionist" and nothing came back connecting the two.)
I don't know more beyond the one simple recipe I use for it, but it's been emergency food multiple times the past few months. It's for coconut jasmine rice.
As someone who doesn't like coconut, I love this recipe.
Ingredients:
Jasmine Rice - 2 rice cups
CANNED Unsweetened Coconut Milk (possibly in the Asian foods section), about 13.5 ounces
1 Teaspoon of Salt
1 Teaspoon of Sugar (I think I use some sort of sugar substitute and it works fine)
1 1/4-1 1/2 normal cups of water
You will need one of those wire mesh strainer things (pictured), a can opener and a rice cooker, of course.
Tumblr media
Steps:
1. Measure out two cups of rice into the strainer, then thoroughly wash rice until the liquid is clear. It doesn't take too long and I promise this is the most laborous part. When done washing, put the rice into the cooker.
2. Pour your water, coconut milk, salt and sugar into the rice cooker. Stir.
3. Hit start, wait for it to cook. Give it 10-15 minutes when finished cooking. Open it, stir it, if it's too wet for you, press cook again. My rice cooker just does an additional 3 minutes on its own when I press start, it doesn't do the whole time over again. Press start again if it needs additional time after that.
That's it! Feel free to eat it with some other stuff. Stir fry some frozen veggies to add in if you like. Eat it with your favorite style of cooked egg or some other protein.
I hope this can help someone like it helped me.
I also just learned how to make meatballs and it was shockingly easy and unstressful, so anyone would like me to talk you through that as well, I can. Fun fact: there are gluten free bread crumbs, so meatballs can be gluten free (if you don't want to use just egg). I also have my Bolognese cheat on here too...somewhere.

What is a Plant-Based diet?
This blog is about my journey and experiences cooking and eating healthy food with my family.
I’m a passionate cook and I aim to take the mystery out of what a plant based diet means. If you are interested I'd like to show you how to do it too.
The Plant Based diet is made up of a variety of grains such as oats, barley, quinoa, bulgar wheat, buckwheat, and rice, legumes such as peas, beans, and lentils, vegetables, fruit, dairy-free versions of milk, cheese and yoghurt, pasta, bread, nuts, seeds and much more.
I would also like to mention the benefits I have experienced are a noticeable increase in energy levels and all round well-being since committing to eating this way. *Please enter a little disclaimer here about how I can't promise everyone will feel this way.
We simply need to know what to look out for and where, plan ahead and ensure we are reaching our nutritional needs. This goes for any food based plan we follow. It doesn't take long to source all your favourite ingredients based on price, availability and personal choices. We are creatures of habit and usually settle on a series of dishes we enjoy that may vary throughout the seasons. I think of soups and stews more in the winter and lighter meals in the summer. It would be interesting for you to take a look in your kitchen cupboards and fridge right now to see what kind of variety you are currently eating.
The foods that I choose not to consume are ones that are made from or contain animal products. The "why" is not very important here as I feel everyone will have their own personal reasons for not consuming animal products. I focus on what we can eat instead of what we cannot.
