My name is Felicity and I've been using this app for like probably a year now but I've only posted here an there (mostly just reading fanfics on here)

Anyways I thought maybe I'd actually have something consistent in my life and what better platform to do it then on tumblr. So here I am.

so um an update on the story idea

so, based off of the feedback from my story idea (https://www.tumblr.com/leilasilveonne/725228782830698496/would-anyone-read-this?source=share), i'm going to start writing this! ill post snippets of chapters (or a whole thing if youre lucky!) here, and see how it goes. chapter one coming soon! (i hope).

Oh and by the way, I think i'll call it "What Lies Behind a Shadow". A decent name, don't you think?

First Official Post!

Hey I've been posting stuff for this irregularly on my other tumblr page, but I figured since that one isn't popular in the first place I'll lose nothing by putting this one out there!

Basically, I've been posting the first drafts of stories from what will eventually be known as "Blood Magic Anthology" to Substack for the past few months. I've realized I've done more than I thought, and have amassed quite a few stories indeed.

In an attempt to get more eyes on them, I've decided to do some social media type stuff to promote it. I'm not very good at this just yet but I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm terrified constantly of someone going through what I currently have and figuring out my IP address and blackmailing me so that's not very cool.

As for what kind of stories you'll find, a lot of them fall into the region of "dark fantasy" but they take place across an entire history of people. Characters rarely repeat between stories, though some stories are sometimes connected between each other. I just finished a series called "Blood Meal" for instance, which followed a specific event's outcome all the way through. I try to be funny sometimes, like with my fairly recent work, "Blood out of a Turnip", but a lot of them are kind of sad or violent in some way.

Obviously, big violence/gore warning. There's a bit of sex and I think I accidentally implied an SA scene one time, but usually not much. Please admire my emblems I spend time making them and such.

At present there's not a way to directly support me other than reading them and sharing, so please do that. It's my hope one day to get these collected and published physically somehow.

As for me, I'm going here by "Blood Blender" but I bet I accidentally put my real name somewhere. I blend all the blood into little stories for you guys. Outside of this I like to write (big surprise) other short stories, novels (though not recently), and screenplays.
