Hot Take: "Gay" and "Straight" should be on the Alignment Chart

Like, "Chaotic Gay" and "Chaotic Straight" are two very distinct things, right? Likewise "Gay Good" and "Straight Good".

This does imply the existence of outer planes with the Straight/Gay aligned trait inhabited by outsiders who are embodiment of Straightness/Gayness.

I think I’m gonna retract some things I’ve said before here.. or at least reassess them more softly.

I don’t like the word queer. I hate having it used to describe me and folk around me. It’s rooted in etymology meaning perverse/strange. That’s.. kinda bad all told.

But I can’t drag my feet on accepting how popular the blasted word is among fellow LGBT+ folk. I’m obviously not on the winning side for this one. Fuck, almost nobody cares about the etymology when they have been told.

And the other slurs? Fuck it. I would rather be using the amusingly apt descriptions of “a bundle of sticks” and “a ditch or watercourse” (faggot and dyke respectively) than trying to police what words my allies are using to describe themselves.

Removing regulatory barriers (explicitly a power of the executive) to SpaceX has a high chance of leading to significant achievements. As long as Musk and Trump stay broadly aligned in the public mind anything SpaceX accomplishes will accrue in part to Trump.

Also he may actually get Greenland this time, which has interesting implications for control of future trade routes.

Plus the semiquincentennial under Trump should be memorable.

Activist LGBT teachers encouraging students to transition and hiding the same from parents is objectively a thing that has happened. So is stuff like "Drag Queen Story Hour". Same with giving kids "sex education" material that was literally just porn.

Lady Gaga Natal Chart Analysis: Mother is an Alien

Gaga’s stage persona (10H) makes her seem like a Leo/big personality but I can see her having the more subtle warm energy of a Cancer Asc. She is always called Mother by her fans too lol. She disappears from the public eye when she’s not working and is incredibly private about her home and personal life, which reminds me of a Cancer ASC, but could also be her 4H and 8H energies. Vogue called her a “shape-shifter” and that aligns with the watery energy of Cancer.

Aswini is an innovator, focused on speed. Gaga's art and artist persona are incredibly wild, free-spirited, and boundary breaking. She has been subjected to crazy rumors and slander by the public because of her perception, especially in the more conservative landscape of her early career. 

Anuradha Saturn in her 5H

Anuradha is ruled by Saturn, and is the Star of Devotion. This placement explains her essentially religious devotion to her art, and hints at the likelihood of her having a strong legacy that continues after her death. 

Saturn in the 5H can indicated children later in life or adopted children.

Purva Bhadrapada MercuryR as her AK in 8H

This placement is incredibly interesting to me, because most artists AK is their Venus, especially one as famous as Gaga. Her Venus is actually her DK. Mercury AK is the messenger of the gods, tasked with divining wisdom and bringing it down to humanity. P.Bhadrapada is an extremely spiritual nak, and Gaga is very Aquarius: forward thinking and innovative. 8H influence is interesting because Gaga has said she hopes to be most known for her advocacy for the LGBT+ community, 8H deals with themes of sexuality and taboo and Aquarius is the humanitarian sign of forward social progress.

Gaga has also been a victim of sexual violence from a music producer, resulting in her having an abortion and psychotic break, all of which are 8H themes.

This might ruffle some feathers (or we might actually agree), but I think LGBT topics getting forced off of the fandom wiki site is good actually, so long as it results in new information pages being made elsewhere without fandom associations. Especially for aspec labels.

We had AVEN. We didn't need to treat our real-life identities like Hogwarts houses or alignment charts, we could have just made more sites like AVEN, or made a more inclusive site like AVEN.

I'm kinda pissed that the LGBT+ fandom pages went as far as they did-- it gives the impression that our identities are a phase, or a choice, or an interest, or even that the terms being used are being made up by kids, and not terms that have been used since the 80s or even before.

I wouldn't be surprised if pressure from people who agree with me is what drove Fandom to take the pages down. At the very least, I don't think they did it just because they're evil and hate queer people.

There's a serious conversation to be had about how we present information about the queer community to people who are learning about it for the first time. That goes for both queer people and allies. It matters, and using a fandom site to educate about serious topics that people tend not to take seriously is not a great look.

DO NOT USE FANDOM WIKIA

Not just because Fandom wiki is just straight up adware. But because they will happily take all your rights as a wiki owner away and give it to a corporation in the name of profits, like they did to the McDonald's wiki or y'know, completely destroy LGBTQ+ wikis on many identities (including removing nearly every aroacespec labels including demisexual, greyromantic, and many other labels, including many more I used!) all without the permission or consent of the admins of the wiki to "make LGBTQ+ identities easier to understand" and replaced the admins with their own chosen ones, of which iirc were very questionable in their behavior.

Fandom Wikia runs off a FREE open-source software known as MediaWiki, it's the same thing Wikipedia, Bulbapedia, and many others use.

This means that you can host your own wiki, or use any other wiki farm such as Miraheze, which is what the wiki I help run uses.

The best part about WikiMedia is that something made on one wiki can be cross-compatible with another. We often use and base our templates off of other wikis, and it makes it somewhat easier to transfer from FANDOM if necessary.

Stop FANDOM's monopoly over wikis, they'll stab you in the back as soon as it's a choice between the user or profits.
