(DOMESTIC) SANEGIYUU HEADCANONS

Sanemi is ALWAYS the one cooking

I’m sorry but I can only see Giyuu fucking up scrambled eggs or something. Sanemi cooks (or bakes) like a professional

Giyuu having a bedhead (he’s adorable) and Sanemi waking him up by either:

throwing a pillow on his face

running his hands through his hair and a “good morning, shithead”

One or the other, no in betweens

Sanemi usually does the chores like laundry, cooking, etc (malewife<33)

Giyuu can do things if given clear instructions tho

Hmm showering together just as a habit

If either of them were mad at the other (or they js fought) before bed, they’ll probably distance themself on the futon

When they wake up they’re always cuddling though

ouugh yes they share a bed

(it was so awkward at first like “ok… i’ll have this side” but then they got comfy and steal each other’s pillows (so romantic smh))

Sanemi definitely holds a longer grudge

Giyuu gets upset if he gets ignore too long, though, and Sanemi eventually caves

Why do I feel like Sanemi would just take pictures or videos of Giyuu randomly

When he’s asleep, when he’s just woken up, when he’s eating, doesn’t matter

Because Sanemi’s in charge of meals usually, Giyuu only gets salmon daikon once a week (which is already a lot as is, but he begs Sanemi for it so…)

Sanemi used to braid/put up his siblings hair a lot and when the two are cuddling, sometimes he makes little braids in Giyuu’s hair, or pulls it up in a high ponytail (often Giyuu wakes up with braids and his hair gets a lil wavy when he takes it out later)

Giyuu’s the baby in the relationship you cant change my mind. He’s the little spoon; he’s being carried because he’s tired; he’s given breakfast in bed.

Sanemi honestly doesn’t mind (he’s used to this) but likes teasing Giyuu about it

Giyuu has a bow of Tsutako’s (he stole a spare) and wears it to formal places always. (job interview? bow. prom? bow. work? bow.)

Sometimes Giyuu helps Sanemi hang up the laundry but they somehow end up hugging always (Giyuu goes on the other side of the clothing line and ThEIr lEgS juST mOVed By THemSElf)

On weekends, when there’s nothing to do, Sanemi will just scroll through his phone and Giyuu watching TV

Giyuu can NEVER not fall asleep during a movie though. depends on the day but he’ll either fall asleep 20 mins in or half way through

Sanemi doesn’t really watch movies and just slowly turns down the volume then off to not startle him awake

I can see Sanemi just volunteering to babysit for their friends (for free<3) and just having a box full of children’s toys for when they come over

Giyuu once overfed a baby to near sickness (“I thought her grabby hands were for more :(“ - “YOU IDIOT, SHE WAS TRYING TO PUSH AWAY THE BOTTLE!!”) and was thereafter forbidden to care for the children (unless they were older than, like, 12)

After a stressful day at work, Giyuu likes flopping down on the couch and having Sanemi run his hands through his hair and hum a bit, maybe small talk

I think Giyuu is actually an open book and horrible at hiding his emotions (like canonically as a child he was like that, only the deaths changed him sooo) whilst Sanemi is better at hiding things

But like after years of living with Sanemi/js being with him, Giyuu has been able to see small telltales

When he’s lying, Sanemi’s eyes flick every so slightly away (so subtly that only a few have caught it before), when he’s upset, he’s a little clingier or his voice is calmer (though many people interpret it as tiredness), when he’s angry but trying to stay calm he’ll probably have a lot of clenched fists (his hand opening and closing x100) but behind his back haha

Why can I see them both as dry texters tho.

Giyuu tries to sound more upbeat by adding emojis/emoticons but overall it’s basically just “Ok 😁👍❤️😋😚✨🎆🎉🎊🎏🍩🔥” // 😭 yeah he doesn’t have a lot of people to text…

I can also see Sanemi being a little old fashioned in a way, idk… He knows perfectly fine how to use a phone and shit but for some time mostly sent letters (except for casual/small talk ofc)

One of my favorites for Sam is "Broken Wings" by Alter Bridge. Especially this one part in the second verse:

Just speaks to me of how Sam was broken after everything he went through in Afghanistan, with Riley and all, but he takes that brokenness and uses it to help others who are broken.

5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them? The obvious one would be Landscape Under the Ghost-Kaminano but one I really adore is Gustav Holst's Venus, the Bringer of Peace which was suggested to me by @novatheastropirate as a Jun vibes piece of music and I cosign and love it so much!!

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character? Hmm the first one that comes to mind, that I'm reminded of due to those gifs I just made, is that Jun's fuckass bird functions as a kind of 'familiar' and she's able to see through its eyes. I feel like that's kinda implied since she has an awareness of what's going on in the world despite her coma. Plus it's literally made of some kinda energy of unknown origin that she seems able to absorb so why not, really.

13. What's an emoji, an emoticon and/or any symbol that reminds you of this character or you think the character would use a lot? Literally all the tree/flower/bird emojis. I feel in my heart she'd find them so endearing.

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire? Jin. There's no way he was a planned baby but she loved him so much regardless, did a great job raising him and instilling him with a moral code and gentleness that reflects her own, and even after believing her dead for years he still tries to follow what she'd want, and she is clearly very proud of him. Their positive relationship is very important to me. And also, that part when she told him that not taking care of yourself hurts those who love you? Very important message for us all in general. There's an underrated care and wisdom that's universally applicable in that scene that I absolutely adore.

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter? I am 100% on board the Jun/Anna besties train I think the potential their friendship could have is fucking amazing.

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

Naomi is one of the characters who has the more stable characterization in the whole show and has a logical and nice development. I love that she doesn't fall into the bad cases of "strong woman" / "girl who has a temper" (who most of the time is just bitchy) and is strong in so many ways, plus she is sassy in a good way and is fun to follow!

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

While Naomi didn't know how to dance for "a classy ball" before "My Fair Naomi", she was always a good dancer. Naomi has a great sense of rhythm and very good stamina. Her favourite dances would be Halling and Irish dance.

Hmm, why do I like him - obviously, aesthetic. Yep, I'm a shallow girl and a man's looks are everything to me :)))))))))))) Just kidding, but with Hetalia, seriously. I love that he's lively and just insanely funny, but that he also has a dark side. As a fic character he has incredible potential either way (I wrote him as a twisted but villain once and had one hell of a crush on him writing it ngl). What I dislike is his canon portrayal, how he's often made to look like he's this short-fused, aggressive but stupid guy who also craps out very quickly and that's all there is to him, kinda?

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

Ah, sticking to his canon portrayal, for the most part. Making him not-a-fully-fledged human being, rather unidimensional guy who is edgy or angry/hostile for no actually given reason, or stupid. I love that you don't do that, that you 'build' him so well <3<3<3

Hmmm... I'd say PruMano. I mean, to me that sounds just so they can match their siblings' pair while they don't have any chemistry or anything imo. I love Prussia, but he and Romano are not a thing for me.

In all my fics I love making him the opposite of his fucking canon portrayal. Smart, cool, powerful and occasionally a bad guy. Like, same with Romano, he has a lot of potential as a character and I enjoy writing him. I don't think there's anything I don't like.

Obvious answer would be 🩵, since that's the emoji I use while tagging the pairing on tumblr ficlets, but I think 😈 is one she would use often in kayfabe haha.

I'm kind of really into the first thing she did, when she was in the mist, where she had the dark makeup running down her eyes but hadn't changed her ring gear yet, so I'm going to go with a Goth jock aesthetic.

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to ths character? Something you don't like?

I love when fics play on the reasoning behind her heel turn! It's such a rich narrative to look at why she finally gave into the mist when she fought it for months, and there are so many options there. I guess what I don't love is when people file her sharp edges down; in kayfabe, we've gotten her attacking Mercedes and coming in to turn the tides for Julia, and multiple thumb tack spots. Let her be mean! Keep that part in her character, it's so compelling!

OH, how fun. hmm, what emoji would Lily Evans overuse... Well I think she'd like this one a lot: 💅🏼 And I think she'd use different colored hearts depending on the person/circumstance. Red is generic, the catch-all heart emoji; if you receive yellow hearts, you know she cares about you, and you're someone who really makes her smile; she sends purple hearts when she's being particularly loving, because she thinks the color feels comforting; and one day, when red clearly isn't right, purple isn't needed, and yellow just isn't special enough...she sends James Potter a green heart. Her favorite color for her favorite person.

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

Like you said he gets ignored too much to be mischaracterized lmao but I have seen fanart/fanfics where he's portrayed as like...a lovable idiot kinda character? And he's just kind of annoying and childish or straight up a creep. He would not fucking do that.

I have a few:

he's a light sleeper. He was also the kind of kid who slept during class or just didn't pay attention at all and still got good grades. This is based entirely on that one panel where he's sleeping during a meeting

he's the one who got Cham into the Legion, or at least suggested that he should be a Legionnaire. He doesn't work for Earthgov anymore but he still has the connections

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

I mean what's not to like? He's got a cool alien design which is very much needed in the Legion and he's based, though I wish it wasn't treated as a joke as much. I love how he keeps calling the Legionnaires out on their bullshit. I also love his friendship with Brainy, it's so sweet how Brainy of all people managed to bring out his softer side. I am fully convinced that he wanted to befriend him because when they were stuck in the 20th century they were the only ones who looked obviously not human.

9. Could you be roommates with this character?

Hmm, I don't know, I think we probably have vastly different needs what with him being a bug and all. Also considering how he said that Vyrgans only take care of their youngins for a brief period of time and then they're on their own, I think he'd prefer to live alone.

16. What's your least favorite ship for this character?

Unfortunately I have to say Can//Liet. I just got too many requests with it and it took away from my other work that i was more passionate about. But that's my own fault for not just refusing that many requests, yet it still affected my like for the ship unfortunately.

I have many answers to this but IDEAL friend probably Ukraine. They have some history and they have similar personalities that I think they'd get along really well.

immediately i saw the connections between the story of l'mannes and l'manburg like bee i see what you did there (it caused much screaming), and the lesson for Tomys that Phil mentioned is still an enigma to me but wow the two brothers thing (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)

then the bandits. the contract. 'make it look natural', they were after Tomys, whoa who could it be???? Niki is very sus, especially in how the little flashback thing she seemed off in some way. 'Niki froze, her fingers pushing into the soft skin of her cheeks', Niki do you know something about this. Your tone was all funky. She definitely knew about this before Wilbur told her but doesn't like how Wilbur is going. Longtime friendship = regrets on her part for this whole thing going down. Niki also doesn't like Tomys at all, and expressed her dislike of him being king at all. Quackity isn't the kind of guy to do something like this, being all words and money, but he did mention something about being careful on the old mountain roads and made kind of a big deal about it. Actually the money part might have something to do with this, another point on Quackity doing this. The others in the court are otherwise having no evidence for.

hmm who could it be who could it be... it seems the main suspects people are focusing on are niki and quackity. let me give some counter points for both of them though

(now this isn't me saying neither of them hired the bandits. I'm not giving you the answer lol, I'm just pointing out flaws in the theories)

keep in mind, wilbur is niki's best friend. the closest thing to family she's ever had. do you really think she would go so far as to get him killed just to take down tommy? keep in mind, tommy has only been at the palace for a month or so. do you think her and wilbur's entire friendship that they've had since they were children has gone that downhill that fast?

now for quackity, yes he has the means, but do you think he'd go that far? he's not the type to do this like you pointed out. and again, he's close with wilbur as well. they've all been friends since they were children. do you really think he'd be willing to sacrifice one of his childhood friends just to take tommy out?

it could very well be one of them. or it might be someone else entirely. you guys are going to have to keep guessing ;)
