This is such a random thought/question, but do the members of Corroded Coffin know about Eddie’s massive crush on The Queen of Hawkins High, Chrissy FUCKING Cunningham?.....They have to know, right?... Eddie is not exactly a subtle guy and they were there for that infamous meet cute at the middle show talent show that Eddie remembers after five years? I need to know their povs about that whole encounter.  Seeing the lanky eight grader with a buzzcut, who they all admired and looked up to for starting a heavy metal band at 14,  falling completely and utterly in love with a tiny strawberry blonde cheerleader in the 6th grade with pom poms that was nearly bigger than her body, and them not having a fucking clue what is happening before their eyes to their cool leader.  Just Eddie blushing like mad as small and cute Chrissy compliments them on their very first real live performance and Eddie just being tongue tied over trying to compliment her cheering without knowing anything about cheer. 

I wanna know about the evolution of his crush from then into the present from their pov. I wanna know how Eddie’s crush progressed from mere blushing to full out drunken/stoned renditions of  ‘ I Was Made for Lovin You’  by KISS in the earliest hours of the morning after a show at the Hideout and everything in between. I wanna know what kind of threat/blackmail that Eddie used/had on them for them not to tell everyone about this crush that goes against everything he stands for.

He doesn't expect the barista in the drive-thru he's ranting about the engineering issues to actually provide decent feedback, and give him a few alternatives.

So he rushes to the pick-up window, not even caring to order, to look at this godsend of a barista.

It's a scrawny kid with black hair and blue eyes, looking startled. Boy can't be more than eighteen.

He asks what college the kid is going to, or plans to go to.

To his absolute horror, the kid-Danny, according to the nametag-says he can't afford college. That he'd had a stint in highschool where he just hadn't been able to focus, and his parents had spent every penny they had on their own inventions.

So that was why he was a barista; because if he worked there for four years, they would offer tuition assistance.

Which.

Lucius pulls around to march into the store, Bruce Motherfucking Wayne already blearily on his phone.

He is getting this kid, and any friend of his, into college.

it really fucks me up how often house md has this message of “the love was there. just not enough.” because of COURSE chase and cameron loved each other. of course house and cuddy were in love and foreman and thirteen were in love and wilson and sam were and cuddy and lucas and house and lydia and house and stacy and taub and rachel but. it just wasn’t enough. the love was there and it matters that it was there. but it saves no one. it fixes nothing. they still move on. they still leave. somebody is always left alone in the end. After Eddie’s Tiktok circulates and everybody see Nancy’s text about Steve staying at her house, people start (jokingly, mostly) calling her a harlot for trying to steal his husband.

Nancy responds by tweeting a picture of her, Steve, and (surprise!) Jonathan since Jon’s in town for work. They’re all in her bed and in their pajamas. There are snacks and they’re getting ready to watch a movie. All three of them are doing peace signs because they are bisexuals.

She captions the picture with “Ms Steal-yo-man” and tags Corroded Coffin and Argyle.

Eddie responds with a tweet from the Official Corroded Coffin twitter account like, “This is exactly what everybody thought was going on in high school.”

a few notes for any interactions

🌸 despite being a waddle dee, other waddle dees typically don't like being around her, and folks who already know what a waddle dee should be like also tend to get a weird vibe off her. 🌸 she is quite friendly and approachable, but prone to extreme anxiety if she perceives she might have done something wrong or inappropriate. tiny wanya takes criticism the way a handful of hay takes a flame. 🌸 if you have wings and you take her flying she'll never leave your side. she's only palm sized, so if you are big and have wings or can fly, please pick her up and go flying with her please please pleeaase she wants to go go flying and fawn over your wings so so bad 🌸 for the purposes of the tourney, which by merit of its existence is something of an au timeline, consider this event to completely predate her ability to summon these.
