Face Match API: Accelerate KYC with Secure Facial Verification
In the digital-first world, verifying someone's identity needs to be fast, reliable, and fraud-proof. That’s where a Face Match API comes in — offering businesses an automated, AI-powered way to confirm if a person’s selfie matches the photo on their ID document. Gridlines’ Face Match API is designed to do just that, enabling real-time identity verification for seamless KYC (Know Your Customer) processes.
Tumblr media
What Is a Face Match API?
A Face Match API is a technology solution that compares two facial images — typically a selfie and an ID photo — to determine if they belong to the same person. It’s often used in KYC, onboarding, and fraud prevention workflows across fintech, insurance, and workforce platforms.
With Gridlines' API, businesses can integrate this capability into their mobile apps or platforms to instantly verify users, detect spoofing attempts, and maintain regulatory compliance.
Why Use Gridlines' Face Match API?
Gridlines offers a powerful and flexible Face Match API that delivers:
Real-time facial comparison with match scores
Liveness detection to stop spoofing (e.g., photo/video attacks)
Seamless integration via REST APIs
Scalability for high-volume verifications
Secure and encrypted data handling
Whether you're onboarding gig workers, verifying customers for loans, or conducting background checks, Gridlines’ face match API helps ensure the person is who they say they are.
Real-World Use Case
A digital lending platform needs to verify users quickly without manual intervention. By using the Face Match API from Gridlines, they can match a user’s selfie to the photo on their Aadhaar card in real-time. If the match score is above the set threshold and liveness is confirmed, the user is instantly approved — reducing drop-offs and increasing trust.
Benefits for Your Business
✅ Reduce onboarding time from days to seconds
✅ Prevent identity fraud with AI-based checks
✅ Stay compliant with digital KYC norms
✅ Offer users a smoother, mobile-friendly experience
Built for Developers
Gridlines make it easy to integrate facial matching into your existing system. The API is well-documented, comes with sample payloads, and is backed by technical support — so your team can go live faster.

Crystal: You don't think I can fight because I'm a woman!
Charles: I don't think you can fight because you're wearing a wedding dress! For what it's worth, I don't think Edwin could fight in that dress either.
Edwin: Perhaps not, but I would be radiant.

we need to talk about the Blue Light.
Tumblr media
how it represents a safe passage forward from Death, and more broadly it symbolises the idea of a personal, individual to each person Heaven;
how the person usually isn't as directly lit as Edwin here, but from a side?
and how, when Charles looks at Edwin with the slightest smile and utter conviction in his eyes, Edwin is completely bathed in blue?
and. how Edwin, dead on a technical error, never got to see where his soul really belonged when it comes to his afterlife— and yet it's doubtless, from this shot alone, what his original destination would be.

Ive been laughing at this screen rant headline for like a minute bc if you’ve read the robin lives series you know the line "finally gets the ending he deserves" isn't a compliment and then it ends with "hardcore fans thought they'd never see" Which very much reads as "You thought jasons characterization in the comics couldn't get any worse think again dipshit we've reached whole new levels of bullshit youd never even dream we'd reach"

I appeal to your compassionate hearts to stand with us in whatever way you can. Do you feel what my family and I feel?
Our lives have become lifeless; we are just waiting for our turn to die.
We dream of getting a little food to survive, and sometimes we cannot get it.
If you feel what my family and I feel, please donate and share on your page.

it’s weird seeing photos of jayden revri in the lodge, because at the time of filming, he was probably charles’ age. noah/jayden looks incredibly young in the lodge, but THAT is, physically speaking, an age-accurate charles rowland
THIS is the charles rowland that was murdered by his friends at school

She's done! Sort of. Now, it's time to give Charles improved curls since I've got more practice with hair, and he deserves better than my first-ever attempt.

I'm very sleepy but I've had another Edwin thought.
Before WWII, the unnecessary gendering of pink and blue was actually swapped; pink was associated with boys, and blue with girls. The reason it swapped after WWII is gay men sent to concentration camps were marked as such with pink triangles, and so the color became associated with femininity instead of masculinity. Tragic yet fascinating stuff, and absolutely worth knowing, as all things relating to concentration camps, especially in WWII, are. How to avoid history repeating itself, etc-
But why does that make me think of Edwin? Yes he's gay, but he predates WWII, and he's definitely not associated with the color pink?
It's because of all that, and he's associated with blue, of course!
Blue was the needlessly gendered girl color in Edwin's time, and he liked it even before he died, the blue cap Simon snatched off him, remember? I'm not 100% sure on if it's a one to one or if we've gone even harder on the needlessly gendering, but picturing every instance of blue related to Edwin as pink instead as a thought exercise for the fem vibes of his clothes is fun, to me at least.

I like the idea that none of the batfamily members really know Jason's story. If they were there for his robin days then they weren't when he was in the league, and no one really has the full story on his childhood. I think they have to piece together Jason's story with each other. I think that they are hyper-aware when Jason mentions something about his past, every little comment pulling the wool from their eyes a little more. No one likes the full picture, and Jason, for all of his efforts to hide it, doesn't like that they've seen it.

I've convinced three people now to watch Dead Boy Detectives and every single one of them has texted me after the first episode like "It's sweet how Charles is clearly so in love with Edwin!"
The only person who has not clocked this boy's obvious bisexual crush remains Charles Rowland himself.
